Our stay at the OYO Crepe was quite nice compared to some reviews Ive read, but some of this probably comes down to managing expectations. The room was simple and small, but also clean and we felt very safe.A list of positives:The hotel is in a great location. Just a couple of minutes walk and youre right where you want to be - at the water or in a vibrant area of shopping of dining/drinking/etc.The pool is open 24 hours. It was never crowded, and the water was sparkling clean.We didnt see a single bug. As soon as we got there my wife turned the room upside down looking for any hint of bugs. Nothing.The water temperature and pressure (shower) was ideal. The shower faucet was a little short, or maybe I was just a little tall, but I love when I feel like I can really get CLEAN in a hotel bathroom.Vic/staff is very responsive. I had some reservations about the lack of on-site staff, but Vic was generally around the property - and whenever we needed him he picked up and responded very quickly.Any downsides we experienced were fairly minor. I think they are working on getting WiFi, there are some bumps and bruises in the rooms (for example we had some dried paint splatter in our tub, etc) but nothing that would stop us from staying again.In summary, its not the Ritz, but for a great price and location... If you dont judge a hotel by its modern amenities but rather the convenience and access it provides I would add it to the list of hotels youre considering. We tend to spend very little time in our room when we travel - so the OYO Crepe served us just fine.
This hotel said they allowed pets,emotional support pets, and service pets before i made the reservation. They lied. They do not. I Googled hotels at Myrtle Beach that allowed pets and they were on the list. When checking in they said no pets. Also the hotel wanted various deposits ranging from $100-$250 a day for the room,$15 remote, $15 key ,unrefundable $15 per day parking on top of the $100-$250 deposit and more. I was never told ahead of time about these deposits and would have never booked this trash pit. Garbage everywhere, needles laying around the parking lot, construction materials scattered throughout. I refused to stay at this hotel because of the pet policy, and of course all the trash and drug needles everywhere and the hotel refused to refund my $330. I believe this place should be shut down for scamming there customers by lying and not telling customers ahead of time the outrageous rules and deposits. They are more than 30 compliant of similar problems from other people as well on the hotel site. At anytime did this hotel address any deposits before the booking was made. I drove past this hotel when I arrived hoping it was not the one that I booked. But sadly, it was. They apparently fixed the pet policy from Google that said they were on the pet list since last week. I have a photo shot for court proceedings, if necessary and if I do not get refunded of the total cost as they will refuse all refunds, no matter what I have it for court. Bad business and nasty hotel all the way around. Do not come to this drug infested place.
We spent the night there ...never had anyone made us feel more like family than the gentleman that helped us check in! We will definitely be there again and will definitely encourage others to visit!Within walking distance of the ocean and the boardwalk ...near drive to just about everything else! Really didnt want to leave!
The only thing positive was the woman and the guy that work there. The owner I’m not sure knows what he’s doing. A simple fix of a leaking toilet took all day (2:30- 8pm). I didn’t even sleep under the sheets. He tried to get me for extra money for parking. If you read your emails. It says 1 car free with stay. I had to show him that. I ended up leaving 3 days early.

My guy Vic is a great dude. Definitely helped me out. I was staying out there for work, I recommend anyone stay here. It’s super close to the beach, got food around the area, real homey type of vibes.
This is based on customer service; Next, the owner was kind enough to tell me the truth about extra fees such as paying for the parking lot/15.00 a night and an $85 cleaning fee; Additionally, this was not apparent enough when I booked the room through a third party and I made a mistake reserving a room here; Also, it was at 12:45 AM; Finally, and if you book through Priceline, Booking or another third party, please read and look for all possible charges because the total price can possibly become a whole lot more than it is advertising for.
Hotel was very clean, very nice, pool is 24 hours ! The staff/owner was very helpful ! Will definatly use this hotel for future stays in Myrtle beach ! Highly reccomend !
Literally false advertised. Couldn’t even give cleaning sheets, fridge didn’t work, nobody works at the front desk. Theres an ipad on the wall u have to use to face time the dude running the desk. If you see him in person he will not talk to you unless you FaceTime him. He also sat outside our room in his truck and watched my sister and myself
We paid $310 for 4 nights and 5 days.. great value! We did however have to pay a $250 refundable security deposit, which they gave $225 of back not instantaneously upon checkout, but the morning after — after deducting a $25 cleaning fee. The pool was nice, there were not many other amenities and they tried almost not letting us stay because I’m 20 and my guest was 18, which I thought was a bit odd but everything worked out. The sink water smelled OFF, but I don’t think the hotel can control this. The man we texted brought us pillows, an extra blanket, and even toilet paper when we needed it! The younger lady and her mom at the front desk were really nice, as was the gentleman that brought us what we needed.We will certainly return. I see some of these reviews and I am baffled… do you expect the Ritz Carleton at this price tag? Not dissing on the place, it’s wonderful!

Spend your money somewhere else. This place is a disaster, disgusting and a disgrace to OYO rental community. Will be contacting OYO to visit this location to take it off their recommendation list of “Motels”. Would have rather slept on the beach or a hostel. They have so many “NO” things listed, so I guess that’s why they never light up the NO Vacancy sign. No smoking on the property, no food or drink at the pool, etc. They even give you your towel”s” at check in. I didn’t get a wash cloth but they changed me for it being missing. Nothing about this place was pleasant. Very unprofessional staff, worried about spending time with their family than make the guest comfortable. Seedy area to boot. The $25 cleaning fee must pay for their dinner for the night because they sure didn’t use it to hire a cleaning person.
SCAM!! Other than the location, it was my worst experience in Myrtle Beach. Terrible service. Disgusting rooms. Bed bugs. Had to clean my room before entering it. I thought I had low standards. The quality of cleanliness and service is not acceptable. The room cost me 160 CAD on priceline. Last minute for 1 night, which is not too bad. But then came the mandatory cleaning fee. 250 USD deposit - 125 USD cleaning fee was posted on a white board outside. I get paying the fee if I broke things or didnt leave the place better than what i found it. And the real kicker here is the number of people coming that didnt seem to have a room, and that were 100% on hard drugs... 🤔 Dont go to this motel/crack house...
RENTER BEWARE!!! Small print you see only AFTER booking your room: $250 credit card charge(in addition to your rental price), upfront upon check-in, as a housekeeping fee. It says you will be refunded the $250 after you check out and your room has been inspected. No guarantee of a full refund. Very, very sketchy. Sounds like a money racket so I canceled my reservation -thankfully. No guarantee of private bathrooms and you have to bring your own linens/towels. So for a $250 fee this ought to be a 5 star hotel with full amenities.
This place is a rip off, scamming people out of money for cleaning fees is ridiculous. Why is it my responsibility to have the room cleaned, its their buisness!
The website I booked with did not indicate that this hotel do not accept reservations from locals. I had family coming in for a festival and thought it would be great to get them a room in the heart of the festivities. During check in is when I was notified about not being accommodated because I was local. As a local resident this was very disheartening. I would like for this hotel to really understand that it’s your locals that vote on your establishment remaining in our community. Like so many of the affordable hotels already being demolished it’s just a matter of time that our elected officials will accommodate the locals unlike this establishment. Modern day (discrimination) we do not accommodate so an so……. I will never recommend staying somewhere that puts restrictions on me as a whole and not as an individual.
Located close to the beach in a very run down section. We learned from the owner the city has big plans for the land where many run down motels and vacant lots now stand.The Hotel O Myrtle Beach has real potential if the plans go through.Our room was cozy, clean and cool.We felt safe walking back from the boardwalk after dark.We have one negative thing to say and that is the lack of bath towels. They are not provided so you have to bring your own or buy beach towels, which we did.I dont believe this was mentioned in other reviews but I feel it should be in the description so people are aware of it.The price is very good for the location.
I wish I could give negative stars. This poorly run organization is disgusting and truly awful. My family made a reservation on the phone and were told to pay once we got there. We were given no booking or confirmation number. When we arrive, the employee at the window quickly told us there were no vacancies before we could even give our name or phone number. Confused, we go back to the car and call again - confirming that there’s a reservation under our name, the woman working the front desk said “Confirmed! See you soon” When we got out of the car to explain who we were, immediately, again she told us there was no reservation for us despite having just talked with us on the phone. She even denied having the phone call at all. My mother explained that we had spent an hour figuring out the ordeal and then the woman referenced the phone call and said “I thought you said you were ten minutes away” Thus proving that this business is run by racists who don’t have the common sense God gave a piece of toast to even follow through with their lie. Gross establishment. I believe that she was kind on the phone because she didn’t realize we were black. Her entire demeanor and attitude shifted once she saw us in person. Afterward I called customer support and they were unhelpful and refused to let me speak to a manager to escalate the situation.
DO NOT GO HERE. SCAMMERS.We booked through Agoda & it was disgusting. No mention of a $250 deposit that they STOLE AND REFUSE TO GIVE BACK. We were literally there for not even 8 hours to sleep with our newborn before we got back on the road & make any excuse they can to keep your money. No towels in the room, bathroom floor literally sinking in, and of course you can’t get a hold of anyone to make a complaint or see where your lost money is.
The room was terrible, bath tub dirty, walls bubbling up like they had been wet before, hole in bathroom door, baseboards nasty and we paid $366 for one night, so not worth it, the room looked nothing like the online pictures. We would’ve left but we would’ve lost the $250 deposit we paid but didn’t know about till we were checking in. This place is so not worth the money we paid, I’ll never stay here again. And there were no towels and wash clothes, we had to rent them at $2.75 per towel, smdh, there was no mention of that when booking the room either.
Scammed a friend of mine that is an elder and sick and was looking for a getaway for a weekend and they took her money. Don’t give these scammers one penny! Look elsewhere!
BUYER BEWARE! $250 upfront housekeeping fee, charged directly to your credit card - supposedly refunded within 7-10 business days after a check-out room inspection. Seeing as how I only wanted to rent one room for 2 nights, at about $61 per night I could not understand paying an additional $125 per night for a housekeeping fee. For a hotel that does not provide linens, breakfast, etc....what is $125 for? You may be an unwilling investor in a scam.
I have stayed here two years in a row and they have made MAJOR improvements. They were quick to accommodate my needs and fix any problem I had. Location is great. Price is easy on your pocket too! This is where I will always stay every year on my annual beach trip. There was not one single solitary roach or bedbug, so not sure why people are saying such negatives things. I don’t stay anywhere but at this location. Their rooms are the cleaner than any room I have seen there. The staff is wonderful and it is so peaceful and cozy. I always and will continue to always book at this hotel. I will not stay anywhere else!
This is the worse hotel to stay in. You have to pay for everything like ice, towels, wash clothes, and a $25 room cleaning fee. The toilets do not work right. The room smelled bad after checking in. Will never stay here again. All kinds of bugs in the room. They cameras do not work also. Tire got cut and they could not rewind the cameras. I would not let my dog stay here.
If youre looking for a cheap affordable vacation this is the place!! The owner and housekeeper is very nice! Its only a 5 minute walk from the beach front. We booked for a week and ended up getting homesick so we left a day early, the owner even gave me a refund for that day, which he definitely did not have to do being it was a reservation!! Noone else Im sure would have done that!! Their doing some renovations to improve the rooms as well. The beds was super comfortable !! Ive read there was bedbugs here and that is not true. I stayed in 2 different rooms, neither had bedbugs!! I look for cheap and friendly service and thats what I found here!! Right next to the sky wheel and Ripleys Attractions as well!!

This hotel should be demolished. It is unsanitary. Upon arrival for my 1 night stay, I pulled back the covers on the bed and found a bed bug, also the ceiling in the bathroom was moldy. I booked this hotel through Booking. Com. I am highly disappointed they would list this hotel as a preferred choice. I have recommended to Booking.com they remove this hotel from their listing. Don’t stay at this hotel .,if I had a choice to choose zero stars, I would do so.luckily my family and I found another hotel to stay. By the way this not a hotel, it’s a motel
The nicest people ive ever met! The room was super clean and comfortable. Only a five minute walk to the beach. Very closely to other shops and restaurants. The price was perfect! Please book as soon as you can.
Upon entering the room, we saw large horse flies crawling on the curtains, the files crawled all over us as we tried to sleep. they told us that they would not provide towels or wash cloths for stay, that we had to go to Walmart to buy some. We had a smoker traveling with us, they charged a $250.00 deposit for him. There was a small microwave, refrigerator and a hot plate for cooking. There was an air conditioner that did not work. The toilet leaked all over floor after every flush. I would not recommend this place fit for any human. It was a dump.
Stayed there 3 days because it was cheap, close to the beach, and we were displaced after a house fire. If I’d had more money, I wouldn’t have stayed there, but it was all I could afford at the time. If you can afford somewhere else, do it. The smell was awful. It was moldy in the bathroom, the corners are disgusting. Even the oool had so many bugs in it we decided against swimming. The receptionist was nice, and that’s why they even get 3 stars. If not for him, they get none.
There are a fair share of scary reviews of this place but I had a great experience. The room we had was a small 2-bed room. Nothing fancy very similar to just a guest room at someones actual home. There is a microwave and tv but no iron or ironing board. An ice machine is also a small machine in the front office (I had no use for it but it was available). Towels are also given to you by the office and you have to ask for additional towels which will be given to you then or left outside of your room (housekeeping is not permitted to go into your room while you are checked in for liability protection). When I arrived all was clean except for a mirror of which I reported and it was cleaned right away. I also had an issue with a stopped-up sink and this was speedily resolved. The owner is very friendly and communicative. There was a larger room next to us that was being aired out when I arrived and did not look as desirable as our space. The larger rooms seem to get occupied by large families who wreak havoc and leave the owner and housekeeping to clean the mess. The week I was there there was a very large family (2 men, a woman, and about 3 children) that occupied the room next to us from the 2nd night until the 3rd night. They were relatively active so if you are an early sleeper then you may have been irritated. We were barely there and in and out when we were so they didnt disturb us. This place is nice though outside of that (which is not within the owners control). Felt very safe, as the owner watches the cameras and even came to inquire b/c he saw someone came into our room late the prior night, took something out, and ran toward the street (It was actually me that ran in and out very fast the night before). The place is dated but he keeps it up and maintains it nicely. There is also a laundry facility on-site with one washer and one dryer. The best part is that although it is not oceanfront you are literally one street away from the ocean. Great for the price in comparison to the surrounding places. This is convenient as you have to pay for parking everywhere for the most part near the water so this allows you to leave your car there at the motel and just walk. Shops, entertainment, and restaurants are all within walking distance. There can be a lot of activity at night across the street at that motel however everyone was friendly and no one disturbed us or made us feel uncomfortable. Great experience for the price. Less than $700 for a room walking distance from the water. Id stay again! Saw no bugs, etc as other reviews have stated but that was just my experience. Looking at the reviews seems like the bad experiences were in larger rooms so I wouldnt suggest this for a large group. If its just yourself and one other person though this may be the place for you since the smaller rooms are nicer.
Told one price online then almost doubled at check in. Worst place I ever stayed, no exhaust fan in bathroom nor mirror. Place looked like druggies place and then your kids better have photo ids. Never will I use OYO for place to stay. 2nd time trying to use and the other time the attendant would not answer the door. This one I had to climb on the bed to use the heater which was totally strange. Sign said if you inspect the room beforehand there is a 20 dollar charges. I should have run at that point but stayed.
This has been one of the worst experiences at a hotel, me and my boyfriend went to the beach for the weekend and we are trying to find the hotel. We drove for 15 minutes up and down and could not find the hotel anywhere. The GPS said it was near but there were no signs of the building or anything like all the other hotels near by. We get on a call with the people from OYO because you cant even reach a front desk with these people to ask them about directions and are recieved with a very rude and unempathetic person who doesnt help at all. We drive around looking for something like looks what we saw in the picture and finally get to a building that looks like a very aged version of the photo. The front office was small and dirty. It was in a terrible neighborhood with shady people and an overall untrusty vibe. I immediately asked if I could recieve a refund because I did not feel safe. I was told that I had to contact expedia directly and see their policy. We couldnt check in until 2 and it was barely 11 am so we went to the ocean for a while. We checked in about 4 pm and when we went inside the room we were shocked. The room was poorly taken care of, the walls were about 6 different shades of blue because they would paint over spots with something that was not the right color, the floor was coming up of the ground because of obvious water damage and under the moldings there was water which only leads me to believe there mold, and the tub was DISGUSTING!After coming in from the beach I get in the shower without really wanting to because of how dirty it was, but of course I had sand all over so I went in anyway, oh by the way I used my own towel because the towels were stained and absolutely gross. Once in the shower I turn on the water and SURPRISE, the water was boiling hot! No cold water was working. So there I am almost burning my skin off while I hop out and call front desk. My boyfriend is extremely irritated by this point and wants a refund. It takes 45 mins for them to fix the shower. We go to the front desk and ask for a refund and are told that we have to go through expedia because they wont refund. I told the manager everything wrong with the room and he gives me an attitude about it saying that I need to tell expedia everything Im telling him, to which I respond Im telling you because youre the manager and have to know whats going on in your property. He says he wont refund so we leave. We pack all our belongings in the car because there are sketchy people all over the property. The hotel is practically in the ghetto and we were scared they would take our things. We left and only came back to sleep. My boyfriend stayed up all night to make sure it was safe. As soon as 11 am hit we left. I will NEVER rent a hotel room here again.
Customer service is a joke. I never got a response or refund for the room that I booked and did not use. I had two bookings for July. The front desk gave us a combined room instead of the two ordered and then no refund for the last day we did not stay. No one could ever reach OYO
I am entirely displeased with my experience at Hotel O Myrtle Beach and renting through OYO.1) When I arrived at the hotel to check in, it was nothing like what was advertised on the website. Online we made a reservation for Hotel O Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, but when we arrived at the destination it was named Crepe Myrtle. The actual building doesnt match up with the building we expected to stay in listed on the site. I showed the receptionist Mehta Meenu, a picture of the pool on the website, he said the pool was not a part of the hotel.2) Mehta Meenu, the receptionist, checked us out without our consent. I was telling the front desk that we would make due with the room, but his unprofessionalism led to him checking us out.3) The room was disgusting. A tiny bed that looked nothing like the pictures posted online. The sheets were stained and the bathroom had water around the toilet area prior to checking in. I asked Mehta Meenu if I could pay more for a better room and he said that the Oyo system would not allow him to even though there were available rooms. He also admitted to me that the room was not as advertised online and had multiple complaints but that it was OYO who took and posted the pictures.4) When I asked for accommodation because there were other available rooms, Mehta Meenu told me to go buy an air mattress at wal-mart instead of providing me with a different room/adult size bed. I even offered to pay more to get a room suitable for me to sleep in.5) No accountability from the front desk and no one to speak to in order to resolve all of the above issues. It is impossible to reach this hotel via telephone. The front desk cannot be reached as I tried calling multiple times only to be met with a frustrating automated response. Before check-in I began questioning the professionalism of the hotel o myrtle beach boardwalk after an agent from OYO said she could connect me to the receptionist but I was instead patched to an automated system that would reconnect me to the agent. At this point if I were able to speak to the receptionist or any hotel staff I would have attempted to make changes to my reservation.6) After Mehta Meenu told me there was no management or supervisor to talk to and no one to hold accountable as a business or service provider I began to question the legitimacy of the hotel. After stating my concerns to Mehta Meenu he force checked me out, claiming he no longer wanted to deal with switching the rooms, he claimed he could not give a refund for the room I never stayed in. After attempting to call the customer service line previously given by Mehta Meenu, the number became disconnected and had been deactivated, this was the same number I had been able to talk to an agent with earlier in the day. It became clear I had been lied to and scammed by this hotel. I decided to contact the police hoping for assistance in dealing with this con man as I was unsure what other illegal acts Mehta Meenu was capable of. As soon as I had called the police, Mehta Meenu called the police as well. It is totally inappropriate that his response to me calling the police was him trying to beat me to it.7) The Officers helping us were able to provide a legitimate phone number to call and also a case number for the situation and encouraged us to pursue civil court against the hotel as this was something they had seen before. I then spent nearly 2 more hours on the phone wasting more of my time and ruining more of my vacation talking to different OYO agents who didnt have job titles or any supervisors either. In total, I spent about 5 hours dealing with Mehta Meenu and other OYO staff who were beyond unhelpful and insulting.8) I have never been to a hotel that was this insulting, avoided accountability, and not welcoming. I have never been forced to check out of a hotel without my consent.Still no refund.
No towels for the room, interior was very tacky and looked as though a child painted it, and rats came out at night and got into our food. The room advertised for 87$ with taxes came to 125$ when checking in the motel charged another 25$ bringing the cost to 150$. Never again will I use this deceptive 3rd party.
I wouldnt even give this place one star. We decided to stay in Myrtle Beach last minute and all the other hotels were booked, so we decided to just give this place a shot. It definitely was not our first choice, but it was our only option for the night. Its so rundown, small, outdated, dirty, disgusting and it has BEDBUGS! As soon as I pulled back the blankets/sheets there were bedbugs in room 305! The owner wasnt even going to give me my money back until I said I had a photo of the bugs and would report him. He even had the nerve to ask me to go remake the bed and shut off the AC before he would give me a refund. The housekeeper was smoking in our room while cleaning it, the housekeeper also told me not to let my 16 month old walk around in the room because the floors are gross no matter how much she cleaned them, they did not have any soaps, theres no wifi, there was dead bugs on the floor and cobwebs all over the place, its not in a terrible area but the people are gross, and if you have more than 1 car in the parking lot you have to pay an extra $10 for each car. Needless to say, we got our money back and made the 3 hour drive home instead. I would never recommend this nasty place to anyone. 0/5 stars from me!
They lied about this being a hotel, its a motel. We were stuck and had to stay because all other places on the beach had NO vacancies and drove all the way from Greenville. The roaches checked on us alot. I ran to Walmart to buy ZEVO to spray. We had to keep our luggage in the car so we wouldnt bring hitch hikers home. If we did want to keep anything in there, we had no furniture to put anything on! No dresser or night stand! The pictures online are not real time photos. This place needs to be closed. The housekeeper was sweet he worked hard with what he was given. I thought we could tolerate the room, but the bed was hard, it made us wake up sore. But all I could do was knod and wake up every 10-15 minutes to spray! If I read the reviews previously, our vacation would not have been so horrible. The beach was nice. Unless you dont mind roaches, dont stay here!!!!
Stayed there for 2 1/2 months. Then when we went in to pay rent one night, we were told to leave because we have a cat. A cat we had the whole time we were there. And nothing said no animals until he threw up a sign about it the day he kicked us out.The roaches were horrible. The beds are the (my backs going to hurt in the morning) old things. Just an overall ran down, horribly managed, roach motel. Found a new place, same price, hundred times nicer.
If I could rate them 0 stars I would. I booked on line with booking.com. We were able to save a little money by finding it on Kayak.com. when we arrived at the hotel location we were ask to show IDs . My wife had a local ID and the manager refused to rent the room to us. He said there was an industry rule not to rent to locals. So he cancelled our reservation and told us the on line company had out money.We got plenty of help from booking .com and we were very pleased by the customer service effort. I made three trips to the hotel and spoke to the manager. He stuck to the same story that booking .com had our money , that it was their responsibility to refund my $107 dollars. After 12 days of waiting and help from booking .com we did get our refund. The refund was $7 less than I paid. I dont like the business practices of this hotel and the staff was not educated to who had my money and they didnt help us one time in the proper manner. I would stay clear of this hotel. Once they get your money its a struggle to get it back. The hotel is outdated and dirty and dengy. Steer clear of Crepe Myrtle Inn...the fact that they cancelled my reservation and they kept $7 for what-ever reason. Makes me 😠😡☹️😤.I would like to endorse Booking .com their staff was incredible in their customer service.
Very strange check-in process. Walls were super thin, I could hear my neighbors tv straight through the wall. The bed was the most flimsy thing I have ever slept in, it felt like a cotton ball on top of a matchbook. I would sneeze and slide across the floor 5 feet. Never ever again.

He looked up my reservation and said have a 4 bed room for 3 people. What??? Are you friggin kidding me??? He said I would have to cancel that one and do a new reservation. 0/5 stars. ...These people are the worst....I am a Pastor who now and then finds myself housing a homeless person from our large transient population here in MB. In this case I was stuck with this place as the only vacancy in the area. First the owner (an older heavyset man from India) lied about the price at $80 (still WAY too much) and then said he only had a 120 dollar room five minutes after talking to me on the phone. Then suddenly he didnt have WIFI working and couldnt take my card and I have to use his ATM he owns with an expensive fee to get cash. I got this room for a homeless man to sleep for a night and I told him that. I saw something in this man eyes that said he was going to take advantage. I WAS NOT WRONG. An hour later I got a call from the homeless man that they re kicking him out, saying he caused a leak in the bedroom below. I went into the room and there was no water on his floor and no overflow but they said too bad he needs to get out and they called the police and had him removed. I went back two hours later and knocked on the door and there was a new person in the room. They made a double rate on the room that night by taking advantage of a Pastor and a homeless man. The female housekeeper who spoke English told me to F$*K myself and hung up on me when I told her what they were doing to this man was very shameful. Very sad!
Terrible. Please be aware of this hotel. It’s filthy dirty and not in a good place. We checked in walked in the room lift up the covers of mattresses and we found the most disgusting, filthy mattresses we have seen in our entire lives . I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT.Immediately we walked out. I will never let my family sleep in a place like that.Orbitz has been good to us, but this hotel it’s unacceptable on any side.Do not go there.
I bought a reservation earlier in the day and the check in time was scheduled for after 3 PM. I arrived late into the night at 3 AM. A very bad time to arrive admittedly, but I had no other option. The door had a number to call because no one was at the front desk. No one answered. This was the night before I was proposing to my girlfriend and I ended up stranded in the city with no where to sleep.Afterwards I called to try to get a refund, since no one was there to let me in. They refused. Despite the website not saying anything about needing to check in at a certain time, they expected people to arrive earlier. Moreover they had a number to call but they didnt answer. All in all this was a terrible experience that left me in a difficult spot, and then did not even allow me to get my money back for a room I couldnt use. Horrible horrible customer service.
The manager is very nice. He always serves with a smile. The maids are kind of everywhere, but its helpful throughout the day if you made need one. Theyre never scarce. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone trying to be close to the ocean.
Some how my reservation got mixed up OYO had me in a entirely different room then what I reserved. OYO, wasnt much help.But, the hotel manager really done his best and was able to find me a room to meet my needs. Rooms where good and clean other STAFF, on the property was GREAT very pleasent........ My family walked to the beach every afternoon 💗WHICH WAS AWESOME 😎
Dont go here!!@ please listen, dont do it! The first encounter we had at this hotel was a man telling management that his room was dirty and stunk. We then go to the owner and ask to see our room first and he refused. He then looks in his computer and says that we have no reservation. We came from another state and spent all day looking for another hotela. Plus, they charged my card anyway! Dont stay!!!!! Turn away!!!! Worst experience ever. It took me all day to find another room. Dont do it! They honestly dont deserve 1 star
Photos do not reflect room quality. Floors were damaged, no seperation or privacy, and it was so noisy we didnt get any sleep at all. Pool was dirty, neighbors were a bit on the scary side, my kids were nervous. Went home early.
Horrible. Rooms are dirty, property is nasty and the actual hotel name is the crepe inn. The place is run down and days after Ive refused to stay, they are still trying to charge me almost 200 dollars for a no show fee...... I showed up and Im unaware of how theyre trying to charge all these fees. The rooms look nothing like the pictures online.... I wouldnt book a room here for my worst enemy
Stayed last weekend stayed in room 305. Worst experience ever! The floors were disgusting, there were bedbugs on the bed, tv did not even work and there was no WiFi. And on the way out the female house keeper was rude and disrespectful, Insulted us basically was also kicking us out after we asked the owner for another 30 minutes more to get our stuff together. She was so rude and she smoked in the rooms while cleaning it. NEVER STAY HERE! unless you want to end up fighting with a crack head house keeper or you like to sleep with bed bugs 🤢🤮
Price for a supposed 3 room stay at $160. Walk in and its two rooms. Back room is jammed packed with three full beds where you can hardly get into the joke of a bathroom. First room has a motion sensor light that continously shuts off. Bathroom was soooo old and outdated it actually made me laugh. The shower whistled so loud. Door didnt close. It actually made me laugh! There were no shades on the windows. TV had no remote and channels were non existant. Pool outside was empty and filthy. The walls were falling off in every room, random boards all over (repairs I suppose?) Last straw was when we picked up the blankets and there were black dots on the sheets I can only assume were bed bugs. Not sure how this place isnt abandoned. We left right away. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the worst motel you could ever pick for your vacation, here are list of issues when my family rented this hotel for last long weekend.- Bathroom flush not working- Bathroom door not working- carpet in room pilled off- mattress were so much stinking- lobby has full of trash-I have called hotwire to get me full refund which they promised me if I check out within 15 min which I did, however hotwire did not refund any money yet and ultimately my family slept in van on that night...If you want to experienced worst motel in myrtle beach then go ahead and book this hotel. OMG the room me & my Fiance stayed in room 218 was VERY disgusting & VERY OUT dated !!!!! Roaches every where the room has a roach infestation 😷😷 behind the headboard of both bed s had SEVERAL roaches just nesting behind them .. Just nasty !!! The owners do not care to get this property under control , they dont provide wash cloths & the shower is falling apart & stained flithy !! The air conditioner had to be plugged in & unplugged for use & the floors are caving in !!!!!! Everything is just NASTY in these rooms seriously. If you are loooking for a cheap nice decent place to stay PLEASE look elsewhere , hopefully this helps out !!! 👌
My far the worst most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. I don’t even know how this place would be in business . We were gonna try to stay in Myrtle beach an extra night . Everywhere is booked except for this place -168$ a night for a half bar of used soap , hot tiny room. Though we could still give it a try until I pulled back the sheets and found chip crumbs , blood and make up stains . We left immediately and made the 9 hour drive home . Don’t stay unless you want bed bugs or herpes. Better off sleeping on the beach ....
Way overpriced my room is 310 for a room with one bed and the bed was very uncomfortable I only had one towel and it was not beachfront property but for some reason it was the only woman area available and it was kind of far from the beach but through was clean
Booked through Expedia. Called the day of check in to confirm, they cancelled the reservation because we hadn’t paid yet despite getting an email the week before stating that we could pay at check in. We called Expedia and the hotel told Expedia that they cancelled all rooms for maintenance. The same hotel currently has rooms available for 4x the amount we paid for.
Room was decent for the price, staff was helpful for things you need. Good location too not far from center of everything, but if youre looking to walk to the beach expect at least a 1/4 of a mile walk, not that it was an issue it was a great way for my 2 year old to burn away extra energy.
Do not stay here. They are crooks! The maintenance man said he had to check our shower while we were at the pool but when we got back to the room he had stolen some of our tablets. The owner wouldnt do anything about it. These people cant be trusted. Dont waste your money. You cant get a refund.
If someone was to say this hotel is a DUMP you would have a hard time disagreeing. And you might even wonder why the city has not closed this place down. Worst mistake ever was trying to stay here. 3 stars because didnt actually get to stay. So cant rate the hotel. But oyo the rental agency sucks. Cannot get anyone on the phone. Needed to cancel due to a family emergency but they tell me to call Expedia, Expedia says to call hotel, every number I found for this place diverts you to oyo who in turn tell me to contact expedia.
Well for the price the rooms were decent...but to end up in the hospital cuz of black mold doesnt help I begged for him to put me in another room same size and everything and got told I paid for that room...housekeeping is awesome there

Ive stayed at some run down places before, but this was bad! I was told they didnt have a heading unit in the room they put me in, but I could get a space heater if it got too cold. Saw people dealing drugs out in the open ALL NIGHT! Someone knocked on my door at 2am looking for a hit. Room smelled horrible and was dirty.
Old house converted to seedy motel. Cigarette burns on the bedspread. I did not stay, got a refund and went elsewhere. Desk staff was polite, professional and courteous.
Its a shame I have to give a star to write a review. DO NOT STAY HERE! unless you love hanging out with roaches and crack heads then by all means party down. I was harrassed outside and inside by vermin. The ones outside wanting cigarettes and spare change, the ones inside wanting food and to spread disease. Come to think of it I bet the outside ones had plenty of disease to spread also. Dont expect to get a refund they need that money for curry and area rugs. Remember you always get what you pay for and if you stay here you will pay for it by getting something that Ajax cant scrub away.
First of all I payed $232 for 1 night which was outrageous!! The building and furniture is so outdated that its embarrassing. There were roaches crawling around by the pool and when we checked out this morning a roach had made it into my car from our things we unloaded from the room. I had to pull over so my kids and I could catch and kill it.

Owner is disrespectful and deceitful as are the people he employs. Proof of this is here in reviews. Stephanie Smith and Christopher Daniels are the supposed property managers working and living at the Inn and both have written reviews pretending to be satisfied...even happy guests. May not be illegal but not exactly moral either. These are not the kind of folks good folks want to do business with !

Owner is very rude. Drove 5 hours for them to just tell us they had no room for us. Had already paid for room the day before. No call or info so we could find another room just waited til we where there and left us stuck. Will never do buisness here and will tell everyone i can to never stay here.

Booked through booking.com. Looks nothing like the pictures, no kitchen, no pool, dirty dirty dirty! Smelled like bug bombs, the sheets on the bed were dirty and the bed looked broken! Didn’t stay they didn’t even have the room advertised that I reserved and they still charged me fighting that charge now!
I didn’t stay because no one was there to let us in. They decided it was my fault and kept my $182.00 for a$45.00 a night room. Just wanted everyone to know not to get taken advantage of like I did.

I stayed in room 110 and I love it here. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and 5 minutes down the road from all the entertainment. The staff here are super helpful and will help accommodate you with anything you need. I will be back again soon.😁

In short, they robbed us, they made the reservation, they charged you from your card and when you showed up, there was no room and they never gave me the money back for 2 rooms. They also charged me surcharges and I wasnt even in the hotel.
They stole my money from my deposit. They are rats, plus the sheets were dirty, the room smelled horrible. My worst experience
I do not recommend it, after paying the reservation they tell you that you have to leave a deposit of 150 and that they give it to you after going to check it and that you have to pay for the toilet and it is a lie that money is not returned to you in the end it comes out more expensive
They treated me well and I had no problem with the deposit, they returned it to me as soon as I left.
