Live Bait Night Club

I was excited to find a place to go dancing while at the beach, but I was taken advantage of by the bartenders. Both bartenders added auto-gratuity for parties of 8 or more to my tab, did not inform me and then pressured me to tip more. I was the only person in my party being served each time. Additionally, I was given the wrong drink on multiple occasions and the female bartender couldn’t even remember what she made me. It’s appalling that this establishment allows their employees to take advantage of customers in this way when they’re aware that we may not pay close attention to the receipt.

Came in to town for a quick weekend trip. Went to Live Bait on Sat, 6/1 and had a blast. Both DJ’s were fantastic. They played a great variety of music. Definitely recommend them and the bar!

Cover charge of $20 per person for a fire hazard of a night club. Definitely no limit on people allowed inside. You cannot move around in it. Music was not good. Couldn’t even get to the bar to get a drink for twenty minutes.UPDATE: my car was hit in the parking lot.

It’s the best spot for us to go dancing in the area. Plus the food was much needed at the end of the night. Me and my girls will definitely be coming back 💃💃

Great time with my girls for a weekend get away! The staff was so accommodating, they truly went above and beyond for us.Staff members Jaime and Country were wonderful in their successful efforts to make sure we had an amazing experience and got home safely. We went late on Fathers Day for dinner. The seafood special was cooked well and we thoroughly enjoyed it. After dinner we wandered out to Karaoke . When we arrived it was mostly empty. When I went to.sit at the bar Constantine very rudely said that the bar was just for paying customers. We paid 300 for dinner for 5 adults and all had drinks from dinner we brought out from the dining room with us. After that we walked back inside to get refills as I did not want to tip someone that rude.

This nightclub is not LGBT friendly. My friends were called slurs within the first 5 minutes of getting in, and we were stopped to have our IDs checked by three different people on the way inside, while everyone else was allowed to enter after the bouncer reviewed their ID. There were 3 girls working the table inside and they were very disrespectful towards us, and laughed when a man called my friends a f*g. Will never be returning.

Cool place with a lot of potential but the DJ was TERRIBLE.

Went last weekend (Friday night). Had 5 vodka red bulls. The wife had maybe 4–5 miller lites. Tab was around $60plus tip. Checked my statement the next morning due to an alert through my online banking. Was some how charged an additional $135!!! Called the club right after and they told me someone would call me back once manager arrived. Never got a call. Went up there and they said they had no idea why that happened and there’s nothing they can do. This has happened to Multiple people I know. It says a lot when management won’t attempt to make it right. Bartender probably kept receipt copy and added their own tip... who knows????? Won’t be going back.

The older lady bartender(heather) was so beyond rude to my group we ended up going back to the karaoke spot towards the restaurant because we didn’t want our night completely ruined but we Will probably never be back until they have people back there that respect their customers the bald guy(idk) and skinny blonde (mackenna) were the only ones that treated us with respect and like real people

Dj played the same songs over and over we got here at 9pm when they opened and heard the songs over and over and the bartenders were not very good or friendly

Should have been $40 for 4 people admission on new years & they over charged my card for 49.09.Im furious. It caused me to go into over draft & the bank charged me 35 for overdraft. Avoid at all cost or use cash & count your change. Tried calling the restaurant & bar & cant get ahold of anyone

I have lived here in Orange Beach AL for 14 years and can never get tired of the fun times here. Great live music, no riff raff, dance club is awesome! The bartenders here have always been nice.

Waited outside to get in for an hour and counted 50 ppl cut in line because security let all they friends in. I’d give them a 0 star if I could. Even asked to pay $100 to get in and they rather let they friends in for free. I probably wasn’t let in because I’m not black or Jamaican.

Last night was our first visit to Live Bait with 2 other couples. My husband ordered the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta, which came out with NO shrimp. The young kid who delivered our meals said he would take it back and have them throw on some shrimp. Since thats not the way it is supposed to be prepared, we declined the offer and asked to have our bill revised to reflect what was served. Two of us had shrimp-and-grits, which were sticky and lacking the sauce promised on the menu. Then when we received our checks, each couples bill had an error . . . Two had extra drinks, and one had an incorrect price on an entree. We chose to eat dinner there because we were going to a comedy show at their nightclub . . . probably will not do that again! We did really enjoy the show, so we may return for another show....well just eat elsewhere first.

My family has been coming to the Bama coast for 30 years and the fried shrimp at Live Bait is the best Ive ever had. Always a long wait to get seated,but totally worth it.

Great dance floor and lighting. Good music from 2000’s. Took request.

The food was AMAZING with decent prices. Amanda was our waitress and she was great. Will definitely be coming here every time I’m in orange beach.

Best night life at the beach hands down

They have some of the best bands. Their food and service is top notch. Plus a great dj with all of todays dance music.

It’s actually pretty cool to have a drink dance with random people and have a convo with some awesome people. The staff were friendly and I had a a lot of fun.

We vacation in Orange Beach every June. Live Bait is our night out every year. We have some wonderful memories made right here.
