Palm Springs Beautiful Spa Massage

I had a wonderful massage at this establishment today. Im a certified massage therapist myself and was in great need of a massage. My massage therapist was very thorough and professional by finding all my tight areas and listened to my request for not too deep of pressure. I will definitely be back. I agree with a previous post by stating yes,please be sure to tip your massage therapist generously. This encourages them ,shows your appreciation for their time and talent and offsets their wage as employees. :)

This was my first ever massage and the bar has been set incredibly high. Peaceful setting and wonderful masseuse who made sure my wife and I were comfortable the entire time. My wife is a more experienced massage receiver and said this was the best massage shes had! Thank you

Updated 3/25/24So disappointed. Took my fiancé to a 9am appointment on Sunday and the massages were horrible. Either too tired, distracted, or sick (they were both coughing and sniffling), my fiancé and I both received massages that felt like they should have been free. One handed, no pressure, lots of pausing, no communication, sniffling, coughing. Such a waste of my money.What a let down after my first visit.I won’t be returning. Great atmosphere.Incredible calming place. I just loved it.The masseur has got each single knot on my shoulder and neck.The price is also very reasonable.I super recommended! 🤗

Hands down the worst pedicure Ive ever had! The tools seemed incredibly dirty, toe nail clippers rusty, no liners in the pedicure tub, comically Cold water. She nipped my skin twice with her filthy tools. They do not seem to be professional manicurists at all! I was hoping the massage would be good, considering theyre a massage place & Ill pay Xtra for a longer massage, if its is enjoyable. I got noo foot massage at all! My boyfriend got a quick foot massage with his pedicure, not sure why i didnt receive the same. All their products are from the dollar tree, which should have been a red flag from the beginning. The paint job is messy and rushed. The whole pedicure was barley 20 min. If the pedi is bad, I normally just eat the $40+ tip& never return, but this was so bad I have to warn others about it! Stay away for pedicures!!

Holy Cow! Felt like I was getting a massage in a parallel universe. Seriously deep! I could hear the knots in my shoulders unfolding in this amazing, and unexpected massage experience. This couple massage was one of the tippy top highlights of our time in Palm Springs. Our traveling companions, went the next day and were equally blown away. Go for it!

The massages me and my partner received were great. my masseuse took his time and really made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Never felt pressured by them. Sure the ambience isn’t luxurious compared to resort spas but we weren’t there for pretty. It was clean and respectable. One of the best massages I got for the best price. Highly recommend!!

Had an hour long massage here from a male masseuse that was incredible. Great pressure. Highly recommended.

This is a nail salon with spa aspirations. You get a nice Asian front desk lady that speaks English, and reflexology is actually a soothing foot massage with zero knowledge of pressure points. The two folks that worked on our feet didnt speak a word of English, but the guy left me happily relaxed at $40/ 30 min, which is half what youd pay at a true spa with licensed therapists. As long as you understand that youre not getting a real massage (and Im very picky, because I went to massage school and I feel like people should know their anatomy), its a nice enough experience.

Absolutely beautiful experience!! My husband and I got a couples massage while on vacation/work trip and I cannot say enough good things. The full body massage was fair priced, amazing, and the staff was extremely kind!! I work in hospitality events so I will definitely be recommending to my clients!!!

Everything is fine, their 90 mins. Combo massage for $60 seems okay and relaxing after but youll be surprise after you had the massage and ready to pay their services they gonna ask you for a TIP of $20 and you should follow the amout theyve said.So, we ended up paying $60 + $20 tip for each because we did is a Couple massage in total of $160.00

Went to this business today for the first time. The massage therapist was fantastic! I prefer firm touch massage as i have back problems that require real muscle work. Was so much better than upscale spa i went to a few months ago, and 1/2 the cost. Will definitely return for regular service.

DO NOT GO HERE. They are not professionals and do not seem to be licensed. They are extremely unprofessional opening the door while getting massaged. They do not ask if you have any medical history. I am a small person and felt like my rib was about to crack with how hard they pressed and put pressure. My two other sisters also got massages and they even said please don’t put that much pressure and still they did. It is not worth the 70 dollars. Also the place is not sanitary and feels gross.

I was so excited to get my first full body massage but was quickly disappointed. I got rubbed in the same spots over and over for 10 min at a time and my foot massage was only the bottom of my foot being rubbed. Not the top ot toes. Ruined my massage experience.

My mom and I had been to this place before for massages and they were great, albeit no ambience at all. When we phoned to booked today we specifically asked for 2 female masseuses. When we arrived we were told we had to have one male. It was clear that both the female and male masseuses had no formal training whatsoever. Very unprofessional with doors being opened and noise in the facility as well as improper draping. We felt we got totally ripped off and paid for an hour of wasted time!!! They always ask for cash payment when leaving. Do NOT book here and waste your time or money.

The massage was not good. We and my partner got a couple massages, they kept opening and closing the doors while talking with the person on the other room. The massage itself hurt my partner so bad he has a Hugh red mark on his neck and back. The price was fair but when we paid the girl added more tip like she didn’t hear what we said. So don’t go there it’s not good and if you’re already going make sure you pay cash so they don’t over tip themselves.

I had a wonderful massage by Charlie at this spa. I will absolutely come back when I’m in town!

This was by far the most awful massage I have ever had.I booked a 90 minute massage and have a bad back. In fact I am having a 3 rd surgery on my back next month. I wanted an all over body medium massage. I had been sick the past month and wanted to relax. Within a hour of coming home my back is red and in pain: not my lower back where my pain is all the time, but between my shoulder blades. He must have worked 30 mins in one areaand I am a small person. Twice is had to ask him to back off. Not once did he ask about pressure or if I had any pre existing issues. I am in so much pain 7 hours later and my partner is fuming. He said he is calling tomorrow to complain. No one spoke English, and they had you sign a waiver which I couldn’t read it was so small. I doubt these are licensed or documented workers.It was dirty and the place smelled : it was absolutely awful.We are filing a police report and complaint with the better business bureau. I may have bruises in the morning .Do NOT GO HERE! Pay extra for a decent place: I thought being in downtown PS it would be a legitimate place.

Went here on Feb 6th. I called them around 545pm and they were able to see me right away for a 90min session at 6pm. I arrived late since I had trouble finding parking but I still got my full 90mins.Im a CMT myself and have had a hard time finding someone good and affordable in Palm Springs to work out my knots but I am so happy I came here. The male MT here had amazing pressure, worked out all my knots, and did meridian points massage, with stretching as well. He did involuntary back alignments which was fantastic! The massage itself was mostly deep tissue work which will leave you feeling sore a few hours later or the next day. Lots of people who complain about soreness dont seem to understand that a massage is a manipulation of the muscles aka working out the muscles without actual exercise. Thats why you feel sore after. Lots of the reviews here are claiming that they were injured or bruised, but Im sure these people are used to SWEDISH massages or just getting lotion rubbed on them.The only reason Im giving 4 out of 5 stars is because he did not massage my quadriceps AT ALL which is always an issue at these Asian-type massage places. To avoid any inappropriate touching they just avoid the thighs altogether which is so disappointing to me as I do squats when I work out and NEED my quads to be worked on.In any case, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. The people giving low reviews with negative comments are the type of people who are used to going to high-end places like Burke Williams, well this isnt that! This is your typical Asian affordable spa. The massage rooms are small, with swinging doors, divided by plywood walls so yes, you may hear the massage next door, and yes the massage therapist may walk out of the room to grab lotions or hot towels, but thats standard practice, nothing unprofessional about that.If youre in the area check them out, and be sure to bring cash! Giving 20% tip is standard for ANY service type of work so even if you didnt have the greatest massage in the world, dont be cheap or rude about tipping.

For the price of $60 for 1 hour it was good. Definitely not the best massage I’ve had but for the price it’s good. They should play some soothing music while you get massaged. It was lacking in that. You can also hear the person in the neighboring room so some music would help with that. My masseuse was really nice and thankful for the business. I would probably return.

DON’T GET A MESSAGE HERE. This place is not acceptable for many reasons. I don’t think in any way the people giving the massages are licensed massage therapists. They are young men, guessing their sons or family. Pretty shady stuff happened I’ll just leave it at that.

Do not go here. Massage was okay at best. But was unable to relax because the masseuse reeked so badly of cigarettes, he used nasty cigarette fingers dipped in lotion to massage my face and I was disgusted. I told the person at the front and she didn’t apologize or offer any discount or anything at all. I’ve gotten a lot of massages in many different places and sadly this one made the worst 5 list.

I am giving a 5 star review because despite my trepidation and almost walking out, Im so glad I didnt because I received an amazing massage from a male massage therapist. I feel so much better and my pain is much lessened.It would be perfect if this place would de-clutter the reception area and perhaps invest in updating the bathroom. I am in town a bit unexpectedly and while I dont consider myself bougie, my first impression made me want to walk out. Didnt exactly get the spa vibe.HOWEVER, despite hearing other massages going on close to mine and the woman who (loudly) returned to search for her hearing aids, I cannot believe how amazing my massage was. The therapist I had is obviously highly trained and knew his stuff. I have many issues and he worked on all of them. The scalp, face and fingers were a much-needed treat. I will go back next time Im in town!

Always a great massage no matter which therapist I get. And despite what some of these reviews say, there are walls between the rooms. The rooms have doors, no curtains. It is a professional setting. The front staff is always friendly and never pushy regarding tips.

Lots of room for improvement. Doesn’t ask what pressure you want or if you prefer male/female masseuse. Massage was rough - too hard and not gentle. Masseuse was coughing and o was cold. They wanted to tell us how much to tip. I will not return.

We saw the stars on Google and the good pricing and decided to try this place for ourselves.1. The place was clean and the rooms were neatly set up.2. The pricing was really good. $60 for 60 minutes and $90 for 90 minutes. We chose the 60/30 combo.3. The massage itself was ok for my bf and it was a bit subpar for me. The pricing matches the massage for the most part. However, I’ve had better massage for similar prices in the heart of New York City. The masseuse didn’t ask me what type of pressure I wanted beforehand and he wasn’t consistent throughout (firm sometimes but light to medium most of the time) so it was hard for me to tell him the specific pressure I wanted anyway.4. As we were walking out of the rooms to pay a woman that wasn’t there before showed up. She was wearing sunglasses and a hat indoors. I gave her $200 cash for the $180 service. She was holding the $20 change and said “$20 per person tip ok?” I was really confused like I didn’t have THAT GOOD of a massage but maybe it’s ok since it was a cheaper massage. She then went on to say “ok $20 per person, if you don’t have more cash you can pay with a debit card”. Then I started to felt forced. My bf then said $10 more, $15 per person, and she kept typing $19, $15 on the machine until my bf said it in a demanding tone “$10 more, $15 for each person, they can split”.We walked out of there feeling like it was a okay massage for a not so great experience. I’ve never had someone demand tips like that before.3 stars because it’s clean, a small business, and the massage wasn’t terrible. It didn’t hurt afterwards but there wasn’t a sense of relief during the massage either.

I had a 90 minute combo massage with Michael. It was 60 min body (first 20 min is with a sheet on and being rubbed with the sheet). The remaining 40 min was with oil and was great. After the body massage you get dressed and go to a massage chair where they do 30 min on your feet with lotion. Very friendly staff! They do ask you to review in front of them on Google to get $3 back so that was a little strange but overall was decent for the price.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! 8 hours after massage and my spine hurts, I also have bruises on my back. I had to tell them a couple of times to stop putting so much pressure. Now it’s kinda clear why they are making you sign something that says they are not responsible if they hurt you or you end up dead (??) hygiene is a big issue, bathroom was horrible. They also made me really uncomfortable about $20 tip pretending how it’s too low and I see they did that to other people.

This place is a true gem. The service is fantastic and friendly. Its very clean. The foot massage is so relaxing! I will come back next time Im in Palm Springs.

So glad we found this place. Husband and I had some to kill before going on the aerial tram and decided to get a foot massage. They were able to get us in within the hour (woohoo). It was very relaxing with just the right amount of pressure. At one point my husband fell asleep. It was also a great price, basically a dollar a minute. Will definitely be going back again.

On June 18th, the male masseuse did awesome job on my body and feet for 90 mins. He took his time releasing my stress and knots. I could feel knots everywhere on my back then he made them go away and I didnt feel any knots anymore. This place is nice so are people. If I come back to plan spring for vacation again, Ill come back to them

Leo is an amazing masseur. He is professional and provides the deepest and most stress relieving massage I have had in the desert. The staff is very friendly, professional and courteous. They have been able to accommodate me at a moment’s notice. The value is unbeatable. The physical space is basic but clean and comfortable. All in all a great value and super massage! Highly recommended!

I literally felt like I could fall asleep, my neck had been hurting before but it already feels so much better, the price was more than worth the quality, me and my best friend got massages together and we agree we have to come back! I walked in and it smelled like Korean BBQ. Before you get a “Massage” you have to sign a waiver basically stating that you won’t sue them if they hurt you. I’m guessing because none of them are licensed or trained properly. They were loud in talking and it just wasn’t a relaxing place to get a “Massage”. This wasn’t a massage it was more of a rub down. I asked for a full body for 90 minutes. He emphasized on my back the majority of the time. Hitting a couple pressure points and added some oil. I left hungry and dissatisfied…. I’m surprised that this place is in the heart of Palm Springs. Do better!

Standard reflexology type place if youve ever been to one in LA. My massage therapist was REALLY good though. Probably one of the better if not the best one Ive had. Perfect pressure and really worked out the sore spots without me having to ask.Would definitely return next time were in town.

Had a great massage there! However, I realized I didn’t have extra cash for a tip because the massage person did very well. When I paid for my service and before I was able to ask where the atm was so that I could leave a tip, the lady said “and tip him”. Both were staring at me to see what I was going to do. I do not appreciate the demand to tip because of course tipping is not required, ultimately. It was very unprofessional how that was handled. I still tipped regardless because he did well, but her attitude made me not want to. You don’t treat your customers like that. Very disappointing.

Customer service not the best. We had a couple messages wasn’t the best. Me and girlfriend wasn’t satisfied.. ALL AT !I believe the staffing needs to be more experience.Once you leave to make the payment. It’s cash only..I didn’t like that fact when we made the payment for our message. We booked 2 massage therapists to come to our VRBO for our girls’ weekend. We scheduled chair massages for 6 ladies. The massages were great and I highly recommend them!

Nail shop that also has about 6 partitioned rooms for massage treatments. Not enclosed rooms. Plywood walls that seperate space with a curtain as your door. I could hear other clients. Massage therapist actual left the room to get hot towels 30 mins into the massage. The place felt dirty and cookie cutter massage. Places like this, in my opinion do more harm for the art and skill of being a certified massage therapist. Also restroom was untidy. Hole in the wall and again if it was clean it just felt icky. Very disappointing experience.

We have been going for years and love Palm Springs Beautiful Spa. The massages are great and the prices are reasonable. Very professional and all therapists seem to be trained in the same way so all massage therapists are pretty consistent. They always ask whether you would like it harder or softer, which I respect. Great, great service. I have been other places in Palm Springs, but this is the best!

This was the best massage I ever had. I came from New York for the weekend. I had an incredible headache and pain in my neck. Jack worked on my back for one hour and I feel like a different person. I can’t wait to come back tomorrow!

I would give the actual massage 4 stars but overall the environment was a nail shop and then I was taken back to a room that wasnt clean feeling. I questioned maybe leaving and wondered if I was in a shady shop. Massage was good but then I went pay and left 20% tip on the $40 and they handed it to the massage therapist. He seemed disappointed and the main worker demeanor changed as well . I hope they are paying their staff and not just through tips.

Best massage in town! IMHO!Before COvid, I would get a massage a week at another local spa for body work, and it’s the best investment! Esp at these prices. Nice, nice people. Ask for Jack if you want deep tissue/ fascia work. Amazing.

This is was my experience.. I decided to book a 30 minute foot massage and 30 minute body massage for me and my husband, when we got there the environment was not what I expected.. Our foot massages was done in pedicure chairs It was super uncomfortable because there was more customers waiting all around us so it didn’t feel very private.. my body massage started off great until my masseuse sounded to sound like he was sick or feeling under the weather his nose sounded super runny to the point where I had to end the massage, I couldn’t relax my anxiety was on a super high... Oh and so we paid for the massages before hand and included our tips! at the end she tried to accuse us of not tipping them!! I was so upset about everything! So for me this one is a no..

The massage was amazing! After a 15 hour road trip to Palm Springs it was needed. They were able to get us in right away with no wait. Nice to start your vacation off right with a relaxing massage.

Worst pedicure in my life!The person rushed through, literally went over my feet in one swipe with cream, no work on the heels, very disappointed with the service here. If I could I’d give this negative stars.

Visited this place this morning for a 60 minute massage. Very clean and respectful and very good quality massage. I deeply apologize I unfortunately was unable to leave a cash tip due to a certain circumstance but please visit Beautiful Spa for a massage as they are very helpful and will personalize your massage for you. Very relaxing.

I got a full body massage for an hour and the lady who did my massage made me feel very comfortable. Service was really nice and the atmosphere was very calm. Totally recommend.

Great deep tissue massage at an incredible price. Not gonna lie, its not a fancy place, but my back was jacked and they fixed it. 90 minute massage with major focus on back and shoulders, it was exactly what I needed. Parking isnt great, but again, the price is fantastic, Ill walk a little bit.

Definitely the worse mason ever had. Barely used any oils or techniques. One of the guys spit on my cousins face while doing her massage. It’s very back alley. Not luxury at all, looks like a old nail shop that didn’t do well so not they do massages in the back. They were not trained massage therapists for sure

Started out a great massage experience until we got to the counter to pay. Therapist was arguing with the cashier. Then they charged more then quoted. Awkward. Then the cashier added in more tip then the 20% we left and tried putting in card. Then made us feel bad by saying you feel good right? More tip? We said no, $90 massage gets $20 tip. So awkward. Hotel said they have reputation of chargin too much because tourist dont pay attention. This one does.

I have been driving occasionally to LA or San Diego for a massage for the second half of the pandemic. Beautiful Spa is a great local option for me now. Ned applied fairly heavy pressure which is exactly what I wanted. I walked out of there after an hour feeling so much better.... And you cant be the price.

My wife and I had a 30 minute foot massage and it was excellent. The place isn’t very fancy, but the price isn’t very high. Several locals came in while we were there, obviously repeat customers, to get full massages

Dont let the basic front fool you. The lady and I wanted a nice massage while we were in town. We picked a place with good reviews and came upon this place.They just went right to it and hit all the right spots without saying a word. I did fidget a bit and they helped adjust the headrest. Not the most glamour spa, but would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and awesome massage in Palm Springs.

The front desk is extremely friendly, the place is conveniently located. They are experts at getting into those pressure points, removing the knots and relieving stress. The rooms are clean and the massage is excellent. Excited to go back!

Got a massage from Eva a few times she was wonderful each time and will definitely be going back many times more! perfect amount of pressure, deep tissue but without unnecessary pain, clearly knowledgeable about the musculoskeletal system and acupressure as well!!!

Dont let the scary exterior fool you. Peter gave me one of the best massages Ive had in ages. Now, remember this is Asian massage. You will be in a large room that has been partitioned for privacy, but it is not the same as a European style salon. You will hear conversations clients have with their masseuse and experience a different style of massage called acupressure. Acupressure may encompass ears and glutes. If that makes you comfortable, share with you masseuse. Enjoy!

Wow !I wasnt sure what to expect, but thought I would give it a try.The $60 for 60 minutes was a very vigorous deep tissue massage. He really went all out.The building is not fancy, but the massage is incredible!

Summer gave me a very nice full body massage. It helped me with my migraine and body aches. I would definitely recommend this place. The lady at the front desk was very helpful in helping us park to finding the location. I enjoyed my massage!

David is awesome! I went here to get some spots removed from my face. She is very attentive and goes through the procedure thoroughly. I have had two sessions they were great and virtually painless.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went here yesterday and had the most uncomfortable experience. I would see my friends masseuse stand over me and look at my body which made me very uncomfortable. He would pull my underwear down too far and my friend who was with me also felt very uncomfortable. The lotion felt gross and I needed to shower after. Do not let the price convince you. Don’t go here unless you want to feel violated.

I went here twice in one day - one for a 1 hour full body massage and a second time after dinner for a 1 hour foot massage, and i felt like soft spaghetti both times - at thats what my coworker said.For the full body massage, I had William working on me, and he was able to get the right toughness. He has asked me if he was putting the right amount of pressure, and he has pressed down just the right amount - enough for comfort and just right to release pressure - it hurt a little bit, but it was relaxing afterwards.Ive gone to a few massage places, and there are some who do their first time here, so just a few starting pointers:You can request for either a male or a female.You can ask them to adjust their strength.When you undress, leave your underwear on, and lay face down and use the towel around you to cover your back.You can ask to focus on certain parts, but remember there is a time limit.Falling asleep is okay.At one point, you will be asked to face upwards.Dont forget to tip!

Thought it was a bit pricey for two mens mani pedi and charged extra for nail buffing which is usually free. Didnt receive that long of a massage on hands and feet and seemed a bit rushed for $100. The pedi was pretty basic seemed rushed again. Overall the place is clean. This place is probably better for massages than it is for its nail expertise.

I am not a huge fan of massages due to being sensitive but this was an Incredible massage. Not too deep tissue, very middle ground. I loved it!

These people are not licensed. It was a very odd experience overall and I was uncomfortable. I went with my friend and one masseuse was giving instructions to the other who had no idea what he was doing. We tried it based in on the overall ratings on google. Get yourself to a regular spa…you get what you pay for.

Overall our experience here was unsatisfactory. Pushy on tips and pushy on 5 star review. Kept leaving the room during the massage which definitely cut my time short. Very unprofessional.

Came to this place under my friends recommendation, OMG, super enjoyable and valuable. At the end of the massage, they got a massage tool that I have never seen before on your back, that thing feels so so great. Love this small and clean place a lot, will be back again

Do you like having your toes slackered with a gallon of cheap lotion and jerked off for 45 minutes?? Then THIS IS the place for you! If you like more pressure, don’t worry; the other 15 minutes will be spent STABBING ONE KNUCKLE into one spot in your plantar fascia as STABBILY as humanly possible. I would never send anyone here who isn’t my enemy. Their candy selection at the end was pretty good.

I’m a big reflexology fan, but this place was the worst. Even with an appointment, they seemed disorganized. Lots of people coming and going, my rherapist was up and down and up and down, on the phone, directing staff, etc, etc. go someplace else.
