My stylist was Anna and she was amazing. She did such a great job on my design and the front desk staff was so helpful in picking out my color. I love coming here

I was able to walk in today to get a colored French gel manicure by Yvonne! Very fast and professional, and very happy with how my summer nails turned out :)

Horrible service here. The receptionist has been rude on several occasion and today was the last straw with her accusing me of lying to her about an appointment even though I am a repeat customer. Salon on 86th street near Columbus is MUCH better. Highly recommend the 2 minute walk.This is 2 days after a $30 manicure

Newest edit: multiple chips after 4-5 days of getting a dip manicure (blue photos). Was out of town but emailed as soon as it happened, and only offered 30% off next service because I couldn’t come in within one week. Disappointing when you pay $60-70 for dip.In March they convinced me to do my first dip manicure (peach) but after these last two experiences I don’t think I’ll do dip again. They said it was really strong but it chipped one week later twice (last photo) while washing my hands. I never even had gel break off like that before. It also chipped on the other hand on the bottom side of the nail close to the cuticle. Also my nail tech, although I liked her, didn’t soak my hands or cut any cuticles so I found the experience a bit more rushed than the first.Still deciding what I think—the people are very nice here, but I’ve been told by others that dip manicures shouldn’t chip at all, especially not after one week.

I love this QQ Nail located near my apt on the UWS. It’s my go to for mani and pedicures. The space is always clean, peaceful and inviting. The staff so warm, helpful and welcoming. I can say I probably had my nails done by almost everyone there and they are all wonderful and talented artists. Over time Kelly has become my main squeeze.She always greets me with a warm smile. No matter how my day was walking in I leave there feeling calm and relaxed with beautiful nails.

I do not recommend coming here at all! I’ve seen many locations of QQ and thought I’d check it out. I came in for a regular pedicure & a gel manicure. When I was seated for the pedicure, the nail tech was very pushy about selecting an option from a menu she handed me. The price for the cheapest one there was double ($68) what I was quoted for at reception a few minutes before. When I said “No just the regular one please”, the nail tech laughed and said “No, pick one”. I insisted on just a regular pedi three times before she took the menu away. From this moment on, the whole vibe of the service changed. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. My pedicure was rushed, and when it came to my gel manicure it was even more rushed. I felt like I was an inconvenience to my nail tech. My nails weren’t even soaked in water and there was absolutely no prep done on my cuticles. The nail tech was applying the polish coats so fast that the gel light wouldn’t even complete the 60 second cure before she asked me to switch hands. It completely ruined my day and I will surely not be returning to any QQ nail locations.

Very poor service. Skin on toes was nicked and bleeding. Polish applied poorly with only a fan to dry toes as they have only two UV stations and I was never offered one. I walked out with bloody toes and smeared polish. I came back and they made a disgruntled effort to fix it. No apologies offered. Nice facility but poor skills and indifferent attitude. I don’t recommend

Got my first ever gel manicure today and it was an amazing experience thanks to Patrick. He was kind and patient as I decided between colors, designs, and nail length. I love how my nails turned out! Highly recommend this nail studio!

Amazing service! I requested an intricate nail design and Yvonne went above and beyond personalizing the colors and making sure I loved the way it came out. She was so patient and helpful, the design came out perfectly!

I got SNS nails and a pedicure here, and Ive never been so disappointed. I repeatedly expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction with my manicure but was prompted with itll get better after you shower. The nails are lumpy, uneven, and all over my cuticles. Its marginally better than the time my dad tried to do at-home dip for me. Disappointing that I spent $100+

My go-to for gel manis! They always do a beautiful job and the manicures are long-lasting. I especially recommend Kelly

HORRIBLE, horrible service. The receptionist/manager (Fei Xiuqin is her name) at this establishment was extremely unprofessional and rude. I walked in and asked how long the wait would be for a manicure, as the place looked busy. She told me “no wait”, and indeed there was a manicurist standing by who had just finished another job, and the manager gestured that I would be taken care of by that manicurist. I was told to pick a color and I could have a manicure right away. I picked a couple of colors and when I turned around less than 60 seconds later, the receptionist had assigned the manicurist to someone else and was starting a pedicure. When I said to the manager I thought you said there was no wait and I was to go with that manicurist, she replied “oh someone came in with an appointment, you have no appointment”. I said, but you told me there was no wait and I was here before that person. Then she replied, impatiently, that she - the receptionist - would do my manicure. So I sat down where she indicated, but she then went around doing other things, and I was waiting so I tested a couple of the colors on my nails as I waited. When she finally came back several minutes later, I wanted to try another color before we started. As I started to apply a dab of that color to my nail, she said that I could not test colors on my nails because my nails are “dirty” and that I would “ruin the brush”. I assured her that my nails were clean and that I had just washed my hands and there was not other polish on my nails. She replied “no, your nails dirty. You cannot try colors now.” I said that I had already tested two colors and just wanted to compare this third color. She started to yell, “no, your nails dirty, you will ruin the brush”. I repeated that my nails were clean but she would not let me test the color and continued yelling that my nails are dirty. I said that if I cannot see what the color looks like on my nails then I would not feel comfortable getting a manicure. She replied “fine” and again said I cannot test colors because “your nails dirty”. Frustrated, I got up to leave, and she made no effort to try to accommodate me so I left.There are much more professional establishments in the area and I would never return to this one. Jade Nails is only a couple of blocks away on Broadway. The other QQ nail spas I have been to have also been professional, but not this one.6/3/2024: Interesting that in the owner’s response you are defending rude, inappropriate and unprofessional behavior — yet not providing any accommodation to make up for the unprofessional behavior. The receptionist was beyond “blunt”, she was rude and unprofessional. In addition, regardless of whether someone has an appointment, once I arrived and was assigned to a technician, I was at that point “booked” for my appointment and that should have been respected. Finally, I have been getting manicures for years, and always try colors before deciding on one. I have never in any of the hundreds of appointments I have had been told that I have dirty nails and may not try a color. That is totally disrespectful, unprofessional and horrible customer service.

Super nice people, super nice shape, super weak nail glue, SUPER inflated price. ii paid $95 + tip for gel nails w extension and lost 9 of 10 nails in the first week… 3 in 36 hours.thankfully they didn’t break i half - they fell off like press on’s - so i could glue them back on myselfunfortunately won’t be going back despite the sweetest staff

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place! I never write negative reviews but I felt compelled to do so with this nail salon in order to help another customer and deter them from spending their hard earned money here. I paid close to $200 with tip for a pedicure and a gel x manicure and 4 days later two of my nails fell off! After that, a nail would fall off every other day. Less than 2 weeks later all of the nails are completely gone. Press-on nails have lasted longer for me than this nearly $200 service. Maybe my nail technician was new? But she clearly did not apply the gel x nails correctly! I called the salon an explained the situation. They said that a manager would call me back and I am still waiting. I will update my review once I have heard from them but please be wary of this location! It seems that not all of the technicians are experienced.

I got a gel manicure last Wednesday and by the next day they were already chipping/peeling off.I called to ask them if I could come in to get it fixed and they hung up on me.I never had a manicure last less than 48 hours. Terrible.

The women who work here are all lovely, make the experience great, and give a great manicure and pedicure. Grace did a wonderful job!

Today was my first time going here, it took me about 2 months to find a good nail salon. My nail tech stopped working and I had trouble finding a good clean place. This QQNails and Spa location had great reviews compared to others so I decided to take my daughter with me. We both got treated with respect and kindness! Ana, was super kind and respectful. I usually do long nails but this time I decide to try powder manicure and I love it! And my daughter loved her manicure 💅💕 we will definitely be back 😇 thanks for the great environment and by the way the salon smelled clean and was clean.

Normally I love this place but recently they’ve been so busy when I go in that they cut corners! For my gel removal they soaked it for maybe 2 minute and went straight to buzzing it off! Which left my nails incredibly thin and in pain for the rest of the day. And the harsh removal made my nails so thin that they cracked the next day despite paying $10 for a harder regular polish. Unfortunately I won’t be going back.

I love this location of QQ! They are always so kind, welcoming, and efficient. The salon is clean. Yvonne is my favorite technician but I’ve had great service with other techs as well. My nails last longer than ever.

I havent grown my nails out in quite sometime. Susana has done my nails & feet twice & the last time the polish hasnt cracked in over a week. The staff are a very nice group of people. This is now my go to nail salon.

Ava and Kery are so amazing! Right from the beginning Ava made me feel so welcomed and comfortable, and Kery took so much time to make sure my nails were perfect, they even stayed after closing and didn’t rush me even though I was the last person in the salon. Also included a shoulder massage. 100% will be back again and super grateful to have found them :) thank you both!! There’s a reason QQ nails has the highest rating in the area. Definitely give them a shot

The customer service is the top! I had to repair one broken nail and not being regular customer, and Ada took care of me. Quality work, reasonable prices, respectful attitude toward customers - i highly recommend this place!!!

Another great experience at QQ Nails! I walked in around 3pm on a Saturday without an appointment and was able to get a manicure with no wait.My nails came out gorgeously and she was able to do the exact design I showed her with no problem (honestly I like my nails even better than the Pinterest photo💁‍♀️).Clean, welcoming, high quality, and affordable place to get a manicure.

QQ Nail _ The experience was great and the people were very nice! I did gel manicure peals pink and metallic purple. My nails look great for Christmas. :)The facility was absolutely stunning. First, clean up my cuticles gently and then finished manicure. Last service was hand massage. I felt like so fast and actually I did little nap. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I have been here twice and each time with Patrick- he is beyond amazing! Each time I went I had a funky design I wanted done and he was able to execute so well and precisely. Additionally, all the staff is so nice and really want you to be comfortable. I will certainly be going back!

I’m giving it 2 stars bc Anna was very pleasant and took over after I requested a new nail tech. Yvonne was my original nail tech, she was rude and condescending. She was pushy about upgrading my pedicure and when I said no, she rushed through my pedicure, literally a five min pedicure- I could’ve done that myself. I confronted her about her attitude instead of apologizing she got up and went on to speak to her co workers in their native language. Rude customer service, they wash your feet and call it a pedicure and charge you $62 for the “special”. Won’t ever go back - don’t waste your time. Go to Washington Heights and get a real pedicure for the same price.

First time getting manicure and pedicure. Got nails painted for fun. My nail tech was kind and great in terms of service.I think where I had to take off points is that the paint wasn’t done very well (see picture) and my wife’s nail tech was quite rude. We were polite but seemed like the nail tech annoyed with us from beginning to end. Made the experience much less relaxing and overall uncomfortable.

Ive never seen anything like this in my life. The cashier tried to force a tip. The type is not mandatory, if you want you can choose it when paying by credit card. When she saw me I skipped, she did not accept it. She tried to insert the card again and when I did not accept it, she asked for cash. When I said, I don’t have cash, she wanted my card back?¿? This was the rudest customer service, I’ve ever seen. I won’t come back

Had Had a wonderful nail person her name is judy and she did a fabulous job @ 86th Street location.

I requested French tips. My experience involved multiple nail technicians, starting with one lady, then another lady stepping in due to the first one lacking confidence. After some filing, the second lady wasnt comfortable doing French tips, so a third lady took over and did a beautiful job. Unfortunately, the second lady cut my skin during the process. When it came time to pay, the receptionist informed me that I was being charged $60 for Gel French tips, without any extensions, just filing and applying gel French tips. I decided to tip less than 10% because of the injury caused by the second lady. The receptionist asked me are you sure you want to tip them this less. I was overcharged and they were trying to get more tip.

Theyre new opening at this community. It was my first time coming here and had an amazing experience. It is a nice and clean environment. Shop staff and manager are friendly and professional. Sharing my nails~ love it! Will be back again!

Do not recommend. Got SNS dip here, cost $47 plus a tip (this was with a first time discount). I have been getting powder manicures for years and never once have I had a manicure chip.The nails started cracking within days, then my right thumb chipped and half the polish came off. I went back to the store and they fixed it for free (excluding a tip and the cost of getting to the salon) but I expressed worries about the other nails cracking.My right middle finger then chipped four days later. I could go back again and get it fixed again but the travel cost, tips and not to mention waste of time isn’t worth it. I don’t know if it was a bad batch of powder or bad application but I won’t be going back.Over $50 and they didn’t even last a full week, super disappointed.

This is the *only* nail salon that I go to in NYC and I always get my nails done by Judy every single time. She’s amazing and takes her time doing my nails! She has such a calming energy too. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Do not go here if you want your nail polish to chip within a week. Usually my gel lasts up to 2-3 weeks. It chipped with 4 days. I got a normal pedicure and it chipped already (normal nail polish). Usually my pedicures last up to 1-1.5 months. They didn’t even do a good job cleaning my nails. I gave it 2 stars because it was clean and they were sweet but if I am going to pay that much, my nails better not chip. Really disappointed.In total, gel manicure and pedicure was 72 not including tip and that was with a discount of being a first time customer.

I am ecstatic to have QQ a block from me. They are absolutely fantastic in every way. They do an incredible job, my manicures last up to three weeks. On top of that they are all SO sweet and accommodating. I got a chrome powder finish and for some reason it peeled a bit, they re did my manicure TWICE for free just to get it right, on top of that they bought brand new chrome powder because they knew I love it so much. So thoughtful. Yvonne is the best, and incredibly talented. Hands down best nail salon on the UWS. ❤️

I love coming here! I live in the neighborhood, so it’s very convenient & they always do a superb job! Kelly is my favorite, so sweet & so professional. It’s always a treat when I get to come & see her.

Pretty expensive for a nail salon. I got a pedi and gel manicure for $71 I think. I paid cash but there was no discount as most places have. My manicure is awful. The gel is so uneven and clumpy at the base of the nail. Normally a gel manicure lasts me awhile, but this is so ugly that after a week I cant stand it anymore. Feels like a total waste of money. Maybe it was just the color or the technician, but other places are much better especially for the cost.

I scheduled a pedicure here in hopes of finding a new go-to place close to my home. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and the salon was very clean. They even had candy for when you dry your nails.My two complaints are that my nail tech rushed the pedicure service, and that because it was rushed, the regular callus removal was minimal. Ive been to many pedicures and they usually last about 30 mins. This pedicure must have been at most 20 mins, and thats including a 5 mins massage, which I assume is typically. My toe nails were painted but upon looking at them a day later, the color did not start close to my cuticle, but further down the nail. It looks like Ive had a two week old pedicure with the way the nail polish was applied.I feel that the attention given during a pedicure should be better and more thoughtful. Im not sure if Ill be returning for a pedicure to try a different tech.

Honestly really disappointed with my experience. I really wanted to like this nail salon as it’s new to the area but my nail tech seemed to instantly dislike me, would roll her eyes when I would speak to her, nails filed to uneven lengths, and my finger was cut by her in the process. Also, the pedicure was done with the most minimal effort possible, like the massage and the callous scraping part were done so so poorly/zero force. I unfortunately just don’t think it is worth the money. Really disappointed.

I got my nails done here the day before leaving for vacation in Italy (where I knew my boyfriend was planning to propose). I received a French gel manicure. Unfortunately, two of my nails chipped the very first day I arrived (so, 2 days after I got them done). Now, all my engagement pictures have the chipped nails in them :( Its a shame, the salon is beautiful

Charged me an extra $10 for choosing a quick dry nail polish. But no mention that I chose a special polish when I selected it. Only sprung the extra charge at the end… bad service barely a massage and didn’t put any strength into scrubbing feet. Wouldn’t recommend.
