I took my mom and mother in-law for their mother’s days gift and they absolutely loved it!They walked out saying they felt extremely relaxed.The place is very nice and welcoming. The front desk staff is very nice too. Will definitely be back to try it out myself 😊

Update: No one has ever reached out--I would not expect at this point that they ever will. I say book with caution and take their words with a grain of salt.Im really sad to not be able to post a good review here. My partner and I went here for a couples massage for our anniversary. We had booked a combination deep tissue/swedish massage because I wouldnt be tough enough for a full 80 minutes of deep tissue! When the therapists came in, mine was talking to me only about the hot stones we had talked about adding on, but didnt ask about any pain points or focus points. Then when she started massaging she was so gentle, it was completely unlike any professional massage I have had. I asked for her to increase the pressure a couple of times, but it did not improve. At one point I asked and she got upset and said she couldnt go any harder and did I want her to go to reception to get someone else or something. I didnt know what to say!My partner offered to swap his therapist with mine, which we did, but then HE got a very weak massage. The therapist I started with continued making comments about it and sniffling as if she was very upset. It was awful. I couldnt wait for it to be over because it was so awkward (and who ever wishes for a massage to be over?!). We told the front desk when we were checking out, but they didnt offer a discount or anything. $240 for the worst massage and experience Ive had...it was a shame because the other therapist was good and the ambiance of the place is nice, but that guilt tripping and ruined vibe is just unacceptable.

I recently visited Essentials and had the most incredible deep tissue massage with Christine.From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Christines technique was top-notch; she listened to my concerns and tailored the massage to address all my problem areas. Her professionalism and skill made the experience deeply relaxing and therapeutic.I left feeling rejuvenated and free of tension. I cant recommend Christine enough! Ill definitely be returning for more sessions. Five stars all the way!

Highly recommend! We got a gift card for Christmas and booked a couples massage online 1 day in advance. From Google Maps it looked like the location was on the left side of the building, so we went all the way upstairs… but it’s conveniently located downstairs behind the elevator. Our masseuse’s were waiting for us when we arrived, we signed the waivers, and we’re taken back immediately! Everyone was super friendly and I loved the relaxing ambiance. It was only $130 before tip for a couples massage- will definitely be returning!

I had my massage done by Julien. She was amazing. It was my first time in getting a massage and she made me feel so at ease. She was able to answer my inquiries and explain why some areas needed more work than others. I will definitely be going back to her.

I love the location and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. I don’t like that each time you come there is a new therapist. I do love that each day thy have deals and Groupons. Overall this is a great place to go and relax.

The Essentials Spa Orange City is a newly-added location to the main location in Orlando. It’s conveniently located close to busy Saxon Blvd. The Spa is located in a small strip mall and you could pass by without noticing it. The exterior is very unassuming and has blacked out windows so you cannot see inside even if you are standing right in from of it. Once you open the front door, you get transported to a cute and nicely designed interior. It’s not very flashy but it does have a nice vibe.The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I’ve visited this location a couple of times and most recently got a Mother’s Retreat package for my mother’s birthday. She absolutely loved her 90 minute Swedish massage and 1 hour anti-aging facial. She said the scalp massage was great and felt pampered throughout her experience. I’ve gotten a 1-hour massage a couple of months back and really enjoyed it.Again, Essentials Spa is not flashy and over-the-top but it gets the job done. The prices are more than reasonable and the professionalism and quality work they do makes it a plus. I believe the current on-going special is $50 for a 1-hour massage or facial. Can’t beat it!

Exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend the Orange City location. They were friendly, courteous and professional. The space was very clean and the room felt zen full. I went in for a Customized signature facial with Chhayaben and it was the best facial I have ever experienced. She cleaned my face so thoroughly. And was very detailed in cleaning the extractions from my nose. I will be back. And I encourage you to go NOW!

Just received a combination massage for the very first time. I believe my therapist name was Elizabeth. The spa its self was well managed and taken care of ! Unfortunately my massage was super disappointing. I relayed I wanted the focus on my lower back and hips and my lower back was maybe touched for a solid minute and my hips were not massaged at all. I think if I had a different therapist things would have been different but I still recommend this place !

I had the 90min prenatal massage. It was excellent. The only reason I did not give it a 5 stars was because the music kept turning off and my masseuse had to pause several times to try to fix it. I do want to clarify and say it was not her fault, she apologized many times and it was simply out of her control. She did an excellent job. However I would be lying if I said the music stopping continuously didn’t take away from the experience.

I booked a couples massage for my mother and I.We had Andres and Elizabeth. They were both kind and welcoming. The massage tables had warmers which felt amazing! The massage itself was nice and relaxing, just what we needed. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Had one of THE BEST massages with Christina at Essentials in Orange City yesterday! I have several old Injuries in my spine and new LSS nerve pain in my lower back and legs. I’m also physically disabled from chronic pain caused by these injuries, so getting a good massage is a rare treat for me. Christina has the magic touch and she made me feel so relaxed while she worked out the serious knots I had in my neck and shoulders that develop from constantly contracting my muscles because I hurt so much all the time. I woke up this morning expecting pain and stiffness as I do every morning, and to feel additionally sore from the massage, but I wasn’t sore at all and I felt much better than I was expecting to! ☺️Christina is awesome and she was careful to adjust the pressure on my back in certain areas when I asked and her technique using her hands, arms, and elbows was AMAZING!!🤩

Short review: This place is amazing. Book immediately.Long review: My best friend and I just left a couples massage with Gina and Jillian. I have never been so loose and agile in my LIFE. I carry a lot of tension in my upper body and it’s completely gone. I feel like I’ve been pushed through a pasta machine & it’s one of the best feelings in this life!!!!! My bestie is a barber and she’s on her feet almost 60 hours a week, cutting 40 people a week. Her shoulders are where her tension is & Gina made her feel like butter. I’ve personally never seen her move her neck so swiftly in 10 years of friendship so that alone is a reason to book.

Very nice place and it smells good right when you walk through the front door. My fiance and I did a couples massage and it went great! I would say the only thing I would do differently is I would get a hard pressured massage instead of a medium pressured massage next time because this massage felt like I was just getting lotion rubbed on me and not quite a massage. Also, be aware that if you use a Groupon coupon to tell the person on the phone when they are booking your appointment or they will not be able to use it when you arrive to the place. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to let mine go through today and also explained the rules of using Groupon. Overall the experience was great, and we would do a couples massage there again just with different pressure.

Never again will I be going back to a massage envy or a hand and stone. My experience today was so perfectly tailored to what I needed. It was amazing. I came in and my left shoulder was visibly in spasm to where it was sitting much much higher than my right and causing me a lot of discomfort. I told Christina what I was currently doing as far as physical therapy and what I needed from her and I dont think she could have done any better. When i got home i was able to see that my left shoulder had settled completely and while i did want to put ice on it because she really really got in there, it feels sooo much better already. I needed a really firm touch from someone who knew what they were doing and Christina was absolutely that woman. I cant sing her praises enough. Ill definitely be back. Blown away. Thank you Christina!

Deep tissue by Andreas... life changing! He did an amazing job and definitely followed what my body was showing him. He explained to me what he was doing and how it was going to feel. He made sure to check in on me about the pressure he was applying.... Seriously loved him. I also love getting facials here! She is amazing and really knows how to take care of my skin. They also run weekly specials!

This was my first massage ever and ut was amazing. I had Christina Beres and she hit all the Tigger points and made me so relaxed. I would highly recommend her when booking massage.

I went in for a 1 hour relaxation massage and had Andres. He was amazing! I tend to be very tense due to weightlifting and just stress in general so he not only massaged me, but also did several stretches that really helped relax my body. They refused to take a $70 Groupon value . Spoke to the owner directly, and he said he doesn’t get any money from them. I talked to Groupon. They said that’s not true that the owner can actually be in trouble for this because it says right on their terms that any expired coupons revert back to the original value paid for the Groupon as store credit from the vendor of the Groupon purchased. I’m going to be in touch with Groupon some more and get this resolved because they cannot just take peoples money like this and not say it’s worth anything that’s a scam. They tried to get me to pay $110 for a one hour massage that’s only $60. I left very upset and I’ve been coming here for years and have recommended. Many people will never go back or recommend this place again see below the group on terms the business is flat out wrong .*** from Groupon directly***However, the customers unredeemed voucher is always worth at least the amount paid for it. Even though the promotional value has expired, the customer may use the paid value as a credit with the merchant.These are the terms but yet the owner refuse to take the $70 as credit paid !!! Don’t fall for the scam

Had a 90 minute couples massage. I had Christina, she had a guy named Dan or Dave or something.Christina was good overall, I thought, but my lady didnt like the guy. Also I didnt like the guy because he wouldnt shut up. I kept hearing him narrating the event Im going to move your arm up... Im going to massage your legs now.... Just do it like Nike.-Short changed a little on the time.-Christina does this weird head smash thing where it felt like my head was in a vice.. not too sure about that one.-I dont know if Christina smokes, or the guy smokes, but I smelled cigarette smoke on someones clothing which was unpleasant.Neutral on the piggly wiggly.. this little piggy goes to the market, this little piggy...+oil felt a little tingly+Head massage minus the head vice was great.+Glutes massage was greatThis place is huge, looks like they have like 15 rooms.Unfortunately my lady hated her massage so much that she doesnt want to come back.

I got a facial here and it was very relaxing and comfortable. They even have a 2nd waiting room that is dark like a movie theater where you can relax, have a blanket and watch whatever you choose on Netflix or other platforms😁 I was impressed

Essentials Spa in Orange City is always wonderful ! I had a facial with Chhiya that was the best facial I’ve ever had! We’ve been here several times for couples massage and every time is perfect!! Today we had Bret and Gina and it was incredible. This Spa is just consistently amazing!!

Were grateful that my husband could schedule a 30-minute deep tissue chair massage appointment for the next day to address his shoulder and neck pain. Although he felt a bit sore afterward, he definitely felt much better.

Tried this place for the first time for a couples massage and it was amazing! I had Jillian and she was truly awesome. It was very relaxing and we talked through some areas of focus and she made me feel extremely comfortable. She really helped in relieving some pain I had. Overall experience great for both us was great! Will definitely go again.

Donna was absolutely amazing! She constantly made sure she wasn’t using too much pressure, the temperature of the bed was right, and that I wasn’t uncomfortable. I highly recommend her as she is very thorough and caring. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Dona was amazing! Very good at deep tissue and she never hurt me while being able to get my knots out she has a gift for sure! She is also very kind and lets you relax during the massage.. She understands that talking to much during a massage really takes away from the relaxing part. Ill defiantly be back to go to her again.

My husband and I got a couples massage and we went with intentions of just having a relaxing massage and my husband was so relaxed he fell asleep! Haha but he also said Brett did a great job with getting knots out of his targeted areas. I loved the hot towels and scrub on my feet, definitely recommend spending the extra on it! Cant remember my therapists name but it was overall beautiful, clean, cozy environment!

I booked my appointment on line and received confirmation via e mail. When I arrived receptionist stated that she has no reservation for me. I shoed her confirmation. She was extremely rude, did not apologize for the system problem and stated that it was my fault and i booked appointment wrong. Zero customer service skills. I called her on her unprofessional behavior. She tried to play the victim. I could have booked another place if i knew this one had unreliable technology and unprofessional employees

Today we shedualed a couples massage! Reasonably-priced! And extremely friendly staff and extremely comfortable (heated massage tables) my massage was disappointing unfortunately! The woman who did my massage basically just rubbed oil on me and didnt use any skilled massage techniques and failed to focus on the area we had discussed was the area of tension! but believe the experience would have been satisfactory with other therapist!

I loved this place. My therapist was a younger gentleman. He was amazing. Took his time and I felt so relaxed. This was my best experience and best massage I have ever received. I will definitely do this on a regular basis.

Donna my massage therapist is very knowledgeable on the different types of massages and techniques. Donna attended a seminar in Seattle, Wa recently that was hosted by a physical therapist. I highly recommend Essentials Spa. My massage and the reflexology was amazing. The receptionist is very nice and communicates with you on their special offers.

Angela was amazing. Best massage I have ever received I have been getting massages for over 17 years and I have never felt more relaxed and unglued in my life. She was so sweet so gentle and did everything I had asked for and more I will definitely be coming back to see her. The place was beautiful and everyone was nice. The woman who did my massage didn’t do a good job. I felt like she put lotion on me and massaged very little. We upgraded to hot stones and hot towels and I only got a hot towel under my neck and she went over my back with one stone for maybe two minutes. Wouldn’t recommend.

I scheduled the 90 minute massage and left feeling so relaxed. Jillian worked out some tightness in my neck, shoulders and back. The pineapple back and foot scrub are awesome and smell amazing. Booking my next appointment. Highly recommend some self care with Jillian 😊.

I only write reviews when I have a really great experience. Like exceptional. This is for Jessica. I had a massage from her about a month ago. I had been having such bad back pain from various things, kids, scoliosis, plane ride. I was dreading going back home to Alaska on the long plane ride because I end up in so much pain. I had two massages prior to this that just didn’t help in the way I needed. But I decided to give it another go because I really needed relief. Jessica did such a good deep tissue on me. I didn’t have pain on the plane, no pain medication needed. My muscles are STILL so much looser that my daily stretches hurt less. She helped me out of a really painful corner I was in and I’m really greatful for that and her techniques. Will definitely be going back to see her when I’m back in FL. In fact bought my dad a gift card so he can go see her.

Chhaya did an Anti-Aging Facial on me. WOW! is all I can say! Her technique is different from other treatments/facials I’ve had, and believe me at the age of 65 I’ve had many facials. This was absolutely one of the very, very best. She adds lots of face and scalp massage. It’s just different…. fantastic!!!I also had lash tinting and lash lift done by Chhaya and my lashes look long, dark and beautiful. This is great to have done anytime…. But during the summer, it’s so beneficial no need for mascara and eliminates that smeared mascara under your eyes. This feature lasts 4+ weeks.The Spa it’s self is very nice, I plan to go back in October for facial, eyelashes and massage.

Essential Spa of Orange City is amazing. We have gone twice for a couples massage. Both times have been the best. The atmosphere is serene. A true diamond in Orange City.

My fiancé and I just visited here and had a wonderful experience. It is a bit pricey in my opinion, but you get what you pay for. We spent about $350 for 2 massages and a reflexology and a facial. But overall we had a good experience, everyone was very professional and nice. Super clean and relaxing environment. Wont be able to afford going as often as I would like but we will definitely attend when we are financially able!!!!

I had a facial done twice here in the last 4 months and both times I had a great experience, Chhayaben is awesome and you can tell very passionate about what she does. I highly recommend her for your first or next facial, you won’t be disappointed.

When I called I ask for the package for two which is for a massage and facials. Came the day of the appointment and they booked solely for a massage, even though on the phone I confirmed it was specifically the package for two. The front desk didn’t even try and accommodate it, and the apology for the mistake was shy of sincere. While the massage was great, I was highly upset at the level of customer service provided considering that I had done this same package two years ago that went off without a hitch. I found another place for the facials that same day and that is now my new massage/facials/spa location called Jazz N Day Spa in Orange City.

The massage was good staff are always friendly. But we didn’t get taken until after our appointment time 5 minutes late and yet we were still done and out in 55 minutes and it’s supposed to be an hour massage with a pineapple foot scrub. Also they need to get rid of that horrible rectangle light in the couples room. Jillian had to cover my husband’s eyes because it is so bright and ruins the atmosphere.

My friend got couple massages for my husband and I as a wedding gift! I’m so glad that she did. My massage was excellent. Bret did a awesome job! I have no complaints!!! I will definitely go again. He made sure I was comfortable, and always asked was I ok. After leaving I felt amazing.

Cchaya not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly but man she’s gave me the best wax! I got my upper lip and arms done when I tell you I had zero bumps or breakouts. I usually do here and there from other places. She was thorough and gentle I just really appreciate people who actually do a good job without me needing to micro manage. She used two different types of wax one is more gentle for more sensitive areas. Thank you :)

Chhaya is the best! She will let you know which facial is best for your skin. My skin was glowing immediately after my facial. The spa is clean and relaxing. I would definitely recommend to anyone whos looking for a place to get some much needed self-care.

I was on vacation from Southern California was tight from surfing! I literally fell asleep that’s how good it was, I’m a retired firefighter after 28 years my body is a little beat up, my next vacation here to Deltona I know exactly where I’m going! Great and friendly staff. I had the couples massage, my husband and I felt comfortable the entire time there. We where in the same room. The room has a nice little fireplace, and plays relaxing music while you get your massage. The massage tables are heated and we’re pretty comfortable. Will be going back.

The staff were super friendly over the phone and found a last minute reservation for me. I had Marielle. She was quite amazing and helped get tons of tension out of my back. Ill definitely be going back and requesting her! Great spa, awesome decor and atmosphere. The lobby has beautiful art and fixtures. Very luxurious. Cant beat the amazing prices either! I booked a couples massage for my daughter and me being it was her first time she didn’t want to do it alone. First off the staff is excellent at answering questions and making you feel relaxed Angela and Jillian were EXCELLENT! My daughter and I were amazed at how relaxed we were. We will definitely be back in fact going to schedule a massage for my other daughter for her birthday!

This was my 1st Deltona Spa experience and Essentials Spa of Orange City did NOT disappoint! Was truly great from start to finish. Faith at the front desk, greets you so warm and welcoming. I then had my very 1st facial with Chaya and she was AMAZING! Made sure I was comfortable and explained everything, which was much appreciated. Afterwards, I had a Swedish Hot Stone Massage with Brett (Hope I spelled that right, I saw it listed 2 different ways) he too was FANTASTIC! I will definitely be going again and would highly recommend.

She asked where I had the most tension and was making sure everything was to the right temperature. As she massaged she felt the knots in my upper back and neck and truly worked her magic. The reason for the one star is due to the lack of customer service the girl who works in the front desk has. When I made my appointment for a couples massage I specifically asked for two female massage therapist, the day of our appointment we check in and that’s when she decides to tell me that one of the massage therapist is a male and that the female massage therapist had to take a flight. She was very rude and disrespectful about it didn’t even apologize for her mistake. It would’ve been fine if she just called me to let me know about the situation instead of waiting till we get there to let us know. Clearly she has no respect for customers time. Unfortunately this place lost our business.

I had an amazing experience again there!! The massage therapist asks all way through if it is ok with pressure and make sure not to do to light or to hard. They all are amazingly nice over there! Thank you! And will see you in 2 weeks for next one!!

From walking in the door here I had a bad experience. My boyfriend and I had both booked massages and I walked in at exactly my appointment time and he walked in a few minutes after me. Upon scheduling I was never told anything about arriving early or anything like that, I was just given a time. The staff was whispering under their breath and I could hear them complaining how this was going to mess up their schedule. It seemed we were nothing but an inconvenience to them. When I was called back I was even told that my massage was going to be cut short. All because I arrived right at my appointment time?! They are clearly scheduling things way wrong if it sets them behind this much. I felt rushed, not relaxed. I am 8 months pregnant so of course I booked a prenatal massage. Upon walking in the massage room instead of seeing the typical pregnancy donut pillow, I saw a furry body pillow and was told I would have to lay on my side. This is not how prenatal massages are done! It was extremely uncomfortable and I was laying on my arm and my head would barely touch the head rest the entire time. I even had to try to balance my huge 8 month pregnant belly and flip onto my other side on a skinny massage table in the middle of my massage. The table was also on extremely high heat which is not comfortable nor safe for a pregnant woman. Everything happening here indicates that the staff is not properly trained to be offering prenatal massage. When I explained this to the receptionist afterward I was told “well we ordered the the donut pillows, but they never came in” so they knew they were doing it improperly and they had me come in anyway?! Extremely unprofessional to offer a service you don’t have the equipment for and aren’t trained for. I definitely won’t be back

Went for a couples massage and we had Brett and Jillian. Jillian was amazing, best deep tissue massage Ive ever had. Honestly, pretty sure after her massage I have never actually gotten a deep tissue massage despite requesting and paying for them in the past. My boyfriend was very happy with Brett and thats saying a lot since hes had bad experiences with massages in the past. Highly recommend and we will be going back! The waiting area was stylish and inviting. The massage tables were larger than average and comfortable. They have a nice selection of options and add-ons. We both chose the biofreeze add-on and my boyfriend also added a back exfoliation.

From the moment we walked in, I felt like I was at home. We were greeted by a friendly woman at the desk. She introduced us to our massage therapists. The facility was spotlessly clean. I enjoyed my massage, as did my husband. My favorite part was the pineapple scrub on my feet. They felt so soft afterward. I highly recommend Essentials Spa and will go back.

Horrible. Nobody gave me the chance to discuss what type of massage I wanted. The masseuse didnt ask either, front desk and the masseuse blamed each other. I would rather rub lotion on myself than pay someone to do it for me. Before the massage I asked if I could add hot stone to my massage and he told me it would only take away time from my massage, which I wish I would have sacrificed. It took everything I had not to tell him to stop and let me up to leave. I clearly stated on my intake form, pain relief was my goal. I left feeling like I needed to stretch. He complained that the ac wasnt on and he was sweating so much he would look like he just got out of the shower while working I would have paid so much more money for a great experience, a day I was taking for myself that I never get to do,and yet I paid to have an amateur give me a worse massage than I could do by myself. They must give perks for people who rate this place 5 stars because I cannot comprehend how anyone could give this place 5 stars, it was genuinely the worst massage Ive ever had. And also felt disgusting after the masseuse told me how much he was sweating. Is it lotion or sweat youre rubbing on me for my money? Gross. Dont go here. Trust me.

Went in for a couple’s massage since my spouse and I do a lot of hiking, running and kayaking. Went in sore came out feeling incredible. They were really careful and helpful when it came to his past injuries. He opted for deep tissue massage and said he didn’t even think his back needed attention until they started to knead the knots out. Affordable and worth every penny, we’ll definitely be coming back regularly!

Had my first ever facial done today by Chhaya! She was so kind, so professional, and so thorough. I felt like a million bucks! She made my skin glow, and made me feel so relaxed. It was the perfect way to start off my Saturday. She also threads eyebrows beautifully! I think this may be the best my eyebrows have ever looked and I’ve been getting them threaded for many years. I am currently visiting in the Central Florida area and I really needed to get my legs waxed badly. The Spa, is essentially 4 minutes away from where I am staying and I saw that the reviews were good so I made an appointment via online. The spa is very cute, quiet and accessible. My wax tech was running late (which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5), but seeing how I didnt have anything else scheduled I did not mind. My waxer was wonderful, we chatted while she waxed my legs, she explained why she used soft wax instead of hard wax on my legs for me and she got every single hair. My legs are smooth and fuzz free. I definitely will go to this spa again whenever I need a leg wax.

Me and my husband went in for a Valentines Day couples massage. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The massage was fantastic. When we left we felt like a million bucks. We will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great massage , as well as we will be getting Gift Cards for family for Christmas:)

My massage was very nice. What I didn’t care for was the sign at the desk with the “suggested” gratuity amount. I always tip at least 20% on all services. The suggested amount started at $15 for good, $20 for great and $25 for excellent. The cost of my massage was only $55. I had no problem leaving $15 but was guilted into leaving $20. Which was a 38% tip. I think they should adjust their “suggested” gratuity sign and leave out the shaming of customers.

Chaya is absolutely the best! My eyebrows always look flawless when she threads them. She is very sweet, and personable. I dont go anywhere else for my eyebrows these days. Highly recommend. Shes done facials on me in the past and I was super pleased with those as well. Spa is always immaculate, and everyone is very friendly.

I’m changing my review after my last experience. I’m pregnant and needed a prenatal massage, I was told my original massage therapist couldn’t do it bc she wasn’t certified however, when I went in they told me the prenatal therapist was out so therefore my original therapist could do it. She did, & as always I loved having her. Second time I went in for another prenatal they told me I had to have the prenatal therapist so I gave her a chance. SHE LITERALLY JUST RUBBED LOTION ON MY BODY didn’t ask me about pressure. I told her my body ached from not getting good sleep esp my hips and my back and I literally paid for a 72 yr old to rub lotion on me. I asked the lady at the front if next time I could have Jillian & she sounded annoyed that I would ask such a thing and said “that last time wasn’t just a ONE time thing, she’s not certified for prenatal massages.” So I responded with “ok so no?” And she said “nope”. Walked out in tears bc I’m emotional when I’m pregnant and I just spent $70 on something my kid could of done for free or I could put done myself.My husband had to book another massage the very next day from a new place bc I got absolutely nothing out of it. He emailed them and never got a response. So they clearly do not care.

My husband and I were on a short vacation and were staying in the area. I made an appointment for a couples massage. Front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating. My masseuse was a tiny young lady who appeared to be new on the job and still learning. The hour long deep tissue massage I was so looking forward to, turned out to be an inconsistent, but fairly pleasant run of the mill relaxing massage. One side of my body was favored and worked on much more than the other, with my left arm and hand ignored and never touched even after I told her in the pre- massage meeting that was where I was experiencing pain and numbness. She did pinpoint and work out some pretty severe knots of tension in between my shoulder blades. I figure she just needs more experience and to build up her confidence so she is better able to get in there and dig in when a deep tissue massage is requested. My husband was satisfied, but underwhelmed with his masseuse and massage. We will be looking for another salon on future trips to that area. Also, while not really expensive (seemed to be in line with others in the area), they were not transparent about their fees while booking my appointment, but I didnt push the issue, either.

I came in here with so much excitement after I seen the reviews I do frequently get massages with a specific parlor but I decided to try something new because of how good the reviews look, The place is actually beautiful and the people at the front desk were very nice and professional. Now when it came to my massage as soon as this woman walked into the front office she started sighing, I just thought to myself I really hope I don’t get her because I could tell she was either frustrated or didn’t want to work. The woman then picked up my paper called my name and introduced herself she seemed nice, when my massage began I’m not sure what the situation is behind it but the woman was breathing on me heavy out of her mouth over me, I could not relax at all with that, as well as she mumbled alot under her breath, I almost wanted to just tell her I didn’t want the massage to continue but I didn’t wanna be rude. I also want to state that I paid for an hour massage and my massage started Late, and ended early. Need to say those combined were 20 min of a massage. 10 minute short of a 30 minute massage, but like I’ve stated I paid for an hour massage. The next day I called into the office and spoke to them at the desk and I told her my situation and I let her know I wanted to speak to someone about the situation, she told me someone would get back to me and I haven’t heard anything and it’s been over a week in a couple days. I guess they really just don’t care about it because the situation already passed and I paid but the customer service scale isn’t there. I obviously will not be returning here need to say for the lack of costumer service of an unhappy experience. Especially when I’m paying for a service and it is not completed 100 as requested.

This was my first time having Lisa!I appreciate her connection with the body and ones own narrative. The skill of a therapist goes beyond their choice of modalities. It is important to integrate the clients narrative and needs with the thearpy. Lisa was able to do that and I’m grateful. Most importantly, my body says “thank you☺️.” The release in the neck and upper shoulders are grateful!!!!

Lisa was FANTASTIC. The pressure was exactly what I hoped from a deep tissue, but she was sure to check in on my tolerance to suite the massage to fit me. I am definitely sore in my shoulders and back after my 1 hour deep tissue and I couldn’t be more thankful. I just finished 1 year of breastfeeding and needed to get some pain relief from carrying and holding our little one. I’ll be going back twice a month and I’ve already recommended my friends go. 10/10!

I bought a package on groupon and called to schedule my appointment. I arrived to a stylish and clean facility. My massage with Rose was good. I upgraded to a deep tissue massage. I only wish there was a little more focus on the knots in my back. Especially the 1 area that was giving me the most trouble. Still a relaxing massage nonetheless.My facial was amazing! Best Ive had! She really tailored it to my skin and I left with my skin looking amazing.I will definitely be back!

I’ve been here 2x now. Once for a Swedish massage and a deep tissue massage. Both technicians were excellent, very professional and made you feel really comfortable. Deep tissue was with John, he took the tome to work on my current problem area and kept checking on my comfort to make sure it was not too intense. He also discovered another area where my muscles were very bound up. We will work that area next week. I can say enough good things about this spa overall. It’s got the classy spa feel without the snootiness. And they seem genuinely concerned with your comfort and satisfaction

I have gotten several deep tissue massages at this location with different therapists that were very good, but today’s experience with Thomas W. was exceptional. Like with any massage, I began by telling Thomas about my problem areas. He was able to take it from there! He found areas that I didn’t even realize were tense, and explained to me how one area may impact another. He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable the entire time (checking to make sure the pressure and temperature of the hot towels was ok). He was able to relieve tension in my neck that prior therapists were either unable or afraid to work on.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! WARNING!! I received the WORST customer service, massage and facial. Upon arrival I completed the documents thoroughly and have explained some injuries I have. The massage was not relaxing nor was it a massage. It was simply a rub down with lotion. I did not receive a robe to go from one place to the other appointment so I was stuck freezing in my own clothes. It was extremely inconvenient that I had to remove my clothes just to put them back on and remove them again for the next service. My facial was horrible!!! I lost some hair because the esthetician was extremely rough and I was not relaxed at all! I left completely dissatisfied and STRESSED OUT! I keep coming back to this spa because I am satisfied with what my service. The environment is clean so I can get comfortable for my massage. I did get a facial once before and throughly enjoyed that experience as well. Overall solid place and decent price points.

Tonight was my second time here for a massage. This time I had YaBria & it was great. She asked me where I had the most pain & worked her way to get rid of it. I suffer from back pain due to scoliosis especially on my lower back & she was able to release all the tension/knots I had on my lower & upper back. She made sure I was comfortable & made me feel relaxed. This place is clean, professional & overall a great experience.

Rose was amazing! It was my first real time getting a full body massage. They made me super comfortable. The environment was so peaceful. I’m so glad I found them on Groupon. I am definitely going back!

I went in for a hour deep tissue and had the pleasure of being paired with Karen. Not only did she make me feel relaxed while receiving a deep tissue massage, she truly has a healing touch. I am in pain daily and left there feeling amazing. This spa is beautiful and the staff is very polite.

This was my first time at Essentials Spa of Orange City. I was greeted in a very professional manner. The staff were all wearing masks. I received an excellent service via my Groupon voucher. Everything was perfect for both my fiance and I for our couples massage. The only thing he and I would have liked is if they went a little harder/deeper. Like really get into those muscles because thats where all the knots that are bothersome are. But other than that, we had a great experience. It was his first time period,and my first time at that facility.

The esthetician is very professional and very knowledgeable she does an amazing job on threading my eyebrows. I would definitely recommend this establishment. Had a massage last month was also a wonderful experience youre listening to all things considered over all the decoration and cleanliness of the spa is very nice.

Had a couples massage here for the first time. The place is clean and the staff is nice. We chose the deep tissue massage and I must say Lisa found every stress area on my body. Definitely worth the money spent and we will be going back.

Okay so I’ve only been professionally massaged once before this appointment and this hands down was the best. Lisa has the hands of a miracle worker and I would strongly recommend her if your looking for the deep massage that you’ve always needed. Cant wait to go to her again!

I had a facial and body wrap with Cchaya (Aaaahhhhmmazing). I also had a fantastically relaxing massage with Elizabeth. Both were friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable. The temperature of the rooms were spot on, the lighting was perfect and facilities were modern and clean. Ive already made another appointment for more services.

This place is gorgeous upon walking in! They were able to schedule me for a massage and facial - same day! My experience was amazing! Starting with my Swedish massage, delightful and very relaxing! Then my microdermabrasion facial with Chhaya! She was seriously INCREDIBLE and I will be going back to her very soon!!!! She took her time, explained everything to me, recommended treatments, and made me feel so relaxed! Thank you all! You have a wonderful spa! Five stars!!!!!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new spa for Brazilian Wax services. I just finished up my appointment with Chhaya and I am extremely pleased with her services. She made the experience very comfortable for me which I really liked. The spa itself is very clean with upscale feel and the front desk personnel was very friendly. Ill definitely be back to explore other services!!

Environment good, only had 4 scents to choose from for aromatherapy, got a full body massage, head not touched, neck barely touched, gluts not touched, abdomen or front collar bone area not touched . Paid for an hour got 50 min .. not the best massage but ok

I had the best experience with Jilian today! Ive only had one other massage before a few years ago and my experience today topped that. Jilian made sure to make me feel very comfortable and walked me through the process, I left very relaxed and happy. Thank you again Jilian! The business was very friendly, clean, and inviting. Came for the first time on my birthday and left very happy. I chose the relaxation/deep tissue combo hour massage and Thomas was able to provide relief in my problem areas all the while creating a relaxing atmosphere. Also, loved the hot towel transitions too which helped my back relax as its a bit messed up after having epidurals with my kids. Will be coming back!

Lisa is amazing! She listens to what you want but is also able to listen to your muscles/body. She has the perfect amount of pressure and so professional. Cant say enough good things. Relaxing and a great price.

I had the best experience at essentials Spa in Orange City. First of all walking in to the Spa its already very clean and relaxing. Then back in the room it made me feel very comfortable. Not to mention my therapist did an amazing job! I definitely will be going back, and recommend this spa to everyone!!!!

Chaiya did an AMAZING job on my eyebrows! First time getting them threaded and she was so great with me. Very excited to schedule my upcoming massage and facial too! At these prices and with the friendly staff, you can’t beat it!
