If you’re looking for a night out in Mountain View Mollys is the place to go. $7 cover on weekends but free if you get in before 9pm, with re-entry. The bouncers and bar tenders are awesome people who are passionate about the place they run and creating a fun atmosphere for clientele. 10/10
If u are looking for a fun evening, dancing and boozing with friends..this place is a go to place.. decent dance floor and on weekend nights get crowded by 11 PM... cover charge is generally $7 and decent drinks... generally there is no waiting time... I have been here alot if times and always had a good experience...
This place was my to go to bar for the music, and dance but I think that DJ is no longer there on Saturday nights. Its not too bad on Fridays, but I like Saturdays better. This was my second year visiting this bar for the new years. It was pretty cool. The bartenders were quick and efficient.
Just the most perfectly average club you’d expect in South Bay with tons of unattractive people that make you fit right in. Love it, 5/5
Great Irish bar with an amazing selection of craft beers and alcohol. Loved the music and the atmosphere.
Bleh its alright. The dj was fine. Its open late on Fridays so thats nice
Not great: an old style bar with a bit of a musty and sad atmosphere. Ok beers. Time for a rethink, I reckon.
Quite lively on Fridays and Saturdays after 11 PM, though there is a cover. Theres a dance floor and pretty good dance music as well. In the mens bathroom, the urinals are just one giant trough, which was kinda cool at first, but now just kinda weird.
Incredible selection of drinks, including Coke and Red Bull if you just want a relaxing spot to chill. All of the bartenders here are amazingly perfect and friendly.
Always a wonderful time! Great environment where you can meet a lot of exciting and interesting people. It can get a little rowdy but the majority of patrons are nice and always a pleasure to interact with! Their choice of drinks are fantastic! Their indoor and outdoor bar settings allow you to enjoy two very different vibes to your evening out (and Saturdays in my opinion, is where its at)!
Great place to hang out, and have a beer. Selection is a bit IPA heavy, but I guess thats what is popular. They dont have food, but you can bring your own.
Terrible place, didn’t let me in because I don’t have a real ID just drive license????? That’s ridiculous
Really cool place to have a drink with friends after work! Music was good.
In a very boring environment, this Irish Pub is like an oasis. Proper Irish fellow behind the bar that will sort you out depending on your taste. Friendly crowd.
An excellent, basic bar with good prices. They specialize in shots, beers on tap, and well drinks. They have a menu of mixed drinks, but the bartenders wont appreciate a complicated order while theyre busy. Theres a good back patio and plentiful seating all around. I got a gin and tonic for $7 and a radler on tap for $7, which was cheaper than I was expecting. My friends and I arrived early and enjoyed 2 hours of drinking with good 90s music in the background. We enjoyed that atmosphere and could still hold a lively conversation between a few people, but left before things got busier.
Too crowded and crazy overpriced. They charge $11 for a pint of Guinness and $17 for a cocktail and then you have to drink your Guiness and cocktail standing up and holding your drink because there are no tables or seats anywhere. The crowd that hangs out here is typically pretty rude and inconsiderate. We had someone tell us we were standing in their way and were not really sure what to make of that. Do you see anywhere else to stand?
Loved it, loved the ambiance. Entry fee is 7 dollar and drinks are reasonable. Dj was not that great initially but later he played good songs .. speaker was good to got the full vibe for dancing. But they close half an hour before itself. Closing time is 2 am but they stopped playing music by 1.30 ..
This is the perfect place to get your annual allotment of Pliney the younger.. barely any line, and you have 2 weekends in a row to get some. otherwise thats used for quintessential pub, the back patio is very comfortable with heat lamps.
Wow. What, can I say? The staff is exceptional, the drinks are firm, the dance floor is spacious, and, the chicks rule when the music plays. Its been awhile, though...I hope to return one day when my bank account recovers. Winks and smiles to the owner. Love,Frederick M. Hall
Honestly this bar is overrated now. Went there on a Thursday night and they couldn’t make me a margarita because they were out of mix. The old guy that was there was so rude and the girl was always so rude. Never coming back here. Plus the music was so boring. If I can give this place zero stars I would. Very disappointed
Whisky Wednesday is excellent. Service is friendly even if its not super fast. Has been a fun date spot for me.
One of the best Irish pubs I have come across in Bay area. Crowd was trendy. Drinks were really good. Our bartender was really entertaining. This place has a dance floor which opens after 10 pm. The DJ played really awesome beats. We really had a good time there with Friends. This place has an entry cover of $5. I want to give one additional star for the trendy crowd that frequents this place.
This is a fun spot. It is cheaper than the other clubs/bars as they give out actual pints instead of cans. It is a great spot to hang out with friends and coworkers.
I have had very positive experiences hereI visit on occasion with my friends and the experiences all have been positive. The door guards always check for ID and they remember you next time you visit. That part is pleasant for me.People are not too pushy. the dance floor is great. The music selection is typically to my taste.
Loved the atmosphere 😄 and kind gesture 🙌 to serve us
Great ambience, tap room, pool table and dancing
This is my favorite place in Mountain View to grab a drink. Reasons:Name: I’m Irish and love Irish pubs.Price: prices are reasonable for beer and spirits compared to other local places.Appearance: the interior has low lighting, nice large business sign, architecturally laid out in a way that makes sense. Two restrooms, pool table. Basic pub stuff, but well maintained.Accessibility/location: wheelchair accessible, downtown Mountain View, so close to everything really.Toilets: not sure about the women’s room, but mens has a single stall for dropping that unexpected steamin demon. Trough style urinal so you can make friends.Beer/spirit selection: full bar with all your typical spirit selections. I drink Guinness, and it taste great here, they also know how to pour a proper Guinness. They mix up their taps with some local craft beer as well as having your run of the mill brewski selection if you are on a budget.Atmosphere: great, good energy, good vibes, good diversity. I never see crazy drunks or violent people. Granted, I’m not there in the late evening.Website: could use improvement. Not sure if it’s maintained or not.Activities: to my previous point about their website, I’m not sure what activities they have. Last update I see on Facebook is from May.Service: I often find that the bar tenders have good energy, are helpful, and get to people in a timely manner.
Solid establishment thats been around for years. Prices are reasonable, and the people are generally friendly. Friday and Saturday nights are more for dancing, so the space is very different than during the week
A pub living in the 2010s with terrible service and bouncers that have ego issues. Honestly save yourself some money and time by going to any other bar but this one. Their menus don’t even have prices and everything is overpriced. Their bouncers are literally like 10 year old boys living in the bodies of 50 year old men, huge egos and no respect for customers. Worst bar I’ve been to in California
Didnt eat food but just got a beer with a friend. Seemed like a good place but they dont do cocktails on weekdays so it had to be beer for us.
Fun place, plenty of locals. No drama and great seating! I wish they had the speakers reach the other end of the bar but I guess its not bad in terms of wanting to be a pub. The dance floor is nice , but it fills up quick and the time I went, there were some awful smelling people in there lol. Good local bar, make sure you get there around 10ish to lock down a seat !
Nice Irish pub with lots of space and good vibes! Cute cozy outdoor covered back patio with heat lamps. Different drink deals throughout the week, and lots of good beers on tap. Lots of whiskey/scotch/bourbon to choose from as well. Friendly staff.
One place that people I know have been visiting for the past 10-15 years. One of the best places to get a drink on Castro Street. Its open till late in the night, has a great beer collection and overall a good vibe.
Its a good place to drink beer, and thats it. It has two entrance, one front, and one in the back. It will turn into a club later in night, so if you come early you wont pay the cover. It has a small dance floor though. Men need to pee in a tub 😂 which always feel weird for me. It doesnt have any sort of food options so, you might need to grab a snack a head of time.
This place is the place for a good night out. They have good music and you dont have to wait a long time to get survived at the bar. The biggest plus for my group was that the entry cover fee is cheap at 7$. This place is really poppin Saturday nights. The only con I would say is that security is a bit aggressive when checking ID they ask you a ton of questions, but hey theyre doing their jobs. Overall place is great for a night of drinking and dancing, and the music is good. They mainly play hip hop some top 40s, and a little of Spanish reggaeton/hip hop.
People are friendly and a great place to meet new people. The only downside to the bar is the back entrance when the bar turns into a night club at night. But this is not the bars fault, but its the city requirement and causes an inconvenience. Have had some good nights at this bar and met some great people.
My neighborhood bar. I come here regularly after work. Stop by and say hi at the round table. Lovely atmosphere, great people. Very nice and experienced pool players come here. Some cool dance parties starting Thursday until Saturday night. Come check this place for yourself.
Its a fun atmosphere but the music every weekend seems like the same playlist. The crowd is fun. Cover charge is $7.
There Guinness was decent. But the overall atmosphere was not very welcoming. Crowded and loud.
Great place to go out on Friday and Saturday night, and dance. The drinks are good. The bartenders are friendly. There is usually a $5-$7 cover charge thats non-redeemable. There is probably a 5-10 minute wait in line on Friday and Saturday nights
Fun atmosphere with a small dance floor. Great for a casual night of drinks and dancing! Music was good as well, mainly top 40s with some throwbacks as well.Washrooms are a little small and dingy (warning for women), but overall enjoyed my time here and would go back!
Came here on a Saturday. They had a live DJ and decent priced drinks. The only thing that caught be off guard was there was a $5 cover. Havent been to a place that charged cover in a while.
0 stars if possible. The bouncer has an attitude problem and the drinks are so overpriced. Seriously avoid this place if you want any type of decent service. By far the worst of the worst place on Castro street, it’s not even close. It’s probably the worst bar in California. Save some money and go anywhere else
Bar tenders are always nice and the music is always good! Mollys is easily the best place to party in Mountain View on any given weekend.
This is the perfect four-star bar. The prices are right, and the company is good, so Im giving it an extra star. There are a lot of great Restaurants nearby that have Bars, but this is the best Bar on Castro. There is a large community of fun, nice regulars, with a good mix of those in, and outside of the Tech Crowd. The seats are not new, but thats a good thing: you know that they care about pouring drinks and taking care of customers, not trying to draw in fleeting trendy, drinkers (Steins takes care of this crowd just fine). The seats are comfortable, and all of them support my girth properly. Job Done.
Been coming here for years and its one of my favorites. Most of the bar tenders are amazingly chill and I love all the sister Magee bars in Sunnyvale and Santa Cruz but this one has pool. I dont recommend dance nights Thursday-Saturday because personally the DJs arent great and its a tiny floor. Im not high class and prefer dive bars but it attracts the low class club type people who wont ever actually fight but love creating drama. Other than dance time though is the best.
Not exactly a five star pub but we always have the best nights at Molly. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the booze is well stocked and there is a pool table with loads of locals. They dont serve food but you can bring food in and there is always football playing.
Always crowded on weekend nights. There is no dress code and people come in all styles. Good or bad is your choice, but sometimes it gets a bit ghetto. Music is a mix of hip hop, house and top 40. The outdoor patio in the back is a nice quieter area.
Irish Pub, good choices of beer and they have a whiskey night. Food is pretty standard pub food and has stayed remarkably consistent over many years. Used to go there once a month but since we moved it is much harder to get by the old place. Drop in. Friendly staff good prices lots of TVs for sports.
Molly MaGees is kinda a shitty bar but I love it. The people are hit and miss but I usually have a pretty good time especially once the dance floor is filled. They play top 40 but its a good mix. I love the decor and lighting and the back patio is a nice alternative to relax and talk. Also easy access to exits which is great for smokers
Nice atmosphere inside and out. Not too crowded on weekdays but never empty. Weekends are exciting and always fun here. Great beer selection and lots of seating.
Full disclosure: I went with my uncle, whos installing a new jukebox. This was the first time I ever set foot in Molly Magees. Ive driven by many times but never went in (Im just not the bar type primarily because I cant STAND beer (except for use in a recipe or on my hair!) and dont do straight hard liquor (yuck!)).But I have to admit I was impressed. At the time of my visit (around 10:30 a.m.), the place was closed (thanks in part to COVID), but the owner, Liam Bafle, was hoping to open in time for St. Patricks Day. So I didnt see it as most would. I saw it in the full light of day...and, wow, was I impressed. Seriously, its a GORGEOUS pub. The atmospheric décor is perfect, and all that FABULOUS wood paneling and at the bar! Perfect. Oh, and the copper lincrusta on the upper portions of the walls--wonderful! It really is a lovely establishment (which may not be the sort of compliment one wants to hear about a BAR, but, well, the interior decorator in me couldnt help but be impressed). As to the sorts of things offered, well, there are plenty of tables for chatting with friends or coworkers at the end of a long day. Theres a pool table for those who enjoy the gentlemanly sport. Theres a dance floor (it lights up!) for dancing--and a DJ (youd need to check the days/hours for his schedule). Theres outdoor dining (dont know if theres food offered here, but I would assume at least appetizers) plus three of the biggest TV screens (also outside), plus (my uncle told me this--I didnt actually see it) an outdoor bar! And, of course, a new jukebox courtesy Steve Apker at Outer Limits Amusement Services (shameless familial plug, I know 😉).If youre looking for a way to unwind after work or maybe a get-to-know-you first date or whatever the occasion, try Molly Magees. It seems to me as if it would be a great place let off some end-of-the-workday/week steam or just to sample the various brews on tap (not that that would be MY preference, of course). Oh, and I should say that I mentioned Ive driven by numerous times--well, each time, the place has been PACKED and full of lively banter (which, yes, you can hear if you drive with the windows down), which seems to be a great advertisement to the places overall atmosphere. Its a popular destination.Side note: This would absolutely be a place Id love to use in one of my novels (yes, Im also an authoress (writing as A.J.)--my first novels just come out (yes, I know: shameless personal plug!)). I can already see it used in a date scene or maybe a murder mystery or... I dont often feel inspired to create a scene in most places I visit, but this place really did have such wonderful atmosphere. Id just have to get the owners permission. (Oh, and speaking of owners... If you love accents, youre in for a treat. Mr. Bafle has a LOVELY Irish brogue. You just cant help expecting to see one of the wee folk smoking a pipe and downing a Guinness at the bar! Its perfect!)
This has been for couple of years and currently one of my places to go to in south bay. Decent entry fee casual wear, really cool beats with variety of tunes different genre of music making it a good diversity in crowds, and in the back outside overhead heating spot w a bar to hang w friends and chill. Dance floor is cool as well yet gets crowded easily cuz it is small but ppl usually dance anywhere else they can.
Complete rip off. Charged us 25$ for mezcal casamigos. 🤦
Nice Irish pub, with a great selection of draft beers. Plus all you can eat peanuts, where you often times just toss the shells on the floor. The bartenders little crusty, but its a nice pub.
Worst customer services ever. Avoid this place as much as you can.Happen to be in Mountain view area on Thursday night with girlfriend and wanted to have a drink at 1:15 am at this place.Since they were going to close at 1:30 am I though they will let us in to get our drink ,while in my surprise the bouncer told me that we have to pay the full night cover charge!!! I was like why?!! This is 1:15 am and you are going to close with in 15 minutes, So why should we pay the full cover charge?!!!!Well fortunately Albertos lounge was less than 100 feet from them and they happily gave us our drink and we enjoyed their music for couple of minuets too.
A respectable local bar with a nice patio out back, a decent beer selection, marginal spirits selection, and good bartenders. There is a small dance floor which appears to attract a clubbing crowd after 10pm.There is also a coin operated pool table.
I came here on a Friday night with a friend, the music was great, they played current top 40’s and some HIP HOP, they also throw some 90’s hits. Drinks could be pricey, so I would recommend to get two or three shots before getting here. The only thing I was disgusted about was the crowd, I think 70 percent (generous calculation) of the girls and guys don’t wear deodorant, I am sure you have an idea which race and culture I am referring to. My friend and I could barely breathe on the dance floor, it was so sad to see stinky beautiful people, on top of that they were farting a lot. Next time I will go with a Febreze and start spraying at people armpits, if that could only be allowed .
An Irish bar in downtown Mountainview which has a dance floor and DJ during the weekends at night. It can get very crowded and there is a cover charge after 9 p.m. Its a fun place with a group of friends or if you just want to sit back and drink beer.
Was there for drinks and to play some table pool but ended up staying for their club music. Im not sure if they charge a cover fee since we were there before they started charging. Didnt have any food, only drinks.
One of the best clubs in the area with a great crowd and best DJs..Drinks are a little expensive but almost equal to the surrounding clubs..Cover charge is a little cheaper compared to other clubs nearby.. It was 7 dollars on a Saturday night while opal charged 10 and monte carlo charged 20 dollars.
Good prices, fun vibe and DJ, nice bartenders, and most importantly for a bar, great security. I had a really rude crass guy approach my group and say inappropriate things, and one of the security guards noticed that the interaction seemed uncomfortable for us and immediately escorted the rude guy out of the bar. 100 for great awareness and quick action and plus 10 for wearing kilts.
Our bartender was a nice gentleman who cracked small jokes here and there (I think he was referencing a Leprechaun one time when I asked if he was the only one currently working that Monday night). He also covered our drinks while he allowed us to BYOF(food) from the Vietnamese restaurant across the street. Great space with a lot of seating options and games in the back (like billards!)
Great place to drink, meet people, and watch games. World cup featured now, opening early for it. It is an Irish pub with a weekend club twist. Dont be stupid, try it for yourself and make up your own mind.
Looked like a great place to hangout with friends, good music. Bar tenders tend to be too occupied and might take a while just to pour you a beer
Amazing place to hang out with friends after a hard days work. Can get crowded real soon after 10 pm. Great music and dance floor makes this place very fun.
Mostly go to Mollys for a night out, the place can get pretty crowded and its a varied crowd. The dance floor can get cramped and sometimes there are too many oldies for my liking, but its always a fun night for dancing and you can get service pretty quickly at the bar.
A pub with a lot of character. Go and check by yourself. A lot of beer to pick, a pool to play, and a dancefloor to make a fool out yourself (thats why bars are for, right). Definitely a place which You want to visit if youre in MTV and have a little bit of free time.
Nick is a gross bartender. I have him a twenty and he changed me for $10.Do NOT patronize this business if you weren’t born and raised in the Bay Area. They discriminate against “non-natives” while at the same time lacking appreciation for the added business we give them by being in the Bay Area.
The vibe here is really cool, you can come alone or with a bunch of friends and be assured of a great time drinking, dancing or just chilling. The only down side is that they close at 1:30am (same as other bars in the city)
I love this place, it gets pretty crowded and for a good reason. The music is always changing 💃. Most bartenders are amazing and kind, others are just cruel. This will always be my casual party night place 😘
So much fun. I hated dancing with a mask on but Im thankful to this establishment for putting safely first. Great music, drinks, atmosphere & staff.
Was just there and they had four taps from Russia River brewing. Sanctification, blind pig, Pliny and a stout. Worth going to just to try all of those beers.
Would give it a 4 1/2 if there was a button. Great dance floor, lively bartenders and delicious drinks. But the crowd was less than desirable.
Im gonna tell you a story about Molly Mcgees. In the early 2000s I was recently divorced, depressed and extremely lonely. My friend introduced me to this place and I found a home there. I danced, I met new people, I became whole again and its because of this magical place. I come back every so often and yes this place has the same magic. This place is amazing. I just hope it can help you the way it helped me
Fun place to go out in the weekend in mountainview. You can dance or hang out on the back open bar area. Good beer 🍻 selection. Not trendy like San Francisco.
Pretty much as close to a laid back bar that you can find in Mountain View! Highly recommend if youre just looking for a place for a drink. Fun and open atmosphere with friendly service and plenty of options.
Great dive bar with a nice outdoor seating area.
Great Irish bar unless you want a Black and Tan. No Bass Ale. Cost them a star on the rating. Great patio area. Place is usually bumpin.
One of my regular places. The music is always good. Theres always a great crowd and the drinks are cheap. Before 10pm cover is $7
Irish pub playing American 70’s rock. I was really hoping for some Tommy Makem or Liam Clancy. Staff wasn’t terribly friendly. Not a bad experience but not over the top.
Nice place and a lively environment. The place could do with some tidying up though... We had a couple of dirty to go boxes lying on the table from the folks who left it there from before and no one came to pick it up all the time we were there...
Chill spot. No pressure, easy access to the bar from front and back of building. Favorite spot for a beer and game in DT MTV
Went there and asked about cover and one of the doormen started grabbing my pockets without even warning me- a good way to get knocked out. The old Irish bartender serves you when he feels like it and is basically a dick. Go to Stevens Green a few doors down, much friendlier.
Nice place to hangout with friends, the last time we have a ugly sweater party and looks that other people did the same, it was very full but as you know, more people more fun. Sometimes they have good dancing music, just sometimes 💁🏻♀️
The dance floor on Friday night was a fun time, throwing back to pop hits from the 90s and 00s. Good beer selection, and good competition at the pool table.
Come here on a Saturday night to get a true anthropological study on the younger crowd in Mountain View. There is a dance floor and usually a DJ spinning top hits and some oldies as well. Tons of characters.
Irish pub by day. Night club by night. Strict security and a cover charge at night. If you want drunken partying and dancing in MTV, this is your spot. Nice outside patio during day time
Not only is this a well themed restaurant/bar. It is an amazing place to relax and grab a beer or two or three. The theme really matches Irish Molly McGee.
A group of 6 or so were able to crowd around some long tables in the back. Good beer selection.
One of my favorite go to bars in Mountain View I have no bad reviews for this place. All the bartenders are awesome and the vibe is perfect it gives you a little bit of everything this is the place to be!
I cannot come inside if I was smoking while standing in the queue. I’ve stepped out of the queue if that’s the rule. They didn’t let me in because I was smoking outside. I’ve spend around $50 bucks before that and they didn’t let me in again just because I was smoking outside. Just ridiculous. Don’t try please. There are many good places to go other than this one.
Google asks that I share details of my experience. Unfortunately I do not recall any. Must mean this is a quality joint! In seriousness, the drinks are cheap, strong, and the peanuts are free. What more do you want?
I wish this place was more like Fibbar MaGees, but no dice. Castro could really benefit from another chill place to have a drink, but alas, there is only Bierhaus. Mollys could be that place if you come at the right time. The beer selection is excellent, and if you happen by when there isnt a game playing, or a DJ playing, its pretty good. But otherwise, there are bouncers, cover-charges and dress-codes which is utterly bizarre to me. Honestly, if you want a pounding DJ and a dress code, Opal is just down the road...
Drink were way too expensive for the quality
Absolutely the best! Must go must eat. Service is amazing. Highly recommend.
I love dancing here. Always a ton of people and the bartenders are always on top of there drinks. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good time.
This is not my favorite bar on Castro Street, its not even my favorite Irish bar on Castro Street. The atmosphere here is not very Irish and they dont have food. Id rather be at St. Stephens Green down the block.
This is a chill semi-dive Irish pub in downtown Mountain View. They have a large beer selection, pool tables, lots of seating, and an outdoor back patio. At night, theres a small dance floor that gets packed with drunken dancers. Its an okay bar, but I like the scene at Stephens Green better.
Great Dj and good mix of people. Its a cool spot to go hang out and especially if you like to dance so check it out for yourself.
Club is good security guard so racist
If I recall correctly, two beers cost me $22 plus tip. Between that, the congestion on the streets around it, and the 15 minutes it took to find parking, skip this place.
Great vibe, with an eclectic group of people...Service is on the ok side, but the ambience makes up for it. Good spot to get a drink and dance!
The favorite local pub. The staff is great and always do their best to attend to the customers. The dance floor is small yet it always fills up. That says something 😉
BYOF: bring your own food! Free peanuts though. Hot dogs on football games sundays and mondays.Tuesdays: bourbons and rye whiskeys$ 1/2 offWednesdays: scoth whiskey$ 1/2 off!!Plenty of craft beers and irish beers.Thur Fri Sat nights are dj nights!
Alr i been to this one twice and i like it ! i gone with my bf
I was there on a Sunday night, the bar tender started to shout at one of the customers and said until that guy leaves I wont serve to anyone!! Why do I have to do feel the tension if the bar tender is not ok with a customer?!?
Always a great place to visit. If you go earlier in the day you have a smaller crowd. I like it less crowded.
Good place if you want to shake and have some drinks with your companion. This is next door to Opal club which are one among few places to have fun in Mtn view downtown.
Great place for true Irish beer from Dublin. Bar is friendly and a fun place to hang out.
Over priced drinks, dirty drink lines, music was good but the sound system was kinda terrible. Nice bartenders and security staff though.
Love whiskey Wednesdays. Half off on Irish and Japanese whiskey. No food though, but you can order from nearby restaurants and theyll bring the food to you at the bar!
Amazing retro club ambience. Great music and weird hand stamps for entry. One of the best clubs on Castro Street, Mountain View.
If I can give them no stars I would their dress code policy is listed nowhere on their website and we drove quite a ways just to get there only to be told we couldn’t get in because my brother was wearing cotton pants seriously bs I’d give them zero stars if I could
Cool Thursday night spot. Jose Melendez from 94.9 sometimes DJs.Music: R&B, Hip Hop and Top 40 mixed with some random stuff here n there.
You average almost dive almost Irish pub. My wife did get punched by a guy here one time though so 4 stars is more than fair.
Sunday to Wednesday is the best time to go. The bartenders are all amazing especially will and Desmond. Wednesday is the best time to go as its whiskey Wednesday.
Its a very nice place I just wish the bartenders were more attentive to receiving new people in order to buy the drinks as well!!!
Very nice place, full of great people. Huge variety of beers and snacks. You can watch game inside. Totally recommend.
Had been there one time...small pub and dance stage but good atmosphere and energy. Bartenders are pretty cool too.
Meh. It was ok but know theres no food, and the bartender cant make an Old Fashioned. That said, they have Pliney the Elder on tap so it kinda makes up for the lack of food
Great bar, has a dance floor and things get crazy after midnight when everyone starts to join. DJ is courteous, plays your request.
Really nice bar to get some drinks. They have special deals depending on the day. Tuesday its my favorite.
Affordable beer, free peanuts, big screens, pool table aka your friendly neighborhood bar. If you want something fancy look elsewhere.
Got here at 9:30pm and it wasnt too crowded but still werent acknowledged till after 30 min. But good place to drink and chill with friends.
Not much of an Irish pub...they dont have food...turns into a common club on the weekends...drinks are pricey...the good is the staff was super friendly
Lot of beer options and tasty things on tap. No food, only one pool table and is pretty much just regulars which are old men.
Great drinks selection with cool offers each night. Bar staff make it feel like home!
Every time were in town for work, we go to this place. Good atmosphere, not too loud, tons of great whiskeys.
I always have a great time here. Drinks are not overpriced. Music and dance floor are just perfect.
Amazing place with good music (during the weekends great to dance), the personal is always polite and helpful, good prices, Ill say one of my favorites places in Mountain view
Love Mollys for the drinks, but you have to have food delivered. They have a number of local take out menus and hand and have recently partnered with Zume pizza.
Great place and lovely atmosphere. Here is a beautiful dance floor crowdy bar but politely.
A fun place to hang out, and a lot bigger inside than it looks outside. Just be aware they dont serve food - you have to bring your own.
Great spot for having drinks with friends, dancing, playing pool or going to the back patio if you want a quieter place to talk
One bartender. no other staff. he was running like crazy. i could not ask questions. i asked for half a pint. got half a glass. this was after waiting a long time to get attention
If youre looking for a quiet place to drink Mollys is great just be sure to leave before 9, thats when it turns in to a club.
What a bar. Probably my favorite spot in Mountain View. Cheap, strong drinks and good deals on the beer of the day. Great vibe.
The only pub in MTV that was open till late. The bartender was good. Went with friends and had a good time.
They serve slugs in your beer for added protein intake.
Irish bar in downtown mountain view. Charges cover on a Saturday night, good beer selection and they have live music.
Can get crowded at night. Need more analysis on crowd quality. With limited options, this is a good holdover spot during a pub crawl.
They have a really nice collection of draft beer, the music is not that great and sometimes they charge cover!
Whiskey Wednesday is half price whiskey from a great list of Irish and Domestic staples. Bring your own food.
Great atmosphere, ample seating, exceptional bar service, strong tasty drinks. Recommended!
Good place to watch play games. Bar atmosphere and reception is great, I would like to go back for happy hour.
This place aint the classiest bar youll ever go to, but its the best night life scene in Mountain View.
Great bar with a fantastic atmosphere. Loved the bartender!
Great attentive bartenders, mellow vibe.. worth the visit. Parking can be challenging during farmers market...
Quite ghetto but the club plays better music with the right dj spinnin
Local bar which turns into a great night spot. Small dance floor but it gets crowded and its a fun easy going crowd.
Great sports bar, hip hop ambiance, awesome patio out in the back.
Awesome chill place to relax and get a bite or a pint. Bring your friends and have a fun night!
Ive had fun here but its also wayyy too loud to the point that my ears physically hurt.
Nice place with all known n old groovy music to dance to, drinks are not cheap and the strength is weak, guess they pour less alcohol.
Love this place, friendly faces, pool table and yea bring ur lunch in to drink with the wide selections of drink.
Not what it used to be, it even felt a little unfriendly towards those of us of the hispanic type. Per haps it was just towards me. In that case, I cant blame them.
Convenient bar and pub in downtown Mountain View. A nice place for happy hour and drinks. There are a lot of nearby restaurants for a full meal.
Getting ready to open for inside dining. Big bar, outside heated seating out back. Plenty of parking out back as well.
I love getting take out from a neighboring restaurant (usually Poke Works), and bringing it to Molly Magees to eat with a nice draft beer.
Amazing atmosphere really chill bar and super fun dance floor
Expensive drinks with a mediocre DJ. Place is pretty small. Sometimes they charge a cover.
Great for drinks n dance... If youre looking for an opportunity go hit the place
This place is nice but it can get really crowded as it is one of the few late bars in Mountain View. There is also a cover charge on weekend.
Love to come here to watch the warriors games. Bar tender is great and so is the huge beer list.
Nice bar for simple drinks, friendly staff, cool industrial antique vibe.
This place is one gem of a place! Amazing vibe, good drinks and awesome conversations.
Fun pub to celebrate with friends. Music is fairly loud, so expect some yelling to be able to communicate.
Used to hang out here 20 yrs ago. Typical Irish pub. noisy and inundated with millennials now
Good selection of beers on tap. The back patio is nice spot to enjoy good weather
Best bar in downtown mountain view. The bouncers are funny and great. Especially the front door guy lol
Decent if your not Irish dont expext to be a priority but thats normal i guess
Slightly sleazier than the nearby St.Stephens, but I like that in a pub... Kind barkeeps, relaxed atmosphere, not too much sports :-)
One of my favorite bars/dancing places on the peninsula
Great place to grab some beers and hangout with friends. Good options and very diverse beers.
Good Irish beer options and well located with good restaurants around if bar food doesnt suffice.
Irish pub. Decent beer selection. Sports on TV (this if minus one star from me but might be your cup of tea).
Great place for a conversation over a drink or two. Never too noisy or crowded
Good selection of bears and drinks. The sound is horrible in this place, specially on DJs nights. There is no food as well..
