Such wonderful staff. I believe their name is JR at the front desk- so nice! Laura is amazing and super knowledgeable about the body and our nervous system. Walked out a member and intend on remaining one.

This location is great. Ive had a few different masseuses here and especially Cileny, Stefanny, and Dolly are all very nice, professional, communicative, and fantastic at stretching and full body massages. The front desk are kind as well.The tranquility (waiting) room is also nice - very relaxing and they have water and fruit snacks. Would recommend!

Their membership is a complete scam. I ignorantly signed up and was charged. When I canceled I had a couple of credits and they assured me they wouldn’t expire. When I went to use them a couple of months later, they denied me a massage bc it was “expired”. They didn’t offer any type of flexibility at all. Instead they wanted to charge me $160 for the massage when I had $200 in credits. Horrible costumer service. Do not recommend.

NOT HELPFUL - BAD SERVICE - 0 STARSThis location in 42nd Street in midtown was Not helpful at all. Although I’m a Massage Envy MEMBER they were not able to accommodate me for a scheduling mistake in an appointment. They “charged” me (took away a credit for a service) for a month service because I made a mistake in the timing. I do understand that the therapist should be accommodated - but I should too as a member. There was no compromising- not that it matters to them but I won’t give them my money ever again and would recommend others to find another spa. Service means everything - you can find great massage therapist and facials anywhere so it’s the service that matters. I would give 0 stars if it was possible.I’ll stick to my Newport News, VA location where they saved the day!

Ive been a member with Massage Envy for couple of months and I really love coming back. The facilities are super clean, cleaner more than Spas. the staff on the front are super welcoming making standing time close to zero. But my best words should definitely go to the staff of masseurs which are professionals, clean and therapeutic.I really wanted my sister to join but she couldnt

In town for a week, feeling sore from travel and schlepping luggage. Fortunately they had an opening. Stacey was excellent! Great location, very nice facility and great front desk. I’ll be back on my next visit.

Was gifted a massage; Nice location, the staff really tries to push membership really hard all the while filling out an extensive questionnaire. I would have liked even harder pressure after my massager went harder. I think that was the most they could do. It’s a little less than an hour for intake Q’s.

Absolutely wonderful massage from Elisa!! She asked for preferences, feedback, comfortability. She was professional, kind, and an overall excellent massage therapist. The front desk staff were lovely, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend this location of massage envy!! 10/10!

Got a massage here. Was just okay. The owner seems to be very nice. The rest of the front the desk seems to be a little dumb.

Had a great massage, but a terrible customer service experience. We booked our massages on the phone and checked out with the agreed amount. the next day i received a call that they were going to charge us a fee that was never previously discussed. they did not speak with us or confirm this fee before charging the credit card on file. It took several days to get an answer on our issue and they finally agreed to refund one of the charges, but not the other because of one line buried in a long text. Was planning on coming back and even considering two memberships, but not anymore.

The NYC Midtown west staff is always incredibly accommodating, helpful, and able to answer questions. Their checkin process is proactive in ensuring your masseuse is ready to provide with a customized massage. Haven’t had a single provider disappoint yet—excellent team of firm, deep tissue, and sports focused massage.

Ive been coming here for a while for facials and I just had my best experience yet with Katie! She really knows her stuff and is passionate about what she does. I absolutely recommend this location and her especially!

Honestly don’t know how it could have been much better. Clean and comfy spaces, super friendly (and helpful!) desk staff (thanks y’all!), great massage with Bo and a thoroughly lovely facial with Katie!! Highly recommend.

It’s incredibly frustrating when an organization doesn’t apologize for a mistake or inconvenience they may have caused when scheduling time to use their service. I’ve been a member here for years now. I never had any major issue outside of minor scheduling mishaps that were quickly rectified. Today I was extremely disappointed with their lack of empathy addressing a issue with sessions I scheduled for a friend as a surprise. While it was a small issue the lack of care or ownership of the situation resulted in a poor experience. It may not be a “big deal” to you but showing compassion for your customers can go a long way.

I’m a member and so glad I joined as the massage therapy sessions have been fantastic as well as the facials, Carrie is Great! I recently had a couple’s massage therapy with my husband and it was Amazing. We were both super happy and satisfied with our massages. Dolly and Brittany were fantastic and spot on. Definitely looking forward to my next session. Friendly staff and very clean and relaxing environment!

Loved both locations that I have been to the staffs are super nice. My mom got her massage and they had me in a quiet tranquil waiting room until she was finished. She loved it

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff, had great service the 3 times I went there. Unfortunately, I booked 2 different massages and a facial, so 3 hours of service total. I arrived to the location and after receiving my first massage I was told that I only have a facial left. Not what I was expecting since I cleared my schedule to accommodate 3 hours of well-deserved pampering time. Regardless of that situation, I decided to go ahead and booked a facial and massage today, to find out that due to the customer service review I submitted in October that the owner decided that I needed to be banned from using this location. I spoked to the manager on-site and stated that due to a note left by the owner that Im no longer welcome to her location for future appointments. So its easier to banned a customer after the mistake was made by the staff when booking? So sad a great location, with great services is owned by personnel with lack of customer service and business ethics. All because of a survey that was sent to me by the location after services I scheduled were not provided. Surveys are meant to analyze the sustainments and improvements of a business not to banned customers from your location.

Lena is great! Super warm and welcoming, great communication, very capable - I left feeling way more relaxed than I went in! The space is very clean and quiet, overall a really easy first time at Massage Envy.

Nice place but the massage was not good.My therapist was very abrupt, and it made me feel like he’s doing everything very quickly to finish. Even though the massage itself was 50 minutes, it felt much less and at the end I was already wishing it would end.Also, it seemed like he was afraid to touch my lower back, and he massaged me only to my waist, which was a disappointment because most of my pains were lower back.I don’t know if it was only my therapist, but I won’t go again.

Watch out for memberships. They make it so easy to sign up. You can call them and they will do it for you.Not so much for cancelling membership. You have to call them to request a specific email then print out a PDF etc.This is the type of corporate business model that should no longer exist in the 21st century.No one should have to jump through hoops to stop paying for nothing.This is not the only review that addresses these concerns. Keep on scrolling.

Be VERY CAREFUL before you sign up for the membership. The policy around cancellation is NOT AT ALL FLEXIBLE. You can’t cancel by calling in or even by talking to the front desk. You have to submit the cancellation in writing and after that, they will still charge you for one more cycle. You have 2 months afterwards to use up your accrued sessions.I tried to call in and expressed my confusion and how I felt I was misled when I signed up. However, they didn’t show any willingness to work with me on my situation.This is one of those things (like a gym membership) that you can’t get out of easily so beware.

The place was clean, the employees were very nice, however the worst massage my girlfriend and I BOTH have ever received, so it was more than just one bad therapist as I thought maybe I was just unlucky. I have received many deep tissue massages, however this was by far the most painful massage I have ever received. Horrible techniques as well, not just excessive pressure. I waited until today (1 day later) to see if I was at least loosened up through all that pain, but woke up this morning and now all night have dealt with pains all over my neck and back from the massage. Like I said, nice people but you will literally hurt way worse after going here.

Had a deep tissue massage today from Jodi. Hands down one of the best massages Ive ever had. No exaggeration. Id recommend her to anyone. The facility is also very clean and the staff friendly, attentive, and helpful.

I’ve been a member of Massage Envy since 2015 . It’s a great place to quickly address body and facial needs. I just recently had a facial at the midtown west location with RasShahn. In the 60 min I was with her, Not only did she educate me on my skin and future regimen that is very much needed , but she had my face GLOWING. I totally recommend her as well as the Jan Marini products she used. Both Amazing!

I am so glad I have found this wonderful place as I recover from an injury. The team have been amazing and Nonami is a wonderful massage therapist.In addition, the staff recommended a stretch therapist to help me begin moving again and this was just the treatment I needed. I am so grateful to be working with Tamora who has so much experience and already I can see and feel the benefits.The whole team at the front desk lead by the Manager Rita is great and Monique/ Tony/ Alyssia and Stephanie have kept me informed of appointments/ suggested ideas.In addition, they informed me they accept my HSA or FSA - which is fantastic as you try and recuperate.Lovely clean / relaxing environment and now a part of my fitness plan.I am recommending to numerous friends .......

My first massage ever! Im no expert but Im positive that Felix did an amazing job! He was very courteous and friendly. I was at ease from the moment I went into his room. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgable. I will defitel be back!

Horrible, horrible customer service. I prepaid for a session and they didn’t let me use it!!! I have an email confirmation with validity till July 2nd. The guy started yelling over the phone and threatening with police- I swear I am not making it up... I wouldn’t leave my dog there. It’s better to go and get a massage by hungry wolves then deal with this. If they make the customers that stressed before the massage, imagine what happens inside on the bed

I would give 0 stars to this place, I have been a member for more than a year and when I cancelled my membership they didnt make it easy, I follow all the necessary steps and they said that they were processing my requested. That was back in JUNE, its September and they keep charging me the monthly membership. This is a waste of time and energy. I regret I enrolled for a membership in this place. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

This is the worst customer service I have ever received. WARNING: YOU WILL BE STUCK IN A CONTRACT THEY ARE CHARGING PEOPLE DURINGCOVID 19. People have lost their jobs and lives in this pandemic and they are taking their money against their will. EVEN IF YOU DO NOT FEEL SAFE USING THEIR SERVICE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AND DENY ANY REFUNDS. If you are in a contract get legal representation ASAP!

I tried this out because I had an offer of 10% off on a Chase credit card. It is a pretty pricey massage for the quality and time. A 60 minute massage is actually 50 minutes and the cost is twice what you’d pay for a massage at one of the many walk in massage places in NYC (where you’d typically get 60 mins actual hands on). The massage itself was okay, pretty tentative though. And for the abbreviated time a lot of it was spent messing around with the blanket, e.g. uncovering a leg, covering a leg, uncovering an arm, covering an arm. Felt like all in I over paid for a 60 minute massage that was in the end a 40 minute massage.

Love this place! Found a fantastic therapist first visit and have been going to her ever since for regular pre-natal massages. Their packages really make prices on an hour massage very reasonable.

Katie Weant is the best esthetician. I never had such a great facial. My skin is still glowing.

They are the only location who displays misleading information regarding their hours online. Arrived at 8am as posted on both google and their website, the receptionist informed me they don’t take appointments until 10am. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. Won’t be back.
