Our table (first one on the right as you enter) was awesome. Great time with a wonderful server. It’s 2 stars due to security guard yelling at our group for being on the turf that was on our table. Go aggressive for no reason told us “hes sick of our ****” .And harassing the males. Poor experience with him though server was attentive and wonderful and deserved extra tip.
I visited this place and encountered two individuals who behaved extremely poorly. They seemed to revel in their power trip, harassing and intimidating others without any justification. Their behavior was completely uncalled for and ruined my experience. Its concerning that such individuals are allowed to frequent this establishment without consequence. I would strongly advise against patronizing this place until they address these issues and ensure the safety and comfort of all customers.
Getting into the club was the best part of our experience in this place. The security in front was polite and let us right in. He deserves a promotion!!!I do understand that it’s a club and gets busy BUT customer service brings the tips. First of their drink price is way higher that what they promote online (double the price) which is a total scam. Secondly, security guys inside the club that are 5’1 but just because they have a “logo” on they think they got “power”. Treating customers so poorly!! I will never return in this place again. Management needs to do better with their staff as clearly you could tell this place is going down the hole and don’t even come closer to the other Bottle blonds in other states.
REPLY : Sure if you want to make it right. Where do I contact you?? No details provided in your reply.Management is Terrible. Went to the washroom and my food which was barely eaten and a full drink was taken away in a matter of being in the washroom for less than 5 minutes. When I spoke to a Manager, he didn’t care and did not replace and then proceeded to provide a bill with a 22% gratuity. Disgusting behaviour, avoid at all costs. If the male manager is that rude to customers, can’t imagine how he treats the staff.
09/19/2023. I was there at happy hour. The place was absolutely dead. Saw an article in the local news so came to check out the atmosphere. Since the place was dead and I didn’t get anything to eat, I’ll only review my single experience there, which was the consumption of 1 beer. This establishment is a drink price-gouger. Their drinks are terribly overpriced and expensive. And that’s why I left after 1 beer. I drink a very plain boring beer. Nothing fancy. Outside of happy hour, this place wants $12 for a single bottle of Miller Light!!!!! $12!!!!! I can’t begin to imagine what mixed drinks cost. I had the 1 beer and left. Never more.
I went to the pop up at the Phoenix open. Not only were the wells drinks (vodka and soda) $25 which is INSANE, the bartender gave himself a $6 tip on my credit card when I told him I’d tip cash and NOT to put tip on my credit card. So I paid $31 for one vodka soda. When I called him out on it all he said was “thanks, baby.” I only know I paid this amount because I asked for a receipt. Everyone else that says no would have no idea they’re tipping $6 for an insanely priced wells drink. I won’t ever return to this place - at the open or in old town.
I went during the day for the Super Bowl for the first time. I have to say that I am surprisingly impressed with this place. Im from Miami and I am so picky about my service and atmosphere. The servers killed it! Even though we technically had one server, all of them worked together as a team. They were constantly checking on us and were happy to help even if it wasnt their table. The food runners also had a good attitude and had no problem grabbing something for us if we needed it. Although it is pricier than other places near by, there is a reason for that. I ordered $200 worth of food/ drinks for myself and every single thing was so good. I usually do not like Oldtown because it is rift rafty, but you could tell that prices attracted the right crowd. It had a good vibe to it and the servers were all so beautiful. I would go back!
Worth the hype. Flew this past weekend to Scottsdale from south Carolina for a bachelor party. Spoke with the bar manager Charlie months prior to help prepare for a group of 20 to come and reserve a table with service. He was extremely professional and explained everything from pricing to service details and didn’t miss one thing. We had a large private section with with our own security Q who made sure we were always good. Our bottle service attendants led by Alex were phenomenal as well. Not once did we go without service from the walk in to the walk out. If you’re going to visit the area and need high end service with an entertaining environment go to bottled blonde. Thanks again for everything !
This is like what someone who has never been clubbing in their life might imagine a fun night club looking like. Its a simulacrum of a fun night out.The music is decent, although not very creative. The drinks are fine, the service is surprisingly fast (possibly because the drinks are so expensive that relatively few people actually go to the bar). Thats the good part. The bad parts: The bartenders lingere-style outfits are incredibly tacky. Even more tacky (and downright dangerous) is the weird parades they do through the club every time someone orders bottle service, with a bartender riding high on the shoulders of two bouncers. Because theres so little elbow room, the bouncers will often violently push you aside to make room for this spectacle. The dance floor is hilariously small for such a big club. Clearly the management knows they make most of their money with VIP booths, because they take up most of the space. Dont expect to have room for any dance moves other than bobbing up and down and maybe doing a bro-fist in the air.All in all its not surprising that most of the clientele are bachelor and bachelorette parties from out of town. I cant imagine any locals wanting to be here more than once. Its souless. You can have a way better time partying for less than a third of what this place costs.
Ive planned fifteen bachelorettes and have to say that coming here for bottle service led to the worst bachelorette experience Ive ever had. Ive never actually left a bad review, but this experience warranted it. Table service is incredibly overpriced for a bar where the entire clientele is incredibly aggressive and predatory men. We actually left two hours early despite paying such high prices due to some incredibly awful service and insanely strange interactions with security. If you are on a bachelorette and considering table service, we strongly recommend 50 Shades of Rose or Whiskey Row instead! They were incredible!
Owners: check the cameras and confirm with your staff the following events. I am a recently hired executive at a large local business who historically frequents your establishment for staff parties / outings. My company budget will no longer be going towards this establishment.I went here to finish up some work after hours. I was at the bar with my computer and had two appetizers and some drinks. I am not from Arizona, and have been traveling here just recently due to new employment.Upon checkout, both my cards did not work. I carry two and both are from Citizens Bank. A business, and separate personal checking account. Apparently, they are somehow linked.I’ve been traveling for work, and Citizens decided to lock both my accounts at this time for “suspicious activity” due to travel when attempting to pay out the $150 bill. Something that was completely unexpected and out of my control. And understandably annoying for all parties involved. This unfortunate circumstance caused some understandable friction with the bar staff. I called my bank to try and resolve this only to find they recently stopped customer support at 7 PM EST. Unable to reach customer service to unlock both my accounts, I notified the bar staff and manager of the circumstance.I showed them the checking account balances of $3k+, and the error to confirm the issue was with my bank’s fraud department. I proactively offered for them to hold my ID and both bank cards until I could resolve the issue in the morning. Because I wanted to over extend myself by giving them security/leverage. I’m traveling, and literally cannot take my return flight without my license. I had hoped this would show good intentions. I did not have to do this.Upon receiving this information, the manager Dante, was incredibly rude. He had no empathy for the unique circumstance (which I get is annoying) and got very angry at a customer. Indirectly calling me an “idiot” without using the word for being locked out of two accounts simultaneously. And made me explain to him that, yes, ATM withdrawals also don’t work when bank security locks your accounts. He was fairly aggressive and rude, but understanding his frustrations - as a customer, mind you - I remained calm. Even when I asked to take a picture of my own card while leaving so I could call the bank in the AM, after voluntarily letting him keep the contents of my wallet, he refused to give me my own property. Which I’m fairly sure is illegal. He made me take the picture from a distance, which was frankly embarrassing. He then proceeded to make a public scene of this exchange with the rest of the bar, security and host staff - improperly showing them how to treat a customer.I calmly left, and decided to call the emergency theft hotline of my bank which I knew has 24/7 hotline with the picture I had taken. Apologizing for the inconvenience, I asked if they could unlock my two accounts over a 20 minute call. They obliged, and unlocked both my cards. I returned, explained the unconventional way I had solved the unexpected issue to Dante, and sure enough the cards went through. After resolving the issue, which again was outside anyone’s expectation or control, I made the mistake of expressing to Dante, the manager, that I didn’t feel comfortable with how he had handled the situation. I was clearly going out of my way to cooperate, and his aggression towards a cooperating customer was unnecessary.I delivered this information man to man, and respectfully. Even considering the preceding events. Dante proceeded to get so aggressive that he was physically in my face, I had to take a step back and put my hands in the air to disarm the aggression. He then notified the entire security team and host staff to escort me out, who seemed equally uncomfortable having witnessed the exchange and my lack of confrontation.Totally inappropriate behavior. You didnt lose a customer, you lost a multi hundred person local company and their outing budget. Ownership, email me if you need to fact check that; absolutely despicable.
Maybe the manager of Bottled Blonde Dante will read the reviews from the past few months about his overly aggressive security and bouncers and take action. There is no reason security guards should aggressively shove patrons out of the way in an already packed club. The security guards assaulted my group that came into the club this weekend. I am actively in the works of pressing charges against one of the bouncers after I (a woman) was sucker punched in the mouth during an altercation that had nothing to do with me! Why are the security guards throwing punches in a packed club!?!? Don’t go here unless you want to have a terrible night and a busted lip! Avoid at all costs and try out some of the other night clubs who respect their patrons.
Was having a fairly decent time on the rooftop with my brothers Bachelor Party. Needed to use the bathroom so I went and asked the bouncer on the bottom of the stairs (whoever was working that spot on the night of Thursday 4/4) if I could use the bathroom. Came back to the stairs afterwards, thinking I’d be all good to go back up. After all, the guy knew me as I had just asked him minutes before where the bathroom was. He said “it’s a 20 dollar cover.” I said brother, you just told me where the bathroom was, I didn’t think it would be a $20 dollar trip (26 with ATM fees), and he said “are you going to make me tell you a second time?” And I said “I was already up there, I wouldn’t have come to the bathroom if I knew this is how you’d play it” and he said “are you going to make me tell you a third time?” Etc etc. Just a complete jerk that ruined what had been the far a beautiful evening. Paid it and went back up, but come on, for the bathroom? Insanely bad customer service here and my advice would be: if you’d like to use the bathroom, the laundry costs of just having an accident might be cheaper
This half outdoor/indoor bar is great for watching a game with friends or dancing to music. There are multiple bars, one upstairs and two downstairs. The bathrooms are large with multiple stalls, which is great in comparison to bars nearby. Great spot for summer parties!
I would give zero stars if I could. We came here for my friend groups bachelor and bachelorette party last night. Upon entry staff seemed rude. It was packed so there was some bumping and accidental pushing which is normal at a club. What is not normal is while security is escorting the bottle girls they start aggressively shoving people out the way which was not necessary, this seems to be a trend reading the reviews. Security shoved my group and started a fist fight with the guys. During that, the Asian bouncer with the curly hair punched my friend (a women) in the face, my other friend was shoved to the ground and I was being shoved into other people getting their drink all over myself and them. People in my group kept trying to break every one up but it seemed like staff was more interested in a power trip and fighting fight than anything.
Out of all my years going out, this place is has the most overpriced drinks I have ever seen.MORE EXPENSIVE THE NEW YORK CITY, more expensive then Miami, more expensive then Los Angeles.$30+ for two domestic draft beers for the experience for the experience you get is laughable.DONT BE FOOLED, DONT GO HERE. Plenty of other great bars in Scottsdale for more then half the price with a better experience.
Member of staff: hi, its my last day, will you buy me a bottle of champagne?Me: no thank youMoS: why not?Me: well its very expensive and Im here with a friend of mine just having a drinkMoS: youre being disrespectfulMe: im sorry, but if its your last day maybe your colleagues will get you a drinkMoS: im telling the bouncer youre being disrespectfulMe: what!?Bouncer: you need to leaveMe: right oh
We went here for an OSU game. Let me first explain that I am not of college age, or even close. If you are, you’ll absolutely love this place! If not, you’ll probably have issues as I did. There was a $1,000 limit for a table…um excuse me?😳 Soooo, we stood for the entire first half. Music is thumping and having any sort of conversation is out of the question. The poor servers are trying to get around people and we were in the way no matter where we stood. Prices are stupid high for drinks. We didn’t eat, so I can’t speak to the food. It looked like regular bar fare imo. We walked 5 minutes to Clancey’s to watch the second half of the game. Got a table right away and only spent $117😂. The best part of The Bottled Blonde is the name of the place, number of TV screens, and one of the security people that was super nice. Overall, I can’t recommend. Also, parking is rough. Uber or use the parking garage that is within walking distance. They will tow you on the street in front of the restaurant and signs aren’t that obvious.
The worst bar experience. Bouncers are rude and egotistical. Shoved people like crazy with no attempt to say excuse me. Bouncer instigated, punched bride-to-be on mouth, shoved a bridesmaid down and used excessive force to hold a cooperative customer causing shoulder strain. The police were nicer than these people!
EVERYTHING IS TRASH. The guy in our group was racially profiled by the “security guard”. The “security guard” claimed that the bottle our friend was drinking wasn’t sold at the club. 🙄 we proceeded to ask the bartender that sold us the bottle to confirm that he sold us the bottle. The “security guard” was proven wrong and walked off. No apology. No regard for his mistake. No acknowledgment of his racial transgressions to his own people. Just absolutely ridiculous.
I can only review the service because I didn’t get a chance to try the food or experience the atmosphere.I purchased (3) 12oz. Bud Lights (1 for myself and 1 for 2 friends) for $80 which is already ridiculous, but that’s a different topic. As I was drinking my first and only $26 beer, I was approached by a 5’5” - 135 lbs bouncer who advised me that I’d had too much to drink and it was time to leave. The 2 other men that were with me received the same treatment, however the bouncers told my wife and the 2 other women that were with us that they could stay. After reading other reviews, I now realize that this is very typical of Bottle Blonde, but I would like to reiterate…1) I paid $26/beer for BUD LIGHT lol2) I had not even finished my first beer of the day when I was told Id had too much to drink3) Men get kicked out, but women can stay. After the little fella kicked us out, our wives obviously left with us and made a valid point that I had not considered. They were uncomfortable with the fact that men are kicked out, but women aren’t so they’re left alone in a dark club with a group of random men. This place is a total scam and I can guarantee that every single bad review is true.
Such an awesome place to go with a guys night out. Also a good place to go with your gf or wife. Just upbeat and everyone dressed to impress.
Heres an incident of how Bottled Blonde staff is borderline racist. I was there tonight with my brown friends and all of us had 1 drink each. While dancing among us, we noticed another group of brown guys who were clearly misbehaving and had one drink too many. However, the Bottled Blonde security staff came to us after sometime, picked one person from our group, and surprising to us, asked him to leave the club. We understood that this is a case of mistaken identity, and asked the security staff politely to review security footage or ask the bartender whether we were actually the ones to misbehave. But they were adamant. This goes to show how the Bottled Blonde staff is not at all trained to be mindful of different races and trip on power
Bottle Blond.- This is one of the worst bars that I have ever been to. Not to mention the flashy hired people present in the club to attract more audience from other clubs. Pathetic.- Apart from being racist, the security and there staff are highly untrained. You cant expect a proper response from any of the staff.Had a pathetic night that actually ruined our friends reunion.- Parking, is literally no possible. You need to walk a mile to have your car in a secured spot.Out of all the bars in the road, Bottle Blond shines out to be the worst.Whoever is reading this, I hope rethink your plan twice.Hope you dont experience what I and my friends did.Thank you Bottle Blond for being part of my NO-GO list ( which apparently got created by the pettiness of your staff and your unworthy presence in Scottsdale )Thanks.❌❌❌
Seemed very specific on who they kicked out. Friend of mine was approached for no reason after a so called “employee “ needed to get by, while in street clothes. We were kicked out on what it also seemed to be a power trip.
The most hostile environment I have ever experienced in a club. My group entered and were immediately told by security not to enter certain areas and shoved into weird corners. The music was so loud it hurt my 26 year old ear drums. Go somewhere else, this place is overhyped and not enjoyable.
Terrible service. Cannot say enough bad about this place. I was on a bachelor trip, had a couple drinks and got kicked out. I asked why when i left and was left with no explanation. I was completely sober. Turns out, they always kick large group of males out. Absolutely a terrible experience. DO NOT GO HERE
Overly aggressive bouncers. Need to take chill pills or be trained properly. Especially the smaller one with the beard. This isnt the secret service mate, it’s a dive bar in Scottsdale.
The drinks are overpriced but alright atmosphere. $21 per drink after 4.05 service charge with venue fee
This place is total scam. Ordered bottle service only to be interrupted and threatened by what I found out later was off the clock employees. Total creep show and scam session. Never a consistent price on drinks and make them up while they go. If you are male, get ready, you are going to have problems. Bouncers act like they are the secret service. Watched numerous males get kicked out for zero reason. Was told I could not wear Stan Smith shoes while I pointed out multiple people had on Jordans. Total scam. Bouncers are out of control.
These nasty cvn+s wearing 10 pounds of concealer selling beers at the Phoenix open really giving themselves 20% tips and not telling anyone. Ordered 3 beers from the bottled blond booth at the open last Sunday, funny how the girl asked me if I wanted my receipt then didnt give it to me so I asked her for it. She really gave herself a $9 tip for handing me 3 $12 beers and a lemonade. You dont need my money for your nasty plastic body! Actually unreal.
Spent over $200 on drink.. Was in the same spot dancing for over an hour. A rude bottle girl aggressively bumps in to me ( fyi everybodys bumping into everybody its a club) but she then says Very unprofessional words calling out of my name. So I politely tell her to walk away from me and I continue dancing. Security come up to me who was very respectful but he had no idea whats was going and would not hear me out only care about what she is saying kicks me out. Extremely unprofessional extremely embarrassing. Especially after continuously spending so much money in there on multiple occasions. 100% would not recommend wasting you time at this club.
Will kick you and anyone near you out without justification and threaten barring you from all clubs if you ask why you were removed. Would not recommend
I was roaming around old town having an ok day at best. Looking for the next bar.. all of sudden found myself in bottled blonde. Feeling a little gloomy I was greeted by Lalo. Lalo’s contagious energy was hard to overlook as I immediately felt in a much better mood. Lalo and I immediately connected exchanging jokes and stories of traveling. Many details left out I can honestly say Lalo is the reason I will be visiting Bottled Blonde more often!!!
Great classic spot! Unfortunately, its losing some of its luster and popularity. There are a lot of other new spots competing for attention. However, Bottle has the best layout, by far, compared to any other club in the area. It has tons of different gathering spots and a great open air 2nd floor. It is what you make it. Like any club, its mainly filled with self-absorbed materialistic people. However, the staff is great. Just treat them with common curiosity and respect, and youll find the experience hearts much better.
Terrible terrible terrible service. And most of male employees are really really rude and very unfriendly. I got ignored by 3 male employees when I walked in the door. And one guy snapped at me when I asked him for silverware. No joke. The garlic knots are totally disgusting, theyre totally mushy and soggy. And the food is just OK.
I did not eat here but I can’t imagine the food is not good. This place huge you should definitely find an area of comfort. Music is great, service is great, I’ve been there on Friday and Saturday. And most recently Sunday afternoon. Great place for drinks with friends.
Friend of mine got kicked out, stone cold sober, for having “too many drinks”. Group of 7 on a bachelor party @ waste management for the week. We should’ve looked at reviews before hand 😂
Overpriced for experience & drinksRead the reviews before going inSpent over $100 on 4 seltzers which is just unecessary. I asked if there were other reasonable drink options the bartender said no and thats basically the service in 1 sentence. Do not recommend at allAlso pay attention to your bill, gratuity is often added automatically
SCAM: Friday night Sept 29 a group of friends and I returned to the bar after hopping around a little to other places. After walking about 15 ft from the front door there was an open spot right at the corner of the bar , as my group walked on I ordered 3 rum and cokes. The bartender Caesar gave them to me and said $76 it threw me I had him repeat $76. I said oh I dont have enough cash. (My girl friend who walked on had my wallet with all my cards un said) no other words were spoken and he had me immediately thrown out. $76 doesnt make sense they are making up the prices as they go. An hour ago rum and cokes were $20 each. Again no other words were spoken. It was almost exactly 12:30. I say this in case video could be watched by someone who cares. MOB MENTALITY EXTORTION dont go there. Tall customer Navy button down short sleeve. Business owner! Shocking. If he still works there no one cares. Watch the video. My friend is buddies with the owner
This place is absolute garbage, we walked in and no one was there but decided to have a drink anyway. They charged us 200usd for 4 drinks and 4 shots. The place next door was 90usd. Trying to take advantage of us because no one was there so had to make money somehow. Better bars to go too
No space to dance and for 2 beers get this. The retired bar tender charged me 35.00 for 2 beers(modelo, bud light for the misses). Her skinny head told me she put her tip into that billed statement. Told my buddy’s this from Canada they told me to secret shop there and report y’all. Good thing my next visit won’t be so soon
The bartenders were great. Super fast and nice. On a busy Saturday night they got to everyone within a minute. Unheard of in this area with all the other clubs. However we got 4 shots for a total of $87 & my vodka soda was $19.97 I didnt even ask for a specific brand.
Nice place I really appreciate the water mist bc of the heat in phx. Great atmosphere and music. But it was a group of us and the waitress told me I needed to put my card on file for the group or I had to go to the bar to order. Issue is I only knew one person in the group, why would I do that. So I went to the bar to do my order. Then she took individual orders. Idk. I didnt even bother to make a fuss about it. But overall, I enjoyed my visit
Ive been there multiple times. For some reason, the line was limited on the new year eve in comparison to other nearby places. But the music and atmosphere was amazing.
Paid 32$ for two regular seltzers incl. Tax and gratuity. I know you pay for the venue and stuff so I’m almost fine with that price. But I found out today that I was charged 52$. Seems like a nice customer experience.. not
Very small space and far too crowded. Mix drinks are nineteen dollars.. Insane.
Bouncers are absolutely on a power trip. They kicked out my boy on his second drink of the night during his bachelor party. Not causing any drama or nothing whatsoever, without any type of warning or attempt of discussion. We had already paid over $200 after one round of drinks for our large party on our first round of drinks. Security was unresponsive in any type of discussion over any sort of resolve or remediation. Overall disappointed as we were planning to reserve bottle service for the night in celebration. Well have to head to another bar for the night.
I guess this is exactly what you get. A club with basically no dance floor, all VIP tables. Three times more security and serving staff than necessary. Probably one of the least efficient operations I’ve seen, everyone trying to do something extra for a tip but really the staff just needs to let the servers work and stay out if the way. Couldn’t get anywhere in the bar without someone on the staff pushing you out if the way so more staff could get somewhere all holding one thing.
Bottled Blonde is truly my happy place!!Because of the special treatment I get from everyone that works there especially Dante Lalo Jordan Ashley Alley Caesar Tanner Sam and all the staff. I also love the food!!!!Thank youDebbie
Charged my friend $26 for a vodka Redbull. Considering most places charge between $10-$14 for this exact drink, absolute rip off. The drink tasted off and not right. Very rude bottle girls/bartenders. Hardly anyone was there and it makes sense why people steer clear.
Unless you want to pay 50$ for a drink don’t visit this place . Not worth the money
Great venue for nightlife in old town Scottsdale but posting this review to say be warned that if they are advertising a music artist afterparty that you will pay a cover and the artist won’t show up.
The security guards were treating us like cattle. “Move! Move!” And pushing us . I felt extremely disrespected. I understand we are in the wild west but the security guards need to do some social training and start to understand that people are not cattle. Simple as that. Not going back to this place in the next 100 years until the security guards start learning how to treat people.
An overall embarrassment as an establishment. This bar has nothing more to offer than utilizing womens bodies to attract income and to market itself on the exploitation of young and old, sexualized women. Sure, they offer food and drinks, but other successful local breweries, restaurants, etc., could provide the same quality without ruining dignity. If the owners were to take down my comment, or whoever manages this side of the internet for them, then let that show how insecure the owners; or overall team might be.
Not the great place to go to on the strip. First off the price which was ridiculous. They dont show the price on their menus but we orderded a couple drinks and it costed almost 70 dollars. This is such a rip off, if the business is ready Id like them to provide a breakdown of three redbulls, draft beer and gin because the price thrown made no sense. The other issue was the continued pests from the women wearing next to nothing. I understand the business strategy to attract people in but they dont need to act like pests every few minutes asking if you need more drinks. Common courtesy is to maybe be nearby when someone needs something, you dont need to feel pressured to buy anything if you dont want too just because they spawn next you every min. Were from the UK and we asked them for a price and they didnt even provide that. It seemed like they made it up to be fairly honest as we didnt buy another round.
Not only is it really expensive ($40 for one Corona and one Titos mixed drink) and the security/waitresses are really rude (will push you aggressively if youre standing in their way without saying excuse me), but they are apparently thieves too. I visited during a bachelorette party back in March and ordered one round of the drinks above, and noticed when I returned home on my bank statement it charged me twice. I tried to call them about it and they kept saying theyd call me back and never did. I fought my bank on it and they reached out to the bar themselves and the bar sent the same receipt twice (the merchant copy with my signature and the customer copy I must have left behind) and tried to play it off as two different charges, even though they were at the same time. My bank apparently fell for it so I am in the process of still fighting with my bank now, but really poor customer service on their part for never calling me back after calling 3 times and being told the manager will get back to me. All around not a place I want to give my money to again.**Edit**I left this review without reading any other ones, but after looking through, seems like all the experiences I had (including the double charging and stealing my money) is the norm there. Dont make the same mistake we all did by going here, so many other good options around.
The security here allow men, especially high rollers, who harass and grope women to stay in the club after theyve been reported. Ladies, if you are groped, harassed, or otherwise made to feel unsafe by someone here and security does not act know that the club has opened themselves up to liability. Dont let it slide call the police. Use the buddy system. Youve been warned.
Had a great time watching the Ohio state game on 12/31 at a table we bought. All was great until the game ended and we closed out. The second we paid the bouncers started behaving strangely. We asked for a receipt and our server said yes at first, but then weirdly refused. We went to the front to ask again and they told us we couldn’t get a receipt because we already paid. Lol, what?? After going back and forth they finally bring us a receipt to which my friend says, “thank you”. Apparently the bouncer “didn’t like his tone” and literally kicked us out after spending hundreds of dollars on food and drinks. Super sketchy how they didn’t want to let us see our bill. This is not the way to treat high paying customers, because you want to “turn the tables over”. We loved coming here for the ohio state games, but after how we were treated I highly doubt we will spend our money here again.
I’ve been to this venue multiple times over the last 6 weeks. I order the exact same drink and the pricing is different literally every single time I order. Even in the same sitting the price changed twice. Consistency is key. None of the employees are properly trained and are unhappy with eeg. Just because you are profitable does not mean you have a successful business.
The night consistent of constantly corralled like cattle by a bunch of 20 something year old bouncers acting like they are escorting the president. Being told to go somewhere else for standing in the same spot too long. Also ungodly expensive beer prices.
Cool place but pricing is obnoxious. $12 for a bud light. All their drinks are insanely overpriced. Had a bill for over $220 and we split a pizza, had 2 beers, 2 mimosas and 2 normal shots.Staff is super nice but I cant get past how crazy their prices are. Wont be going back there again unless Im ordering water.
I’ve been here a handful of times, I’m from out of town, but always try to stop at bottled blonde when I’m scottsdale. Ashley M is the sweetest bartender, super friendly, and gorgeous! Always happy to see her face when I come in, she sets the atmosphere with her happy and genuine personality. The world needs more responsible and professional bartenders like her!
I paid $35 for a Long Island Iced Tea. The gratuity is included. My first thought was, is this legal?
This place used to be very nice when it first opened. I just visited Phoenix and tried to enter arlt 1:30am and they refused to let me enter unless I bought a table.i was just trying to have a drink with a friend since I was in town. The security tall white guy with a giant head had an attitude for no reason. I asked what hours they are normally open until, and he replied it doesnt matter, you arent getting in. Literally disrespectful for no reason. I said, you didnt answer my actual question, he said I dont care about your question, it doesnt matter, the guy acted extremely irritated and had no respect for the customers. My friend witnessed all of this as well. If you want to get a drink somewhere avoid this place, we as Americans deserve better customer service.
Poor service and cheated on my bill by staff. be mindful if partying there late at nite - they will take advantage of you! I ordered a bucket of water bottles (because locking in 3 tables + bottle service wasnt enough to get ample water when we needed it) and i was charged $120 including a 20% top - which was fine. however, someone from the staff wrote in an additional $40 with a smiley face - which i would never do. why would i ever pay $60 tip on water!!!? I reached out to management and got the run-around but finally connected with Dante the manager who still hasnt reimbursed me even though he agreed he would for the extra $40! please be wary of this establishment!!
0 stars honestly! Highly suggest you do not spend your money here. Broke my shoe early in the night at a work event, a security guard that had been lovely told me to put it back on. I explained that I couldn’t so he told me to follow him to get shoes. I followed him and he passed me off to 3 other security guards who then told me I was kicked out for being intoxicated (which I was not). They also never told me I was being kicked out so my phone and purse were still upstairs. Told the front door my situation and they would not allow me back in to get my phone and purse. Luckily found a coworker who called another coworker to get my purse and phone. She then asked the security guard to come talk to me and he said he didn’t remember so had to leave.
I have been here before and it’s okay! Great music but the people that works there are not nice and they are also really weird! I was there Sunday with my friend. He had a table and he invited his friends but I guess one of his friends did not like me at all so she asked one of the servers to kick me out. Instead of asking why she wants to kick me out, the server got four security guards and literally kicked me out for no reason at all!! Sometimes you will meet people that are racist!! Always be nice and be respectful to people, especially when you are talking to someone that you do not like!!
They should pay their employees better🥲cause every time I go there they treat me very badly.
SCAM BAR!! with a group of people, they let the girls in for free, the bouncer than tried charging us $800 a male to get in, rip off, scam and most likely illegal. Tons of other places to go to, DONT GO THERE
This place is racist as hell. One time I went there, they wouldnt let me in because I was wearing Nike Air Force Ones and a baseball hat, but they let a white guy in behind me who was wearing the same thing. The one time I was able to get in, I was charged $10 for a 12 once bottle of beer. I will never go there again. They should put a sign on the door saying, No Coloreds allowed
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT TH ACTIONS OF THEIR HOSTESSES AND BOTTLE SERVICE GIRLS!! They try to rip you off at every turn. I put everything on my credit card and yet they went and told my friends to pay as well behind my back. They seriously tried double charging us. My friend was charged $400 four times. No wonder they have terrible reviews.
Truly horrendous experience here, only giving two stars because the venue has so much potential and because I’m most likely not the target demo. Drinks are insanely expensive for nothing more than a liquor and a mixer. The wait staff is impatient and when we asked if a specific game could be on the tv in front of us we were told “not unless (we) buy a bottle”Worst of all, and as many others have mentioned the policies at this place are very racist. I was dress coded for wearing Nike Dunks, but Jordans are also not allowed. Clearly this bar is trying to limit Black patrons, and pass it off as a specific dress code. I talked my way in and saw people were inside with flip flops. Hard no.
Awesome experience. I was lucky enough to get a table on the rooftop for a very reasonable price, especially with how great the service was. The lady at the front that took us to the table was very very nice and seemed like she knew exactly what needed to be done, she became my go to whenever I needed something. Our bottle girls were nice as well, we had a few of them but Bella stood out the most. She was able to put up with our wild group and was more than understanding when my card was having issues (bank thought it was fraud because I never told them I was traveling) which she explained happened all the time and we got it taken care of. The bodyguard Tyler was amazing as well. Highly recommend this place over any other club in Scottsdale. I will be back
This place is a scam. $17 dollar cocktails (already woof) but they charged me $24/drink (??!) because the small print on their menu mentions prices may vary without indicating any specific item or how big the price jump would be. $1-2 seems more reasonable, but SEVEN dollars more for a drink, without a heads up until the bill came is criminal. The manager was completely unhelpful, I mentioned that I would regrettably have to take money out of the tip to cover the price hike and he didnt care in the slightest that his servers were being affected.
The seating was incredibly dirty, old couches with sticky stuff all over them. Surprising that it cost us 141 dollars before tip for 3 appetizers and 1 round of drinks. Not even sure how they are in business
Delicious fries! Burger was pretty good too. Monday night football, weekday busy. I was told it gets lively later during the night.
I ordered 4 vodka cranberry drinks and was charged $200. I told them I no longer wanted the drinks after finding out their absurd prices and the bartender said I was required to pay since they had already been ordered. I refused to sign the tab and they called 4 security guards over who literally forced me to sign it or we weren’t allowed to leave.
After a week of expensive fun, we found out that they overcharged us every time. We paid almost 30 dollars for three beers. We asked a local who paid half the price. As soon as they hear a foreign accent, they almost double it. Pretty sad because the atmosphere is good!DONT GO HERE IF YOURE NOT AMERICAN!!Update 2023: still the same story AND A BARTENDER ADMITTED THAT IT WAS THE POLICY!!! We just paid 35 dollar for two Coronas and we asked locals who paid 8 bucks for a single one. Thing didnt change.
Seemed like a typical college type bar. I’m too old to suggest a rating above average. Staff outfits were skimpy and worn by women about my daughters age…had a drink and left. If you’re 23 yrs old, I suppose I could recommend.
We charge Vegas prices for bottles on a Tuesday night when the club is dead. We ask to keep your id to open a tab. We charge a 2.25 tech fee if you use a credit card. This place has gone downhill fast in a tier 2 city that used to be appealing primarily based on price.
I did love the atmosphere. Great DJ mix. Bouncers were not physically forcefull with croud control which is appreciated and how it should always be. Simple straightforward communication.
My group attempted to there for a bachelor party back in June and because one person in my group was wearing Jordan sneakers they would not allow us in which was ok because it is against their dress code, however the manager then came up to us and stated he’d let us in, overlooking the dress code violation, only if we purchased $2000.00 bottle service. When we called the manager unprofessional for such a request we were called “jersey jerkoffs” by the manager and surrounding staff. We then tried to go back the next night making sure everyone was in compliance with all dress code policies and were told we weren’t allowed in because of a person in our party calling the manager “unprofessional”. The manager refused to come speak with us and the bouncer, a tall middle eastern male was extremely rude and was extremely confrontational with our entire group. I can’t speak for the clubs ambiance and environment inside but I will say it’s staff is by far the most unprofessional I’ve ever encountered, I myself worked in the service industry for several years and was appalled by their actions. I hope no one else gets treated like this by the staff, however I’m sure people will bc I severely doubt the bottled blonde will take this review seriously. The bottled blonde continues to ignore this review and several like it that point out their inept customer service and ability to treat customers with respect.
If I could do less than one star, I would. My cousin took me here at the end of a nice night and we were having a good time. Some bouncer offered us a table, then proceeded to kick us out when someone else came that wanted it. Which would have been fine, but they kept BOTH of our IDs and my cousins credit card. We tried to get them back before leaving and they refused to give them back to us, said they didn’t have it. My cousin had to cancel his credit card and I had a flight the next day and did not have my ID. My cousin went back the next morning and they had BOTH of our IDs and his credit card right behind the bar, yet we had several bouncers refuse to help us and treat us terribly because we had been drinking. I am NEVER going back here. Consider getting new staff. They were some of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life.
This place gets 2 starts I’d go to any other of the clubs before them. They charge $25 for a mix drink and like $15 for beer smh and the security needs to be trained on their people skills. You will be standing there with your drink minding your business and if they have to pass by you they don’t say excuse me or anything they literally blind side you and full on push you out their way smh. Happened to me a few times and if you defend yourself or say something you’re in the wrong and they probably throw you out smh. Avoid this place
I haven’t been to this place in years but a group of us decided to go and it has gone downhill so much since the last time I was there. There are creepy guys everywhere and secretly filming my wife and her friends. It is not a good thing when women feel uncomfortable in your bar. Also there was a bouncer that would not leave us alone. Everywhere we sat or tried to stand he told us to move. I feel sorry for him that he uses his little ounce of power he has to ruin peoples fun afternoon. We will never be back.
In the heart of Old Towns Bar District. Always a good time
We went there in a group of 4 on a Friday night- service sucks , watered most of the drink down , we wanted to do a repeat and server said that u will get same sort of drinks . She was extremely rude, we paid $80 for 1 cocktail and 3 beers . Dnt recommend this place at all. Bottled blonde dallas is much better 👍
Club elsewhere. Aggressive bouncers constantly telling my group of friends to move when there isnt room to move. 1st floor was overpacked - know your building capacity limits. 2nd floor was actually where we could dance and have some fun. But, do keep an eye out for their automatic gratuity tip (I think, maybe, over $100). I didnt see that tacked on until the next morning.
Prepare to be disrespected no matter how much you spend. Bottle service is no. 1 for this crew - we were asked to move at least 5 times all around the bar to make room for table service. The last straw for me was when they dumped out our $20 drinks to make room for a table instead of asking us to move and giving us a chance to grab our drinks. “Someone just spent 3 grand on a bottle” was the only reason given. Our group had already spent about 1k before 10pm and they still dissed us. Don’t put your drink down here or it’s getting tossed once the sparklers start going off.
Thursday July 7 we bought bottle service. Dropped $1500+. A guy in our party was kicked out for something very petty, but we respected they kicked him out until they brought 8 security guys over, kicking him, with another’s knee on his head. After they wouldn’t allow a guy in our party back in to get his wallet. They stole his cash, wallet, but managed to keep 2 of his credit cards and 1 ID. They held it hostage until the next day at 3pm. They told him that they only found 2 credit cards and 1 ID (but not the rest of the wallet with $200 in cash, insurances, gift cards, etc). They wouldn’t let him have it until he signed for his bar tab. In fear he wouldn’t sign it as they kicked the entire party out. DO NOT COME HERE OR BUY BOTTLE SERVICE. THEY DO ANYTHING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!
Flew out to AZ from North Carolina and Came to Scottsdale to celebrate my birthday with my husband! Everyone kept recommending old town Scottsdale for a good time. However when we arrived we were denied access because my husband ( an Air Force Veteran), was wearing Jordan’s.Apparently there’s a rule that states no Timberlands or Jordan’s allowed in this establishment.I’m not sure of the logic… I would hate to assume that they are trying to restrict a certain culture from enjoying these establishments.Just for clarity his attire was a button up, cargo pants, and Nike Dunks.I can understand no streetwear, I can understand no work boots. But to specifically call out these two brands I feel like they were targeting a specific people. It sucks… hopefully this review gets the attention of someone who can make a difference. Because this kind of hurts just a little bit.
Screw this place, you can walk in with the dirtiest shoes but if you have Jordans on like I did they wont let you win. And then they said if I was wearing Timberlands I cant go in either. Racist spot. Two other spots nearby are like this too. Had a really good time 10 seconds away at El Hefe
This place is awful, like truly my personal hell. The music is so loud you can’t hear each other even when screaming, the strobe lights are aggressive, and worst of all the staff continually push you out of the way to clear paths for themselves. We were told repeatedly “you can’t stand here, you can’t stand there” and physically moved. Meanwhile they were purposely overcrowding the space so like where were we supposed to stand?! The drink prices are also insanely inflated. Absolutely awful. Save your time and money.
We came to celebrate my birthday with a group of 8 patrons and were having a great night until the bouncers here denied my sober, masked friend entry for giving him “a dirty look”. We stuck around to try to clear up the miscommunication of my friend’s apparent RBF, and were told we needed to get the f out. Complete mishandling on their part, and I’d hope these establishments reconsider their hiring requirements, maybe looking for bouncers who can protect their business respectfully & check their fragile egos at the door?
Not a place I would chose to spend $42 on two seltzers. You can go find a little bar down the street with nicer people, better music and $8 seltzer.
I went here with my cousin to have a good time. The service was horrible. I had to get someone at the bar to get our order. We order food and drinks. The boneless wing we order had blond hair, 2 strands. It was disgusting and the pizza was tasteless. The drinks were also overpriced. The only good thing about this place is the atmosphere and the music. Other than that.... I am never coming back!
If I could give one I would. My husband went there gave someone behind the bar his empty beer and $20. The guy took it and walked away my husband sat there and waited for him to come back as othersGot their drinks. Once he saw the guy comeBack he asked where his drink and money was. The guy just looked and shrugged his shoulders as if he never took the money. My husband never got his money back! Soo that’s cool. Just steal money from your customers. Definitely won’t be back.
Beware of their $16 bud lights! Call your bank and tell them this place is repeat scamming patrons and after a few people report them then they will lose all credit card privileges with visa. We reported them to the Better Business Bureau so once they look into all these reviews they will take away their liquor license. The bouncers/managers/bartenders here typically are low lifes that dropped out of high school and have gotten fired from ethical establishments (their other jobs) so this is the only place that will take them.TLDR: Go to Phoenix dt instead!
Great bar scene, good music and nice crowd! However be forewarned, if you get too tipsy here, staff has zero remorse! Borderline disturbing… saw two people escorted out and away from the building with no offer of any help, water, or even the care to ask where there friends are or if they need any help with getting a ride or anything…. Bouncers simply told them keep walking and get away from building…. Patrons went to help find friends for them… Get it from bar liability perspective but they can at least hand them a water (they clearly have spent a few dollars getting that drunk)…
Probably decent as a club but not so much if you’re looking for a pizza and beer place (as the sign advertises). Stopped in on a weeknight when it was very slow and operations were very focused on a club atmosphere with overpriced drinks and multiple bouncers while the few guests there couldn’t get service.Bartender was extremely inattentive, constantly on her phone. She couldn’t pour a beer and what we finally got was all foam. Service was so slow we eventually just left before getting food.
I met friends for drinks here 4/5 2022. The 2 ladies ordered a white claw seltzer. When I got the bill I was charged $14 for each each white claw. I thought for sure this was an error. I questioned the bartender about the charge and he said I just work here. I was clearly ripped off and will never step foot in this place again. You can buy a case of white claw for $14. Stay away unless you like being ripped off.
Was let inside on a Saturday night, bought a couple drinks and then left, an hour later I came back and they told me I couldnt come in because my shorts didnt have a belt loop which I guess I could understand, but I was let in earlier with the same shorts?! As soon as I complained and showed them my receipt that I was in their literally one hour earlier, they apologized and let me in.Then we go in and some guy offered my group shots, I moved to a spot where he couldnt see me and I noticed he was acting strange (kept looking back at my group) and I saw him sprinkle something over the drinks. I told my group what happened and they said nope lets go, when we told the security that the guy might be drugging people they just shrugged and kept moving..... scary how someone could easily get roofied at any of these old town locations and the staff does not give a single ****!
I was in bottled blonde and going to the bathroom as a female customer and all of the sudden security (men) busted down my stall door in the womens bathroom stall on me as I had my pants down as I was going to the bathroom and then they grabbed my arms and escorted me and my table of 8 out of the bar. Didn’t even let us close out our tab and my husband had to ask to go back into the bar to get our receipt after we had spent over $600 in food and drinks on a Thursday evening. We were so upset about the situation that we went back to the door after a few minutes to ask for the manager to tell him what happened and he said that is what security had to do because I was “throwing up”. Nope, just going to the bathroom, but the manager stuck by the story the security guard told him. We will never go back. I feel so bad to know that this is how that bar treats women, so please do not spend your money here. They will be hearing from my attorney in the morning.
Is this still the USA? had two drinks (makers mark and water) and the bill was $97.00 USD. (I asked why they are charging in pesos) stay clear, VERY FAR AWAY. BB is bringing a bad name to all the bars and clubs in Olde Towne. threatened to call police I said please do, I would like to talk to them. Of course they didnt and just trying to strong arm people! Wow what an experience.. would give zero if possible. Worst place ever.
This place is a SCAM operation. You give them your credit card to open a tab, order a few drinks, and then when you ask for the tab - SURPRISE - $1,500 for three bottles and mandatory tip of $500! Then they extort you to sign it to get your credit card back even though you never ordered the bottles. I ended up leaving without my card and returned the next day where we had to get the police involved to get my card and ID back.Oh, notice the pattern with the other reviews - always the same $1,500!
Worst place ever. The bouncers tried to take advantage of one of us in our group and held a valid ID for randsom. She needed that ID to get on a flight back home the next day..Manager Charlie did nothing to helps out. We were blamed that we didnt listen to the bouncers who claimed to be trying to help us out by asking for a $400 bribe. Had to get the cops involved who helped us out. Please boycott this establishment. I never give reviews and this puts a sour taste in my experience in visiting this city. Go to riot house instead. Riot house was so much fun instead and helped us live up our weekend experience.
Been kicked out the last two times I’ve been there. Have yet to be given a legit reason. Paid $26 for one 12oz bottle and was kicked out with covid being the reason in 2023 and I didn’t even cough. Idk I used to love this place but it’s gone downhill quick
Lalo is the the best bar tender hands down! Great service, makes you laugh! He’s a vibe! We weren’t having that much fun until her started serving us! Give him a raise :)
Im 30 years old and have not been to bottled blonde for years but decided to go and it was an awful experience. I was harassed by a tall white security guard (cannot miss him) for apparantly being in the way of traffic but I clearly was not. I was clearly not drunk but he thought he would harass me and let other people stand where I was without an issue. The guy had an unusual hate towards me. Maybe because I am older and more mature so he wanted to compete with me. I had the manager talk to him so at least the manager was nice. But I doubt it really made any difference. What a joke.
I usually don’t post reviews on Google unless I like a place, but I just have to for here. THIS IS THE WORST CLUB I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. My brother, some friends, and I went a while back and it was a disaster. First, the music is terrible. Whenever picked it was perhaps new to the job, but he or she did not create a good vibe. Also, the staff’s service is inconsistent. Some people were fine, but most, especially the bartender, were horrible. One of the bartenders spilled my brother’s drink, re-made it, and then tried to double-charge him for it. That was just one of the ridiculous things that happened here. The management needs to step up and do a better job, because this is a less than run-of-the-mill club that nobody should go to. Better options anywhere else in Scottsdale.
My friends and I come to this bar all the time; however, this night changed my option entirely. My friend was just standing by the bar and a security guard came up behind her and pushed her to get either a straw or napkin behind her. The worker, at least twice her size, yelled at her for pushing him. When my friends and I told him that he was the one to push her, the security guard said get these wh*res out of here. It was so rude and uncalled for, I will never come to this bar again.
This is a good place to go if youre looking to heavily drink. Otherwise, I wouldnt recommend. It is always very crowded and the drinks are pricey. Loud music is playing at all times, to the point that you have to yell to engage in conversation. They even have music playing when big football games are on, etc. It is fun every once in awhile, but like I said this is not the place to go if you want to sit down and have a chill time.
Horrible. We had a table (paid $100) and our friend went to the bar and they made us leave...even tho I told them we paid for a table and our friend was at the bar and would be able to find us ...they said they didnt care about our friend were his exact words....all about the money. Rude.
Very caring staff! The DJ is tops❣️
Music is pretty whack. It’s overcrowded with bottle service tables for no reason. Bartenders are pretty fast though. They don’t dance at all so I wouldn’t go unless yours into standing around yelling over music and sippin.
As a veteran just returning from down range and deciding to visit Old Town Scottsdale I visit this location and I understand that their are dress codes but to be told that I cant wear camo jeans because they are hunting clothes is absurd. After expressing to the door greeter that I do not hunt and camo does is does not mean that I hunt ect and showed my military ID just to be insulted and be told that the military hunts and kills people is beyond disrespectful to anybody who has worn the uniform that protects such ignorant freedom of speech. I will definitely be talking to local military installations to see that military personnel doesnt patron these types of establishments until their policies & practices are reevaluated. If you are the club owner/manager it was the gentleman that was working the door in a flannel on Nov 12, 2022
Thr prices now are on par with Vegas, if not more excessive. $60 for a bucket of 5 Coors Lights!?!? Are you kidding me!?!? I think my RBV was about $18. WAY cheaper places in Scottsdale to drink and enjoy a game, that are just as fun, or even more fun. I wont be going again.
Went here for my cousins bachelor party and it was a blast. We got bottle service and our waitress Marisa was great. Our section got messy but she kept it clean and the security kept people away. The bar was packed after ten and the line was out the door. The other bars in the area were dead compared to BB. Some of the complaints of the bar on here are comical. You can tell by the crowds this place is the real deal.
The bouncer didn’t allow my group in because someone in our group was wearing Air Force 1s. I guess Jordan’s and AF1s arent allowed at this place but nowhere on the website does it explain that as part of the dress code. The bouncer also said he would let us in for cash on the side. We ended up at the place across the street.
This place gets one star for the amount of TV screens. Forget the rest! The size of the servings is smaller than appetizers in other restaurants. The waitresses may be cute, but have no clue what they are doing. We have been there today for lunch. The place wasnt busy and it took the waitress about half an hour to get us the drinks and take our order. We have been there for one and a half hour for lunch. They also take your credit card hostage. Which means they collect your credit card when you order your food. You never know what they are doing with them while you wait for your food and eat.
The organization has a problem with my sneakers AF1...and is highly discriminatory with that sneaker but everybody wears Chuck Taylor, and skateboard sneakers... Yeezy...check I seen a lot of gym shoes walk past me to go in ...but I have a very big shoe size and cant find shoes easy to fit their measurements. Tough when you are left behind with your friends and no one wants to go in because of a racist rule
Kicked out after telling bouncers I was grabbed by the same strange guy 6 times. Yes he got booted too but all I was doing was dancing and they took me out too. Not cool.
A happy dad seltzer is $21, either the bartender is skimming money on each order or this is outrageous pricing. Went July 7th Friday for reference
The food and drinks were overpriced I literally spent over $100 on three mimosas and a set of chicken sliders I cant make this up I dont think Ill ever go back thats just me but enjoy yourself
Careful of tipping here. This bar auto-grats already extremely overpriced drinks… No menus present, no stating of the charge. Sketchy business.
3 is being generous. Better than a 2, less than a 3. Still no follow up from management as to why I bought 2 tickets for NYE when people weren’t being charged after 9 and No one was charged that was inside before 9 either, clear communication on the website to purchase tickets would be helpful. Bouncers that don’t hate their jobs would be even better.
WARNING they are an establishment that racially profiles! If I could give them a 0 I would. We came for ladies night on Thursday March 5th - we got in fine, we were having a good time but then later in the night, one of the girls in our group and me got kicked out for NO reason. We came out of the restrooms and the security/bouncer person grabbed our hands and said we had to leave and escorted us out. We were here with a group of girls and we were not causing any problems. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Go to any other places in Old Town, they are all great and we didnt experience this anywhere else for the entire weekend.
Same music mix every night and every single weekend. I won’t go out for months and come back and hear the same exact stuff.Just like any other bar in old town, old and out of date and tired. The music
Ladies Night Thursday! From the door to the front of the floor it was a phenomenal experience. I was treated very well as a guest and the service was surprisingly prompt. Ι love the environment and vibe. Definitely going to be a frequent stop for me. 🍻🍾
Despite warnings, we went to this establishment. After telling three different ladies who aggressively pursued our group to buy a $2000 table that we will take our chances in the regular Joe line (best choice), we watched bouncer after bouncer exercise their roided out options for two hours before our own friend became a target of their aggression for no reason. I will never go back to this bar.
Horrible. Not only are the drinks absurdly priced, the bartenders add 30% gratuity without asking then still ask you to add an additional tip.Too many good spots nearby to go to this place
The food is excellent. The people are nice. But, the service can be a little slow since it is almost always packed every day of the week. I dropped a star because the music is so loud that it is hard to talk. This is really only slightly annoying when trying to order because it is hard to yell through the music to get your order to the bartenders and servers.
The most overpriced establishment of any sort Ive ever been to.
Its ok.. busy and a bunch of young kids. Honestly you can walk into anyone of the bars down there and be just as happy they are all cookie cutter. Bartenders are 3 out of 5 some of those other bars will be 1 or 2 out of 5 for bartenders. Mostly because bartenders here communicate well, most other bars in area have trouble counting change.
Paid $64 for two poorly made amf’s. they weren’t even mixed right either. it was 3/4 water and 1/4 Smirnoff. maybe they could take some lessons on how to make drinks.
Waited in line for about 30 mins (not bad) ordered our drinks (3 drinks) and was talking with my group at our table when a bouncer came up and said I have to be fully seated (can’t stand in front of my chair) I explained my back condition and he said sorry all cool. Then another bouncer came up asked the same I explained to him as well and he said, “ I don’t care about your fake back condition, sit or get out.” I again try to explain I can’t and he physically pushed my girlfriend and I out. Waited longer outside.
Came here for part of a bachelor party weekend. 20 of us ordered bottle service. Staff took care of us pretty well and served drinks at the booth. Only complaint is the server asking for a tip before we were ready to leave, and then suggesting more. We would have gave her way more if she relaxed and waited until the end.
The place was full and the cover fee was $100 per guy, but that didn’t matter because after waiting in line 2 hours we were turned down because they were closing the doors for the night. Worst club experience I’ve ever had and would not recommend this place for the life of me. Besides the music that they were playing wasn’t even good and that’s what makes a club experience as well! Save your money and STAY AWAY!!!
At the moment I currently work here as of Sunday May 16th, 2021. This is the best job Ive ever had, the music, the food, the amazing people and the money being thrown every weekend (if you know you know). Got to see it to believe it! Best bar in Arizona easily, fun for any event you are celebrating.
The Bottled Blonde is such a great experience! This place is The Ohio State University/Buckeye place to be for all of the games. My family/friends go every year. Booths can be reserved as well.
This place is a rip off. Called to get a quote on bottle service two different times and got two different prices. Went to the place and talked to the girl outside and got another price. One guy told me it was a 6 bottle minimum! 6 bottles for 6 guys!? If I had that much hard alcohol i would die! This place should be shut down for attempted murder! Sounds like everyone is trying to hustle you. Felt like I was in Mexico. After turning down bottle service we decided to just wait in line and go in. We all got in except the last guy who was told he cant enter because he was wearing Timberland work boots. I wouldnt call $300 black suede shoes work boots but ok. The clown at the door, wearing yoga pants, was letting dudes in with vans and sandals but he wont let a guy in with shoes worth more than his whole outfit? Hate to call it a racist move but he did single out the Lebanese guy. After we questioned him, he told he would let us in if we bought bottle service. Scam! Read through the reviews on here. Not hard to see the pattern here.
Would give this spot less than one star if possible. $60 (not including tip) for three beers, only to have two sips before getting body-slammed by the barback and hassled by the bouncers. Do not recommend.
Friendly staff. The food was good. Drink prices were in line with the rest of the Old Town bar prices. Went the day after NYE and had a DJ. Really good music and a great place to watch Cornhuskers games. A place to recommend in Old Town.
First club experience post-COVID and it satisfied every desire. Its on a block in Old Town with a couple of clubs nearby. Our group of bachelorettes (yes, we were those women lol) were recommended Bottled Blonde so we chose this one out of the four clubs in the area. No cover, easy entry, got there around 10:00 pm (lol thats pretty early) and stayed the whole night. We got a table and just stuck to that area. The DJ was awesome, the bartenders were attentive, all of the excitement kept you going. There wasnt a dull moment in the club which is what you want. You want high energy everything and dont want to feel exhaustion until your home! Bottled Blonde definitely surpassed my expectations and Im so pumped to go back sometime soon!
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They do not allow anyone wearing “Jordans or SB’s” according to the door guy. This place could be considered racially profiling. They allowed plenty of people in wearing regular sneakers or vans. But do not allow anyone wearing $400 sneakers in. Do not pay your money to enter.
If youre looking for a weekend dance and mingle bar with very high volumes of people, this is one of the best places to be in Old Town Scottsdale. One of the problems is with the bar layout though. There are several different choke points in the walkways and the bouncers are constantly asking people to move on or moving them along. It can make for an uncomfortable experience, as its difficult to find an open space to talk and meet people. The drink prices are okay, and nothing special. This isnt the type of place you go to if youre looking for real cocktails though or alcohols of quality. The decor is average itself and doesnt have a centralized theme. Youll find the usual antics going on that other bars have like shot girls running around and other employee staged acts to keep the party going.Theres a lot of choices in Old Town, you might not want this to be your number one.
Security gets super personal about things. Friend tried to make small talk with one and ended up getting escorted out. Management was understanding of the situation but did nothing about it because he had been drinking.I would not recommend going here if you do not have the large sum of money to spend on their drinks or have any type of personality when drinking.
Unless you are a man or a white woman, you will mostly be ignored by the servers.Sat at the bar with a friend and the 3 bartenders walked by multiple times ignoring my friend and I. A 4th bartender (who I only saw this one time) came to serve us. There was one main bartender who did not acknowledge us the entire hour + we sat at the bar. Meanwhile speaking to everyone around us.Overpriced drinks. Rude, inattentive, and snotty bartenders. Specifically to black women.
We had a fun night here, drinks and dancing. Drinks we good, not amazing (Im used to San Fran style cocktails.). I ordered the Asparagus app, since I desperately needed some veggies this night, and it was pretty average. The DJ both nights we went was good. I liked the mix. over all 3stars, but we had a tun of fun.
Truly the worst of society. Conceited, self absorbed, and just grimy. Bouncers & mgmt are on a 24/7 power trip and don’t deserve a penny of your money. Go somewhere else.
Bottled Blonde condones violence towards women. My friend was pushed by a male figure much larger than her and then when she said something, she was escorted out by security. Security is meant to PROTECT YOU. WHERE WAS THE PROTECTION?? Not okay. Im honestly appalled and as a women, I would NEVER recommend. Also the vulgar language used by security towards her... totally inappropriate. 0/10. As a woman I felt unsafe and honestly violated.
This place is shady!!! We literally were told we had to give up our table because we werent ordering food anymore. We went there last night to watch the UFC fight. The main fight hadnt even started yet but our group of 4 had already been there for 3 hours. During that 3 hours we ordered a couple pizzas and an appetizer, I had 3 premium draft beer, my husband had a vodka drink, the couple we were with had 5 premium draft beers between the two of them. I would say we ordered the average amount of food and drinks for hanging at a bar to watch the fight. Anyways, we had a girl that worked at the bar come over and tell us that if we werent going to order anymore food we had to close our tab and give up our table. Not wanting to make a scene we just paid our tab and left. On the way out I was waiting for my husband and happened to stand next to 2 managers that were looking over the seating chart and said if the table isnt ordering, get them out of here.... we need to turn over the table. This is just rude, I wont be going back and I would suggest if you want to relax and watch a game or a fight, dont bother either.
Customer service could of been a bit better. Had to ask for water several times before getting it. Also ordered a Cherry Vodka and Redbull and that is not the drink I received, but didnt complain becuase it was good. Ordered a second drink the same as the first and it was terrible tasting. The DJ was great.
Decent bar other than the bald bouncer at the entrance. He made a racist remark towards me, as a black male, as well as my black girlfriend. I have no doubt that this kind of attitude turns many customers away. Will not return and will advise others to do the same.
Place is gross. Management incredibly unprofessional. Let in a small group of people, made us pay for drinks, then forced us to leave after 10 minutes because they wanted to fill our seats with bottle service customers. Don’t seat us, charge us, then make us leave all within 10 minutes. Drinks were garbage, DONT GO HERE
Super cool set up. Went on Thursday night got a couch, it was great. Went back Saturday and was not prepared for the 1000s in the crowd. Big party area, so in a non-covid time, it would definitely be fun but due to covid I left and didnt go in.
There are racial issues in Scottsdale but Bottled Blonde takes the cake as being upmost racist. They up charge drinks that are predominantly requested by Black people to a ridiculous limit. Yes. Scottsdales bar are more expensive. But to charge $50 for a shot of Hennessy is absurd. There was a huge disparity with the way they treated the small number of Black patrons compared to their white counterparts. Not only that but the service was terrible and the bartenders were rude. There are other more enjoyable bars in Old Town without the side of racism on the rocks.
Went with a large group 2 members of the group have disabilities and were thrown out because of it. The security team needs to be able to tell the difference of someone with a disability verse someone who is over intoxicated.
When someone asks me my most defining moment of my life, without hesitation, I proudly proclaim bottled blonde whilst the beat was dropping. A surreal and perfect mix of beautiful people and phenomenal music paired with captivating music videos made this destination a euphoric experience.I feel both humbled and grateful to have had a few late nights here with close friends. Don’t change anything. Keep inspiring others to live out their dreams.
I went here with my wife and a few couples this weekend for my birthday and was not let in cause I have a neck tattoo and I was wearing Nike’s. It’s was only like 2:00 in the afternoon and we have been here before but will never go back especially to Scottsdale because all these bars are racist
I went into bottled blonde and most of the women had all of their dark roots growing back. They need another bottle.I have a party bus and I take people there all the time. I have never heard a single complaint
These people bend you over and push it up your tailpipe. 20 bucks a beer with an auto gratuity? Whoever owns this place can walk directly into a wood chipper
No chairs after 9:30… just golfed 36 with the boys, cannot stand on my feet
ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I have been coming to what is called Sunday Funday for over a year and NEVER had a bad experience. I had gone out with some friends this past Sunday. We were in the walk way and were told to move, and respectfully we did. A few minutes later one of my friends was in the walk way, we had only been there for about 10 minutes and were told to LEAVE. When walking out, a tall security guard literally PUSHED my friend down to the ground as he was walking. This caused my friends elbow to open up & bleed (the meat of his elbow was showing), of course got upset, my friends brother defended & asked what that was for and that SAME SECURITY GUARD SHOVED MY FRIENDS BROTHER AGAINST THE WALL. The security guard was big so we felt timid to even to anything, so we left, as my friend was assaulted and bleeding. Management needs to change this, correct this and make sure this doesnt happen to ANYONE ELSE in the future. Im sad, heart broken, hurt and disappointed, but I will NEVER return to Bottled Blonde in Scottsdale AGAIN.
Terrible experience having a drink and food and security pulled our table no explanation. Waitress was nice said they set up for the evening- it was 9:30... Asked to talk to GM who was rude, and told me he gave me 25% off my glass of wine. Wow Scottsdale night screen at its worst Lots of other places to go in Scottsdale that treat customers good. I wont be back!
My black friend wasn’t allowed in for wearing Jordan’s. This wasn’t about wearing sneakers, people with Nikes are allowed in. Definitely a racist policy to make sure they keep specific groups from getting in.
The place has good food, gorgeous waitresses, and good music to dance to. It would be an even greater experience if it werent for the stupid tennis shoes rule. Its not that tennis shoes arent allowed. They only ban the brands frequently worn by certain types of people. So, if you love the Jordan brand of shoe, you will be turned away. Its actually quite humiliating because you know why this rule is in place and its underlying meaning. You see people wearing tennis shoes and having fun, but youre standing on the outside because certain people frequently wear Jordans and they dont want people who wear Jordans in this establishment.
This was another one of those bars in the downtown Scottsdale that was banging. Its a fun night out on about any night of the week. Expect to go bar hopping when you go. When you get done there is a little street taco place at the end of the street. Find it to finish your night out.
Avoid this place at all costs! I was there this past Saturday and was assaulted by the security guards because they wanted me to leave. They doubled my cover at the door for no reason and when I gave them a hard time about it I was aggressively thrown to the concrete and restrained by 3 to 4 guys. They even lied to the cops and said that I threw a punch. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Had a corner table with 10 people with drinks and food, was alot of money, then when I was standing at the bar a security guard came and escorted me out because he said I was too drunk, which was not even close to being accurate. Then the other security guards wouldnt let me back in. I had to talk to the head of security to get back in, which he was a cool guy, he said obviously I was not drunk and he didnt know why I was kicked out and he went to find the guard who escorted me out. Just a ridiculous situation when you pay for a table and everything and get singled out for nothing.
Security are forceful and all in your space like hall monitors, can’t even relax. Expensive and a clear rip off of an establishment. Go elsewhere.
Visited twice on my trip to AZ. Really nice people that work the bar. Bouncers are a little too pushy moving back and forth all night. One bouncer had the worst body odor I ever smelt. He kept on rubbing on every one. I give it 5 stars due to the fact that the bouncer managed to keep his job smelling as bad as he did. He must be so excellent at his job, that his employer overlooks his heinous stench. Fun place.
$26 for a makers soda as management decided to double prices over the weekend. Great weekend pricing strategy to make sure well never come back to your bar again.
Worst management Ive ever met. They dont let Jordans in.. Went back to the hotel to change. Then they kicked us out because the security guard was upset and said we pushed him. Absolute lie... I was driving and stone sober. Dont go here unless you want to be profiled
We tipped the bartender cash and she said that we didn’t. ( even tho we bought other drinks and tipped her in card) So she refused to help us and threaten us to kick us ou t.I Didn’t cared because that’s a reason I don’t go Scottsdale …… soooo don’t be surprised when you don’t tip….
The bars in this area seem to come and go every few years. This place has stood the test of time. It has a vibrant patio scene going on. It will beacon you with its iconic pin up girl style blonde sign. This place is located in a wild an bar hoppy area in Scottsdale.
This is criminal and I’m going to sue them. They charged me 30k for two people to drink. Can’t wait to come after them and the manager.
Over crowded, no cover, insanely high drink prices ($12 wells?), rude staff. No dance foor, constant pushing. Music is too loud to meet anyone or talk with friends. Maybe they should just stick with pizza. Visited on a Friday night.
The security guard bodied me with his elbow at 12 am may 1 and I’m a 5’2 105 pound female. I was trying to tell my friend that we should leave because they wouldn’t let our group in because someone was wearing Air Force 1’s. Never again.
After one week of having fun in the States we noticed that we were overcharged by 100% because we are foreigners!!! Paying 30 dollars for 3 beers is way too much! If you dont have that American accent dont go there because you will be bottle necked!!!
The staff will bully you and push you around for no reason
Halloween day… crazy costumes everywhere. Bare bottoms, T bars, drunk people in mass and yet they wont let us in because our friend has camo shorts on. Yup, camo cargo shorts. They have to uphold a dress code they say. Wow. It’s Halloween… Everyone else getting the pass to dress however they want but dare you wear a sport T with camo shorts on game day. Get a clue! Bouncers there don’t have the capacity or brains to reason and make decisions based on common sense.
