I hated the fact that each bartender give you totally different price from the other. Like you’re coming to enjoy not to get scam by the staff. In the beginning they asked for 13$ for 2 shots and the next time he asked for 29$ for the exact same 2 shots I ordered earlier. The drinks were delicious but definitely won’t come back because of what they did about the prices. Over all three vibes were nice

Heads up about this place: they double charge you for a drink, then try to justify it with “a free drink voucher” that expires in about 10 minutes. Of course it’s impossible to get back in line and get your second “free drink” in that short window of time (given the atrocious service), so they really just double charge you. Won’t be returning ever again.

Just a good all around bar in Hells Kitchen

We came here a couple of times on our stay and were surprised to find it pretty dead both times (and we didnt go midweek). The roof terrace is nice and the bar staff were hot and flirty (which is kind of what you want from a place called Boxers!), the drinks were good but far too expensive.

I was charged $15 for a Redbull. I am so insulted that this place thinks they can rob people so blatantly. So beware that this happens when deciding your night.One positive is Diana the door goddess! She is serving looks and is so nice! The only highlight tbh.(The security staff is great also)

Boxers HK still newish building has a terrace on the roof open till 10.50pm and a decent balcony considering the narrow building.Don’t expect to be greeted by the door person or to have a friendly welcome from the barmen. The drinks are expensive. The house liquors is the cheapest and worst you can imagine. If you are a sober person, you are out of luck. The pump sodas are flat and tepid despite the ice. They don’t have any non alcoholic beer or alternatives choices non alcoholic beverages. The staff openly vape on the floor and push around the patrons. I don’t recommend this establishment.

New Boxers location, same old Boxers lameness. Possibly the stupidest bartenders ever. We asked for a Jack Daniels and a Dewars, and got two Johnny Walker blacks. They also got rid of their happy hour on the weekend. We only came here because we had brunch at Gossip nextdoor and thought we would give this place one more try. Definitely a waste of time and money.

The most expensive beer on earth, a little cup of tap beer for 10 dollars + taxes + tips. It’s a joke… I ordered chicken wings for appetizers and it took around 30 minutes in a totally empty bar.

Boxers has a mix crowd. I seen from straight people to the extra extraordinary in boxers. There is one fault with boxers, their drinks is too expensive for their crowd. They need like all boxers in nyc, a drink special that leans on into after hours. You pay $10:00 after 11pm but still that doesnt even come with a free drink. Boxers doesnt try to make their drinks reasonable and therefore, Im sure every Boxers soner or later will close down. Boxers play good music, but what is good music if the crowd isnt partying!!!!!!!

I went here on a Saturday a few weekends ago. I accidentally left my credit card and ID to meet up with friends at Industry.I immediately came back to retrieve my items and my check was already closed out. I was suspicious so I checked my credit card statement the next day. They added a number of drinks to my bill. I tried contacting this business several times with no one returning my calls.The archaic practice of holding peoples credit card and ID needs to end. Its clear to me that this tactic is used to generate fraudulent revenue for this business. I definitely dont recommend this location.

Definitely a fun place to hangout and great service. Their happy hour is awesome and definitely worth checking out. Mondays they have game night which is also fun especially the Texas Holdem table.

Great hangout spot to meetup with friends and even meet new ones. Great menu options, happy hour specials, and they even have the Impossible Burger now, which is a huge plus for me. Only gave 4 stars because they end happy hour at 7pm now, not 9pm anymore.

Cute little neighborhood bar with friendly and shirtless bartenders and a fun vibe. Food is available. We just got some fries, to tide us over til dinner. They were good.

I don’t recommend visiting this club or disco, Eagle is better. The music is not energetic and in general all the people who visited were sad, and the club has a very rude security guard at the entrance, the whole festive mood drops!!! I recommend that the club change the security guard to a security guard who is more tolerant of clothing and nationality, otherwise he finds fault with little things

Everything was just right. We had the burritos and chimichanga which were flavorful and large portions. Wait staff was friendly, courteous and full of suggestions. It was a perfect early August evening and we were fortunate to get outside seating which added incredibly to the meal. All around, a must experience if in Midtown and enjoy Mexican.

Boxers HK is one of my go-to places. The service is always incredible, the drink specials for happy hour are fantastic and the rooftop is perfection.

Cash only cover with an ATM that didnt have WiFi connection. 🫠

Fun bar with a nice roof top for when the weather is nice. We always prefer to stay in the rooftop (weather permitting); it’s a fun place tohang out with friends. Can get very busy though. The lower levels have good music. The drinks are ok, the service passable, though one of the bartenders is very friendly and nice.

A single gin and tonic was $29. Will not be returning

One of the worst bars in hells kitchen. Overpriced drinks with no alcohol in it. No matter what drink you order, it will be water down. Music selection is boring and the quality of sound is awful. Friday night performance was a trash and far from entertaining.

Tbh, I’m disappointed with this visit. Drinks are very weak. They’re obviously skimping and trying to save a few drops. Sorry, but that will catch up to you. Other than that, the new place is nice and service wasn’t bad.

Great bar and amazing servers! They are super friendly and very good looking!!! The atmosphere is very lovely!! We sat on the patio and the weather was also lovely. I had mango and peach frozen margarita ad it was great!!! It’s also located in a great neighborhood. It’s less than 10 min walk to Times Square.

2 drinks happy hour cost was 87 dollars , i know thats a bit pricey .. the place is ok still like there 20th street location the most , better vibes there. I think for hells kitchen they need to pick up the vibes here as there is lots of competition in this area.

I cant say so much of this place. I went there and wanted to enjoy a night during the Labor day weekend. Sat for about 30 minutes and nobody approached at least to offer a glass of water. Only the host put the Menus on the table a disappeared. Just noticed that if you are not in a loud table with your friends, the waiters will not take care of you.

I thought it was a fun little bar! Only saw the main level and it was midday on a Sunday, but it seemed fine. It was a bit dark for that time of the day, but thatll affect people differently based on their preference. The bar staff were super friendly and very quick, and there was a great 2 for 1 deal that essentially net me 4 large cocktails for about $26. I think thats a good price, because they were good cocktails too. Good music, a couple of screens playing various games or music videos, a chill place Id go back to.

The crowd was friendly and the open rooftop was nice (but they are going to need heat lamps soon). Biggest complaint was the bartender kept changing the prices they charged: they were overcharging when accepting cash...

So many fun times and memories here. It can get occasionally super crowded on Saturday nights by the bar on the main floor— especially when the temperature drops. But the fun part is the second floor “rooftop” during the spring and summer time— more of an opportunity to get faster drinks and grab some food.But the happy hour is unbeatable here! Love collection the cards and then redeeming them for free drinks.

Friday nights are best. Good music and a great atmosphere. Saturdays are better downstairs since it carries the vibe from Friday. For some reason upstairs is stuffy and the crowd isnt as easy going. Sundays on the terrace are great for spending time with friends, enjoying deinks and laughing over the weekends shenanigans.

I visited this establishment from out of town on Friday and Saturday night this past weekend. The service was horrible. Not to mention as I was ordering a premium cocktail and the go-go dancer was on top of the bar dancing and knocked my drink over as the bartender handed it to me. The dancer apologized to me and proceeded to tell the bartender with the big black beard that is displayed on the anniversary picture on website (Far left) that he accidentally knocked the cocktail over and the bartender told him oh well. The dancer proceed to make sure the bartender heard him and the bartender just walked off and served other people. I then called the bartender and told him that the drink was knocked over and he told me I would have to pay for another drink. I told him that is very rude and disrespectful. He then attempted to pour well liquor after he knew I clearly ordered top shelf. I then told him I don’t want well liquor and he got upset. This will be my last time EVER visiting this place. Not to mention I spent over $250 in drinks at the establishment in total for 2 days. I’ve attempted to contact the bar but the phone just rings and goes to voicemail. I will make sure that no one in my network visit this place and also not be served by that bartender. The cocktails in this establishment range from $15-20 dollars if you’re not drinking wells. I would hope someone from this place reach out and refund all my monies!

Slowest bar service upstairs on the roof on a Friday during happy hour. Tons of people trying to give this business their money, yet only two bartenders slowly working to take it. We ended up skipping drinks and just hanging out. Great location but if youre actually wanting to buy a drink youre going to wait a very long time.

As a straight woman, eye candy. ;). Lovely staff, people there were very nice. Great rooftop. Delightful and eccentric crowd. Huge rooftop to accommodate a large amount of people. Went on a Saturday afternoon will certainly go back.

Decent place. The crowd is pretty low-key, late 20s to middle-aged. The bartender wasnt the most helpful and was fairly sassy. They didnt have any draft beers. So just some ho-hum bottles.The entire downstairs was empty on a weekday night so we used a table down there to play games. They walked by and let us be.Basically, a pretty generic place. Nothing noteworthy.

Located in a great spot. Close to transit and other establishments. Great rooftop, but the service SUCKS.Good to start of end an evening as the space is large enough to accommodate a diverse crowd and varying interests.The waiters and bar staff are great, but the support staff needs serious help and training.

The bartenders are usually rude at any Boxers to be honest but this one specifically had a new bartender that inserted his thumb in our drinks when passing it to us? Plus I paid almost 70 dollars for 3 drinks which is excessive for a bar. And the music at this one is pop/dance as opposed to the other boxers which has more fun reggaeton and hip hop music.

This club is terrible. The bouncers were extremely and unnecessarily rude (the worst I’ve personally experienced in nyc). The music was horrible and the vibes were not good. I do not recommend this club.

I brought my service animal and was denied entry because she is a 25lb dog. He was asking me for paperwork (illegal) and telling me I would have to carry her if I dug up paperwork. I felt shamed for my service animal and reported the establishment for denying us entry. Not a welcoming bar, and to be honest the bouncer probably would deny entry for other reasons too. Don’t go here.

Fun atmosphere with great drink deals. Every day has a different drink deal on top of their standard 2-4-1 happy hour. Theres a great rooftop during the summer too! I always have fun here.

Gone 5x different days suppppppeeerrrrr empty all the time. And there is no bathroom on the rooftop. So u have to go down to the first floor. Rooftop is on 3. So... yea no. I like Chelsea better.

Hot, shirtless bartenders and servers and cold beverages. Who can beat it?Several floors and bar options to meet your needs. Music, videos and sports on the TVs. Beer, standard drinks and specialty drinks available. They offer a food menu as well, tho we didnt order food. Apparently, they offer brunch too. We will be back.

Service was absolutely terrible. After we sat down, it took 20 mins for our drinks to come and over an hour for our food to arrive. Once the food arrived, it was COLD! And some food wasn’t available and they don’t bring this up until an hour after we ordered. We had to track down the server for help more than they paid attention to us. While we were here multiple of their kegs ran out and they ran out of white claw. Garbage bar. Never come here.

Bartenders were very nice and friendly. There are gender neutral bathrooms here which is fine however there was a creepy tall security guard that was looking over the stalls as females used the bathroom. He needs to be fired ASAP very inappropriate.

Went there for the RPDR viewing party, we’re a lesbian couple and we didn’t feel welcome at all. It’s a lot of looks and remarks from the customers. The bartenders are nice the drinks are good had better but at least you really feel the liquor in them. If you’re a women or a lesbian couple make yourself a favor and don’t go there it feels really awkward and uncomfortable.

Great! Especially in nice weather with one of the best outdoor spaces in the local gay community. Happy hour is also very good until 8/9pm depending on the day! Highly recommended!

2x1 Happy hour, super friendly staff, great playlist, good food, I recommend the nachos. They gave you a poker card for your next drink, I really like this there.

During the summer on a Friday afternoon there is no better place to kick off the weekend than Boxers rooftop for happy hour. If you can get there around 4 you should be able to snag a table for your friends. Any later and you will likely be standing. The food is the only thing that needs some work. Ideally you would go somewhere else!

Great place to start the night, good music, great crowd, and great drinks, happy hour is great too buy one get one! I’ve never had the food. But they got a nice menu.

The younger brother of the Chelsea location that started the franchise. Once an Italian restaurant, this location boasts three levels on a busy night - the popular one being the roof deck. The deck is mostly seating thanks to some community board battles, but it provides a nice escape from the otherwise sun-lacking interior of the main level. Regardless, always a good spot for happy hour.

This is just a horrible place to go to. The manager is disgusting with his behavior and manners. The rudest people are always the ugliest and most tawdry. They also pay for Instagram likes and followers to look good. The whole theme is corny. Look at the Yelp reviews, hopefully they aren’t paying for those either.

This Boxers is not my Favorite. I prefer Downtown 20th St. But Yet and Still! You will have a good time here. The roof is great! And the food they server is great bar food ok. You and your crowd make it a good time. Come with your Woes and you will love it!

Fun location with a nice rooftop and TVs to catch the game. They offer food service during limited hours of the day. There is a pool table in the back and serval full service bars throughout the different levels.

Super friendly staff, you can catch a game at the bar or if you feel like dancing, theres a dance floor just next to it. Terrace is pretty spaceous but still manages to get super crowded on weekends

The staff and their manager are only friendly if youre not black. Ive had the worst experience and worst interactions with this establishments staff and manager. They definitely show favoritism to their white and latino patrons. And as someone who worked behind the scenes at one of their parties on Friday night, they really could care less about black people. Prejudice will not be tolerated in NYC in 2019. Blacks should boycott this place until they get their act together.

Great Atmosphere! The Bartenders and Servers are Phenomenal! They are Professional, Prompt, and they are the sexiest men I have seen. Good Phenomenal Food. Definitely is the hottest spot in the city.

I wish security was a bit more active but other than getting harassed by a customer, it was a good time.By the way, it was several times and my friends had to come to my defense because no security was in sight. And when we told the staff, they did nothing. Even though the guy was harassing a lot of ladies and people.

This is my go to bar, great drinks good prices and fun music. Happy hour special is a can’t beat. Not the best space for dancing but best to get a drink and catch up with friends

I havent been there in about a year or so and I just went to their Saturday night party. Packed as always, reasonable entry fee, great music and atmosphere. I took my family and we had a ball!!

I liked it because it was a sports bar, a gay sports bar. That can sometimes seem oxymoronic but its not and this place works, its huge with 3 floors, a rooftop terrace and flat screens everywhere. I gave it 4 stars and Id probably give 5 if I were gay, just saying.

Skip this spot.As far as staff, this is the worst of the 3 BOXERS IN NYC. I went the other night for Wednesday KAREOKE BATTLE with 2 friends and left almost as soon as we walked in. We all order a drink from one bartender and says to my friend there are no straws. My other friend asked another bartender (he looked like a wannabe Tarzan with a rat face and giant pepperoni nipples) for straws, which he provided. That same bartender gets told by the first not to give straws. So rat faced Tarzan completely flips out, screaming at the top of his lungs completely directed at us, threatening to take our straws away. I guess the bar is trying a save the turtles thing and he got spanked for not abiding. This isnt the first time Ive had to deal with an irrational queen from this place and it will be the last time I go to this location. We went to another bar a block over and had the night of our life.DONT waste your good time or money on this place.

No reason to charge $20 for a basic mixed drink. I have never paid that much for a drink in a grungy place. The price should reflect the atmosphere and that was NOT a $20 drink atmosphere....

Did not enjoy myself here after one of the staff members verbally attacks one of my friends. when brought to the managers attention he responds “he’s having a bad day” as if tht was suppose to justify his rudeness and disrespectful actions to a patron who was spending A LOT of money tht night.

Probably not the best Boxers location, but its Boxers. Good/Decent drinks, a great place to bring friends to laugh, talk and meet new people. Also, it definitely helps that the bar tenders are enjoyable to watch.

I go here almost every other Saturday and let me tell you Boxers never disappoints! lol They play throw back music from the 90s, Reggae and even soca! Coat check is 3 dollars make sure you take a pic of your ticket because if you lose it you will be stuck there until the club closes. Drink prices are just like any other club in the city but during the week they have 2 for 1 specials during happy hour!

This has been the worst New York’s experience I’ve ever had. I will never ever ever ever enter this night club again. The fact that you can misplace your check in ticket for your jacket and be forced to wait until 4 AM in the morning until you can retrieve your belongings that YOU paid for is absolutely ridiculous. From the police to the bouncers in the club they are all useless. If you are wearing anything expensive, I highly advise that you do not enter this club as it can’t be missed placed and you will have no control over it and you’ll never see it again

This is nice energetic bar located inHells Kitchen( W50th and 9th Avenue). In summer it has a rooftap patio that patrons can go and enjoy summer air. The bartenders go shirtless and wear red boxer shorts. All are friendly. They have a kitchen that you can get finger food and burgers from. This bar is very serious about carding patrons to make sure youare over 21. Some nights they have a cover charge that is either $10 or $20 dollars. They offer a good selection of liquor and beers. Prices arw typical for NYC . Some nights they have a DJ spinning. They have a strict no drugs policy.Overall this is good place to meet a friend for a drink or 2. The one drawback is if you are over 35-40 you may feel out of place.

Went for the first time for outside happy hour. Had a fabulous time. The margarita prices are fair and they taste soooo good. Two does the job lol.

Me and my 2 friends decided to travel from the Bronx to this venue. After purchasing our first 3 drinks we asked for straws, when one bartender said they had none we asked another for them. He provided us 3 straws. After that other patrons complained about not getting straws and the one who provided us straws proceeded to have a vocal verbal tantrum because he gave us straws. Not only was it unprofessional it was embarrassing and disrespectful.

May be in just claustrophobic but it was way too packed in there, the music was too loud (for me), but thats how clubs are! I got pickpocketed somewhere in the croud and lost money and bud, props to the thieve who has sneak skills at lvl100.Bathroom isnt cute but it was nice to have a guy down there squirt hand soap and hand me a paper towel he kept the order down there.Did i mention it was too hot and i was not even dancing, i would suggest more ac units installed.Drinks were good.The dancer boys were super cute ill have to find them on IG lol stocker mode!I would stongly recomend having the too floor open at night time cause there was a need for fresh air and i bet tgat if we were upstairs i would have enjoyed it more, the breaze a corner my drink and watch my friends sance in the croud lol...

I like the rooftop but I wish Boxers HK makes accommodations for disabled folx (especially disabled queer folx) so they can enjoy too.

Brand new location leaves much to be desired. Drinks are expensive and poorly made. The bartenders need more training. The rooftop is promising but desperately needs a sound system.

Shasta and aj are very fun and inclusive bartenders. 12/10 would recommend coming.

I dont know what else to say but its freaking boxers. Hot men, great music, and the pizza is amazing for a bar. I totally recommend this place if you wanna have fun, dance, and meet fun hot people.

Boxers is just OK. It bills itself as a sports bar, but really its basically any other NYC bar with loud music - it just happens to have a few TVs on the walls, and has bartenders in sporty pants with no shirts.And while I appreciate a cute bartender with a great body not wearing a shirt as much as the next guy, Boxers really isnt a sports bar.And honestly the brunch just seems kinda sad. We stopped by on Sunday to find it completely empty.

Polite service whenever I come with friends. And I enjoy their 2-for-1 deal along with the cool poker cards they hand you to redeem that second drink.

Run down bar with over priced drinks. $12 for a house vodka with cranberry? Really, maybe for Goose... And for a Sunday afternoon, I get better service at Posh.

This boxers is welcoming. With an excellent happy hour and very efficient and lovely bartenders. The boxers on the Upper East Side is one of the most pretentious.And inhospitable, and unwelcoming bars in NY.

I mean, it is sooo overcrowded, if you dont have a problem with overcrowded, it is 4 stars The staff is overall nice. Especially the Italian guy in the door. Hes nice.

DJs USUALLY ALWAYS messes up on Saturday Latin Night. Why would it be called Latin Night and no Latin Music?Well, good for the Hip-hop lovers, but at least stop false advertising and wasting our time saying that its Latin Night trying to bring us all here and the only things playing is NOT LATIN.

House keys were in pocket and everything. :( Red headed manager was of no help what so ever. Advice: put your initials on it and make sure the coat check person knows. Yet even that could fail.

Saturday night, this is a very low place. First at the entrance a fight, second a $10 fee entrance when no other club or bar around here does it and third we got kick out immediately and I just need it to order an Uber away from the cold.

Good place 1st floor had good music, good energy and drinks were decent, service was fine and hookah available, please come to this place with an open mind this isnt a place for close minded people, had a great time

I really didnt appreciate the doorman putting his fingers in my pockets during a pre-entry pat down. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Not in any context, not to mention illegal. Whether you are checking for weapons or drugs, you must ask the patron to empty their pockets, not place your hands in them. This kind of security measure is invasive, unwarranted, and unjustifiable in a gay bar in Hells Kitchen.

The pale skin hispanic kid at the door has to go.There have been multiple times that hes been at the door and my intereraction with him made me turn right back around. Hes rude, arrogant, and very condescending. My friend says that he also gropped him inappropiately. I used to go to this Boxers location all the time and wont be returning sadly. He makes me very uncomfortable !

Used the photobooth downstairs and within ten minutes my bank account was completely drained. I know it was from this photobooth because when I checked the charges, the photobooth and Boxers did not show up in my charges. Sketchy place overall. 10 dollar cover charge and there was not even space to move.

Got my life there for world pride! Great drinks, hot men and the DJ was great all night! One of the best nights of the weekend was there 😝

New hells kitchen location of the Chelsea Boxers bar. Has a rooftop that is open till late. Evenings are a relaxed sports bar atmosphere. Weekends are a hit or miss and could be a relaxed environment or a clubby atmosphere.

Great place to hit on the weekend!! Be advised, It gets VERY crowded.

The bartender had a great attitude and made us lovely drinks BUT the sound is awful, we could barely hear the songs, I guess they turned off the speakers at the front door.

Good place for cheap BOGO drinks during happy hour. Theres a basement floor and a rooftop open during the summers which is nice.

The upstairs patio is great. The downstairs is meh. Drink specials al can be better at other bars, especially on weekends.

ZERO customer service!!! First time there, went in for dinner and a drink, waited 20mins and no one even came and asked offered water let alone food. It was only 6pm and it was not busy. Nice location but LOUSY service.

Went from the Chelsea boxers to the this one and it was way more expensive! After having happy hour in Chelsea and coming to this one I was really disappointed. I was told that both boxers had the same deal, and when it came down to it, it wasnt.

Very crowded. Expect a pat down from security when you walk in. Drinks are watered down and overpriced. The crowd is also nasty and will push you all over the place.

Rude bartenders who arent attractive... definitely dont come for the service but the DJ is good
