Food was not ok, drink was good. Ambiance was ok. Its a Mexican pub so the songs were playing were Mexican but soothing

4/5 vibes, 2/5 everything else.$20 cash only cover at the door (men and women). There is an ATM outside. Water is $4 and will be charged even at the bar. Shots about $11 each. Go after 10:30PM for best attendance. Lines will get long but move quickly starting at 10PM (Friday night). Note there is a bar both upstairs (much emptier) and two downstairs (one at entrance, would NOT recommend because of the line, and one near the dance floor). For beer, just go to the second floor dance floor ($8).

Place is an absolute dump and there was bugs in the bathroom along with everyone doing illegal substances in there. The bartenders will take your money for a shot and they will pour water in their glass. The security guards are unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing. This is not a safe place. Do not go to this club! Your night will be ruined!

The security guard is unprofessional. The security guards, are very rude and disrespectful. The security guard is not allowed to beat up the customer or punch the customer. this is what the security have done to the customers in Monte Carlo nightclub. The security guards should not work there if they do not know how to appropriately do their job the right professional way. Some of the servers where even a bit rude to the customers. The servers need to learn how to treat the customers or they will loose customers. This is a place that I would never come back to ever again. Somebody needs to professionally train the security guard on how to do their job better. This place needs better customer service and better security guards.

Its a nice club for people who like reggaeton, cumbia, merengue, Banda. Basically latin music. The only complaint was I made a VIP reservation and I chose the tables I wanted and on the day I went they said there was a bigger party so they gave them the tables I had reserved. I had more than 10 people attending.

We had an event. It was ok, but come on why would you charge 20 glasses and we only saw one that broke that should be part of your pricing. Incidents happen and the party continued after the event. I know for a fact that they spent over 5000$ that night and you are petty as to charge 90$ 18 glasses that supposedly they broke. Very disappointed.

Good place... Since rid popular it took a while to get our seat.. but they make it up with a free wine bottle for the trouble

It was nice and packed great music! Bartender in the front with red dress seemed to be bias he’s picking her favorites to serve… wish it was better service like the bartender in the main room with the white dress she was very nice and got are drinks right away!

As someone said in the comments SCAMMERS! For bottle service, they asked for a deposit and literally placed a table for us halfway in the dance floor. Someone thought it was a trash table and put their dirty corona bottle. It was terrible and when we asked for our deposit back they refused. We noticed a bigger table available and we were ready to buy it, and purchase many bottles. The bottle girls said they were waiting for someone who had paid full price for it and was on their way but to wait in case they did not show up. They said to wait until 11, then 11:30, then 12. Until finally we realized what they were doing and were definitely playing favorites. The owner said the table was for an employee. They should’ve said that from the getgo!! Instead of having us wait there like idiots. We left and they kept the $100 deposit. Obvs this is not the first time they do it if you look at the comments, they really are discriminatory. Literally avoid this place!!!! Should be investigated by the bbb. Never again.

Amazing food, great service and smiles from the staff, not to mention the best mojito Ive ever had!! A small plate of the nachos was anything but small. It had a generous amount of meat the right amount of spice and jalapenos. Delicious! Being able to enjoy good music and food in a nice outdoor setting is a big welcome during such unusual times. All necessary precautions are being taken and you can tell that their guests having a great time is their top priority. Such a breath of fresh air and greatly appreciated! It allowed me to feel like things were back to normal and was very comfortable enjoying my meal here! The restrooms are nice, modern and well maintained. I cant wait for Monte Carlo to open up fully to be able to enjoy it in its entirety. Thank you for the warm welcome and incredible service & food. This is, without a doubt, not my last visit to Monte Carlo!!

This place is great! It’s always packed tho.. you can choose to go upstairs to enjoy some bachata, salsa, cumbias, anything Dj. Down stairs there is reggaetón, live Banda/grupo, and a very fun environment. Drinks are about 15 bucks. Just 20 dollars to get in! Again the lines get fricken long. Over all a really good night club.

Its a crowed place its nice for me if you are experienced in night clubs if yo want space to dance dont come, need be early and the bartender are slow we had a problem with one but the mananger handdle it very good so a 4 stars its pretty good

Went to the nightclub and loved it. Two separate dance areas with different Latin music. $20 cash cover charge, so be prepared.

Was excited to practice my new salsa moves. Entry was a bit high. Drinks were strong, niceee. The non-dance floor upstairs was sticky! Experience was good until the DJ started playing Daddy Yankee and Pitbull; thats when ear damage came into play. My partner didnt notice any pain but my ears started hurting. We were tired and went downstairs to leave and we both heard this deafening ringing in our ears!!!!! I didnt pay $40 bucks for two people to get ear damage! The DJ and sound techs dont know how to operate there gear properly. I cant imagine how many other people left last Saturday night with screwed up ears. Yes ear plugs would have been great... but I have never ever gone to a club that made my ears ring until around 7PM the next night. I went to the tea place across the street and the girl at the counter had the hardest time with our order because we couldnt hear anything. I dont plan to ever go back to that place. I would like to sue them for inflicting bodily harm but I dont see how I can prove this happened unless I came in with a decibel meter.. maybe Ill do that just to get this place shut down. Really cool experience. They played all sorts of different music. Different age groups. Good drinks. The divided upstairs offers a separate dj that played some rap/hip hop which was awesome

Terrible club. Granted I was only there briefly cause they refused to let my be and I in without paying $20 bucks each. We were there with a group but had to leave. Lame. I know its a straight bar but do you really have to charge that much just to get in. Common Ive been to high class clubs and they barely charged that amount. The music sounded awful and the crowd was just stanky. Like hot trash bags. Basic bitches all around. Will NEVER return again. Thanks and bye Felicia

Other reviews for this place are pretty bad but I loved this place! I had been looking for a good regatón club for ever and this is the best one yet. Played all my favs- daddy yankee, wisin y yandel, ozuna. There were also a few English songs, Banda, and cumbia.I went on a Friday night and didn’t notice it being more crowded than other clubs... I guess it depends on the night?

The place used to be good but not anymore. The alcohol is too expensive. The security is mediocre or too busy flirting with the waitress to do their job right. Theres no dress code and theres always fights breaking out there. And the music is not that great.

Had a great time. Atmosphere was great. Food & drinks were good though limited, probably due to covid. Service was excellent. Music was great & upbeat. Will come back here again.

Decent place but everything is way overpriced. Entry per person is $20. They mainly have Latin inspired music so if you want to go clubbing then find another place.

I used to visit this club back in the days, until some low life security guard wannabe accused me of steeling a beer, i never stolen from my parents as a kid, much less now as an adult.To make story short, they kicked me out, i felt degraded as a person, and until now years down the road, this still bugs me. Do your self a favor stay away from this place. Is not worth it.Never went back there after that incident.

I am really disappointed with this place. I dont know if it was the waitress of the actual place but we went there yesterday for a friends bday we bought 2 bottles first that waitress said each bottle was 250 but when she came and charge us she said it was 555 then after and hour we bought another bottle and she charge us 330 i told my husband not to get it but he was drinking and he wanted more. Then my friend bought another bottle and they only charger 250 bc she paid with a credit card on the paper she was going to sign for the credit card it someone wrote minimum 25 dollars for tip and she had to tip her... this place is just to expensive or the waitress was shady.anyways never again i dont recommend this place to anyone there is a Irish pub right in the front of monte carlos and i like it there more and there is Albertos club around the corner. And for banda there is La Ronda in Sunnyvale. Oh and after the club was over outside of the club there was a fight right next to where we park.. this is a NO NO No place.

Yesterday, Friday 06/21 we had a problem in this place MONTECARLO Night club, we were told that security was very unfair, but we never experienced it! unfortunately yesterday an injustice was committed with me and my companions.the security behaved in a very aggressive way, and intimidating hit us and took us out of the place! We talked to the police because they were hitting me and when the #MOUNTAINVIEWPOLICEDEPARMENT that went to us was not for help it was to arrest us and for no reason they did not explain to me why they arrested me we believe we are sure they abused the police force.I am offering $ 100 dlls to $ 1,000 dlls in cash to the people who give me the best video of what happened in this place.....###El día de ayer Viernes 06/21 tuvimos un problema en este lugar MONTECARLO Night club , nos avían dicho que eran muy injustos los security’s, pero nunca lo aviamos experimentado! desafortunadamente ayer se cometió una injusticia con migo y mis acompañantes.los security se portaron de una manera muy agresiva, e intimidante nos golpearon y nos sacaron de el lugar ! I dont like it. This place suck. Me and mi girlfriend come to this place becouse i like but after today we are goint to rate this place as unrespecfull to their loyal custumer.. They take us away of our table becouse they sale it to dome one who came at 1100. We came at 930 becouse we want to get a table and make us to buy a. Bucket of six beers for 36 dollar if we want to het the table even i gave 10 as a tip to de bartender. Do they realy suck for this accion.

Im a street performer. I had my extension cord hanging from my window, along the side of my vehicle, to the ground. The owner of Monte Carlo claimed my cord was a tripping hazard, if anybody is was able to trip over my cord, they were WAAAAAY too close to my car in the first place. I am great for businesses. Im trying to make anywhere I go, cool. Sorry, not sorry.

This places smells bad. The floors feels sticky and the cover fee is overpriced. People pushes and steps on you all the time. If you want to dance, you have to push people around.

2 stars just because the music was ok in a sense. Its extremely crowded. False advertising because their ads for Sunday state that everyone goes in free, yet they charge 20 dollars for men. This is not a good business ethic. Monte Carlo should NOT take advantage of the good clientele it has established.

It went from a club to a casual Bar. Before the pandemic, on Fridays, no way they will let you in if you were wearing sneakers/tennis or dress casual. Now, anybody can go in. No restriction at all...

You have to be careful in this site when you buy a bucket of beer because I paid different amounts of this at one time paid 70 and the second time I paid 56

This place is dead on a Thursday. The bartenders just want to get you drunk and all the women there had boyfriends. They should remodel this place its getting too old fast.

I really like the Downtown Mountain View vibe and this place has the best crowd inside, they play disco, latin and regional mexican music, the djs engage with the crowd, the only con is that is so popular that it gets packed to a point that you cant even walk without being touched!

I got my wallet stolen. Watch out for pick pockets. It is a big issue here. I dont know if i will ever go back here again!

Honestly nobody ever even dances not upstairs English or downstairs Spanish. Mostly single men just staring you down. Also older audience, like your dad and tios in late 30s-50s.

Only went to club, music is always great.

I was looking all around Mountain View for Tom Yam paste to make soup. 99 Ranch was out, both in Mountain View and Sunnyvale. They actually had a good selection.

Too expensive now 😪, and too small, they made it super smaller now, paid 60.00 to go and it was not worth it, this club keeps going down the drain.

Had a great time learned how to dance Banda cool place to check out. Yet, a lot of fights, its overcrowded and drinks are expensive.

The music seems like its from southern Mexico, the bands that play there. Its very hot, they dont have air conditioning or they dont turn it on, upstairs is where they play reggaeton and its hotter than downstairs.

The second level Latin music DJ has a trauma with cumbias, he doesnt know another genre, he is very repetitive, he is not a DJ, he only plays music to his liking and not the audiences faith, it is difficult for him to keep the level up, he lacks street so you know that you can make better mixes with the great variety of Latin music that exists... That would generate a better atmosphere, since sometimes it seems like a wake...

Where to eat...Years ago this was the place to go have fun with your friends... nowadays... they no longer have the dress code... they now include tennis caps and even gym pants.The entrance fee is $30. The drinks are very bad and the price is a mockery.. They should charge $1 for a mix drink because of how bad they make it.. The place is very, very full and you cant even dance.. The DJ has to change.. the same songs from more than 20 years ago... I do not recommend this place to go out with your friends.Monte Carlo. Im sorry... It used to be the place for me to go out.
