Yihan Spa has always been my top favorite spa in the town! Love the beautiful decors and soothing ambience, people that l interacted were super sweet and attentive. They would always check in with you to know about your requests beforehand, they do so to tailor the session for every customer. Amazing massage + customer services, would definitely come back!

Second time at Yihan Spa! I came in for a Swedish Massage and it was amazing that I had to come back. The masseuse was extremely gentle with me and walked me through the entire experience.The spa is clean and everyone is super friendly! This is my new favorite place to de-stress.

Very clean and relaxing spa. I booked a deep tissue massage and infra-red sauna via classpass. On the day of my visit I actually had to move my appointment a bit earlier, and the manager was eager to accommodate my request. My massage was great and relaxing; you are provided with robes, slippers and towels, you can take a shower afterwards. I also found a small outdoor area which must be nice to use in spring. Id recommend this place :)

I had a 60 minute European facial. My technician was very thorough and showed me all the gunk that was sucked out of my pores especially my T-zone. They have a water station and bathroom ahead of time before your treatment. I’ve been coming here for 2 years now every few months and the service has been pretty consistent.

Jenny was so incredible! I did a deep tissue with her. She gave me the best massage of my life, I came back the next day for another one! Great prices, friendly staff, amazing relaxing environment. So happy I found this place, it is truly a gem. If you want miracles on your body ask for Jenny!

First time here and I’ll definitely be back. The atmosphere and decor is lovely, clean and peaceful. Everyone was kind and attentive from Mickey greeting me and settling me in to my therapist Sophia. Her touch is firm and deliberate with great flow! My skin feels amazing and my vibe is sound and light. I highly recommend the 60 minute scrub.

The one time it was not, the staff was very accommodating to me, and I appreciate that - especially Eli! I definitely recommend the spa - in terms of cleanliness and quality of the massage. Vicky was very sweet and very helpful when I came to visit for a facial. She was very attentive and made sure we were relaxed and well taken care off.

$179 (excl. tip and tax) for a really lackluster massage. I called to reserve an experienced masseur and the front desk told me they put me with the best masseur. However, during my session, I realized that my masseur knows little of musculature. At times, she put me moan in pain, at times she just went through the process and missed all the muscles. Even the $70/1 hour in Chinatown is more consistent than this. Her technique is really lacking. Often, she will have the same strokes for 15+ times for just ONE side. For $139, they use the cheap synthetic massage cream, so I paid $40 extra for natural oil. In the end, I still tipped the recommended amount.Anecdote: In shower, I saw a roach🪳 crawling through the wall. Ofc, I know it’s NYC, so I didn’t deduct star for this. But it’s time for the owner to contact pest control.

This spa has everything you ever need to relax your mind and body. Recently I booked a facial and body session with Sophie. It was one of the best relaxing moment I have ever gotten in a very long time. Sophie is very well skilled. Not only she takes her time, she also is very good at focusing on details while providing the proper care. For those of you who is looking for the right person and place to relax your mind and body. Booked a Couples Romantic Rendezvous Package which consisted of a 90 min Deep Tissue Massage in a Couples Room and 40 minute Sauna exclusive for us during the first Saturday of the month.We were probably the first customers and we were welcomed warmly by the owner of the business and we were attended to right away and led to our room. I wish I could remember the name of my masseuse (and I typically always ask and remember! 😩) because she was that good! Well to be fair, my husband also said that he had a good massage. Our room was really relaxing, and at the right temperature too considering there was a heatwave that weekend. The music was also just at the right volume, contributing to the overall tranquility. I love that they both showed us the timer prior to starting and did set it for 90 mins. Considering we get a massage at least a month, this was one of the best that weve had. I usually dread the pain and bruising that usually comes along with it, and this surprisingly was minimal to almost none especially on the bruising part. For this alone, were definitely planning to come back.The sauna was really nice though pretty small, but gets the job done. Obviously this would be more enjoyable during fall or winter, so keep that in mind. We were also able to shower after the sauna. My only wish and suggestion to the business would be to have shower caps, mini deodorant/antiperspirants that customers can buy, and perhaps a better selection of tea after to really complete the overall experience.By the way, I actually treated a girlfriend to a massage and facial here for her birthday before my husband and I got to finally go and she had an amazing time.Highly recommend and well be back! =)

Most uncomfortable massage of my life!!!!! had to tell him he was hurting or tickling me at least 10 times!!! it felt like torture, i wanted to get up and leave but i pushed through and tipped still 20% when i shouldn’t have. he also used hand sanitizer before massaging my face.i also booked at the UES location but when it changed from Thai massage to Swedish massage it moved to Midtown which i wasn’t told. the man at the desk of the UES blamed it on me and while he tried to be polite was pretty condescending. the woman at the midtown location was extremely sweet and apologetic which was the only positive part of this experience.won’t be returning! total waste of money.

Absolutely loved my time here! Every penny was worth it. So relaxing! I came here with my partner and I loved it but he was not really a fan of his massage. I hade a male masseuse and he was very polite and would calmly announce when he would take the blanket off and would explain what he was doing while doing it and that made me feel very calm that he was being cautious and respectful. I would personally except the same treatment for my partner but he did not receive the same treatment (we can both confirm since we were in the room together) she did not say anything the entire time.

The facials are excellent! The ladies here always take extra time to massage your body and scalp while the face mask is working--there is never an idle moment when they are not working on you during the hour-long session. My skin always feels great afterwards!!

This place gave me my first professional massage. And it was a 20/10! I had Sammy and she was a very lovely lady. Techniques were nice, she asked questions to make sure I wasnt in pain and was very amazing. The place itself is also very beautiful and relaxing. The staff is in full PPE and both times I was there I witnessed staff continuously wiping down and sanitizing areas. I felt safe the entire time. Amazing 1 hour facial- I even fell asleep for a bit. There were so many great components to the facial and it was super relaxing. I also did a 1 hour massage which was much needed! I love the ambiance, the music, the professionals are calm and quiet which I love. No one talks too much, and they make sure you’re warm and comfortable!

The spa itself is gorgeous and provides a very relaxing environment. All three of us really enjoyed our deep tissue massages, but for two of us the facial was our favorite part! We will be back!

I am very pleased with the experience I had at Yihan spa. I went to the spa on the recommendation of a friend and I wasn’t disappointed. It is so eloquently designed with wooden furniture made from single pieces of wood and small birch trees that adorn the walls. There are also a lot of beautiful stones as well. The massage itself was incredible. It definitely helped me get out some knots in my back since I sit all day at work. I regularly get massages and this place was definitely the best!

What a great experience I had today at Yihan Spa! I came in for a massage and facial, and they were both excellent. I had one therapist for both and she was very skilled, especially with the facial! I also loved her demeanor, she was very kind and helpful and it was very easy to relax around her.On a different note, It has become quite cold in NYC so I glad that they serve complimentary traditional Chinese tea to warm you up! Not to mention the room was heated perfectly! The Spa is also beautifully designed and I will definitely be back.

Got the most lovely deep tissue massage here today! The staff is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. The interior is beautifully decorated with wood paneling and they have a little table in the waiting area with all kinds of treats. Its a fairly new place, clean, and overall very welcoming. Im going to have to come back next time to try their couples massage with my boyfriend :)

Came here as a recommendation from a friend, and booked a 80 minute swedish massage through ClassPass, and I was able to call a day ahead to request for a female therapist. There were no female therapists available at my originally scheduled appointment, and they were able to accommodate by rescheduling me. Lucy was my therapist and she was super attentive and made sure all the problem areas were addressed. The spa is super clean and the front desk lady was also very nice. Will be back!

I went yesterday for am hour deep tissue massage through ClassPass and it was one of the best massages Ive ever got. If youre someone who likes a hard massage then you will especially love this place. I feel amazing today, and I cant really say that for other places that Ive been too. Everyone in the place was kind and very professional. My massage therapist was very skilled, and what I liked the most is that she made me aware of everything, the time when we started, every time she cleaned her hands (when she was going to touch my face) and if the massage was too hard or soft. Overall I really liked the place, and even through classpass youre supposed to tip on the original cost of the massage ($140-$160 depending) which is not bad considering the quality of the massage. I would definitely be going back.

I was walking on second ave and ran into Yihan Spa. It looked great from the outside so I decided to check it out. I am so glad I it. The place is beautifully decorated and very clean. The manager suggested I get the detox and stress reduction package for $159 that includes a 50 minute massage and a 40 minute infrared sauna. WOW.... the aromatherapy massage was unbelievable!!!!.... Tony is the best!!. After my massage I went into the sauna. I have never used an infrared sauna before .... I was give a control to change the color of the lights in the sauna. Changing the color of the lights is suppose to promote health benefits, they said. The sauna experience was fantastic it was really hot and I perspirated profusely. After the sauna I felt I perspired at least 2 lbs :-)). I definitely recommend Yihan Spa, the staff is very professional, the service is fantastic and the Spa is very clean. Yihan Spa is my new favorite!!

First of all I was very stressed out because I was running late for my appointment! (I hate it when I do that) The second I walked into Yihan, I was immediately greeted by a host and shown to the waiting area. The atmosphere was calm and the space was clean and well-organized. I immediately felt at ease thanks to a very welcoming staff.My facial masseuse, Kelsey, was beyond exceptional. She was very communicative in explaining the steps of the facial and what she was applying. She was very thorough and did NOT “cut corners” even when the timer went off, she took her time and finished her task.I highly recommend Yihan Spa!Thank you for a very restful evening to start my week in the right foot!SJB

I will bring my friends again. The therapist was very enthusiastic about understanding my needs. I did a deep massage for 80 minutes. I like it very much. There is also a sauna room with cucumber water I like it here

5 star service, incredible massage. They have many services, had a lot of back and neck pain when I came in and left feeling like a million bucks. Highly recommend!

Geoff, the manager, from the get go was awful. He booked us at the wrong location and cancelled our appointment on his end when we got there. When we expressed confusion he said check your email I cancelled it 20 minutes before the appointment (also no one was in the spa). Really weird move. Then Geoff told us to go to the other location an hour and a half later. We get to the new location (not that it matters but it was pouring rain) - Geoff is there and tells us not to be loud — we had just walked in and not set a word yet. I am going to skip the massage part because it was not their fault but it was not good. Additionally they had said we would get tea, snacks and a private bathroom for showering. Not to surprise you- but that was a lie. After our massage - literally 5 minutes after- we were changing in our room and Geoff knocks on the door and said “girls you need to leave the next appointment is coming”. Very weird. Then upon us leaving he stops us at the door and said “tip more”. What? THEN (I know it should be over- this guy is nuts) he says that the massage was probably bad because we had a glass of champagne before (at the spa). To whoever the owner is — your spa would excel if you had a new team. The place has potential but Geoff needs to go.

This is the third time back to Yihan Spa! Ive done cupping, full body massage, and the infrared sauna. All treatments were done super professionally and the facilities are sparkling clean. The infrared sauna especially was super nice and perfect for 2.They do a great job with massages and cupping, the can adjust to your level of pressure, but for those who enjoy more pressure this is definitely the spot for you. Highly recommend!!

Yihan Spa is the best new spa in mid-town!!! The staff are very friendly and the spot is incredible, I love the way it is decorated. A friend kept telling meI must try this place and I am sooooo happy I did. They offer you cold cucumber water when you arrive and it is so refreshing. I had a Deep Tissue massage, this spa specializes in Deep Tissue, and it was a zin experience. My Massage Therapist Tony, must have magical hands because when he was finished I felt incredibly relaxed. I got a full body massage and it felt amazing. I cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend Yihan Spa!

I went with a Gilt for a 60min massage and a 60min facial. I arrived about 5min late and everyone was very accommodating. The masseuse was very communicative and asked if the pressure was to my liking many times. Also, I never have been in a massage where they show you a timer so that you know the massage is 60min, thought this feature was great!

Yihan SPA provides quiet and intimate environment. As soon as I walked in, I felt much relaxed. The masseur has good hands and sound skills. I had bad headache and sour necks and shoulders and came for a hot stone massage. It was super relaxing! Strongly recommend!

Max did a phenomenal, rejuvenating, massage! He did exactly what I asked and more. Heading into the sauna after a massage is sheer perfection!

I was gifted a Groupon for a one hour facial and one hour massage. If you want any appointments after 5:30 pm, youll have to book at least a week in advance.The facial was fine. She did a good job clearing out the blackhead around my nose. But it seemed like she neglected the actual nose. She cleaned some but there was still a lot left. The massage was just okay. When checking in for your appointment, they have you fill out a sheet and you can circle areas on a diagram that youd want them to focus on. I dont think they actually look at this sheet because she ignored all the problem areas I circled. The pressure was inconsistent. It would be either too hard or too soft. She also kept getting really close to certain private areas, so not exactly a relaxing massage.If Yihan Spa was more conveniently located for me, and there was a really good deal for a facial, I would be willing to give it another try. But I dont see that happening anytime soon.

Really peaceful spot and I hardly waited when I arrived. The music and ambience was great. The massage was relaxing, but definitely not that of a professional masseuse. None the less, I was able to book through ClassPass and got in same day. Would return!

I can honestly say that I have no complaints whatsoever with this establishment. This is a wonderful spa to relax and get the quality you are looking for and more. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. They guide you through your entire experience which is great because it shows that they are there to make you comfortable and that you enjoy the service. From the time you go through the door youll love it. The scenery and soothing music to the relaxing scent. You wont be disappointed.

Came here for a couples massage after doing tons of searching. The facility is very nice, clean and the staff is very friendly. Be sure to be quiet and whisper. Its a small place of relaxation. i talk loud naturally so i was shushed a few times. lol they gave a 40min sauna with it which was nice but 40 mins is just too long. Massages were great, loved the hot stone treatment. Its not the cheapest place, but didnt have buyers remorse by spending what we did on the massages.

I’ve been going here for months and great service everytime.

The spa was really beautiful and friendly. however, my massage therapist was quite clumsy and used extremely strong pressure. I usually like that, but had to ask 2 or 3 times for them to make it softer. Since it didnt change, I decided to suffer through it, as I have a somewhat high tolerance for pain and had never had a deep tissue massage and thought that maybe that was just what it was and the end I would feel relaxed. But instead I just felt sore, as I still do the day after. At the end I also felt pressured to give a very high gratuity, which they suggest based on the full price ($140), although I had booked this massage through class pass and would never have paid that much. Just for the gratuity, I could have had a full hours massage in Chinatown, which is actually much better than this one - in fact, I now feel like I need a massage since I am so sore from this massage. I would imagine they have better therapists based on the ratings, but this one clearly was not well trained, based on the lack of awareness of the pressure. I will definitely not go back and would not recommend this place.

Had a massage 10 days ago. The male masseuse I had did the massage really hard and strong and told me that was good. The next few days I had several pains and bruises on my body. Now it’s been 10 days and my back still hurts extremely even just getting up from my bed. (He said my back needed a massage the most and did it on my back the most). I’m not sure if it’s normal or if I need to go see a doctor. Regardless how I loved the vibe and decorations here, I would not remember and I’m totally concerned right now.

Great environment and very nice staff here, it is an absolutely wonderful place to be if you want to give yourself a treat and be relaxed! I had facial and massage, loved it so much. I will definitely come back again.

We went there during the spa week, the staff are very friendly. However, they put us on wait for about a hour without notifying, no phone call before our reservations,no word when we check in until we waited 30 mins and ask them why we are still here?? They told us that the couple before us hit in the traffic and came late. But you could totally give us a call that we don’t need to sit at reception for a hour and doing nothing.However, after complain to the owner, they apologized and offered us a gift card. We decided to it a second try. The massage was great, my husband had a very relaxed night. I am very grateful they take the customers’ review very seriously and I believe with this customer service and self-improvement will definitely lead their business success.

The spa itself was really beautiful inside. I arrived at 2:45pm on the dot. My service was suppose to start at 3pm. As soon as I checked in the front desk clerk advised me to fill out a form, that took me no longer than 1 minute to fill out. The message therapist immediately took me back to the treatment room. I was not offered water or tea or really anything upon my arrival. The message was really great, the therapist set a timer for 60 minutes and gave me a wonderful message. After the message I had a 60 minute facial. Directly after my message was over the esthetician came in wanting to start my facial. I asked if I could use the restroom, and again not offered anything to drink. During my facial there seemed to be a lot of stopping and starting back up, it wasnt very fluid. After she applied my mask she left the room. Ive had many 60 minute facials and usually they entail a neck , décolleté , and hand message. The only message she did was on my face and décolleté. It seemed very incomplete, almost as if she was trying to stall the time. When the treatment was over I asked the front desk if there was any tea and if I could sit outside and he said that outside was not set up yet. I also went on to tell him about how rushed I felt and he argued that I arrived on time and not 15 minutes early. The picture below is what I took upon arriving the spa with the time stamp of 2:45pm. so Im wondering why I was rushed and not offered anything to drink and getting an incomplete facial. Again the message was amazing! Both techs were very kind as well.

I got the massage few months before and I was very busy after that. My scars develop, they dont use good products. I dont recommend this place to anyone.
