Annas Massage Therapy

I DON NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. This past weekend I went to Annas Massage Therapy for the first and only time. I do not know who my massage therapist was, however the massage was very intense. I ended up having bruises on the back of my neck ,my neck and back were swollen, great pain just to try to touch. I am still feeling discomfort in neck and back.If I could give no stars I would. In order to post a review you have to give at least one star.

Finally found a good one ! After two disappointing massages I made an appointment with Anna’s massage and they did not disappoint. I had Kevin he did a wonderful job just the right amount of pressure and helped my neck and shoulders to finally feel relief. I will be back 😊

Kevin was amazing! Really listen to my body, and spent extra time in all my problem areas. Great pressure and therapeutic. Very grateful I found this place!

The environment here is so welcoming and kind. Julie is the best! I seriously was stumbling in the parking lot because of how great the massages are. I love this little gem so much

I was in there for a 10 am massage today. the massage was good but Im annoyed by what took place during checkout. I gave Anna $80 and asked for $5 back. Thereforethis would pay for my $65 massage and $10 tip. I thought this was fair and Im low on money so thats all I could tip. she said- thats really low... so what your saying is dont come in if you cant pay $15 for a tip because we will make you feel bad. I know for a fact some people do not tip at all. Bottom line is dont come in here unless you have $80 for a $65 or you will be made to feel terrible. Id go somewhere else.rip at all. needless to say wont be coming back and Ill be sure to let everyone I know how I was treated. if was very unnecessary.

I love this place. Its so peaceful and welcoming. The therapist are super nice, you can go in for a 15 min chair massage on days that you are looking to just have a nice quiet spot on your lunch break. The reflexology is one of a kind. I thoroughly enjoy it all. The best part is they are the cheapest in town. Thanks so much Annas for always making me feel so relaxed and at less stressed.

I have never received a better therapeutic massage. They are consistently exceptional. Also courteous and punctual.

I love this place and these therapists are the best. Michael is my favorite although all the therapists are very good and the male therapists exceptional. They know what theyre doing . They are very professional and highly skilled in their trade. If you go anywhere else youre wasting your time and money. This is #1 best place in. Tampa bay for massage therapy.

Anna is amazing! My husband and I see Anna for the most professional and therapeutic massages. We have been seeing her for almost 2 years now and are so happy that she has her own business now which turned out beautifully. It’s brand new and a very relaxing atmosphere. My mother in law and father in law also frequent this establishment. I have close friends and family as well who I’ve referred here and also enjoy their experience. Pricing is the best in the area considering what you’re receiving. They are experienced and compassionate. Looking forward to our next appointment with Anna.

I love Anna and this whole place. I was very reluctant, have a lot of anxiety and didnt like being in a little room all closed up so I started with a chair massage. They are so understanding there. Started with a 15 min chair massage. I am a regular now. Im comfortable there. Sometimes the therapist will say would you like to go a little longer, I actually did 30 minutes one day. I have bad neck and shoulder issues. Annas place has been a life saver for me. They do take walk ins but I usually call and she says come right over. Such a nice atmosphere and family. Highly recommend.

Pros: Price is below average for the area. Quick scheduling over the phone. They were able to get me in less then 24 hrs. I believe they take Walk-ins. The guy at the front desk is very polite. Overall good Customer service. Ellie did my massage very professional. Was nice that they included hot stone in the deep tissue massage. I really liked the hot stones.Cons: This was the most painful deep tissue massage I have ever gotten. I got my massage a week ago still sore in the problem areas. I have some bruising on my leg that I believe is from the massage. She realized I was in pain and adjusted to medium pressure which was still extremely painful. I have a higher pain tolerance then most people.I will be spending the extra $10 to go some where. But hope other people have a better experience!

I just got out of my first massage with Annas Massage Therapy. I was pleasantly surprised. Michael did a great job and he was fast. I feel like a got a great bang for my buck. Ive been to several other massage therapists before so I knew that Michael was doing a good job. I will definitely be coming back.

I have been looking for months for a good massage and a co-worker mentioned Anna’s, so I called yesterday and was able to book a Swedish massage for this am. Tina was my massage therapist and she was wonderful! I will definitely go back as much as I can. I also want to mention that every time I’ve tried to book at other places, there is always an issue with them keeping my appointment. For Anna’s to book (and actually keep) my appointment I would give them another star alone if I could.

I highly recommend Anna’s and will most definitely be returning!!I just had a deep tissue massage with Paul and he really helped alleviate the pain I was having. He was so kind too. He asked which areas I wanted the focus to mostly be on, checked in to make sure the pressure was good, and made sure I was okay when working on areas he thought would be causing me pain. Very professional and skilled as well. He was like a metal detector for knots lol.The place all around is so peaceful and the staff greet you with a huge smile. They are 100% worth checking out

Moving from NY, I was nervous to try a new spot. I was pretty hesitant at first. But when I read the reviews and called, just speaking with them over the phone drew me in. BTW their prices are SUPER REASONABLE!Their place is very quiet and the ambiance is perfect for a massage place. It is a family owned business which I respect because I grew up in an environment like this. The owners are super friendly and personable. The staff are very respectful during the massage and will ask about how the pressure is (very considerate). They are very clean!!I always do the 90min massage about every month with my husband and we never leave disappointed. Theyll do the hot rocks and its amazing!Highly recommended spot!!!! Have been a repeating customer for the past 3 months since Ive moved down here 3 months ago!

Absolutely amazing! We used to drive an hour every week for their massage. We have since moved to Orlando, and still make the drive! Anna and her team are the best in the business!Over 4 years later and we still drive there, but now its from Cape Coral. Best in the world!

After trying many different places in the area, weve finally found our home for massages. Annas is not fancy, but it is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and do their best to make you comfortable. Hot stones and hot towels with each massage, but the best part are the therapists - they are amazing! Best massages Ive ever gotten. We love this place!

New to Tarpon and looking for a new massage therapist. Tried this place for the first time.They speak mainly Chinese and I had a hard time understanding my therapist.She just came in and started to massage me. Never asked if I have any problem area or what area I wanted her to focus on.First time having someone walk on my back which turned out pretty good.. $60 for the hour is a good price.

I recently got a massage here unfortunately it wasn’t nearly as good as when I went the first time. The first massage I got was from a man named Jason and he is no longer there. The recent massage was from an older woman who didn’t speak much English and when I was trying to explain my pain areas I don’t think it was understood.. She was nice but just didn’t do what I needed.

The most uncomfortable, unprofessional, violating massage I’ve ever had. Never again will I let a male massage me.

I tried this place for the first time for a 60 min foot rub (I have bad neuropathy there) and a 30 min table massage. It was very clean and the sounds, smells, and decor were very relaxing. The guy was a little rougher than I wanted but I went in knowing thats what I needed to restore circulation in my feet and detox my muscles. Anna was very sweet and checked in with me several times during my visit. Wayne was also very helpful and nice. I will definitely return and I recommend them. Also, the combo I got got me $5 off.

HOLY MAGICAL HANDS 😳🤯The BEST massage I’ve ever had!! We had a girl’s day while on vacation and all 4 massages were amazing. I had Mary and she was absolutely wonderful and very sweet. I didn’t have to tell her anything but she got every single knot and cracked me in places I didn’t even know I could crack. lolI will definitely recommend this professionally ran massage parlor to anyone in the area. Thank you Anna and the wonderful staff for making our last vacation day in Florida super relaxing.

If you have not been, you need to go. This is the best massage around. They are always ready for you, you feel amazing after. It is so relaxing and the staff is amazing. I have been going for a few weeks now and I am hooked. The prices are also amazing and when I leave I feel like a new and refreshed person. Go check it out!

This is the best massage therapy place Ive found. And Ive been to New York and Thailand. Wonderful staff, and Mary has really therapeutic hands to relieve tense muscles and pain. Anna & Wayne really create a very warm and professional environment.Both my wife and I have been there and both feel it is extremely worth it. I used to get a massage every two years, But since I found Annas Massage Therapy, I go every month now.

My massage was probably the best Ive had so far! Eric was great and made it a relaxing experience. Staff is nice and the place is nice and clean!

Best message ever!! Definitely wld be there every day if I cld. The hot rocks omg so good. And they do another service for feet. That every chair was fill by the time I left. Instead of these huge Spas. Go to this place & Ill love it!! Completely satisfied. My husband went a little while after & has a bad back from a motorcycle accident, he said was awesome compared to these huge spas. Go to these small places youll be glad & they are nicer to you.

WOW. Truly the best massage Ive had. Came in with a migraine and Anna was actually able to completely heal me from it! Ive seen many massage therapists that help relieve pain, but this is the first time I have walked away with zero pain left. Wayne and Anna clearly care about those that walk through the door and they now have another loyal client. Will recommend to all my friends!

The absolute best massage I’ve had. Been here twice. The half hour drive is absolutely worth it. I can’t remember the name of the therapist on my 1st visit.. But on my 2nd visit I was assigned Tiffany who was equally as good. Can’t recommend enough.

I have many places to choose from but I keep going back to Annas. The staff is proffesional and kind. Mary has worked on me 20 + times and in my book she is amazing every time. I feel that both Wayne and Anna are warm and friendly. I hope you give Annas a try and see for yourself.

I love going to Annas. Im in sales so it always last minute and they always fit me in. They also help with post up lymphatic drainage care which is very hard to find in Pinellas co. I highly recommend. Very nice people.

Upon arrivalI had a very beautiful Asian woman welcome me in and immediately escorted me to a massage room. No intake form of any kind to ask me if I had any medical conditions, recent surgeries, or anything of the sort that the massage therapist should be aware of which was a huge red flag 🚩 I told her I had a sore neck and shoulders and wanted to stick to an upper body massage. The older man who was working on me showed up a few min later after I was on the table. He didn’t introduce himself, didn’t follow up with me on the areas I would like to have worked on, didn’t even make communication with me.For the first 15 min, it was all compression, no massage. He did a lot of work on my glutes and legs which I requested be avoided. Several times I had to tell him to return to my upper body. He then did a lot of squeezing on my shoulders to the point of causing me pain!, I asked him to please go lighter but he continued to cause me pain. Finally I stopped him to have a conversation with him, only to discover the man spoke no English. Why would you put someone in a medical field working on people who can’t speak their language or understand when their told You’re Hurting Me? He then worked a lot on my low back, massaging over my spine, you’re not supposed to do that, this caused my low back to hurt a lot, forcing me to have to turn face up. He then attempted to work on my face and scalp in a very uncomfortable fashion. I again said please work on my neck up into my ditch where all my pain is, only to immediately remember this guy can’t understand me because he doesn’t speak my language in an English Speaking Country.Due to all the pain he was causing me with his body rub and quite awful techniques, I had to sit up and say that’s it, I can’t take anymore.I asked to see the mans license as I was not convinced he had any massage training in the USA, he did have a license but still, I am a massage therapist myself and I’ve never experienced that massage style. I told the front desk lady the massage was awful, and I was in pain due to the therapist continuing to do the things that were hurting me. I had no communication from the therapist and how necessary and important communication is between a client and their therapist. The front desk lady did not seem to understand that, I was not charged.I chose this place because they do have very good reviews. And I am not judging the entire place, but their way of running a business is not safe, I am in more pain then when I came.Perhaps the female therapists there are as good as the reviews say? But the old man I would avoid.For you’re own safety, make sure you and your therapist have a working dialogue and are able to communicate and understand each other so this kindove thing doesn’t happen to you.

I just had my first massage there and it was great! It was spine cracking haha! If you like deep pressure. This is the place. Also Anna was so nice to have an appointment with me on such short notice. I was in pain all day today and couldnt bare it any longer, I messaged her if there were any openings tonight or the next morning. She messaged me right away and she had an opening tonight! I was thrilled to relieve the back pain I was having. Lol now I am all sore but I feel good! 😂

Strongly recommend. I come here often, and will continue going there. Some masseuses fit better needs than others(some are strong, some are light to walk on you), so find the one that suits your needs the most.

Best kept secret! I cant express my thankfulness on how much better I feel! I was in so much lower back pain I couldnt stand it! Calming and relaxing atmosphere. I feel like a new person now💗 They also do reflexology here too! Trying it out next week👌🏼 A must do self care!!

I have traveled and I used to be a therapist myself and Lily was top notch. You cannot get this level for this price anywhere. Place is super clean and they are wearing masks all the time. I will be back and hopefully you will try it for yourself, it will get rid of all the stress from Coronavirus.

All in all it was a disappointment. I wanted to like the place because I get massages at least once or twice a month and it is close to my home. Unfortunately it was not to be. Upon entering, the woman behind the counter confirmed my appointment and that I wanted a 1-hour deep tissue massage. After that she lead me to a room, where I undressed and laid on the massage table. After about 10-12 minutes another woman came in and began working on my back. She did not speak much english so I could not really tell her much. From time to time when she got too rough I grunted in pain and she just laughed. The worst part was when i went to pay I was informed that I owed $70 plus tip. I should have spoken up then about the web site advertising a $60 price but did not want to start anything. Rather I will post reviews so that others may learn from my experience. I will go back to my usual place and save myself $20 an hour. Caveat Emptor!

Visiting the area and tried this place due to the high rating listed. Very great experience, my boyfriend and I received a couples massage for 60 mins. Awesome perk is they offer walk ins although it may be beneficial to call (we received service promptly). Would definitely recommend.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!Masseuse didnt speak a word of English so didnt understand what I needed! She Left in the middle of massage with the curtain open leaving me standing naked exposed to the entire shop, including the man who came in the room( I was naked) !I put on clothes and left!

I made an appointment over the phone after reading other reviews. I have a hard time imaging these other reviews were genuine. My experience was awful at best. Wayne asked me if I wanted a male or female therapist. I have always seen female therapists. He said Michelle was available. She barely spoke English. I do not think her name was actually Michelle. She was overly eager to touch me in ways that were not therapeutic. I also felt that she approached me like a piece of meat. I was very uncomfortable, asked her to stop and left within five minutes. I am avoiding other comments that might seem gratuitous or insulting, but in truth, I have only shared the least offensive parts of my experience and not the worst. The best part of the experience was that Wayne did not charge me as I left.

This was the first time I ever understood what a deep tissue message was supposed to be. I left in a bit of pain but the days to come was a weight off my shoulders. They did a great job.

Worst place ever !!Never try!!!I didn’t come to my appointment one time and they blocked me forever, the manager was super rude and not professional. he does not speak English and repeats the same things over and over. Cheap Chinese eatery.
