Roxys Cabaret

My first time coming to Roxys Cabaret for their drag buffet. Let me tell you, this was a blast! Everything from the host at the door to the waitstaff outfits, along with the drag queens outfits, were amazing! It was a Disney theme, along with some extra numbers. We had a few different parties celebrating that day (wedding party and several birthdays). There was even an 89 year young lady there for her first time, and she was a hoot! It was a perfect way to end my weekend visit with family. I cant wait to come back for another show! 😁😍

Monica is such a Queen! I found brunch though eventbrite when I was visiting for a conference and it was such a good Sunday brunch. Tasty food, tasty drinks & the best show. I came back for drag bingo on Tuesday. Would definitely recommend

I was sucked in with a showing of Big Trouble in Little China. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. The staff were all amazing and all great conversationalist. Down to Earth and pleasant environment, and just plain fun.

Was a fabulous time. This was the first drag performance I had ever been to . I felt welcomed and had a very good time. I also got to attend a meet and greet. Where the performers were a treat to meet , Posing for a pictures having drinks in conversations with the guess.

Wildly good production value, the queens are next level talented, the food is tasty, and the atmosphere is Next Level. This place is a serious gem and I’m shook that it took me a year and a half of them being open to get here.The Disney show was utter perfection, blending Disney tracks with pop culture bangers, played loudly enough that your entire table can dance and sing along without being any semblance of a disruption — in fact, it proved to be a hilarious bonus people watching tables (and vice versa!).Don’t sleep on this, internet friends.And don’t forget your dollar bills to tip these epic queens.

We had an amazing time! Dinner, drinks and a show that cant be beat! The venue was clean, well thought out, and made us feel comfortable. The show was so fun and really engaging. We cant wait to go back! So many shows to choose from - there could never be a dull moment.There is limited metered street parking and the parking ramp across the street is very convenient and close but you pay for it. ($26)

If youre looking for something fun and affordable, this it! $10 for an hour and a half show with a full menu available to order from. The waiters and bartender were super nice and the show was fantastic.I went on Thursday and the show was only Monica West and Genevieve Love, but they put on one hell of a show! They were both so excited and fun to watch. Monica also did an excellent job bantering with the crowd. I will be back the next time Im in Minneapolis!

Roxy’s is simply wonderful. It is so great to be able to make a reservation for a seat and it’s often no more than 20$. The room where the show takes place is perfect for the unbelievable show you get to see! The sound and lighting are perfect. Drinks are great, and while food isn’t the main feature, the classic diner menu offers something for everyone. I’ve been watching Nina and Monica and Maxi since I was 18 and am now 40. To honor Roxy with this space had me SOBBING in the beginning of the show as a short video plays to make full mention of the dream that was had to build this, the inspiration who is Roxy, and the transition from a Hibachi grill to a cabaret venue. You will love this show so much. Upstairs, there is a beautiful rooftop area with an outside patio as well as an indoor dance/game (ski ball) area. The upstairs bar is also great! Please please go and support this business. Drag is so important. Representation matters. Thank you Roxy’s !

Hands down the most amazing time you will have in Minneapolis. These girls have so much talent! Went there to see the drag show and we ended up seeing a performance of a life time. The absolute best show I have ever seen. Thanks for having us!!

In town visiting/working the state fair, figured I’d pop out and see what there is to see and lemme tell ya, I’m so glad I crossed paths with Roxy’s cabaret, their wonderful waitstaff Van,Thunder, Reece, & Calvin (who kept us plenty entertained despite there being no shows going on at 9pm on a Tuesday )AND their super tasty Caesar salad dressing that they make from scratch! 10 outta 10, chefs kiss 😚🤌🏽

Definitely a “must do” when visiting Minneapolis. The show was FANTASTIC and so much fun! The talent, energy, costumes were awesome. Service was excellent and the food was great. Bring your dollar bills!

Had a great time at Drag Brunch! The space is intimate, the entertainment was great! Everyone is super friendly and took wonderful care of us.

We went to a 7pm dinner show on Friday.. wow!! What a great time. They really know how to work the crowd and put on an amazing performance. I will definitely be back!

We arrived at 4pm right as they were opening the upstairs lounge. We were the only ones there and Andrew was incredibly welcoming and personable.We had such a great time and I credit it all to him. I look forward to coming back when it is busier but this was a memorable experience. Thank you Andrew!

What a cute and fun place! We came for a Saturday night drag show and we loved the show so much. The queens were so talented and gave amazing performances. The drinks were delicious (albeit a little on the pricier side), and the service was amazing. The food was kind of sub-par, but we didnt come for the food.... we will most definitely be back!

Very friendly staff! Performers definitely knew how to work the crowd and poke (the right amount of) fun. Food was great and the drinks pretty strong. Ill definitely be back! And if youre new to watching drag like me, this is perfect place to check it out. I felt super welcome even as a boring hetero/cis male :)

Took the wife here 4+ hrs south of my house before her flight wasnt sure what to expect but we ended up having a grand time . Thank you for the laughs , great food , and peaceful atmosphere.

Food was good but the bartender, van, denied serving a pineapple coconut drink to me when i asked for one, saying that they were out of coconut flavored alcohol, when not even 20 minutes later he gave a pineapple coconut drink the girl sitting to the right next to me, even kind of offering it to her. he did state that they were going through some menu changes but was still quite rude during our entire interaction. however, van also denied giving my friend a mojito, saying that they were out of limeade. i reported this to the manager on duty, julian. julian and, honestly, the rest of the staff were super kind and understanding, in which they also offered a reimbursement option. i understand if they didnt have a set menu and the bartender was a new hire, but my friend and i are both asian and not serving certain drinks to the only asian people there did not feel very inclusive. (the girl he gave the pineapple coconut drink to was white btw). my friends and i really wanted to enjoy this place, but this whole situation was an overall bad experience for us, and we do not plan to come back, especially if van is still working there.

These queens were AMAZING! I didn’t go a minute without either laughing or singing along. It was so much fun!

Went for the Grand Opening, and couldnt wish more that I lived in Minneapolis! The food was amazing, the cocktails were delicious and the entertainment cant be matched! I look forward to so many more visits in the future!

Went to the 7pm show with my 22 year old. Performers and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The performers even made my oldest a brief part of the show and commented on the outfit, it made their night! Greg was very helpful and accommodating with our beverages and food!! A great time!!

One of the best places to go in Downtown Minneapolis. The food is great, the service is amazing and the show ... Its truly the best Drag MN has to offer. My first experience at Roxy’s was Awesome! I’ve been to a couple other downtown Drag Show venues and Roxy’s is, by far, the Best! The Queens are professional, extremely talented, and put on a Great show! I’ve been to a few shows and all have been different and super engaging and fun!!! The BEST in downtown Minneapolis!!!

Best drag show in Minneapolis! Went here for my friends birthday party. From the time you walk in you’re treated like a queen. Fantastic food and service! The performers were TOP NOTCH and visited with the crowd afterwards and took pictures. We’ll be back for sure!

My first drag show ever! We did the Beyonce Drag Brunch and it was a blast. Food was fantastic and the show was so much fun. My wife enjoyed the bottomless mimosas. We will definitely be back!

A great show! We came for the Beyoncé themed drag brunch and loved it so much we came back for the regular 7pm lunch. Quick and easy food service with good options, and the queens are great.

First time to a drag show and the show exceeded my expectations! The gals were fantastic; funny, smart and very entertaining. Awesome interaction with the crowd. The wait staff was amazing as well.

My mom and I went here for the Sunday cult cinema classics. We saw clue and it was a great time. They gave us free popcorn and the drinks were delicious. All in all it was a great time.

If you want to see not just good drag, but great drag in Minnesota this is the spot. The food is so good you actually want to get an early seating to enjoy before the talent hits the stage. Speaking of talent, there is no shortage here! As someone who has seen drag shows around the world, this is my spot in Minneapolis. You want an old school lip quiver…, you’re set. Incredible service from Max and Riley!! Such great drag shows and a loving atmosphere from all the queens

This place is so fun! The cast puts on a great show and the service was excellent. We loved the cocktails we ordered and appreciated having the rooftop bar at the venue to enjoy after the show.

I dont always have the energy and time to get here, but when I do its like coming home. Its sleek, simple, and Nina always has a load of dirty jokes to spread across the audience. Been following her for years, and she never disappoints. If you want to see professional and precise imitations of your favorite singers, these queens will give you a master class. My favorites are Monica Wests Reba Macintire set. You forget shes not Reba. Now, Im a Reba fan and before I just thought she was another country artist, but I was wrong. Reba is a goddess and Monica taught me that.Also, you cant go wrong with Ninas Bette Midler. Her ability to lip sync to the quick lines of in the Mood impresses me every time. BeeBee, a winner on Ru Pauls Drag Race, wins my heartevery time with her impressions of Whitney Houston.✨My only issue is how loud the music is because I have very sensitive ears. I keep forgetting my ear plugs and thats on me, but it might be good to have a warning somewhere on the website when you reserve tickets. Offer ear plugs at the door? There is probably a reason to keep the music loud for theatrical reasons, but all 3 times Ive gone, I leave feeling like my ears are bleeding. I will be more careful next time and remember my Loop earplugs.

Greg was our server and was so attentive and such a delight! The drag queens were PHENOMENAL. The show was so engaging and well done! We had a great time and great drinks!

Food was totally overpriced and disgusting. Pickle had a chemical flavor. Grilled cheese was icky and fries a waste. Couldn’t eat any of it. How sad. Will never ever return!!! $40 bucks for sabotage!!!

Each of the cast members brings something different to the show that makes it fun and entertaining. Youll feel like they are there just for you. Its worth your money and your time.

And lets not forget about the fabulous service! Every time weve been there, our server Iesha has been absolutely phenomenal!

Went for the NYE show. I know the queens who manage and perform in the shows are pillars of the queer community in the Cities but I was really blown away by how much I enjoyed the entire experience. From the servers to the queens to the mgmt, everyone was a delight and you could tell it’s a well managed place from the show to the kitchen. Excited to come back.Also special shout out to our server Iesha (probably spelling wrong). She was hilarious and fun! ❤️I didn’t eat but my only hope is that they’ll perhaps include more vegan options soon. I don’t think they have a ton.

Absolutely fabulous show. Flamboyant Girls & strong drinks. We had a fantastic time. They have different shows several times a week, so check the schedule and make a reservation ahead of time. We were able to walk in, but I have a feeling it would get very popular very fast.

This was SO fun! It was like being at a concert - lively, colorful, loud and entertaining. It was hard to find information about this event, but we ordered a great brunch from the Nicollet Diner menu, the bar poured good drinks (water and other available also), and they appreciate tips. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to start the day!

Great entertainment space! Drag shows multiple nights each week. The Jazz show on Thursday was fun! New spin on classic songs.Full menu from Nicolette Diner as well as a full bar.

Went in the evening while in town for a convention. Tommy was wonderful, the desserts were amazing, and we had a great time. Will definitely be back whenever were in town!

If you have any questions, all you need to do is ask the friendly staff. They are cordial and attentive. The entertainers *never* disappoint and are so funny. The food was good and portions were sizable for a single person meal.Overall, the money was well spent, from the food, the drinks, and the people- Roxys is making a long-lasting name for itself.

The Halloween Withes and Bubbles Brunch did not disappoint! Full house and not a big wait to order or for food to come. Really impressed at the staff’s ability to work through the dark theatre with the loud music, dancing performers and all the fun and chaos going on during the show! Third week since opening and this level of organization and. Customer service already locked down? Impressive! The show was one of the best I’ve seen, the event featured three performers and each of their acts brought about such a unique and polished performance that at cast call, you were reminded that the entire show was carried out by three very talented and entertaining performers. The video backdrops and stage lights added to the dynamic experience. Really impressed with the ability to scan menus from a QR code as well as pay from an app as well. The all-gender bathroom with individual locking stalls is also a nice feature for the guests. Grateful for some mocktail options, beyond meat sausage alternatives and the opportunity to order from a full menu versus cafeteria style brunch while enjoying a show! This space is doing all the right things to reduce risks during Covid. With such an incredible experience this early in their new space, I look forward to getting more friends to come out and having a great time together.

Having a beautiful time at Roxys Cabaret!Were celebrating my besties 30th with great food (quesadillas, sandwiches and fries) craft cocktails (we liked the aviator and the the limoncello spritzer) and awesome holiday themed drag! Cant recommend it enough!

Absolutely the best brunch in Minnesota, if not, the Midwest! Lovely host, amazing service. Our waitress had multiple tables plus our 20+ table and she never missed a beat! The host, the queens, the vibe, it’s immaculate and dirty and scrumptious at the same time! We attended the Disney brunch infused with Beyoncé, Shania Twain, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, & more. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Let it be known, you are missing out if you don’t visit Roxy’s Cabernet!

The production and Queens are amazing and put on an amazing show. the mocktails are tasty I recommend the “Sun out guns out” mocktail. Any time in Minneapolis I will return to Roxy’s Cabaret for a great time. Thank you for your hospitality.

One of the most fun and unique restaurants Ive seen! The classic dinner style and food is great, 50s inspired and very well done. Plenty of good options for everyone. Classic dishes with good flavors. They have a full bar with good craft cocktails.The food and style reminded me of classic Coney Island restaurants in metro Detroit. The old diner feel was very charming. They even had the pie slice rotating display case.The most fun and unique part is Roxys. They have big range of Drag shows and they have very talented ladies performing. Its so much fun! The show we saw was great and every performer had multiple out changes.Its a good mix of people there and there was a dance group with a handful of kids as well. They were having a blast.Its a fairly new stage so be sure to check them out! Ill be back next time Im in town for sure!

Just went everything was amazing. Performance was fun and one of the best Ive ever been to. Food was fresh and delicious. You absolutely have to go and I will 100% be going again.

Diner food done well-ish... I get steak and eggs a lot... this time my over easy eggs were over medium, my medium rare steak was medium well... and the server was not very attentive... I ate my food and stayed because I love a diner and I love the management staff there! Vito and Carl are top-notch! YES ILL GO BACK.

It was my first time at Roxy’s for my birthday and it was one of the best birthdays of my life! I wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was good, the drinks were good and the service was fabulous. My group of 5 enjoyed the inside show from the back table. It’s a quaint and compact space to fit a bunch of people but I never felt claustrophobic, and even from the back I could see everything. The queens were so nice and gave 100% even after a long pride weekend (we went to see the 4PM Sunday show) we even got some pictures! 10/10 would go again!!

This was amazing! My friends and I saw the Saturday night show Flamboyance, and we had so much fun watching the performances and laughing at the jokes. It was an interesting take on drag shows, with a nice sit down meal and slightly more low-key atmosphere. Also, the Queens did an amazing 2 hours of performances, which was insane. Definitely check it out!

Great brunch show with fabulous queens who are well rounded entertainers and artists. The show flows really well and the queens pick numbers that they clearly know how to use to engage with the audience. The best place for drag shows in the Twin Cities! We went for the Sunday Brunch show and had the time of our lives. The drag queens are so entertaining, funny, and make everyone feel comfortable. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you ladies for the memories of a lifetime! PRO TIP: the host walks around beforehand for anyone that needs to break larger bills for singles.

Been hearing about this place for a while, so happy I was finally able to check it out! 10/10 recommend.When I tell you they performed they A** off!! If I had a wig on, it wouldve came off after those performances!!They were funny with the commentary when interacting with audience. The server was so nice and attentive to us during the whole show. They serve an all day menu of food options along with non alcohol and alcohol drinks.Can we talk about the outfit changes between sets. I was like wow!!I have to check out the Sunday brunch drag show because if its anything like the Saturday night drag brunch, I know its going to be a great show and time.

This place was so wonderful! Food and cocktails were absolutely fantastic. I had the tuna melt--which was grilled and delicious--with some of the best fries Ive had anywhere. My excellent cocktail of choice was the balanced, fruity Bitter Old Queen. I cant wait to come back at night to get a sense of the bar crowd and cabaret show. Peeking in that area got me excited for the possibilities this place has to offer.

Super sad to leave this review but important for people to know about this experience, we came for a drag show the night before which was amazing! However when we went tonight for just food at the dinner the experience was a completely diference situation; we were incredibly mistreated by a security (let me add I would never feel safe around this induvidual), in front of the manager who let this individual boss him around, this place had the right bones not the right staff to run a safe, inclusive and harmonious place that wants to run 24hrs, if you want to see an amazing drag 10/10! If you want good food and service DONT even expect it!

Come for the amazing drag and snazzy diner vibes and good food, stay for MORE DRAG. These queens rule.HOWEVER: the karaoke deserves more love! Thursday karaoke is rare enough and the host is awesome, but the sound sucks. She deserves better!

I have been waiting to return to Minneapolis so I could check out Roxys. Roxys DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Top notch entertainment and the food was really good as well. I have followed a couple of the entertainers and was very impressed how they make all feel welcome and entertained at this venue. I attended the Saturday night show and wanted more so I went to the drag Bingo on Tuesday both amazing! I also love how every Tuesday is dedicated to a charity. GO CHECK OUT Roxys!!!

We saw the show last night and had a great time. The performances were great and the MC was hilarious!We had dinner up on the patio on the second floor, which we didnt know they had as it was not promoted on the website, but we were glad they did. (There is actually a rooftop bar and huge seating area as well that we discovered after the show)****My only suggestion to all future attendees of the show is: Bring ear plugs! I know that makes me sound old but seriously, the show is loud AF and I found myself plugging my ears frequently throughout the performances.Otherwise, we had so much fun and were glad we decided to try Roxys out. We will be back again soon for the food and the fun!

First visit to Roxy’s last night for a charity bingo event. Nina and Roxy were fantastic hosts and read the crowd to keep everyone laughing and comfortable. Fabulous performances and cocktails, too. I am so impressed this business chooses to do events for charity EVERY WEEK!! Will definitely be back.

Sooooo much fun! The drag queens are truly funny and talented. The food is delicious (get yourself a milkshake) and the drinks are strong! :) They have so much entertainment going on throughout the week, this is a must-include in your plans. The Tuesday night drag queen charity bingo is not only a great time, but also raises funds and awareness for local nonprofits. A total win/win!

Had an absolute fantastic time last night! My first ever drag show and all the Queens were magnificent! Loads of energy and super playful with the audience! I’m from Seattle but I’ll definitely be back for Roxy’s Cabernet!

This was our first time at Roxys and it didnt disappoint! We thoroughly enjoyed the Friday night Guess whose coming to dinner show, with outstanding performances by Tina, Bette, Reba, P!nk (just to name a few). The perfect, intimate space for a Cabaret, enjoyable audience interaction, amazing audio and visual system, tasty food and cocktails and an elevated lounge area upstairs at On the Rox. If youre ever looking for some fabulous drag in the Twin Cities, Roxys Cabaret IS the place to be!!

10/10 would recommend if your looking for good food, GREAT entertainment and lots of laughs!

The highlight of our stay in Minneapolis!!!! My burger was amazing, the bartender was so friendly and helpful (great happy hour specials!), and Mia Dorrs Karaoke was the best experience!!!!!

Weve hosted a couple of corporate events at Roxys Cabaret. We couldnt be more grateful for or impressed with Jamie Olsen and the team at Roxys. They brought so many creative ideas to the table, were incredibly accommodating to all our requests, and nailed in when it came to atmosphere and entertainment. If youre looking for an inclusive space to host your next event, Roxys should be at the very top of your list.

The show was great and will definitely come again. Had the patty melt and onions rings for dinner, and it was horrible. Dry, rubbery, and overdone. The waitress was very rude but thought herself as funny. Would not recommend eating there, but the show was great fun

So much fun! This was amazing! Roxy’s is top level entertainment. From the servers to the tech team to the performers these folks are top notch! This is something the Twin cities has needed for decades and it’s finally here, a real, honest to goodness real live Cabaret. Highly recommend. This will become a destination spot very quickly.

I found my new favorite place to play bingo, warm up on cold Minneapolis Tuesday night, & be entertained by the glamorous Monica West. Witty, glitzy, and high energy fun evening. Food is delicious, service is top notch. I cant say enough about it. If you dont go our for all that, then go to support local charity fundraiser (everything from pets to performers & everything in between)

This is a review of their desserts only:We ordered a few desserts for delivery after a concert. We ordered a brownie, a lemon bar, a slice of cheesecake and a slice of a tiramisu-style cake. The only thing we could eat was the cheesecake. Everything tasted cheap. Think of the quality of desserts/bakery items at a 2-star hotel/motel’s free breakfast. If you ever wondered, “this is too decadent, I wonder if they could make this taste like the absolute lowest quality ingredients were used?” then you’d be the only person these desserts are for.I didn’t even know brownies could be so bad...everything we ordered, except the cheesecake, ended up in the compost. 😫😫

I spent my 18th birthday here and it was magical. My family and friends spent the whole time singing and dancing in our chairs! The queens are respectful of everyone and they put their all into their performances. This place helps remind me that there’s still love in the world💛

Why have I never been here prior to the show I attended? This place is magical, the staff are beyond amazing and friendly. Tons of laughs and a great time. The bartender Tintin was dancing, the hosts and performers were giving everything they had. Absolutely amazing

I didnt realize it would all be lip syncing. We had fun, but the show got a bit long. Food was pretty good. Many tables left early. Maybe the kinks were still being worked out because we were there a few weekends after opening.

Beauty and Bubbles was FANTASTIC today. This was my first time at a Drag Show and I truly LOVED every minute of IT. The ladys were Wonderful and Very entertaining! I loved that they were so willing to take pictures during and after the show. If I could give more stars I would. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO SEE ONE OF THEIR SHOWS AT ROXY CABERAT. Great show; the performers are great, the theater is intimate but very well designed, and the table service was attentive. Lots of variety, very professional production, and no lulls despite multiple costume changes. Very recommended.

I went with a group of friends to the Friday night drag Guess whos coming to dinner show. We were warmly greeted by host Thunder and well-served by sassy server Ayesha. The food was classic diner fare and all up to par. My drinks (house manhattan, Minneapolilan, were both too saturated with cinnamon to my taste but boozy enough). Unfortunately I had to flee the entertainment because the sound level was beyond dangerous to ones hearing. I tried to listen with fingers in my ears, but maintaining that was ludicrous so I just left. A pity because I had looked forward to enjoying this evening.

Amazing performance! Was in stitches half the time and couldnt stay still in my chair as I kept dancing along with the queens in my seat.
