OYO Hotel North Lima OH - Boardman

Owners are super friendly and helpful! The rooms are cleaner & cheaper than the hotel right across the street. Beds are super comfy and they have smoking rooms available! Location is right by all the stores and things to do. Can not beat staying at this hotel for the price! Super affordable and friendly stay. Thank you OYO! I enjoy staying here for the time being❤️

We had two rooms and these were our observations:1. If you don’t pay ahead - which is the default option - they may cancel your reservation or give you a different type of room.2. Check in and out was easy.3. The person at the desk doesn’t give you a key. They walk to your room and unlocked it. It seemed creepy and made one of us feel unsafe.4. The shower only worked in 1 room. It was late at night when discovered so not reported.5. The beds were comfortable.6. The rooms were stuffy and smelled like dust. When the AC ran it helped a bit.7. One of the bathrooms had a window that was dirty - cobwebs, dirt, etc. - and the bathroom windows in both rooms were painted shut.8. There is a gap at the bottom of the door going outside. One of the neighbors was a smoker and smoked outside so smoke came into our room a few times.We wouldn’t stay here again mostly due 1 & 3 above.

This is an older Hotel without any of the extra frills but the room was clean and it had a brand new shower in it. New paint. It had a really good mattress with a nice thick pillow. It was also quiet. Staff was nice. The room was very inexpensive. Overall, it was an excellent quality for the money.

Building is older, but clean! Room had new spacious tiled shower and excellent AC.Staff was incredibly helpful when I left a personal item in the room and worked with me to help me retrieve it on our return trip.Cant beat the location - down the road from Dairy Queen!Would stay again!

The owner is crazy, and threatened us to leave his property when we requested to change the room. First impression of the room, did not look like the pictures, the carpet was pungent and everything looked very old. When we requested to change the room, the owner (charging a blue Tesla out front), he surged out racist asian comments and took pictures of us, threatening us to leave. He refused to issue us a refund, and has my boyfriend’s deposit. We did not even stay the night. This is disgusting.

I travel a lot for work doing construction. I pay for my rooms out of my own pocket. This place is perfect for me quiet, clean, bed is comfy, shower is big, clean & the price was affordable. Fridge is just the little square one a bigger fridge would be better, but I made do

Stayed here as my original plans fell through, and had a great experience! The beds were comfy, everything was so clean and smelled good too! I couldn’t hear others through the walls like you can in normal hotels - I would stay here again! Loved that they were also pet friendly.

For a humble looking hotel.This was very endearing, quiet, clean and safe.Friendly, and family run employees. The owner makes you feel like family. I’ll def stay here every time I come back to Boardman.

I spent an evening here. The room is clean and tidy, with no odor, and there is always hot water supply. The bathing experience is also very good. The TV is working properly. Overall, this was a good experience

The guy at the front desk is truly as mean and arrogant as they come. I arrived at the property and didn’t have the security deposit so I said “I may have to cancel but I’ll have to call the third party booking company first.” So I leave and go do some work and about 40 mins later I was able to pay the security deposit. Dude said, “I canceled it and issued you a refund.” He contractually cannot cancel a reservation without approval. So dude was lying and then he tells me that it’s canceled and to get off his property. So I leave and call the t booking company and they called the desk to get approval to refund the reservation (which he said he already had done) and he tells them no! So this MF lied about canceling my reservation, refused to honor it, then tried to keep my money by denying the refund. He was so rude.Dont waste your time with these people. They’re incompetent and the place is a dump.

Very nice people. The owners try to work with you. Was in a tough spot having just had a house fire. The owners worked with me to accommodate my family. Would definitely recommend to anybody to stay there.

This hotel was very quaint. Very basic but so quiet. The water pressure was fantastic and the bed slept very comfortably. The lady in the office was very friendly. We ordered doordash and they delivered to us No problem. We will definitely stay here again.

Dirty sheets and comfortor, looks like its been sprayed with feebreze over and over, follors have tiny gravel and dirt all over them. The room is extra small and the bathroom was disgusting. Public hair on the toilet rim, beard trimmings in the sink, toothpaste on the mirror, the room smells like sweaty construction worker and electrical fires. There is a gap under the room door that allows air into the room and bugs. The lamp near the bar desk does not work, its not the bulb. I tried moving a working bulb to it to have light and checked the plug, the lamp simply doesnt work. I checked in and my reservations from priceline had not shown up so I had to stand in the lobby as the manager tried to fix the reservations even with a confirmation number and forwarding the receipt and confirmation email to him to finally get my room. Before I could check in I still needed to give them my credit card so they had a card on file and they double charged for my room on the card needed on file. I have paid for a single room 3 times for 1 night and the manager refuses to refund the extra charges. Avoid this drug den. It is not worth the money you pay for it or the bugs that litters the room.

The person working the office was rude and ignorant. He was cussing at me, telling me to Get off the Fing property... Several times. then decide to threaten me. Not only will i never be back i will be sure to let everyone i can to avoid this hotel. not worth it...not to mention the poor state of repair. some work has been done, but there are still lots of issues. TV didnt work...just old and run down. Its a shame, that is a really convenient location...but after being talked to the way i was...i wont be back.

Never even got inside he said $100 deposit you get tomorrow. I dont recall reading that when I wad ready everything, but I didnt have it on that card, no worries I told him I can fix it in my car, too bad he followed me and my bf to say he canceled on us and we need to leaveEdit after his lovely response, I was actually nothing but polite amd kind, I even complimented his bird to he shrugged me off, nbd, bit calling me a racist and making fun of ppl w disabilities? I came here today after my sister booked a room online for my mom. i arrived and was clearly upset, where this woman is staring at me from the office. i’m standing there, and i’m on the phone with my sister. i go in and i finally check in and am told my moms reservation is for two weeks from today. i was confused, but no big deal. my sister goes back and fixes it, after which she’s charged a SECOND time. i tell her we should be all good now, and she rudely says “how are you going to pay” so i said it’s already paid for? since IT QUITE LITERALLY WAS. she gets all rude and starts acting like i don’t have the money for this place or the deposit. so i said it seems like the trashiest hotels need a hundred dollar deposit and she freaked out and came out from the office and screamed at me and my mom to get out. i left, WILLINGLY. this place is gross. smells bad. bugs. my mom stayed here a couple weeks ago with no issue. the owners seem to be very rude, backhanded people.

The owner accommodated myself and my small dog without any trouble. I would stay there again if I needed to. The place was relatively clean and I felt pretty safe. Like I said, I would stay there if I needed to again.

Quoted guy on the phone the price online he said cool go somewhere else. lol wow. First time I’ve had a front desk person at a hotel go somewhere else and I hope that’s exactly what other people do when they see this review

Very nice customer service, clean rooms. Older hotel but quaint. Parking right outside the your door was nice.

So I called earlier in the day spoke with the male owner to see if he could match the price on kayak which he could not so I told him that I would just book online and he said ok no problem so I booked for 2 nights nonrefundable because I wasnt expecting to need a refund. When I got there to check in I spoke with his wife. He asked me if I was the guy who called earlier. I replied yes. He spoke to his wife in their language and then she proceeded to tell me they have no rooms I need to call booking agent and get a refund. I was astounded. Later on I had someone call to see if they had rooms available. She was told they have many rooms and started asking how many nights and pets blah blah blah. So they lied to me. If I dont get my refund I was told by the local North Lima police that I would be able to file a civil lawsuit which I will do.

This hotel was the best place that I have ever stayed at. The staff was very nice and pleasant and always there when we needed anything.They always keep are room clean. I would highly recommend any family or friends to stay here.

OYO is a great stay especially for blue collar guys. Reasonable prices and parking space for your work vehicle. The staff are very friendly and always have your best interest. They will even hold packages for you should you need to have something ordered. Also pets are allowed of all kinds and the front desk guy is a hell of a gentleman. Completely recommend this place.

After being accused of being not only mentally ill, but also rude and racist, my card declined and I said no worries lemme transfer money in my car real quick as soon as I got to my car he followed with, we’ve canceled your room and leave the property

Booked a king bed smoking room a week ahead of time. Arrived to check in right around check in time and we were told our room is not available by the guy at the front counter. He said he only has a double bed smoking room..my husband and I figured it would be easier than trying to find somewhere else to stay so we said that would be fine but do we get any sort of discount since its not the room we booked a week ago? Guy at the counter said no I cant do anything but you can cancel so thats what we did and stayed somewhere else. Luckily a hotel right down the road was available with way friendlier staff and an even cheaper rate. I wouldnt give that guy or this hotel my money. Hes probably the owner which is sad, but if he isnt then the owner should fire him because his customer service is atrocious. Id rather sleep in my car.

Absolutely the best motel for the price the owners are very accommodating rooms are clean they go out of their way to get what you need we travel all the time for work this is by far the nicest people you will ever meet great place and will return

The owner was super sweet and accommodating. As far as cheap hotels go, this is the best one Ive ever been to. It was clean, everything worked properly. The shower was super nice.I was there with my toddler and the owner and his wife graciously allowed my boy to play on their little trampoline, and with the kids bikes and scooters. He made a point to ask about our comfort and ensure we were properly supplied anytime he saw us.I would absolutely stay here again.

Booked a stay online(the owner/manager is crazy I dont know if he is on drugs or has some sort of a mental problem but i was screamed at and threatened by the owner/manager)he asked me if I had any pets I said I have a service animal . he then tells me he cant give me a room . I said I have a disability sir my dog is a service animal and you realize that you cant refuse someone with disability a room . he then started screaming at me. i tried tell him again. that he is discriminating at me someone with a disability and that it is against the law to refuse someone with a disability has a service animal a room . he continued to raise his voice at me tell me how he has the right to refuse service to anyone .(at the same time as hes yelling at me hes telling me to calm down . Even though I never raised my voice one time). I was then screamed at and told to get off the property . . they have a camera in their office all this is recorded on .to the owner/managerIve already filed a official complaint civil rights division . and Im going to be getting a attorney .awful that you would treat anyone that way even if they have a disability or not

Clean rooms! Nothing fancy, but had exactly what we needed. A bed, a/c, bathroom with a nicely tiled shower, tv, fridge, microwave, table and chairs. It was perfect for what we needed while in town for a softball tournament. We were fortunate to talk to the owner and he and his family are super friendly and only want to make sure you have everything you need and are happy with your stay. They have done all the work themselves and have done a very nice job!! If we are ever in need of a hotel in this area again we will be sure to come back. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you so much!!

The Hotel room was clean. Decor was as expected for the price. My only concern was room security. The room door had no deadbolt, and the security chain was missing. Only the keyed doorknob prevented unauthorized entry. I placed a drink can between the doorknob and the door frame so the can would fall and wake us if entry was attempted. Fortunately, no attempt was made.

The man behind the counter is very obnoxious. He yelled at us for no reason. He said we cldnt stay on his property and was going to give us no refund because he didnt like the looks of us. We are two grown adults who work very hard. We were dressed nicely and had our 14 year old daughter with us. There was no reason for him to act like that and we will never come back ever.

We had a great stay. The room we were in was pretty comfortable for the price point. The owners are hands on in the good way. Kind friendly people.It was obvious that the owners take pride in their cleanliness. The beds are comfortable. All in all it was a great nights sleep. Even the dog was happy.It was pretty quiet as well. Theres some traffic noise in the morning but didnt wake the light sleeper I was traveling with.Only wish I had was for a sturdier blanket but thats something I wish for every hotel room.

The hotel room as well as the entire property was disgusting. We had to call to make a reservation, they attempted to text a payment link, then emailed it. While I was on the phone they made us send payment, then said they didn’t receive it. They upcharged by more then 50% for the room from what was listed on there website due to weather and everyone needing rooms. I was charged a different amount that was quoted on the phone once I got to the property. The rooms were so disgusting. We were in room 107, the ceiling was falling(an actual hole in the ceiling) the bathroom had a nice shower, but the rest was dirty and old. Both beds have a metal sheeting around the underneath and made a very loud popping noise every time you moved on them, there were bugs all over the window sill, and the smell was absolutely horrible. This wasn’t even one of those mistakes you make by saying you get what you pay for, it was absolutely the most disgusting establishment we have ever stayed in. We travel quite often and this one property has definitely steered us away from ever staying at the brand again.

I was truly presently surprised on how immaculate the rooms were inside. Everything inside was new. The bathroom was totally awesome. Definitely a five-star room without the five-star price. The management was even better. Ron goes above and beyond to satisfy his clients. The comfort of feeling safe was present. Im at working traveling man so I stay in hotels regularly. For the price it doesnt get any better than this.

Ive never stayed in a motel before, but honestly I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I stayed here for a month while I was visiting my parents and Ron and Kimci treated me like family. They had the best attitudes and always provided me with whatever I needed. They accommodated my every request. My room was simple, clean, comfortable (for the price) and I never had a problem with AC or Heat. Overall it was an amazing stay!

We were nervous looking around for a nice spot to sleep 2 adults 4 kids for the night. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. When I came back for extra pillows (for the pull out couch) she said she will bring them over to our room. She right away brought extra blankets too just incase we needed them.Rooms are fixed up nicely especially for a older building. Bathroom shower very nice. I would recommend a good budget stay here!

Called on the early morning of Valentines day(2/14/23). The lady at the front desk either didn’t know how to do her job or was too lazy to. Even the company I booked through called the hotel location & she straight up wasn’t answering. Yet when I called she just kept repeating call the company I booked through, not the hotel location, despite ignoring their calls. She says they didn’t receive any emails a split second after I tell her the booking company sent the front desk an email due to them not answering the phone(easy to tell she didn’t bother to check). They also said they sent the info via fax machine, a split second after I say that she quickly says they have no fax machine(yet doesn’t offer any other ways for other BUSINESSES to contact the hotel). Customer service was terrible & she clearly intended to just stand at the front desk, not actually help anyone. She couldn’t even answer any questions about the hotels policy or direct me to where I can read it myself. Let the cleaners stick to their job & hire actual front desk attendants with experience cause that was a nightmare

My experience here was horrible. I never even made it to my room so i cannot speak on that but the service there was horrible. if i could give zero stars i would. check in was going fine until i mentioned i needed to check out a couple hours later than check out time. I am a traveling nurse, so my hours are crazy and I need to make sure i get enough sleep to make it through my shift. the lady at the desk had a complete attitude change from the moment i asked. for one, they would not accomodate this, so if you need to check out late, forget about it. second, if you arent going to accomodate this, that is fine but dont be comletely rude about it. she told me i didnt have to stay there and that i should get with the app where i made my reservation to get my money back. not having another reservation made and not being sure i could find another room on such short notice (it was 8pm) i took my key and went to my car and tried to process how nasty this lady was to me. I had read a review about how nasty the people who run this are, and i guess i should have listened to it. I went back in and returned my key and luckily was able to find another room. I do not recommend this place. if i could give negative stars i would.

Great rooms and they are very friendly and welcoming

I have enjoyed my stay at OYO. It is run by a family and they are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are very accommodating. If you ever need anything they are right there to take care of any of your concerns. My boyfriend, myself and our daughter have had a nice room to stay comfortably in. A nice king size bed with a pull out couch and a walk in shower. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. They do not bombard you with a knock on your door every morning. Some people like that but my boyfriend works nights so it has been very nice for him to be able to get uninterrupted sleep. If we ever need anything for our room we just go up to the front desk to ask day or night. They are lovely people who take care of their property and care for those staying at their hotel. The price is very affordable which is amazing as well. We are right by the highway and have only a short drive to get to anywhere that we need to go. I would highly recommend you check them out! If you want a stay where you will have people who will care about you, a comfortable and clean stay, and not feel like youre draining your bank account just for a week then come check them out! You wont regret it!

The man at the counter is very rude. There was no soap only one towel . He took a 50 dollar deposit said it was just a hold on my card and it would be released immediately. I waited a few hours and went back to ask about the deposit and he got so angry and shook his head yelling at me I def would not recommend this place. The guy at the front is a jerk .

Nice clean rooms friendly staff

This is a great place to stay. The husband and wife who run the place make your stay as comfortable as possible. Ive stayed here for 4 months for work. Great customer service and great rooms and walk in shower. And washer and dryer here as well. If Im ever back in the area will surely stay here again. Great people and thanks again for your hospitality.

I rolled in pretty late but one of the owners was at the desk. As a small business owner now, I admire that commitment.I found the room simple but comfortable: there was a walk-in shower with plenty of hot water and strong WiFi and the sheets were clean and the bed comfortable.Some earlier reviews had mentioned noisy locals having parties but that problem was not on-location the Friday night I was there. The only ambient noise my sleep monitor picked up was my own snoring and I slept as well as I do at home. If you have a threshold higher than that for the price OYO charges, youre a hard customer to please....

The room was fine, everything was clean and in order. It had a microwave and a refrigerator that was very cold. The bed was comfortable and clean. The owner is a great guy. He will help you with anything you need, and he is a pleasure to talk with. All in all a great motel with great people. Great prices too.

The man behind the counter is very rude, he needs to do better for customer service, the rooms are disgusting, cigarette smell once you opened the door, bugs all over the bathroom floor, just the worse of the worse , AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST! Don’t do business with them . There are better budget friendly options out there.

Horribly rude. From beginning to end. I have never experienced treatment like this @ a hotel. Edit: The check out process was even worse. Not only did they wake me up @10 when check out is 11 but they were also waiting at the door and rushing us to leave. After checking out they were both very rude about giving my money back despite there being nothing wrong with the room. If you forget something in the fridge or leave the TV or AC on they will take your deposit. You get what you pay for so good luck if you decide to stay here.

Got stranded in the area during a road trip and got a room right away. Nice family run business with friendly staff. No issues with having our large dog. Room was clean, had a fridge, microwave, tv, and parking out front of our room. Felt safe and bed was comfy. Couldn’t get the air to turn on but the manager immediately fixed it as the reset button just needed to be flipped. He was super apologetic even though he really didn’t have to be. No frills but great value and perfect for our overnight stay. Thank you!

Wow. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My friend was looking for a place to stay so he called OYO. He was assured on the phone they had a room available and ready. I drove him there and went in to sign him in. I was then asked why he wasnt coming in to which I replied that he was disabled and I didnt want him to have to walk any more than he had to. I was then told that he could not have a room rented to him because he was disabled and could not walk like normal people. I was taken aback and explained to the woman that this was against the Americans with Disablities act, and that disabled people can decide whether or not a room is suitable to their needs. The woman began arguing with me when finally I just replied that this policy was terrible, and I would file a complaint, as I walked out and got in the car. I was in the process of driving out of the parking lot when a man, who said he was the owner, walked up to my vehicle and started screaming like a wild sandstorm. I tried to nicely explain that it was against ADA. First, he lied, and said no rooms were available (however there were 5 mins before we got there), second, he threatened to call the police if we didnt leave his property (umm, we were in the process of driving when you chased us down, genius), and third, he called us junkies, which is hilarious because I do healthcare and nursing school and have NEVER failed a drug test. Neither has my friend. The man was a raging lunatic and if you look at the replies to anyone who dares say a bad thing about his attitude, you can get a feel for exactly what I mean by this mans attitude and unprofessionalism towards people.UPDATE: I dont stay at hotels for free! I OWN MY HOUSE IN NORTH LIMA AND ITS PAID OFF. ITS PUBLIC INFORMATION ON THE AUDITORS WEBSITE!

It was good enough for a $50 room. Scratchy towels and I had to go to the front desk and ask for more toilet paper as mine was basically gone. But you get what you pay for. It was a nice, quiet, warm, clean place to stay for one night while in town for a funeral.

The good:So the pricing was great, the owners are super nice and will work with you if you need anything. The rooms have plenty of outlets for charging stuff. The water is always hot which is a plus.The not so good:The mattresses are on metal beds so getting on and off sounds like someone kicking sheet metal. The bathrooms have no curtains but the windows are frosted so no one can see you but still. Then lastly no breakfast of any kind.The location is also great up the road is the mall, and then the main road past the mall has tons of places to eat and shop at.If you need to stay for awhile I would definitely recommend.

I’m here now, like Chris, but have enjoyed everything so far. People outside arent really that loud & that really doesn’t have anything to do with the quality of the hotel.Most of the reviews are good, but I chose to stay here because the price is really low, and with that I know that it’s obviously not going to be a genuine five “star” hotel experience. It looked very nice in terms of the value you are getting.Totally worth saving the money!Also, the owner is hilarious. That dude is awesome!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We realized after we left that we may have lost a diamond earring in the room and we were hours out of town already. The owner personally looked for our lost item and found it in one of the multiple trash bags he searched through for us. He really went above and beyond for his customer.

Quick and easy check-in after midnight, very clean rooms, thicker walls good for noise reduction 😉, convenient microwave, mini-fridge, and TV, super cozy linens and pillows, love the bathroom shower! Wish the window opened in the bathroom, I think its supposed to maybe 14 was jammed? Im used to 4 pillows on the bed just to mention and there was a cigarette burn on the sheet in no smoking room? Smell was good though! I was satisfied and well rested, good energy!

Great Find! This is my second stay at this hotel/motel located at the halfway point from VA to MI. I found it by searching google looking for an inexpensive place with decent reviews. It surpassed my expectations, so Im adding to the reviews!Its a 60s - 70s style, park in front of your room motel that has been partially renovated with freshly painted walls, new carpeting, beds, and bath. The furniture is a holdover, but everything is clean. Includes a mini fridge and a microwave, that are both clean as well. TV too. Unassuming exterior that is well lit. Both times Ive checked in after midnight and the manager, Roshon, greeted me as a welcome guest, not bothered that its late. I highly recommend this place as a restful stop on your travels. I rate the rooms as 5 stars for what you get for the price. It is just a motel after all. ;-)

This place is great for the price. The first room we got wasnt non-smoking, so we asked to switch to a non-smoking room, and the staff was very accommodating. Our new room was clean, smelled good and was comfortable. Also, the shower has excellent water pressure and we didnt have to wait for it to warm up.

Manager Ron was amazing. Very friendly and personable. He went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed. He and his mother are working as a great team right now. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Safe, clean and rates are great.

Kind of a weird location; not much around, motel very old and outdated, backed up to wooded area. Parking lot dark & empty except for one car and a small childs trampoline?? Lady at check in was fine. Once in room, stink bugs and some other unidentified bug. Someone elses hair and what looked like smeared American cheese on covers. Shower was newly tiled, but looked strange adjacent to the dirty/moldy window with frosted glass. Room needed to be painted and needed a DEEP cleaning. I left at 3am because I just couldnt get comfortable enough to sleep. You get what you pay for I guess, but if thats the case, I should have stayed for free.

The room was comfortable, and clean. Staff was very nice! Reasonable place to stay. I would recommend it! Had a nice quiet week long stay here. The shower was very nice, good water pressure.

Had a room booked for 2 days. Got a cancellation notice and I called the hotel to find out why. Said there was no rooms available. Yet I go to the website and I can book the same room. Maybe because I booked at a much cheaper rate and they didnt want to honor it? Regardless...I wont ever use them in the future. Will stay with a tried and true hotel chain.

Checking in was easy and owner was very friendly considering I checked in around 1-2am. The room was very clean and cozy. I also had luggages on top of my car so safety is top priority for me and this place is an absolute gem. The owner being very friendly sets the tone and environment of this hotel. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent place me and my friends were looking for a place for several hours and got here. The owners kept a nice clean room and were extremely welcoming. Right on our checkout time they got me and a friend to play a practical joke on our buddy. Great owners and awesome sense of humor.

I have been here since December 2nd. They owners are very accommodating and friendly. Was always there when I needed them. I got a great rate for extended stay. I will be here until March 1st. I would recommend then to anyone. Clean rooms wdlk in shower. Microwave and compact refrigerator. Pet friendly. Close to Boardman and grocery stores. I love it here very comfortable.

This motel had everything I needed for an overnight stop to sleep during a long drive. It is no frills, but the shower is GREAT — big walk-in shower with strong water pressure — and the room was very clean, with fridge and microwave, for under $60. It’s a nice family-run business.

Finding OYO was the best thing that could’ve happen to us. We were driving all the way from NY super tired when we arrived at 2am, the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were super clean, the bathroom was cleaner that everywhere I’ve ever been to, and that shower pressure was something else. 100% would recommend and come back again!!!

If you can avoid staying here , DO IT AT ALL COST , drive more down to the Youngstown or spend a little more to stay at the quality inn just in front , cigarette smell once you open the door, filthy as it can be, cigarette holes in the sheets, overall the worse budget friendly hotel you could stay . The manager is very rude , doesn’t have any customer service skills . Just avoid this hotel please .

Reserved a room for two nights for the weekend. Paid for it online. When I went to check in they wanted a deposit and were super rude about it. Nothing was mentioned about a deposit so I didn’t have it on me. So I left ended up getting the deposit and they were more rude and disrespectful the second time and would not refund my money or give me a room. They treated me terribly and took my money without me getting my room. I will never recommend them to anyone. They need to go back to their home country if they can be respectful.

One of the best place we ever stay ,nice clean and quite ,ron is best person running this place. if you have book room for your working crew this is beat place .don’t use any other side just call motel and ask for ron he will take care what you and your crew need

Was a little rough at first with the people next to us, but the owner, Ron was absolutely amazing. He took wonderful care of us. People next to us were leaning on my car and when I told Ron about it he moved his car so I could park mine away from them. Truly cant thank him enough. We will be back simply because of how he treated us. Thank you Ron.

Sold my rooms out from under me on a holiday weekend. No notice given. Drove 16 hours left with no rooms and told the reason was because they didn’t like what I paid and could get a better price.Edit: no, whoever made the decision to cancel never noticed the booking site.

I ended up getting refunded from expedia, as the hotel could not find my reservation, even with expedia on the phone with them. Cost me 30 extra bucks to re-rent the rooms directly through the hotel, but whatever. The hotel is nothing to admire from the outside, but the room itself was ok. It is an older hotel, but the rooms have had some updating. Shower was very nice. In all, if you are looking for lots of bells and whistles, or expecting a four star hotel at a one star price, you should look elsewhere. This is a decent bed at a cheap price, and it serves that purpose just fine

Under NO circumstances would l EVER recommend this hotel. Staff was hateful and rude. I asked for a room close to where l could park my truck. He said no king rooms. I asked for a double.....he closes his eyes for like 2 mins lookin away and said. Let me make this clear. You park way over there and walk way over there. I told him we both were on disability and have a hard time walking on ice and snow. He then said you go somewhere else. I dont want your kind here. I explained that weve been traveling since 630am and its midnight. He said l dont care. You go. He didnt care about our disability, how tired we were or a customer at all. Then l heard that he kicked out over weight people because they might break the furniture. All l can say is stay away. Right across the street is Quality Inn. Good rates, hot breakfast and super nice staff.

I stayed there a few weeks! Staff was friendly and helpful. Was within minutes of anything needed gas, fast food, convienient store. Quiet atmosphere! Best rates in town for nightly and weekly stays! Privacy was a plus for do not disturb days! Right off of 76 turnpike on route 7

October 28, 22. Booked 2 rooms@ Oyo hotel 9955 Market Street North Lima Ohio. Upon Arrival Ron the proprietor took our IDs & entered our 411 N2 the Computer; all the while asking Questions repeatedly. . .such as, do U smoke? How many people 2 a room? How many people are with U? When I answered His Questions He would He would ask them Again. I Told him there Were going 2B 3 people in 1 room & 1 in the other. We are a party of 4. He told me that he couldnt Allow that. When asked couldnt Allow what? He replied. . 3 to a room. Its only a King Size Bed. He Knew He had no intention of giving us those rooms Yet He took our 411& booked us N2 A Rooms He Refused 2 Give Us. Thats Not The Half of it. . . The rooms we Booked were listed as having 2 beds per room. THATS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!?!

Very newly renovated rooms. Clean and quiet. Owner caught someone picking up my wallet in the middle of the night, confronted him, and gave it back to me. Secure! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing couple who owns the motel, friendly the entire time and incredibly helpful to our situation of last minute booking. On our way out played a practical joke on all of us and had us laughing for half an hour, awesome service and the rooms are very cleanly.10/10 would stay here anytime I’m here.

The room was a bit small but comfy, they also came around on Saturday with food they had grilled due to the weather being nice. Location is perfect for dining

The rooms are good for the price but they ask for a deposit of 50dlls, I and my 11-year-old son stayed, the person who attended gave me some mistrust, there were only 2 cars and he gave me a room very hidden in the background, an astro van And the garbage container in front, I asked him for another room, obviously since my car didnt fit there either and he told me that I could park it wherever I wanted since as I said there were no guests but I insisted since I booked this type of hotel because I like to have easy and fast access to my car. An also he late almost 30 minutes to give me the key, lets see if there is no problem to give me the deposit tomorrow.

After seeing they were pet friendly on their website I booked a single room for one night. Just to be doubly sure there wouldnt be any problems I called their nation wide number to confirm they accepted cats.The customer service representative assured me that cats were okay and that Id be charged $10 additional for the cat.When I got there, the reception employee (manager/owner?) denied my booking when I told him I had the cat. I asked them to contact the nationwide number and offered them my confirmation number but they refused, telling me to go away we dont need your business . They never offered to help in any way even though I am a senior citizen and I explained that Id been on the road for 8 hours and could not drive in the dark. I was shocked by this mans behavior and lack of manners.I tried for 29 minutes to reach a service rep. on the national# without success. Meanwhile the employee repeatedly told me to get out of their small waiting area and threatened to call the police. When the police arrived (yes, they actually called !) One of the officers helped me find a nearby place that accepted cats.Ive never experienced such a complete lack of professionalism from ANY other chain. I wish I could give them a zero but thats not an option. Needless to say they definitely will NOT be getting my future business!

I drove 15 minutes out of my way for a room here. Prices are twice as much as advertised. When I expressed some confusion at this theater quickly dismissed me and told me he would not be renting a room to me. Very rude I would find someplace else.

I stayed two times long term for work. Owners will go out of their way to help you. Very clean rooms , bathrooms newly remodeled. I will definitely stay here if I’m ever back this way again.

We stayed at the Bugdet Inn. The rooms were clean and nice. It was a quiet place to sleep. The owners are making changes to the motel making it look nicer. They were very friendly and helpful to us during our stay. We definitely be back to stay.

Not pet friendly in that they threaten to keep your deposit if your dog jumps on the bed. There was a bug on the bed upon arrival as well. Hope they improve.

Stayed there over a week with work crew. owner goes above and beyond to accommodate you and works with you on weekly rates. definitely would recommend this place to anyone working in area or that just needs a affordable place to stay

I was driving to Pittsburgh, and felt really sleepy on the road. The hotel across the street was a little too busy, and I just need to sleep for a few hours. The nice lady at the desk took me in, and the room was surprisingly clean.

Im giving it 4 stars. Why? Because its $38.00 for two people. We got here at 4 AM, asked for a two hour check out extension and they happily accommodated us. Larger than normal fridge, microwave and a TV....older model but who cares. When I turned it on, FOX NEW WAS THERE. Nothing fancy and a comfy bed.

Very basic old road hotel. You get what you pay. It worked for us to just spent a night during a road trip. Everything was clean.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would, I’ve been here twice on two separate occasions and he has refused me service on both occasions after I’ve already paid leaving me stranded for the night… Once because it was busy and he was getting offers for rooms for more than what I paid for, and the second time he refused me because of my service animals because there was no hardwood floors available he’s rude And ignorant and I won’t give him another second of my time or a dime of my money

I give no stars as they took our money and would not give it back and tried to make us pay extra for our kids. Will not recommend to anyone not even my worst enemy. We traveled over 3 hours and got ripped off.

We are traveling for work and our car broke down and our boss book room for us but the problem was we cant get can or uber so we some how manage to charge our phone and call hotel and owner come In person van and pick us and drop where our vehicles was like 10 miles far ,give us great room and room was very very clean and shower water pressure was something else ,if any o e like to stay this hotel please stay its worth every single cents

I just called to reserve a room the gentleman told me $259 worth of text I told him I had a pet the man that answered the phone told me $500 I said but you just quoted me $259 he said 500 if I dont like it find somewhere else dont call his hotel anymore please do not reserve this place because hes foreign people are very nasty nasty and dont even need to be apart of the United States if they want to treat American citizens like where the problem do not rent a room from this foreign country place this is not appropriate very nasty customer service when I called back he hung up on me twice and told me dont call him back he is not renting any rooms very inappropriate

Its in Boardman its a dump it comes with HBO and the beds are really hard and it smelled bad the phone was off the hook I think so old to listening to me because the front was hidden in a dresser drawer off the hook the bathroom was like a hundred and ten degrees a refrigerator didnt work all the windows were welded shut just in case of a fire we would die some of the towels have yellow stains on them didnt look right the floor oh oh my God the floor you should have seen that oh my God looks like so bad Im being nice to give this place 3 stars
