This is my second time coming to both Becky (color) and Linda (cut and blow dry). Both times they’ve done an amazing job! Becky is really sweet and gave me the exact color I asked for. Linda is awesome. Gave me an awesome cut and style. I came in with something specific in mind and she listened, asked follow up questions and advised me. I ended up changing my plan a little based on her insight and I absolutely love the result. She also has a great personality and is fun to talk to. I highly recommend both these ladies.

I have been going to Mario Tricoci for years now because of their long-standing dedication to customer service and excellence. I highly recommend a relaxing, rejuvenating facial with Sasha (she is the best) as well as any wax services. All of their technicians are wonderful, however I have to say that Sasha is one of the most genuine, kindest people you will ever meet. If you book an appointment (given her many years of expertise and attention to detail) you will not be disappointed.
Had a great experience with Ivanna (for Balayage) and Kelley (for Haircut + Blowout) - both girls were really nice, professional and confident in their work! Loved my experience with both stylist, but only wish the salon itself was more welcoming.
If you go here for the spa, I would absolutely request Charlotte.. she was excellent! You have to book way in advance (she books up quick) My only negative which wasnt the biggest deal was at the end I waited around for 15 minutes to give her, her tip that she definitely deserved but only to find out that she left? Very strange.. I wasnt happy I waited around for so long. Otherwise, I would totally still go to this location and would still ask for Charlotte... she was that great!
Went in for a visit with Sasha (esthetician), at Oakbrook and was impressed at her excellent service techniques! Sasha was attentive, courteous and efficient. I highly recommend her if you are new to the waxing services. Will definitely be returning to see her again in the near future.
This place was easy to go through, I had my eyebrows and upper lip waxed and a haircut with a blow out. The total was about $140 and that’s including tax. I would recommend calling before going and know which address since there’s several locations. I booked last minute and there was a ton of openings Sunday afternoon.

I will never visit tricoci ever again. Ill keep paying a little more and go elsewhere. My experience here on 7/12/24 for myself and my out of town quest was horrible today. Our duo massages was for 1:15. Ill start by saying I was 4 minutes late. Soon as I arrived at the door upstairs we were rushed in and handed water by the massage ladies. I was taken back didnt have time to change. Immediately told us if booked at 1:15 it starts at 1:15...thats impossible you guys didnt have any time for us carved out to change our clothes. They rushed us in the room with the water no robes. Told us our time had started already. Im not taking anymore time to do this review because I will write 2 paragraphs. No waiting room experience, no email stating to arrive early because massages start at 1:15 which is crazy. How could you even have time to change ...then asked for manager she wanted to give a credit, no credit for me Ill never return here for me or tge people I know....Ill keep going to Aire baths, customer service is spectacular. Tricoci has changed a lot......it was horrible to much to write out. Gave us 20.00 off each and that wasnt enough...
I struggle with a lot of neck and back pain and have been getting massages regularly for as long as I can remember. I always have a hard time finding a masseuse that actually works to help my pain rather than just go through the motions…but then I found Tyler! He listens to my area of needs and actually works to relieve my tension in the troubled spots. It’s easy to tell that he knows what he is doing and he actually cares about making his clients feel better rather than just go through the motions and get the massage done. I highly recommend Tyler for your next massage!!
Honestly, a really disappointing first experience at the Oakbrook location. I have gone to the Geneva location for the last five years and have no complaints and they are very apparent with pricing. I went into the Oakbrook location for the first time thinking I was going to pay 140 for highlights as it said on the website for the technician That I chose. I get downstairs and it’s $175 and I asked why and it was for extra product and a treatment that I was not told about or asked. My hair is very thin so I’m confused what the “140” is for. the last five years at the Geneva location I walk out of there, paying 140 without tip. When I first got there, I was given 6 foils in my head and then had to wait 20 minutes in the chair for my technician to come back and finish the rest of the foils and I was worried it was going to be too long and my hair was going to start falling out. Not very enjoyable experience and will definitely be going back to Geneva.
After a terrible and humiliating experience at the location in Orland Park which left my hair damaged and unmanageable, I nearly completely gave up on the Tricoci brand. Out of convenience and not wanting to spend lots of time on finding another salon, I decided to give the Oak Brook location a chance. I am so happy that I did.DeBorah (stylist) is a life-saver! She represents Tricoci very well. Her level of service and expertise are both A+++. DeBorah is excellent at hair maintenance and hair styling. She is the blow-out queen. My hair is always silky, soft and manageable after DeBorah touches it. Deborah is punctual, and has a professional and positive attitude. She is a joy to be around, which is a huge plus. Her upbeat attitude shows that she enjoys what she does. Her hair product recommendations are spot on.Deborah is a versatile stylist. She understands and knows various textures of hair-- including Afro-textured hair. I was in search of a stylist who is well versed with 3B/3C textured hair and DeBorah KNOWS how to do all textures great!!Although the Oak Brook location is not as convenient for me as the Orland Park location; Oak Brook is definitely worth the extra 20 mins drive. Also, the Oak Brook location is clean and organized. I feel like Im getting a true full service salon experience, and what Im paying for. Hats off to management, as well!DeBorah restored my faith in the Tricoci brand. Im very happy with the Oak Brook location and even more-so relieved that I found a salon home thats relatively close to me.
It was my first time visiting the oak brook location I typically go to Orland. Was disappointed when I got home and looked at my hair. The shadow root does not match my natural color it look orange toned and it’s extended too far out making it appear as though I didn’t get my hair done. There are also choppy hard lines in the blonde it’s not blended, and some areas are missing blonde. Overall disappointed. My stylist was working on 2 other people thus causing her to do a poor job.
Tricoci has been a wonderful salon/spa experience for me. It hasn’t been perfect but even when it hasn’t been perfect, the staff at Tricoci have genuinely cared, apologized, and credited me back for the services I paid for that I did have a bad experience with. I found Tricoci through another Salon, they highly recommended Tricoci to me. I have done manicures, pedicures, massages, facials, scalp/hair treatments, and blowouts. I now consider myself a “regular” at this salon/spa. I plan to do body treatments soon too. Lupe has been my favorite hair stylist so far! She has done the best job at doing a blow out/hair style than any other hair stylist at any salon I have ever gone to has done. I will keep going back to have her do my hair every other week for as long as I live in the area! Victoria/Vicky did not do a good job with my nails twice, so I would not recommend her for nails. She first did a dip powder manicure for me. She wasn’t very friendly and my nails were peeling, cracking, and breaking the day after I got them done. I have never had that happen with dip powder nails. I went again to have her fix them and she ignored everything I said about how I wanted my nails done and ended up doing regular gel when that wasn’t what I asked for and made all the nails different sizes/shapes/lengths, there was bumps on my nail surface and they again starting breaking, peeling soon after. I spoke with the Tricoci staff and they got me a manager. The staff and manager were listening and understanding of what happened and credited my account for the full service. I will not be seeing Vicky/Victoria again and do not recommend her. Everyone else I have had has been wonderful and all the staff have been wonderful! I was thirsty in the lobby waiting for an Uber once and they ran up to get me an actual nice glass of water. Every time I call the salon, they have been friendly and gone above and beyond to help me. Margaret who has scheduled my appointments before is also really kind, patient, understanding, and has gone above and beyond to help me. Besides Victoria/Vicky, the nail tech, it has been a great experience and Lupe is exceptional at her job.
Booked an appointment with Lupe this past Saturday. She was the worst. Was 17 mins late. Very rude and condescending. She booked another client the same time as me and told the poor girl with wet hair that she will be only 5 mins with me. She rushedme out and burned my scalp twice with the level of heat she was using. She hurried me out in 10 mins.She made rude comments and accussed me of going to the same wedding as the other client, then shethought it was my wedding. After I showed my ring she asked what my husband does for a living. The 2times I asked her about products she made a funny face and acted like i couldnt afford it. lm one to tipvery nicely and I never had issues with Esme or other stylists. I dont want her to take asvantage of nice timid people like me. Dont waste your money here.
Celine is the queen she is so focused and incredibly friendly. She knows her stuff my hair was all one solid ugly disgusting color and she made it absolutely breathtaking Celine. Thank you so much.❤️❤️
I booked an appointment with DeBorah (I started going to her a few months ago and longtime Tricoci customer) but when I arrived, I was told she did not have time to cut my hair as the software booked appointments too close together. They found another stylist (had a funeral to go to), but I was given a bad haircut - white-walled my ears. For $50 for a 30 min mans haircut, I would expect more....poor scheduling, poor customer service, and a poor haircut. I will find another place for my family....
I gotta say this is unacceptable I am a client of this salon for 20 some years and today.I have my hair color today And I saw that there is no assistance to wash the my hair So my colorist She does amazing job the best !!! but she has to step down to wash somebody else hair at the same time when she was doing mine ...I think this is unacceptable and a salon like this Service is going down when the prices are going up!!! I remember how great the salon was ten years ago there were serving a coffee when you had your hair gone This is really sad 😔 And desperate the salon needs updates
Kari Lynn is by far the most amazing esthetician I’ve ever had work on me. I was so sad when I moved out of state and could no longer see her. However her having Monday availability is 100000% worth the 6 hour drive there and back to take a long weekend to have my waxing done by a professional who knows what they’re doing! Not only is she knowledgeable about my sensitive autoimmune riddled skin but she’s certified to work on clients who are receiving treatment for cancer.Her work and her personality are flawless, as are my eyebrows now.Thank you for the confidence boost Kari Lynn!! I cannot wait for my next long weekend so I can come back and see her!
As always had a great experience, Facial was relaxing , the aesthetician took time to discuss my issues and then made recommendations based on those issues. The ambiance of Spa is relaxing and comfortable.
I haven’t had a bad experience at TRICOCI but Lupe went above and beyond my expectations. I have super fine hair and she did an amazing job with my cut and style. She even gave me tips on how to blow dry my hair for more volume. I walked out of there confident and excited for my new style.
I really like Oak Brook location. Kenny is a senior stylist, beautiful technique, I love his work. Lexi is also amazing though I’m not sure if she is still with Tricoci. Always feel great after I see them.
One of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences ever. I have been a customer for well over 10 years and will never go anywhere else. Everyone is so accommodating, but by far, my favorite stylist is Mandy! She is such a beautiful and confident woman. She makes me feel beautiful every single time she cuts/styles my hair. She’s also the only person who has cut my hair for as long as I’ve been a customer. She even did my hair for my wedding. Love her so much!
I went back thinking that the hairstylists have changed for the better, but they kept my record. Along time ago I had a stylist who decided to cut my hair into a little girls Bob instead of what I asked for, I went back because I wasn’t happy.. left because she started to cut it even shorter. Thought another Mario salon would fix it.. and they gave me a razor cut and bleached my hair so white. Well they keep records…. and after alll those years I went back and found Dom’ who is amazing at color but every single haircut is a butchered mess and they know it.. very vindictive, especially since I forgiven them. Not professional
I came here for my birthday, and it was 9 of us in total coming to get services done. Initially there was an issue with the bookings and services. Names were wrong, and some of the right services weren’t for the right people. Even my 80 minute massage got cancelled lol! After speaking with Crystal from management she was so sweet, pro and truly amazing. She took care of everything and made sure I had my 80 minute massage back!Secondly, the ambience was amazing. The employees are very sweet, welcoming, and attentive! I booked a 80 minute Tricoci Exclusive Massage with Alberta. That lady was truly a sweetheart. Her presence was welcoming, she was truly a gentle person with a lovely spirit.I also booked a Tricoci Exclusive pedicure. Sonya was my tech and she was very friendly, and did a great job on my pedicure. There were issues with the hot water so it was unfortunate I couldn’t get hot water when my feet was soaking but that didn’t ruin anything. I didn’t complain about it but the manager Rene offered a generous discount and the staff actively tried to fix the problem. Whenever I am in this area again I will return.
Had a haircut last week with Linda @ oakbrook Tricoci and was disappointed. She is the worst, never book with her!!! I am not sure if she is hairdresser or not that the way she was holding hair while cutting it like she felt disgusted. It Was horrible.. I often go to Tricoci but never experience like so disappointed!!!
I have been to this spa a few times and have always enjoyed my experience. When I was gifted a gift certificate, I decided to use it for a haircut. I booked an appointment with Lupe and it was such a wonderful experience. Lupe took her time with my appointment and she gave me some advice on how to best care for and style my hair type. She was fun to talk to and she gave me guidance on Tricoci products for my hair. Haircuts always look great as soon as you get them done, so the real test came when I washed my hair. I was so pleased with the results. I have naturally curly hair, but I had not seen my hair curl so beautifully as it did after this cut. If you are thinking about a cut and dont know who to pick from the long list of stylists, go with Lupe! She is worth it.
For my haircut I booked with Lupe and she did a beautiful job! I got layers and a face frame, and I was very happy with the end result. I recommend anyone unsure of who to book with to choose Lupe. She also recommended a keratin treatment for my hair to become stronger, which I will be booking in the future.
Rushed through my service and then double charged my card. 😐 paying over 100$ for the fastest salon experience? How am I supposed to relax if it’s being rushed.
I recently got a haircut that I absolutely loved. Mandy listened to my needs and gave me exactly what I asked for, but added her own personal touch to make it better than I could have imagined. The layers were perfectly blended and the length was exactly what I wanted. She took her time with the cut and paid attention to every detail, ensuring that the end result was just what I wanted. The styling was amazing, and it held up throughout the day. I received numerous compliments on my hair, and I felt confident and beautiful. Mandy is a real artist with a pair of scissors – I always leave her chair feeling completely satisfied with the results. Her expertise and talent never ceases to amaze me and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding haircut. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my new haircut and will definitely be returning to Mandy!
This salon is AMAZING!!! Me and 7 of my family members came to get our hair done for a wedding, one updo and 6 blowouts. Most of us with different stylists, all CONSISTENTLY great! Not only did all our hair look great, but these ladies work FAST. My sister was done within 30 min, that included the time it took to wash her hair and it was one of the best blowouts I’d ever seen! My mom also brought in a headpiece and clip on hair extensions to put into her hair for the wedding and while they typically dont do extensions a customer brings in because they usually custom order that in advance, they made an exception for my mother which I can’t be thankful for enough! I wish they had this chain in Massachusetts where I live cuz I have not seen a place as great as this in all that I’ve visited around my area.Particular shoutout to Dana who did my updo! It was an Indian wedding so I had a jewelry piece that would go in my hair and dangle over my forehead and she was able to attach the difficult piece to my hair where it stayed all night. And with how heavy the jewelry piece was she still managed to give me a do with volume that still gave me what I was looking for when I showed her a pic of what I wanted. After seeing how top notch the stylists are here, it’s making me think maybe I should switch salons and keep looking for anyone just as good in my area! Overall couldn’t have asked for better service.
This is the first time I took my twin daughters to get their eyebrows laminated. This is a photo of one of my daughters right after she was done. The fact that Nicolette thought its even acceptable to let someone out of the room looking like this is absurd!! I assumed that taking them to a reputable salon and paying high price ( $107 + $24 wax= $131) will get them great results they expected however this turned out to be a nightmare visit! My other twins eyebrows were done by Sasha who did an ok job. I am extremely disappointed.
I enjoyed my 80 minute massage, I recommend requesting Ligota! (Hopefully spelling of name is correct). She was friendly and I felt very relaxed during the massage.

I was 15 min late to a facial appointment. Instead of shortening the facial.per my requestThey charged me $185, booked the wrong alfacial and did not shorten my facial.per my request. I do not recommend this place as they have terrible customer service! Very angry! 😡
I have been going to Suzie for close to a year and a half now. She is the BEST! Longest I have consistently gone to someone for my hair in a long time. I work my schedule around her availability! Anyone looking to check out Tricoci for the first time, give her a shot!
Do not let Gina do your hair!!!! She has made multiple different people’s hair fall out and will make snarky comments to you for no reason. Go to anyone but Gina, it’s sick that she gets away with this.
Made appointment for today with their general number. Raced to get there thinking how fortunate. Got there to find it was made for March 8th! Person at desk could only say sorry. No offer to look for later or tomorrow no accommodation. Just disappointing all the way around. Not likely to return based upon that encounter. Sad
Lupe did and updo for me back in September for a special occasion and she did such a wonderful job that I returned today for a haircut. She was amazing! She remembered me from my last visit and was so very pleasant and professional. She made some great recommendations to improve the look and health of my hair and the cut turned out beautifully. I couldn’t be happier. Looking forward to seeing Lupe again. The entire salon experience was excellent. Thanks to Lupe and the entire Tricoci team!
I know hairwashers/assistants probably dont get many reviews, but I had to leave this one. Star washed my hair after my color today. I have been coming to this location since I was in my 20s (Im in my 50s now!) and she by far has been the best I have had. She was so thorough and took care during the whole process of washing and putting toner in and really cared about what she was doing from start to end. If Star cares this much about doing the best job she can right now, I can imagine the amazing colorist she will be when she completes her training.Lauren is my regular colorist. Again I have been coming to this location for years. She has been the best by far who I have seen there and I am do happy to be regularly going to her now. She has so much expertise and insight on what color/process will be the best for me, gives great suggestions accordingly, and I have been so happy with my color each and every time with her. She also does not add extra charges (like for extra dye) without explaining them beforehand (which has happened to me in the past unfortunately), so I have a lot of trust in her.Overall, I had a great experience again there today and loving my color!
I had a 50-minute relaxation massage with Mirek at the Oak Brook location on a Sunday afternoon. Mirek is one of the best, if not the best, massage therapists Ive been to worldwide. I have nothing but praise for Mirek.Not so for the rest of the salon. The salon didnt appear to be busy. The receptionist on the first floor told me to go upstairs, and shed be up to help me in a minute . 10 minutes later, when it was my appointment time, I had to ask another employee walking by to show me where to go, etc.After the service, the staff at the checkout desk was impatient and rushed.
I have been a loyal customer to this salon for well over 20 years with not 1 no show on my record and they want to charge me a no show fee for an appointment I did not make or confirm. The manager Krystal is very unprofessional and accusatory. I will be looking for a new salon after 20 years of loyal patronage. Very unfortunate.
I have been seeing Mandy for my cut, styling, and vital shot for years! She is amazing with my crazy curly hair and is always helpful when giving any suggestions. I even go to her when I need advice on coloring! She helps me to make sure my hair stays healthy but still get the look I want. She is truly the hair queen!!
Friendless and even courtesy of staff has changed. I usually like to see the positive in businesses and review on that, but Ive been coming to Mario for a very long time and staff used to be very accommodating and kind, now that is a little less than before. Quality of service is still amazing, but Id like to feel more welcome especially at front desk. I mean for what were paying i think we deserve it!

We were there celebrating my birthday and sweetest day with some friends. Jasmine was friendly, professional, and helpful in selecting our meals. She made sure that our cocktails, appetizers and main meals were served in a timely manner! Ive been getting my hair cut by Lupe for about nine years & shes always done great work! She has also done amazing Keratin treatments for several of my family members and they have all raved about how she has helped them on their healthy hair journey!
I was so excited to do my hair in this saloon. Vanessa did my hair, I showed her the first picture how I want my hair to be done and this is what I got. Nothing, thats my natural hair no difference at all. And at the end I had to pay for the service. Ridiculous, what service?? I left the saloon in tears. Never again
I had a great experience with Mandy. She listened to my preferences, gave me advice, and created a flattering style for me. Mandy made me feel comfortable, relaxed and pampered. I love how my hair looks and feels. I would definitely recommend Mandy to anyone looking for a talented and friendly stylist.

Ill start w saying the salon is beautiful, the staff were all very kind.My problem is w the service. I booked online. Booking haircut was simple. Booking color is not so much- they give you like 4 options & its hard to pick anything outside of highlights or a touch up.Day of appt, my colorist informs me w how I booked there isnt time for what I want done & for my haircut so its either or. Whatever- it happens. I reschedule my color for the following week.Day of rescheduled appt, I get a call 7am, my colorist is out sick (completely diff person) can I reschedule, again for the following week, w I assumed the same person as I was supposed to get that week. Apparently it wasnt as she was completely out & I was put w another colorist- I had no clue until I got the next call.Week of re-rescheduled appt, I get yet another call, something came up & my colorist cant keep the appt, can we reschedule?At this point Im done, my original appt was 10/15, its end of October & I have yet been able to get my hair done.I tell the lady who called me, you know you can just cancel my appt, this is the 3rd time Ive been rescheduled, im done. She asks if im sure, I say yes im sure please cancel & she just plain hangs up on me.Ive seen tons of bad reviews & I was hoping to leave a good one. Unfortunately I was unable to do that. Extremely disappointed.
I bought my mom a gift certificate for here. She decided to get her nails done and the staff was so rude. To top it off, her no-chip manicure peeled in 3 days. She let the manager know and they told her that they dont guarantee their service. Even the cheapest nail salons take better care of their clients. I will never go here or support them.
Mandy is an all star. Shes always attentive and trying to provide the best service. She is also very informative about products for my hair type. She has been my go to for cuts and styling for years now.
Visited the Oakbrook branch for the first time today and i won’t lie but i was skeptical at first because i was 17mins late to my appointment (thanks to the parking issues and traffic in the area) but the service was great! From the time i walked in till i walked out - everything was smooth and i was taken care of really well.I booked a haircut with the first stylist who was available and was assigned to Esther. I wasn’t sure of the kinda cut i wanted but i showed her a few images and she consulted me as to what would suit my face the best. We had a pleasant conversation throughout and i was extremely happy with the results.I would highly recommend booking with Esther as i would do the same again :)
Zero star!! Worst salon experience ever! I was repeatedly reprimanded by the manager on site for being 15 minutes late and then she notified me that the stylist will not be able to dry my hair because she is with another client in my 30-minute slot. If the salon was already getting money from a client in my booked time slot, why did the manager keep pushing for me to pay for a service that I was not going to receive. The behavior of the manager and the upper management was utterly offensive and I will be sending a detailed letter to the MT corporation as well. I am also curious to know if the manager is this rude with all the clients at MT or was there an element of racism in her interaction with me.
I had a facial with Aria and she was fabulous, my skin feels brand new! Not only is Aria a wonderful esthetician, but she so knowledgeable in all things skin care. Looking forward to my next visit :)
I have been going for over 2 yrs. Stephanie is my waxing tech, and I also had gotten a massage. She made me feel comfortable, and she did a tremandy job every time she walked me thur it. Thats the only tech I had, Im satisfied with her and my service. The place is very clean. Everyone is very nice and polite. The service fees are reasonable.
I have been going to this location for a long time and I have seeing Lupe for a long time for my haircut and my hair is wonderful I love it! Always satisfied with my haircut, Lupe always knows how to style my hair the best. Thank you!
Awesome place! 2nd time there and I will definitely be going back. Michelle the lady who did my hair color did such an amazing job again. Cant tell you how many compliments I got on my hair and Paige the lady who cut my hair also did an amazing job as well. They are both so outgoing and real listen to what you want. From the time I booked my appointment and from the time I went to my appointment and checked in I had the best experience. All of the staff, including the girl who washed my hair, was so polite . I recommend this place to anyone who wants to deal with such great people.🙂🙂
Edit: upgraded from two to four star.Regional manager Nick reached out to me and sorted out my concerns. He helped me make a new appointment given my limited schedule with young baby. New appointment they fixed and corrected all hair color issues and i am satisfied. It was inconvenient but they made it right and i would visit again.Original:Hairstylist Lupe gave me a really Nice haircut but i was disappointed with her behavior. She said she called my name twice. Which I could hardly hear! With all the hairdryers in background noise.Then I had appointment with other technician Matteo for hair coloring but Lupe switched my appointment I believe on purpose with the slowest technician (because her hardwork on Blowout got wasted) who did my highlights and did her Job poorly and slowly. She took forever.. I told her I want darker highlights (even showed some pictures which she disagreed to do) she messed up my front portion of head and didn’t knew what she was doing! I had to ask her to redo the front bangs and top of my head.with darker shade because it looked so different then rest of my hair. She used cold water to wash my hair which I know is used after toner but in Winter after highlights and didn’t have courtesy to ask if water was warm enough!They charged me 287$ in total for all this and on top of it wanted me to buy their shampoo and conditioner!Like they can trick you for anything!My first experience was really good! technician Named Belle did an amazing job which made me visit Tricoci again.But after yesterday’s appointment never visiting again. I came salon at 1:00pm and left salon at 5:00pmReally disappointed.
Went in for haircut and blow dry $80 with Lupe. Told me my hair was dry so sold me the keratin vials $30. She said I’m just going to do a little straightening but it’s typically $20extra. I get the bill and she charges me for the straightening that I didn’t even ask for, she wanted to do it. Her total time spent with me from haircut to end 25mins. All the salons I’ve been to have never rushed me and only spent such little time with my hair. That amount of time for me to spend $130 worth. What a rip off, I would rather go to local salons to support them.
Do not get a massage here! I have worked for spas. Consulted for spas and have visited spas all over this area and the world. This was one of the worst massages I have ever had. Not only was it the worst massage but I could hear the therapists phone buzzing throughout my treatment and her pausing to text back. So many other better places to go where the standard for all therapists would be good quality treatments and to never answer texts while working

Update: I went in to get my color fixed twice with Lauren and she was AMAZING, but the front desk not so much. The first time, the front desk repeatedly insisted I pay for my blow-dry with color correction which is something I had already initially paid for. A regional manager reached out and apologized for the mistake in coding and misunderstanding, but I was disappointed at the front desk’s treatment of guests especially when we are paying hundreds of dollars. The second time, the front desk emphasized this would be my second color correction which is usually not complementary and made sure I knew I had to come in within the 2 week window of my initial service. I felt like the inconvenience I was going through to get my hair the way I wanted it to look was not acknowledged and the front desk staff just kept making sure I knew they were doing me a favor. Regional manager, Lauren, and Noor were very nice, and I was happy with my result in the end, but I wouldn’t come back because I didn’t feel welcome and I didn’t feel like I got the customer service I was paying for (not that people should have to pay a premium for kindness).Initial review: I came in a couple days ago for a balayage, haircut, and blow dry. I purchased a 200 dollar gift card the morning before coming in. I sat down with my colorist and showed pictures of exactly what I did and did not want.After the first stylist was done coloring my hair, the second stylist began blow drying. As I saw my hair drying, I noticed it looked way closer to the color of the pictures I showed to demonstrate what I did NOT want. I asked the second stylist to kindly stop because I wasn’t happy with the color. The first stylist came by and asked me to pull up my inspo pictures. She then denied I was showing her the correct picture. Anyways, instead of apologizing, she told me it would grow on me and that I just wasn’t used to it. I think she just assumed I was super nice and would just leave it be because I was polite and apologetic for not liking my hair. Anyways, she offered to fix it later that week if I still thought I didn’t like it in a few days. Loved my cut and went to check out.At check out, I felt VERY rushed. There was maybe one other person behind me (so not busy) and the lady at the desk was just pushing me to pay despite the fact that I told her I had gift cards. She was even able to apply the gift cards herself because they were on my account and was still rushing me. Because I still had another 170 to pay, I wanted to purchase another gift card online to apply to my total. She told me I couldn’t use it because it was purchased the same day. I asked how she had no problem applying $230 I purchased earlier that day and asked how she or anyone else would know it was purchased the same day because she only found out when I told her I needed a minute to purchase another gift card (which took 1 minute online so it’s not like I’m standing at the desk for long). She said there was no way for her to know. Anyways, I didn’t mind explaining this and stayed patient. The part that bothered me was the fact that she was rushing and charged my card during our conversation WITHOUT asking me. Keep in mind, I’m not trying to get away without paying. I PAID $390.I felt so horrible checking out because she didn’t even apologize for rushing or being rude. Meanwhile, I’m being excessively polite, thanking her, and feel so horrible walking out because my hair is the wrong color and I feel so walked over. As I walk out, I realize I didn’t even get to use my $20 off for being a new customer because I’m so flustered after being treated so horribly.
I had a balayage color done last Thursday evening and I was really surprised how they added on 2 services without really discussing it with me. My hair did not look that different and when I came home, no one really noticed that I had my hair done after spending close to $300 dollars. 😞 Also, having me blow dry my own hair after getting my hair colored is not a very classy move. Is everything “a la carte” now? I did not feel happy after going here and I think you are supposed to feel excited and happy after getting your hair done. Disappointed.
Oakbrook location is always a hit. Seaweed wrap is the best. My go to treatment when I want to feel rejuvenated. Highly recommend.

I needed to get my hair done for an upcoming event and my friend booked me an appointment here because she spoke so highly of Mario Tricoci and my usual stylist was unavailable. I came in early for my appointment out of the respect of other peoples time and my time was not respected at all. The stylist kept taking other clients and doing other peoples hair the ENTIRE time. It was not my first time getting a balayage or getting my hair done but the customer service by this stylist was absolutely horrifying. I spent 3 and a half hours getting this process done. And I understand taking clients in when hair is processing. But putting in 1 foil and going to do another consultation, coming back putting 2 foils in my hair and then leaving again for another 10 minutes to wash someone’s hair is not acceptable. I was in an uncomfortable position the entire time. The only reason why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 0 is because of 2 particular reasons. 1 star is because my hair actually turned out okay. It wasn’t blonde as I had asked for and was exactly what I wanted. The other star is for Lisa. After my service I spoke to Lisa and even when I broke down into tears, Lisa comforted me and told me that she will speak to the stylist about what happened and figure out what exactly went wrong. I still paid for my entire service even though Lisa said she could wave all of it, because money isn’t the issue, human decency and etiquette is. Lisa spoke to Ivanna and spoke to me the following day about how the entire team was spoken to about scheduling and making sure it won’t happen again. She asked me if I was happy with my hair and I said I was because it truly was what I wanted. However this stylist did not get off of her high horse and apologize for her rude behavior. She told Lisa that she did realize I was upset during my appointment and I rightfully was and her knowing that, she STILL did not apologize because she was “busy”. And just as an FYI, the manager spoke to the stylist during my appointment and she came and told me that she was done with someone else and I had her full attention while her manager watched. After the manager left, she disappeared for another 10 minutes before coming back to me. My hair was still not processing yet, I had only 5 foils done. Mixing my color took over an hour and putting foils in my hair took another because she kept leaving. I didn’t ask for a refund or refuse to pay my service. I payed for my service in full and all I expected was an apology. Lisa did not have to apologize for anything and yet she apologized numerous times and I sincerely appreciate her help in trying to resolve this issue and making me feel better. However, I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere where stylists are taught basic etiquette and do not book with this stylist for a hopefully better experience than the one I had.
I had a haircut with Lupe (hair stylist) at the Oakbrook location & it was the most wonderful experience!! I came home from Italy and desperately needed a haircut, I hadn’t had one in a year and my hair was suffering. I came in with a bit of an idea what I wanted but really put my trust in Lupe & she gave me the most wonderful haircut I think I have ever had!! It was so much more than I expected and she was so kind, we had an incredible conversation and I feel like we really made a connection, I had never seen her before but feel like I’ve known her for years now. Please please go see her!!! She will do your hair and soul SO right :) :)
PHENOMENAL!!! I will never go to another place to have my hair cut. I cant remember when Ive felt so pampered, or the last time Ive felt so attractive! My stylist, Amy, did more for me than give me a cut, she gave me back the confidence I had years ago. I cant forget to mention Heidi, who gave me two brows, instead of the one big one. Both of these ladies really treated me well, and I cannot recommend this place enough.

I had gotten a dip manicure elsewhere, it was hurting my nails and I needed to get them off ASAP. I booked a manicure with Colleen at the Oak Brook location. She was the nicest person ever and spent an hour removing the dip. It was definitely a process. She was so kind. She had such a positive, wonderful demeanor. I will definitely come back to her for an actual manicure. 😊
Worst color experience I’ve ever had. I was hoping I was judging my hair too harshly, so I sent photos to my friends. One response was, “You can do that with a box and one of those caps at home. I’d get it fixed asap.” Realized it looked as bad as I thought. Spare yourself and do not go here.
I went to a massage today at the Oakbrook facility and I was very excited. the checkin process went smoothly however my massage therapist was late getting me and then kept me waiting ~20 minutes after the assigned appointment time. I booked a deep tissue massage and if you enjoy getting oil rubbed into your skin very gentle, then this is the place for you. She barely spent any time on my neck or shoulders and when I told her, she would go a little harder but then ease up. There seemed to be no manual skills technique and when she touched a muscle knot, she would say what is this? There was barely any trigger point release. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I am very upset and I feel like it was a waste of my time. After my massage I felt no difference in how I felt. I did receive a discount however honestly I feel like it wasnt enough because I felt the same after my massage, there was no difference in regards to my soft tissue massage. I called management and spoke to a manager however the manager said that if you wanted a deep tissue massage she could recommend 3 other therapist who excel at it. my question to the manager is, why wouldnt you put me with one of those massage therapists? Overall AWFUL experience. I honestly would like a full refund.

My experience was good.First time at this location, as well as going from getting regular highlights, to an overall color, as I was noticing grays.I will say, my colorist was done in about 5 minutes, and when I got home, I still saw the grays I came here to get covered up.I really like the color she chose, but I do feel she rushed a bit.
My favorites are Matteo and Mandy for my color and cuts.Ive gone to multiple techs for facials and massages. The spa is very tranquil with relaxation rooms, steam room and showers. The nail services are relaxing. I have a piece of mind knowing that their tools are sanitized every service.
Bad experience. I was booked for a tint and face framing highlights with Bella. She told me the face framing highlights would not look good so she only did the tint. She had the tint on me for an hour and 15 minutes, which usually tints on average stay on 20 to 30 minutes. She never came back to check on me once. She finally walked passed me with a new client and told me I was going to get my hair shampooed by an assistant. When Bella came back I saw that she got her hair done! Thats why she didnt check on me and was late. By then I was late to my haircut appointment so they scheduled me with another person. This is ridiculous and horrible customer service! I let corporate know, and they said a manager from the Oakbrook hair salon would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. A week later after I sent another email to corporate, a manager left me a voice message stating that she must have been dialing the wrong number the entire week, such bs! They basically brushed me off. There are so many hair salons in this area, you are better off not going to this one.
My son Dylan has been to Dana 3 times now and will definitely continue to come to her. Hes had many bad haircuts and was nervous to get another. She actually listened to what he wanted, made him feel comfortable and he absolutely loves his haircuts!

I came in last Tuesday for the basic haircut service, and I didn’t realize Tricoci took the meaning of the word so seriously. Maybe this is my mistake, but I assumed that in paying for a $140 haircut, at some point during my appointment I would be asked what I wanted my hair to look like. The girl cutting my hair didn’t ask, and up sold me on a $40 product I had no real interest in using. I’ve heard so many great things about this place, but definitely left feeling a little played. :)
Paid $80 for a single process (root touch up) and when I got home, I noticed there were at least three areas that still had grey in it. Color dripping down my face during appointment. I have been coloring my hair for years and this has never happened. Then got a hair cut and they flat ironed my hair and didn’t tell me it would cost more money. Waste of money. They also rush to get you out of chairs. Only star was the lady who checked me in.

Ive been getting my haircut at the place for several years but this was the first time I got my hair highlighted! I love the service, thank you Ashely, the product and how it didnt take forever. But the highlight of my visit was meeting Lupe! I have naturally curly hair and struggle with the care and keeping of it. Lupe help my hair with a Keratin Shot and showed me the right products I can use to improve my hair health! Highly recommend getting your hair done at Mario Tricoci in Oak Brook, IL!
Best Massage I’ve ever had. My husband and I did a couples massage. Excited this location had It for couples . We actually arrived late and they didn’t cancel are service at all. They allowed us to do a shortened time which was great. My massage therapist was Arlene and she did an incredible job. She was extremely nice and welcoming. It was a 25 minute massage but it did not feel like it. It felt much longer. We definitely will be back. From the receptionist too the entire service great experience ohAnd my husband definitely enjoyed his also.
Took my daughter to get a cut and her very first highlights. The cut was amazing as always, done by her stylist named: Alexis. As for the intricate highlights Dominick did an absolute amazing job! He produced the exact highlight colors our daughter had showed him from just a photo. Took his time, provided her with guidance on how to maintain the color, and next steps for the future state. He was genuine. The manager to this facility is also great. Very friendly and conforming. They stand by their commitment and expertise. Thanks for providing such great and caring service to our girl!
Awful experience! When I reached out in hopes of discussing and fixing what happened, I have received no response. Would NEVER recommend going here unless you want your hair to turn out the exact opposite of what you asked for while also being charged waaaay more than quoted.
Only giving 2 stars here because someone called me after my appointment and accused me of walking out without paying for my service with Matteo and Deborah. Ive been seeing Deborah for over a decade and Matteo I just started seeing, and theyre both great, but the customer service definitely left something to be desired.The two desks need to be communicating better and not calling up customers accusing them of not paying. I luckily had asked for a receipt and had to give the details over the phone. Turns out they hadnt charged me for the color service, which I hadnt noticed. I was happy to pay over the phone, and I did.I left feedback and a complaint and received a call from someone that should have really been an apology but it was more of a clarification on their end but I didnt really appreciate how any of these women spoke to me over the phone. I worked retail sales for over a decade and if I had done something like this to a long-time client I would have compd them somehow or offered a free product at my next appointment but they didnt do that.I dont particularly want to come back but I just introduced my stepdaughter to my stylist and I dont want to switch up salons on her now because shes already nervous. Plus its not my stylists fault that they cant ring me out correctly.
Went on Sunday 9th to get my hair cut, my usual hairdresser wasnt working there anymore so I had to go with someone new. Even though, I was quite clear on what I wanted, I received a terrible haircut. Called that Thursday to complain about it, and they offered me to see that lady again to have it fixed, but once you get a bad hair cut from someone you dont want that person to touch you hair anymore, Ive explained that to the person on the other side of the phone and the answer I received was Sorry then.I’ll find other hairdresser.Tricoci Call week later and offer one haircut and they fix the issue.Thank you.
I had color with Dan and LOVE IT! He was so professional and listened to me and I got exactly what I needed. Then I had a cut with DeBorah and my hair looks great!! I cannot say how happy and impressed I am with both of them. Absolutely top notch!!
My boyfriend and I both got haircuts from Kyle/Kenny, and he is absolutely AMAZING. Hes a literal artist and gave us both exactly what we were looking for. He has years of experience which you would not believe because of how young he looks lol! HIGHLY recommend!!
Its fancy. I mean Im not going to lie, it is how the saying goes: you get what you pay for. In this case a very expensive experience. Its very wonderful and relaxing. They dont have massage chairs, but honestly when youre treated like that, you dont need massage chairs. They also have very detailed specific type of hair/nail/massage services you can choose from. All in all would recommend.
I have received multiple services at this location. Waxing is never fun, but I was very happy with the outcome. The waiting area in the spa area was filled with a party once. They were very loud which made for a less than relaxing spa day. They have very uncomfortable bench seating for pedicures. When I had my haircut, the stylist was 30 minutes late for my 45 minute slot haircut. My shampoo took longer than my haircut. I felt more like I was at a Quick Cut than a high end salon. I understand that you can get backed up. I usually do not mind waiting, but I still expect to have the full spa experience. For these prices I expect much better service.
This was my second time at their Oakbrook location and loved my experience just like last time. Lupe did my haircut and Samantha did my hair color with highlights. Both the ladies did a fantastic job in giving me a beautiful makeover. I’m definitely going back there and will recommend these guys to everyone!
It’s been a about 2 years since I decided to give Mario another shot since I have had not one but two horrible colorist that damaged my hair two different times and the other can’t even cover my grays. But I was desperate for a stylist and so I decided to book online and they put me with Bri, must I say I went in with very long hair down my back and I explained to her I needed something fresh and healthy looking.... not only she fulfilled my needs I also loved her personality and her prices were very fair unlike other stylist that charge way more and can’t even wow me. Bri was amazing as I mentioned to her I was on the market of searching for a stylist that makes me happy and has me as a long time customer and she definitely will have me visit her again as well as my daughter. Oh and also the front desk girls were very polite and very welcoming so it’s nice to see such great service.
I called and made an appointment on Wednesday 2/4/15. I was a new client and did not request a specific stylist. They put me with Kelley which I could not have been happier. She had quite the head of hair to work with and tamed my mane. Everyday I get compliments and the cut truly boosted my confidence! I will definitely be back to see her in 8 weeks! Her personality was great and made me feel at ease. I recommend her 1000% and will be passing the word around about her!!
I’ve been seeing Kari Lynn for waxing for 15 years. She’s great. Sabas gave me a deep tissue massage last week and I just got done with another today, he’s great! Ive been visiting Mario Tricoci salons for for over 20 years, and I have to say they are the absolute BEST!!! Lauren does my color and Lupe does my haircut/keratin treatments. They take the time to listen to your needs and provide the best services possible. They provide quality service and completely transform me every single time. Lupe specializes in long, thick, curly hair and complete smoothes me out. I love the magic they work on my hair! They make me feel and look beautiful!!! I highly recommend them both.

Overall, Dana did a great job on my hair. Thats what I came for, is to get my hair done. I have no issues with that. I gave her a nice tip too! But my experience was not so great. Im 23 years old, go to college still so Im not making much money at the moment one would assume. I just didnt feel comfortable being in the salon, I got looks from the workers there, the shampooers were very short and unfriendly along with front desk. I know Im not a woman in their thirties making 80k a year, but I only ask for respect. And thats not what I got from being here. Dont know if Ill be coming back

Ive been going to Oakbrook Tricoci for quite a while. But my last visit really upset me. I made an appointment for single process color and highlights. I always ask how much the services will be so i know before i get there. BUT when i checked out, i had been charged an addition $80. Apparently - Tricoci is now charging $50 separately for custom color and $30 for Toner. Such BS. If toner and custom color together are $80 - then what am i paying for with the charges for single process color and highlights?!!!!! Looking or new colorist - recommendations welcome.

Tori & Lola really made this a really good experience since it was the very first time dying my hair. Tori was very considerate of my wishes & made them her commands. She did everything perfectly & did just what I wanted. Both her & Lola were very kind & made conversation the whole time I was there which was very pleasant. They also made sure I had everything I needed & wanted which is the best I could ask for. Megan also blow dryed my hair very nice, I was happy with the results. I totally recommend this place, mainly because the staff made my first trip there incredibly great.
This is my third time having Falestine color my hair and first time having Kelley cut my hair at the Oak Brook location. Falestine is great, friendly, and will talk to you about color and give you advice on what will work and won’t and is honest and go over all the steps which I appreciate. Kelley was super sweet, I have thin and thinning hair and she gave me a cut and style that works for me. As someone that works customer service you always see the bad reviews posted but wanted to post my positive review to spotlight my two technicians and the great work they do.
I completed a keratin treatment and it was $400 I thought “if it is going to work for 3 months, no big deal” but it didn’t! It lasted 3 weeks!!! I used the shampoo she told me to use and I only washed my hair 3 times a week. I also a different time completed a balayage with someone else, and I was so disappointed that I went somewhere else to fix it. Just because they are a known salon with different locations doesn’t mean they’re the best, do your research, follow different hair salons and stylists on Instagram and make sure you know the person does a great job before going to them. This place doesn’t allow for that, you just have to book with someone you’ve gone to before or you have to know they do a good job. This place is horrible, especially for the price, and not just this location, the entire business as a whole, I’ve visited a few of them.
I made a last minute appointment because where I usually go (old orchard) was fully booked. I was greeted and told to go upstairs where I was met by another young lady and was served coffee.I had my hair done by Michael..he was GREAT.To my surprise I was offered to have makeup done WITHOUT charge.Savannah did a FANTASTIC job. I did however pay for eyelashes which were put on by Savannah.I left there feeling great and looking even greater.Great job Michael and Savannah!!!
I had my hair cut by Ilene. I decided on a whim to get my hair cut after two years of no cuts. Ilene was so sweet and down to earth, and gave me great advice and assurance as to what to do with my hair. There was a workshop going on while I was there, and she explained the rigorous process that the stylists go through in order to work there, which is a good thing. It seems like the company really wants its customers to have a different experience than at other salons, and they want their employees to do a fantastic job. It’s very luxurious feeling. If you go, ask for Ilene!
So let me preface this review by saying that I think Mario Tricoci probably has other great stylists and this is a review based on one experience with one stylist (which is why I gave 3 stars and not 1).This was my first time going here and I had made the appointment last minute because I was in desperate need of a haircut.Anyway...it is easy to find and parking was fine. The women at the desks were extremely friendly and welcoming.I was early, so I didnt mind waiting for my appointment time.When the appointment began I was quickly rushed to a seat. Mind you they have these simple shampoo and cuts scheduled for 45 minute slots. Anyway, she asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted about 3 inches off with side bangs and angled toward my face. I then showed her a picture of my sisters new cut.She said ok and rushed through the shampoo, making idle small talk (I am not a huge talker so I dont mind the silence). Then we sat in the chair and she quickly cut my hair. She never angled the hair in and I just have one string of bangs now. She quickly combed and blow dried my hair. It laid completely flat and overall it was a very mediocre haircut. Not to mention she only spent 15 minutes TOTAL on my hair. Seriously, from the minute she came and got me to the minute she took off the smock thing it had been 15 minutes. I had waited longer. Once she was done she practically ran away from me and I had to run after to see where to pay!Like I said, I am sure this place has great stylists and they are very clean and welcoming. Maybe mine was having an off day, but I wont be going back...I feel as though I wasted time and money.
Manicures just don’t last, neither no-chip or dip. 10 days tops. My mani from the local strip mall shop lasted almost 3 weeks. Just not worth the cost.
I had a much needed deep tissue with Alberta. She was so soothing and her techniques got into even the tightest, most stubborn knots. My muscles felt about 1,000 times better afterwards, but it also felt like she healed my soul. I highly, highly recommend Alberta!
Worst experience ever. From beginning to end. Was crying for hours after I got home. Balayage turned into a hack job that destroyed my hair. Negligent colorist who literally left me on a chair by myself for over an hour with heat on one side and tried to cover it up with toner. My hair is now orange. They were closing and turned off the heat half way through my color and everyone literally vanished. I was just sitting there with my foils on and the heat blasting. Rude front desk staff who yelled up about being the last guest. Employees were more worried about doing their own hair & at one point splashed me with the coloring mixture she was using because she was talking to one of her friends literally just slapping it on my hair without looking. Then, after about 15 minutes of that, she threw the heater on my left side of my head and said shed put it on this side first... but then DISAPPEARED for over an hour. I will never return to Oak Brook or probably another Tricoci in general. At first she was very accusatory saying it looked fine. I told her I hated it and it looked orange and she said I could come back to fix it in 2 weeks with her but she didnt see anything wrong. I heard other horror stories from my friends when I posted what happened on my social media so now Im really sad I went and ruined my hair. My husband and in-laws got me this gift card so I could relax and pamper myself because I am a stay at home mom to a one year old. I am still so frustrated and have no idea what Im going to do with my hair. I am going to try to put up pictures of what I wanted vs what was done. Oh, and to top it off my credit card was stolen out of my jacket. I guess that was my fault leaving in there. Ive already called to cancel, but please avoid this salon if you can.
Generally speaking, a great, efficient way to run a business. This place is always filled with clients regardless of the day or time. There’s never a shortage of appointment times whether you’re getting a cut or color. Everyone is super friendly and more than capable. I’ve met some very talented color and style specialist who love what they do and can almost read my mind when I explain my desired outcome from each experience. Parking is never an issue and checkout is always a breeze. They have refreshments in the waiting area available prior to the service and also offered during your time in the chair by courteous staff. I’ll keep coming here for as long as I live in the area.

Updating my review from 1 star to 3. This place is good for nail services and massages. I had a really bad experience with a bad balayage last year. After complaining, management gave me a gift card, which I appreciated. I still would not recommend getting your hair colored here, they don’t use Olaplex and the staff doesn’t seem the most knowledgeable.
I took my wife there beginning of last year and Falestine did a wonderful job i went back end of the year but she was booked so we went to Elizabeth. My wife wanted highlights like last time but with a dark Carmel color. Elizabeth stated light color wont look good on top and a dark Carmel would look good. When I came back to pick her up she looked like she had grey hair highlights. I know it was new years eve and everyone was rushing to leave but no reason to do a horrible service, nothing carmel and there was nothing toned, also nothing done to the bottem only the top where her roots are. I went down to find out we was paying 300 and something I only paid 200 last time. The lady explained how Elizabeth is more expensive due to experience but how she messed up my wifes hair and I had to cancel our new years eve plans due to this. They didnt charge for the toner but I feel like I shouldnt be charged for anything. Yes they are going let us come for a redo but with falestine Saturday but how is it fare that I had to pay a higher price for a horrible job and ruined my familys new years eve and new years day plans. We cant not even take photos because it looks like she has grey hair.
They kind of herd you in like cattle. A lot of customers and my colorist worked on me and another customer. Would have liked a more personal touch for the price.
Gabby should have some common sense and learn how to treat customers with utmost respect. Everyone come to the salon to get ready, you don’t have to remind them how they look. It’s your job to make them look good.
Got my hair done by top stylist spent over a hundred dollars for highlights with Heather. I explained what I wanted and got a horrible result. She never checked on me afterwards as promised. I spent 2 hours and over a hundred dollars for a really bad job. It was really frustrating and totally disappointing.
I have been seeing Lupe and Dan, for my haircuts and color for years, at the Oak Brook location. They are both professional and true masters of their art. If you want the best haircut and color you ever had, make an appointment with Lupe and Dan. You won’t be disappointed!
Great experience. Got massage and wrap and both were excellent. I felt so relaxed and pampered afterwards.
Feeling disappointed. Had a bridal party for mani and pedis. Found out after everything was done I didnt get the same treatment. I didnt get lotion for my hands, didnt get the hand scrub. And went back the next day for a hair updo for the wedding and by 3hours in curls already came out. For a well-known name I didnt get what I was expecting for their prices. Wouldnt got back for personal care because of this.
Made an appointment for a no chip manicure, after waiting for more than 10 minutes went to the desk to ask how long it would be. After they went back a manicurist came up after another 5 minutes and said she didn’t realize she had an appointment. The manicure was suppose to be 45 minutes according to the front desk and even with the 15 minute delay it was 30 minutes. Now after 6 days almost all my no chips are ruined. They have almost all peeled off. AND IT WAS 50 DOLLARS. Such a rip off. Never getting my nails done here again.
Made an appointment today for Evelyn to do an all over color correction for my daughter. Was booked for 2 hours by the call center. When I arrived at the salon in Oakbrook Evelyn had my daughter text me and tell me that she probably wasnt gonna be able to do it = excuse #1 because she was only booked for an hour, excuse #2 she wasnt sure if she would lift when pre lightened, excuse #3 it would be 4-5 hours and $400-$500 dollars. Mentioning the cost of the service tells me that you think I cant afford it and you might deter me if you bring that up especially to a teenager sitting in your chair.. Completely unprofessional! Evelyn came out twice to try and explain or give me an excuse why she couldnt do it then told me that her hair was lifting and that if I wanted to wait another colorist could do it for her. Then she had a floor assistant come out and tell me that she couldnt do it. I worked for Mario Trecoci in Chicago and I know all the tactics when you just wanna get someone out of the salon and either dont wanna do the service or just dont have the confidence or expertise to do it. Which I think Evelyn had a little bit of both. After all that, she sent my daughter out with wet hair and 3 blond test strips, and we just walked out...WOW!! My daughter has been going to MT for about 5yrs mainly at the Orland Park location and for the most part service has been good. Its sad to say that the quality and professionalism MT once had in the hair industry has suffered and its basically comparable to a Haircuttery chain. Shame on you Evelyn, for wasting my time and I hope while you wasted an hour or two trying not to do my daughters hair you lost two clients and some income because you definitely deserved it. We are done with Mario Trecoci!
Scheduled an early morning massage to release all my muscle knots. Checked in with the friendly and welcoming concierge and headed to the 2nd floor to the spa. A very soothing and calming environment filled with soft instrumental music that would be fitting for a zen-like meditation. In the gentlemans locker room everything was neat and organized and their lockers had simple instructions to keep your valuables and clothes safe. After changing into a robe I headed to the spa waiting area.I was quickly greeted by my massage therapist who was very punctual. Upon seeing me though it seemed as if he was disappointed or annoyed. We shared greetings and his tone agreed with the expression. It was almost palpable. He lead me to the room where we would work. Technique and pressure were well and adequate to remove the majority of my knots. Little to no conversation during the session kept me occupied with my own thoughts and comforting music. After we were finished I arrived back at the locker room and upon looking at the clock on my phone I noticed I was cut short 10 minutes of my massage.😔 annoying and disappointing.The sauna afterwards calmed me down and helped my relax to get over it.Atmosphere: tranquil, soothing, meditativeStaff: front desk delightful, my massage therapist opposite of thatService: massage very good and eliminated 85% of my knotsRoom for improvement: customer service and dont cut the massage short because were paying a lot for the service.

Definitely don’t recommend coming here. My nail tech was rude and chit chatting away with her coworker & didn’t even do my nails the way I wanted them. Overpriced and did not like how my nails came out. I also got my hair colored and let me tell you go somewhere else it’s like they use students or something. Definitely messed it up had to go somewhere else to get it fixed and pay more money out of my pocket
Kenny, my stylist is AMAZING! Great conversation and he’s easy on the eyes, which is always a plus. Also, Katie my colorist, dyed my hair the exact color I was going for👏 I could not be happier with the outcome. I officially found a home that I can trust!!!
I love Ty, shes a very talented hairdresser and her recommendations are always spot on. She recently did the Keritan treatment on my wavy frizz and now i have beautiful smooth frizz free soft waves with just air drying. I strongly recommend her skills and gentle personality.
I’ve been seeing Vanessa for at least 5 years now and she is the absolute best for color and highlights. She kills it every time and bends over backwards for her clients. Been going to this place for years and absolutely love it highly recommend!
First time getting my hair done at this salon. Very disappointed with the outcome. I came in wanting to darken up my hair a little bit and revive a blonde streak that I had and loved. I asked for dark brown and for the blonde streak to be a little thicker. I was left to blow dry my own hair after getting it rinsed. And started tearing up as I noticed my blonde streak breaking off. The stylist blamed it on previous damage I had but I assumed that a high end salon would have knowledgeable staff. If my hair was already too damaged to be bleached again I don’t know why they proceeded to bleach it. Not only was it breaking off but it was totally patchy and uneven. As I went to pay I couldn’t hold the tears back. Luckily the manager had another stylist assist me and try and fix my hair. But I left with no blonde streak and almost black hair. Not at all what I wanted. Will stick to my neighborhood salons from now on.
I went in for a practice run for wedding hair and makeup, and I am glad I did, rather than wait until the day of. My hair appointment was great. The stylist was very nice and personable and she did a fantastic job. What she came up with based on pictures I showed her and the thickness and length of my hair was beautiful and stayed in all day.The makeup appointment did not go the way I had hoped. While the makeup artist was on the surface very nice and took her job seriously, almost every step of the process I had a problem with. She started out by taking one look at my face and asked if I was stressed out, motioning to her jaw. I did not have any makeup on (obviously), so my acne scars were completely exposed for the world to see. I explained to her that what she was looking at was my acne scars and a spider bite on my cheek that I had gotten a few nights previously. I felt very offended that she would address these obvious things as if that is not something completely normal and recognizable. No, I do not have perfect skin. That is why I am paying money to make my face look nicer and not going makeup-free to my wedding!She then proceeded to tell me that my skincare routine is all wrong for me and that she wanted to get a skin care expert to help me out, which I at first very much appreciated. The second lady then came over to tell me how irritated my face was (as if I had no idea) and put some kind of chemical exfoliant on my face for a few minutes, which the makeup artist removed with a damp cloth. It did not burn or tingle while on and I thought it was great. However, 2 weeks later I am still dealing with the breakouts and flaking skin that this chemical, whatever it was, caused. I am talking 18 year-old-self bad. My face still is very angry and hurts from all the cysts it caused. I found it very presumptuous of them to explain how sensitive my skin was to me and then put on a harsh chemical that ended up destroying my skin.Lastly, she repeatedly told me how makeup styles I showed as examples I liked would not work on my face as she did my makeup. Yes, I know I have hooded eyes and not a ton of lid space, but you can do eyeshadow with hooded eyes. I know I do not have huge cheekbones and that my skin is very light and I cant even remember all that she said. On top of it all, I hated the way I looked by the time she finished. Absolutely hated it. The only thing I thought she did great with was the eye shadow. The foundation was cakey, the powder was too thick and left streaks on my face, the mascara made my eyelashes look like short stubby spider legs (I can do WAY better than that on myself), the blush made me look like a clown, and the pale pink lip gloss (I hate lipgloss, but she never asked my opinion) made me look like a corpse bride with my whitey-white skin. I washed it all off as soon as I got home.That being said, she was very smiley and very polite.Therefore, I give 3 stars to even things out. I will definitely be going back for my wedding hair, but I am contracting my sister to help me with my makeup.
I was late for 15 min so they cancelled my two appointments and they made me Wait for 3hours for the next available technician who started with me 30 min after my appointment and when I asked her why you are behind she said one of my clients was late 25 min so all my appointments fall behind. If I knew that this salon treat his clients with discrimination I wouldn’t come.
I had a great first experience at Tricoci in Oak Brook! Gigi did my color balayage and I loved it. Lupe cut my hair and I loved it as well. I’ll definitely be going back to see both of them!
The Oak Brook location had a confusion with my appointment and Nick, the regional manager reached out and was very helpful. He promptly solved my issue and I am very happy with the outcome. Great management!
This was my third experience in life at a spa. I was there for a pedicure and I can say that this was awesome!!! The staff was on time according to the scheduling and I will be returning again soon.
Love coming here! I go with my two girls here every 6 months or so for a trim and the girls just love Jade and Alexis. Aileen always does a great job with my hair as well.Definitely recommend it here!
Top notch salon. Clinicians extensively trained and many have been there for decades. They offer their own products and recommend others as well. They are quite pricey though, but you get what you pay for,
So for my birthday my family gave me a gift certificate from Tricocis for me to get my hair done there. I had in the past 6 months on two occasions my hair highlighted and colored and cut by local salons in Naperville and Wheaton that well were disappointing at best. My family around the Xmas table told me stories of Mario Tricocci and how he was my Mothers hairdresser years ago and she loved him. So I went Friday, and I have to say, what a great experience I had with the two young girls who did my hair. First off a girl named Falestine did a consult and asked me many questions on what I was looking for her to do, and then she gave her professional opinion, and I liked what she said and told her lets get started .....End results-beautiful highlighting, the best I have ever had.....Next was a hair cut by Aileen who after I stated I was looking to grow out my hair a bit and have a bob style, did a perfect hair cut, seriously a precision haircut, again the best I have had in a very long time. My trip there was worth it and I am coming back again to continue what I feel was the best experience for a day of beauty ever (-_-).....

Oak Brook Mario was a good experience for me until two encounters with the unprofessional manager Gabby. I was a regular no chip manicure client with Marta, who is excellent, and occasional feet services. In addition, every Mother’s Day for about 4 years me, my mom and daughter would patronize Mario in Oak Brook due to the professionalism we received in the past. However, it is sad that one or two bad experiences can taint such a good place and a renowned name as Mario Tricocci.Let me explain my first encounter was when I had a good lady Grace always do my eyebrows and one day she was ill before my appointment. Gabby tried to get me to sign a waiver before my eyebrow appointment with another lady. I mentioned that I had come there on Several occasions without a waiver. I explain that if this is your policy everyone seen at Mario not just African American people should be your target for a waiver. I also followed with other people that I know who attend Mario who is not African American and both said they were not asked to sign a waiver.2nd encounter Saturday, May 11, 2019, with Gabby, Manager and Jessica, nail technician, very unprofessional. Jessica left me in the feet tub for about 15 minutes at the beginning of my appointment so that she could go discuss with Gabby about the condition of my toe.Instead of telling at the beginning of my appointment that they did not want to apply polish to my toe, so that I would have the chance to decide if I wanted them to continue with my pedicure or not. Jessica waits until the end of the appointment and informs me of her decision. At this time it is too late to decline the service and am forced to pay, which was the game that Jessica and Gabby played with a loyal client.So I go to speak with Gabby and I explain how I was never refused polish before or told to bring my own polish. Gabby starts to tell me how they looked up my account and noticed that I had been there multiple times and should have been told about bringing polish. So this let’s me know that they had this detail conversation prior to my service and unprofessionally made the decision to wait until my services are already complete in order to get my money for. Incomplete service.To further show how unprofessional Gabby was as a manager, she didn’t bother to offer me discount or no charge for services due to their lack of communication and professionalism.According to Gabby management style, it makes good sense to let a loyal client walk out the door unhappy and vow never to return to Oak Brook Mario Tricocci.The sad thing about unprofessional people as employers and management is that it doesn’t really affect the people. It affects Mario Tricocci name and revenue. It doesn’t affect Jessica because I was not her regular client. However, it affects my nail tech, my eyebrow lady and the revenue that my mom and daughter also bring as a year commitment. Sad to say that until companies make a statement to employees that customers come first, this will continue to happen.As a final thought, I just recommended Mario to two friends that like my no chip and wanted pedicures. Also, my cousins and I had plan to do a Mario Spa day next year for my cousin milestone birthday, approximately 15 people, who could potentially become regular customers.But I guess based upon Gabby and Jessica attitude making money and keeping a good reputation is not part of Mario Tricocci business plan.Very Disappointed Former Customer

This place has lost its luster. The blaring and outdated EDM and bright lights give off a cheap commercial vibe.The cluster of girls gossiping at the front desk upstairs is cute in a “sisterhood of the traveling pants” type of way, but not when you’re waiting to check in. It’s fine if there’s a bunch of high school girls at the front desks but at least train them to be slightly more professional. I know there is only so much you can expect from a 17 year old, but for the price the service and attention to detail could be better.
This place is amazing. Lupe is the best hair stylist ever, she listens to the customer and does exactly what you want. Ive seen so many different stylists here, they are all good, but she is the BEST. Highly recommend.
Not all in the nail department can paint. Marta is the best! After several experiences with other technicians I won’t book unless I can get in with her. I’m annoyed that I paid $50 for the paint job I got today. The technicians are always nice and professional, however.
Have taken the keratin treatment, but it is so costly and not worth it, my hair looks the same wavy, and the result gives a smooth texture but the look is the same wavy and dry from the bottom length also the stylish was not interested to tell about the after treatment what precaution should be taken, I have gone and asked her, I think she was not interested doing my treatment also at the end she had not done the ironing properly, anyways for this service I would give 2 stars for her forcefully effort for 2 hrs
I go to the Oak Brook salon for the last few years but have over the years gone to other locations as well. This is definately a salon to get pampered at with all the services they offer. They strive for your happiness and will correct something if you are not happy. The parking is good since its based in the Oak Brook Mall. Pricing can be average to costly depending what services you choose. I get my hair colored there and am satisfied with the results. Theres a escalator and elevator there for those who need them. Check the internet for all the services that are offered. Also they make sure that everything is sanitized and Covid safe and everyone is wearing a mask.
Birthday gift certificate, went to the Oakbrook location. Massage was good and relaxing, mani/pedi area is not very relaxing, its loud and very cold. The makeup lady who took care of me didnt really know what she was doing, I looked like a clown after that service. I literally had to wipe it off before I stepped outside. Will not be returning.
Stylist full of herself and aloof. Hated haircut - used senior stylist $75. Talking to other stylists while cutting hair. Unprofessional. Expected much more from this high end salon. Need another haircut within days.

My friend went there to get her hair done. We went on a Sunday and they closed at 7pm. First of all the appointment was at 4:45 and the hair stylist didn’t inform us how long the process would take or any of the procedures for when they close. It’s now 7pm and my friend has her hair dripping wet and has to go blow dry her hair herself because there weren’t any stylists (cuz apparently all the stylists just drop what they are doing and leaves at close) , because God forbid the guy who colored her hair touches a blow dryer. The part that gets me is that the hair stylist leaves us and we basically are in the salon by ourselves. No one mentions how long we have or to hurry up. So for over 200 dollars you get a half done job, dripping wet hair, and having to do things yourself. Never coming back. They need to be a little more mature and not just leave their clients in the salon while they go start their car to go home, forgetting they have a job and are their to give the client a vip experience.

Terrible starting with the person making the appointment. She didn’t know anything about the the treatment I wanted and scheduled me for the wrong treatment! I found out after the treatment was finished….$325. To top it off when checking out the staff at the desk was rude and impatient when asked a question. With prices like this better service is MANDATORY!
Very crowded. You will never feel comfy there after a very busy week especially if you want to calm down and be in a quiet environment. Never seen such a busy salon on Saturdays in my whole life. There were so many people there (customers and stylists) and because of the COVID there weren’t enough spaces for washing hair. (COVID is here for more than a year. Maybe better to buy more chairs for washing? There was already a line of customers waiting for a wash. My hair has been washed for maybe 30 seconds. For this kind of salon I expecting them to wash my hair at least twice and properly and with conditioner as well and maybe with a quick massage too. Separate person for separate procedures. It’s pretty annoying and the price of color service is without cut and style. They even have registers with the highest countertop ever you will feel extremely uncomfortable if you are under 5’8 . I would pay $200 for balayage and blow my hair myself if I didn’t book another service provider so I ended up paying $240 for balayage (tip excluded). They automatically ask for 20% tip. Absolutely non sense for the experience. But the services providers did an acceptable job. I feel sorry for them to work there because there is obviously a bit unfriendly atmosphere. It seems like that every lady has a different chair every day and it causes a mess.

Well I worked for this company for a little over a month and after about two weeks things started to go down hill for me. I was treated differently from the other associates, the managers barely spoke to me, and they pointed out every little thing about me that was wrong when in reality I did everything Right. I felt like when I worked here I was set up by these people because I got complaints from customers that i barely spoken to. And sadly about two days ago the company decided to let me go due to accusations and it’s such a disappointment to be singled out from the others. Btw I loved working here, i consider myself very assiduous about my work ethic. But it’s very plight of what happened to me and I will continue to burgeon in life ☺️. Good luck 👍🏽
Called on NYE day to see about a quick haircut. My hair is short and my usual stylist at Lady Janes does it fantastic in about 20 mins, including the massage and hot towel and shampoo. Im accustomed to paying $30 with tip if I wax the brow. With that in mind I called and asked reservations for an appt and was told two girls are available one starts at $44 the other starts at $55. I asked if that included a happy ending there is no way on earth Id pay someone, especially someone I know jack about, that much to trim my hair. I make decent coin but this is a waste of money unless I was going to get a lap dance at the end.
I had an ok experience. The package I got was 85$ but the girl said she recommended the 100$ package, I said it was fine. My only true concern was I had a blackhead below my nostril. When it was over there was no difference in my skin and I still have the blachead.
Kelley cut my hair and truly got the five star experience from her. She was so considerate to what I wanted and kept asking me if my hair was at the length I wanted it. She also is quick and efficient and totally rocks at blow outs!
Mandy is my all star. The girl knows what she’s doing and it shows. I go in when I feel like my hair has lost the will to live and when I step out of her chair, I’m feeling like I should be in a damn Pantene commercial. She’s a sweetheart. Highly recommend her for cuts and styling for special occasions.
I toyed with leaving a public reviews b/c I did tell my frustration to the young lady I made the payment 2. My visit on 5/1 with Sabas… was the worst Massage ever, he started on time and ended 10 min early, no eye contact, no offer of water before or after, no robe, did not ask if I wanted any add on or other services now or in the future… I did inform him that this was my first visit. My first thought was maybe he was being careful because I am a women and he did not want cross any lines but after reading other views from Women maybe he is not use to dealing with black women. The only reason I made another appt is b/c my friend who came with on 5/1 brag at dinner how good her person (Amber). I just can not image that everyone that wk there are like Sabas. Service with Michael , He spent only 10min for $70paid, did very sloppy job, at the same time he was talking about his overqualified experience and super expensive set of scissors. Seems like he knows and should know what he is doing, but at the end he does not care. It’s a shame, would not go back to him or TRICOCI!

I saw Mary Jean to have my previous acrylics removed and have new ones put on. She cut me at LEAST ten times, and one of the cuts were so bad she put nail polish glue over my cut because it was bleeding so much. My nails are lumpy and the nail polish application was sloppy at best. I will NEVER go back to this place ever again. I paid $100 for the worst nails I’ve ever had.
Ive had wonderful massages each time (4 total visits). Amber gave a phenomenal message. Also just love the steam room and the well-tended-to facilities in general.
I made an appointment by phone & when I showed up I was told my appointment had been canceled because the stylist wasnt accepting new clients. They should have called me before I showed up. Ive had problems with thus location before.
I started going to Mario Triccoci to make sure my hair was done right, requested a Senior colorist that specializes in platinum blonde. The first couple times had been gradually getting my hair to the Ideal color, unfortunately I never reached that goal because my hair was severely over processed, which led to severe breaking, I was scared I wasn’t going to have any hair left : ( when I told the salon what happened and expressed my sadness, they suggested using a different colorist. So after losing half my hair, it was down to the middle of my Back, the hair stylist who I use for cutting my hair said I am sorry the only thing we can really do is give your hair a extreme cut, and after awhile it will become full again, I am devastated, my long hair is now chin length, thin and frail. I had to pay to get my hair cut, after they fried it. It will take me years and years to get it back.I do not recommend Mario Triccoci.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!I went here to go blonde because my hair was really brassy and I wanted to cut my hair. I told the stylist Samantha that I wanted to get as blonde as possible without any brassiness..... I also got a hair cut but the guy cut it EXTREMELY short something I did not want. When I left my hair was some what blonde but it was SO BRASSY! I paid over $200 for them to basically keep my hair the same way it was when I came there it was just a lot shorter. NEVER again will I go here. For what? save your money and just go back to the school at least its a lot cheaper and they do a better job at it. Its so pricey and they dont care that you dont like your hair. Ive called multiple times to try and complain and all they have done is ignored my calls. They should have to fix it for free since they didnt know what the hell they were doing. NEVER GO HERE SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY!!!!!
I would recommend KENNY. I walked in very confused not knowing what to do with my hair, it was long, brittle and nearly dead. He educated me on various hair styles and gave me a perfect one. He just nailed it. I couldnt ask for more and DID NOT regret cutting my long hair. This is my first google review and he totally deserves it.-Sarika

Honestly I would give it 4 and a ½ stars for spa services (waxing, facials) but 2 stars for haircuts and color. I stopped getting my hair done here, because you feel like and I do not feel like you get what you pay for. However, I always come here for waxing and my facials and have been happy with both each time.
Anna was amazing! Very detail oriented and cared for what I wanted for my haircut and made me feel so comfortable. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!
Front end staff was pleasant and accommodating. My masseuse was efficient and sweet. Nice facility.

I went in for a re-cut due to a bad cut from another location. Alexis was very friendly and had my hair looking great again in under 10 minutes.I would definitely recommend her as well as this location!
Ellie cut my hair exactly how I wanted. I admitted that Im not the best at explaining what I want, even with a picture, and so she ended up tweaking the cut a couple times, but still did a phenomenal job.
Not me again trying to give this place another opportunity, I’ve been to this same exact location for three times already. Came in for a brow wax and the lady even tho she was very friendly she seemed like in a hurry and did everything so fast that she BURNT MY FACE, literally my brow area is so red and it hurts very bad. NEVER going back again.
Worst receptionist- tried to book appointment but once I mentioned groupon she didnt want to deal with me. Told me I had to call Groupon to book the appointment. This is something I have never done with any other Groupon. Calles Groupon was told they dont schedule the appointments.
I give this place two star because check in and check out staff can be very rude. I have witnessed this in many occasions but I still go because I like my beautician. Normally I do not bother with this but when the staff who cuts and styles your hair is so great, I do not understand why the front desk cannot be of the same professional caliber.

Went there for my birthday and had the deep tissue massageI left feeling fabulous. The environment was relaxing and soothing. The massage was wonderful, just enough pressure.
