This nail salon is disgusting! I was there today and after my pedicure, the lady proceeds to put a hot towel on my legs, the towel smelled so badly, I almost puked! The most disgusting smell of rotten eggs! The nail lady then proceeds to tell another employee, in Spanish, “this is the same issue we had from this morning”. So they knew about the disgusting towels and still used them.When I went to pay, the lady rings me up at $98.00 not including the tip. When I inquired as to why she goes “oh you had gel” right and your nail tech told me that it was $68 of I did the “lavender spa” treatment. However she then Quickly changed her tune, when o questioned the charge and says “oh it’s addition to the gel”. STAY AWAY!

I don’t get manicures often but when I do, Green Tea is such a nice place to be. It’s so relaxing inside with a nice lounge area and the best magazines!Here are a few of my favorite manicures. The green is gel by Rosa. The red half moon manicure was done for Lunar New Year by Aida. And the iridescent gold was done today by Mimi who gave me the perfect length and almond shape! Thank you gals for making me feel pretty 💖

Nice people but the work on my nails was really really awful. Not even at all. I asked to do a full set and was told that I just needed a fill in. Once I finished I realized half of my nails had spaces that needed to be taken off and refilled and the nail polish was bubbly and came off already. I was sent from one person to fill in and file my nails and another to do the polish. When I got to the second to do the polish I asked her to refile my nails because it was all uneven and she said no because she wasn’t the one to file it. All was just very bad. This picture is after one day of getting them done.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life! They try to over charge you to make up for their lack of business.They charge you extra $4 if you change the shape and will not tell you ahead. and charge you so many little things… like fixing a nail charge extra $10…. I end up paying $100 just regular gel manicure! Now I know why the business sucks and always empty! Stay away from this place . And also hurt my hand! Bleeding

Had a past gel job removed from my fingernails and a regular Mani done.The Bad:Most of the process was painful, the lady who did my nails was rough and unnecessarily jambed the metal scraper into my cuticles when removing the gel.Many of my fingers were filed on the cuticle unfortunately because she wasnt paying attention - very uncomfortable.My cuticle on my pinky finger was so excessively filed and is now red and irritated.After the painting I was told to stay for 10 minutes of drying under the fan, so I stayed for 15, but after I left my polish dented anyway.The nail techs nails were long and dirty and her nails were poking me half the time (shouldnt there be a standard of clean short nails when handling other peoples hands?)The Good:The paint job is better than I can do myself. The actual place was cleaner than Ive seen elsewhere.The staff seems friendly.The pricing was fair.Conclusion: Wont be going back.

My pedicure was done fine except paper towel. I have never had a spa use a paper towel. I didnt like that at all. Next manicure not done with water for whatever Covid excuse . It was ok but I demanded a towel not rough hard commercial grade paper towels. My polish looks weeks old I just had it done with Weekly polish which was supposed to last. Not for me. .I called back for a refund lets see how this goes. I live on MD and I was visiting

I am usually not one to leave negative reviews but I’ve been here twice and both my experience has been awful. I always get gel manicures and they always last, except when I get them here! The last time all of the polish came off in under 24 hours. When I went back to fix them, the woman who was about to take care of me said “you first need to get a manicure”- which I had done two days ago at their place (so just imagine how badly the manicure was shaped so much so that they thought I got gel polish without the manicure itself, she was shocked and started asking who did the last manicure) my nail shapes were horrible and no cuticles were fixed. and they refused to fix it for free. Not to mention this place is so much more expensive than what’s around and the staff isn’t very friendly. They only changed the color and once again it came off in under 3 days. I gave this place a chance because I live nearby, but definitely would rather walk 15 mins to Lexi nails on Lexington than go here.

The customer service was great. However my gel manicure was not. The gel polish began peeling and my nails began chipping two days later.I will not be going back.

This is a very nasty salon. They use all the equipment for every client. Please be careful, I won’t recommend anyone to go to that salon.

Place was clean and nice, staff was friendly, and I did not get her name, but my technician was awesome. Best quality Mani Pedi Ive ever had! She had mentioned shes been working there about 7 years though. Perfect addition to vacation!

I did my nails and after one days the polish came out. This place use terrible products for Been location in Manhattan they should be use good products not like this. The staff is good but the products nooo

Just had a mani/pedi with Ana and it was fantastic! The location is very clean and comfortable. They use clean instruments and one time use sandals and nail files. I didnt feel rushed at all and my nails look perfect! I will definitely come back based on this.Ask for Ana!

Out of convenience, Ive given this place 3 chances over the course of 5 years and the experience only got worse and worse. The last time I came here, I expressed that my nails were not completed as asked, with an attractive result. Instead of being understanding and offering a solution, the owners son became very aggressive. I really dont see how this place is still operating.

My company brought us here for our annual party and it was such a great experience. My nail artist was extremely sweet and gentle with my nails as I have sensitive cuticles. She took her time and even let me sneak in a few bites of my lunch during the gel curing time! Will definitely be back.

Got gel manicure today and already shipped. Never happened before. Going to a wedding so I’m not the happiest right now.

My first time stopping in here. Gel manicure looked great right after it was completed, however, nails started chipping in less than 24hrs. Now, 5 days later, all of my nails are chipped and my manicure looks awful. I will have to go get another this week, didnt even make it my usual 2 weeks. And for $50+ after tax (plus tip!), no thanks. I wont be back.

Ive been here a few times now and have received excellent service. However, what prompted me to come here and leave this review was my experience here yesterday.I was suddenly unwell during my manicure and instead of kicking me out, which I wouldnt blame them for doing during the pandemic era, they were so kind and took very good care of me. My nail technician gave me seltzer to help get me through the rest of the manicure and when we were done gave me tea and told me to sit in the front while I gathered my bearings. I was not rushed or talked down to at all and while I felt terrible for putting them out, felt like they genuinely cared.I havent used that many of their services, but I have been here for a few gel manicures which were all wonderfully done, and have come several times for a back massage to decompress from a stressful week. I have never had a complaint and always feel welcome and well taken care of. Would highly recommend!

It has just been a week and the nails are already coming off. Cheap quality products and expensive. The lady dropped one of the nails during the service and she just picked the same nail from the floor and apply instead of using the new one. Very unhygienic!

I had a fantastic experience at the nail salon. The staff was professional and friendly, and Rosa did an excellent job on my nails. The salon is clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. I will definitely recommend them.

Chun is FANTASTIC! She took care of both manicure and pedicure. The staff is great and I received a warm friendly greeting. I was able to take my time selecting services and nail color. I highly recommend Green Tea Spa!!

Having visited a couple different salons in NY, I have not looked elsewhere since finding Green Tea. The front desk staff and technicians are always friendly and professional. I get a regular manicure with the Essie Gel polish ($23 total before tip) and people constantly think its gel because it looks great and lasts a good 2-3 weeks. The salon has a very pleasant atmosphere and is spacious so youre not right beside other customers (if that bothers you). Also - great music :)

I have been coming here every week for a few months and use Ling for my manicures and pedicures - she is excellent. Great job painting and shaping nails, as well as cleaning up cuticles (and I am very particular). My regular manicures last the full week without chipping. They have a huge selection of colors and the staff is friendly and helpful. I have use other manicurists when ling is not available and they have all been super as well.

Stopped in 2 weeks ago for a gel manicure, ended up getting a UV overlay. My nails were very weak because if my biweekly gel manicure habit (Its an obsession!!! I cant help it) and they have not chipped or given me trouble. They seem really strong now so hoping itll keep them this way until my new nails grow from underneath. (Fingers crossed!) Will be back.

I’ve been coming to Green Tea for over 10 years now! I always come for gel and a pedicure - very clean, calm atmosphere, and skilled employees. Very kind and accommodating. Cristina is consistently amazing 🦋 they also have great options for a facial in the upstairs area for treatments! And, location is really convenient to pop in around work hours.

Had an expensive Russian manicure done somewhere which I found out was the exact same thing as a regular manicure but just removing cuticles with the machine! Came back to my old place here again and got the Russian gel taken off and my regular go-to gel mani and pedi ! Happy nails, happy me. Oh and Johns massage... amazing!!

Nice people but horribly overpriced. I got tips and gel overlay. They started chipping the next week. I will not be returning.

This place is absolutely horrible. First of all extremely rude and my pedicure was done poorly. If I can give zero stars I would. You pay $35 for them to lightly scrub your feet and polish this is terrible. I can see why they only have three stars. I’ve never received a pedicure this bad. Then the man in the front had the nerve to tell me I’m not welcome there anymore because I did not want to tip! Why would I tip for a horrible job. Your lucky I paid and that was out of respect. Save your money and your time they will not give you a pedicure of standard. Trust and believe he did not need to tell me I was not welcome because I never intended on returning anyway.

Not the best spot to do SNS / Powder dip nails cause they lack color, they don’t shape nails properly and when they cut nails they tend to go very close to the skin - even when you tell them dont. Ive had such strong nails and now they are weak and brittle. Will it go back again but not for nail service but massage is on point and relaxing. Please note they are very pricey.

This by far was the worst experience ever they need to all be refreshed on providing nail services they used a foot file they used on other people on me, the pedicure was horrible and the French was the absolute worse and didn’t match and I also got a manicure they failed to cure my gel polish all the way so it looks horrible what a waste of 200 dollars a complete rip off please do not come to this salon warning !!!! Having a nail salon is not for everyone clearly

My friend and I came by after work and decided to treat ourselves. They let us eat our salads while getting our toesies pampered! Got dip powder nails for the first time and we were looking gooooood..

I came here during my lunch hour for a manicure and I was so pleased with the results. The service was fast yet relaxing and the tech took great care and was very gentle. Best of all the price was great. I will definitely come back here again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a salon. I went it to get a gel manicure, regular pedicure. Pretty normal.The pedicure was HARDLY spa as it was done quickly within 20 minutes and despite the quick dry top coat it still smudged on my trek over to the other side of the salon for the manicure. I chose a light pink for my fingernails and after over an hour the girl was finally done and you could see my nails through the color. The entire time I was in the salon I could hear Macys fire alarm blaring, which gave me a pounding headache. The icing on the cake was when they told me that the total was $74.50! I have NEVER paid more that $54.00 for a gel manicure, regular pedicure ANYWHERE. I will not be going back and I suggest you take you business elsewhere too.

I have been coming to this salon for many years off and on as i work up the block from the location. I have seen management change and must say the woman they currently have at the front desk is disgustingly rude. If i stop coming to this salon it would be due to the front desk staff not the people who are doing the work. I actually think the very pretty Asian lady does a great job...she is a bit thicker than the other girls. Her work is and attitude is great. The dark skinned lady that does tips is rude as well and gives a similar fake cordial vibe as the lady at the front desk. it is these types of attitudes and experiences that will stop me from going. Today i actually considered never coming back due to my experience with the front desk staff. The gentleman (manager) is very professional.

Ive been there two times because they I was desperate. And the truth is, I would be better off doing it myself! They are overpriced. They do not care about the quality of the work they do. And they dont care if you are unhappy, because there is always someone else behind you. They RUSH through the pedicure and its supposed to be a spa pedicure. Relaxing. Inviting. Nope. Not at all. It wasnt worth $20, let alone $60!! She didnt file my nails properly. Left them jagged and crooked. The massage hurt. Never. Never. Never again!!

Lady was great who did my feet, however manager did not wear mask and was coughing and sneezing. They also did not require customers to keep on mask. Be aware. At this point I was very uncomfortable and didn’t get to finish my nails. I am on my to a place that follows guidelines. 😷

I work in the neighborhood and needed a mani pedi before a trip. Stopped in today and was so disappointed. The woman at the front desk is rude and very short with customers. The mani and pedi was so sloppy that I had to ask two tunes for the polish on my skin to be removed. I personally could have done a better job. Additionally. They charge $15 more than all locations around them and overcharge for all the little details. If you’re going to overcharge, the service, product and experience better meet the price.

I’ve been to this place before as it is in the same building of my office, and my experience was fine. However tonight I walked in at 6:15 for a gel mani and they told me they couldn’t take me because they close at 7 and it’s “way too late”. Horrible business approach and will never be back because of it. Also, a gel mani shouldn’t take more than 45 mins, so was a completely ridiculous excuse and beyond unprofessional.

It wasnt even a 15 minute pedicure. They were quick. Not worth your time. They dont spend anytime on you. If you want someone to just paint your nails for 30 dollars then come here. Its not worth it. Find somewhere else.

Rosa did an excellent job- she was very thorough and really nice. A little pricey, but so as long as it lasts, it was worth the price in my opinion— and I’ll be back.

Horrible service overprices. I had the gel nails for only 5 days the nails chipped. The lady that serviced my nails asked for a tip as if she was entitled to it.I always tip but I felt it was rude to ask If I could give this salon a 0 I would!

This is a very large and pretty nail shop located next to Mays Baekha branch near Koreatown in the center of Manhattan.My four friends went for the sea salt SPA pedicure based on their recommendation.To the guestsYou said it was a popular product.I really like it tooA mud pack containing real honey scrub and milk.I have a lot of calluses on the soles of my feet, but they did a great job.The massage there was really good.Ill go again next time
