Salon was clean, bright and had lots of different product options. I had a new stylist (Taylor) she did an amazing job on my haircut . I had close to 10 inches cut off and she transformed me. I love my new cut. Will definitely go back to her and highly recommend her.

I wanted my hair done for my sons wedding. My regular stylist had a family emergency and could not do my hair. This place had great reviews so I decided to go with them as they could get me in. When I got there I did have to wait about a 1/2 hour for my stylist. I was on time but she was running late. I told her all I wanted was highlights and I wanted chunky highlights that people would notice. I showed her a picture of what I had wanted My hair is not thick and it is not long by any means. The highlights were supposed to be $73 thats what they advertised. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She ended up coloring my whole head $45, shampooing (I told her I washed it before I left) $36, put a conditioner on (thought that was included) $20. My bill was $186!!!!! NO idea where the extra $13 came from. The highlights I got were unnoticeable nobody noticed a thing .....stay away from this place they throw extra charges in for you that you did not ask for Im very disappointed.

My girlfriend recently got a haircut here from Taylor. I dropped her off and picked her back up and I did not recognize her at all! As soon as she got in the car she was balling her eyes out, and was not happy with the result. Would only recommend you to shop here if, you want to lock yourself in your house for a month or two. 1/10

Diana is the esthetician I see for my waxing and facials and she is truly amazing. I have also seen her for manicures, pedicures, as well as getting my make up done for a wedding I was in. I have been going to her for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed. She is always professional and welcoming whenever I come in. Her room is always clean and she maintains good hand hygiene - as a nurse this is important to me. She is also very friendly and kind. She has made professional recommendations for my skin that I feel has improved the quality of it. On top of all of this - the one thing that truly made Hair Decisions and Oasis Spa stand out for me was there flexibility to let me pump in between services. As a mother of two, one being an infant - it was hard enough to be willing to schedule time for myself, let alone a few hours away. I spoke to Diana ahead of time and she was more than willing to give me time to pump in between my services I was getting. I feel you would never get this type of flexibility and accommodation with a big chain. I love supporting small businesses and when you come to Hair Decisions you will not be disappointed!PS... if you are a breastfeeding mother, please speak to your service provider a head of time if you need time to pump - I wouldnt just expect it the day you show up for your appointment.

Ive been going to Hair Decisions for at least 10 years, and I have yet to be disappointed! The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and you always get what you ask for (and more!). Ive had my hair and makeup done for every big event (high school dances, graduation, weddings, etc) and everything stayed perfect throughout the day, no matter what the weather or event was! Im having them do hair and makeup for my wedding in July, and I cant wait to see how well they do then too!

I went for the first time here for a highlight. Rochelle was my stylist and I loved her. She was friendly, listened to what I was looking for and for the first time ever in my life I think I walked out of a salon totally satisfied. She repaired a bad haircut and explained what needed to be trimmed or thinned out while Im trying to grow my hair out. She also explained to me about different products for my hair type. Not being a real high maintenance person I really appreciated the help! The rest of the staff at the salon was very friendly and welcoming as well. It was a superior experience compared to other places I have gone. Will definitely be coming back here in the future and requesting my services with Rochelle. Im glad I decided to try this place at random. Thank you so much Rochelle and Hair Decisions!

Amanda Block did a wonderful job on my hair! I’ve followed her from everywhere. It was my first time to this salon and everyone there was welcoming and nice. I came in for a balayage & it turned out wonderful. The price is reasonable & she always does exactly what I asked for! She gave my hair such a subtle and refreshed look! If anyone wants color, I would definitely recommend her! AMAZING!!! Ask for Amanda next time you go!

Amanda Block is the best!!! My salon experience today left me feeling relaxed! It was my first time coming to this salon, I followed Amanda Block from a previous shop and it was a great experience, everyone was so happy and friendly and the shop was nice and clean. I received a cut, highlights and an eyebrow wax and am happy with all of my services. She did a great job! I feel beautiful!

My regular stylist from my salon was on maternity leave and I wasn’t very happy with her subs work, so I reached out asking for referrals on FB. I made an appointment with Rochelle for a cut and color. All of the staff were super friendly, but Rochelle was amazing! I have just recently started coloring my hair and have no idea what works and what doesn’t. I was also growing out a not so good cut. I showed her a few pics of what I was working toward and discussed colors I preferred and let her work her magic. And magic is what she performed! The cut was amazing (almost 6 weeks out and I can still style it) and the color was perfect! I was previously going on every 4-5 weeks for a cut. I left the next day for a week long business trip and received so many compliments! Thank you again Rochelle!

First time client and very happy with the results! Gayle was recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. My primary goal in coming in was to get a significant cut to donate to Children With Hair Loss. Beyond that, I really didn’t give her any direction other than telling her I didn’t want to spend a lot of time styling my hair and I wanted a fun color. She took 12 inches off, layered what’s left so it’s swingy and bouncy even if I don’t do anything to it, showed me how to easily style it if I want, and put in turquoise and blue highlights. So happy with the results! Also want to shout out to the front desk staff for being very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

Brittany completely re-styled my hair, and Gail just reshaped it! I tried to cheap out and go to another place, but that was completely not what I wanted. I had to grow it out in order to get it fixed. Wont make that mistake again!My hair is curly and has weird awkward patches, and they expertly styled it regardless! 😁Their prices are completely reasonable!! I cheaped out for my own financial reasons. Well worth it! I highly recommend them!

I have been coming here for the past year to the same stylist Hayley && I have never been more pleased with any hair dresser. She has exceeded my expectations and I leave the salon wishing my hair looks like that everyday! Shes a perfectionist and always leaves me feeling so beautiful!! 10/10

EDIT/UPDATE: I went back to Gayle to get my mishap fixed and she worked some magic and my hair is beautiful and just what I wanted to walk away with. Hair Decisions was extremely responsive, accommodating, and understanding and has earned a reoccurring client because of this.I will not name the stylist who did my hair, but it was by far the worst coloring experience I’ve ever had. She was so friendly and easy to talk to, however I asked for a blonde balayage. To brighten it up. She put a purple toner in after the highlights and went to eat lunch, leaving it in for way too long. I went home with purple/gray hair. I had to use clarifying shampoo three times to strip most of the gray out, but it still looks dull and way less bright than the blonde I had before she touched it.The only good things about my experience here were 1. She did a nice job on the cut. And 2. The salon was very professional and punctual with responding to my dissatisfaction. They are letting me come back tomorrow with a different stylist free of charge to (hopefully) fix it. Just really disappointed I had to spend $200 on something I wanted to get rid of immediately. Will update this review after tomorrow if my hair comes out like I hope.

My hairstylist Amanda Marie was awesome gave me the haircut I wanted . But Gail sucked. My daughter wanted a very specific modern haircut and got A forty year old dork lady . She wouldnt look at my daughters picture because Gail knew . And when my daughter said it wasnt short enough . Didnt listen . Stick to cutting old people hair Gail.

I had my hair cut by Michelle. I gave her photos of ideas that I had and she hit it out of the park! It was exactly what I wanted and framed my face in the best way! Then I went to Gayle for an all over color. I wanted to go from dark brown to red, which is a very tricky task (what I was told from multiple stylists). She did a fantastic job! She also gave me great tips about how to keep the red from fading. I am a few weeks out and my hair cut and color is the best it has been in years. I actually have people compliment me and ask where I had it done! I am so grateful that the ladies at Hair Decisions were able to take the look I wanted and bring it to life! It was just what I needed!

Big shout out to Rochelle Ryan Bissel. I have been a client of here for over 20 years and even after a move 2 hours away after trying a few people other I started driving back the 2 hours. She is very professional and strives to continue educating herself of all the new colors and styling techniques. I highly recommend her for all your styling needs!

I went to Hayley once and from now on I will continue going to her for all my future hair adventures. I went in to get my hair back to its natural color, which is a caramel-ish blonde. I knew it was going to be hard to do since I have a long history with box dyes, and therefore a lot of damage to my ends. My dyed hair color at the time was almost black, and before that it had been a very bright red -- so I was insanely happy when my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. She put a lot of time and effort into the color correction process and it turned out awesome!

I just moved back to this side of town and I used to go to the salon about 13 years ago. I went in a couple days ago to get highlights done. I spent almost 3 hours there only to come out looking like I used one cheap at home color on my hair. All all I needed was partial blonde highlights with my roots done. My whole head ended up darker and you can barely see the highlights I already had. Its like I took a box of brown and just put it through my hair myself. I have never had this happen. She was stuttering and stammering and looked absolutely panicked and she couldnt explain to me why my hair turned out that way. I have never had this happen before at any Salon. My hair takes color takes very easily. I know she messed up and she didnt want to say she did and they charged me $76 for a partial highlight because they wanted me to come back to get it fixed. I dont have time for this. She was also the slowest Stylist Ive ever known. She even made a comment that they schedule more time for her. I am not taking 3 hours to go back and have them fix this by somebody who messed it up to begin with. Friendly stylist but I shouldnt have been charged and they should have fessed up that she messed up and offered to fix it immediately by another stylist. I dont want her touching my hair again and I will not be going back.

Amanda Marie is an amazing hair stylist here. She is patient, kind, and gives you the results you are looking for. I would highly recommend getting your hair done by her. She is simply amazing!

Ive been going to Hayley at Hair Decisions for awhile now and she is amazing! Its so hard to find a stylist who you trust enough to go back to again and again. Shes done everything from cut, highlights, full color and a really amazing balayage and I leave loving my hair everytime :)

I had my hair done by Gayle. It frustrates me when I have been getting my hair highlighted for over 15 years the same way and they ignore me when I tell them what works best with my hair. Its my hair I work with it daily- I promise I know it better than you. I tried in 10 different nice ways to say it doesnt take color well and hold color long so I need it really light so it doesnt wear out soon. Instead I ended up with blond highlights that no one could tell were there. Its been 20 days now and its worn to the point wheres its yellow. My stylist was also not very friendly along with not listening to me.

The stylists did the wrong color of highlights on my son! He was very specific what color he wanted, even showed her a picture but unfortunately a mistake was made. Not nice people, not nice!

I had a great experience to start. I told my hairdresser, Hayley, about how my curly hair curls different in different places and that my hair was thinning, so I wanted layers to help with volume (I only instructed layers). She cut it dry which I liked, but then for styling after a shampoo, she used a blow dryer and very little product, which caused my hair to frizz up like crazy. I looked so horrible. I would never let my hair get like that or go out in public like that.The WORST part of it all though, was when I suddenly heard snipping of scissors close to my scalp. She didnt tell me that she was going to do anything, then after she told me she used a hair thinner to have the smaller hairs help push up the other hairs. I just looked at her in shock and got upset and said you used a hair thinner on my hair when I told you my hair was thinning?! She replied, Well it was only a little bit. I paid and got out of there asap.When I got home, my hair was a MESS. There were rats nests all over from the hair that was falling out from the hair thinner she used. I pulled out so much hair. I started crying. For someone with thin hair as it is, this was devastating. The image shows the pile of hair from just running my hands through it and getting the knots out.I called to speak with a manager, but the receptionist said she was out, but I will be calling to speak with her when she gets back. I debated leaving a review because I know it is not the salons fault. However, this is not right.Edit/ Update: The manager called me to apologize and was very professional. She offered to fix my hair if I wanted and a gift card, which I thought was very generous. I appreciate the professionalism and conscientiousness of how this was handled. Thank you!

Jessi the esthetician here is absolutely amazing. She is so outgoing and makes you feel so comfortable. The salon is very spacious with a beautiful interior. The front desk staff is always very pleasant.

Beautiful setting, great location, super friendly staff and overall loved the experience. Plus so many things they can do there for you!

Took my granddaughter to have her hair styled for prom here. Amanda was her stylist. The first thing she said was i have a color appt. also . So she rushed us out. She was rude and now we have to fix it when we get home. And when we made the appt we asked how much and were told no more than $26 but when we checked out it was $55 so i have a $55 hair style that we have to fix. I will never go back. To post this i have give it a star but this place doesnt deserve any stars

I liked it the first 2 times I went but, the last few times, not so much. Its hard to get an appointment half the time when you want to, the receptionist answering the phone, the last 2 times I called, wasnt too friendly nor was the woman doing my feet. I decided to go elsewhere.

I just wanted to share that I was a client years ago and I am recently back in the last couple years and I have never been more welcomed and treated so awesome from the front desk to my stylus, top notch service. Thank you Rochelle for my wonderful hair cut and color I get so many compliments on my color it makes me feel great. Thank you hair decisions.

Rochell is very talented! Shes one of the stylists I follow on Instagram to keep up with trends. Everyone is doing balayage now, but not everyone is very good at it. Rochell is one of those stylists who can do it perfectly, and I think thats a testament to her experience and expertise as a stylist.

By far the best salon I have ever been too!!! I’ve gotten nail, hair and waxing services there and every single stylist there is just amazing!! If you haven’t been to Hair Decisions yet you must go right away!! Seriously amazing!!!

Have been going for massages with Sharon the past couple of years she gives a great massage!! Shes the best!!

I am so thankful to have found Sharon as my new massage therapist. She is blessed with strength to give a true deep tissue massage. She is just what the problem areas in my back and neck need.

Got a balayage by Amanda’s and it came out amazing! Cute salon, clean and everyone is super friendly. Felt relaxed, and came out looking great. Can’t wait to go back!

I came to this location for a shellac manicure.The website reads: NOW Featuring Shellac Polish. The innovative nail polish is described as the Hybrid Nail Color. On Like Polish. Wears Like Gel. Off In Minutes. Once applied it can last up to two weeks. $31.00.This is misleading as the price actually depends on which level associate you schedule with. Although when scheduling I stated I was a first time client, this was not explained to me.Additionally, I have very weak nails so I put tips on as needed when my nails break to make them all the same length. 500 piece sets on Amazon go for anywhere from $5-10 for the set - this salon charges $5 PER nail tip. Again, something that was not explained. The salon I frequent in Hales Corners thankfully carries no extra charge for an occasional nail tip if needed. The Shellac manicure and nail tips totaled twice as much in comparison.If the quality of the service was significantly more exceptional, I would not see these details as concerning. However, the quality of the materials as well as service were equally comparable. The location is clean and the staff were friendly, this just isnt a place I would frequent for nail services.
