Alanna was great! Just did a simple gloss today and she explained everything throughout and was very accommodating. Have been here for various services including waxing and hair care and it’s a very professional and clean setting. Front desk receptionists were also really nice too.

My visit to Adolf Biecker Salon was an awful experience! On a cold day, they washed my hair twice with freezing water. I was in pain and shivering from the cold. They didnt inform me beforehand that they didnt have warm water, which was very inconsiderate.I have brown hair and requested my roots be dyed to match the ends. Not only did they fail to achieve this, but they also turned my roots completely black and left the ends dark brown with a reddish tint. The result was uneven and unsatisfactory.To make matters worse, the hair colorist denied my request and essentially called me a liar. Instead of apologizing and attempting to rectify the situation, they refused to accept any responsibility.That was the worst experience Ive ever had in a hair salon!!!!!!

Got an ombré with a bonus gloss. —The only salon I wanna go to in the city!Great vibes, great atmosphere, people, and quality service. Prices are average for hair salon so you pay for what you get but here it is worth every penny!!! Honest.Love it here.

So glad I could find a salon that was open on a Sunday! Had a great blowout and curls done by Tiff and Lucy did a great job with the makeup !! So happy with everything.

I’ve been going here for years. Love the way they do my color and cut. I vary from a balayage ombré highlight to full highlight!! I have thick, black Asian hair but they are always able to do my highlights perfectly. Also love Aveda products and have only gone to Aveda salons because they seem to keep my hair healthy.

Julie is a pleasure to work with. She is a true perfectionist and a lovely person. She knows how to make her clients feel comfortable and does a wonderful job! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for salon services.

This was a fantastic experience from beginning to end, without exception! Booking the appointment, to checking in, the wonderful hair wash that was better than many scalp massages I’ve had, and the amazing hair styling, and make up application!I came from out of town for a wedding and left with a beautiful hairstyle and expertly applied make up! Tina was very experienced, and had great suggestions for my hair, and she came through in every way. Julie applied my make up exactly as I hoped. I’ve left there looking much better than I ever expected having no previous experience with this salon. I am just amazed that when I called, whoever I spoke to took the time to listen to what I wanted and hooked me up with just the perfect stylist, and make up artist. I have been to many salons in the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area and this was one of the best experiences I ever had!

I do not have anything but positive things to say about this salon! I have had my hair done by Ava, Stephanie, Tiffany and Mia, and have had amazing experiences with all. I always leave feeling so happy and confident with my hair. I usually get a glaze + cut/style but this past visit I got a balayage. I was nervous, but Ava took her time to listen to what I wanted and help me decide what color to get, and the result was amazing!I have also gotten makeup/up dos and a hydrafacial from this location and have loved those services as well.Now that I dont live in the city anymore, I still drive 50 minutes to go to this salon because I have not found a salon I liked as much as this. I highly recommend!!

Came here to get my hair dyed. I had black virgin hair and was aiming for a copper color. The colorist, Mia, told me that achieving that color was “impossible” even though i’ve seen plenty of people go from black hair to red. She kept telling me that I would have to get my hair bleached which I personally would’ve been fine with, but she didn’t even ask if I would’ve been willing to get it bleached. Instead, she kept complaining about how bleaching my hair would take so long. It just sounded like she was too lazy to do it for me so she didn’t bother asking if I would want to. I was told to look for other colors so I pulled up my Pinterest and showed her options of brown hair. She said she wouldn’t be able to do every single one I showed her. The only one she said she could do was a dark brown so dark that it was basically the hair color I already had. The lady at the front desk with the short black hair was giving me nasty looks and she was very rude and snobby. I spoke to her on the phone prior to my arrival at the salon because I needed help with directions. I told her where I was and all she said was “We’re on Sansom Street.” Maybe she could’ve mentioned that they are located where there is construction covering up the entire block which explains why I was lost, but instead she said the street name which is obvious and then proceeded to remain silent and clueless on the phone when I was asking questions. I ended up going to Richard Nicholas instead, the workers are significantly much more friendly and they gave me the hair color I wanted, without even having to bleach it btw

I had my brows tweezed and tinted by Julie. She did a fantastic job! She did exactly as I asked and I am very pleased.

It was so great to have a real professional, like Heather, do my hair. Rarely do I find someone of her caliber.

One of the best salons I have ever been to! I come here all the time to get color touch ups and they never do me wrong. Ask for Mia if you are thinking of getting any fun colors (pinks, blues, oranges — she does it all!).

I had a great experience with Mia doing my color and Jennifer doing my haircut & styling. They helped me figure out what would look best to help me reach my hair goals and did a fantastic job!

India did an amazing job on my curly haircut, she made the experience wonderful and I will be back to get my hair cut again by her.

Just had my first experience at Adolf Biecker and I will definitely be going back. I’ve never been able to get my hair colored/cut/style in under under 3-4 hours. They did it in 2.5 hours and it looks great. It’s also a great set up if you need to work during your appointment. They have charging ports at every station. Ava and Stephanie were lovely!

I cant thank you guys enough! From the moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed and even offered some fresh brewed tea, which was especially appreciated because I was coming in stressed needing a bad haircut I got elsewhere to be fixed. Valerie did an amazing job and helped me feel so much better at home in a haircut that felt more like me and less like the choppy mess the last place gave me! Will absolutely be returning for all my future hair needs. Thank you!!

I just got out and my hair cut is SO BAD. i look like an egg now. Its way to short. During my consultation the lady glanced at the image i gave her and then jumped to conclusions.My bangs were done so bad. Most of it is to my eyebrows, ok wtver, the rest is well idk where it’s gone but its def not on my hair.I may come back just avoiding that one lady.

Have to give a rave review of Adolf Biecker Center City - I cannot recommend them enough! Years ago, I got my hair cut routinely at Bieckers Main Line location. When I moved away for 5+ years to D.C., I was never able to find a stylist who listened to me the way those at Adolf Biecker did. When I finally moved back to the area, one of the things I was most excited about was being close to a Biecker salon again!Ive been getting my hair cut by Jenn H. for a year now. I cannot say enough positive things about the entire experience. From scheduling, to the service, to paying, I feel totally relaxed knowing the folks there understand me. Special shout-out to the front desk staff today who were able to amend a billing error and credit me for a promo. I dont trust anyone else in the city with my hair!

Tiffany was wonderful! I was in and out quickly, the price can’t be beat, and I love my new cut. I was skeptical at first because I have curly hair and usually go for a special “curly cut” for 3x the price elsewhere, but this traditional cut was perfect and I knew my curls were in good hands. I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing and caring staff and professionals - I have not had a cut here, but had color treatments from Mia that were absolutely stellar - she is my blonde expert and I’m not going anywhere else!

Be aware that the colouring services do NOT include even blow dry at the end, literally walked out of the salon with wet hair in the winter and no clue as to what the color will look like when it dries

I’ve been using this salon for my balayage for years and it’s always been good. Not amazing but solid, and the service for the price and the quality of the salon as a New Yorker can’t be beat.But then my original colorist left, I saw someone else who was fine but she also left, and this past visit was my first time with Nicole (she’s new at the Center City location). As I said I’ve always thought they did good work - but Nicole knocked it out of the park! She was super nice, really took her time with me, made some product recommendations that were spot on, and most importantly - my hair looks fabulous!!!! Highly recommend her.

I had a great experience. Devon did an amazing job of listening to me explaining what she was doing step by step! My hair looks perfect! There was a mix up in my booking and I didn’t add on that I wanted a haircut as well, Jennifer was able to squeeze me in and did a fabulous job as well. Mind you this was a same day booking! The staff understood I was leaving for vacation and made extra efforts to accommodate me same day!! Highly recommend!!

I have been going to Carmella at Adolf Biecker Center City for a couple of years and always enjoy my experience there. She always gives me a wonderful haircut and has great advice for products. She is also a good conversationalist. We have a good time!

I have flown around the world to see Stephanie. She is the best for sew in hair extensions (I have fine Asian hair), and I haven’t found anyone else I trust. She is truly a wizard and I’ve never been happier with my hair than with her. The salon is beautiful and the staff are lovely. They are great about reminding you of appointments, and have been lovely to coordinate with over email when I’ve been overseas.

I am updating my review bc of their amazing customer service - I was worried about picking a new place to get a haircut when I moved to Philly, so I came here because I knew people who used to go here. I originally didnt love my haircut, but when I let them know they called me right away and told me I could come back and they would have another hairdresser fix it. The second time I went, they gave me a dry haircut (which I prefer) and they made sure my hair fell exactly how I wanted it, without taking too much off. If you are looking for a new place, I highly suggest coming here because of the customer service.

The center city location is beautiful and well kept. Jennifer H did a great job. Provided good feedback and input when deciding on haircut style for an upcoming wedding Im in. Was fun to talk to while sitting, and the final haircut looks great!

Ive been going to this salon for quite a bit now, and I have to say they have never failed me! I have Alanna as my colorist and she has managed to give me the blonde hair of my dreams while also keeping it healthy and feeling good (not like that terrible post-bleach roughness that Ive experienced before). She is super warm, welcoming and truly cares about making sure your happy with the results while also maintaining the health of your hair through any process! I am so thankful I came across this salon, as I cant imagine using any other now!

Everyone here at Adolph Biecker CC is amazing, from the front desk who cheerily greet you at the door to the stylists and assistants. You can tell that they all seriously love what they do and love working for the Adolph Biecker family. Alanna has been my colorist for several years and I now love seeing her in CC which is closer to home. She is exceptional at what she does and has been so patient and comforting to me from my slow transition from dark to light! She explains every step of the way and helps this layperson understand that my expectations are not always possible due to the science of what shes doing, and it comes out exactly as planned every time. Shes also one of the funniest, easiest people to talk to when in the chair. Breage and Riley are also so sweet and always deliver the perfect cut and blow out. If youre looking for a new salon in the CC area, dont hesitate to book here- you will NOT be disappointed!

Amazing place! I was there yesterday for the first time! Nicole totally transformed my hair color , also with the least damaging option which I absolutely love, that they care not only about outcome but also the quality of hair! The color is absolutely stunning and also Brie did a hair cut after ! And she listened so carefully and did exactly what I wanted (even better)! Both girls were so friendly and amazing! Also the prices are so reasonable and it was even beyond my budget! This was my first experience with getting my hair done at a salon, not to mention the first time I colored my hair. Alana and Riley really listened to me and what I wanted and were so knowledgeable and experienced and made me feel very comfortable and I LOVED the end result! Fabulous salon, and has been existing in Philly for more than 10 years. Go here for any service! They only use Aveda products and much less harmful products than normal salons. Professional and safe.

I’ve always gone to the same person/ salon to do my cut and color but I never felt listened to, they always went against what I wanted and I always left the salon feeling discouraged. Alanna has been coloring my hair for over a year now. I have been to her about 5 times now and every time I am beyond excited about my hair. She is so knowledgeable and understands exactly what my hair needs. Not to mention her personality is amazing and she’s such a pleasure to be around. I started going to this salon about 2 years ago. there are plenty of places closer to my house but i still travel out of my way just to go here. Alanna does my color and Jenn does the styling. since i started going here, my hair is the one thing i ALWAYS get compliments on. my color is naturally dark brown. i get highlights so my whole head is basically blonde now, but my hair is still healthy and beautiful! i am never disappointed.

Have always had a good experience getting my hair cut here ans felt very safe with their COVID protocols. The products used are so nice and the stylist is so knowledgeable. I wanted to go a bit shorter than usual and she helped me understand how that would look and provided alternate lengths so we could discuss better options for what I needed. Recommend it to everyone!

Alanna is the best. I’ve done my hair with her twice and every time she delivers exactly what I asked. I go back maybe 3 times a year and the balayage still looks great. She also wants to help you get the results you want without pushing fake products or promises.

Best salon for people with gray hair. They know how to color your hair so that the gray grows in blending with the colored hair. You don’t have to come in every month so the costs are reasonable with this in mind. They are excellent in styling also. Feel very safe in regard to Covid-19.

I get my hair colored by Blair and my hair cut by Jen! I have never loved my hair more than I do now since going to these two rock star hair stylists. I get compliments on my balayage all the time! I even have gotten so many women around Philly to go because they see my hair and they love it, so thank you Blair! As far as my hair cut, Jen does an incredible job with my hair. I have thick, curly, hair and she is the only person that has been able to handle my hair so well. My hair never looked so good! Thank you Adolf and ladies for a wonderful job :)

She keeps outdoing herself to the point where its practically an elevated art form and I absolutely love everything I get from her. Best colorist I have ever worked with!! Kerri gave me the perfect “fall blonde” color and I am in love with it. I even came home and my husband commented on how great my hair color looked. She deepened my roots and gave me beautiful bright “baby lights”. I am so happy! Kerri always nails the color I am going for. She is a true professional in her craft. I even call her my magician! I will never go to anyone else as long as she is around!

The service was incredible!! Julie did my make-up she is a doll!! And even though I sweat like a crazy person, my makeup stayed put the entire day & night of my wedding day!! Cameran did a wonderful job on my hair aswell! Not one piece fell out of place! I recommend this salon absolutely, but it’s the people and the atmosphere that make your visit a pleasure! I ONLY go here to have my hair cut now. Heather does an AMAZING job, and is very helpful in letting me know what products/shampoos to use for my hair type. I have notoriously difficult to cut hair, and she does an incredible job. I highly recommend this salon.

I love Laura and Lauren!! They have the best personalities and always do an awesome job on my hair. Blair and Gretchen are great too. I always leave feeling prettier :) It is on the pricier end, but we all owe it to ourselves to treat ourselves. My only gripe is that the people who wash hair are inconsistent- some give you hand massages and scalp massages and some dont...and we all want massages EVERY time.

Alanna is one of the best colorists I’ve ever met. She has given me the perfect color everytime I’ve seen her and she’s so fun to talk to. My color fades perfectly and keeps so well. Jen cuts my hair and she gives the best blowouts. She’s so sweet and always makes sure I leave looking glam.

I went to the Walnut St one in Philadelphia. I have been there 3 times for haircut always satisfied. For 45 dollars you get a very good service of shampoo, cut and blow dry. Last time, my hairdresser was Alexa who gave me a very good haircut and also a complimentary hand massage. Recently I got the Keratin Smoothing Treatment done by Ruley. It was such a pleasant experience and hair looks so smooth, shiny and straight. There was no hair damage either.

I love this salon! It’s so clean and modern and an easy walk from 30th St. Station if you take the train. They use Aveda products which are all natural and smell amazing. The color shampoo and conditioners have kept my red hair so fresh! I always go to Alanna for color, she’s amazing and always gives me what I want. And she’s super nice and easy going! So it’s really easy to come to a decision on what to do with my hair, she’s understanding. I love getting my hair done here :)

This was my first time at the salon. I was able to book an appointment online and last minute. The salon was clean and everyone was very kind and professional. Heather cut and styled my hair, which Ive already been complimented on while going home. I appreciated her answering my all my questions during the process and her explanation as she worked. Im sure I will be a repeat customer.

I love this place!!! Alanna gave me the most beautiful hair I could ever imagine!! I’ve always wanted black blue hair but after doing my hair for so many times I never had a satisfying looking color, but Alanna made my hair look soo good!!! I love her and now I go to the studio to put gloss on every 5 weeks, and I’m so glad I let her do my hair!!!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Came into the salon after more than a year of cutting my own hair but Amy fixed me right up. Ciara colored my hair with balayage highlights and did a wonderful job of making them look natural. Loved them right off the bat and they still look great almost two months later. Roots are not a problem! Highly, highly recommend this salon.

I’ve been seeing Kate for my brows for over 4 years. She helped me realize that I had been over-waxing and worked with me to grow out my brows. Now they are my favorite part of my face! It’s so nice to never have to worry about whether or not I’ll like the result of my brow wax. I trust Kate so much that I commute from NYC to Philly to get my brows done!

Adolf Biecker has been pretty good but not spectacular. I have liked each stylist/waxer I have been to in terms of friendly personality AND service, however I was pretty frustrated to find out that they have separate colorists vs. hair straightening stylists, etc. So anytime I want multiple treatments I have to see different people. I have really liked the highlights I have gotten there however, so I will keep going back. Also the receptionists are very hit or miss. Some are super friendly and others act like they are paying YOU hundreds of dollars to get hair treatments, not the other way around.

I’ve been going to this salon for a few years and have always had a great experience. It’s conveniently located in University City and I never have trouble getting an appointment. The salon is bright, clean, and everyone there is friendly. I’ve seen a few different stylists there and have been very pleased w/ my haircut each time. They take the time to listen to what I want done and always make helpful suggestions.

I love going to Adolf Bieker.. Tiffany has done my up do a few times and I always love it.. Aimee has done my make-up a few times. . She is super talented and is very meticulous.. I love how she applies make-up it lasts all night long.. looking forward to going back

Everyone at the salon is so personable and the atmosphere is so high class and relaxing for an affordable haircut. I love coming here they always get my haircut just right and I come out feeling relaxed like a new person. And the aveda products smell so good!

Update: The manager of the salon called me, and happily scheduled a correction for me with a different stylist. I received a great haircut from Grethcen, and will certainly go back to see her again.I had a disappointing experience at this salon dispite very high hopes. I asked for my hair to be trimmed, and the stylist didnt trim or check my layers. She only cut the frame of my hair (1/4 inch off the bottom and my face frame). When I asked her about my layers, she said they were fine. The stylist didnt check her work when she was done, and when I styled my hair myself, I discovered that parts of my length were quite significantly uneven (at least 1/4 inch longer than the rest of the length). I called the salon to see if it would be possible to get the cut corrected, and the only option I was seeing the same stylist again to have it corrected. When I asked to see a different stylist to have it corrected because it felt uncomfortable and awkward, I was told that was not an option. I am very disappointed...

I recently got my hair colored by Nicole and cut by Breage. Both of them are incredibly talented and a joy to be around. I cannot recommend the two of them enough for your hair styling/cut and color needs - some of the best in the city!

My review below is 7 years ago.This is an updated one:I’m a very loyal customer and I pay attention to details. Unfortunately, the place isn’t how it used to be for a very important reason: sanitation. I had an express manicure and pedicure and I left feeling that I was wasted my money. I honestly would do it again even if it was offered for free. The lady was nice, but nice does get the job done. I only got some cuticle oil and hand lotion with filing my nails that I could’ve done at home. The equipment was used on me was definitely used on MANY other customers because the file was worn out with lots of streaks and grey areas. Not to mention how the tools were dirty and not clean cuz they had residue on them! When she tried to push my cuticles is hurt because the tool wasn’t a professional tool to begin with, and she only pushed literally two nails and stopped, and she didn’t seem knowledgeable. My nail bed was scratched with buffing because she used a harsh grid when she was supposed to use other grids to smooth the nail bed without damaging it. I’m a professional freelance nail technician that was trained professionally and traveled abroad to learn and get proper knowledge. For 30 minutes on hands and 30 minutes on feet, I can have more done than just filing and lotion.To visit a reputable place that I have known for 7 years and get that kind of service is absolutely disappointing. Not to mention that when she brought a hot towel to clean all the extra oil and lotion that was on hands she threw it on one of the pedi chairs. Wet towel. On the floor. Even if it’s going to be washed, you should NOT do such thing ESPECIALLY when you have (or don’t) a customer on the station. Not sanitary.I didn’t want to write the review and it took me two weeks to think about it, but I still can’t get over it. When my customer ask for an express mani and pedi, I make sure she leaves my station not only satisfied but happy. For an hour, I’ll make sure that this customer will come back again, its all about the service and customer’s satisfaction. Also, I always use clean sanitized tools and ask my customer if they prefer disposable or sanitized tools (which are professionally cleaned and steamed and packed and steamed again) and I would NEVER use the same nail file or buffer twice!!!! The nail station should always be clean and tidy. Is it easy for bacteria to grow or fungus to spread in such a condition. Brand also matters. Customers nowadays are knowledgeable and always ask what is used and where to get it.Last, I had my hair washed and the towels were torn and didn’t smell good at all. The haircut was beautifully done, no questions. Again, sanitation and cleanliness is very important when it comes to a beauty salon. I wish they consider changing the towels and have a professional nail technician. But honestly, I am hesitant if I would want to come back again because I care about cleanliness and sanitation as a top priority. I was visiting Philadelphia on a particularly humid, drizzly day with no specific plans and hours to go before it even made sense to go to the airport. After a bunch of walking around, I thought what would be really nice would be to treat myself to a blow out at a high-end salon. And it was! I stopped in at Adolf Biecker and they were able to take me in relatively quickly as a walk-in due to a last minute cancellation. Briege gave me probably the best shampoo scalp massage Ive ever experienced and styled my hair expertly, using Aveda products specifically designed to combat humidity (the Smooth Infusion line). I honestly cant remember the last time my hair looked so sleek and perfect after a salon visit, or having loose curls look so effortless. The products also kept my hair looking great well into the following day, despite all the humidity. I would definitely stop back if Im ever in Philly again! Not a good experience.I went for the first time to get my hair colored. With someone who has never got hair treated before, no one really paid attention to consultation or trying to find out what needs to be accomplished. They also were twenty minutes late to my appointment and did not apologize for the inconvenience. I understand that I was late by ten minutes which I let them know in advance. I don’t expect them to be ready for me when I arrive, but there was no acknowledgement for a very long time.For someone who refers them a client, they have a poor customer experience. They then, colored my hair and made me wait another ten minutes in the Relax room and told me it would be another ten minutes to get my hair blow dried. I am not sure if this was because of the language barrier or my ethnicity or age, but it felt like an un welcoming and uncomfortable environment to work in. I believe in quality and not fixer uppers, hence would not be going with this salon. Also, they did nothing to improve my experience while I was in salon, so no apology would make sense on this review!

Courtney has been cutting my hair for over two years and I’ll never go to anyone else! She always gives her honest opinion and is up on all the new trends! I highly recommend her

Alanna is one of the best colorists Ive known. She is super professional in making sure your hair stays healthy while undergoing treatment and definitely cares about the integrity of it. She is an expert in balayage/ombré and especially blondes!! Ive been going to her for about three years to lighten my hair and I always recommend her. If youre considering lightening your hair, definitely ask for Alanna :)

Very disappointing!!! I made an appointment for color and blowdry ten days in advance for a saturday afternoon and got many texts with confirmation and reminders until the same morning. I was leaving for Paris on a business trip the same night so that it was essential for me to get my hair done properly and on that very day, When I got to the salon I was told they could only do the color because the blow dry person had fallen sick that day and I could do my blow dry myself. It seems that staff there can only do one thing either wash or cut or color or style. How can a salon like that with so much personnel be unable to guarantee a little flexibility to accommodate for emergencies??? How can they expect the customer to do the hairstyle herself???

I will never let anyone else but Kerri color my hair! I leave looking like I was born with beachy blonde hair - it looks so natural even when it starts growing out. She really knows her stuff and shes so good at listening to what you want. She’s also super sweet and friendly! Highly recommend

Got a Balayage with Dominic (who unfortunately is leaving the salon at the end of December 2019) and was very happy with the results! The price was so much better than the last salon I went to, the atmosphere was great, and the free coffee/tea/water was greatly appreciated. :)

Now, I have only taken part in their waxing services, but if their other services are anything like my experience im sure they are perfection. Ive been waxed at a few other places all varying. But Kate is hands down THE BEST WAXER IN THE CITY. She is worth every penny and she gets it done fast as HELL as well as safe. Go.Also the ladies at the front desk are always so polite and helpful. They are good about squeezing me in sometimes, and I love the day before appointment reminder. Very nice. They have a rewards program too. check it out.Its a good location. great staff. Safe and beautiful services. I always walk out feeling taken care of and beautiful.Id give 100 stars if I could.

Ive been to Adolf Biecker twice to have my roots touched up (I am bleach blonde). The first time, they scheduled me for the wrong treatment even though I told them exactly what I wanted on the phone, so they couldnt take me. Luckily, they were able to fit me in another day, but I had to wait four days for the next appointment. The next time I went, there was a weird ring of hair that wasnt properly bleached on top of my head. They told me it was my fault because I had waited too long to get my roots done, but it has never been an issue at any other salon and my friend had the same problem when she went here even though she had only waited two weeks for her touch up. Both times, they didnt give me the color that I asked for and said I had to go with a beige blonde instead of platinum because the dye wouldnt hold (again, this hasnt been an issue anywhere else). They also pushed extra products on me the whole time, which made me uncomfortable. To make things even worse, they dont include a blow dry with color treatment, so you have to either leave there with a wet head, pay extra, or awkwardly sit there and blow dry your own hair. On top of all of this, my hair was extremely weak after going here. I know this is common for bleached blondes, but even with the Olaplex treatment, the breakage was so much worse after visiting Adolf Biecker than Ive had after going anywhere else. Would NOT recommend going here for hair color.

Ive been here for a consultation and nothing else. Consider this is a salon, Im quite disappointed that the stylists are poorly trained in doing coarse, curly natural hair. For those that do understand the basics, they dont know how to properly approach cutting and styling such hair, which is quite problematic. If you open a studio or hair salon, you should be prepared to approach all hair types.

My hair didnt last until the wedding started. I had to replace curl it. I think it was the humidity that day. The pins were also falling out during the reception. Still had a great time, but its a good thing they took photos before the wedding.

Alanna does great work! She got me to exactly the color I wanted and was super chill to talk to! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great dye job!

This is the worse customers services and experience that I’ve ever had. I have been a customer for so many years at Adolf Biecker at 34th walnut street and I have to say that they don’t care at all about their customers, you are just a number, everything is about money.I just have and awful day and I was looking forward to have at least my hair done today.My appointment was at 3:30 and I was running 10 min late and when I’ve got there they just told me they had to rescheduled it because I was 15 min late, (which is not true as I have my parking ticket with the time I’ve parked my car outside adolf Biecker), but apparently they had another appointment at 4:00pm, really? 30 min to color my hair? And then I sometimes I leave there with marks all over my face, because they don’t care about you, they only care how many customers are going to get that day.Well, you just have one less customer at your salons, there are plenty of salons in Philadelphia were they do really care about their customers.

Loved getting taken care of by the hands of Val.. Felt at ease during the entire time I was there.. Heather is a great host.. and the haircut couldnt have looked any better.. Had an amazing time and would visit again whenever I could..

Ive been going to Adolf Biecker for YEARS and have never been disappointed. I even got my hair and make-up done here for my wedding! The best part is they are always open (Sunday and Monday - crazy!) EXCELLENT!

WATCH OUT FOR THEIR PRICING SCAMS. This place charged me almost $80 for a basic blow-out that is listed on the website for $40+. While I understand there was a plus sign next to the 40, that never means double the price for no reason. I could have easily gone to DryBar or another salon where this service is $40-50 max. Not to mention, it wasnt a good blow-out at all. Never returning.

Jen is very helpful with styling my hair with all the issues with my type of hair growth/loss. She is wonderful and everyone there is so friendly.

For anything waxing related - Kate is your girl. I had tragic brows before I started going to her and now they are fleek. 10/10 would recommend. I don’t let anyone else touch my brows 💕

Jonathan and Apburn are the dream team. I have difficult locks that refuse to be tamed and yet the dream team have turned my course mane into luscious, silky hair. Jonathan has chosen the perfect highlights to create a golden halo and Apburn fashioned a style just for me that looks good everyday. Also, Adolf Biecker has a wide variety of products for hair management, skin care and wellness. The services and atmosphere are worth every penny!! You have to check it out!!

Heather did a great job with my hair! Got a very personalized and flattering cut.

Just went earlier today. Got the Spa manicure and Spa pedicure. Probably will be something I only get once in awhile. But the place is absolutely beautiful with parking not only in front of the building but theres a parking garage right across the street. Mila was very very sweet and kind and the front desk were very nice.

Came in a week ago for a Balayage, was unhappy with the result. they were extremely accommodating and got me back into the salon a week later to get it to the color I wanted and Ashley did a great job!

First time to this salon. Had Alana highlight my hair and it turned out awesome. My hair is bright and shiny. Will be back in a few months.

On the more expensive side, but the staff is very friendly and the menu covers a wide range of services that are more than capable of doing. Also one of the few places in the city that does haircuts as well as brow waxing.
