As a super regular customer at this establishment for the past 21 YEARS since 2003, I can honestly say that this USED to be the finest Gentlemans club in town... and remained so for many years.However, now today in April 2024, I walked out and vowed to NEVER return to what has now become a truly classless dump!! I brought a friend and brand new customer who had never been here to Deja Vu before in with me last night on Sat. Apr. 13th 2024. I was shocked to see so few available dancers on a Saturday night, and also so few male customers!!Soon I learned precisely why this was the case.The few girls who were actually there as dancers were all so rude and standoff-ish!! My friend asked one girl her stage name politely and she scoffed and walked away like a spoiled little diva! Then another girl approached me and said shed heard about me complaining about the PISS POOR attitude of the dancers, and she actually slapped me in the face!! To be fair the slap was not hard or assaultive, but it was definitely done towards me with brattiness, attitude, spite and disrespect over my valid complaints about poor customer service by the dancers. When I complained to the longtime manager Mike, he blew me off and told me it was my fault and I should quit shouting. He tried to shush me and wasnt even willing to hear what all had actually happened to my friend and I here tonight and what I had to say.Well I WAS NOT shouting AT ALL... I was speaking in a normal tone of voice as a legitimately frustrated super long-term customer whose been lining the club workers pockets for the past 21 YEARS with buying the clubs most expensive dances for $300 for 30 mins and $600 for an hour!!!!!!!This club has absolutely deteriorated and gone down the toilet, especially over the past six months. Back in the day, the dancers were classy and made an effort to make you feel welcomed as a paying customer where both the club cover and the various level dances are ALL EXPENSIVE. Nowadays, most of the lazy dancers just sit on their phones, read books, stare at you aimlessly and then walk off with their noses in the air. Even worse, the dang manager has the gall to cop an attitude rather than to hear a MOST VALUED LONGTIME CUSTOMER out and actually try to improve his dwindling business. I will now be taking my extremely valuable business to other Minneapolis clubs such as the Spearmint Rhino, Ricks Cabaret and the Seville, and literally any others I can find on Google which truly cater to meeting the recreational needs of us Gentlemen on a much needed night out.So long Dejavu and manager Mike. You aint the only game in town and if youre gonna piss on your MOST VALUED LONGTERM HIGH PAYING CUSTOMERS who have literally been bringing in TONS of money for DECADES... then its no wonder your club was so damn empty on a Saturday night!!!

I came in early and no one was there but the first girl that came in had all my attention and money. The beautiful miss Kitty took good care of me❤️😩 Will definitely come back just for her😍

Go to anywhere else instead if you are a dancer and a customer. Manager Mike overcharges girls, starts drama and you will make money but not worth your safety and constant harassment from management and customers. Go elsewhere. Only fun for big parties.

If I could go to the negatives for this place, I would without hesitation. Firstly, $10 entrance fee plus $13 drink fee is ridiculous. Secondly, the unwelcoming atmosphere was so thick I could cut it with a butter knife; the doorman was decent but the bartender was completely disrespectful; I dont ever recall a culture in America where my change is thrown at me. If the owner and manager really consider themselves being in an adult entertainment business, they really need to reevaluate the people they hire. I genuinely expected very few girls working on a Wednesday night, I was fine with that, but I dont see this place ever being more than a rip-off. It seems all of the budget went into the interior design, it looks beautiful, but Id rather go to a hole in a wall than ever come here again.

Kinda sad one girl there is pushy asking me to up stairs for a private dance. I say no a few minutes later she ask again I say no. She ask again the 3rd time I says ok. But after I spend 300 dollars on a half-hour dance she still demanded me to tips her. I gave her 20 and says that I didnt give enough. Omg girl like this dont belong in a place like this pushy and demanding. I will tip more but the dance was boring waste of 300 dollars

Very nice place. Yes, there’s a cover charge ($10) and you have to buy a drink ($12) but it’s a non-alcohol place & refills are free. The dancers are very nice, the dances are reasonably priced. Annabelle is a sweetie with awesome skin art & piercings, Tawny is a wonderful bundle of energy. Definitely repeat!

Went on Friday and Saturday night--find IVORY. She is the one with an incredible smile. You cant miss her! I had a great time here overall. The bouncers were helpful. The servers werent pushy. The women were all respectful and friendly. Again, look for IVORY. She made my rather boring night into a memorable one.

Regular patron over the course of several years, spending generously on private dances. But the last time I came, I was enjoying my drinks on the sidelines for a short while and waiting to see what new dancers theyd have since I was bored of all the same old, same old. I paid for a dance upstairs, and the lady acted completely out of line, accidentally kneeing my groin and bouncing hard on me. All the staff were extremely unwelcoming, as if they had some pep talk about me to shoo me out. I dont know how they didnt remember my unique memorable self (not a basic cookie cutter looking guy) and all the money Ive spent here. I totally get it how theyd want to keep out freeloaders, but they need to remember who has helped support them over the years. They were incredibly short-sighted to act the way they did to me despite all the money spent here, and have chosen to never visit or spend a dime here or any Deja Vu ever again!

Horrible experience. Management let me in the door when I was obviously drunk, I though it was fine. I paid and everything, then they kick me out right after I get my pop. Wouldnt even give me a dam refund. I was in there for 5 minutes that is not worth it at all for 25$. Horrible business, dont go here they take your money and then kick you out. I wasnt even bothering anyone either. Im never going here again and telling everyone I know not to go here

Definitely dont short themselves of any profit. Charge you first at the door and then 12$ for a cup for soda? Come on! Really? I told him I wasnt thirsty and he said doesnt matter you have to buy the cup anyways. So I paid 12$ for soda I didnt even drink. Some of the girls are great. Some are the complete opposite. Had a dancer ask me if I had any blow during a dance... come on, really? The whole setup overall is nice but the whole overpriced factors of everything is what killed it. Girls give great dances but sure get angry when you turn them down. Taylor started ripping me a new one when I said I wasnt interested in dancing. And then went on to make snarky remarks such as oh I see how it is puto as I was getting a dance from a different girl. Free hotdogs make you sick to your stomach. Made the 3 hour trip over from Wisconsin with high Hopes. Was greatly let down

Been coming here for over a decade. And this place seems to have the best girls they are a blast!!! Place was hopping on a Saturday night! Kind of pushy for VIP dances and asking for tips, but not going to knock a star for that. This place really is fast paced and high energy, if you want to go see the best of the best you come here!

Passing through the city, I had my first club experience here on a Saturday night. A girl named Charlie gave a superb dance that was far beyond what I couldve imagined and she was welcoming and kind too as well as beautiful. The interior is clean and well lit, good clients that I saw, and everyone treated me well here.Sadly I couldnt stay long that night, but I hope to stop by again before I leave Minneapolis.

First time ever at a club and may I say the ladies here are phenomenal! There is a good variety of looks, styles, personalities, and body types that there is something for everyone. Came with a group of friends and Kiki, Ginger, Olivia, Sativa and her on-stage dance partner (sadly forgot her name) made our night! I personally had dances from Kiki and Ginger and highly recommend them!

Just straight up disrespectful. Might be the most ratchet set of women. Worst strip club in MN. Everyone who works there is a disrespectful piece of garbage. I bought 3 dances and 5-6 drinks and after I stopped and sat around sipping a beer for 20 minutes they asked me to leave because I was just sitting there not wanting business. Ridiculous. My very first strip club experience was here 10 years ago. Ive had such a good experience since the first, Ive made return trips to this place at least once a year either by myself or with friends. Things were great up until tonight; Im never going to step foot into this establishment or any other of their other locations. Three of us went into the entrance expecting to use a free cover promo--only one had it pulled up on his phone also expecting it sufficient to cover everyone--then the door bouncer decided to get an attitude and would not honor it since only one person had it pulled up. He also wasnt going to stand around and wait for us to pull them up individually and were told to either pay or leave. Absolute garbage customer service; the last time we came in with the free cover promo, we were all waved in without having to pull out the promo individually. Of course I wanted to leave but the new guy in our group insisted we go in since he hasnt seen the place yet. We go in, pay another $12 for non-alcoholic drinks (used to be $10), and what do we see? The 1st floor stage completely filled to the brim with customers; customers literally sat behind each other just to get a close up. Why they didnt open the 2nd stage baffles me. Despite this, customers were being generous with tips but the DJ was rushing dancers off the stage. You could see each dancer frantically crawl up to each customer and work for her tip but the DJ kept hounding them to leave the stage. We left an hour into it and went to Downtown Cabaret. Talked to some of the dancers that used to work for Deja Vu and heres the shocker, they left because they were being stiffed on compensation. This place used to be roomier with an atmosphere where you could just relax, now its nothing more than a figment of what it used to be. So sad, I had good memories of this place. At this point, Id highly recommend the numerous other clubs within the area.

I was in Minneapolis for a conference and i went to Deja Vu on a Wednesday night. we took the blue rail line into the city. it was great. were there any 9 or 10s? no, but there were 15 fun 7 & 8s. id take that any day. Roxy was a great dancer with a smile. no problem with no alcohol for sale, because there were NAKED girls dancing and grinding and being fun. had a few lap dances that were the best. the only complaint? there was one blond that must have had a baby recently and had a great big hernia sticking out of her gut like something from alien. just avoid the full figured blond. only saw 2 sets of fake boobs, and they were both a good job. would i go again. in a heartbeat!!

Management and staff is honestly the worst. Walking in, youre greeted by a door guy with a poor attitude and a high cover and drink charge. $20 to get in off the bat. The bartender ignores you and treats you like youre an inconvience when you come up for a refill or change and wont end his conversation or put his phone down to help you. The tip rail gets overcrowded with people that dont tip and management does nothing to fix the issue. They also dont regulate the floor when no one seems to be getting dances. Clearly theres an issue that doesnt seem to get addressed. The girls walk around with a chip on their shoulders and I cant blame them. They put up with bad customers & bad management who rip them off and disrespect them (I saw the way they talk down to the girls). You can tell the managers dont care about them or anything else as the carpet is bunched up in a few places making it easy for the girls and customers alike to trip. Overall a bad experience. I dont even know how this place remains open. The staff is bad, the managers dont actually do their job and after talking to the girls, you can figure out who the dirty ones are, the ones who give you the happy ending. Shut this place down once and for all. I dont recommend this place to anyone; not even my worst enemy or Hitler himself.

Ive been to The Choice and now Deja Vu. let me say this, i wont be going back to the choice. At the choice is $16 to get in and dances are $20 for like 2, maybe 3 minutes. At Deja Vu we got in free as long as we purchased a $12 drink (still cheaper) and dance were $30 but they went for more like 5-6 minutes. Always a girl on stage too. BeeBee was awsome, cute, funny and sweet. I will definitely return and find beebee for another dance

I went to DreamGirls and had a lot of fun there so I thought Id check out Deju because of the hype. Cost me and my wife $40 to get in. Thought it was nice how they were serving free hot dogs. However, I hated how it was so busy that there wasnt a spot open by the stage. Most of the strippers seem like they dont even wanna be there. One gave me an attitude because she needed me to get out of the way so she can get by where I was sitting. I wouldve paid for a lap dance, but the attitude and so-so looking girls werent worth my money. First and last time Im going here. Ill just go back to dream girls, where I get respect and I give back respect to the friendly ladies there.

This place is s Major let down. 2.5 minute lap dances for $20. The girls push you to go to the vip floor and charge you $300 for 30 minutes it basically a lap dance. $600 for an hour lap dance. No booze and $12 for all you can drink soda On the other hand the staff is very friendly and has a tough job keeping an eye on the girls. Like herding cats

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced ! First time ever being in the place and I get kicked out in 30 seconds no joke! Congrats to the bar tender that kicked me out for litterally asking what the difference in price between the bottled water and the tap water is! It was a legit question at $12 a water I think anyone in their right mind would ask. But for real kicking someone out for asking a question ??? I had 5 people with me we all paid to get in. I will never be returning dont waste your time or your money at this place its a joke!

This has to be the WORST strip club ever. $10 to get in and a MANDATORY $13 drink fee for water/pop ($22 if you use a card) and $18 for an energy ($27 if you use a card) drink. The ATM charges you $10 plus whatever your bank charges you. I wasnt even mad about the money though. The bartender was EXTREMELY RUDE! He made my whole experience trash here.

The doormen need to work in customer service or get on the job training and learn how to represent a place of business and its image with a good attitude before working here. People who want to go to club and spend money wont go to a place if the moment they walk in the door are treated rudely. Nor will they tell there friends and family to go there. Get enough bad reviews and the neighborhood will have a bad taste on the establishment and its reputation will crash. I was a bouncer and did security for 10 years and if you treat people with kindness and respect, not only will they listen to you when their wrong or when told to do something, but they will return and continue to come back. Its like in the movie Road house, just be nice! And people will continue to come back and spend money here.Until the bouncers/managers learn this, their future and growth will be slow and people will go elsewhere.

Update 02-23-2019:Last night my friend and I decided to go out to the Vu since it was my first weekend off in months. Two of the girls there made my night out so much better, BeeBee and Ivory. These two not only are very gorgeous, but they have such a fun personalities. As I have said in a previous review for BeeBee, she has an incredible energy about her that makes visiting the Vu so much better. Any time I go to the Vu I make it a point that I spend as much time as I can with her. As for Ivory she has a very wild/fun personality that you want to spend time with her. Now together these two are an amazing combo. They both make the Vu a fun place. The Vu is not the same without these two there.First let me say, I do not frequent strip clubs often, but recently a friend and I decided to give Deja Vu a first attempt. However, thanks to a very particular dancer, BeeBee, I feel like I need to make a review. While at this establishment we were both pleasantly surprised by how many beautiful ladies there were preforming. While most of the ladies were very friendly there was a wide range of attitudes and personalities between them all. However, there was one amongst them that stood out and it was BeeBee. She is not only a very attractive individual, but her personality and energy are why she stood out to me the most. My friend and I spent around 6 hours here and a majority of the time we spent that up front at the stage. I quickly noticed that most of the ladies would go on stage to preform, but there crowed in front did not really respond and seemed mild at best. However, once BeeBee got on stage it felt like a complete shift in energy happened and the crowed started to really react positively for her. When she was on stage it was the most energized I saw the crowed all night. It was after this that I decided to spend some time with her and it was money very well spent. If you ever decided to come to this club I would highly recommend you save some money specifically for her. With the amount of energy and enthusiasm that she brings I will guarantee she will make your night.

So even though the club is extremely nice. The girls were clearly bored. Sitting around on their phones! Also the fact that customers can sit on their phones as well is kind of a show of how well the girls are doing. I think a no cell phone policy would really benefit this club. Last thing as a female with my male significant other of the two and a half hours we were there only one girl came over and talked to us. I get that me being there might be uncomfortable or whatever but I’m there with my man. Like do they want to make money or no???

I visited awhile back when travel was safer and had a great time. I LOVE the multiple levels and the whole vibe. Hung out with Kira and BeeBee for a few hours and they were so much fun and so cool. Definitely will visit again!

This place was absolutely nasty. A business vendor took me here for some drinks. Front doorman refused to allow us to use a promo they posted. When we went in there were two entertainers and 5 guests. The entertainers were refusing to dance. They should be better prepared. Save your money and do not go to this place, its definitely not worth it. Stay far away

Worse place, its a requirment that you Have to buy a drink... Whats the point of the cover if you have to pay for a drink...Major unexpected notice... I personally dont mind but the way he was taking to me, I find it disrespectful... 👎 He litterly said, What dont you know what $10 is... Damn, and them he how gave me an attitude... I was there last week and I got a dance from a beautiful young lady, she was very nice but after we were done i noticed the manager dave approach the young lady and the way he was talking you wouldve thought he was a pimp. I got to the bar and over heard him telling a young lady he wanted her gone, so he handed her a $100 and told the young lady to do what she has to do but he dont wanna see the girl after that. I came back yesterday and found out the young lady name was sarah and they had fired her. This is a very disrespectful man for the actions he and the management took for someone he dont like. Very helpful staff for new Commer. Clean and upkeep, in the middle of construction but from the ground floor looks great. reminds me of the old shcool, classic. Its clean and upkepted door man and barmaid are way friendly/helpful . Not getting approached left and right witch is nice. Very laied back. Play at your own pace. Feels safe security makings its rounds witch is rare. All and all its good times to come cant wait to see what the new renovationsione look like. Will stop back.

This is the best club I have been till now of all the clubs that I have been around the cities like san antonio, dallas, las vegas houston. The girls are very good here and they treat you very good but the drawback is there is no alcohol. So I prefer this place anytime for good times.

Wish I could give a zero star. The place is full of racists the dancer are clearly shows there attitude towards the asians I sat there for almost an hour and tipping the girls but not a single one approached and it was not busy at all. NEVER GOING TO COMEBACK again

Staff was extremely rude. Paid $46 for 2 red bulls at the bar, on top of the cover of charge of $10 at the door. Too many patrons, not enough ladies. Avoid at all costs. I would never come back here.

We paid 10 dollars to get in and we were forced to pay for a 10 dollar beverage which wasnt even alcohol. When we refused to pay for the beverage and decided that we didnt want to stay at that time, we couldnt get our money back at the door, its just a rip off.
