Massage Envy

Massages are 50 minutes not a full hour. O gave 4 vs 5 star because my appointment was moved from 10am to 11 am . I planned my day according to a 10 am massage. I would have liked for another massage tech to attended me as having to rearrange and cancel other appointments because Massage Envy decided to move my appointment. And the compensation.....oil added to massage....it left me feeling devalued as a paying client.

I LOVE MY FACIAL DAYS 🥰💕 all thanks to the best technician Karen, she’s amazing and really professional.I’ve struggled with acne since young and my skin has never felt better. I always feel very happy and satisfied with her work. It’s obvious the experience and professionalism from her I feel like I get my time and moneys worth since she makes it feel like a luxurious spa experience , she also includes some AMAZING massages that just keeps me coming back! Not only do I get out with my face feeling clean and looking radiant but also feeling stress free and relaxed. The lady’s at the front are very sweet and make me feel welcome. Thank you !!

It should be required of staff to notify their customers 24 hours ahead if theres a change in staffing, especially if knowing that there was an issue days beforehand. I should not have to call to confirm an appointment at four oclock in the afternoon when my appointment is scheduled for 12 the next day.I was understanding, and okay with switching to a different time that day, until I got lied to about why they failed to notify me earlier. (I only knew of the issue because of a friend who had the same issue the day before. Shes the only reason that I bothered to call at all. Anyone who hasnt been to massage envy before wouldnt know that they send out confirmation emails and texts USUALLY 24 hours before. Not getting the text this morning was a red flag for one.My choices for appointment replacements were either during rush hour in the AM or the PM, or giving me a masseuse who last time cut my time by twenty minutes. (late getting me to the room and ending ten minutes early).If they knew this was going to be a problem I shouldve been notified earlier than I was. I couldve even come in today if theyd told me when they knew of the problem on Tuesday. Its lack of planning and care, for a place thats supposed to offer relaxation, that upsets me.

The place is clean and most techs are great. One time I noticed I didn’t get the full time allotted by a therapist, only shy of a few minutes, maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice. But that was once out of many times I been there. They’re all very professional and make me feel comfortable. At one point I had their monthly membership but stopped using the massages because life for me got hectic. Unfortunately, they told me my 6 unused 1 hour massages expired when I called to ask about it, and there was nothing they can do. I was hoping they’d at least offer half of them, or a gift card equivalent to the amount spent, or something, but they weren’t helpful at all with that. On me for letting them expire, but I think it’d be in better taste for customer service to offer something instead of taking $420 and offering nothing, leading me to give 4 stars instead of 5, and not renew my membership.

Robert was amazing!!! He focused on the pain points that I had, was deep tissue and very aware of how to find the tension and release it on my shoulders especially. I highly recommend him. He was professional and polite. The office staff was also kind and helpful.

I have been a member of Massage Envy for many years. Massage therapy is the only way I can relax!Always have a great experience and the care I need . Khotira and Elena are great therapists.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This is the 3rd time they have rescheduled my appointment because the Specialist is not available. I think its lies and the massage therapist picks and choose who they want to perform service on. Blatant racism is occurring at this location. And the customer service is lacking.

Horrible massage. Most of the massage was one handed. I had to ask her if something was wrong with her other arm. She said no, why? I said because youre not using it! It felt like the therapist didnt have any professional training.It felt like shes been practicing less than a couple years. The massage was more like a body rub. If I wanted a body rub, Id just go to a chinese massage where the skill and technique is usually better, more thorough, and more symmetrical, and they use all 2 hands and even two feet as well if you desire. Here at Massage Envy, T***a barely uses two hands, no elbows, and often just one hand at a time, spending an unequal amount of time in areas. SI have chronic pain issues, so I really appreciate skilled massage. It takes at least 10+ years of professional practice for a therapist to become good, in my honest opinion. Problem is, all the really good therapists are so sought-after that they are always booked far far out, and when traveling its always a crapshoot to find a good therapist on a whim.I wish massage places would list therapists bios and certifications so potential customers can decide ahead of time if they think the therapist would be a good fit for them.Also, I opted for the lavender essential oil aroma therapy upgrade, but I think it was forgotten, I didnt smell anything.

HORRIBLE PLACE.management should be replaced &Therapist DIHN was VERY unprofessional, awkward and had no idea how to give a massage. I walked out of my 60 min massage in 15 mins, thankfully I didnt sit through that. They are hiring literally just anyone on the streets with no experience. Ive never been in a situation where i walked out of a massage, I came to relax yet was in there stressed tf out!As I was explaining to management my experience, they did not care whatsoever about the situation. They stated that they would not charge me, which was quite obvious. Why would I get charge for a such a poor experience was not even in there for 10 mins, very unprofessional all the way around. Do not waste your time and money at this location.. Im lost for words right now

John is amazing if you need a massage or stretch book with him your stress and pain will be gone once he’s done He’s great and very professional 10/10 when it comes to John

I’m rating 2 stars because the person assisted my mom with her massage was terrible terrible, he was just there to be there. My mom told him where her pain was as at,he said she had to reschedule an appointment. And also seemed like he had finished eating because he kept burping and smelt like fish. He seemed bothered by mom or being their period, if that’s the case Juan Moreno you should look for a different job. Wasn’t courteous nor considerate.The reason I’m rating it 2 stars was because the manager nice lady, offered to set another appointment with David who was amazing the first time.

Been a member here for almost 2 years and the new manager is great. Tracey is always super kind and I see her helping out at the front desk all the time. 11/10 for the entire staff, every one of the therapists is great at their jobs. Facials and massages have always been great. Definitely recommend.

Ive been a member of this franchise for several years and I will be cancelling my membership. It has totally gone downhill. Save your money and go elsewhere. The customer service is awful. On more than one occasion have they told me a time over the phone only to book a totally different time for an appointment. The staff clearly doesnt pay attention or doesnt take their job seriously. I suggest going in person, scheduling an appointment, and asking for a physical print out. Do not trust what youre told over the phone. If you miss an appointment, they will charge you for a credit and not allow you to reschedule.

Need a facial? Go see Karen! She is AMAZING! Tracey the Manager is also AMAZING! So helpful, knowledgeable, and so nice! She knows her team and all of the services each provide, which allowed me to pick the best massage therapist to fit my needs. Highly recommend and this will be my home location going forward! 5 stars!

This location is the worst location. I have had my membership for years and they wonder why I do not come in monthly and use my membership. Who wants to come to a place meant for relaxation and get more stressed out. The staff every time I come has an attitude and act like they don’t want to work there. The Managers are a joke and talk about the customers to other staff. They don’t care if your not happy or have an issue and they will take your money no matter what yet waste your time they do this as a scam. You pay for 60 mins however by the time you get to the room and the therapist comes in your 20 mins down. They they stop 10 mins before. The staff doesn’t care to keep your business as they rather this place go down hill then provide the service we expect and pay for. It’s sad to know that since this is a franchise and the owners don’t care nothing will be done. Better spending your hard earn money at hand and stone or another private office that will respect you and give your better service. I have been to other massage envy and this one is surpass the worst one with customer service. It’s sad that businesses lack the knowledge that if your front staff is horrible it reflects on the entire company. Hopefully they realize they need to change their attitude and respect the customers and their needs. Even if you can’t do something to accommodate have a better attitude and try to do what you can don’t just say well regardless your being charged so do you want to do it or no. Like who wants to hear that and waste their money? Value a customer that works hard and supplies income to the place you work instead of making someone feel like well I get paid regardless whether you are satisfied or not. Just disappointed all around at this company. Definitely will use my left massages and end the monthly subscription as it isn’t worth it. Rather go to Hand and Stone that is close by as well then here. Nothing will change with a bad review but at least I’m able to warn others. Stay away take your hard earn money to another company!

4 stars because the massage was great the place was clean, quiet and relaxing.3 stars because I was asked if I wanted to add aromatherapy to the massage. At checkout I was not made aware of the cost. I was charged $40 to add drops of eucalyptus oil to lotion. $40! I thought as I exited the building, that was the total including the tip then I received a second notification from my credit card that $36 was charged and that was just the tip. $76 for drops of Eucalyptus oil and the tip. Never again and Ill let anyone that mentions this place know to watch out for hidden charges.

Management is the worst!! A therapist (Dhan) coughed a few times before beginning my session and I advised I was uncomfortable and asked if he had a mask. Especially because he advised that he does “healing therapy” which meant he would be breathing heavier than normal. How can anyone be comfortable after hearing this??He stated he didn’t have a mask but would speak with management. She came into the room to speak with me and said she would give him a mask and asked if I wanted to proceed. I said that would be fine. Once he entered the room, I wanted to verify he would be able to complete my full 50 minute session, as time had already passed because of the health safety concern I had. He said he wouldn’t be able to accommodate the full session due to another client being scheduled after me. I advised I didn’t want to proceed with services based on the circumstances. The manager stated I would be charged for a full session due to same day cancellation. I expressed my concerns as to the nature of me cancelling was because of the employee coughing and my fear of getting sick was heightened. To say the least, she unapologetic, rude and condescending. I’ve sent an email to corporate and left a message in hopes that they’ll return my call soon. I specified the nature of the incident and how I wanted my membership canceled due to terrible management. Her behavior is not a reflection of all massage envy locations but it is enough for me to never be associated with that brand or business again.

Its amazing all of the staff here are just so wonderful! From the front desk to all of the masseuses! Never had a bad massage. This is the place to go if youre looking for relaxation. Only about $60 a month if you get the membership let them know I sent you. 😏

My Husband and I have been members of this location Hunters Creek for than 6 years;we recently canceled our membership June 13 2023 via e mail and the manager on duty received our membership cancelation same day ; we called to verify. He assured us that we would not have to wait the 10 days for the cancelation to be effective. We were charged for the monthly fee of $130.00 June 18 2023 for the membership that had been canceled 5 days prior June 13 2023. Today June 22 2023, I spoke to another manager at the same location and she would not retrack the $130.00 charge insisting that the 10 day cancelation policy was in effect. Highway Robbery! Why would this ME location charge a canceled account $130.00 knowing that the client would not be able to use those funds.

Khotira is the massage therapist I have been going to for almost a year now. She has help me after my hand surgery to relieve the pain. Im a so relaxed when I leave. I would recommend her for the best massage ever.

I relocated to FL and thought I would give this company a try. However, when I booked my appointment, I didnt realize I had booked a location two hours from my home. I called to cancel my appointment, and the lady I spoke to asked was I aware of the cancellation fee? I said no, and she said its 100% of your service to cancel even though I explained to her what happened. Not to mentioned I had to call twice because the first time I called, that lady hung up on me during the call. I am glad I canceled because this wasnt a good potential customer experience.

This place is so dishonest. I’ve had a membership for years, they decided to remove over 10 accumulated section. Because now it has an expiration date. Im so disappointed

I have the best massage therapist! If you book an appt. ask for Aaron! He listens and takes cares of you. I book months in advance to get only him. The staff is also nice and caring. My only issue with the Hunters Creek location is that it doesnt feel clean. My allergies act up when Im there and its hard to get a massage when youre sneezing or stuffed up. In my opinion when you enter a Massage Spa it should smell refreshing and relaxing not stale and dusty.

I had the best experience by far with my massage appointment today! Carmen was absolutely amazing and the sweetest and helped book the appointment and gave me information about the membership and after my awesome massage with Aaron. I met Bibi and she was also amazing and sweet. Both her and Carmen were very informative and were interested in my experience and were very positive and had such great and positive energy! I signed up for a membership and will definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome experience!!

Today I went for a massage, I wanted to say that John was amazing !!!! so Friendly , Kind, professional. I was told he was new .he is a great addition. I dont want to forget BIBi she was very kind and in informative. I will be back

Editing to add that while Jameel is unfortunately no longer there, the location is still amazing! Highly recommend Richard and Melinda for massage/stretch and Alex for facials!I’ve been working with Jameel for a few months and his level of service is phenomenal. I’ve never had a massage therapist who listened to my needs so intently and delivered on developing a plan to treat and solve my pain as opposed to just providing temporary relief through regular massage techniques. I cannot possibly recommend him enough, especially if you are dealing with long term pain! All of the staff at this location are friendly and professional, and they do a great job of making me feel welcomed remembered every time.

Robert is absolutely amazing. He is very gentle and firm at the same time. If I came back it would only be because he is great at what he does. Overall my experience was good. I had a gift card for my birthday so I decided to go to this location because I was on vacation even though Im from NC. The only reason I took 2 stars off was because after you or massage when you pay I feel as though the employees try to shove memberships down your throat. Like when you first tell them no, they dont accept it so they keep trying, and like youre so relaxed from your massage you dont wanna deal with that after.

Ive been to this location 3 times. Everyone is always very friendly and accommodating. Typically can get you in same day or next day. I always schedule my visit with Maria, who has many years of experience. She is knowledgeable and kind. Her techniques have me leaving there like a new woman. The pressure she applies is just right. I signed up for a membership after my first visit with her. I definitely would recommend adding lavender oil during massage and foot sugar scrub! Maria takes pride in her craft and I can truly tell! I highly recommend Maria for your next massage!

BUYER BEWARE! I am a member of the massage Envy in hunters Creek , Florida and have been for quite some time. As of late I have experienced that its nearly impossible to get a session. When I spoke with management and the owner Mark Mooney they let me know that they are having a staffing issue. They do not have enough massage technicians to serve their over 2,000 members in this location. Therefore Im paying for a membership and services that they cannot fulfill the service for. Essentially they are stealing my money. How it is my fault or my problem that your company cannot staff correctly in order to meet demand. I started this membership for wellness treatments the stress that this has created is detrimental to my health and all I want is to get out of this and get a full refund.If you are considering getting a membership at this location or maybe any massage Envy location buyer beware.If you are experiencing the same type of experience not being able to utilize your membership that you paid for please look on Facebook for the massage Envy class action lawsuit group. We are organizing a team of lawyers to fight this injustice.

I had the BEST massage ever with Nadia but she’s no longer there. I did find her though. She’s at J Sterlings Spa on OBT in Hunters Creek. Then I used to see Sadiel and I found him. He is at J Sterlings in Winter Park!!! Thank God

I have been to several massage envy locations in the central Florida and Tampa. The service at this location wasnt bad, but it wasnt great either. The area itself is very nice and kept up well. There is parking on the side of the building and I didnt have a problem finding a place to park. The front office area was similar to most Massage Envy locations (lots of products that they are trying to sell). The relaxation area was fine, nothing exceptional to note.I made my appointment the day before and was booked with a male therapist (which I prefer). When I arrive for my massage, a totally different person got me from the relaxation room. The receptionist didnt see an issue with this when it was mentioned on my way out. I asked for one type of massage and she did something totally different. I mentioned to her several times during the service that I asked for a deep tissue, but she did something different anyway. At the end of the massage, she explained that she thought that what she did would be better for me. Unfortunately, thats not what I asked for and I dont pay for opinions at Massage Envy. I took it all in stride, but it was unprofessional to not inform me that I would have a different therapist, then worst that the person did their own thing. This was my first and last experience with this location....and considering some of what Ive seen related to the lawsuits this company in several states, Im probably done with them all together.

Happy with the service but I wish they could handle my gift voucher situation better. I had a therapist session with Jameel today and he did a great job. He’s extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend him. I had requested to freeze my account till June due to the COVID situation, but my husband surprised me and got me 4 massage session vouchers for Christmas. I explained to the front desk that I would like to use the vouchers up first. They told me in order to do that, I’ll need to pay a $10 fee to keep my membership active. If I’m not a member, then I can use them anytime without a fee. So why would this rule make scene? Why am I being penalized as a member to use the voucher? I was a happy customer until I hear that, so I ended up canceling my membership to avoid this fee. I wish they could handle this situation better. Autumn M

I had a gift card and have been holding in to it for months !!! My husband was super excited telling me he had such a great experience when he went in and bought the gift card. Telling me how amazing it smelled in there and how friendly and amable the ladies where in the front when he walked in to purchase my gift card !!! I booked my appointment witch was not easy with there not being many spots open for weeks at a time. The gentleman at the front when I walked in wasn’t what my husband had explained it was like when he walked in. I got a half welcome an iPad and a sit down. I had also asked for an accommodation because I’m of the larger size and figured I’d let them know at the from so they could take the edge and anxiety off of me trying to explain again the accommodations to my masseuse. He also told me I had to tell the masseuse my self. I had also asked him a question about what’s a professional way to tell the masseuse that I’d like it to be quite in the room and he says well idk you’ll have to just try to say it the least rude it can sound I guess and wakes me to a room and told me to wait. No explanation of the process nothing. My masseuse comes to get me we go into this little room that smelled like an old closet not what I would expect from a massage place as big as massage envy. Honestly will not be retuning to this location what so ever. The energy was not what I expected and it’s sad because I came here with the want to find something to spoil myself with from time to time. My masseuse did his job nothing more nothing less. Sad this was the experience I had here my first time. But I guess off to try to find another business with more of the energy that should be had when working in this industry. They only get 3 stars because the masseuse was nice.

I see Maria consistently. She is always happy and smiling. After asking specific questions, she concentrates on the problem area I mention. Amazing!!

I have no words for the way my spouse was treated today!! Tracy is the worst!!! How dare you disrespect a paying customer!!! You should be ashamed of yourself. I believe the horrible reviews left about this place because I was witnessed today. The fact that you feel it is ok to be disrespectful, rude, and unapologetic is beyond me. Then you proceed fraudulently charge her card??? We need answers and an apology! This is RIDICULOUS and lets not even discuss how you tried to threaten her!

Massage Envy is a great option for monthly/ routine massages. They are kind, attentive and very professional. I have had more than I can remember massages, at all price points, and I can honestly say I had the best massage by Kara at Hunters Creek Massage Envy! I had asked for deep, and was pleasantly surprised how amazing her pressor was through the entire experience. This was the first time I wasnt longing for deeper pressure. (I am not a vocal person) Throughout the full massage I could feel tension releasing and she really focused on troubled areas but not to the point that I felt other ares were missing out. Incredible technique, would highly highly recommend!

Maria provided a great massage experience and has proven to be consistent during each visit. I look forward for my next visit.

Disappointed and very angry !!!!!!! I closed for my husband a massage about a month and a half ahead of schedule, for two hours, a surprise in honor of his birthday. I gave his full details, a number of calls were made we built to see that everything went smoothly because I closed it out of the country and wanted him to have a surprise (there are recorded phone calls we had several times). When the time came, my husband drove there for 45 minutes excited about the two hours he had been waiting for, and when he arrived they did not know who it was. They claimed that there was no such name, and could not have been coordinated in advance, and then a girl came and whispered to the girl at the counter who knew who it was, and then the version changed !!!! They told him that the queue was canceled, and tried to call him several times (needless to say it is not true) and lets say it is true, if you did not catch the owner of the cell phone number listed why did you not call the subscriber ????? And if there is no such name in the system then how did you suddenly try to call him and let him know? You do not have any details of him !!!! Although we have built a number of calls, and coordination written in the email. Im very angry !!!! This was supposed to be an experience and turned into a big embarrassment !!!!! Ruin his birthday surprise and me all the hassle! Shame !!!!Response to the owners response - I will not call as I do not recommend anyone to come to this place. If you really cared, you would take care of it yourself. For this conversation, correct your mistake after the great embarrassment and sadness you have made. I do not have to call and explain myself. You are the ones who need to fix what is happening and take care of the situation. Thats the least you can do!

The massage therapists are fantastic always and I never have a problem with the massage itself; however the front desk staff is not on the ball and it becomes a hassle every time. I have been a massage envy member for several years and have been going to several locations along the east coast and in the mid-west. Never have I once had an issue with any of them...but since I have moved to this area, I have been to this location perhaps a total of 10 times and every time the therapists are great, but the front desk staff either forgets something or messes up something with my appointments. I was embarrassed when I scheduled a massage for a guest and myself that they accidentally cancelled my guests massage or mistakenly scheduled my appointment for the wrong time. They never seem to have appointment slots when I need them and recently they charged me for my appointment saying I had no unused membership massages left but after calling and speaking to someone about my account I actually have several unused free massage sessions backlogged which they did not use. After calling back they told me the manager would have to handle my refund but werent aware that I wanted to use my available free sessions or pay out of pocket. It is with sadness that I will be cancelling my membership after so many years because of this location. While there are other locations, this one was more than convenient. If they open another one closer to my location, perhaps I will restart my membership.

Ive been to other offices in this franchise and they seem to be more put together in regards to administrative details. I.e email responses, front desk team knowledge ( it took several months to get my online access) Ive also made appointments in office and when I went to confirm on a different visit they had magically disappeared

Ingrid ensured that I left relived. She was able to find stress and knits that I did not feel and she released them. I left feeling more alleviated then ever and Ive been to massage parlors all over the country. This is the best one yet.

Management here is terrible. Instead of working with someone who has Covid like symptoms they force a cancelation and take your money. Theyd rather you come in and get their staff sick then reschedule your appointment. Taking my business elsewhere, preferably where management has compassion and understanding during these times.

Fraudulent charges on my credit card after cancellation. After my therapist passed away I cancelled membership and suddenly started getting charged again. I reached out via email, in person when I submitted cancelation paperwork, and via phone and have not only not received a refund, but I have not received a return call, I refused to get transferred to a manager when I call and not return email. Beware of this place and their new manager, I’m not surprised that therapist keep leaving.

I’ve been to 4 massage envy locations in FL and NY and the hunter’s creek location is the best by far. The front desk staff and professional and friendly. Jameel is absolutely gifted. He is more than a masseuse he is a healer. He has helped with my mobility issues as well as migraines. I highly recommend seeing him if any chronic pain issues.

My daughter and I became members over 6 months ago. We have enjoyed the friendly staff, quiet and relaxing facials and chemical peels and massages we have received. Michelle is awesome as she really knows her stuff and how to tailor the facial or chemical peel to your needs and outcome. Love being able to enjoy a 60 minute facial or massage every month. It is nice to pamper yourself once in a while.

As a member at this location for over a decade I’m sad to say this place has gone completely downhill. Cutting corners and hiring poor management has finally caught up with them when it comes to their image. I’ve been a member since this place opened their doors & have been loyal to this place over the years. Unfortunately with the insane hike in membership fees there is no loyalty in return back to their customers. You’d think the manager would at least return your phone call after two requests were made to do so. No wonder why they’re getting more cancelled memberships than signups or retaining their loyal cliental. Such a shame, the owners need to wake up before this place runs itself into the ground.

All of the staff has been amazing at this location! Only good things to say from my experiences, & I’ve worked with several therapists here. I’ve had a membership here for nearly the whole year, & my last session was just above & beyond. I had to come on here and give a well deserved review!

Aaron did a great job. And paid attention to my shoulders and neck.When visiting Orlando again I would book another massage with him.

I went in for a 90 minute full body massage; and I loved it. My massage therapist, Kara, was amazing; she did a wonderful job. I was sore from the gym, and daily stress/tension, and left feeling renewed and refreshed. Ive been to a separate Massage Envy location and that experience left much to be desired, but this was a far cry from that, I will definitely be back.

My massage therapist, Jameel, is outstanding. He goes above and beyond to meet my needs. In every session, he asks questions and listens to my reasons for coming in. He is very good at explaining the science behind what is going on as well as recommending things to try at home. He is easy to talk to and has made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. In years of back pain, I have never been able to find a solution until now.

First Timer at Massage Envy, such a nice experience. I had a 60 minute Facial with Olga and it was Amazing!!. Olga was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. This was my second time visiting this location. The first time wasnt bad, but this time I wasnt impressed. The girl came and got me 15 minutes late. She wasnt very good either. I told her whole body and she spent most of the time on my neck and head. My neck is now extremely sore. At times it felt like all she was doing was playing with my hair, at one point even pulling on my ponytail, moving it around. My appointment was at 4:00 and she didnt get me until 4:15 and by 5:00 she was done. Im not impressed that I spent money on this, plus had to leave her a sizable tip on top of it. I came out of there feeling worse than when I went in.

The overall experience being a member has been great. Jennifer’s deep tissue massage by far the most helpful for tightness and overused muscles. I strongly recommend everyone to get a massage once a month for overall good health because you will definitely feel great.

I have many credits from paying the monthly service and not being able to get an appointment for any same week services. I stopped my membership because of lack of availability of appointments, and now they wont let me use the 4 credits i have already paid for unless i continue to pay the $60 a month membership fee. Crazy how they wont let you use something you have already paid for if you dont give them more money to continue a membership that they can never follow thru with appropriate staffing so customers can use what they have already trusted and paid for. I have called to speak to a manager several times always being told one is not available and someone will call me back,, no call yet .. Beware of joining a membership here they will still your money and if you stop them from taking your money where they cant follow thru worth they product they penalize you for there lack of service. Beware DO NOT JOIN AS A MEMEBER !!!!!!! UNDER STAFFED Management will not follow thru with basic customer service !!!

This is my first experience with Massage Envy and I must say I am impressed. Jameel is the guy to request when you get there. He’s kind, listens and is such a professional. I came in feeling so much pain on my left side. He evaluated me and confirmed misalignment in my waist. He made adjustments and in no time I felt relief. Additionally, I received the best massage ever. Hopefully, my wife doesn’t read this. LOL. But definitely I signed up as a member just because of Jameel. He’s awesome. Thanks Massage Envy.

Well for starters the appointment was scheduled for 4:00pm not 4:20pm. When the appointment was scheduled over the phone, I requested a female therapist which was available. When someone finally did come back it was a male therapist… No other location has been a problem including ones in Sarasota, Tallahassee, and Louisville, Kentucky.

The Massage Envy at Hunters Creek is awesome. Everything from the check in, massage and check out is an A+. I have been there 4 times now. The therapist Aaron specifically does an amazing job. I play golf 4-5 days a week and a need deep tissue massage. Aaron is the best!

Clean establishment and friendly staff but the massage was lacking. The blanket didnt come off a single time for the lower half of my massage. You dont get walked out after your massage, they dont give any recommendations following the massage (drink water, you might have sore muscles, etc.). The hot towel was only left on for a minute or two. Ive been to top spas in the US and in comparison the massage was overall disappointing.

After having gone through some massage therapists who did not do too good a job, I did some thorough research to see which massage therapist was good. After seeing amazing reviews about Jameel, I decided I would give him a try, and he did not disappoint! Upon entering the room Jameel noticed immediately that my hip alignment was off by the way I stood, and quickly helped to put it back into alignment. During my massage he also noticed some trigger points which were causing me pain and he helped to alleviate those as well. Never have I had a massage therapist who was so knowledgeable and loved his job like Jameel did. I can not stress enough how great he is, although this review might mean you might be taking up my spot in his schedule, he deserves a lot of credit! So don’t second guess yourself, go and see Jameel! I can not wait for my next appointment!

This was my third visit to the spa. Today was special, I was serviced by Jameel. He brought tears of joy to my eyes. I suffer from fibromyalgia as well as migraines and TMJ, and other ailments.He is the first to work on Trigger points and the relief I am experiencing is improving by the day.I have been treating my pain incorrectly and he has opened my eyes to a better option with lasting results. I went to get a massage with my friend. It was our first time going. I booked my appointment over the phone. i was never offered or told about the first time visitors price. While checking OUT thats when the ladies decided to tell me about the prices. If i was offered or told about the prices i would of used my gift card out. My service was good he did short me 10 minutes from my massage.I dont know if thats something they always do because the did it to my friend also. The female that service my friend only smelled of cigarette. It was very unprofessional and uncomfortable for her.

DO NOT BUY ANY 60 MINUTE COUPON/ GIFT, the massage takes less than 60 minutes and the quality was not as expected. Then they charge you additionally because the 60 minute coupon has a “$51 value” but I asked the person that gifted it to me and she paid more than $51. Honestly, I would suggest to buy a Groupon from a spa.

My client gave me a free massage as a gift and I decided to go to the hunters creek location because it’s close to me, I just got done with my massage and I’m sad to say it was a terrible experience, just the masseuse, the front desk girls were lovely, but the gal that massaged me was not very hospitable. I work at a spa so I understand how the service should look like. The moment she picked me up, she was not friendly at all, i understand it’s late I do but please don’t take out your stress on me. The massage had no flow whatsoever, it felt so abrupt, it felt like she was going as fast as possible and staying on areas I didn’t want to focus on, it felt like an Indian burn like when you rub the skin so hard but don’t have enough lotion, at least it probably exfoliated my skin. I was even considering a membership possibly because I really do love the waiting area and my first experience when I walked in. I wanted a relaxing massage and it hurt to be honest, I actually feel worse than I did going in (I’m not exaggerating) also she didn’t even say bye nothing just said I could get dressed didn’t say thanks for coming, nothing, and it’s my first time there I don’t know what’s going on lol. No direction at all. I just kind of found my way out. Sad.

Having seen Jameel the last 2 times, I can honestly say that you won’t get a better massage. With the correct pressure Jameel knows exactly the right areas to work on. I am continuously impressed by the professional and attentive care he provides each time I go. Needless to say I would highly recommend Jameel.

Im giving this place 5 stars because of Jameel. Hes the only massage therapist I go to. Ive been seeing him for over 3 years now. Hes the reason I became a member at Massage Envy.Ive always had very tight shoulders and lower back pain. I usually dont get massages for relaxation, its more for pain management. In the past, when I had massages elsewhere, I never saw any change and usually left feeling the same. Ever since I started coming to Jameel, my shoulder pain and lower back issues have become tremendously better. Ive felt such a difference and I dont have the same kind of pain anymore. Jameel doesnt do a typical massage, which is what I really like. He listens to all my concerns each time I see him. He works to realign my hips for my lower back pain and then helps my tight shoulders by using light pressure on specific knots to really target all my problem areas.Jameel is a great person to see if youre having any sort of pain. Hes very knowledgable and professional. He genuinely cares and wants to help. Ive never felt like just another customer when I see him. He takes the time to figure out my issues and always helps me to fix them. I would recommend any friend/family member to see him any day.

Let me start by saying the Lee vista location is closer to me but I rather come here because the way they treat you here ive never seen at a ME before. Carmen took care of everything for me she recommended LISA which she did an amazing job. Not to soft, not too hard. But if you request a deep tissue she is up for the task and can accommodate as well. Love how varied she can be. And last but not least the manager. I forgot her name. Oops. But she has a spanish last name, blond short hair. This location wouldn’t be what it is without her!! Runs a tight ship with professionalism and respect. Keep up the good work!!!

About 5 years ago, I walked into massage envy practically broken, barely walking with a cane. In those 5 years, Jameel has worked miracles with my chronic back pain, caused by spinal stenosis and herniated disc. My pain and physical limitation have greatly improved since I’ve been under his care. When I do have a flare up, he can get me back on track in a couple of sessions. He truly is my miracle worker. In my opinion he is more than a therapist, he is a healer.

The front desk staff was very nice, and the massage service was very good, but 90 minutes was really about 75.

Due to scheduling conflicts on my end, Ive had to end up seeing 3 different therapists at this location. All 3 were absolutely amazing and very friendly. I drive an hour to get to this location and its worth it for me.

I always leave as a satisfied customer from check-in to the massage and checkout. The staff is always friendly. Although the LMT who always did my massage for more than a year is no longer there, I will continue to get my sessions at ME because of their service and professionalism.

I had a wonderful massage given by Aaron Heilmann. Aaron took time before and after to ask questions so he could meet my needs and concerns. He asked me periodically how the pressure was throughout my massage and was very intune to where my trouble areas were. He flowed perfectly from one area of my body to another which made my experience very very relaxing. I will definitely come back AND request Aaron again!

WARNING - MASSAGE ENVY THINKS NERVE DAMAGE IS NORMALSustained multiple nerve injuries at another location (SoDo) but because I originally signed up at the Hunters Creek location - I had to attempt to resolve the issue with this office. After the injuries received, I of course want to cancel my membership. Multiple times, I was offered up free services to remedy the issue. Free services at the same company that gave me nerve damage? No thank you. I said I wanted to cancel my membership and that also, I wanted a refund on my pre-paid, unused sessions. They couldnt have been less helpful - they refused to refund me because it was against their normal policy. I yet again said that I wouldnt be cancelling if not for my injury, and that it wasnt fair to literally add insult to injury by also losing out on the money I had paid for unused services because of this. Again, they said that was not their normal policy and refused. We are now moving forward with a BBB claim. And then Small Claims Court. And then potentially a trial. Whatever it takes to get a normal resolution from this horrible incident.So please - take this warning from me. Know that Massage Envy thinks its normal to get injured. They think its normal to want to cancel your membership for getting injured. Because after all, if that wasnt all normal, then why would they be sticking to their normal policy?DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND MONEY

They have poor communication amongst each other when you have a membership. You have to go through hoops to transfer your massage from one location to another. They didnt want to resolve my issue. The massages are good though.

Jameel has been THE best for me. I used a wheelchair & walker for 6 years. Physical therapists nor neurologists could help me. Jameel, upon meeting me, immediately identified my left hip was moved forward. He massaged me with a technique that adjusted my hips and I can go about a month walking normal again. I havent had to use any assistive devices and walked all of Universal with no problems. He didnt disappoint my best friend when she visited. He adjusted her, too. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!

I have seen Jameel several times over the past 2 years. He is excellent at identifying the cause of any issues that are causing me discomfort. He determines the type of massage he provides after having asked me if Ive had any areas that are uncomfortable, etc. He is fantastic and I recommend Jameel highly!

I just had a therapeutic massage with Jameel and it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I originally went in to address leg soreness from walking around Disney for a week. Within 30 seconds of me getting on the table, he identified my issues (by sight and feeling my muscles) and with my permission, started to address them skillfully and effectively. He really knows the body well and is incredibly skilled at what he does. He’s also impeccable at sheet draping. Jameel is the real deal and I’m so grateful to have found him.

Jameel can figure out issues your Physical Therapist cant figure out. He also worked out plantars fasciitis when my doctor said I needed surgery on both feet.

It was okay not great. It was a great experience though. It a little pricey for the amount of time.

I have chronic pain and have been living with it for many years. I have tried many types of treatments and nothing has worked. I was told about Jameel and made an appt. right away. I was skeptical BUT desperate. In one painless session, he re-aligned my hips, took the knot out of my neck, and worked magic on my back. I havent felt this good in a very long time and all without meds on board! Jameel has such a great nature and actually listens to what I have to say. I would recommend him to anyone that suffers from any kind of pain.

Ambar is a true life saver. I have had issues with my hips being off due to my sacrum moving. At $55 a session I have chosen not to see a chiropractor multiple times a week. I instead go in for massages a few times a month .I have had many therapists and not many know how to correct it which makes it very frustrating. A therapist can give a great massage..and if my hips arent back in line..I am still in pain.Each time I go in... Ambar does simple excercises with me that help a lot and before I walk out ..she makes sure my hips are even. This shows that she really goes above and beyond in her craft and listens to her guests and doesnt give the same massage to every guest. It saves me a lot of worry and pain and she is teaching me excercises that will benefit me throughout my life. Thank you Ambar! You are a true asset to Massage Envy!

Great place to take a family and get local Florida items. The kids enjoyed the ponds and the animals. I really enjoyed the numerous amount of jams, jellies, and honeys the business sold. Absolutely will be going back.

Not a good experience. My massage was more of a 2 finger stroke and no flow at all. Kept grinding my tendons and muscles over my bones. Would fly hands off of my arms and legs. No kneading or strokes whatsoever. Didnt really touch my neck even after me saying im tight from shoulder blades up and asking her to focus on my Neck.

Jameel is the best therapist I have ever had! He practices trigger point therapy which for me is essential for my health. I am a dental hygienist and I spend 9 hours a day turning my head and neck to the left. Jameel always listens to my concerns and I never leave without feeling 100% better! I would highly recommend Jameel!!!

Kara is extremely relaxing and hits the tension spots good. Trixie gives a great massage overall. I recommend all these people for sure! Wanda is just very very amazingly relaxing and super nice.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! They billed my CC saying I joined their membership. I was there 6 MONTHS AGO!! They told me I had to sign papers before I went back, told them I wasnt joining anything and they took it upon themselves to auto bill my CC anyways. A really great massage. Took a full body, one hour massage it was really good. Wished it could be a bit longer as it was so relaxing.At first I thought I passed the place, but it was fairly easy to find.

Please do not sign a contract with them they will tell you, you can cancel whenever you want but once its time to cancel they will give you the run around. Every time I call they tell me that a manager will call me back I have yet to speak to a manager! Massage envy Sucks! They are more about the money then the customer.

Jameel is the only person I would go to for a massage now. There is no one who can completely take out the knots and pain like him. He clearly knows his stuff.

After my first visit I bought a membership and I have been going regularly since. The ambience is so perfectly curated and everyone that works there is wonderful and professional.

I had a great massage at this place with a girl called Natalie however the Noise Within the walls was disrupting because I was trying to relax and kept hearing conversations go on on the other side of the wall so it was so loud that you could barely hear the relaxing music at sometimes I expressed it to the manager and I also expressed it to my massage therapist I hope that in the future this will be taken care of for the clients sake
