I recently visited [NewYou Spa & Massage] for an $80 massage, hoping for a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. The massage did not relieve my body pain or provide any relaxation. Additionally, I did not enjoy the massage at all during the session. The masseuse, an older lady, struggled with English and had difficulty understanding my requests. For the price, I expected a much better experience. I would not recommend this spa.i would never come again.

If you want a deep tissue massage that will work out all that tension - this is the place to go! The staff was very friendly and professional and the two ladies that did our couples 1 hr massage did an outstanding job! Cost was very respectable !! I had my first massage here yesterday and let me tell you…it was amazing! While it’s not a typical “spa” experience with all of the paperwork and bells and whistles it was still one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Julia is amazing! She worked out all of the knots and tension. It was a very aggressive massage but that’s what I was looking for. I felt so good afterwards and still do a day later. If you want an actual stress relieving detoxing massage Julia is your girl!

Always enjoy coming here for the real deal deep tissue Thai style massage, especially when I have aching joints and muscles!

I have been a licensed massage therapist, and not only to state of Tennessee, but other states for over 16 years.01/12/24 I had THE WORST MASSAGE EXPERIENCE EVER. From the second I walked in a - huge HIPAA violation!!!! nobody was at the front desk and a clipboard with countless clients names and information was out for all to see. I thought it was a sign in sheet. As I flip through just seeing a bunch of information I shouldnt be seeing.I was then taken to a room that had three massage tables, and 2 door openings. I assume to be a couples room normally- but there wasn’t a single client in here on a Friday that I saw.The doors only sheer curtains, that you can see and obviously hear through. I was told to place my dirty belongings on a clean massage table that was in the room. So a sanitation violation as well being there was no place to put my clothes that I have been wearing other than on a clean table that eventually someone else is going to lay on.There was no health history form for me to fill out the “therapist” Asked if I wanted oil for my muscles, but failed to tell me what exactly was in the oil.I was never asked if I had any underlying health conditions, any allergies any contraindications! I signed nothing! Filled out nothing!And thank goodness I am a therapist and I know these things because if it was someone who was getting their first massage, or had no idea, they would be putting themselves in an extremely dangerous situation. To work on someone and not know what medication they’re taking, what their health history is like, pregnant, injured, etc… or if they may be contraindicated for massage altogether! It is extremely unethical and dangerous!As retired massage instructor, which I also am. I have never ever had a student run their forearms over my spine and boney landmarks as much as this so-called therapist did. I haven’t had a professional massage in over two years because I’m a single mother working and I didn’t last 45 minutes on that table because it was so painful and such a complete and total waste of my money.I asked to use the bathroom only to get the “therapist” out so I could get dressed and leave. Never in my life have I left a complaint like this and never in my life have I ever walked out of a massage that I was paying for!!! In 16 years!I specifically asked twice to have my neck and back worked on. TWICE on the table and once prior to getting on the table. My neck was never even touched. And this therapist thought using elbows on a non-deep tissue massage two seconds in without even warming up the tissue and underlying fascia was a good idea. Any therapist in their right mind knows that is a huge no-no!!!!! And instead of feeling better now I’m at home and I’m in pain.Once I asked to get off the table, my so-called therapist left only to walk back in on me while I was getting dressed. No knock… no door. So on top of everything, this therapist has now seen me naked and while I was getting dressed, they had their cell phone sitting next to my clothes on the other massage table being used a a hamper- with the camera lens pointing up at me! For a minute I thought it was my cell phone because why would anything with a camera be out in a room with someone who is naked? Any therapist knows you are not to have anything with a camera on it!!!!!! That’s why we use clocks!!!!I have never felt so violated, and ignored by a so-called business and therapist after such an unprofessional encounter. If you have a client leaving in the middle of a service that says all you need to know!As someone in the business, I wouldn’t send a family member here. You’re better off going to a massage envy paying half as much and getting way better massage.I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as the massage board because it’s been over 48 hours and this business still refuses to contact me about my experience.

I have gotten massages multiple times and this one was very different. I booked the appointment due to the availability and price. I never filled out any type of consent form to highlight what exactly I was wanting to gain from this massage like stress relieving, focus areas, or even areas that are sensitive. Once under the sheet she asked if I had any focus areas I said no I just want to relax mostly. At that point she recommended aromatherapy which I agreed to. The massage was good but I was uncomfortable with the amount of pressure on my upper back. It was not unbearable but not exactly relaxing. At some point during my session someone came into the room to I assume look for something and left the door open while I was being massaged and slightly exposed. I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable with this. I was also stretched out which was different from most massages I have experienced and I will say I enjoyed that.However I will not be recommending this place to anyone I know specifically because I was never asked if I had any sensitive areas and my door was left open while being massaged. My neck and upper back is VERY sore 12 hours after a regular massage not deep tissue. I think if you have no sensitive areas or pre existing injuries this is the place for you. I just will not be returning. I will also say I was never given a price only online for $80 and I knew the aromatherapy was $10 extra. I can assume there was $5 tax on my debit card because my total was $95. At the end of the day I do feel more relaxed with a sore neck/ upper back.

Julia was so sweet !! I recommend this place hands down, it’s a real gem. I let her know what was hurting the most and she asked what I wanted her to focus on the most. I enjoyed our conversation and she made me feel comfortable. THANKS JULIE ! I will be back.

We had a one hour couple massage. This is our first massage ever, Tina and Julie were amazing! As soon as we got back to the car, my husband and I both said we will have to make an appointment there every month. Salon is very clean and they are very professional. 10/10 recommend. We feel so relaxed and my whole body feels amazing. They got every single knot and tight muscle

I called and they were able to get me an appointment the same day. My massage lady was Julie and needless to say, she was wonderful. I kept trying different massage places in town to find one that fit, and this was the place. Other places, the masseuse would always talk, sniff my hair (weird, I know), and just use too much pressure. Julie used the best pressure, was very friendly and made me feel very relaxed. She worked out a lot of the knots in my neck and shoulders, and while I’m a tad sore, it’s expected because it’s been awhile. I’ve told my fiancé about here, and he is interested in going as well. Ive been to NewYou Spa twice for massages, Both times I had a great experience! The massage tables are heated which was a first for me. Before getting started I was asked what areas on my body needed the most work, they got extra attention and they feel so much better (hips and shoulders). Tina and Julie were both polite and professional and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend this spa, both Tina and Julie really worked on my knots and tried to fix my pain.Tinas closing appointment canceled and she gave me extra time for free to keep working on my shoulder. You definitly will not regret the visit!

The spa was beautiful and I loved the decor. I read the reviews and booked a massage session with Tina Lin. The massage table was a very firm table. She removed the pillow that was supposed to support and slightly elevated my feet. The massage was a bit strange with the odd stretches, twist and pulling of the feet, legs, arms and back. Which is my main complaint, the next day, I woke up with a very painful back strain suffered for days. I expected to be sore since I received massages from several other places for over 20 years. This is not soreness but a pulled muscle strain in the middle of my back. With the combination of the firm table, removal of the pillow support and odd stretches, pulling and twist caused me pain hat I never experiences after receiving a massage in which is the complete opposite of what I should have expected. The massage was so odd, I dont think it was a professional massage. Never again!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I had a facial and a massage with Tina and it was absolutely the most amazing I have ever had. She paid so much attention to detail, and was incredibly thorough. I am telling you Tina has magic hands! I will be going back monthly for both her facials and massages. I cant recommend this place enough! If you are looking for the royal treatment from a spa, NewYou Spa & Massage is the place to go.

Best waxing I have ever had. Tina was very professional and I enjoyed talking with her. Had a facial with Alex and a massage with Tina. Alex was great and very professional. Was able to give me a lot of info regarding future skin care routines that work best for my skin type. Tinas massage left me a little more sore afterwards than I have been with any other massages Ive received. She did a lot of elbow work in a lot of areas that def could have been a more gentle process. Was expecting a more relaxing experience with the massage and something perhaps a little less teeth gritting.

Just had a Luxury Facial with Tina and OMG was it amazing!!!! Every part of it was perfect. The products smelled so good and relaxing. Lots of extractions which I love. But the part that really sold me was the facial massage! I’ve never had such a good facial massage! So relaxing. And my skin is glowing now. Will 100% be back many more times.

Absolutely love this place and the staff!! Everyone’s so sweet and the massage was great! I explained where my problem spots were and it was focused on but the rest of my body was not forgotten. Terrible experience. This was my very first massage experience and will be my last. My appointment time started at 10am and no one was there. Julia did not get there until 10:07 very unprofessional. Already I was disappointed. I expected to be on the massage bed at 10 am because that was what we booked it for. Julia before we started asked if I have ever had cupping done before, which I have since I am an athlete. I get cupping done regularly multiple times a week by my physical therapist so I absolutely knew what to expect. I automatically felt uncomfortable when she was massage my neck and yet had my whole back and bottom exposed. I’ve heard by multiple people who have had massages done in the past that only what they are working on should be exposed. So while she was working on my neck my whole bottom is exposed ?When she started cupping I knew something was off. She left them on for a very long extended period of time and i was in extreme pain. Like I said I get cupping done regularly and I know it can be uncomfortable at times but never to the point where you’re in extreme pain. Once the massage was over I asked if I was good to go since my mother paid and tipped as a birthday gift to myself. Julia said “no you need to tip” then I pulled up a picture of the receipt and called my mom who indeed left a tip. julia told me 3 times I need to tip. Once my mom was on the phone she confirmed That she did tip and I could leave. once i got in the car I cried the whole way to work. I finally got to take a look at my back where she cupped me and i was in disbelief. Cupping leaves red marks that last a few days yes, but I have gigantic BLACK circles. BLACK!!! My back is extremely swollen and I’m in terrible pain when I move. After I showed my mom she immediately called up there and then I get a text from Julia herself saying I knew what to expect and she doesn’t see the issue. Extremely Unprofessional. I do don’t recommend at all.

I got a 90min full body massage with Tina and it was absolutely amazing! She is very attentive, sweet, and caring! She listen to all your body needs and definitely worked out the knots in my back shoulders and neck. The environment is so clean and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

I just had the most enjoyable massage experience! I was getting my nails done close by and had an hour to kill. I honestly wasn’t expecting a lot or to even get in on such short notice but I did! It was perfect and much much needed! That was seriously the best massage I’ve had that I can remember! My therapist was a sweetheart and took such care of me. I have some back trouble and shoulder trouble as well. She seemed to have a deep knowledge of the body and it’s muscles to work out all my kinks! The whole staff was so nice and genuinely appreciative of my business! I will be back again and again!

Tina was a breath of fresh air! I am so used to a quick (often too quick) eyebrow thread and being on my way from other places but Tina put me back on eyebrow waxing with the way she took her time and made you feel like you were doing a full blown spa treatment just for your brows. I could not be happier with the experience, services & customer service. New you turned me into a returning customer without any hesitation. Tina Lin gave an amazing facial! This was my first time getting and facial. I was a little worried because I have very sensitive skin, but it did not irritate my skin or make me itchy at all. The environment was very welcoming and comfortable. My skin was glowing and super soft afterwards. I will definitely be back for another service.

It was by chance that I chose this establishment while searching on Google for “someone who wax eyebrows”. I arrived to my appointment with a pleasant exchange of customer service. Ms. Tina rendered my brow, facial and foot massage in an environment that was clean and serene. I really enjoyed the experience! Tina is a very genuine and compassionate business owner . I have received several massages & skin treatments from Tina in the last couple years . Her touch is so soft & gentle . She is highly educated in advance skin care treatments , has a very gentle hand & performs a superb service .Certain treatments are not going to be 100% comfortable like peels , extractions ,waxing or dermabrasion , however , as a fellow skin care professional I can assure you she & the other employees takes all the extra steps to make sure you are comfortable & leave GLOWING !Her massages leave me feeling rejuvenated the next day ! Her facials are so relaxing that I fall asleep ! Not to mention you will almost always see a result the first time you see Tina ! If you are looking for a nice relaxing spa experience with a professional, I would highly recommend! I’m originally from Orlando Florida and have been on the search for an amazing esthetician, it has been a challenge finding someone here in Murfreesboro that actually makes you feel welcome and cares. Tina has such a great energy and I’m so grateful I found her! The bed was nice and warm and the atmosphere is so inviting! Everything is extremely clean. Do not hesitate to book your next facial! I did not expect to be massaged during the facial and I was wrong, the massage was just what I needed, I will be booking a full body massage next because I can only imagine.

Tina Lin is amazing. She listened to my concerns of lacking of hydration and tightness of the skin. The massages during the facial took all the tightness out of my shoulders and neck leaving me completely relaxed.The location is beautifully decorated and the spa music is perfect. I left New You over an hour ago and I am eating dinner here at Jonathons, next door, and I just thought to myself that my New You massage I had tonight, made me feel like a BRAND NEW ME!!! Tinas massage was hands down the best Ive EVER had, and I go to get a massage every single week and have been doing so for at least 10 years in a row, now. New You Spa has the best professional atmosphere and you get the best service for the price. They are VERY respectful of your privacy and they pay very close attention to your concerns and needs. Everyone at New You genuinely cares about providing you the best possible service. The business is new but the staff have years of experience. I highly suggest you book an appointment with them before the local film and music industry starts using them exclusively. Having had a previous stylist who became a stylist for the film industry I know what Im talking about. Seriously, theyre that good. We are lucky to have them.

I had the most amazing and relaxing experience, and Ms. Tina was SO AMAZING! I did the *Signature Facial* and left with glowing skin and noticeably clearer pores! I cannot recommend treating yourself to a facial enough! I can’t wait to come back for the Microdermabrasion treatment next time!

This was my first time at NewYou Spa and my first facial ever. I had the signature facial with dermal infusion. Tina was fantastic and very friendly. It was a very pleasant, relaxing experience (much needed) and my skin looks and feels great. I look forward to my next visit.

The massage was alright, but there were a few things that concerned me. I wasn’t asked to sign any consent forms nor was I asked about any medical history/massage needs. The massage therapist didn’t introduce herself and barely talked before the massage. I felt a little too exposed throughout the massage and uncomfortable with some of the movements she did. On a less concerning note, it was a little cold and I only had a thin sheet to cover me. Not the most comfortable experience, physically or emotionally.

You’re out of your mind if you go here. Tina is the biggest joke. I booked my appointment a week in advance and received a text to confirm my appointment the day of. F I V E minutes later I get this text: “ I assume that you are not coming. I am canceling your appointment”.So, I made plans and cleared my schedule for an appointment and because I didn’t reply immediately she canceled. For the best! I can only imagine what kind of damage she would have done being as she is clearly rude.

I was in town with a friend and had the day to kill so I decided to book a massage to finally help deal with some neck and shoulder pain I had been experiencing for about two weeks. Not being from the area, I was searching for spas that were open on Sundays, close to the hotel and had good reviews. I was so glad I found NewYou Spa because I really did leave feeling like a new me. It was the best massage I have ever had and I used to be a member at Massage Envy in St. Louis, so I have had my fair share of massages. Julia asked about my preferences and I told her what had been bothering me and she really listened and focused on my shoulders and neck but also found and relaxed spots of tension that I didnt realize I had. I really wish I lived closer so I could become a regular but I certainly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a quality massage.

This experience was the best I have had in all 7 years of getting massages. The treatment was incredible - perfect amount of pressure, comfort, and in a beautiful serene atmosphere. The owner is one of the most genuine people I have met in a long time. I will be going back time and time again.

I called to book a couples massage and was provided a date and time. Taking off work and driving an hour away to arrive at my appointment and they do not have my appointment their books. They did offer a 7:00pm time but considering I live further away and had other plans scheduled that wasn’t an option. If you call definitely ask for the name of the person who you scheduled with and for a confirmation reminder.

I own two businesses and have a two year old. To say I’m stressed and tense is an understatement. NewYou Spa & Massage lives up to their name! Honestly can’t thank Anna enough for making me feel brand new. I truly feel more than amazing each time I leave. I hope she never leaves because she is truly a blessing!

I went here for the first time to get a service that was new to me, a vagacial. Tina was the one who serviced me, and she was really welcoming and inviting. She talked to me like we were already friends, which made me ease up during the process. The whole spa environment is very intimate and serene. I will definitely be back, and recommend this place.

This was my first time. I had the hydra dermabrasion facial. Tina did an excellent job! She was very polite, informative, and held a pleasant conversation in the beginning. The space was very clean. I will definitely be returning. The only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was in the waiting area 10 min past my appointment time and there was no one in the reception area to greet me.

They were professional and very friendly. My friend and I got a facial which lasts an hour and it includes a face, neck and shoulder massage. Whats great is they will alter the facial to your skin needs and isnt a one shoe fits all. I definitely enjoyed it, and will be back. I got an appointment for a couple message. We were late the our appointment but Tina is very accommodating. She did not shorten our message time, she give us exactly 1 hour message. The place is new and clean. Tina get all my notch and I feel so refreshed afterward. I would highly recommend this place for message!!

Truly pathetic! Booked a Valentine’s Day couples massage through the website, selected a second therapist as directed, then was contacted at 8:20pm the night before and told “sorry we can’t keep your appointment, we have to cancel it and the only other option is to reschedule for another day”. I booked this appointment 2 weeks in advance! After speaking to the representative, she was not willing to help with anything and basically said tough luck. I will never go here, nor recommend anyone to this place. It is a joke! Good luck with Valentine’s Day plans. It doesn’t matter how far in advance you book your appointment!

I have seen Tina for 3 months for facials. I am a 49yr old with sun damage, freckles, dull skin, and clogged pores. I felt like a mess on my face. I stopped in last minute and was able to get what was hands down, the BEST massage Ive ever had. I went in with so much pain that I had to pull the car over and when I left I was in no pain at all. This was a horrible experience for me. I left sore instead of being relaxed and peaceful. Hours from getting my massage my back was sore from how hard Julia put her elbows in my back. Intentions of getting a deep tissue massage but this was painful. Never experienced a massage like this. I won’t be back

Drove to location, nobody there. Called # on door. No answer. Received text. Set 1:15 appointment. I agreed & suddenly it changed to 1:30. I asked to come early for paperwork, was told therapist will ask before starting. Used restroom. They need to store cleaning products & pick up. Room itself had only curtain on 1 side & 2 other tables. Mine ended up with damp sheets on a rock hard table. I walked out.

A massage always seems like there was not enough time, but the time I did have was very enjoyable. The place was dimly lit, nice soothing music played in the background, and it seemed i was the only other person there… I hope business is good and I just happened to be there while it was slow traffic, but not having a bunch of people was nice for me and I didn’t feel rushed.

Went for a Brazilian wax and was left with hair and wax on me. Probably the worse wax ever. She only used 4 strips of wax on me. I’ve been waxed many times before and only chose this place because it was open late night and close to home. NEVER AGAIN I’ll wait for my regular waxing salon to open up in Nashville.
