Eastside Massage Therapy

Ana Maria was respectful of my boundaries that I listed on the form beforehand and explicitly told me what to expect which eased the anxiety I felt prior to my first ever massage. She gave me the option to apply or lessen pressure and took into consideration my target areas (neck, back, and legs). At the end, she gave me suggestions on what stretches I should do to extend the effects. I will definitely be going back after long and strenuous hikes! :)

Olga is absolutely incredible. After just 3 sessions, I have a whole new back and neck. I had a serious neck injury that has caused chronic neck and back pain for 6 years. I’ve been to massage therapists all over NYC and no one has been able to release all the tension and make me feel pain free the way Olga has. I intend to go to her regularly because I trust her expertise more than anyone I’ve ever worked with. I could not recommend her more!!!

Not one to post, I felt compelled to praise the work of Esther . Her treatment was integrated and intuitive . She incorporates fascial release and mobilization of the joints (specifically shoulders). It was one of the most therapeutic massages I’ve ever had .

This is a great place to get the best massage in the area, friendly staff, clean, good atmosphere and the prices are really good.Ive received different type of massage with Pilar (she gave me the best deep tissue Ive ever received) , paco (hes excellent, great pressure and also he did an amazing deep tissue) and Lynn (she has a angel hands, great therapeutic Massage) they are great therapists, all of them and the others too.I highly recommend Eastside Massage Therapy.

I came to Eastside Massage for the first time today. The atmosphere was very peaceful, welcoming and the woman at the front desk was friendly. I received a 60 min headache relief massage from Paco. He made sure the massage was catered to my personal needs and was very knowledgeable. The massage itself was amazing, I’m pretty sure I fell asleep and left floating lol. I will definitely be going back!

I went for a massage and a problem with my neck and it felt like a rub down and did not Target the issue enough never felt like a massage only like she was rubbing and patting me definitely not worth the money and didnt feel any relief

Fantastic 90-minute deep tissue massage. Raffy was excellent. Really worked out all my muscle knots.I have been going here for many years and am never disappointed. I always emerge feeling much better. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Brittany and she did an excellent job working at all the knots. The front office is always pleasant and efficient. And the prices are well worth the great massages.

I’ve been coming to Eastside Massage Therapy for a little over three years and worked with many therapists and they all have been great! The rooms are clean and all the tables have heating pads (which I love). Front desk staff is kind and respectful and I always leave feeling much better. I saw Sepali recently and I absolutely loved her! 10/10 would recommend.

Eastside massage is a very professionally run massage studio. It’s beautiful, clean, quiet. Great ambience - what a massage studio should be like. The massage therapist Josh that I went to was unparalleled. I was so relaxed and his techniques were perfect. He listened to me prior and really made the experience relaxing but really helped my muscles where they were hurting.

This is my go-to place for a go massage in the city. I’ve definitely had better but for the price, you really can’t beat it in the area. Staff is kind and respectful. They have a firm touch but will adjust to your preferences.There’s usually not a super long wait time, 10-15 minutes, especially if you make an appointment. You can make appointments online and they don’t require a credit card which is awesome.

Eastside Massage is known to be one of the best in NYC. Courteous, professional, relaxing, clean and soothing are adjectives I would use to describe the staff and the space. Ive recommended Eastside to many people and Ive been going there for over 15 years. Being incredibly consistent also makes them easy to recommend for such a long time.

Im not one to leave reviews but I received my massage with Ashley and shes amazing. She really listens to what your body needs. And takes great feedback to make sure my massage is tailored to my needs. One thing Ive learned is we cannot be afraid to speak up during services being given to us. This way we as consumers get EXACTLY what we want and the providers know EXACTLY what we need. You cant just assume they know exactly whay to give you when they dont know you from a hole in the wall. Ive been through that before so Im glad its taught me you build that relationship!! Ashley is a prime example of that and I cant wait for out next session.Just thought Id leave a review because she deserved it!

I just had a wonderful massage with Pilar! She found and worked the knots out of my neck and shoulders - and didn’t stop there - moving on to help loosen muscles I didn’t even realize were tight. I’m looking forward to more sessions with Pilar!

Eastside Massage Therapy is so great, I have to share! I had a massage with Nina today and she was fabulous! Very special touch, very strong and deep, and she could really find my tense spots (knots!) and worked them out. I did post a review on Yelp years ago but this place just keeps getting better-- warmed cozy massage bed, wonderful smelling and clean, relaxing atmosphere from start to finish, and very reasonably priced. This is a treatment for all aspects of life; mind, body, and soul. I left the stress of the holiday season on that table of Ninas! Fabulous massage!

As a massage therapist myself, I can definitely say that Eastside Massage has some very amazing and talented therapist!!! Ive been seeing Addie for a few months now to ease my chronic neck pain. She is slowly working through years of tension and she has been so beneficial. Addie takes a very detailed approach to my specific pain (and knows more about neck anatomy than anyone else Ive met), and has also given me a full body massage that was wonderful. I always feel comfortable with her and look forward to seeing her!

I just left my second massage at Eastside with Allysia and holy wow I feel amazing. Ive felt like a sack of jello after both sessions, in the best possible way. Not only does Allysia reach spots I never knew were sources of tension, but she also freely offers knowledge throughout the session to help me feel better in the interim between massages. She even took the time after my massage to show me stretches I can do daily to help with my problem areas. She also made sure to check in with me verbally throughout the session to help locate the exact spots that needed more attention. The front desk staff is lovely, the facilities are clean and quiet and relaxing. My next session is booked and Im never going back to suffering through my back pain again. Im in love, thank you Allysia and Eastside!!

Booked a 90 min deep tissue massage with Nathalia. She is perfect. Strong pressure (as requested) but still relaxing. Included some heavenly stretching, too. Did not want it to end. Will be visiting Nathalia again very soon!

The first time I booked my fiancé’s appointment it went great. He arrived early and had to wait 10-15 minutes after his appointment time and receive an amazing deep tissue massage for 1 hr. So no complaint even though he waited a few minutes.However, the second time I booked his appointment, he was arriving late when customer service called him and said his start time was 1:45 and when he arrives whatever minutes he missed would be deducted from his massage. He said he understood but do they have a 10- 15 minute window since thats how long he waited last time and did not complain. The receptionist responded “that’s our policy” and he responded “well that’s not a fair policy” and she proceeded to say “well that’s the policy and we’ll see you when you arrive” and hung up.When he arrived and was done with his massage (which wasn’t good compared to the last time), the receptionist told him the amount and he said there’s a card on file which he placed there before he even arrived to his FIRST appointment. The receptionist’s manager or supervisor was walking by and said “no she needs to see a physical card”. Now I already found it RUDE how the receptionist spoke to him on the phone but for hm to be singled out to have a physical card when there was ALREADY a card on file before his first appointment and they charged it? Also, this was a white establishment where he was the only Tall and Black man with an accent. I was already apprehensive about him going there but now it’s definitely confirmed.

This was my first massage at Eastside and it was absolutely wonderful! My therapist was so accommodating and catering. I felt the benefits of the healing massage immediately! They take extreme Covid-19 precautions, which I really appreciated! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. 10/10

After living on the Upper East Side for years, I cant believe I didnt know about this hidden gem for an awesome massage. I recently started going to Eastside Massage for medical massages after I was injured in a fall. Cynthia is a fantastic masseuse, and so knowledgable about my treatment. The staff has been wonderful, too. Theyre doing a great job on Covid precautions taking all the necessary steps to make everything sanitary and safe. I wish I had found it sooner. Cant wait to go back.

I recently had my first massage ever at Eastside Massage Therapy and it was amazing! I was a little nervous at first, but my massage therapist, Helcio, put me at ease immediately. He was exceedingly friendly and explained everything that the massage would entail. I was so impressed that I brought my mom in for a massage as a birthday present, and she had nothing but great things to say about her treatment. I have had two massages here already and both were amazing. The staff is very friendly and willing to work with my needs. Im a student so I get a lot of stress in my back and shoulders from sitting at the desk and from my book bag. After an hour I felt so relaxed and loose. It was great for removing the kinks. There are also discounts for students which is always great. I would recommend this to all my friends and family. I recently even bought a gift certificate as a gift for my parents.

Ive been a happy client of Eastside Massage for many years. I can always count on getting a fantastic, professional massage for a fair price. Julie is one of my favorite therapists - she gives a great massage and surprises me with little special touches, like an eye pillow and warm towels. And recently, I was able to have a massage by Robin Ehrlich. Within a few minutes of the massage, Robin correctly diagnosed an alignment problem and found and attacked a spot on my back that has been bothering me for years. In less than 5 minutes she figured out something that took multiple appointments with doctors and physical therapists to diagnose. She is amazingly talented and if you have the chance to work with her, I highly recommend it.

I loved my massage therapist Sepali. Fantastic massage. However, I will NEVER go back to this place because of a particularly rude front desk person. Horrendous experience. I have never been treated so poorly by someone who is supposed to be offering a service. I suspect she was just having an off day but to take it out on a disabled customer is very inappropriate.

She was very attentive & took her time to understand my needs & troubled areas. She always made sure that the pressure was just perfect as she worked each section. Also spent a a lot of time really working on my troubled areas. Some therapist lose steam or get tired towards the end but Alex was consistent & focused on the right spots with pinpoint accuracy from beginning to end. I cannot recommend Robyn and her team enough. She is extremely knowledgeable in fibrosis and tissue scaring. She does magic with her hands. With only 4 sessions my fibrosis were taken care off.

Before my low back was in pain and hips felt restricted but after seeing paco I can move properly again and feel amazing. I really appreciated it :)

I had a massage with Cynthia yesterday and she was excellent. She did exactly what I asked for with deep pressure. She is very professional and follows all COVID guidelines.

Very disappointed in this place!After a telephone call to authorize credit card payment for my daughters massage, in which I specifically instructed the rep NOT to add gratuity onto the card, the rep took the liberty of adding a $15 tip. Had no luck trying to resolve the matter with phone calls over the following months. They first failed to refund the amount after promising to send a check, then failed to return my calls. Too bad - my whole family had some decent (though inconsistent) massages here over the years, but will not go back again due to the UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD.

I am a former basketball player who still suffers from Tendinitis in my knees and a lot of sore muscles that came with playing basketball. First, I was very trilled to find out that Eastside Massage Therapy has many massage therapists who deals with athletes. This gave me a sense of relief that I would be dealing with a lot of professionals who can tailor a massage based on the feedback I gave. I worked with Inna the first time I came to Eastside Massage Therapy. My experience with her was amazing because from the second she started the massage till the end of the massage, I felt more relaxed and I started to feel those tight muscles I had was becoming more loose. To be honest, if Inna never had another appointment right after me I would have done two hours instead of one. Innas technique was so amazing and it was just what my body needed after all the years of physical pain that I faced while playing basketball. The type of massage that Inna used was a mixture between Trigger Point Massage, Deep tissue, and of course a relaxing Swedish massage. I honestly felt that I was on cloud nine and I did not want to leave this feeling.The next massage Therapist I had at Eastside Massage Therapy was Bair (Male therapist). Bair was a professional and I enjoyed his Sports/ Deep Tissue Massage that I received from him. I loved the fact that Bair was a former athlete who understands the pain that we athletes go through. I would recommend both Inna and Bair for anyone that wants to get a good massage. Also, be on the lookout for another Massage therapist named Steve who I was told that he was wonderful by several of friends. I LOVE EASTSIDE MASSAGE THERAPIST AND I WOULD RECCOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

ESM is always wonderful but they reopened today after the covid closure and it was quite clear how much work went into making it a totally safe environment, from upgrading the air system all the way down to the smallest details. Had a terrible trapezius pain and went to East Side Massage Therapy first thing in the morning. Staff there completely fixed the issue within 1 hour. No more trapezius pain. The massages here are medicine.
