I have been a devoted follower of Kathy and John’s holistic and grounded approach to health and healing for many years. Their lovely small spa on 16th street is an oasis in a busy city. I regularly go for both facials and massage. Every professional at Ohm has years of experience and is trained by Kathy, herself a gifted physical therapist and healer. Recently I had a magnificent facial with Amy and my husband looked like a new man after a massage. Skip the hype of fancy big name spas and find the real deal at Ohm!

Absolutely incredible. A 60 minute facial (felt like 15 minutes), followed by a 90 minute massage (felt like 30 minutes). Amy for the facial and Bri for the massage (deep). Thorough. Professional. I have never been more relaxed in my life. My hands, feet, and back feel amazing. If you are in New York, or visiting New York and want to treat your mind and body, I highly recommend Ohm Spa.

My husband and I have been to many spas, but nothing beats Ohm Spa! The therapists at Ohm Spa are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. They don’t just pat you down—they expertly target and relieve pressure points, providing a deeply effective and relaxing experience. We always leave the spa with less tension in our muscles and more relaxed than ever. Kathy and her team are always so kind and welcoming. Ohm Spa is our go-to, and we highly recommend it!

I have been to Ohm Spa at least half a dozen times now, and it always has been a great experience! Every masseuse has been terrific and listens well if you have any specific areas that need extra focus. Place is very clean and staff super friendly! Definitely my go to place and would highly recommend

Ohm Spa is the most relaxing experience you can find in Manhattan! The service is impeccable and the quality is outstanding. My skin is glowing for weeks after the facial and my body stays feeling so relaxed after the massage. Amy was who did the facial and she was absolutely amazing - she fine tuned the care for my skin type and gave me some great feedback and advice on my skin care routine (like not needing as many products as I thought). Going to Ohm Spa is always something to look forward to!

Every time I visit my sister in NYC I have to go to Ohm spa as the massage is exceptional.Last week I had a great deep tissue massage from Ana & a facial treatment from Amy. These 2 ladies made my skin feel so good, so can’t wait to take a photo to show my happy face !The reception is smaller than before but the treatment room is spacious & cozy, that’s what I need.Thankyou for the big welcome! I’ve been going to Ohm Spa once a month for a custom massage to help with various aches and pains. Ana is the best! She is thoughtful and intuitive, and I feel so much better after our sessions. Also just love how the whole staff is so nice and down to earth.

I planned a last minute massage to treat myself on my birthday! I’d never been to Ohm, but a quick Google search pulled it up as the top choice for best massage in NYC so I decided to give it a shot. I requested an appointment the night before and left a message saying it was my birthday. As soon as I woke up the next morning, the spa owner had texted me with their availability for the day and wishing me a happy birthday! How special the team made me feel was the highlight of every interaction. From the booking process, to the massage itself, when I was checking out and they gave me chocolates for my birthday!!! I felt so loved from start to finish and so grateful to have chosen the right place to celebrate myself.As a family run business, you can feel the attention to detail and love in everything Ohm does and that’s why they’re ranked as the best in NYC! Not to mention Jojos massage was absolutely to die for!!!

I scheduled for a hour messages. The place is comfortable and clean. The owner is extremely nice and polite, the masseuse is very professional as well. It’s overall a very pleasant experience.

The return to the spa was anticipated with excitement, given a positive initial experience. Despite pleasant staff and a relaxing environment, the massage fell short due to the therapists apparent lack of anatomical knowledge. The requested areas were neglected, and the promised customization didnt align with the actual experience. I expected a more experienced therapist at their high price point. Despite my admiration for the owner and the spa, I am regrettably dissatisfied with my recent experience.

Omg, what a gem in the Gramcery area. This was my second time here and after a 90-minute massage with Wasu, I feel like a whole new person. Everyone is so friendly. If I could afford it, I’d come weekly!

Excellent spa and Brie is greatI’m athletic and have been feeling tightness and muscle soreness, so I used the gift certificate I got, wanting more than a relaxing massage. The spa itself has a calming ambiance, and when you get there they have you fill out questions that will help the masseuse tailor your massage the way you want. I identified the areas giving me trouble, and Brie gave me easily the best massage I’ve ever had. I walked out feeling no soreness at all. She is gifted when it comes to understanding musculature and release points

Such a relaxing experience. Both the massage and facial were fabulous. They were sensitive to my lotion/oil aversion and were super professional. The ambiance is fascinating located in a historic building. Customer service was top notch with clear and prompt communication from the time I inquired to the time I left. Fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Yesterday’s massage with Ana was possibly the best massage I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been coming to ohm spa for years and really trust the service. Knowing that I don’t even have to say all the many tight spots and the therapists just find them so well is in and of instead relaxing. Highly recommend.

This spa experience went above and beyond for my birthday! I booked the 90 min massage and 60 minute facial. It exceeded my expectations. Everyone who worked there was hospitable, warm, and friendly. They took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed them during my time there. I left so refreshed, cared for, and calm. They even gave me chocolates at the end of my treatments. I will definitely be back with my partner or parents as a treat. Highly suggest for you to try this place for any occasion!

Had a fabulous experience here for a Birthday treat last week. One hour massage in this beautiful calm environment filled with great female energy was deeply restorative. Its in a beautiful building near Stuyvesant Park, truly a hidden gem. Highly Recommend!

Wow! I had an amazing facial experience here! My skin was dry, dull and congested and within the next 48 hours, looks so clear! The lymphatic draining was so nice as were the massage elements. Thanks Amy and team!

I injured my lower back (spasm) and was in terrible pain/could hardly move. I had never been to Ohm Spa before, and booked a same-day appointment with Angela for help. She was incredibly thoughtful and insightful with various recommendations for help during and post-massage. As soon as the next day I felt 90% better, and continued improving from there. I would highly recommend Ohm Spa and Angela specifically.

Ive come to Ohm Spa twice for 90-minute CBD massages during the pandemic and honestly cannot say enough positive things about my experiences here. The staff is lovely and welcoming and my massages were excellent. Id also like to mention what a cool space this is; the spa is located in a converted abbey adorned with traditional-looking stained glass juxtaposed with modern interpretations of religious-inspired graffiti. All around great experience and I will definitely be returning.

I’ve been coming to Kathy and her team for months. I started seeing Kathy for physical therapy for my knees. At the time, I could barely walk. She gave me stretches and exercises I could do at home. After a month of seeing her, I was able to walk down stairs (something I had avoided for months because of the pain). Kathy doesn’t make your dependent on her, she gives you the power to help yourself. She’s priced fair for the deep body work she does. The massages are intense but she’s an expert on what the body needs and working with your pain tolerances. She has a wholistic approach about why we are the way we are (from childhood) and how it transfers to today, our triggers, our tensions. Her soul is on another level. Her staff is also amazing. I recently received a Thai massage last week and she stretched me like a pretzel, which is what my body needed. Highly recommend. I see great things for Kathy, her team, and the company.

I have been going to Ohm Spa monthly for 90 minute deep-tissue massages with Wasu since last fall and it has been life-changing! I have chronic lower back and hip pain due to arthritis and it can be debilitating. Wasus mix of deep-tissue and deep stretching has kept me pain-free for months. Added benefit is the rest of the staff is also awesome - friendly and organized. The spa is clean and cozy and located in a super-cool building that I think used to be an Abbey. 5 emphatic stars!!

I came to Kathy (the owner) because I was in so much pain that it didn’t even seem possible. The pain felt like a literal nightmare. She shared her own experiences with me and soon I knew she fully understood exactly what I was going through.When she met me as a patient she and did a full assessment before beginning any procedures. She put my comfort and recovery in top priority and took the time to understand exactly what my body needed. Everyone else only wanted to try to “fix” me without addressing the real problem, which was my daily physical habits and muscular strength. Other practices wanted to inject me with pain killers or chiropractors jumped on me, only increasing the pain I was experiencing and problems I was creating. Kathy also has a background as a physical therapist and, most impressively, it seemed as if she even knew how to “speak” to my body and help guide it into the right direction for a full recovery. She put in extra effort and time to make sure I was going to see progress as quickly as possible. In all of my time as a division one collegiate athlete, with access to top trainers, and travel all over the world to top spas and body work experts, I’ve never met anyone with such skill and passion as Kathy.I can’t wait to continue my body work and health journey at her practice, Ohm Spa.

This is my second review of Ohm spa. I went back and had a CBD massage. It was arguably the best massage I’ve ever had! I was so relaxed and had such a wonderful experience, I bought some of the CBD products there after my session. Run over there and try the CBD massage - I can’t even explain how incredible the experience was. You’ll have to experience it for yourself!

Came here for a one hour swedish massage. The pop up space is inside an old church. You take a nondescript elevator to the second floor. As soon as you exit the elevator you can smell the soothing spa scents. The waiting room is small but has the ambiance right, with snacks and teas (no cucumber infused water though). The massage was heavenly. I was a repeat client for the therapist and she knew exactly what I was looking for. I was there with a friend who had a new-to-her therapist and she loved her experience too. We got little bags of chocolate covered fruit when we left (Mothers Day gift), which was a nice touch. Everyone was very friendly and I cant wait to go back!

Where do I begin on how wonderful the ENTIRE team at Ohm Spa is?? Ive been going to this spa for 9+ years and have always had such excellent services and care. My appointments have been two-fold: I see Kathy, one of the owners, for her amazing myofascial release and deep tissue massages. She is a PT but her knowledge is SO expansive and she has helped me immensely with scoliosis pain and compartment syndrome leg pain. Additionally, Im obsessed with their CBD facials and skin care products. All of their therapists are very skilled but Ludivine is my fav for facials. For the pregnant ladies visiting, Chaya is very skilled in pre-natal massages. Just let the team know what type of service and level youre looking for, and they will match you with the perfect therapist for your needs. I wish I could go once a week!!

Always a favorite of mine for massage and deep tissue work! The staff is amazing, skilled and I never feel rushed. Made sure to arrive earlier than normal this visit to capitalize on the serenity of the lounge...a perfect start to 2017.Just came out of my first facial of the new year and what a soothing and cleansing way to get the week under way.And what an education- I have so many tools to change up my routine at home thx to a phenomenal expert who showed me how to care for my skin in a simple, more effective manner than what Ive been playing around with. Cannot wait to find rosemary essentials for my new regimen.Really appreciate everything the Ohm team does to make guests feel welcome, and this definitely the beginning of a beautiful friendship with my facialist.

Everyone at Ohm is amazing and very knowledgeable getting to the krux of your pains or tight muscles. I always leave floating in the clouds in complete bliss....ohmmmm.

Had their Head-To-Toe Package 3 days ago and Im still feeling great! Professional, courteous and attentive staff. Simple, elegant interior. Its amazing I didnt find out about this place sooner. Its the best spa in the city. Trust me, Ive been to them all.

Ive been gifting my wife packages to Ohm Spa for a few years now. She absolutely adores it.She used to goto Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa but the but in addition to them always pushing product (my wife could handle that) they became more and more pretentious over time and looked down their nose at my wife. All her favorite staff members moved on so she moved on.Ohm is quite the opposite of E.A.R.D.S. theyre consistently very warm, welcoming and attentive. They treat everyone (equally) special and theyre not pushy with products. Keep up the great work guys!

I love Ohm Spa! I received a gift card for a spa day and was in heaven! Had the 3 hour package of massage, facial and scrub. My body felt like jello afterward and I was in a total state of bliss.

The Theragun treatment in my session was amazing!! It was like it was meant for me. All of my sessions will have the Theragun treatment from now on. The gun made the deep tissue session so much less painful and Tania could get to the root of muscles right away.

Too expensive to try.I really want to like this place. It was nice, the staff was great, and the massage was even better, but the prices just killed it for me. If they cut the prices by a third this would get more stars.

Pricey services considering no steam room or sauna room or showers, but excellent deep tissue massages. The front desk is very courteous too.

This spa is a hidden gem. I walked by this place multiple times and never noticed it was in this building.The only small downside is that there arent any showers, so you might be a little oiled up afterwards, so make sure to plan ahead.
