Went in there for the first time today and it was awesome. great for peace lovers, hippies, hemp users, and crystal lovers. and black light poster/sticker/tie dye lovers. employees seemed stressed but it might’ve just been the heat. also love the mushroom decor in that 3rd photo. it’s a bit expensive as well but they’re great quality products so makes sense.

My favorite shop on the Newport bay front. I bought a purse there 15 years ago and upgraded to the same purse at the same price today! If youre a hippie its the best place! Incense, black light posters, clothes and oils. I love it! The staff are amazing and good conversation. This is always a stop for me at the coast.

The staff here are very nice people who care about the customer and they will be missed very much in Newport oregon.

They have a great collection of a little bit of everything from clothing to meditation itemsand a Black light room to bong room

Everytime Im in Newport, I make sure to stop here. Its by far my favorite attraction on the Bayfront. From all the beautiful pieces to bumper stickers, its everything I love in a shop. I still have my first tye dye bag that I bought there from years ago! Always a blast to see the new stuff they bring in and support local artists 🎨

Spent a few hundred bucks here...went in for a new mod (vape) and was pleasantly surprised with the woman who helped me. She didnt know much about them but opened everything and made sure that what I purchased was what I was seeking. Also tons of tie-dye and just a really cool throwback hippie store. I dislike classifying this type of store as theres likely something for everyone in this nostalgic place!

Awesome, fun little shop. Every summer that my family has spent at the coast, we make a stop here (even when we stay nearly an hour away). Great selection of jewelry, incense, oils, and clothing, as well as gift items. The prices seem very fair, especially for the quality of the product. Staff has always been very kind and personable (we visit every summer, and they remember us). Highly recommended!

This place is as great as its ever been! The people working inside were so friendly and helpful! Great vibes and a huge selection of goodies from tapestries to crystals to clothing and jewelry. I could go on forever. I love it here. You guys rock, never change!

The quality has gone downhill. The sizes are way off. My friend wears a size 2, but the “one size” shirts were too small. Many of the fabrics are thin and cheap too. It’s disappointing since this was always one of my favorite shops.

I absolutely LOVE this place, whenever I get a chance to go to Newport, Im right there on the bay front heading to Jambos! I always find things I have to have. Prices are fair, I buy my tapestries there, and my oils & lotions. Nag Champa & Patchouli are always a must. The employees are always so friendly & helpful. I could get lost in all the awesomeness they have going on there!💙🧡💚💜❤💛

Ive asked to speak to the owner to work to talk about it there. No one has reached out to me even after emailing. So I decided to leave a review. First off I would like to say hi ve been coming here for years. I save money just to make a trip to this store. Last time I went I spent $438. I often didnt this much every visit.With that said when I come into this store and the clerks immediately start following me around it gets upsetting. Mind you I know that they see so many people and they probably have issues with theft but when Im paying for my stuff and the manager Kylie comes out and is still being disrespectful and aggressive towards me its really humiliating. especially after I pay and I come back to by more and she snaps and me and is condescending and rude. I left almost in tears, I even considered returning everything I paid for. I messaged the store asking to speak to the owner. Kylie responded arguing with me making excuses for the way she acted. Gave me an email to get ahold of the owner which no one ever responded to. I dont think Ill be coming back. I found all the brands online that I come there to buy. All it would of taken was a sincere apology.

Every time Im out on the coast, this is a must go place for me. The clothes, the crystals, and the incense are all beautiful.

BOW WOW MEOW is the store Im reviewing. Its owned by the same people. Great pet store, would like to see more products for cats, its primarily for dogs. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Ill definitely go back, when Im in the area. LAURA, thank you for your help.

LOVE THIS STORE!! I come here every time i’m in Newport and empty my wallet each time haha! The staff is incredibly kind, helpful and laid back! also best prices you can find on the bay front, Adorable clothes that are half the price of other stores in the area! Don’t walk RUN over to jambo’s!!

Curly haired blonde chick working the head section has a terrible attitude. Limited glass anyways and store smells gross. Been going there for off and on for 20 years and wont again.

I loved this place when it was in Portland and was delighted to hear it had just moved out to the beach, Ill be checking in for tye dye dresses whenever ib come out there to visit my sister now.

Awesome stuff and any kind of gem or crystal. Incense and incense burners. Lots of rings and other jewelry. Shirts and other clothes in tie-dye or other cool trippy designs. Posters and a poster room to veiw them all hung up and in black light as a lot of them are black light reactive. Also pipes and other glass smoke utensils.

Absolutely a must each time we come to the coast. We always find goodies to take home each time. The people working are very kind and generous!! Very affordable!

Staff are pretty awkward and treat you like youre planning to steal merch. Theyll also make comments that seem passive aggressive when you check out multiple items but then only purchase one, or if you dont buy everything they helped you look at. Then if you decide you want that top, or whatever item, theyll take it from you without any explanation (or warning) and tell you itll be at the register waiting for when you check out. So to do this, theyre always standing close, watching and making comments.. Very uncomfortable and pretty rude.

Used to be a great place when I started going. Last few times ive gone the staff have been spacey, irritated and in a general bad mood. They lost their keys and couldnt find them to open the cases so I could see items. Then when I was asking questions the employee was annoyed and also had no idea what she was talking about. Told me something was quartz and in fact it was glass. I tried to purchase papers, tips and butane yesterday, something went wrong with their machine and I was stuck waiting 20 min so they could call their bank and confirm the purchase. Then when I get home the tips and papers arnt even in the bag. But the employee insists that it was put in the bag, again this is the employee that also lost the keys in the store. Disappointed with the store but more so the employees. If you dislike your job just quit instead of having such a negative attitude all the time. Not gonna shop there anymore.

This place is great! Lots of tie die, incense, black light posters, awesome comfy clothes, crystals, reggae and Bohemian inspired fashion. Right on the bay front.

No matter what your into, Jambos most likely has something to satisfy your taste,need & want. Their clothing line is fabulous as is there jewelry, stone & glass works!!!!! What a super fun environment to explore in. THANK you Jambos.

They have a good selection of incense, but they dont stay lit. I find myself relighting their incense between 2 and 10 times. Rarely will one stay lit, so Im hoping its just a bad batch.

I love Jambos. They have amazing everything. From essential oils to gems to clothes. Their glass is pretty legit too. Totally worth stopping in. The staff is amazing too.

The very best of people work there is a beautiful, all inclusive lil hippy shop.

Theres alot of glass to choose from however felt the staff was rude and condescending alot a bit of profiling I felt like I was gonna get shook down for stolen goods. Dont go in there if your brown thats for sure... But did leave with a new one.. Wont be doing business there again..! Funny thing is that isnt the first time The staff have done a poor job w/ a customer! Get on your A game Jambos!

I went here on the 29th(Newport location), which was my 20th birthday, i was picking out a poster from their shop and the worker BETH called the one i wanted ugly right in front of my face, and made me cry, would not recommend because of this selfish worker, everyone else was great but i hope they want to hire more professional people and not bullies:(
