Up In Smoke

So now that I look I can see why this vape store has a 3 star rating and today I found out why. I was a recurring customer. I just spent $25 on a rift. Bar I had my receipt. And literally opened it the next day and came back the same day. It’s completely broken and no one asked me to open the box or else I would have. I don’t usually leave bad reviews for something like this, but every other vape store will send it back to the company they bought it from the fact that this company can’t take the extra step to look out for there own customers then I’ll take the extra step to go somewhere else and let other people know so this would not happen to them. Olivia I apologize for making it seem like this is your fault that’s policy, but at the same time, no one asked me to open up the device either. Left here with a sour taste in my mouth 🙄

They definitely have a unique selection. The Lost Mary Turbo is a force to be reckoned with! Some of the staff members are a bit more… direct than others.

Let me start with I’ve worked in customer service for several years. I’ve been here several times over the years and received great service, however, today I went to this place to purchase a cigar for my husband and the gentleman that helped us was great. I asked a question to the other girl working and she rolled her eyes and was talking under her breath behind the counter to the “new guy”. She was rude and disrespectful to the point that when I left I couldn’t help but go back to ask her name. When I asked the guy her name he said he wasn’t sure he could give me that information. So I asked him to go get her from the back so I could ask her myself. If I owned this place I would appreciate someone letting me know who was working for me. With such terrible customer service! Her name was Kimmie (but in case she gave me the wrong name she had purple hair).. There’s A LOT of competition in this business on Myrtle Beach. I can honestly say I will choose another option due to my experience today.

Employee has zero customer service skills rude and nasty. When asked simple pricing questions said he was not sure what any of the items were priced stormed off and walked away saying he was not dealing with me then refused to get anything. And finally after bypassing me with other people gets the items i needed and threw them at me. I would not recommend this place ever again for anyone.

Very cheap products. I was sold an aluminum dab tool( usually made of steel), it melted and burned my boyfriend when he was using. very dangerous to sell especially since inhalation of aluminum can cause severe mental damage such as alzheimers.

My experience here by far is one of the worst. We were staying at Myrtle Beach for a week and the employee name Marcus didnt ID us the very first time we came and not to mention we are definitely over 21 & went there a couple of times and never was ID but all of a sudden he wanted to ID this time.. not to mention we have seen him multiple times. We had to run back to our hotel because 10 o’clock we thought was the close time but it actually is 11 o’clock. After we came back with our IDs, he told us he forgot what we wanted.. and then also gave us is exactly the opposite of what we asked for. I was supposed to get Newport 100s and ended up getting Newport shorts. I guess that was his funny way of saying have a great night.

We bought a vape and when we got home to open it, it was leaking. So we went back to exchange it and they said the same cashier had to exchange it because only they would remember us, but that cashier wouldnt be back until the morning. We also noticed they double-charged us for the sunglasses we bought. The next day we went back and were able to exchange the vape and get more sunglasses because they wouldnt refund us for that. The vape isnt that great so we ended up tossing it. All in all, not a great shop! Seems to be alot more in the area though.

Worst experience ever in a smoke shop. Young man with twists had a very nasty attitude when I would inquire about certain items and was not knowledgeable about any of the products. I’ll find somewhere else to spend my money. Shroom candy bar was terrible quality compared to others I have had and was way overpriced. Find another smoke shop.and you’ll probably save money too.

Kimmie made the trip to this store, awesome!!! She explained so many things in the store!!! We will come to see her and shop, every time we visit MB.

The answer u get from the owner. When u go a few times have patience but nobody comes back when there sign says 5 minutes stayed 25 minutes nobody still back

Purchased 2 vapes and when i opened this one it did not work so I went into the store with the box to tell them and show them that it didn’t work, they didn’t care well it started blinking blue and then smoking and was boiling hot. DO NOT SHOP HERE the customer service was awful before I even complained about the vape. You walk in and no one speaks , they’re absolutely no help at all. OH and they didn’t ask for my ID 😌 ( as you can see in the photos it is lighting up blue which is supposed to happen when you smoke it, not while it’s sitting untouched)

The guy in the store has terrible customer service and no manners at all! I would never go in there ever again! Then I asked for the owner’s info and he wouldn’t give it to me! This was my first and LAST TIME going in there!

I just tried to go here and there was a sign that said be back in 5 mins. Had been there 5 mins and they said it would be another 5 or 10 mins. Lost my business and probably a few other who were trying to get in.Back again to also say been here several times more and no one has ever been there. Other people were mad and leaving also every single timeWill not be trying to go back again.

I had good customer service from Eduardo but unfortunately the product doesnt perform. After 3 days my vape is clogged and spits resin balls in your mouth. Save your money and go where the procuts are fresh as it seems the owner doesnt stand by his sales at all(see comment where owner responds that purchases are final).

Up in smoke is the worst vape store that I ever went to The bud that they have there is no good. Dont shop at up and smoke because you will be very very disappointed. Im telling you I smoked two of them and I aint even get nothing and I mean nothing straight garbage juice 🤬🤬🤬

Worst customer service ever. I mean, god forbid you call and ask what brand of merchandise something is, I was told “I don’t know, I just work here” I had to tell him all he needs to do is read the label. That, in turn also seemed like a problem. Unless they’re hiring people that can’t read English for whatever reason. The state with Child labor laws and ICE could have a field day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Go anywhere else, they don’t want business

Vape stopped working after just a few uses. When I went back to the store they simply told me sometimes it happens and they aren’t responsible for it after you leave. Refused a refund or exchange. Any store that won’t stand by its product and refuses to take care of its customers shouldn’t be in business. Don’t waste your money here. Update: The shop only offered getting in touch with the manufacturer after I filed a complaint with the BBB. But offered no assistance in who that was. The only reason a month had passed was that I don’t live in the area so that was when I was able to get back into the shop. Any reputable store stands by their products when they stop working and their responses make it clear they do not. Don’t buy defective products from this retailer, they clearly don’t care about their customers.

Just bought a promo pack of Al Capone Twin Pack. One cigar was defected. Merchant refused compensation.

When the lady is there she is short with long Brown hair she is very Nice and let you test Youre vape to make sure it works before you leave the store. Other times when I have went in the staff makes me feel Like I am bothering them because they are in conversations with friends. I will continue to shop there but I just dont treated rude. I spend forty dollars a week there and I think that they should be a little bit nicer to people.

I spent over a hun.and thats why i go to stores so when l get a bad product i can return it.when i went to return a VAPE orion (banana) the chubbY girl would not do anything to appease me.SHE WAS RUDE JUST LIKE A YANKEE WHO WENT SOUTH.STAY UP NORTH.PEOPLE IN THE SOUTH HAVE A WAY ABOUT THEM YOU WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND. Rude rude rude couldn’t have been more unfriendly. The gentlemen working evening of 8/5 didnt greet us when we walked in, just continued to stare at his phone with his ear phones in. Not a hello, welcome or anything . He couldn’t even give us a head nod acknowledging that that we walked in. But what was I thinking, that would have interrupted his YouTube video he was staring at. Went to Blue Smoke and they had better vape selection and amazing customer service. It makes all the difference.

The BEST smoke shop in the area! Ive been to the shop numerous times and each time they keep on getting better. Great owner, and employees. Super knowledgeable and the BEST prices on the beach. Take my advice your getting the best deal and your moneys worth on anything you buy here.

There are alot of places selling fake wraps and this is one of them. I spent $16 on a 5 pack of banana dream loose leaf cigars which i buy often. If youre going to sell fake wraps at least drop the price. I normally buy real ones for $10-$11. I knew they were fake when I opened them and the cigars were much smaller than usual. They did not smell at all like banana like they usually do. They smelled pretty bad. On real loose leaf cigars it should say season 2 on the back of the package. And it did not say that on their cigar packs. Stay away from this place.

I stopped in today 5-6 and bought 100ml vape juice I paid for it and walked out the door and turned around and went back in when I realized I was giving the freeze instead of the regular I asked the girl if I could switch it out being I was literally still in the store she refused. I understand all sales are final but I didnt even make it off the side walk I also tossed the juice back to her due to the fact I cant use the freeze I paid 30.00 for a product that was giving to me wrong and couldnt switch it out

The fact that I had my id and had a photo copy of the other person with me and they still said they couldnt sell to either of us. And you can clearly tell we are not minors. This was our first time and last time coming here.

I like that this place is close to home and they have good deals but the staff is awful and they could use some more variety of vape juices. Normally when you go into a smoke shop theyre upbeat and happy. This place I always feel like Im bothering or interrupting them. If Im driving and i see a smoke shop Ill stop but if i have to wait till i get home and go here Im kind of like Ugh. They need new staff.

One of my favorite smoke shops in the Myrtle Beach area. My main reason is simply because the Manager is one of the coolest & sweetest guys Ive met in this town! He is also very knowledgeable on mostly everything in the store. The employees, however, need to be trained in the products a little bit more for when they work alone, bc when Clouse isnt there, I rarly can get any (correct) information on anything I am inquiring about. The woman who did help me yesterday tho was VERYy helpful! Shebwas trying to locate a specific item for me for a while & she was not giving up! I really appreciated that. My only complaint is when they kinda make me luv an item & tell me I am getting the best one for my buck, particularly Vapes, everytime when I need refills or parts for it, they NEVER have them in stock. They also do not have answers on when they will have again😞... Other than that keep up the good work & customer service guys, I tell everyone I meet to go there for their vaping/smoking needs!

Just left this poor establishment. If you can even call it that it’s supposed to be open at 9 AM, but the guy just got there at 9:23 AM. I was the first one in the store but I was the last one serviced I was never recognized the employee, didn’t say good morning, or anything, I’m a regular customer here and this is the fourth time I’ve had to wait past time to open by 20 minutes or more. I would not recommend the store at all like I said poor service never on time and products haft the time work.

Came here because people have said the vapes are cheaper then other locations and its definitely true. Was able to get an elf bar for a good price. The only probably I had was the lady that helped me was kinda rude and it seems that I was bothering her!

Tina was absolutely amazing! She didnt mind to take time to talk to me about anything I had questions about! Best customer service I think Ive ever had at any store Ive ever shopped at!!! Couldnt be more please with my new juice and tank for my vape!!! Prices were amazing also. Wish I could rate this place 10 stars!!!

I was in the market for some new e-liquid flavors. The guy working was very friendly and helpful. I didnt look too thoroughly, but they had a large selection of vapes, accessories, and traditional smoke shop wares. Will definitely go back when Im ready to upgrade my mod.

My wife and I went into Up In Smoke this morning. The lady there had no knowledge of the vapes. I do not recommend.

They have a no exchanges, no return policy in the store and had sold me a GeekVape L200 which was faulty after a month, no drops, taken care of, a few very minor scratches on the body but no impact or anything which was evident. I went there in the morning to see about a replacement since the whole thing plus batteries and juice ran about 150.00 and the owner was called by an employees which was told not to exchange the product. This is after making several other purchases with them. They also own Cloud 9 in Myrtle Beach as well so be very wary when buying anything from them because if it fails you wont get anything in return.

Nice place, & the guy that helped me was very friendly and helpful. Didnt have the coils I needed at the time, but the house juice is great and reasonably priced, as well as everything I took a glance at was very reasonable. Nice clean store w large variety of everything. Ill def go back.

**BEWARE** Wish I could give no stars. On vacation from Virginia purchased a stash can got home the bottom was missing it had only been one day so i called right away the young lady remembered me took my name and number said she would get back in touch with me. Its been six days now no return call and they wont answer the phone. What good is a stash can when it dont hide anything.

I stopped at this shop during my first time to Myrtle beach. Both workers were attentive and helpful however Klaus( sorry if spelled wrong ) went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect souvenirs to take back to Pittsburgh for my boyfriend ! Highly recommend !

Great staff, very helpful and genuine. Also very knowledgeable. You might not see it if you are just visiting Myrtle Beach because it is about two blocks up from the beach. I highly recommend it for certain souvenirs.

We walk in and there are only 2 couples, we ask the employees to open up the shelf with the butterfly knife, Im given a okay and we wait 15 minutes just to see him help other customers. We left because the négligence was almost impressive. Worst vape shop

My husband and I celebrated our 2 year Anniversary in Myrtle Beach. Our smoke shops in Charleston are okay.. but not much of a selection compared to the options in Myrtle Beach! We checked out a few smoke shops in MB and this one was by far the best..... the prices, the staff and the selection!! They had everything I needed... Its definitely a one stop smoke shop. The two guys that helped us were very knowledgable, and were great with customer service. Theres a good chance Ill be making a monthly trip just to stock up on my supply for vaping accessories as well as other things. Oh yes, they also had a nice selection of Kratom and decent prices. I look forward to my next trip to Up in Smoke!

What a joke. No greeting or hello. Guess I bothered the lady while she was eating. Typical Myrtle Beach attitude and typical overpriced Myrtle Beach garbage. Save your money and go to puff it up or marijuana packaging. Better quality and selection at a fraction of the prices here. Its worth the 2 day wait for shipping. Tourist are stupid though and this place being open is evidence of that.

I went in there at 9:42pm tonight to buy a couple cigars. Walk in, employee is sitting behind the counter with no mask on, watching something on his phone.He looks up at me and tells me to put a mask on after putting his mask on. I have a medical card stating I can’t wear a mask. I pull it out to show him and he says he doesn’t care. Tells me I have to wear a mask or get out.I hope he realizes it’s a HIPAA violation with a 70k fine, I will be calling it in.

Sells defective disposable vapes. Walked out the door with a disposable vape, realized it was leaking and didnt work in my car. Walked back in 1 minute later and the refused to swap it. Wont be back. I will mention who ever works there is generally nice and helpful.

I came on vacation and left my batteries and charger at home, came up on this place going to the beach and told the guy what happened and I bought 3 batteries from him and he put them on the charger for, came back a couple hours later and picked them up. That was a life saver for me, was top of the line customer service! Thanks Guys!!

My boyfriend asked the cashier for cbd oil and instead she gave him cbd vape liquid...I work in customer service and I just feel they should have asked if he wanted vape or the consumable stuff. Then of course no refund even though they are the one that got it and handed it to him when he asked for cbd oil and not cbd vape liquid. Then they Told me i would be safe to take the vape liquid like I would the cbd oil, i dont trust that!!!!

We come here for OPMS brand kratom. This shop is thr only one that EVER has it in stock. Thr ither claim they have it but I have yet to find it anywhere but here.. Love the staff, they are charismatic and good with conversation.

If you want great smoke shop experience go see Klaus at Up in Smoke in myrtle beach. I have been going there for a long time and Klaus has always shown excellent customer service.

Some of the worst costumer service I’ve ever experience in places like these. When I asked them for a certain disposable vape the guy didn’t even look around before saying they didn’t carry them and sending me to another smoke shop that didn’t even exist!

Didnt have what I was looking for okay not their fault...but maybe try to be a bit friendlier. Me shopping at your store is what pays your bills.

Bought a fume there it’s not working right constantly smoking and heating up and they won’t exchange the defective one they sold me. Lost my business for sure thank you up in smoke for defective product.

Best place to get CBD cream. The relief I have gotten from this cream is unbelievable. I was scheduled for double knee replacements and have now postponed it. Im not 100 percent but it is very much dealable

Half the stuff in the store is broken. One of the guys working there didnt speak or know anything about any of the stuff he sells. Thankfully the other guy I think his name was Mike? He helped me out answered all my questions. Overall this place needs some updating.

Ive used this shop for ages. Open sign on. 5:25 on a Friday locked up with an employee just chilling inside. Totally ignored. Guess Im going to shop somewhere else.
