Ive been going here for years and it is a hometown treasure. There is always a great story being told or a memory being made. Love this place. If I want to smoke a good cigar or listen to some good music

502 continues to be a staple in the Bronzeville neighborhood with quality customer service and inexpensive drinks. My family has hosted many parties at Garfields over the years, and we keep coming back. Go see Tiffany, Jewell, and staff, and order the chicken wings.

Always a good time and good food at Garfield 502 definite stop when were in town! Monday night step class was rocking! Old school all night! Loved it!

We arrived around 11:30pm. I didnt order any food. The drinks were on point (thanks Tiffany-bartender). The music was ok (old school R&B).

502 is a nice place to hang out at before 10 p.m. The crowd changes to a less mature crowd along with the music. It takes too long to be served at the bar and kitchen. They could also use some waitstaff. Overall, okay, but go with patience.

I thought this was an upscale venue. I do not like drinking from a plastic cup after paying $26 for 1 drink. The young lady who served me was very nice. The gentleman was upset because I asked for a glass to serve the bride a drink. Where is the elegance in this establishment. I had no food nor comment.

Always a favorite. Older crowd, intelligent conversations. Good food and service. A gathering place in low key hours and a semi-upscale nightclub on bar nights. When the mood hits, its my first pick.

Young lady changed the price@ check out. She knew my order was up and she pretended to act like it wasnt there. Food was barely hot!

Perfection,This place is very much a favorite. Great vibe, wonderful crowd, solid menu, and theres always good music playing.Love the summers outdoor shows and the indoor shows are beyond incredible. Crazy awesome establishment was there for a private party but the bar itself was cracking plenty of beautiful women and the men are well-behaved. I didnt see not one outburst the doormen were very gentleman like didnt treat me as an outsider even though it was my first time there I felt very comfortable the bartenders were very nice even bought me a drink or two, of course you got to know how to tip too! you cant go into an establishment thinking youre going to get free rounds from your bartender and you only gave them $1.50 in 4 out of 5 hours youve been there. But from the looks of the place and the people that were there it didnt seem like there were too many people like that anyway! The prices were considerable and the drinks were not watered down by any means. I dont smoke but I believe they had a nice smoking deck outside. And the sound system was bumping. I believe its black owned and operated, and is more of a mature crowd, a gentlemans bar if you will, I would definitely go back. S.Guerrero (Taco)

Them Wangs was hitting... even my kids gobbled theirs down.... it was hot and fresh for a long time and stayed crispy...keep it up 502s!

Used to be one of the meeting places for drinks and food within the Brewers Hill area. My Three Sons and I met there to begin our weekend together they were visiting from Georgia and Oklahoma.

I always come in to order the catfish & it’s never any thawed out. Becoming highly disappointed because I would like to support this establishment & experience what it has to offer.The space is large, there’s vast seating, and fully stocked bar but if I can’t grab some food while I drink it’s pointless.

Good food but always bad service. ALWAYS. Ive tried them 4-5 times over the years (pre and post Covid) and its always the same UNLESS Im with a regular. Apparently, thats the only way ur getting any service at this place without an hour wait or a funky attitude.

I came off a friends recommendation and I must say from the food to the bartender to the customer friendly service and atmosphere all is amazingWould come again next time I’m here.

They need bartenders and waitresses. Other then that its a great bar to visit.
