Very lively club lots of lights and good DJ. Horrendous service good luck getting anything to eat or drink in a timely manner. Overall atmosphere definitely geared towards the college hookup culture crowd if youve got confidence to approach someone and money to burn youll leave with someone for the night. Not really my style but power to those who have the juice. Parking a nightmare be prepared to walk but at least there were food trucks outside. Drinks overpriced but tasty, had the blue bomber I think.
Brought my nephews to Pave. The patio up top has great ambiance. Being a music fan, I love the two murals of artists and album covers. I find it funny they have deceased music stars and Keith Richards. Also, it was funny walking on the dance floor and my shoes stuck. Cold drinks and hot food. And they have Buffalo Trace!
Tried PAve last night for the first time last night. Arrived at about 6:50pm and was able to find seating immediately downstairs. We were greeted by a friendly and attentive server, who got drinks started immediately. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so started with a water & my husband got the Cosmic IPA.Our server circled back with our drinks and got our food order. He mentioned that happy hour was about to end and wanted to give me the option of getting a drink before it ended. I opted for a Bombay Safire cocktail and wasn’t disappointed. I love the extra effort and customer service with this step, without being pushy! We tried the giant pretzel and the 2024 Burger Battle entry, the Alanis Morissette… Let me start by saying that their pretzel is literally the largest pretzel I’ve ever seen and comes with 3, 4oz sauces for dipping, an amazing honey mustard sauce and two different types of cheese sauce… this was a great shareable option and would recommend for anyone with a large group. The pretzel is $18 and could easily be shared between 4-6 people. Now, onto the burger: it’s served on a brioche bun, comes with 2 patties, mayo, white American-cheese and a Hatch Chili salsa and choice of side.. The burger was delicious. The flavors melded together nicely and it was the perfect blend of slightly sweet and buttery flavors from the brioche bun to the savory and smokey combination of the cheese and hatch chili salsa. Will definitely be back!
My partner and I came here for food and drinks. The customer service was awesome! Our waitress was very accommodating and patient with us! Unfortunately, the food was not the best. The tots and cheese curds were absurdly salty, like I looove salt but they were even too salty for me. The French dip was literally just a Philly cheesesteak that came with dip. The wings were very dry and over cooked. Although the tacos are not authentic, the pork tacos were so good that I wish I couldve had more! They played great music and the drinks are well worth the price!
Great vibe and 3 different bars, along with the best (currently) patio in town. Lot of drink and local brew options, and overall a great experience on Thursday through Saturday, with standard pub-like vibe the rest of the week.
It was a great place. The sweet potato waffle fries with sour cream were to die for. Only draw back is it was all high top tables with a stool I had to hick up on because Im short and 69. No pads, just wood. The bar tender was so sweet and swapped me out a bit lower stool from the bar with padded seat and back. Thank you
Had the Steak Kabobs with apps. Calamari was perfectly cooked. That’s a lot of Nachos but they were pretty good. I’m told the fried cheese was good.Steak was a little chewy and not fully cooked. Couscous and grilled vegetables were yummy. Co-workers enjoyed their mac and cheese stuffed burgers and fries. We sat on the 2nd floor patio with the blazing sun. Waitress kept our water pitcher full and was attentive.Must be 21 to get in.
Pave has three separate bars and the settings are all completely different. When you walk in, you will see is a restaurant with a bar. Go up the stairs to your right, takes you to the outdoor boutique patio vibe with a bar. Past the bar, to your left is a bar games. When you go up the stairs to your left is a club with a live DJ and a bar. Really unique concept right in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls.
Filthy floor. Horrible service. Watered down stale tasting drinks, old ice. Gross bathrooms. A terrible experience/waste of money.
This is a 21 and over only place. We wanted a drink and dinner and they wouldnt let us in since we had a baby with us. It should be posted on the website stating that.
How do you charge me 9.50 for a carbless but than charge my friend only 7 for the same thing. Seems like the bartenders pick and choose prices for drinks.
Great place to enjoy drinks with friends on the rooftop, which is open to the outdoors. You can sit inside or outside. There are large round tables that seat 6/8 people with a fireplace in the center. Or you can stand with your friends and look out over the city while you sip a glass of wine. They also serve a limited menu. Great atmosphere for gathering! Loved it.
Been coming here early evenings. Play pool and get food/ drinks every time. Food, wait staff and bartenders have been nothing but great. Good time and place to hangout. We indulged before the photo was taken. Ghost burger with coleslaw, chicken grille sandwich with fries, cheese curds for a app. All were delicious.
I used to come to pave years ago. I still hear the same music now. Mainly edm remix. No new music even on Saturdays. Just pull up YouTube nobody’s gotta know.
I am not into the bar scene. In fact, I made a decision early on to never drink any alcoholic beverages, except for wine for communion at church. With that said, my rating is based on food and service alone. I took my wife to PAve on a date last night. We had a wonderful time. I ordered this Big Kahuna burger. The burger was picture-perfect in presentation. The only time Ive seen a burger look so good was on commercials. The taste of the burger was just as good. My wife was satisfied with her meal as well. We will go to PAve again for sure.
The bar and servers and bartenders are very professional and have good attitudes. The casino is very good. I love the place.
This place was recommended by our hotel because it has some of everything. We heard right. Great happy hour specials, amazing and beautiful rooftop patio, dancing/djs/live music semi regularly including a dance floor for those interested in more late night type stuff. We didnt try the food but we really liked our experience... a lot because of our bartender Ross.No presumptions, great conversation, would recommend.
Asked my brother for 2 forms of ID when he has a good ID. Bouncers are unprofessional and they dont answer the phone between 10pm-1am . Go to wileys instead
Went to pave on a Friday for a light meal, trivia, and some birthday drinks. 5pm trivia was pretty lame, we made the mistake of sitting upstairs and couldnt hear the questions at all. However, the upstairs seating has a beautiful view. Happy hour half price drinks were good. The Nachos were awful. Paid $14 and ate half just because we were hungry but the flavor is not good and the chips were super salty. No birthday special. Nice staff, started out attentive but as they got busier she kind of forgot about us, which she apologized for.
Summer and Fall - be prepared for the lines, to walk in, feel the heat from the bottom floor and walk out the opposite way you came in. Big dance floor, bomb food, and great bar tenders. Fun and usually chill. Nice outdoor roof area. Better during the day for the folks who arent into the drunk college age scene.
The best club experience in Sioux Falls. Nice drinks specials. Great music venue. The patio is nice. Great view. They need more bartenders on the weekend. It will take a while for a drink. But if you get a table, the waitresses are awesome.
My lawyers will be involved. I was physically assaulted by the “security” staff. My phone screen is cracked, my armani jeans are ripped, my brand new firetrap shirt ripped. Not to mention the amount of times I was choked, knees and elbows on my throat. I lost and still haven’t regained feeling in my left arm. Despite the amount of times I said I’m cool. The “security” staff would not let me up. When the police arrived everything was cool. I was served with a 6month trespass summons. As a businessman who supports local businesses I’m gonna swallow my code and finish this legally. Which honestly is a shame because I enjoyed most of my time .
The manager was a total jerk. There are WAY better establishments to hang out in. Dont waste your time here. The atmosphere is dead. The service is garbage. The kids that work here are jerks. Go anywhere else.
Used to enjoy stopping here with my wife.Today, the service was zip.So, we walked out to never return.Too bad after good credits had built up over 3 years….only to be vanquished in 5 minutes.
This place looks nice has a rooftop bar but when it came to the drinks they were serving the portion of the alcohol is very little! I paid 9$ per shot which was half of a to go salsa/ranch cup from a restaraunt. I read the great reviews but I was extremely disappointed. The upstairs bar is full of young employees who are talking to each other more than paying attention to customers. It’s also extremely hot up there. If anything downstairs people seem more professional and it’s much cooler there. Either way I wouldn’t go here with high expectations of the customer service or for good drinks. I can’t speak for the food as I did not have any.
Great food. Had wonderful service.
Imagine being in a bar downtown Sioux Falls. Its -20 degrees outside. You order a lift at 12:30am. The lyft cancels repeatedly like they do. The bartenders then kick you out of the bar into the cold. You urge them to let you stay warm until you have a safe ride home, but you are thrown in the cold anyway. Not their problem. Now you are stranded, freezing, and out of options. This is PAVE.
My mom and I had such a fun time at PAve yesterday afternoon. Monday is half price tacos and margaritas. The nachos and chicken tacos were delicious and our server was so nice! She was really kind and helpful. The patio is really cute and the wall with the album covers is cool, its a nice place to go with friends or family. Overall, a great time I think you should check it out if visiting Sioux Falls!
This place was a random pick which turned out to be a great evening for all of us. I love how this place decorated and laid out. Every time you look youre finding something new. Upstairs and downstairs bars. We were on the balcony with the firepit tables. Great service, prices, and space. The only thing I didnt like is when the bar closes and everyone is out front. Everyone blocks the sidewalk and street to try to leave and or pickup your party. This girl blocked all traffic because she was talking to random people in the street forever. So park away from the building itself if you plan to be there to close.
My friend and I had a great time here last night. The food was good, atmosphere was good, and our waitress Tiffany was great! We will be back!
Went here for the first time last Saturday night while I was in town and the place is nice and I liked how they have that huge patio on the upper level and liked how the place is big. I liked how they have a large dancefloor on the upper level as well. I liked how not only many of the peeps that were there were cool, friendly and chill but the place seems to draw some beautiful women as well! The drink prices were a little high but not terrible. The only major drawback is that this place closes 30 to 45 minutes before 2 AM which is kinda a bummer. If/when I happen to visit Sioux Falls again in the future on a weekend its likely ill be checking this place out again
Literally the best patio downtown! The open air atmosphere is always welcoming and the sitting area is well laid out. The staff is always accommodating and ready to serve (with a good pour for sure!). One of my favorite evening venues. Check them out but be careful of the Whitney Houston on the drink menu.... Its huge and will hit ya hard...lol. #cheers 🍻
Its hard to get through the door and its too crowded for a wind down weekend but good western music.
Everything is good i just think they can play better music. ik basic white girls love this place and music on the weekends.
The atmosphere is wild! The place is packed wall to wall. Just try to get a drink. You be standing in line at the bar for an hour...
Never have I received a more rude server. Our party of 14 was shocked at her disrespectfullness, rude comments and lack of caring. Severe enough to make a member of our party cry because they were confused on how to work the menu and had a question about an ingredient. We left and went to JL beers where we received fantastic service. The food is great but after an experience like that we unfortunately will never go back.
Awesome service, enjoyable space, very tasty food. We went for the burger battle and their 605 burger was eventing I would expect from a classic well loved food. The bun was perfectly paired with a very well seasoned patty, and to make it even more dreamy the pickles are house made and beyond enjoyable. I would recommend a great date here for good food, and Sundays are half priced drinks to top it off.
I mean if you want to be around unemployed liberals, fights, jumpings, and drugs come on a Friday & Saturday night. Dont believe me? Ask Sufu PD lol
Staff is amazing!! Im in a wheelchair due to an amputation. They are so good & fast at getting me ride on elevator!! They always hold the door open!! I lost my keys that night & one of the bouncers found them for me!! Nothing but good things to say!! I was there the weekend of sat. Nov 21st so thank the staff on that night!!
Went here for my last day of work, and the staff gave me all the free food. It was super weird! Like what?! FREE FOOD?!Sure Ill take it.Im definitely not writing this review ahead of time to show the server that this totally did happen and she should give me free food. Totally not.Nachos are great....*wink wink*
Great environment to meet new people and friendly staff! But there are lots of people so the wait time on drinks are long. Overall I would visit again!
Good atmosphere but terrible staff discipline. One bar tender mocked a customer after he receivied no tip due to giving the customer the wrong drink. Staff kicked everyone out into the cold 20 minutes before close leaving everyone without rides in 0° weather.
One of my favorite places to get drinks with friends and dance on the weekends. They recently added a rooftop patio with cool vibes and a great view of downtown. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to have fun on the weekends!
People were rude, you couldnt get a drink very fast, the bathrooms were gross and none of the sinks worked. This was one of the worst places I have ever been to, to have a good time.My daughters bachelorette party was a dud when it comes to trying to dance and have a good time
I got the loaded fries and they are extremely delicious especially the garlic aioli they also have pico de gallo bacon cheese and sriracha.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This bar is AWESOME! They have two bars, one on each floor, and they have a lounge, a stage, and a heated outdoor balcony. Service was excellent and the staff are awesome! In my opinion one of the best bars in Sioux Falls.
Love the lunch menu. Happy hour starts at 1pm and offers great drink specials. Night life scene cant be beat we dont always start here but we never dont go when out downtown.
Always good food. Love their appetizers - go with a group so you can sample several apps! The nachos or loaded fries, for example, are way too big to eat alone. Youre going to need to bring friends - or make friends while youre there. The new rooftop patio is beautiful with a very uptown feel.
PAve has always been my favorite bar in sioux falls. Ive lived here for a year and a half. And my only days off are Sundays. The bar tender Tiffany, has always gone above and beyond in customer service. Great humble positive personality.. To top it off, the Turkey sandwich is delicious! The fries that came with, were very unique and enjoyable. Highly recommend this bar.
I love Pave.A pivotal shift for Sioux Falls night life. It is an excellent Bar that I highly recommend you visit if youve never been to Sioux Falls Before.Pros:Honestly great Bar Food at great price for a lunch / non weekend Dinner option.Rooftop Patio.Options. Dont like Crowds? Stay Downstairs. Wanna Dance? You already know it will play (fairly generic) club music. The environment of the place is Young, fun, and consistently a good time.Staff. Some of the Staff has been there since it opened. They love being there and are able to handle massive crowds drinks as smoothly as youd expect on a Friday / Saturday night.Essentially, its Pave. You will have a good time when you go. If you dont want to be part of the craziness, go any time of the week before 10pm.----There are certain aspects of the Bar I think could be done better. They are not necessarily Cons but my opinion on why I dont go often:Target Crowd is 21-26 Year Olds. I would have been a Pave religiously if it existed during my party phase. That being said, youre not going there to play Pool/ chill/ relax.People are generally wasted at Pave since its usually the last spot people end up at for the night. There will be a line to get in both the Front and the Back. Dont complain, because it is to control the flow even if the bar isnt at capacity.Drink Prices. Good Lord I am anything but cheap when I go out, and understand how drinks work at the bar. But you will most likely get doubles because of the long drink times and ordering 4 drinks for your crew will add up very quickly for average strength drinks.Flow. I think the bar gets crowded because of the layout rather than slow bartenders. Luckily fights/accidents dont happen too much because of it but you will be nut to Butt with strangers to get anywhere so be polite and have fun.Long review, but Ill always have love for Pave. Please visit it at least once and find out for yourself!
The bar is decorated well and the staff is friendly. They have a fire pit that isnt working (and hasnt worked for a a while (but maybe it is fixed now!)) They should get more because they are a big fave. On weekends, it is shoulder to shoulder and a little chaotic.
Super crowded on weekends but overall a fun place to go out with friends, and have a good time! Staff are very sweet! The wait for drinks isn’t bad, obviously it’s takes some time sense it’s usually super busy
I really enjoyed PAve. Yeah the name is dumb. The toilets are dumb. Besides that they did an awesome job remodeling this place. It looks great. The food is 100% on point. They have a giant pretzel the size of a birthday cake that came out hot and fresh with stone ground mustard and two kinds of cheese. They have a great cocktail menu. The burger we had was an excercise in pure gluttony. It was so good. I cant wait to come back.
With held my debit card. Wouldnt like me collect my card. Now they wont send it to me in the mail. Watch out for this place they have sketchy policy. Just pay cash. Dont give them your card.
This place has a very great dance scene 1 of the best Sioux falls has to offer with 2 floors disco lighting always 4-5 bartenders on staff. Always ids friendly atmosphere tight security overall great place to go clubbing and 1 of the safest in Sioux falls
Late night dancing and drinks were lots of fun
Sam., Ellie, Zach and “ T” amazing service !!!They work diligently to assist you!VEGAS BOMB
Pave is a great nightclub venue. The multi level design makes it feel huge! Bar service is good but the DJs can be hit or miss. 5 out of 6 times I greatly enjoyed myself , the one time I just wasnt a fan of the music but as a venue its 5 stars!
Good if you like super noisy club settings, service was good. Patrons were annoying
Worst patio experience I have ever had, waited 10 minutes for no service they never came to our table, went to the bar for service and went back to our table waited another 30 minutes still no service, went to the manager and told her that we had NO service and her reply was if you can find better servers send them to me. Would NOT recommend this place to anybody. We are business owners and definitely would not tolerate service like this. VERY DISAPPOINTED, avoid this place if youre looking for a good time.
The drinks for a strong plenty of tables to sit around. Lots of people walking around good loud music had a good time there.
Staff is an absolute delight, drinks are delicious and the music is banging. Everything you want in a bar/club at night and a great restaurant by day. A weekly favorite for us.
Great drinks and prices! A club hotspot in Sioux Falls. No coat check that I can recall, better brave the cold or prepare to hold your coat the whole night. They do have a pretty good food selection for lunch and dinner at a good price too.
Great food/drinks and fun atmosphere. Could easy make a meal out of their giant soft pretzel....so delicious. Also have an egg burger and fries, equally delicious 😋
Great food and an extremely wide variety of beer. Only disappointing factor was they only had one local beer among all the national brands. The food was excellent, albeit the standard bar food of burgers and sandwiches, and the service was quick and courteous.
Not a horrible bar, but they bounced our friend from Chicago. Apparently they dont even bother checking Illinois IDs, and you have to call the bar during the day to get in if you are from Illinois. Pretty absurd policy, considering the amount of potential customers who may be visiting Sioux Falls from Chicago.
What a fun place! Great rooftop bar. Great atmosphere. Love the wall murals, especially Burt, hubba, hubba😁 Drinks were a little burned but will be back!
Visiting from Texas, this was the worst bar I’ve ever been to in my years. We were greeted by a doorman who was newly blacked out, and then had our id’s checked by a guy who was not far behind him. We decided to go upstairs and within the 15 minutes of being there, saw 4 near fights and a guy who wanted to fight us over a line at the bar?Instead of buying drinks, spend your money on buying a plane ticket out of this god forsaken state. Cheers.
This place hospitality and customer service is horrible. I think they are only kind to the Caucasian race. I have been in there a few times because I like their french dip but I was treated so badly that I will never go in there again. One of them I believe is a manager so she should know better. But really it isnt the 1890s anymore. Get with the program. Be warned that unless you are a conservative white person wearing a suit and tie, you will get treated disrespectfully here.
One of the best outdoor patios in town. Food is good, not amazing but that’s what I would expect from food at a bar. If going there, I recommend sticking to the nachos and staying away from the rest of the menu.
I eat here often because the food is always amazing. My favorite is their steak bruschetta salad, but Ive also had the lettuce wraps and panini and would recommend those too. Their beer selection is huge and they always have some local beers. Theres a bunch on tap and even more cans available
A truly excellent establishment with amazing staff.... excellent food...amazing cocktails...and the perfect setting if you are looking for a one night stand with a local love of your choice... granted it is no Club David but still a great place with a over the top version of the Chicago Dog....come for the drinks stay for the food!!!
I liked the music and the bar staff were friendly! I will say that the floor plan is very open and there arent really natural walk ways. Unfortunately, this means a lot of drunk people walking into you and spilling your brand new gin and tonic.
Their system they use to scan IDs is extremely hit or miss. I tried going there, and the guy told me he already scanned in my ID that night, even though I hadnt been there yet that night. Instead of explaining himself, he was very rude to me. Worried my identity had possibly been stolen, I called the police, but she told me they get calls from there all the time for the same issue. My friends had gotten in without issue, so I went to the back door and they let me in with no issue.
We were kicked out for taking pictures. We bought drinks but that wasnt good enough. They said we had to talk to a manager before hand but no manager was there.Update: Talked to one of the owners and he apologized for our experience, and was going to work on a better process so it didnt happen again.
Probably the premiere nightlife option in sioux falls. Always packed with dancing on the weekends. Decent alcohol selection and apps when the kitchen is open. They have a really nice large open 2nd level with some trees and couches and tables. Can socialize or dance as the dance floor opens to this area.
Fun place to dance. Younger crowd. Nice outdoor patio with fireplaces. Two levels. Popular downtown location.
When the hall monitor hunts you down and tells you that you cant wear your clothes the way they are designed to be worn, you are not allowed to ask them why or even where the dress code is posted. But hey, its their bar and if they want to have a silly dress code and silly enforcement thats their business. Lots of other downtown choices.
Terrible, bad manager, and ageist. My friend was mentally distraught after the ordeal that went down at Pave. My friend was a loyal patron of Pave and went there a least once a week until she was stopped at the door and told that her legal ID was fake with no explanation as to why she was rejected this time. The manager insisted that she couldnt stand in the entryway to contact her friend and had to go out into the negative degree weather fully thinking other clubs would not take her when she didnt have a jacket.
We come here often on weekdays because we aren’t a fan of going out on the weekends. As a result, we often play music we like on their TouchTunes. We were approached by a bartender on a recent visit and asked if we were playing the music on the touchtunes. My fiancé responded that we were and then we were asked to not play those songs anymore as their “clientele on weekdays” doesn’t appreciate them. She then reset the touchtunes so the rest of the songs we paid for weren’t processed and didn’t play.Normally we have really good experiences here and we enjoy being customers, but not when our experience is apparently worth less than other customer’s experiences. We likely won’t be back on our weekdays.
Terrible service. Great environment tho. Seems as if the owner doesn’t want to pay workers
Service was extremely slow and we were the only ones downstairs. We ordered off the menu and were both disappointed in the taste of our paninis. This was my first time coming in. Unfortunately there are so many other types of restaurants that I will be spending my money at than PAve.
Absolutely love the patio! Nothing else like it in Sioux Falls! Unique food selection. Great place to have dinner or go out on a Saturday!
Love it on the week days, weekends tend to be on the busy side if you want to sit and talk with whoever you are out with. However, if you want to dance, this is a great option.
Had a great time.
I love the second story patio here. Its always super packed here on the weekends but the music is always good and on Fridays they do $3 flavored long Islands so thats fun.
Great, friendly service. Can get excessively warm upstairs on the weekend due to how popular/crowded it is. Downstairs is much better though. Great drink selections.
I have had fun at PAve in the past, but a couple of weeks ago I had my phone stolen from my back pocket. I filed a police report and the detective assigned to my case asked the manager if he could come in to view some security footage from that night (which should be easy because I know where I was at the time of the incident, I know who took it, and I know the time frame, which was very short). The manager told him it would be a waste of time, even after the detective told him that five phones had been reported stolen in the past two weeks by PAve-goers. The complete unwillingess to help my detective and by extension, me, out is apalling. I have had a good experience in the past with the bartenders and security staff, especially during the night of the incident. The food is good, but after this encounter, Ill think twice about ever going there again. Not because my phone was taken—that was obviously my own fault, but because of how it was handled by management. And if you go to PAve, keep your phone in a purse or in an inside jacket pocket.
Wants to be a college town bar so bad. If you’reLooking for fun go 445 minutes down the road to Brookings. Just a joke of an establishment. They want so hard what brookings has
Bad business and a Complete disregard for personal property! Beware!!! On August 23rd my 20 year old daughter was on a workplace outing downtown. She misplaced her coach purse (A gift from someone special) which contained her coach wallet and valuables worth close to $1500. She seemed to remember possibly having the purse last at the corner of 10th and Phillips. The next day (August 24th) she called all of the businesses on that corner which included, PAve, The Diner, Coffea, Yoshima, and others. All of them, Including an employee at PAve said that they had not had anyone turn in a purse. This past Sunday (November 17th) my daughter was on Facebook Messenger and found a hidden message dated back to the day she lost her purse. A Good Samaritan found the purse on 10th street and Sent a message that he had left it at Pave to ensure she got it back. She was surprised because she had called Pave back on August 24th and was told they didn’t have it. At this point she became excited and called Pave. She was told that they had just donated all of their lost and found And that they donate items every 6 months. Not believing what they had told her, I called Pave. The woman on the phone Remembered the purse and in a very rude manner told me that “my daughter must have gotten in their establishment with a fake ID because they found her real ID in her purse.” I informed them that she was never in their establishment. Is that why they didn’t try to contact her? When I asked why they wouldn’t have called the police, or tried to find her and return her property, she said that people leave things there all the time. The next day, I called and talked to the manager(Rob) , he was argumentative and informed me that he didn’t see anything wrong with not finding my daughter to return her purse. He also told me that people leave high dollar items there all the time. A friend of ours also got in touch with the General Manager. There was no apology and no offer to make things right. We were told that they donated her new, expensive purse to the Goodwill or Salvation Army. I’m sorry but I find that hard to believe. The man who turned that purse in thought that it was in a safe place. This is very disheartening, shady, and this business cannot be trusted to do the right thing! Very Unfortunate that it has come to this!
Great food, service was a little slow but we were in during the first month of opening so I wasnt too worried. Hoping the reopening (for those out of town, there was structural damage from a neighbor building collapsing) happens in March!
Too packed over rated to many problems, and fights almost every time I go, Id rather stay away! Good music but besides that, too crowded, over priced, and too much drama.
PAVE BAR STEALS FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!Please be very careful before deciding to spend your time there. A few months ago I was downtown with a couple of my Work friends, I sat my purse down and forgot it when we were taking a picture, the next day I called around to the surrounding businesses which included paved work friends, I sat my purse down and forgot it when we were taking a picture, the next day I called around to the surrounding businesses which included Oshima sushi, Pave bar, Coffea, the Diner etc...Each business told me that they had not received or seen the purse I described. all of those businesses were truthful except for pave bar, I just recently went on my Facebook messenger and saw a message from a person I didn’t know telling me that they had found my purse on August 23 and they were going to leave it at pave due to it being one of the closest businesses, seeing this message three months later gave me a lot of hope because I thought for sure my $400 coach purse and wallet were for sure nowhere to be found, I called pave the day I saw the message and they told me that that purse had never been turned in, then my mom called five minutes later being a little bit more stern than I was and they admitted to having the purse, and that they found my ID in it and saw that I was a minor, they thought that a minor had got into their bar and they were scared that they were going to get in trouble for it, therefore They did not try to return my purse when the man had turned it in on August 23 (the day i lost it)and they also lied when I called August 24 and said that they didn’t have my purse. after about five different stories they told me that they only keep the lost and found for six months to a year, but that didn’t make sense considering it had only been three months since my purse was turned in. pave the bar had every means of contacting me and getting my purse back but since they thought they would get in trouble for having a minor in there a bar They thought it would be better to lie and say that it was never turned in, then they continued to tell stories like they donated it to Goodwill or salvation army when we all know that a bunch of waitresses and bartenders in their 20s and 30s didn’t donate a $400 purse and wallet. they thought it would be better to lie and say that it was never turned in, then they continued to tell stories like they donated it to Goodwill or salvation army when we all know that a bunch of waitresses and bartenders in their 20s and 30s didn’t donate a $400 purse and wallet. Pave bar is full of dishonest people. They steal and lie and i would never recommend them ever.
Was packed, but great would definitely go again and I do recommend this for a date in the week or a weekend hang out, everyone was so cool had fun, if u havent gone its a got to go thing., lot of fun and memory s
If your going to charge me $10 for a Manhattan you should know how to make it.... And just because its busy doesnt mean I want to drink out of a plastic cup like a collage kid. If your going to charge like a high end joint then deliver high end service.
A very nice, clean, and classy bar catering to the younger crowds. Dont let that fool you, though. They may cater to the younger crowds but they have something for everyone!
A very nice place to go with friends and have some drinks.
A great place to have a drink and eat some food. They are known as a great club environment but also have some of the best food in town. Great customer service.
Fantastic food. Had the lettuce wraps and chislics. Absolutely delicious and at a great price! The patio was a wonderful touch too
First time there. The upper level patio was fantastic. Played some pool and threw some bean bags. I would definitely go back again the next time Im in town.
Upper end bar. Busy with young people and dancing to a DJ on the weekends, casual business during the week with great food. Locally owned, with friendly, outgoing, active owners.
Had high hopes after eating the onion rings, but they were the highlight of the evening. I had a beer and the Fish and Chips. The beer tasted watered down. The fish were very greasy, the batter had no flavor of its own, and half of the chips were overdone while others were still soggy. We also ordered the Club Sandwich with hash browns. There was a puddle of grease under the hash browns which leaked over to the sandwich, making it soggy.Overall not impressed, will not be returning.
Really unique trendy place. 2 levels, both with own concept can get quiet happy hour early & DJ dance club crazy at 10 plan accordingly
Cold food, super delayed, and no compensation for the horrible experience. Our waitress just looked at us like we were the ones with the problem and then simply handed us our checks like they had no problem with mediocrity.
We had the Thai Chicken wrap. It was delicious. The fries were outstanding. Service was great!! We will go back.
Amazing food. Service staff was super nice. It was pretty busy so a little slow but they more than made up for it.
This was the 2nd time we have been there. We are from Minnesota and have been chking out Sioux Falls for a possible retirement location. We took our kids there this last saturday and oh my, they have the Very Best Bacon Cheesburgers! Their french fries are really really good also! Our meal came Hot and the waiter/bartender couldnt have been nicer or more helpful when asked about a beer selection. We have eaten across the street at the silver diner but Skellys has them beat. We will be back!
Really awesome place for all age dancing as long as you dont stay real late because all it is then is younger crowd
Immaculate location. First floor decor/layout decent. Second floor is a mess. Poor design horrid stage positioning and the bar is located to create a mass booze thirsty crowd that spills onto the make shift dance floor AWFUL. Plus there is a random pool table?? The first floor I see effort, the second is a confused knock off warehouse feel. I Dont get it.Pave: Add some couches, bottle service, if you can manage.... Build a V.I.P. Section. There are tons of no talent rappers in Sioux Falls you will make a killing. Also make a roof top bar: there is only one in the city and its tiny. Nice but tiny. Throw some cabanas up there with a designated dance floor elevated stage and a bar *with enough bar tenders* and double your profit. So much potential for this replicated city......use your platform.#blah
I was there two weekends ago and got talked to by a girl how was making fun of me and my disability and this for everyone how makes fun of disable I will not stand for it. so if I see or catch you making fun of disabled people I am going to yell at u and then tell u to grow up other than that was good place to hang out.
Had a great meal. High class without high class prices. Great menu and atmosphere. Friendly staff and management. Had a great time with Jon, one of the partners!!
This place offers a good atmosphere for drinks and get togethers. Prices are about average for drinks. Has an up and downstairs and roof top seating area.
Fun outdoor seating.
Deep fat fried bacon and cheeseballz on my burger! Atmosphere is really cool too, love the dance floor, and eating dinner on the roof!
Great atmosphere for everything you want from a big bar/club☑ Great dance floor☑ Sitting area☑ Rooftop☑ Drink specials
Pave has a wonderful combination of great food during the day, and an awesome atmosphere at night. Id recommend it to anyone looking for a nice time, whichever preference you prefer.
The bartender Heather was awesome! She was a smart a** but not in a mean way! She was fun to be around!
Love this place. Great food and staff with a downtown atmosphere. Brand new roof top bar and newly remodeled
Never been here in the daytime but nighttime was okay drinks are pricey environment is crowded but better since they’ve opened a second part upstairs love the way it looks music is trash but okay if you’re from the Midwest lol mixture of people is nice great clubby environment even downstairs which gives you a better chill vibe
The food and service are great bit they serve it on completely flat plates so youre going to make a mess. I would go during the day because the clientele is pretty douchey at night.
Everything was pretty good -- the burger, beers and atmosphere. Fair service though it was pretty early in the night so not a real gauge of it would be like when its busy.
If u want a friendly atmosphere dont come here. The staff will literally and I mean literally take the chairs out from under you. I will never come back by own will
Fantastic food...the Sriracha Burbon burger was incredible, great fries...fun atmosphere and the service was friendly and helpful! Well be back!
Very nice atmosphere and design.....great food (spicy chicken caesar salad 🔥🔥), wonderful service!! Only suggestion: please add cognac to your drink menu!!
Waited 20 mins for service or for someone to even acknowledge we were there- tables were dirty and filled with dishes - staff seemed stressed but just walking in circles. Gorgeous patio
Pace closes 45 min before last call . Over priced drinks, no personal ability from bartenders. Not a good place to let go and have fun
Drink specials are what drew me in. The tacos are not aomething i would recommend. I have only been there once and everyone has a bad day. I will definatly try this place again.
This place was really nice, fun and not two expensive. It was a little crowded upstairs but was fine in the end
Pretzels man. But everything else is pretty great. The astetics of the place seems a little to We are trying to be the hip, cool place to be, but I dont think they need it.
Two floors with a large patio on the 2nd floor. Great view of Downtown Sioux Falls!
Very very personable gal!! Clean car...prompt service..thankyou sweetheart for getting us home safely!! Appreciate good people like you!!
This place is the most popular and funnest bar/ club in town. Drinks music and dancing what more could you ask for!
Love this place! Marissa and Tiff are the best bartenders. Always so fun and wonderful to be around
Excellent food!! Even tho due to Covid they had a very limited menu it was still very good. Will be a return customer for sure
Decent place way too busy on weekebd nights
The dj could find better music. Went on Saturday night and it was ok.
It was nice to have to floors of dancing and one for chilling. Not too bad. Good music.
We wait at the bar for 25 minutes and we don’t get served!! I don’t know why. Does the bartender have beef with me?! I don’t know you bro!
Food is great. The environment is fun but the floors are very sticky for some reason. Staff is very friendly.
My wife had to change her last name to mine and Minnesota issues a paper ID and claim it works anywhere. Pave will not accept paper ID even though it’s issued from the state of Minnesota. If you lose your license or anything and are from Minnesota you won’t get in
Nice spot for food and drinks downtown. Service was friendly and food was good
Super packed so its hard to get a drink but great music and friendly staff
LOVE THIS PLACE! Great food, great people, great atmosphere. You cannot go wrong here!
Food and atmosphere was great! Ate on the upper level over looking the town, very nice place!
Nice ambiance and roof top seating. The food and drinks were great as well!
Was quiet when I was there, 21 and over only.. Nice to just sit and have a drink without kids around
Loved it here, drinks aren’t too spendy and the music and dancing is perfect.
Friendly and great service! Perfect drinks, too. Very fun at night, too.
One of my favorite bars in town- always packed on Friday-Saturday nights. Drinks aren’t outrageous; $4-$8 typically.
The environment was awesome, there was tons of people but to get a drink, it was a task and be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes...
Come in for lunch once in awhile. Good food and nice servers. However, stop serving straws automatically. It’s wasteful and irresponsible.
2 different attmopspheres here. One is more chill and relaxing and upstairs is a dance club. Great place!
Do get the jumbo pretzel. Dont get the deep-fried bacon. Do ask what the seasonal taps are. Do check your burger for doneness (mine was over).
Nice two Floor experience that provides a Great area upstairs for dancing and a more quiet less crowded bar and grill area downstairs!
Cute decor. Good service. Great off day specials. Sunday is cheap night. Hit it hard and appreciate the space
Well just so you know, this is probably the only Night Club for youngsters in Sioux Falls. Its fun, its restless, and remember its packed to the MAX.
Food was good and generous portion. Staff was friendly and helpful but service was a little slow.
Fun crowd good music. Very crowed though can barely walk wait in long for drinks for over 5 minutes
The new lights make the dance floor to bright. Other then that good drinks cheap booze.
Good food, stay away from Thursday Friday Saturday nights unless you live the club scene
Love the atmosphere and we had a really fun waitress.
Feels more like a club than a bar, but its still fun to go there and dance.
Pool tables. Fire-pit tables. Not too loud outside. Loud dance floor inside. Good people watching.
Too many people
Great place to go dancing and have fun. They often have gpod deals on drinks as well!
Nice and quiet during the week. Good drinks and food. Great staff.
Bartender stole $6 from me when I layed cash for two drinks. Dont trust the blonde upstairs!
Cool place to party.. however didnt like the fact they end the night at 1:30
Great patio space. Its a great place before it turns into a club at night.
Love this place. Live bands. Unique cuisine. Tasty burgers and sides, with some spicy options.
Was a fun place to dance but this passed weekend the dj just played miss after miss. Didnt do requests.
Depending on what night you visit. Some nights have nothing going on and other nights its going on. But they may also not play a song you request of it to old.
PAve is a great place to spend lunch or happy hour on any given day and an awesome party spot for you and your friends on the weekend!
Nice entertainment spot. Good drink prices and good drink specials
Ok atmosphere for younger folk ! Has patio on roof and is very nice in good weather . Service is sub-par .
Atmosphere is great. Just a fun place to be. Rooftop patio is awesome.
Food is awesome. Went for a silent auction, great turn out. Got what we went for.
Dr love burger is really good, the waygu patty was perfect and good BBQ on it
Friend can from Minnesota and just got married. Her last name was changed and she got a paper license per Minnesota law. Pave would not accept a legal dmv piece of paper.
Awesome bartender! Good food. You have to try their fries
Delicious food and great service! Fun atmosphere.
