In drag, and crossdress, no one makes a second look besides to tell you how fabulous and accepted you are!Karaoke every Tuesday! Lots of friendly staff, boy and girl go go dancers Fridays Saturdays and some weekdays for special occasions.

I have never had a bad time at Hunters - Mary’s one of the first people I met when I moved to Palm Springs. The sweetest person you will ever meet. The service is quick and good and the music is always the best

Ryan was amazing. Probably the best bartender we’ve had in Palm Springs. He made our visit exquisite. The drinks were moderately price and the dj was great. Definitely would recommend to visit.

We went on Wed/Bingo/Drag show night and had a lot of fun! Service was excellent, tasty food- we had the Taco salad and Caesar salad, Bingo was a blast and the Drag show was very entertaining!

Had a great time here on a Friday night. All the staff were great, food was good, and the big handsome black man at the front door. What a riot his jokes kept me laughing all night. These people should have a hotel, because they are definitely in the hospitality business !

The place was bumping and very fun. I absolutely love the shot girl Jenn. She had a great smile and was so welcoming. I ordered calamari and chicken wings. The calamari was very tasty and crunchy. The staff at this place is awesome and I always have a great time.

Bartenders provided quick service. The place has potential. It has a great light setup for a place its size. The sound needs work, especially on the left side of the stage. The sound was already extremely loud, and the nearby wall (on the diagonal) just further added to the noise.

Since the renovation, its one of the best bars to meet new friends and dance the night away! The staff is incredibly friendly. All ages are welcomed. You feel at home right away......

We visited this place last Friday to celebrate my friends birthday, but were quite disappointed to find it predominantly occupied by bachelorette parties. Although we had been forewarned about this, the extent of it was still surprising. Ultimately, we walked in and promptly left.While I value inclusivity and appreciate straight women enjoying themselves, its disheartening when a queer space is overwhelmingly dominated by a different demographic. To anyone planning bachelorette parties here, please consider the impact on the existing community – it can come across as disrespectful and disruptive.Additionally, the VIP booths seemed to occupy valuable space that could be better used to expand the dance floor. Weve never had a chance to enjoy the dance floor due to overcrowding. Removing these booths could create more room for the majority who just want to dance and have a good time.

This bar is a popular place in Palm Springs for both gay and straight (and non-binary) people.We discovered it when we bought tickets to see the Airotica show there. The show was absolutely amazing!! It has a limited run, so check online for tickets.We sat in their outdoor space to watch the show and had perfect seats in the VIP area.Our server was prompt and friendly, and the drinks were huge (probably doubles!) and very reasonably priced.They have a short food menu, but plenty of options if you are hungry. We had eaten dinner already, but ordered their fried pickle, which were yummy!We will definitely return here for Happy Hour and drinks with friends sometime. It’s probably the most reasonably priced bar in Palm Springs, and that is probably why it’s popular with locals.

Not my first experience here, and it never disappoints! Even when extremely busy staff is always very friendly, welcoming, and easy to get along with.Overall bar layout is spacious and upscale. For those bathroom selfies, the decor in the restrooms is where it’s at! Two thumbs up.

Hunters is an interesting place. It’s huge! They have a large front patio area and seating the floors into the parking lot. The front bar and room have high top tables as well as bottle service booths. The back room has a second bar and dance floor. The crowd is younger (20’s-30’s). I can see people hoping between Hunters and Chill Bar.It feels like Hunters is trying to be the Abbey of Palm Springs. Huge food focus but limited menu. My food was good, but it felt weird as I was the only one eating. The dance floor was nice, but small. The main room was big, maybe too big.I’d give it another shot.

Mary was amazing! She made sure we had the best service. If I could recommend any bar in Palm Springs this is the one! Especially if Mary is working!

My favorite bar on Arenas. The bartenders and staff are really friendly and fun. Mary made me my first drink in Palm Springs- (5 years ago) a Bloody Mary hahaha with bleu cheese olives!!!! They have a lot of fun events too.

Drag show competition was entertaining, but not enough seating, staff is rude and unhelpful to those new to the place (especially when you ask questions) and their glasses are dirty. I ordered a drink and it had random yellow and red chunks on the glass as well as floating in my soda (these are not the average additives to a Shirley temple). I wanted to ask for a refund but I was afraid to lose my seat considering the patrons swarm like sharks to any available spot. I would not return.

This place gets packed on a Friday night. And early for happy hour dies down by 9pm. Wide Mix of all ages lots of older guys. People still dance there too

Everything is great except the tacos. They have a new cook, and the tacos are awful. When you cant tell the beef tacos from the chicken tacos, theres a problem. Who uses ground chicken in tacos? The tacos were all dripping with so much grease, it got the chips soggy that were on the plate. It tasted and looked like they used Taco seasoning from the package. They used to have the very best tacos. Not any more. I want to find out where the old cook works and go eat there.

Bar tender Eddie is always friendly and speedy. Great place for drinks and fun. Food is always wonderful, great fries, also I love the tacos.

After many friends raved about the food, finally went for lunch two weeks ago. Was ok. Service was prompt. Food cooked (chili dog--hard to screw up). Nothing special though...just your basic fill me up fare with prices that are average for Palm Springs. Given that it is a bar, should have been better in my opinion (price wise as well as quality as the plating and atmosphere is...well...a bar).

I had such a fun time here. We went on a Wednesday night and saw a fabulous drag show. It’s a nice bar with cheap drinks. The drag show was great and all the queens were lovely. It’s right by all the other gay bars so fun to hop between different bars.

Good vibe and great music, but I thought I was going to a gay club. This place has more straight women bachelorette parties than any place I’ve been to. The whole dance floor and most of the tables were full of them. Sure we should be welcoming to all but this was too much and made us leave after 30 minutes.

I left messages, and emailed and never heard back from anyone.Really hurtful because it’s a sentimental place for my family and I, and I mentioned that in my email.Really disappointing, apparently they’re not interested in our business. You should really fix your website. Most people know you for the club aspect of it but theres barely any information on your site about what music or events are happening. No one goes there for the food so why is your site being run as if it were a restaurant?

I am visiting Palm Springs by myself for a couple of days and happened into this fun bar. The drinks were amazing, and the live music was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend stopping in for a few drinks and some good vibes.

Great drinks, great bartender staff and definitely good music. I could see how this is a draw to the local community. I am here visiting and found this place to be very fun and and appealing to q crowd and this is definitely a prime spot for the weekend crowd. I came in on a Monday and could see how this is an optimal local hangout. The weather in Match is perfect for patio hangout and catching up with friends! The drink prices are very reasonable. 8f this is not on your list of places to stop in and enjoy, it should be.

Went there on Memorial weekend as a part of the Social Cycle excursion I did and even though I wasnt drinking, the rest of my party was and service was horrible. My group did not get served until everyone else in the entire bar was serviced. Definitely would not ever go there again and glad I didnt give them my money.

The door staff is SUPER INVASIVE carrying my little gay man bag every time 4x(pslocal) try to frisk me and see EVERYTHING in my bag and then frustrating tension leads them to “threatening to not let me in”. seriously calm down it is offensive. NOT GOING BACK! The bouncer broke my $150 LELABO perfume bottle trifling through my bag. DONE. ALSO. SUPER INCLUSIVE MEANS FISHY BRIDESMAIDS EVERYWHERE! They market this so don’t be fooled! they invite it !

I love Hunter it’s a fun place and the staff is great! Typically, I do not write a reviews for any place but after reading some of the reviews here I thought I needed to for places I like that are getting bad reviews because people seem to forget we have been in a pandemic. For a place to be open they have to serve food it is a state rule. You should know this before going into a bar and most places tell you as soon as you walk in and every bar I have been into in Palm Spring has said it. Some bars maybe short staffed and it could take a lot longer to get served drinks and most are not use to doing food . Keep in mind its hard to keep staff when you are open one day and required to close the next.

I see all of these nice postings about great dancing and all. But I would like to address the elephant in the room. In basically every bar in the coachella valley people want to go out with their friends or their significant other basically destroying the concept that bars were built on which is to mingle and meet new people. At least the bars could have 1 night a week called singles night . or a night where singles are encouraged to come out.

My partner and I stopped by Friday around 645pm, packed and felt right at home with the age group. We noticed it cleared out @7pm found out that was bcoz happy hour was over. We stayed and danced for half hour... loved it, we both felt right at home, also nice to see others our age or older also dancing, each to their own. Great experience.

One of my favorite bars ever in Palm Springs!! Who wouldnt love a bar that opens at 10:00am. Friendly bartenders, great drink prices and a great crowd of people. The patio is fabulous too!! I will never stop coming here!!!

Walked in on Thursday during what looked like a fairly non busy time. People were sat at the bar and there was maybe two other tables sat with drinks etc. My friend and I walked in and sat down at a tall table near the bar area. We scanned to view the menu, and sat there for around maybe 10-15 minutes before we realized no one came up or asked about drinks, food or at all even. We didnt want to make any assumptions. Like, maybe we had to go up to the bar or flag someone down. But then a man walked in and after walking a few feet, he was acknowledged and helped right away. Felt kind of weird and a little embarrassing on our part. So we just left. Funny enough, we didnt even get acknowledged on the way out. First stop on my bday weekend in palm. Set a good tone for the time there thats for sure.

This is an establishment that manipulates tip amounts. If you’re visiting for the first time, be careful. Especially if you’re a gay poc. Best club in Palm Springs. Free entry. No cover!The music was killer and the dance floor is an entire room separate from bar. Plenty of ppl and plenty room. Drinks are expensive though. Security was friendly. DJ was Boss. Everyone is having fun here. Great scene. This is what palm springs is.

As a bar geared towards hunters, outdoorsmen and the like I was surprised to find so many dudes half naked. Never really see that back home in Alaska.... seems to be the thing to do here though. It was kinda hot outside though so I guess I can’t blame them.Gotta say, the drinks were good and everyone was super friendly. I’ve never been bought so many drinks! Definitely a go to if I’m back in town.

I started out late and being alone exploring Gay Palm Springs. Hunters attracts your eye and draws you in away from the other bars and clubs that line the streets. I had the impression that the majority of the patrons at Hunters were local college students and that the Cool-Kids rule this place! It is trendy and has a colorful upbeat modern but relaxed vibe with loud club music and beautiful people both equal men and women. There is an expansive outdoor lounging area where you can smoke and take phone calls a little easier. Of course it has large flat screen TVs playing club videos and maybe a sports game but not sure on that. Not sure about happy hour but expect drink prices to run $5-$12 each with anything you can imagine. Nice bartenders.

So me and my friends got a bottle service here last saturday july 24 2021! The bottle service manager was very good on communicating with me. They went above and beyond with my request of putting us outside due to covid . I know palm springs can be hot so i asked if they have some type of a fan. They actually set up a fan on our spot and our spot was pretty big! our bottle service attendant alexa was super nice and welcoming! All the staff was pretty good on making sure we are okay! really worth it! thankyou so much for the wonderful time and I will definately come back and get bottle service again! It was worth it! we all felt VIP

Ive been a few times to Hunters and it is a fun bar. Great place to go on Friday night. The misters really helped keep the patio comfortable and lots of room to hang out and enjoy the music and the Cool vibe!

Hunters was always a okay bar. Jen and bar staff are great! Security and manager are the dumbest bunch of uneducated simple people I have ever met! Eddy only got the managers position because the other guy got fired. Eddy also listens and steals customers ideas for events. I no this for a fact as he used one of my ideas for the carwash event. He also will turn on any customer and local! He lies and gossips about locals also. But again he is a simple man with no education in how a bar should be run! So if you want to see Old man pee.... Go to hunters... Oh they are not friendly to woman unless Jen is there. Go to Chill, Score or the straight bars if you want a great night out.. And no drama... Sorry Jen please fire Eddy.......

Ugh, this is the Dirtiest place ever. The bartenders are way too busy trying to kick out all, but white people. If your not willing to put up with 5 day old beer smell in the bar and week drinks if your not white, then dont even try this place.Oh they had a sign in the bathroom, for a more pleasurable experience ask your bartender.

Its a gay bar with way too noisy music to have a decent conversation. Now they serve food, mainly to evade Covid restrictions on plain bars. Food ordered by friends was cold when it arrived. At least they got their money back...

Not dog friendly! Very poor customer service. My partner bought the drinks and then told us we can not sit outside with our dog afterwards. Never coming back !!!. Love Chills bar, no drama and dog friendly. Everyone gives 5 stars after they get drunk but is not true, still poor costumer service.

The word nightclub is a little misleading. Its more like a bar with a dancefloor. They serve any drink you can imagine and the music is good, but a little predictable. A lot of Top 40 remixes and little else. The bartenders were friendly and quick. The drinks were strong. Overall a warm and fun experience but I would not call this place a nightclub.

They ask for a vaccine card at the door at the time I was patronizing the place. Man ahead of me was overheard telling doorman he had a medical reason for not getting vaccine. Yet he was denied. To me this is not America and having a right to choose. The man offered to wear mask but said hed rather go elsewhere where his medical condition isnt disclosed to a doorman and the other folks standing behind him business. Do better Hunters! After I saw that interaction I chose not to spend my money here as well but entered because a friend was meeting someone here or I would have left too.

I had a great time this past Saturday night. I just have a question about the covid policy. I gave the young lady at the door my proof of vaccination and she still wanted me to wear a mask. I saw that everyone I saw wasnt wearing one. I saw in your policy that you had to show proof of vaccination or have had a negative covid test with 72 hours. I got vaccinated in March and previously got 3 covid test which were all negative. I showed her proof and my ID. I was confused why she gave me a mask. Can you clarify this for me?

Used to be amazing. Now it’s 80% bachelorette parties that take over the 1/2 the space and act poorly. Much better locations in PSP.

More younger guys show up here. They have great music and the TV’s are always projecting music videos. Love the lighting, drinks are good and more in the middle range in terms of price. More of a pick up bar than I’ve seen in other bars.

Update :: Friday, January 19th, 2018.Sat at the front main bar during happy hour. Hunters was busy. The bartenders really focussed on getting the drinks out. BUT.....not CLEANING at all! When we sat down we literally had to gather up dirty glasses, beer bottles and dirty napkins. The bar top was gross. With the current flu and hepatitis A sweeping through the gay community you would think CLEANING would be a priority. PLEASE...... hire a cleaning staff to keep your bar safe.. it is gross to see people sneezing at the bar and no one is wiping down the place with a CLEAN rag and disinfectant. At one point a bar patron had to ask the bartenders for a rag.... they gave it to him... THEY DID NOT CLEAN IT THEMSELVES... VERY BUGGY!!--------------------------------------------------Pro: Fun place.. Great music and sound system... nice crowd. Gets very busy late in evening. ;)Cons: Bar top is gross.. We sat down to dirty glasses and trash. Bartender came and picked up glasses.. did not wipe ANYTHING DOWN. With the Hep A problems in San Diego and LA.. this SHOULD BE A PRIORITY!!Bathrooms are a mess.Odd smell in here 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

While we still can’t go in the bar yet due to COVID, Hunters is serving refreshing cocktails with any food order to go curbside. The Kettleone Rose Kennedy’s were refreshing on this sunny Saturday afternoon and the Pepperoni Pizza was delicious! Support our local businesses!

A mainstay of gay bars in Palm Springs, this place always has something going on. Tuesday night was karoake and it was a very local crowd. The patio is very comfortable and drinks are cheap ($3 for a well drink on Wednesday). Also has a dance club which gets very packed later on at night. Cash only can be frustrating but they do provide 2 ATMs. Bathrooms can be a little uncomfortable.

Last night (Friday 4/27/2018) I went with two other girlfirends to Hunters Bar in Palm Springs at fist we were sitting at the bar and ignored and not served drinks while the bartenders cattered to other Men that were not waiting as long. Once we finnally were served the bartender made the wrong drink i told him and he would fix it and i didnt even complain then and still tipped.10 mins after I bought me and my friends a round a large intimadating security guard approched me and told me to get up and get out and wouldnt give me a reason why.I quickly got up and went outside the bar as i figured this was some mix up and I asked if i was kicked out for a reason and he and at that point another large security guard named Herby was with him and they rolled there eyes and refused to even talk to me and tell me why i couldnt be there. I feel it was an illgal act of discrimination because I am a women. l am in shock I was treated so bad without any explanation as to what the problem was. I wasnt drunk I had never had problems before and it was extremely embarrassing that me and my two girlfriends had to leave that way as if I had commited a crime or something there. I had been to hunters several times in the past and treated welll because I was hanging out with the manager Jen who I briefly was kinda of seeeing but ultimently ended up dating somwone else as did she which was fine and I didnt think that we were on bad term or anything and i dont even think she was there when i was kicked out.Anyway I had always been nice to staff and tipped well never had any problems whatsover when at Hunters untill last night .It was very clear that the staff did not want women at there bar and i think this needs to be brought to the attention to the local community and better business bureau for invesagation.

It’s hunters. If you have been here before it’s basically the most west Hollywood or typical gay bar on the strip in Palm Springs. Fast bartenders, great dance floor, and the long-standing area which is really nice.

Hunters is the best spot to great drink downtown!!!

Tim kicked everyone out well before closing even though it says they’re open until 2AM. They will sell you a drink 20 minutes before closing and then kick you and everyone else out 19 minutes before.

I just had the bourbon cheeseburger and it was AMAZING! The fries that were with it were also really good! I am so happy they are serving food!

Really friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Strong drinks. What more can you ask for. Did I mention the staff is really hot.

Liquor bar only with indoor and outdoor seating. Also a great dance room that is quite active at night. In a popular area so parking is a challenge.

After 2 years we finally visited the beloved Hunters. We appreciated they checked proof of vaccination and felt great to be among our peers!

Drinks were okay. The ambience was pretty fun. DJ played some bangers and there wasnt any slow or dud songs.

Fridays old timer happy hour thing from 5 to 7pm makes me wanna live!!! Watching old guys my age tearing it up to 80ish music makes me so happy!!!

It was nice …. The dj played top 40 songs but was still fun. Wanted to try the food 🤗🤗🤗

Really fun bar with a good staff. Out door patio and a dance floor that opens at 9 on weekends. Also conviently located near other bars so its good for bar crawling too.

Hunters bar staff need to pick up the pace on major event days. Theyre losing an extreme amount of money because of their slow service model. There were countless people just standing around waiting on a drink. Over 30 minutes during pride!

This place is very fast-paced, little too many women for my taste, its a fun bar where they can have a lot of bridal showers, they have male dancers usually straight but thats okay, drinks are a little pricey , they dont have a clear walk-ups to the bar they leave you standing there for a long time, dance floor in the other room is very nice they should take out the wall hard to breathe when it gets going, open till about 4 in the morning last place you can go, very clicky.

May 5 th around 9 pm, this was the slowest bar on Arenas Rd. I walked in and had a drink only to find out why. The bartender, Anthony was making racial remarks about the blatino week before. I will never return to this bar. Not appropriate and it shows in their business.

Its a bar most like any other gets crowded and loud. Too many drunks running about. But you could be describing 90% of Palm Springs if that were the case.

Gin and tonic tasted like sparkling water. Server changed the drinks, but they definitely didn’t taste like gin and tonic. Very disappointing.

I got there late... it started clearing out when I got my first drink... its been so long that I forgot and everybodys name LOL... but Im trying to get back into the swing of things and getting to get reacquainted to the new staff

These people are too poor to hire an actual dj, drink prices are good but they dont accept credit cards as far as we know. Otherwise good :-)

Spacious nightclub with festive bar, go-go men, dancing and patio. Not for the shy or those looking for a quiet chill. Hot spot for a good pour.

If you want to go to a gay club, it was fair. Going for some drinks and a snack, not worth it. Food and drink are definitely lacking.

Good place to be...but I avoid Friday and Saturday nites...waaay to many straightwomen and bachelorette parties...they take over. Go to other mens bars on weekends.

The best bar I been to since RICHS in San Diego!!!! Love this place.

First night of Bingo was fun. They played 4 games instead of 6. The callers were entertaining.
