I love The Rose Room. I’ve been to the show more than once and it’s a fun experience to enjoy with friends for a night out during the weekend! Both times my friends and I went to the late show and we brought dollar bills for the go-go dancers—which was very exciting! The Rose Room is a small, intimate space with sofas to lounge in while you watch the show, and right outside the area is a bar where you can get yourself delicious cocktails to sip on! The cabaret acts feature spectacular singers, daring dancers, and a marvelous magician who likes to pick out volunteers from the audience to help during his act. My favorite magic act was when he picked out the card I that I had written my name on—it was mixed into the deck which was then placed into a paper bag, the magician was blindfolded, and he pulled my card out with a knife! My description doesn’t capture how exciting this experience was—and I still have my card souvenir! Visit The Rose Room for something different and exciting, something you can enjoy with friends or as a date night experience.
Ive had the fortune to visit The Rose Room several times during New York trips and its always been a pleasure. The amount of talent on display is an absolute hidden gem, especially for the price. Everyone involved are kind, talented and welcoming. If you like a mix of cabaret and Burlesque with just enough sexualitly to scare the prudes, this place is definitely worth your time.
Loved the intimate setting and the overall vibes. The cast are amazing performers who genuinely interact with you. The performances are amazing and they change every time I visit. Then they have a party at the bar outside where the bartenders make great drinks. You can spend your night dancing, drinking, and watch a show. You get your money’s worth and then some. I’ve never felt uncomfortable or out of place. It is a welcoming space which you don’t find a lot of in NYC nightlife. I can’t wait to see my next show! 10/10 would recommend
I can only speak for the 9pm showing but it was so wonderful! Everyone was super friendly and the show itself (a magic show with Mystique) was so amazing. He was funny, did really cool tricks (he made me levitate!), involved all of the audience at one point or another and since it was such a small and intimate room it felt great. One thing I will say is that inside the actual room it is a bit chilly so you should definitely bring a sweater but the drinks were amazing, the employees were perfect, and the experience itself was a 10 out of 10
False advertising with the videos that seem to entice the viewer to a fantastic show!!! Much to the contrary! The show advertises champagne table for $250 and it’s just a simple table with a very uncomfortable sofa seat and ACTUALLY no champagne!! What is that??? It’s the same price as 5 individual $50 seats which were already overpriced! I really wish i didnt waste money on this! The performances are not WOW, the burlesque is pedestrian and definitely not at the expected NYC level! Drink service was also a mess! Constantly getting drinks wrong and barely any alcohol in it! Would definitely not recommend!
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in NYC and I’ve lived here for almost 20 years! False advertising doesn’t even come close. We booked a $250 champagne table for 2 - no champagne showed up but that isn’t even the worst part. The room is TINY. Whatever the website or the flyer shows, you don’t believe it. The room is the size of a studio apartment. Actually smaller. Barely big enough for a few uncomfortable couches, let alone any sort of circus. That is, unless you count the drinks and service, which are complete jokes. They kept mixing up drinks and clearly had no clue. Do not waste your money.
Was visiting from Colorado and found The Rose Room online, When I saw it was a Speakeasy Circus Burlesque I was sold! The shows are amazing! Everyone is Amazing! I enjoyed coming to this place out of all the other places we visit in town. We will be back and I suggest anyone to check this hidden Speakeasy Spot in Midtown 44th Street of the 9th Ave. They are hidden inside this venue called the Producers Club.
Accidentally bought VIP tickets (please be careful with Fever- they had my payment info saved and what seems likes a go to cart option is really a straight to confirm order option). Ive contacted both Rose Room and Fever to no avail. Most expensive window shopping ever and management has been crickets. As a performer and patron, its really disappointing.
Ive been to the Rose Room about 4 times specifically at the 11pm show, and its definitely a go to spot late night with either friends or your partner/s. Everyone there is absolutely fantastic, from the host, bartenders, dancers and performers, Its a very intimate and welcoming spot, I reccommend you going there especially if you want to have a fun sponteneous sexy night!
I really wish i didnt waste money on this! n its expensive. the drinks are pricy, room is TINY and HOT! for $100, you sit on a EXTREMELY uncomfortable sofa, some seats without even a back for the entire show. The performances are not WOW they are stuff anyone can do with a bit of practice. Card tricks? come one now.. Im not sure how anyone can enjoy this. They charge a lot and during breaks/intervals they expect you to tip them for doing dances one can do at home! Sorry ill PASS next time.
This place is Magical! You go up to the bar and think huh? But then the speakeasy is so gorgeous!!! Shows are fun and sexy, drinks are delish, if a little pricey. Definitely a show worth seeing any night if the week. I’ll be going back soon.
I came with my wife last week it was her Birthday and she had the best birthday party in years. She doesnt stop talking about it.I recommend The Rose Room NYC for Everyone! Something you dont see in New York these days.Gary
The worst money I have ever spent in NYC.1 - EXTREMELY overpriced2 - FALSE ADVERTISING!!! The champagne table, despite being $250 for 2 people and being labelled private table with champagne, did not have champagne or come with any sort of included beverage3 - service and drinks were terrible4 - show was mediocre at bestHighly recommend you do something else, this is NOT worth it.
To be brutally honest if the owner didnt give us 2 bottles of very sweet champagne and the (less than ONE hour of TWO) talents being very talented I would have given 1 star.Shame on you Feverup!!!!!! And sorry Rose room, but to pay the price we did with expectations given us from Fever, this was a waste of money and a very long trip from Long Island for this dissapointment.Fever corrected ALL of their errors on their sight, but were were told 8pm to 1030. We were told VIP table has light food offerings included, up front seating and wonderful libations for sale. We were told a circus cabaret show (nope, nope and nope!)We got there 750pm, were told the show and doors dont open until 9pm and had to sit in the bar area about an hour while waiting, the bar had a VERY LIMITED menu of drinks and was CASH ONLY!!! After we were let into the TINY show area (which was, positively speaking, beautifully smokey and decorated) we sat on extremely uncomfortable couches which I suggest you be careful plopping yourself on or you might fracture a few spinal vertebrae, looked at the extremely limited bar menu, there was NO FOOD offerings at our tiny VIP tables, the tables were taller than us because we sank into the horrible couches, waited for the show which didnt start until 930ish and ended before 1030, there were literally 2 performers, the singer (no offense) was not dressed appropriately then she kept trying to sell us the 1130 show which never would have happened after this dissapointment. When the show ended earlier than it should have, I was like, what, thats it? All this money for this? I have so much more to complain about but to be honest, I dont want to relive the dissapointment any longer. Just take my advice, FIND SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO DO ON YOUR PRECIOUS SATURDAY NIGHT.I am going to be contacting fever and asking for some money back. I doubt I will get any, but am going to try. I feel ashamed to have convinced my friends to come here, spend all this money and all to be dissapointed. AND, if anyone in your party gets COVID and needs to cancel last minute, dont expect and money back too!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!
This was a waste of money. The place was not comfortable. We were cramped in our seats then two dudes came and stood in front of us blocking the whole “show”. Drinks were unnecessarily expensive. We left midway because the two dudes didn’t want to move. And it was not worth fighting for because the “show” was just not worth it.
Despite having paid tickets, we were told we were not VIP, so we were not allowed in.I would recommend avoiding this spot if youre not part of their definition of VIP.
Such a fun night! Great acts, great service, great drinks.
Unique and bit of a throwback NYC entertainment experience where a bit of old style cabaret meets modern stylings
Awesome 👌
