Beautiful old hotel in amazing downtown location. Have stayed multiple times and great place to relax and get away. Park the car, and not use it again until the end of trip. Walking distance to numerous selection of different restaurants and shops, etc. Some great bars and a small fun karaoke place too.Hotel could start to use a bit of fix up, but overall a really great stay. Interior courtyard pool and jacuzzi.
My wife and I decided to take a midweek Palm Springs getaway while our son was also out of town. The Andreas was listed in TravelZoos Top 20 and recommended for Palm Springs and we were not disappointed. Its a small 25-room hotel thats been in operation since the 30s. Quaint, clean, cozy rooms with comfortable beds and a small pool that was so quiet and relaxing! Its a 21 and over hotel so no kids and no animals--fabulous! The staff were all very personable and thoughtful. We also indulged in the spa for a massage and facial and were very pleased with that experience as well. I worked for a large hotel chain for over a decade but this was more like a B&B experience to us. We very much enjoyed the property and will return soon!
The spa was pretty bad. we did not stay at the hotel but visited the spa for the couples getaway package (mineral soak/couples massage). nobody was at the front desk when we showed up 15 min prior to our appointment as instructed and we waited for about 10 minutes before anyone came down.when someone finally appeared she didnt greet us, introduce herself, ask our names, or confirm what we had booked, we were just handed clipboards for our paperwork and told to sit in the quiet room. when i walked across to the quiet room i could see a different employee sitting on her phone in another back room, and she must have been sitting right there 3 feet away the whole time wed been waiting at the front desk. when i was done with the paperwork i spoke up to say we were ready and she told me to go sit back in the quiet room. they seemed like they didnt even want us there, and were scrambling to accommodate us but we were the only customers there.the bathtub for the mineral soak was scalding hot and we had to drain half of it and refill it with cold water to be able to even get in. i asked before the woman left what they had put in the water just out of curiosity, assuming there was some kind of bath salts and she said, its just umm...you know...bubble bath.our massages were good, which was the one saving grace. but the lack of hospitality was the most memorable thing about our visit.
My husband and I love to stay here, the front desk agents are always welcoming and friendly. Their rooms and amenities are beautiful, comfortable and the best part is they are located on downtown Palm springs where there are lots of dining options, different attractions in the area.
For the past 3 years this hotel has been my request for my Birthday celebration! We absolutely love EVERYTHING about this place. Location, customer service, food, drinks etc. We recently tried the spa and had a couples massage WOW!! What an amazing experience. Much needed! Wonderful and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended!
We have stayed here about 10 years now and always a pleasant experience. This last weekend was no different. The room was clean and well prepared, linens and bedding nice. We have worked with Merry the last three bookings and she is always a pleasure to work with. The staff, bartender and spa employees always worth the trip.
It was too hot to enjoy any of the outdoor activities. I.e. The pool or the hot tub. Or even the sauna which I would have loved to enjoy. But 34.95 for a resort fee is just way too much house coats I didnt use blankets I didnt use. The night person just no greeting in the morning. Just looked up a bag for the breakfast. Even though in the bucket does say there is a hot breakfast provided so that needs to be updated. Very nice hotel with the old style. But renovated to look new, there is a Mini bar of sorts with just non-alcoholic drinks for sale. Love the candy bar And the lemon water.
The only reason I didnt give it five stars is that the price is misleading. Yes, the ROOM may be two hundred dollars, however, they add a resort fee (which, this is hardly a resort) and of course, taxes. The room total was closer to three hundred by the time it was added up. In addition, there is a 100-dollar charge for incidentals but that is returned once you leave providing all is in order.I just thought Id add that so people that may be on a limited budget dont think they will be getting a room for two hundred twenty dollars as advertised. It truly is a wonderful experience staying there. Just lovely linens, soft towels, comfortable beds and cozy fireplaces. Some rooms have bidets and spa tubs. All the employees were great except for one individual that worked late at night but that could have just been a personality difference.Id say the best part was the location and the fact that the pool and spa could be used 24/7. Thats a rarity and a welcome experience. Oh, in addition, because they are located in a busy area, they have sound machines available to help you sleep. That was a nice touch. So were the candy bar and large glass jars filled with sliced lemon and water.
I love this hotel. Everyone is kind and the rooms are so clean and comfortable.
I LOVE this hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed March 25th. We have been going to Palm Springs for years looking for that one Hotel that becomes the one we always stay at. We have bounced around to lots of properties. The Andreas is NOW the only place we want to stay in PS.First the hotel is a perfect location for Down town. Second the hotel is super quiet and relaxing and extremely clean. Third the rooms are awesome....BUT the very best part is the Staff... Everyone we came into contact with was awesome. Karl at the front desk is great. The bartender by the pool and everyone else... They all just just seem really sincere in making sure you have a great stay.I cant say enough good about this property and it will be the only place we stay in PS from here on out....
I wish there were more stars! This place is FABULOUS! I am the pickiest person ever and they exceeding my expectations!! The staff was amazing, the room was outstanding, comfortable and so welcoming and designed to engulf you in peace, tranquility and comfort! I just loved my stay! The bartender was amazing, he made you feel so welcomed! The staff helped me get around and gave wonderful recommendations for dining and outings! I hated to leave!!!! I plan to return very soon to spend another two luxurious days at the spa….there is not enough space to talk about how wonderful the spa is (I have traveled & experienced many spas). This spa is AMAZING! LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS PLACE AND CANT WAIT TO RETURN! I was traveling alone and this place made me feel very safe and secured. Thank you to all the staff, you made my trip memorable and I have recommended you to all of my friends to go and experience your home away from home! I’ll be seeing you soon ♥️
From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed. Karl walked us to our room to show us how to work the fireplace and everything else. The breakfast room was warm, clean, and cozy with coffee, snacks, and candy always available. Comfortable beds, clean environment, and everything you could ask for in a lovely boutique hotel. Only a gym was missing. And it is located exactly in the center of town, yet away from the noise. We will be back 😊
Karl at the front desk was the kindest and offered such great customer service! The hotel was very intimate and in the middle of downtown Palm springs. We could anywhere. The location is very convenient; casino, restaurants, dispensary, bars, nightclubs. Everything we can think of, was walking distance.
We always worry about staying at places we’ve never heard of, but WOW! We were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel! It was super clean! I mean cleaner than most of the hotels we’ve stayed in such as the Marriot or Hilton brands. The staff…SUPER FRIENDLY! And will try to take care of your needs! The location…AMAZING! We’re here for Pride and it’s within 10 min walking distance to most of the events (except the pool party). It’s also quite when it needs to be. So you can recharge for the next day! I highly recommend this place! And will definitely consider staying here again!
Great pool, lovely staff, disappointing and dirty room. The $340 a night price tag is easily double what this place should cost. The breakfast comes in a plastic bag and is filled with things you could find at local gas stations (which would be perfectly fine if we weren’t paying $700 for two nights).
Stayed here while at a conference. This was a better choice than the big name places. Friendly staff (Merry is awesome) and nice homey and old Hollywood vibe. Pool and jacuzzi are well kept and inviting. Great location to get to everything downtown and the convention center. Rooms are comfy and like little apartments. Check out my picts and give me a thumbs up if you agree.
I hope I will come back to this great hotel, staff was amazing and we had a wonderful time here.Thank you so much
We were there this past weekend. Our room was clean and super cute. We got walked to our room and did a walk through. Had a handwritten note on our bed. If we are ever in Palm Springs again we will be staying here again. The only down fall was that the pool was closed because of a leak, we did get a small refund because of that.
Absolutely wonderful experience! We were here for a conference, and extended through the weekend for a chance to relax. The staff was gracious and friendly, and went above and beyond make sure our stay and spa experience were top-notch. Would definitely stay again!
The service was lovely and the staff all seemed to have good intentions. I had some issues changing my original reservation, they made no record of the change and charged me for the original service. This wasn’t ever fully resolved and the front desk never took accountability for their mistake. Checking in before the service, employees’ masks were pulled down and they were openly socializing in front of guests. After being brought into the locker room to change no one came to bring me to the service- I had to go to the front desk in a robe to be brought to the room. Based on the price of the service, we came in with high expectations and there was certainly room for improvement in the overall professionalism of the spa. The champagne before the service was lovely, and everyone was very nice.
Do not Make a reservation here. They have a 2-week cancellation policy and if you dont make it they are still going to charge you for half of your stay. I was one day late and canceling my reservation on a freaking 2 week cancellation policy. They charged me half of the whole week stay over $1,200. My business canceled my trip so it was not even my fault. I was told that there were No exceptions.
I was by myself on a overnight for work but my experience was fantastic. It seemed like the place had just been remodeled. Clean spotless and lots of little amenities in and out of the room the “resort fee” actually seem worth it, even for me. The hotel is one block away from the downtown area and the staff were very friendly and helpful both at night and in the morning. Oh and the lobby coffee was good, which is a pretty rare thing!
Old building so you can hear everything - I woke up a lot through the night. Great pool area but lounge chairs fill up quickly. No wifi entire stay - complained to the desk numerous times and it was never resolved. They never told us we needed to request linen servicing the night before so our beds were never made/sheets were never changed. Breakfast was laughable - moldy clementines, cheap packaged baked goods, and granola bars. For the price, there have to be better hotels in Palm Springs - look elsewhere.
Absolutely love The Andreas. Our stay was incredibly memorable and enjoyable. The staff is amazing and provides everything you need. Close to all the nighttime entertainment as well as shopping and dining. Special thanks to Karl and Mary who truly went above and beyond.
Wow when I say this place is so amazing!! The staff were so nice each and everyone of them!! The junior suite was so beautiful and elegant when I say I fell in love with this hotel and spa wow I’ll be coming back again and again the pool was so cute and I love that it’s open 24 hours. I really enjoyed my birthday here and I’m so glad I chose Andreas hotel and spa. Everything was so clean
All the rooms are amazing! Our favorite place in PS. 8 years in a row. We LOVE it. Greatest location 👍🏻 on HWY 111.No kids allowed 21+Best Piña Coladas by the pool.Pool could be colder, but it IS palm springs after all. We have stayed in a different room every time, but by far the fave is 225. If you can sleep through street noise youll do just fine!
Our stay here has been nothing less than amazing! Our executive room is gorgeous with a jet tub and the grounds and pool are wonderfully maintained.Staff is friendly and caters to any need. The resort is located near amazing eateries as well as next to downtown! This adult only resort is just what we needed for our anniversary. Lots of fun, relaxation, and memories.
Outstanding find and very affordable compared to many other places in town that are half as nice. This hotel is downtown just off the strip. Spend a little extra money for the King Suite. Not huge by any means, but beautifully furnished and decorated with double-sided fireplace and big jacuzzi tub. The deck upstairs has 3 fireplaces and cozy seating. There are rooms with private patios, and the pool area is great with a bar and light eats. The personal service is the clincher. We will be back soon.
This little hotel was very accommodating. Upon arrival, I was asked if I wanted champagne (I didnt...I have no idea how I passed up free champagne) and was physically taken to my room. Ive been at fancy hotels and this is the first time anyone has ever walked me to my room. Very nice front desk staff. Also , totally random but theres a mini candy bar in the lobby. The breakfast was light but enough to get me going. Clean. Very cute rooms. The only slight issue I had was the noise from the next door business. It want enough to lose sleep over but a little more than i wouldve liked in the morning
Pros:- Nice hotel and pool- The rooms are clean and adequate- Good locationCons:- Staff is not friendly, and at times rude for no reason absolutely. We were very polite and not at all fussy, but that didnt make them change their attitude. We had several run-ins with them in the lobby and pool area where they didnt leave us in peace.- We have to call front desk to turn on/off the AC in the room each time! The AC controls are locked (see pic). And the attendant was very rude when she came up when called, even though we were only the nicest to her. A room with bad AC in Palm Springs is a no-go- Free breakfast is laughable. Doesnt even meet the lowest expectations. They gave 1 granola bar, a small orange and a small can of apple juice. Thats it!- Wifi is really slow and keeps cutting out. No reason for them to not improve thisOverall 2/5. Will not be coming back, and well spread the bad word to our friends and family too. There are better options in the Palm Springs area.
Update* Nothing has changed, still our favorite place to stay! Excellent walkability for all things downtown. Looove staying here! Our absolute favorite hotel in all of the dessert! Weve stayed there several times and it has been superb each time. I could go on for days about how amazing the place is - just book your room already 😉
Wonderful boutique hotel. Very friendly staff greeted us with complimentary champagne. Room is adorable, really sweet and romantic, robes and thank you note from the staff. The pool is nice and well kept. The poolside bar is convenient and good variety. The continental breakfast selection and fruit was a pleasant surprise. Everything was perfect.
The front desk guy was very friendly. After the check in process he walked us to our room and showed us around. Now the room was amazing. Huge bathroom with hot tub. The shower was big enough to fit 4 people. All was granite rock. The room was clean everything worked and the bed was comfy. The pool was super clean very well light the blue led. The pool water itself smelled like flowers. Lots of places to sit and hang out. This was just a very nice place. So glad we chose to stay there.
We have been coming here 2-3 times per year for 20 years. It is always excellent. Nikki & Krystal went out of their way to provide excellent service and assistance. Chris helped us with our luggage. Krystal made fabulous guacamole & chips. Nikki was phenomenal in being right there when we needed help. The Andreas Resort is very fortunate to have the staff they have.Cheers, Walt Bratten
I was really disappointed in Andreas customer service. I made a reservation for a 3 day stay. I became Ill 7 days before our checkin date. I tried to cancel my reservation but was informed that they have a 2 week cancelation policy with a forfit of 50 percent of the price of the stay. To receive a refund I would have to show a Drs note to validate my illness. We have been frequent guests at this hotel. No consideration for loyal patrons. I am very disappointed.
Absolutely stunning place. Family has stayed before and very much enjoyed their stay. Was recommended by them. Extremely helpful upon checking in. Quick and efficient. Only stayed for one night, but can not wait to come back! Walking distance to downtown Palm Springs!
This hotel is in a great location for Palm Springs. Room was very comfortable and clean. Nice pool area, although it wasn’t hot enough for us to feel like swimming. Convenient and free parking onsite. I gave 4/5 because I thought the breakfast was a little lacking with options for the price paid for the room (no hot options). In addition, I thought the staff engagement and friendliness could be improved (for context, we’d just finished a one month road trip staying in highway hotels and this place had the least friendly service of the whole trip).
Perfect weekend getaway. Centrally located in downtown Palm Springs. No kids, no smoking, no pets allowed which was nice. Very comfortable rooms. Friendly service that went out of their ways. We enjoyed the in room jacuzzi tub and duel balcony on the south side just above the street perfect for people watching. The main problem was the street noise at night on that side of the hotel. On a weekend you can expect street noise until late. Otherwise a perfect experience and will definitely return.
Spa experience was great! Massage therapist were extremely and knowledgeable about their craft (Marci has over 30 years of experience!) Rooms were clean and spacious, and the walk in shower was amazing. Our non smoking room had the faintest hint of cigar smoke, but was only noticed when first walking into the room. The only negatives were the rules for the pool area. No pool floats or outside beverages are allowed, and while I can understand the hotel wants a clean, chill, and adult environment, I really just wanted to be able to float around the pool on a pool lounger with a cold beer in the 120° summer heat.
We chose this place since it looked like a small quaint hotel at a nice location, however, it is an overpriced and over-marketed Inn on cramped grounds. Communication at the front desk is terrible, no consideration for customer service. Much rather stay at Hilton one block away for much better service and facilities, and location.
Really nice stay at this hotel and great staff. The only downfall was that the rooms are not soundproof, so the guests upstairs woke us several times per night. We also had a couples massage and scrub that was wonderful! This was a great vacation spot for December!
This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at the Andreas and we love it even more today than we did 2 years ago. In fact, we brought friends with us this time because we like it so much! The property is adults only - 21 and up, so its the right spot for a quiet weekend away. The rooms have been refreshed and completely upgraded, the pool and hot tub were redone, the door leading from the lobby to the pool is new, and the room service offering is new. Oh, and lets not forget the entire candy jar spread and the free glass of champagne when you arrive! We cant say enough great things about the staff. The gentleman at the front desk is all about personalized attention and gives each guest ample time and takes you to your room himself. He explains everything about the room and points out all of the unique details about the property. Hes warm and kind and just makes you feel like family. Now for the amenities and the rooms... The Andreas offers a free continental breakfast, free parking and free wifi to all guests. Oh, and unlike other places, the pool is open 24 hours. All the rooms have Keurig machines and electric fireplaces (one setting with heat and one setting without). All in all we just LOVE this property. It feels so welcoming, comfortable, intimate (only 25 rooms!), and is the PERFECT place to stay for a weekend getaway from city life. We will definitely come back.
Havent had time to write a review, but my experience in this hotel was beyond amazing. I travel for my birthday every year, and this year I decided to stay local so I went to Palm Springs. This hotel not only welcomed me with champagne while checking in, but gave me an excellent customer service. The rooms are to die for. So cute, cozy and the decor goes beyond of what Ive seen before. Also they have a complimentary candy bar, fresh delicious (Lemon/Orange Slices) water 24 hours available for you, and pool open 24 hours as well.Overall, such an amazing experience. Ill be back very soon.
I was very hesitated to check in at the Andreas Hotel & Spa I went by Yelp I read the reviews I looked at the pictures I thought that was exactly what I was looking for.And I was a hundred percent correct this is a gem , I have had nothing but amazingly beautiful time at my stay here . Small cozy beautiful romantic if you need it to be. For me it was more than I needed .Service was very good , pool clean , rooms were just Beautiful ! Walking distance from everything in the heart of downtown .Spa is amazing , you should definitely try their massage .They spoil you and treat like you deserve , vacation feel , relaxing drinks pool side little bar .No kids , adult time .I had the best time and will return.
Andreas Hotel & Spa in Palm Springs is a great overnight option. Unfortunately the night we stayed it was pouring down rain and as the manager noted, they arent really setup for that. There was literally a waterfall right outside our door which made it a little challenging to come in and out of the room. Staff was very friendly and we would certainly stay here again. We liked the small details like the candy bar downstairs, location to downtown, and the way the rooms open up to the courtyard. The only negatives were the old bathtub in our room (my wife loves taking baths and wanted to do so in a spa tub - but we didnt get one of those) we were told the tub is being refurbished soon, and the marching band that started playing at 6:00am on Saturday morning which they had no control over. Still, this hotel is nicely renovated, charming, friendly and we look forward to giving it another try in warmer weather.
Couldnt have been happier. We planned a quick, last minute, overnight trip to Palm Springs. There are so many options it was difficult to choose by looking on the internet. We almost chose a big brand chain hotel but wanted something unique to PS.We took a chance and went with the Andreas. We are so happy we did! The service from the moment we arrived was excellent. I believe it was Lisa who checked us in. She was friendly and helpful. She offered a room upgrade which we decided to take. Wow!The location was perfect. Located in the heart of the city and walking distance to most of the attractions. We stayed in one of the suites overlooking Palm Canyon. The room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. It was a Thursday night so of course we could hear the noise from the street fair below but it wasnt a big deal. The girl working the kitchen (Im sorry I forgot her name) was so friendly and helpful. Her service was fantastic. The pool was relaxing. I could have stayed there all day.My only complaint was the rates listed online. A room rate is listed but there is also taxes and fees. We are from Vegas so we know all about the resort fees. They are ridiculous and the Vegas hotels are getting a lot of flak for having them. Just be up front and honest about the rates. Hidden fees again are ridiculous. We know this gives the illusion of lower room rates but come on.Anyways... we will definitely be back. We cant wait to visit again!
Location is perfect, youre in the heart of downtown so you can always to almost anything. Their pool is open 24/7 and their staff is lovely. The rooms come with A/C and look beautiful. The grounds have a relaxing tranquil ambiance that will help anyone enjoy their vacation to the fullest. The only downside is parking, at night it maybe he hard to to find parking in their tiny parking lot.
We had an overnight and found this hotel on Hotwire. Super cute place and walking distance to the downtown area. We enjoyed the spa-like setting. Our room had a fireplace which added to the overall comfiness. There’s a pool, sauna and jacuzzi but we didn’t partake. Staff are friendly. Coffee, tea and cocoa are available in the lobby. Iron, safe and toiletries are available in the room. Only demerits were spotty wifi and we weren’t able to have a late checkout.
Great adults only boutique hotel. This is our go to spot when we go to the Palm Springs area. The Pool & Jacuzzi are open 24-7. Free Continental Breakfast comes with the room. All the rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make the guests feel at home. Oh yeah, we love the comfy robes that are in each room too!
Fabulous, friendly and cozy Hotel. Walking distance to everything in Palm Springs. Pool is open 24 hours so you can sleep in lounge chair for as long as you like. The staff is the friendliest, most knowledgeable folks. Always smiling , they are willing to accommodate their guests. They truly like their job! We will be returning on our next West Coast visit.
Our visit here was so wonderful! Beautiful outdoor Mediterranean vibe. The pool was amazing! The bed and pillows felt like sleeping on a cloud. The front desk was so welcoming and kind. We love this place and will be back.
Everyone is very nice and accomodating. Rooms are very good with large good size bathroom. All the rooms surround the pool. About 30 feet to the palm canyon Dr the main drag of Palm springs. Convenient parking at the hotel. We recommend it and well stay there again.
Exceptional boutique hotel experience in Palm Springs. Lovely hotel in heart of downtown near all shops and bars with pool open 24/7. Adults only property - king and queen rooms only with just one bed - very much intended for couples or singles and a mellow experience.Free champagne at check-in, unlimited candy bar available all day and free daily breakfast. Nice poolside cafe for food and drinks during the day.Only negative is no gym available. Closet available gym is about 1.5 miles away, has a $12 surcharge.
A beautiful, peaceful, relaxing experience at the Spa Andreas. The amenities are incredible!!! Loved the dry sauna, and outside pool and jacuzzi area. They have locker room, relaxation room, food and drinks available. Excellent customer service and experienced therapists/ estheticians. I highly recommend this spa.
I dont often write poor reviews but this hotel had a lasting negative impact on me and my family that is necessary to share. I showed up to my prepaid reservation with my wife and 1-year-old daughter. It was late in the day and my family was exhausted from long travel. The hotel clerk unapologetically refused my family entry to our room, saying this was an 21+ hotel and could not admit babies (I assure you, my baby will not be drinking). They took our money and would not give us our room. When I checked the listing again it was incredibly vague and unclear that the hotel did not allow babies. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding and making it right, the hotel flatly denied me entry to my paid room and also refused to refund my reservation. They refused to take responsibility for their vague policy language. The staff did not apologize or offer to help us find a new reservation elsewhere. It was a sucks for you and your baby attitude. Not only is this unethical business practice, but its illegal in CA to deny lodging to a family with a baby based on anti-discrimination laws. It took us hours to find a new reservation and my child was up too late, eventually getting sick. When I called later to ask again for a refund, I was treated the same way and they denied any responsibility. I plan to file complaints anywhere I can to prevent this behavior in the future.
Way too expensive for what it was! The massages at the spa were nice! Only three umbrellas around the pool! The chairs were so hot that you couldnt sit on them!! Rude guests saving more chairs then they needed! The employees were just ok, not super friendly! Except, the lady working the bar by the pool. She had dark hair and bangs. She had a great sense of humor and made us feel welcome! She was SUPER nice!
Lovely, small boutique hotel in the heart of Palm Springs, within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops downtown. Its not posh but the accommodations are comfortable, each room with a small patio overlooking the pool in the center courtyard. Breakfast is included. Simple fare. A nice break from sterile chain hotels.
The Andreas is a great little hotel very close to the heart of Palm Springs walking district. It has a great pool area and outdoor lounge area. Its mostly adults only, and they dont have silly rules preventing the use of the outdoor fireplaces late at night. Its a great place to relax day or night. The rooms range from nice, but not fancy, to spacious and homey. Theyre very clean. The service is first rate, and they do an excellent job of trying to help you get the most out of your stay, including providing entertainment/activity suggestions based on what youre looking to accomplish during your visit.
The moment you walk in, you get greeted with a friendly staff and glass of champagne. The deluxe queen room is cozy, but the executive suite is really nice. Love the water they provide, pool area, and fireplace on the second floor. Shout out to Adam, he was very helpful with all the insightful knowledge of the area! Made us feel welcomed! Would come back again!
Absolutely loved this place! Will be coming back every time I visit Palm Springs. The location is so convenient. There’s shopping, places to eat and bars. It’s an adult only hotel, so the pool was usually free. The breakfast had really nice options and so much cheeeeseeeee (clearly I was happy). At check in they give you a glass of champagne.Every single person who worked at the hotel went above and beyond to help us in any way possible. You don’t find people like that anywhere! If your in Palm Springs, definitely check this place out!
AWESOME!!! I hate to even leave a good review because its a small hotel & I dont want too many people going there & ruining it for me BUT for their sake I must :( This place is AMAZING!! We were welcomed with a glass of champagne & escorted to our room. On the bed was a handwritten welcome note. Prelude to the rest of our fantastic trip & the hotel staffs incredible service. LOVE IT HERE :) !!
My new favorite hotel in Palm Springs. I travel here once a month for business, and this is the best place to relax after a long day. A comfortable and well appointed room, staff that is exceptionally friendly, and a great location. The price was slightly more than a few of the other boutique hotels I have stayed at in Palm Springs (maybe $20 more) but the quality of this hotel makes it worth it. Highly recommend this hotel, and I plan on staying here again.
We did not stay at your hotel but we used the pool. Lovely Ambiance. Our spa experience last weekend was awesome and all the estheticians were excellent, professional and informative. We were definitely pampered ! Thanks again .
This is my 3rd time staying here, the rooms feel like cozy little cottages. The pool is a fun spot to hang with Frank Sinatra music playing in the back ground. Very professional, felt comfortable once we checked in, the staff offered complimentary champagne and cucumber water.
A very lovely quaint hotel. The pool was very clean. Hotel staff is very friendly. Room is as pictured. It is a nice touch to have robes with a candy laid out on the bed for us. We also received a hand written welcome card.
Overall an OK experience. Note that this review is for the hotel, not the spa (which was great). Room was spacious, but had a faint undertone of stale smoke, although it was supposed to be a non smoking property. We werent provided with welcome champagne, and it was a little inconvenient to have to go to the front desk each time we needed ice. A lot of restrictions for the pool area. No floats allowed, although they provided one communal swan for shared used. Would have been nice to be able to float together rather than having to take turns, especially since it was over 100° by 9am and it was significantly cooler on the water. We also were told we couldnt bring our insulated tumblers to the pool, when all we wanted to do was keep ice water on hand. Because again, well over 100°. We also saw several people with glass and outside drinks by the pool, even though we were told it was forbidden.
Rooms are tastefully decorated. Bathroom is of a good size with a decent shower. Spa in room was nice. Pool area is great to relax at. Morning breakfast is a little ordinary fur the price ood the room. Overall a great place to stay.
Beautiful property, staff is extremely friendly, ALL look at you and say hello. Rooms very clean, well stocked, when you check in they briefly walk you around the grounds ending at your room. Deleted a pitcher of fruit infused water. We will definitely return. Thank you ALL.
Laid back hotel centrally located in DT Palm Springs. The staff was extremely welcoming and were prompt with any requests. Rooms are large and offer comfortable beds, spacious tubs, gas fire places, room service, along with streetside balconies (be aware that the street can get fairly loud due to crowds and traffic). The inner enclosed portion of the hotel offers outdoor seating areas with fireplaces, a range of lounge chairs, a pool, hot tub, sauna, and an open bar. Parking was conveniently located and check-in was smooth. Especially due to the complimentary champagne...
My wife and I took a spur of the moment trip to Palm Springs and were absolutely delighted with the accommodations at the Andreas Hotel. Beautiful room, friendly staff walking distance to everything. We also splurged on spa treatments at the hotel and had a fabulous experience.Highly recommended Cant wait to come back
A lovely boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Palm Springs but you wouldnt know it once you step inside. The rooms are situated around the courtyard pool and you cant hear the traffic or ny outside noise. Relax in the lounge chairs and get some sun, take a swim and enjoy some of Bryans cocktails and small plates from the bar! There isnt a better way to spend an afternoon in Palm Springs -- especially when you add a spa service to your day!!
Locations was in a nice area. Hard to find quickly at night as it is not well lit. Friendly staff. Walls are pretty thin, but rooms are cozy. Good service. Standard continental breakfast, nothing to brag about. But they do have fresh fruit.
Relaxing - water and candy bar available in case of need. Hotel room (Mamie Van Doren) is simple and stylish all at once. And for an added bonus it features a jacuzzi, and balcony overlooking the busy street. Hotel staff are here to please. Free parking and superb location. A few steps away from great bars and restaurants.
The hotel itself, and rooms are beautiful, but one employee ruined my entire experience. I was the one to recommend this hotel to my friends and, as a party of 7, I regret it. An employee by the name of Bryan (with a Y) was extremely rude. Another guest witnessed our contact with him in the pool area and even stated that she believed the man came out very racist or prejudice. Will not be utilizing their services again. The only outcome from management was an apology and response saying that his supervisor Gina, was not in until Monday.
This spot is just amazing! The staff is so chill and nice without overdoing it. They offer Champaign when you check in, they walk you to your room, the pool and the Jacuzzi stay open 24 hrs, its super clean and still they are always cleanig, fixing, organizing but in a way that doesnt bother you. The breakfast was on point. And did I mention the staff? The staff customer service is perfect, they are not all over you or extra frendly they are just the right amount of everything and if you need anything it gets taking care of immediately. Ohh and you get ropes
Nice place to get away for a weekend, they treat their guest like royalty, never been treated like this in any other place, pool open 24/7, they serve amazing drinks for a fair price, your greeted with a cup of wine in your check in, with a tour of the place. This place is in the center of everything, provided a quiet night after a long crazy day. Highly recommended for couple who want to spend some alone time away from everything!
Will not EVER STAY HERE AGAIN. My key card (after 1 day here- worked earlier today) will not open either entrance. Cannot get to my room and am currently pounding on the “main” entrance door to no avail. The “office” window is closed with a sticky note I zoomed in with my camera on to read- at lunch! Will be back at 7:35pm. It is 7:05pm. A lady just came up to check in and cannot. We are stuck here- outside. No answer to the phone. No voicemail you can leave. NOTHING. What a ridiculous place!!!
Quaint property, located right downtown. The walls are thin, though, so youll hear folks in the pool and your neighbors. Rooms are really small, too, under 200 sqft. We also had a bed with a frame made of rust and no support. It squeaked so terribly at the slightest move and sagged inward, so my body was on an incline. I barely slept due to how terribly uncomfortable I was, trying not to move or make noise. The price and resort fee were not at all in line with what we got. Two stars is for the pool and decent breakfast.
We were warmly greeted by Eric. After check in got champagne and escorted to out room. Eric then came about an hour later with a pitcher of ice water. The pool was great. The pool bar host gave us a glass of ice water and munchies. THEY HAVE A CANDY BAR!!!! Damn this diet. Lol. It was a wonderful room. Slept like a dream on the bed. We are already planning our next trip
Worse experience! Nikki the front desk woman who thinks she runs the show is very rude. The most disgusting attitude. She will smile in your face and talk behind your back and judges every guest that walks thru the doors. Hotel is beautiful but I would never consider it again. If your not white dont expect A1 service. Dont go out to the bar and come back smelling like a cigarette because they will accuse you of smoking in their property. I have to say it once more, worst experience ever!!! Dont consider this place unless your Square!
I just had the best massage/facial combo! Now I’m relaxing by the hot tub having some complimentary champagne. Bri was absolutely amazing! She has great hands and did the best facial!! my skin is glowing and it was sooo relaxing. Not to mention she has great energy and she’s super sweet! I will definitely be back and request Bri! She gives the BEST scalp/neck/leg massage too!! I wish it was 5 hours long. The front desk girl was great too! All around wonderful place
This spot only has about 20 rooms so it was quiet and intimate. The front desk staff could not have been nicer and showed us all around. Adults only, and the pool/hot tub was open 24/7 which we absolutely appreciated.
I recently booked my trip to Palm Springs and looked foreward to staying at Andreas Hotel and Spa. I stayed here last year and had a great experience. This time around, I had a different expirience, and not a good one. Long story short, my flight was delayed which made me miss my connecting flight and by that point I was not going to make it to the hotel until the next morning. I called the hotel to explain my situation and ask if I could switch my reservation to the following day since I would not make it due to my flight. I called about 4 times and left a voicemail, no answer and no call back. I then called Expedia since I booked with them, and they got in touch with the hotel... The manager of the hotel told me I was out of luck and he would not refund or change my reservation but would give me an early check in. Great thanks, that helps!... NOT. I would understand if I was cancelling completely and if they allowed that for everyone, then they would be in a mess BUT I was still planning on staying and they were still going to get their money. I am so disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Also, this are a 3 star hotel we are talking about, it is not an amazing place but AFFORDABLE, I advise they work on some changes. It is sad to me because I really had a great first experience here, I will make sure I advise anybody I can to not give this business their money.
I had a horrible experience with this hotel. We had planned a trip to stay here, and a few days ago I unexpectedly lost my mom to Covid. Her memorial service would fall on the same time as my trip. I called the hotel and asked if I could rebook our room for the beginning of March. They asked me to send them the death certificate which I did in hopes they would honor the same price as the original dates, as this was an unforeseen event. When they refused to honor the price I said it was fine and asked for my money back because they wanted to tack on an additional 100$ a night to our already expensive stay. They refused to give me a refund and said it did not fall under their cancelation policy. They told me to call the third party I booked through which was Expedia. Expedia then tried calling their manager and the manager still refused to just give me my money back. Instead he charged me 196$ cancelation fee on top of the deposit we already paid. I was appalled at how these people did business especially in such a time as this. They did not operate in good ethics and I in good faith could not support a business that was extremely insensitive to this situation. I’m glad you got your 200$, I hope that it was worth it to you. In that moment you were having me choose between going to my mothers funeral or being charged by your property for something that was completely out of my control, even after upon receipt of the death certificate. Unbelievable!! You lost my business which I was happy to give you, and anyone I know who is planning on staying at this property or looking for a recommendation in Palm Springs, I will advised otherwise.
Misleading and expensive for what is shown on website. Word of wisdom. DO not even try to explain issues on certain review sites as I have done.... They flag and have no issue calling me a liar. I am a 46 year old who has maybe spent half of my life in hotels for business. I get no pleasure in in writing poor reviews but simply am saying that for $500 for 2 nights the hotel was really very under the standards. Poor bed, loud AC, poor breakfast and a management that is so rude it was shocking.
Its historic, the epitome of old Palm Springs. This original beautiful Spanish treasure was known as the Royal Palm. The rooms are cozy but the ambiance is big. My bed was us, a fireplace glowed, cable and internet available in the roo.s. The staff is down to earth, friendly and helpful. They have a breakfast served daily and the staff and owners bring in fresh grapefruit from their own trees! A spa on premises, pool side bar and snacks. Its a boutique size space, adults only, great location. I stayed two nights in a double room and one in the suite during the Coachella Festival. Your a doorstop away from the main Street, restaurants, shops and good street fair. Im coming back!
My experience at the Andreas spa was the worst spa experience I’ve ever had. If I could rate it zero stars I would. A group of us went to the spa for a bachelorette party. The spa assured us that they could handle the number of people in our group (which was 7). They could not. The spa changed our reservation time at the last minute making the whole experience feel extremely rushed. Only 2/7 members of our group received all the services that we paid for. The spa told us that there would be decorations for the bride (which we were charged for) that were not done. The aesthetician that did my facial was rushed and rude and did 10minutes of the 45 minute facial I paid for. I could hear staff in the hallways shuffling and running around in a panic throughout the whole service. The massage therapist smelled of body odour and cigarettes, and the massage itself was not good. The lady at the front desk, Lily, specifically told us that gratuity would not be included in the bill, however after we left, she billed 20% autogratuity to the credit card. When we tried to get this fixed, there just seem to be more barriers. This was over a week ago now, and no charges have been reversed. Overall I would not recommend this spa, and in fact you should probably go anywhere else.
I did not get to stay here so this review is based on their unfair cancellation or re-booking policy. Due to an unexpected family emergency I needed to change my reservation a full week ahead of the booking, I was informed no changes were allowed if done less than 14 DAYS prior to reservation date & I would be charged for the full 1 night stay. Wow wow wow! And I was so looking forward to visiting this property but this just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. Calls into question their honesty when they charge you for providing absolutely nothing.
Cute little place to relax for the weekend. Our room was clean and nice. The pool was relaxing. Staff is nice. Had a little hiccup with the spa package but they made good.
I had a friend from NYC visiting who is super athletic. Having been to this location many times before I thought why not go in for a friends spa day and relax. To my surprise the massages being offered to us were horrific. My massage therapist had me sit up bedside while they made up stories of elastic connection muscles and why the massage had to be this way. My guest/friend came out shaking his head and saying I hope you’re not having to pay for this, it’s the worst massage I’ve ever had. This was no where near the typical deep tissue the Andreas has offered in the past. This was a therapist who continual talked and who rubbed on me with little tissue connection. After completing our spa day (massage and facials) I paid in excess of $600 for the services. The only thing that was appealing and worth while definitely was the facial. The ladies were amazing.Upon writing a letter to the company and expressing my disapproval in person I was offered a free massage for two. I’ve been trying to reach the center for in excess of 60 days with no reply including phone messages and going to the center in person to find it to be closed during the week. How do I get that if no one is willing to respond or follow up since that conversation? If you need a spa getaway I would definitely seek other options as Palm Springs has some great facilities. This was one of my worst spa experiences ever!
Very poor customer service. I missed my appointment because of an accident on the freeway and the spas management would not honor nor refund my appointment. I had to pay full price for no service. I understand the cancellation policy but I never intended to cancel so I believe something should have been done for me. The employee at the front desk informed me that they werent booked for the next day and that it would be up to management to let me reschedule. I am very disappointed with the management and would not recommend this establishment.
The long and short of it is this: for the price (around $300/night), the hotel is sub-par.My room was nice; generally clean, but very outdated. The hotel is a historic landmark, and thats nice and all, but they could use some redesign as my room truly felt like it was a mix between 1940s architecture and technology from 15 years ago.Heres the worst part for me: my room was also above a bar--they neglected to tell me this, though they assured me that someone should have told me when I reserved the room (no one did). The bar is lively and kickin until at least 2am every night, so beware rooms #223 and #224, they are a nightmare. I complained several nights and upon checkout begged for some type of discount given the nightmare of the constant noise night after night (I was there 4 nights). The front desk employee (when there was anyone there) did nothing for me and told me that I could email the GM of the hotel, Gina, and that she would give me some type of credit back. Ha! I emailed Gina with all my information and she didnt so much as respond back in ANY way. What a joke! Terrible customer service. There was one bright spot among the hotel and staff and that was a lovely employee named Tina (not to be confused with Gina!). Tina was attentive, nice, accommodating with whatever she could, and made one heck of a Long Island Iced Tea. Thanks, Tina, you made an otherwise crappy hotel stay much nicer! Tina is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1.If the hotel had A) done ANYTHING for me when I complained numerous times about the noise, or B) given me ANY sort of response to my email and/or rebate on my stay, I could have forgiven some of this hotels shortcomings. As it is, theres very little to warrant giving this hotel much higher than a single star. I will not be staying here ever again and I will encourage others to avoid it as well.Bottom line: Outdated rooms and amenities, lack of staff (with only 2 of them friendly at all), high priced for what they deliver, rooms above a bar, noisy, inconsistent and rude cleaning service, only 1 truly customer-oriented employee (if Tina left, theyd have nothing good going for them). With SO many other options in the area, Id avoid this place if at all possible.
My mom and I came to Andreas Spa for the two hour ladies day package thats comprised of a one hour massage and one hour facial. We had the pleasure of being accommodated by Marci and Chardonnay. Dont let Marcis more delicate stature fool you, she has a set of strong hands and really knows how to deliver a great massage. Chardonnay on the other hand offers a very delicate touch serving for an extremely relaxing facial. The whole experience was pleasurable - calming facility, very clean, and great customer service.
OMG, Cant day enough about Andreas resort! Got the BEST deal for Andreas on Groupon $80/nt. Not only a coffee bar in the lobby. But also a candy bar! Built in the 1930s the resort had had a complete makeover. Rooms are Clean & comfortable. Has a poolside bar, appetizers, sandwiches. Pool, jacuzzi open 24hrs with quiet time after 10pm. Keurig coffee maker in room. Service is excellent. Continental breakfast in the lobby. Got a complete tour upon check-in. Compared to my previous night dealing with roaches (also $80/nt) at thenew Palm Springs inn. This place is night & day! Andreas Resort & Spa is old Hollywood Elegance revived. Location is tucked away in the downtown shopping district. Ill stay here in a heartbeat again.
Absolutely charming hotel in a great location. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Luxurious rooms, great breakfast and lovely poolside snack bar. Loved the fireplaces and the comfortable seating all over the place.
Friendly staff, room was nice, and breakfast was the best i have had in the multiple hotels i had visited during my roadtrip.i loved the tub with the jets but please re model it so that two people can fit!
Nice hotel. Staff is great and has been very nice and helpful. Room is pretty nice but some sounds easily heard from outside. Breakfast is pretty weak even by continental standards. Overall would stay here again.
Hotel is conveniently located downtown, with many stores and attractions within walking distance. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are unique with interesting layouts and homey decor.
I payed for my room in cash and they debited an extra amount in my debit card that was supposed to be reimbursed a few days after we stayed there. Now they are saying they have no records of us paying in cash. We never got our money back and the staff was so rude when I complained!!! I never leave this kind of reviews Im a very easy client. But this was too much for me! Not only I lost my money but I lost my time trying to explain that I wasnt lying.
Small Hotel but very nice and well maintained. Staff was great and it was the perfect place for our anniversary. The couples package at the spa was outstanding! Will visit again soon!
Perfectly chic and cozy! Adult only, total relaxation escape but walk to all the excitement of Palm Springs!
Historic, relaxing environment. Decor beautiful.prize reasonable value price. walk to downtown Palm Springs especially during Thursday Farmers market.spa services available with breakfast.heated pool jacuzzi and the lady at the bar makes excellent margaritas
The area and the hotel were great. The hotel was 21 and older so its really quiet. The room was clean and the host was very helpful and friendly. The area offered a lot of great restaurants in walking distance from the hotel.
I felt like a pampered movie star, the grounds and room were impeccable, my wife and I treated like family! This is a small intimate facility in the heart of stunning Palm Springs!
Loved this place. Enjoyed the private spa. Loved the customer service. Very friendly staff. And everything was so clean. Perfect getaway. Thank you guys for making our stay so special!
Lovely hotel. Stayed with my sister for 1 night and we loved the hotel. The staff is super nice and accommodating and the rooms are very clean and inviting. Would definitely go back!
Loved the pool, loved the room. Only problem was having a room right on a main road. It was loud from road noise and occasionally from people in the street. Ear plugs solved that, though.
Decent location, the room I randomly booked thru hoteltonight was one of their better ones w/ a jacuzzi tub. Within walking distance to downtown
A quiet spot amid a bunch of big brand name hotels. A lucky find with great customer service, free breakfast, and a poolside bar...and only 25 rooms.
Was perfect 24 hr pool..loved it. Right on strip. Own private door enters strip..
Beautiful boutique hotel! Staff was very friendly and we were even greeted with champaign! Beautiful rooms, very cozy.
Beautiful, great value, beautifully appointed rooms, very relaxing pool and hot tub. Very clean great staff. Candy bar pm 😊
The jacuzzi and the sauna are closed. They dont mention this on their website. When you ask them about it theyll tell you that you should have gone to the governor of Californias website to make sure before you visited.
Cute nice little hotel. The wife had a facial and spa treatment and said the staff was very nice and the treatments were great!! Highly recommended.
Heather the massage therapist was new and did not turn on music, lights stayed fully lit and no massaging, just oiled. Tina, the gal that did my facial was top notch.
My girlfriend and I stayed here last weekend and had a fantastic experience. The entire staff was very welcoming and friendly.
UNFORTUNATELY…. This place knows nothing about hospitality and knows how to say UNFORTUNATELY every other word. Don’t expect anything from them… don’t even expect a late check out on a Sunday when they aren’t even open on Monday for business. They don’t want to do ANY WORK…… so if you don’t expect anything from anyone then this is the place to go and overspend your money at.
The spa is great. I love the facial and massage combo. Amazing service every time I go!
Dont go here if you are a smoker of any kind, unless you pay the fee up front. Personnel are not pleasant if you are. There are other places like this one even more private that accepts it w/no extra fee.
This is the only place we stay when we visit Palm Springs. Friendly staff, clean facility, excellent pool, and beautiful rooms. I have nothing but good to say about Andreas. I highly recommend!!
Very peaceful and quiet, with guestservkces being hospitable and approachable. Small area but makes for a nice romantic aura right in the center of the shopping center.
SPA Review ONLY: we had a lovely spa experience here. We did the couples package and had a lovely time.
Beautiful rooms, clean outdoor pool and jacuzzi, wonderful staff, very informative. Very romantic getaway, sophisticated.
We only went to the spa, which we got a couples massage. The experience was very relaxing for the both of us and we felt like the staff was friendly and experienced.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms-a hidden oasis. We had a great stay
5 star accommodations and beautiful facilities like pool, hot tub and sauna. Wifi can be pretty weak and slow though.

Great vibe, great spaces, great service- not so great bed/mattress... Opportunity for improvement!
Amazing design, service, location, and cleanliness! The team creates a very special experience.
The hotel is well kept, clean, and modern. There is valet parking and bell man service.
We stayed one night at Andreas Hotel. Every aspect of the hotel from the rooms to the staff was very good.
Fantastic adult hotel, Andreas is our new go to place when we visit Palm Springs.
Wonderful front desk staff. Had issues with my room phone and their telephone vendor was quick to respond.
Great service, lovely ambiance, and 24 HOUR POOL! Definitely would stay again.
Love this hotel, the only thing if change is the towels are rough as sand paper.
I havent finished my stay yet. As of now my experience has been great and would recommend it.
Everyone at this hotel was so kind and accommodating. I would stay here again for sure.
Beautiful tucked away gem in downtown Palm Springs ~ The spa is amazing!! A must!!

Great place to stay while in PS..staff is friendly..rooms are great and close to everything!
Its a small hotel, with a beautiful pool. It feels like you are transported to an oasis.
Please dont let the website fool you.... It isnt as nice as they make it look. And very limited amenities. Rooms are so so..
Very nice hotel. Well maintained. NO kids.
No hot water. No response from management. Gina who? No support for an overworked staff.
