I had one of the best facials ever! Every step of the facial was so soothing, not only did my skin looks great afterward, I also felt really relaxed yet energized at the same time! Ana the owner was very caring and passionate about skincare and it was such a pleasure to hear her explain the benefits of the steps, tools and products used for the facial. She did not push for any add on treatment or product purchases either which I find some places do which ruin the experience. She did give me a generous number of samples to try! which I really appreciate! I cant wait to go back!

I found GingerChis Heaven & Earth Gua Sha facial through a Google search for best facials in NYC and it absolutely did not disappoint! Anna welcomed me into the space with such warmth and kindness. We immediately connected over great conversations. She explained the procedure every step of the way and my face was truly transformed afterwards. We didnt think of doing before/after photos, but an hour and a half with Anna definitely made a huge difference to my face. I felt like a work of art! Or a sculpture even. :)The products used during the facial smelled great and worked wonders--to the point where my skin does not work with other products since (especially those that have harsh or toxic ingredients.) Im also more aware of how my skin reacts to different products now. I bought a beautiful jade gua sha right after, as well as the oil cleanser. I received a gift bag with samples of all the products used during the procedure and have been using them to the last drop. I am also shopping GingerChi goodies now for my friends outside of NYC because I can not stop raving about this place!Im due for my second 1.5 hour facial this week and I really cant wait! The energy in the space and Annas care for what she does is healing and unique. It has changed the way I take care of my face and myself in general. Incredible experience at GingerChi spa! Anna and Amy were both so kind and attentive. I had acupressure and gua sha done on the face and body and as someone who has had her fair share of massages, I never felt more relaxed leaving a massage than I did this one. I cannot say enough good things! I’ll definitely be coming back for a facial!!

I cannot say enough good things about GingerChi and its owner, Anna! I received a Heaven and Earth Gua Sha 90 minute facial as a birthday present and made an appointment for last week. From start to finish the whole experience was HEAVENLY. Booking was easy and personalized. When I arrived at the shop, I was instantly relaxed by the smells and ginger tea Anna offered me. My treatment was pure bliss -- Anna talked me through what she was doing and the products she was using and ensured my comfort throughout. At the end of the session, I felt no pressure whatsoever to buy anything. But, since I do favor all natural products and the smells were incredible, I couldnt resist leaving with a few new items for my skincare regimen. I have already told my boyfriend that I will take a treatment at GingerChi for all future gifts -- I cant wait to return and to spread the word about this amazing business!

I am so happy I found Gingerchi and the 60 minute Heaven & Earth Gua Sha Natural Face Lift facial is exactly what I was looking for! Immediately after the treatment, I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The Heaven Earth Gua Sha Natural Face Lift is nothing short of heavenly and Ive never felt more at peace than during (and after) my sessions. Anna has the most warm energy that creates the most comfortable atmosphere for her clients. Between the vibrational sounds, hot tea offered, relaxing smells, and unbelievable Gua Sha experience... theres no other spa in NYC that compares.Anna is not only passionate about GingerChis products and treatments, but has expert knowledge. She makes the experience so personable and gives skincare recommendations for you without pushing her own products, showing genuine care for your wellness. Where other neighboring facial spas falter, Ginger Chi shines. They’re not pushy about their products and really try to make you feel comfortable during your session.I booked the About Face Combo (includes extractions + Gua Sha treatment) and Helen was fantastic in explaining every step to me to ensure I felt comfortable. Anna was also there to greet me at the start and end, explained the products used on me, and gave me samples to take home (the regenerating face serum is so good!). Extractions were also barely painful, so much so that I fell asleep during it.Can’t believe I waited this long to book a facial, but now I can’t wait to be back!

I had the Heaven and Earth facial with Anna. Best facial I’ve ever had. Every detail was considered — the tea I was served on arrival, hot stones to keep me warm and relaxed, the incredible Ginger Chi Products. I visited Gingerchi last week for a Heaven & Earth Gua Sha Natural Face Lift facial and it was one of the best facials I have received in my life! From the moment I stepped in, Anna was so thoughtful and made sure to make me feel comfortable and at ease.I booked the 90 minutes slot which includes Gua Sha application to the head/scalp, neck, shoulder and lower back and it was so relaxing and just what I needed. The use of hot stones and cold Gua Sha stones was so relaxing and made my face and whole body feel so rejuvenated afterwards. I learnt a lot from Anna regarding Gua Sha application and cant wait to incorporate it in my daily routine.Even a week later, I feel like my face is glowing and I feel more relaxed in general. I had booked the 60 min HEAVEN & EARTH GUA SHA facial treatment and absolutely loved it. Rose who performed the treatment was amazing and I almost fell asleep since it was so relaxing. I especially enjoyed the cold Jade stone mask. Also I felt that my neck tension was relieved afterwards. The space was very cozy and calm and Anna was so welcoming. I highly recommend Ginger Chi to everyone who is looking for a super relaxing experience midst in a hectic day. I definitely will come back when I am in NYC.

The products are high quality and have amazing scents. The results were fantastic, both physically and mentally. GingerChi is a wonderful store in New York City that you cannot miss! I had a relaxing facial by Anna, it is called Heaven and Earth. My skin was glowing and looked even better the following day.I also highly recommend the purifying cleansing oil. It is my favorite product sold at GingerChi. I review a lot of skin care products and this cleanser is a staple on my shelf.

This was probably the biggest gift I could have made to myself while being in New York for one month and one of the most precious treatments I ever received. The place itself is very cute, atmospheric, aesthetically appealing and gently filled with natural scents. I booked the Heaven and Earth Gua Sha treatment for 90 minutes, felt comfortable and loved every second of it. Roses hands and presence made this the most calming and recharging experience I had in New York. And the skin of my face was left relaxed, glowing, smooth and elastic. I definitely recommend booking 90 minutes as it includes a whole body massage that really completes the whole experience. Thank you Rose and Anna for one of the most precious treatments I ever had!

Amazing place! Just went in to buy a gua sha and comb and Ana was so helpful and kind. She had recommendations for what I was looking for and gave me helpful advice and a free sample of face oil. Very welcoming and wonderful vibe overall, they also served me some delicious tea!

This was an incredible treatment. I had the Gua Sha facial and my face was so sculpted after.

Entering the space you immediately melt and feel so calm. Ana’s energy grounds you and Rose has the hands of an actual ethereal being. One of the best facials I have ever had — Beyond relaxing and meditative. My skin was so hydrated and depuffed.

I stopped in to get a gua sha for my jaw pain and Anna was so considerate and knowledgeable. She showed me how to use the tool and helped me find the right one. She makes all of her products and I tried the face oil and it smells delicious. The gua sha, after a 5 min massage, has already helped my jaw muscles release! Can’t wait to go back.

The heaven and hearth facial at gingerchi was truly a divine experience! anna and rose were both so friendly, welcoming, and kind and i felt so special at every moment in their spa and store. it was remarkable. it was so much more than a facial, and left me feeling and looking more refreshed and rejuvenated than any facial ive ever had. the treatment included aromatherapy, wonderful smelling natural skin products, many different elements of massage, soothing and lifting gua sha, and a scalp massage at the end. my hair had been in a french braid when i arrived and rose even took the time to rebraid my hair! i felt so cared for and when i left, i was glowing from the inside out!

I had a wonderful experience at Gingerchi with Anna and Rose. My favorite was the Belly Away Gua Sha Slimming Treatment. In a place like NYC it’s so hard to find postpartum treatments that aid in your healing. This one was so great I could see results after the first time. The practitioner also gave me exercises to do once I returned home to help release the gas and toxins from my midsection. It’s worth noting that even though they sell many products made by the owners in-store, they didn’t try to force me to purchase anything. Instead, they gave me samples for things most ideal for my body, encouraged me to try them at home (with instructions), and then encouraged me to purchase the ones I liked online using a discount code. Also, for certain treatments, if you buy a package you’ll get a 20% discount. I can’t wait to go back.

I am in love. I adore everything about GingerChi. I received an amazing HEAVEN & EARTH GUA SHA NATURAL FACIAL. I booked the 90 minute treatment and would do so again. My treatment was fantastic, my provider was skilled and such a delightful person. The owner is welcoming and has an amazing concept. I am a huge fan of the way GingerChi integrates traditional wisdom with modern practices. As a Usui Reiki Master Teacher and advanced Yi Ren Qigong practitioner, I can affirm, this is the real deal. They know what they are doing. I am so excited about GingerChi’s offerings.

So THRILLED I found this wonderful nook in Chinatown!! Was able to get an amazing facial. Skin feels baby brand new. Come enjoy the jade full body warming table as the magic begins all over your face! The scents, ambiance, hospitality was phenomenal. Coming back AGAIN and AGAIN.

I bought some of Ginger Chis products online and I was beyond impressed! They shipped and arrived in a timely fashion and everything was wrapped beautifully. The products are high quality and easy to use; I really appreciated the clear instructions that helped me figure out how to use them correctly. LOVE this shop and Ill be getting more products in the future!

This review is about a month late but still thinking about this facial!Everyone was so kind and educated me on the process of gua sha, etc and after an hour my face totally changed- glowing, depuffed and clear of impurities. They serve you this wonderful tea at the end as well to continue your cleansing process. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

I would give GingerChi 10 stars if I could! I had a Heaven and Earth Gua Sha Face Lift and cant say enough good things about it. I felt very welcomed, and the studio was calming and clean. I normally tend to space out during these types of treatments, but because each aspect was so intentional and pleasant, I found myself enjoying the sensation of every moment. The ASMR-inducing clacking of the tools, the scent of the oils, the amazing hand and scalp massage at the end - it was such a lovely pampering. And I am extremely pleased with how soft and rejuvenated my face feels and looks afterwards. I feel lucky to have found this spa and am grateful to the staff for making this such a wonderful, special experience.

Lovely shop. I had a great experience getting to test out various oils before purchasing their regenerating serum. They also have jade rollers and combs that are relaxing to use on the skin and scalp. I picked up a jade comb that came with instructions about certain pressure points to help with reducing fatigue and hair rejuvenation. I want to come back soon to pick up other skincare products here.

I stopped by to get some gifts for Mothers Day. The owner Anna was very helpful and friendly, she helped me choose several great gifts. They wrapped the presents so nicely too!I highly recommend this place if you need to get any gifts or bodycare products.

I had the 60 minute heaven and earth facial/gua sha with Anna. It was such a calming and transformative experience. I ended up leaving with a package of 4 sessions and multiple products. Definitely recommend 😊

She loved the gift (especially the softness of the organic muslin face cloth and the jade roller). Let me start by saying that my girlfriend isnt the kind of woman who cares much about skin treatments, or beauty products. I wouldnt say shes a tomboy, but she definitely leans more towards that side of the spectrum. So I wasnt expecting such a positive reaction to the Ginger Chi face set, and frankly, I dont think she expected to like it as much either. She was thankful because it was an unexpected little gift, for no special occasion, but a little skeptical about the whole thing.PROS: Now she cant stop using the roller, the face cloth (apparently it gets even softer the more you wash it), and it has reduced the number of single-use makeup removal wipes at home.CONS: While its supposed to be a DIY roller, she has discovered the pleasures of someone else rolling it on her face... guess who?

GingerChi has so many wonderful products but during the pandemic my favorite has been the Ginger Citrus Sanitizer. I keep it on my sink for when Im in too much of a hurry to lather and scrub for 20+ seconds. Its easy to use, has a subtle aroma and doesnt leave my hands sticky. The alcohol evaporates quick leaving my hands feeling cleaner than ever.

It isn’t every day that you find a skincare line that supports the energetic stages of a woman’s life with Regenerating Serum, Women’s Nourish Oils, Anti-Aging silk masks and the highest caliber Jade Roller I’ve ever used. Highly recommend you pop in this wonderful shop and sample the products yourself.

This is by far the best massage spot in the city. The masseuse all know exactly what they’re doing. And this is the only spot where they massage you correctly and strong enough.
