Kicking music, very reasonably priced drinks. Went there after my sons wedding. They had set up a wonderful area for us with beautiful balloons and signage. Plus a bottle of top shelf grey goose. It was so thoughtful and the owner/s even came out to greet us. Watching the bull riders was a kick. Overall, a great experience and this business deserves your patronage!

Stopped by after my brother’s wedding as they met 2 stepping. Had a blast and enjoyed the array of music they played!! The drinks were cheap and not weak. We loved watching the bull riding! Owners came to greet us and were kind and we really appreciated the area they set up for us to hang out in. Would totally recommend checking this place out!

First, this place reminded me of all the modern guys and gals whom I interact at work with. This review is from my perspective, okay? Good, Im glad we got that right. It is based on quite a few visits to Texas own historical country bars and club visits like a tourist would see, i.e., Billy Bobs Texas in Ft. Worth, Gilleys OG Club in Pasadena, and Gruene Hall in New Braunfels. These three were legendary places on the Texas trail of Fame. Billy Bobs; Touted as the Worlds largest Honky Tonk, Gilleys, the actual setting for Hollywoods Urban Cowboy movie until tragically the suspected arson fire in 1980, to Gruenes Texas oldest dance hall, built in 1878.Buck wild doesnt boast much past a flyer inside it that Im aware of other than the slight boast in one spot I found,...20,000sqft - Longest Bar in Tx @125ft.Ill return to review their food menu another time when I am hungry, as I work in the catering industry professionally. And too, from an actual womens visiting viewpoint, as my date if I return there for a datenight. If shell go there to a very strong twenty something, Bar vibe. Country dance has evolved into open free style line or two steppin to music videos played on overhanging large speakers blaring with no clarity. Theres no acoustics at all in this room. Only echoing bass fuzz noise. She didnt want to attend tonight, and Im glad because of the low attendance on a Saturday night. That is what makes this ones presentation. I suppose everyone spent all their money on HLSR tickets. Youll get to see how parents raise their sons and daughters to be in a public setting. And how sad our social gathering strength meter as a collective really is. Even though I dont drink alcohol, not once did a cocktail waitress stop to ask me if she could offer and mention to me anything food or drink wise. And she walked past me at least thirty times. That is a huge fail in my experience. If you are advertising publicly, for adult catering for the parties; food and beverages. The open free style parking lot was similar to Gilleys, with the growing pot holes. Three stars on a Saturday night in 2024.

First time visit. Came with a wedding party and was set up nice in the VIP area. Had a great time riding the bull. Had a great time on the giant dance floor. Great low priced drinks at the huge bar area. Lots of fun for everyone. No Cover charge. Lots of parking. 18+ Highly recommended.

New bathrooms! New pool tables! Happy hour til 11pm! A separate smoking room! This is the bar and dance club to go to on Friday and Saturday nights and now open on Wednesday nights for those 21+. Awesome music, great staff, and a small kitchen. The bartenders are just awesome, slinging out drinks as fast as can be. The owner is there in full view every night and he couldnt be more personable. Anyhow check it out and it wont disappoint if ya wanna dance to some country or hit music.

I got invited to my friend’s birthday party last night and I had a blast. I’m not much of a club person but this place was super fun. The staff is really nice, the drinks are cheap, and the DJs were awesome. All around a great experience and I cannot wait to go back. Thanks for having us!

This is a 18 ($10 cover)& up($5cover) bar and home to the longest bar in Texas! This is a great place for dancing,playing pool, riding a bull, hitting a punching bag or chilling out in the sports bar and grill area to catch a game and grab some food. They play all the hits, line dances. Place is huge, large dance floor in main bar with huge TV screen. . The Hideaway is the indoor smoking section bar. Has its own DJ, bar, pool tables & dance floor. Girls restroom is huge. Great for the group bathroom trips. The mechanical Bull is in the main bar and is a extra charge. The sports bar area has its own bar and many TVs as well. They do sell food all night till closing. Lots of underage youngsters . Place gets pretty crowded. Drinks are not to bad in price.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! We reserved the VIP section for our boys 21st birthday surprise party and it was the PERFECT place to have it!!Clean establishment, we had balloons, a huge bottle of grey goose, mixers and an area with couches and high top cocktail tables! Manny was wonderful to work with! He answered his emails and phone calls quickly and made everything super easy. We will for sure be coming back and can’t wait to dance the night away again!Oh and the chicken tenders and cheese sticks were INCREDIBLE!!!

Man… I am still recovering from last night. I’m in Houston for a conference and we all went out last night. Our plan was to start our night at Buck Wild and then hop to other bars, but we had such a great time that we stayed all night. The service was stellar and my legs are jello today from all the dancing. The music was excellent and made our night. Keep up the good work. I didn’t know there was food. That would have been better than stoping at the gas station for Takis and Fanta.

My cousin brought me here as I’m visiting from out of town, and wow. What a great vibe and energy! Loved the music, loved the drinks, had a great time. This is Texas at its best - can’t wait to come back!

Not a real country bar, any and every type of hip hop, reggeaton rap and the occasional line dance. Drinks are overpriced and a lot of us derange drinkers, would not recommend. Stampede would be better than this

The new DJ is terrible. Been coming here for years, came back tonight and he was yelling over every song, transitions were so awkward. No wonder the place is empty. Id rather pay more for my drinks at Rowdys with a smaller dance floor than deal with this annoying DJ yelling and cussing in the mic all night.

I have been here a lot when I lived in Lake Jackson a couple years ago, and I came back for New Years to celebrate with some friends. The atmosphere and service of the bar has always been great! However, I was greatly disappointed to find out that the kitchen was out of my favorite bar snack — fried pickles. So, I ordered mozzarella sticks instead, and when I came back around to pick them up there were mozzarella sticks and some chili cheese fries in a tray together. I reminded the guy there in the kitchen that I was there to pick up my mozzarella sticks, and he proceeded to pick them up BAREHANDED from the tray with the chili cheese fries and put them in another tray then hand it to me. I was so shocked that I just took them, kinda laughed, and walked off. But, that’s rather gross and pretty sure against health codes….

Great DJ playing all the good stuff from all eras, and drinks reasonably priced, good Well selection! We always have a great time and look forward to coming back

The music was not the most current. The cashier at the door had the most sour expression on her face. We ended up leaving and hour before planned. Only pros to the list of cons is that it is 18 and over so i can get in as well as the pool tables.

The food was great and is decently priced. For so many people in one building of all ages and demographics it didnt take long to get a drink and the vibe in there was comfortable and welcoming. If you like to dance then this is the place to be! They also have dance classes in which they give free dance lessons to anyone, with or without a partner, before they open 🤠

Had a blast last night! The DJs create a live atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. I’ve been several times and it’s been pretty consistent.

Great dance hall, but make sure you get an itemized receipt from the bar, because the bar tenders arent that good at math. They tried to charge me for alcohol I didnt have and over charge me big time.......ALSO State law says that a credit card payment has to be a minimum of $10 not $15 so if they try to tell you that cant run it for anything less than $15 then show them the state law. The owner may want to change that before he is hit with a lawsuit in forcing customers to spend more than needed.

It was super fun me and my friends loved it music was loud energy was alright, kinda expecting more for a Saturday. But workers were nice. Only a few problems 1. The bull wasn’t working sadly. 2. There’s a sign saying u can get back in with a stamp but when we went to ask for it the front lady told us we had to pay ten dollars again to get in. Also my friend said the sprite wasn’t that good and tasted like water. And they really only had two drink options when it came to soda. But for us being 18 we really did enjoy it :)

I chose this place for my girls night out before my big wedding day, and I totally enjoyed myself to the fullest.The only thing I can say is if the drinks are watered down and that’s one thing that I brought to the managers attention. Other than that I enjoyed myself.

Ive been coming here for years and always have a great time with zero problems. This last Saturday I left my phone in the building and the owner was kind enough to meet me the next day while they were closed. I definitely recommend this place for a great time and good service.

We celebrated my husbands birthday last weekend and had an amazing time! Manny was so sweet and prompt in completing the booking. Jessica was amazing in getting our bottle and taking care of us. We have been going to Buckwild since we began dating years ago and we’re completely satisfied with his birthday celebration. Great atmosphere, great music, and always sweet memories here!

I had a great time for my nieces 21st birthday here at Buck Wild a few weeks ago and I left my ID and Debit card at the club. I forgot to go pick it up for so long and they kept it for me and I just picked it back up. I love the bar because it’s always a great time and they look out for their guests

Great ambiance, good casual dancing place, casual. Dance floor could use a refresher, and DJ could play less polka and more 2-step. Do not eat the food there. If you like dancing and meeting friendly dance folks, definitely the best place there is!

I had such a great time here tonight. The place was HUGE! They had pool tables, a mechanical bull, dancing, and an indoor smoking lounge in the back (thank goodness, because it was cold tonight!). The drinks were really inexpensive and the bartenders were quick so there was rarely a wait. Apparently they have free dance lessons at 7pm three nights a week, so I will definitely be coming back for that! I can’t wait!

My first time going here and it’s a great bar/dance hall. The music was great, mechanical bull, pool tables and 2 really big bars with an attentive staff. I left my ID and cc and the owner Manny was kind enough to meet me on Memorial Day to return it to me! I’ll definitely be back!

This place is always a super fun hangout have been coming for years with my friends. Always have a great time. 10/10, my friends and i love to come here and dance on the weekends and play pool. Theres always really cool people there and everyones friendly. I also lost my boyfriends wallet and the owner held it for a week, everything was in the wallet!

The five stars does not do justice on how much fun I had in this place. It is a great place for all types of people whether you like country or not.The atmosphere is electrifying and the casuals are amazingly nice. I used to come here so often, but it has not been the same quality the last two times. The beer tasted like it was left in the sun for a long period of time. The music choices weren’t the best (and you could tell from the lack of people dancing). The last two times they played a song in the height of the night that completely killed the mood. It took a few songs to right the vibe again. I have not seen the “regulars” who go every single weekend the last few times I’ve been here, and I think that means something.

I’ve been going to Buck for a year now and I love it so much! It’s a great place to hang out with friends and forget about work... for me anyways 😂 but I lost my ID and I was so stressed out about it, but they found it, and the owner personally returned it to me, he’s so nice and so funny, and loves what he does! And we also have the same birthday 🥳 😂 I definitely recommend coming here!!

Its pretty spacious and has a mechanical bull, thats a plus. The guy who runs the bull is super cool and understanding with beginners.On to the bad: came on a Wednesday and was handed a card mentioning the drink special tonight was $2 beers and $2 wells. At the time of closing, the bartender insisted that everything thing was $3 and the drink specials only applied to the summer. This wouldnt have been a big deal if it werent November and there was a huge banner confirming what the hostess told me. Despite the overwhelming evidence, my bartender only gave me $20 back on a $90 tab which I tipped her an additional $30 anyways.Its not a lot of money, but its the principle. Id rather go to Wild West since its closer and they always treat me right. I dont see myself returning even if Im in the area.

Love this place. We had my sister’s bachelorette party this past weekend and I think everyone had a really good time. Staff were amazing and professional, the bartenders were awesome and the club is very clean.

Was having a great time until the owner told me an unmarked table was reserved. I told him I would leave when the party arrived. He told me I could leave now. I reminded him I was there with a party spending money. He told me I dont care find somewhere else with 2 dollar drinks. Completely rude. Otherwise a great place if forgetful owner is not present.

This is an amazing country club. All kinds of music lots of dancing. They even have free dance lessons on Wednesday and Fridays at 7 pm. And you should try the food. I always get tacos because they taste great. Love this bar. I come every weekend.

Good place to throw a few back on the weekend. Owner was nice. Bartenders were friendly and once they realized I gave out good tips they poured my drinks strong (Im an alcoholic not a child) They have a large smoking room with a dance floor and a bar in there as well. Perfect for us smokers that grew up in old school honky tonks back in the 80s/90s and prefer to be immersed in a cloud of smoke. Bouncers were friendly enough, except for one who came up to me around 1:30am and told me my best friend had to leave because he stumbled out of the bathroom. Im sure he did stumble, and he was drunk, but hes also a diabetic and suffers from foot neuropathy so this isnt completely abnormal for him. I didnt press the issue, it was 25mins away from closing time and I had accomplished what I came for.... a good time.

Great country dance hall. Theyve got the biggest dance floor Ive ever seen! Awesome music, excellent dancing, great dance partners too! Exceptionally nice staff, they even have a back bar with a DJ and...Yep! You guessed it; Another dance floor!We love it and it is now our spot!

The bull was broken, the establishment was kind of run down. Defenitely for the younger crowd. The girl in the front whos running the cash register by the food was so sweet and made our trip worth it. Her clothes were so attractive and stylish. Defenitely would go there again just for her.

I love it here. This place is huge, cool place especially during game days. will be trying in the future to convince the guys to watch the game on the big screen up front, while its gals dance it up in the next area or even there where the screen is at (that is, if they have the games on the screen). Learning to country dance (free dance classes on Fridays) with Mrs. Patt has been a blast. Everyones been so kind and Im glad i gave this place a chance a few months ago cause, it brings me lots of joy. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place if you are from there: drinks are nicely priced, girls are very hot, atmosphere is great if you are local. If not, expect to get problems just because they do not like tourists. Drinks and dance does not matter if you do not feel safe. Will not recommend this place to a visitor.

Here on Wednesday March 31 2021 around 830pm this place shouldnt be open on Wednesday you can stay at home and drank & listen to your on music and have more fun. there is maybe 20 to 25 people in here and 80 % of them are in there 60 and above and 15 % or between 18 & 20 and not busy at all and play funky music.this place Play lot of good country on Friday and Saturday and lots of More people and a funer time. This is my first time here on a Wednesday and want come back on a Wednesday every that whey I give it a 2 star because of Wednesday. After posting this review the owner replyed to this post and said I came during there Wednesday dance class and that class leave at 9pm but I was in the parking lot at 745pm eating and deciding if I want to go in because there wasnt that many cars in the parking lot and I went in the club about 8:30 and I was there till about after 10:00 and its pretty much the same people in there and there was no line dancing going on and theres hardly nobody out there dancing the whole time out there

A man that assaulted my sister was allowed to stay in the bar while we got kicked out trying to confront him. What an establishment, taking assaultant’s money and kicking out the victim and her family. This place is insane and there’s obviously so many underage kids drinking and dancing around. As my first time here, this was an awful experience and I would never recommend it to anybody.

Not a fan of smelling like a cigarette at the end of the night. Even though they have a smoking room set aside in another room, it still floats over to the dance floor area.Well beers are price nice at $2 but then Shiner is $4, as well are imports.

This place is awesome I reserved for my 23rd birthday here and Mani was so nice and everything turned out perfect even ended up leaving one of my gifts and called for them to hold it I really appreciate them holding it I come here a lot to dance and never had any problems or complaints about this place great music great dance floor!!!!

Great place to hang out with friends, have a few, and dance. They have free popcorn too.My wife and I have danced together in many bars all across Texas and even in a few other states for 19 years. This one is one of my favorite to dance in because their huge dance floor allows plenty of room to dance even when the bar is crowded. Cant dance at the one down the street; their dance floor is less than a quarter the size of Buck Wilds. The crowd is also a bit younger than the one down the street. Is that good or bad? I really dont think the average age of the crowd makes a difference when I go out to have a good time and dance.Not only is there a huge dance floor, there is a smaller hang out bar in the back with its own dance floor. The music there is a little older and Texas Country. There are plenty of pool tables and a mechanical bull thats waiting to throw you off. The bouncers do their job and take it outside pretty quick. The buss boys do their job a little too well at times. There are three huge TVs projected on the wall. If there is a playoff sporting game, they will play it. Most the songs play the video on these screens. When neither, they will play either a slide show of pictures of the bar or various videos of monster trucks, dirt bike racing, etc. As always, ladies get in free before 10:00 pm.I had a complaint once, and my wife and I talked to the owner and his wife for over 20 minutes. He apologized about my bad experience and offered us several things as a token to make it better: t-shirts, hat, pens, koozies, and more. That was a few years ago, and I still have the shirts and hat. All the bartenders will give you great service, but if you want outstanding service, see Sandy. Shes the pretty blond bartender always in the middle of the long bar who is always happy to see me and my wife.If you want to go out, you will most likely have a good time no matter the age of the crowd, the price of the beer, or the friends who go with you. If you want to do all that and actually dance, go to Buck Wild.

Me and my father went in for a beer whilst staying accross the street on holiday. Dress code but doorman gave us a pass as we definitely werent local and we didnt know. Reasonable drinks and we just played pool. Would recommend, just wear jeans and shoes and a decent top and your good to go. Yehaw

Tonight was my first night they have great drink specials and regular prices. The staff was fantastic and attentive. Its a huge club with a great variety of dance music.

Awesome 20,000 suare foot club with a 120 ft bar! Wow! They are having a Garth Brooks Tribute band Thursdsy Dec 16, 2021. You have to check them out! They are the real deal.

I talked with the owner about the liquor violation of charging for water only to be ignored as if I was just another drunk kid in his bar. I warned him that if he didnt want to listen I would report the violation. One may say; whats the big deal? Its a law that was put in place to save lives. People collaps and die all the time from dehydration. This is a dance hall with lots of physical exercise typ movements. It is a serious matter no matter how small it may seem. Theres ways to have water around without charging for it.

Such a great place to go and dance! Huge dance floor and great music. Lost my car keys on a Friday night and they called me the next day to let me know they found them. Honest people!

This place sucks their over grown steroid eating bouncers just stay hawk eyed to a group of people that they pick out at random. Also they have trouble picking up their jaws from slobbering over your girlfriend. They had guys all night trying to pick up drinks that were full that our group just bought. And really couldnt enjoy ourself because we had to watch our drinks the whole time we were there. Just a real punk azz club. I would have it closed

Fine enough music, but we tried to request songs. We asked for two really popular line dances, and were given the okay that at least one of them would have been played. Here we are, 3.5 hours later. If they didnt take requests, they could have just said so. Smoking allowed indoors, which is normal for Texas clubs, I guess? Money is more important than science/health in this business, I gather. Girls were washing off their Xs in the bathroom sink and passing out 21+ wristbands they somehow got ahold of. The mechanical bull operator was nice, as was the shot girl. Free popcorn.

Dont come here without cash....why you ask...it is the 21st Century??? Okay, well you can you use your card to buy booze but if you want to get in...pay cash. You can however use their ATM and pay their fees and your bank fees for cash to get in. I mean...even Big Texas took cards to get in.

I love coming out to buckwild! They have awesome drink specials, a huge dance floor & an awesome autmosphere. The staff is always friendly & Ill for sure be going back!

This place is bigger than it looks on the outside. They have free dancing lessons on fridays at 7 Pat does a great Job. The dance lessons are cool too and you do not need a partner to joun in. She teaches Polka, waltz, two step, western swing. Thats all I remember lol great place to kicker dance.

I came out to Buck Wild tonight and it was an amazing night. It was super busy beautiful girls and great drinks this will absolutely be my new regular place to go every weekend.

The drinks were WEAK. The bartender overcharged my friend and when she made a complaint the bartender stated “If you don’t have money, don’t come to a bar”. Despite this the dance floor was poppin. Don’t go to the female blue haired bartender.

Had a great time. Drinks were good, music was great. Great atmosphere, I’ll definitely be back.

This is a great place. I came to Texas to visit family and friends and we had a great time at the local country bar and club. The dance floor is huge and it is true about everything in Texas.

Dont come in early. The dance class is here and they will only play really, really old music...slow and depressing. We keep asking them to play better music but they wont until about 10 or 11.

Place is fun and convenient but the smoking room doesnt really help. Just make people go outside to smoke or not smoke at all.

Went to free 7pm Friday dance lessons. Nice turnout through the evening and some great dancers with $ 2 beer.

The public needs to know that this bar is disgusting in every way- on top of falling apart and smelling of cigarettes it is full of underage minors who ARE BEING SERVED alcohol- I was informed by the owner there are no cameras if anything were to happen-he also stated anything his employees do he is not responsible for he said they have their own brains and it is in Gods hands- It seems the owner is as dirty as his bar - this place needs shut down
