Went for a couples massage with my boyfriend, it was super relaxing . & The ladies that work there are super nice! We had to push our appt back twice and they were very nice & understanding. Everything clean, definitely going back.

Came here with my sister, first time getting massages. Jessie and Lucy were our massage therapists. Great experience they were very nice and did a wonderful job. Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! We will be coming back again soon!

Love this Spa! My mother and I went for her birthday, it was our first time getting massages and facials and it was great. The lovely lady who checked us out informed us of a Mother’s Day giveaway that we easily entered from their instagram and I WON!! I was sooo excited to be able to go back to receive another massage and facial because it was just so good the first time! Lisa did my massage and I was very pleased with how she took her time and took notice to not put too much pressure. Cici gave me a facial, she also took her time and my skin looks and feels so flawless. I highly recommend this spa, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you Riverstone Massage!

One of my gifts was a couples massage with hot stones and Riverstone does not disappoint. It’s kind of in the tuck so you would never know it was there if you aren’t from the area. If there’s no parking in the lot, park on the other side of the street.From the moment we entered, we were pampered in this serene environment. The lady at the front was knowledgeable, asked us about specific areas we desired to have more attention to, explained pressure levels, and instructed us to say “soft” if the pressure was too much and “more” if we needed additional adjustments during massage. The initial prelude was beneficial and informational that I haven’t received before at other places.The couples massage was one of the best we have had, very professional, and attentive!!! You will definitely leave feeling refreshed and relaxed 😌 Can’t wait to come back!

Riverstone Massage is truly amazing! My boyfriend and I dont mind driving 20-25 minutes to get there because its totally worth it. Weve been going there since last year and have tried massages all over Philly, but none of them compare to Riverstone, especially considering the price.Everyone there is fantastic. The therapists are highly skilled and super friendly. I love how they adjust the pressure just right – soft and gentle, not too intense, but still effective. Communication is key too. You gotta give them feedback so they can adjust the experience to your liking. And if youre feeling sore afterwards, just rest and drink some water for a couple days (as if you have been to the gym)! Also for the add-ons, we would recommend the intensive joint oil and the hot stone treatment!Sure, its not a fancy spa with all the amenities, but who cares if they step out to grab stones and towels? Their prices are more than reasonable, and they really go the extra mile for what you pay. After seeing some reviews, its a shame how some people nitpick about little things. Cant they just appreciate a good thing when they see it? Trust me, Riverstone Massage is the real deal.

I found this place from Groupon and I am glad we checked it out. We came out very relaxed and refreshed and will return again one day. The ladies who worked on us were very good too. Relaxing ambience and clean area. Two people recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint. They have Groupon deals. The Groupon pricing is similar to the original price but coconut oil and hot stones were included. Original price only included one free add on for couples massage. Very professional and attentive, definitely will come back in the future!

She works very hard, is attentive to detail, and while she gets every area you complain of- she also makes sure the massage is well rounded and balanced, getting everything else with incredible pressure and accuracy. I love this place. the staff is always friendly and pleasant, the place is clean and smells good. they have a selection of additional services that you can add to your massage (various massage oils, foot scrub, peppermint scalp, etc.). The couples massage is also wonderful. I had my 2.5 session with Cici today and oh my god she was amazing. I chose 1.5 hours full body+scrubs and 1 hour facial massage. She is a great professional. I feel like cotton candy and cant wait to go there again.

I took my mom’s advice to try out Riverstone, and I am so glad I did! Everyone was beyond friendly and the massage was thorough, yet relaxing. I personally had Sofia, who is a total magic worker. Today was my first time at the spa. The couples room was aesthetically pleasing. I had the pleasure of having Jesse as my masseuse and she was amazing ! She was polite and she had hands of magic! Definitely 10/10.

Diamond in the rough! Went in for a couples massage & we were very pleasantly surprised! Place was extremely clean & nice! Staff was very thoughtful & knowledgeable. Massage was perfect! My only suggestion would be to have a hot stone/hot towel set up in the room. It was kind of uncomfortable for the therapist to leave the room to get the hot stones & hot towel. Other than that, wonderful experience & still 5stars!

The only reason they will get a two star rating and not one is because the entire staff was warm, welcoming and kindly escorted my girlfriend and I to our room. The massage itself was extremely to rough and very uncomfortable. My body was tensed the entire time due to the pressure the masseuse was applying to my body. This was suppose to be a birthday gift for me and I am not happy at all. My body hurts so bad right now, I do not recommend this place at all.

I used to come here a lot and liked it, but yesterday I had the worst experience. they forced me to pay cash and said theres a fee with the card, they had me take money from the atm which charged me anyway. I was also forced to pay $20 tips, how is that even possible?? The massage was horrible. The massage was just a back massage, not even full body, didnt even do my front side. I told my family lets go to riverstone and I regret it so much. We all had a horrible experience

So I actually used to like this place a lot, but yesterday I decided to go after awhile of not coming here with my family members. When we came we didnt see the normal people we see there was new people we hadnt met. I was in my own room, and a lady came into do my massage and I had told her I would like very light massage and just want to relax and mentioned my lower back sometimes gets stiff. She started the massage and just got harder and harder, i was dying in pain, she barely even used her hands just her elbow the whole time and scraped it against my shoulder blades I was about to start screaming. She did the same move for so long it just went numb after a while. she said she would focus on my lower back since it hurt but she did not she barely even touched it. she also did not do my front side at all, normally they tell you to flip but she never asked me to or anything. When I went outside my family also said they didnt get their front done. And they had already paid by the time i got out, they told me the workers demanded $20 tips for each person. i was in shock because i had never experienced this before. it was honestly the worst massage ive ever had and im still in so much pain from the pressure, my shoulder blades are sore.

I just had a 2 hour massage with a new therapist named Jessie and I feel absolutely AMAZING!!! She hit every spot and made sire I was comfortable throughout. She was the best, I will be back to see her soon!

A LOVELY experience for Valentines Day! My boyfriend & I came here for the Couples Massage, & the experience was definitely worthwhile! We had an amazing time! We got sweet treats beforehand for the Valentines Day special, we felt welcome as soon as we entered the facility! The massage was perfect! The only complaint I would have is that the massage therapists were in & out of the room a lot during the massage. I understand with certain things, it’s necessary, it just felt like quite a few times. When they’d open the door, the cold air would get in & the outside noises would disturb the ambience of the massage. Other than that, this place is definitely the place to go! My husband and I have a spot we usually go to but they didn’t have an appointments available for the day. I decided to try Riverstone and it was a disappointment (unfortunately) 1st of all I booked with a girl named Tina but I got Wendy instead. Then she came into the room 15mins later. I was undressed waiting for her. Also she stepped out of the room quite a few times. The walls are thin so you do hear every time someone is walking by. Someone was having a 10 minute conversation with one of the workers super loud (during my massage) so I was not able to enjoy my massage and relax. Lastly it’s been 3 days and my body is still sore. Will not be going back.

Not bad for the price. I enjoyed the stretch and hot stones they included with the massage. I gave four stars because my masseuse couldn’t understand that I was requesting more pressure in certain areas during the massage. Overall, she did deliver what I requested from the receptionist which was medium pressure then deep. This is a good spot for when you want a random affordable massage.

I have been here twice now, and both times the entire experience has been excellent. The location, massage rooms, and bathroom are clean and well kept. The front desk staff is super friendly and conveys your requests or add ons to the massage therapists before you get started. Pricing is clear and reasonable!As for the massage itself, both times I received an excellent 90 minute full body massage, that focused more on requested areas. Excellent pressure and variety, and the therapist checked in with me sporadically to make sure everything felt good.The first time i went i added on the facial, which was a pleasant mix of light pressure and jade roller. I purchased a couple massage through Groupon as a gift. I called Riverstone to schedule the massage and found out that Groupon purchased massages cant be used on the weekends. So I could cancel the Groupon massage and pay a higher price at the salon. What about people that work during the week and the only time that their schedule allows is the weekends. Everything now is money and more money. Once I use this Groupon coupon I will not be patronizing this establishment. Make this make sense to me is this Groupon for people that dont work🤔 I will be leaving a review on Groupons website as well.

This place is wonderful! The staff a friendly and the set up in clean and calming. The masseuses have been professional, including checking in twice about the pressure - both before the massage and just after starting - which they followed. I had terrible back and hip pain before my last massage and after it, it had totally released. A note for those who don’t get massages at places that offer a range of styles: this place offers everything from deep tissue massage (think Thai and Chinese style) through to light relaxation ( think hand and stone), so if you find the pressure uncomfortable after the initial check in it is up to you to tell them.

Just had my first 60 min massage with Cici, and it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Susan at the front desk was great with scheduling and answering my questions. The entire place looked very clean, including the actual massage room. This place was great went in for a couples massage. Price was decent the room was very zen and relaxing. I would have to say we definitely had a deep tissue massage, she was rough but in all the right places they get every nook and cranny cant complain, definitely will be back. My shoulders are a little sore, but during the whole massage I could slowly feel the lady cranking the knots out of my shoulders so it was worth it 10/10!

I made an appointment using a gift card my wife got me for our anniversary. When I got there they said the gift card was expired and was only good for 4 months. When I looked closely at the email it was true. My wife and I have gone to several places in the area using gift cards that we have bought each other for special occasions and this is the first one that had such a short expiration date. Needless to say I couldn’t bring myself to pay another 60 bucks to get the massage.**response to ownerWe did not go through groupon it was purchased throughout your website. It is important to note I did not talk to anybody about any resolution. Once the receptionist told me it was expired she apologized but that was that.I admitted we didn’t read the email carefully . However it took a good amount of time for even the employee working there to realize why the gift certificate wasnt going through on here end. She even had to call a manager on the phone. So if your employee was having trouble don’t you think a customer would as well? The gift card came in an email then when printed came out to three pages. To find the expiration date you need to look into the green box in the tiny font. Then under the that box in bigger font it says “You can print this email and redeem your gift certificate at any time.” It was disappointing that nothing could be worked out while I was there. At the end of the day we donated 60 bucks to your business and you didn’t have to provide the service.**Response to Owners 2nd responseIn your previous response, you lied and said I was told to contact groupon and work something out with them. In no way did that conversation happen. I would be including the screen shot.Lastly, in that same response you said we have done our best to offer an alternative solution for you. The alternative solution was to pay full price. Thats a ultimatum not an alternative lol Honestly everyone in their right mind can look at the picture and see how the mistake was made. I said should have looked closer at it. I literally have shown multiple people and they all agree it very missable.Heres the thing, this was my first experience with your company. Had you been able actually able to work with me, even a percentage off would have been fine and you could have kept a customer. Instead, you wanted to go back and forth on here with lies about a conversation that never happened. If those lies are a mistake, maybe you can see how those can happen. Unfortunately, my mistake cost me $60 your mistake just cost you a bit of integrity.

I received an AMAZING massage here! This was my first time ever getting a full body massage so I was a bit unfamiliar. Thankfully, the entire staff was warm and friendly and walked me through booking an appointment and what to expect for the massage. I bought a great 90-minute massage deal on Groupon (self-care treat for myself!), which was plenty of time to really enjoy the massage. It also included a hot stone treatment and foot reflexology, which I needed! Lucy was my massage therapist/masseuse, and she was great throughout the whole process. She asked what pressure I wanted (I said medium) and would regularly check in with me to make sure I was not in pain or anything. I left feeling refreshed and bruise-free! Its been a week since I had my massage, and my body has been so relaxed and pain-free, to the point where Ive been sitting and standing up straighter than expected! Overall, I would definitely come back!

My mother in law and I were gifted massages at Riverstone by my husband and I couldn’t be happier. It was very easy to make the appointment. Once we got there, the woman at the front desk was so sweet, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We didn’t feel any type of way for having a Groupon voucher. We had Lucy and Lily for our 90min hot stone with coconut oil and foot reflexology massage and it was phenomenal. I never had a massage like Lucy’s. She stretched even part of my body and applied great pressure. The atmosphere and room were very nice. The only thing I’d say was awkward was when she walked out to get the hot stones and towels because I wasn’t sure what was happening and I could hear others in the hall way. Overall exceptional. Will be returning.

I’ve recently visited RiverStone Massage as I was recommended by a family member and it was such a great experience! I booked a couples massage and the staff were very welcoming and friendly soon as we walked through the door! It was our first time at RiverStone and the staff made sure we were knowledgeable about the benefits of massages, proper aftercare, and asked about our preferences to best suit the massage to our needs. Cici gave me the most amazing massage! The pressure was just right, she took her time, focused on specific areas that I had expressed needed attention, and got rid of knots that I didn’t even know I had, and the add on to our service was a great touch! I had the facial massage(it was my first massage ever) it was extremely relaxing and i had a great conversation with the woman at the front desk. The man who did my facial massage was very nice and kept checking of the pressure was good for me. Great environment, great service and great staff. 10/10

We did a couples massage. Lucy and Lily really ran a number on our bodies. It was a really good kind of pain. It was very relaxing. They hit all the spots that we had asked them to hit that were bothering us and we left feeling relaxed and much less sore. We will definitely be going back again. The facility is clean and the rooms are very comfortable with soothing music and lights.

Today I went for a one hour couples massage with my girlfriend. I would suggest leaving a few minutes early to find a parking spot, we got lucky and managed to get a spot right in front of the parlor. My first impression of the place was great, we were immediately greeted and they took us in even though we were 15 minutes early for our session. The massage was fantastic. The room was very clean and dim with calming music. The two men (forgive me, I forgot their names) massaging us had years of experience and were able to find knots that we didnt even know we had in our backs. They kept talking to a minimum and went to work with a soothing and therapeutic environment. We used Lavender Aromatherapy and it added to the relaxation. Before we knew it, the hour was up and they let us know we were done. Another thing to keep in mind, using credit or debit has a 5% surcharge. They do have a fee free ATM there, so that wont be a huge issue. Just in case the ATM is not working for any reason, I would bring my own cash. Overall, the staff was great, they have tipping recommendations there based upon how you felt with your massage, and did not try to push for a tip even though they more than deserved a great one for their services.Thank you Riverstone Massage for your services! The place itself was very nice and the atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. Rooms looked to be very clean and sanitary as well. I had a couples massage with my husband and while I thought my massage was fine (although I wished the therapist could have spent more time on my neck), my husband did not share the same thought. He mentioned that his therapist (male) kept leaving the room then come back and the pressure was better in some spots and not others. I also used a groupon to try this place out, so look for a groupon if youre interested in trying. Theres parking right outside the place and plenty of residential parking. They have late appointments, which is a plus. Overall, it was fine for a first-time trial at this salon. I did like the ambiance.

This was a birthday present from my parents. I got the 90 min full body massage with scalp massage and reflexology. It took me forever to find a place I felt like would be right for me (Im a massage therapist, so Im a bit fussy looking for a place to get a massage). I read the reviews so I knew what to expect ahead of time, for example when the therapist leaves the room its to get hot stones or hot towels. So I didnt worry or feel awkward. But lets talk about Lucy, my massage therapist. She is BRUTAL! I mean that in the best way. She annihilated my tightness and any knots she came across. I did flinch a bit but it was more because of how tight I was. Even she commented on how tight my shoulders were. She was super thoughtful, always asking how I was doing throughout my session. (The whole staff there is super friendly!) Not everyone can handle a harder massage and thats ok. Let your MT know so they can adjust their pressure to your needs. Because my body is so busted from working as a MT, myself, for 9 years, I needed the pulverizing. It was an experience~ Needless to say, I was not disappointed! Thank you, Lucy and Riverstone Massage staff!!Tip: if you still feel a bit sore after your session, drink lots and lots of water!!!! Seriously! And take a nice hot Epsom salt bath. Itll relax your muscles. The soreness wont last and youll feel AMAZING afterwards ♥️

I received the 60 min full body massage with the hot stones and it was amazing! i felt so good and relaxed afterwards. my body was so relaxed and wasn’t tensed as when i walked in. They also give you a loyalty card and you get a free massage after filling the card! i’m starting to go every weekend! it’s definitely worth it!

From the second we walked in we were greeted by name and they immediately wished her a happy birthday. The staff was so pleasant and the even decorated the room for us. You get a full body message (60 or 90 min) with hot stones and the coconut oil they use is AMAZING. We went last night and our skin today is soo soft and moisturized. Went for a couples massage. My wife and I were very satisfied. The front desk was very polite. The place was clean and calming. The prices were fair and our massage therapists were proficient at their craft.

Staff was friendly, they squeezed me in an hour before closing with no notice, much appreciated. It was clean, quiet comfortable. At 64 270lbs and a 50 yr old carpenter, and weight lifter, my body has a lot of wear and tear on it. Muscles get very tight. Got a deep tissue massage from Lucy and she did a great job, def earned her money working on me. I could hear her sighing and breathing heavy from time to time, lol. She probably needed a massage after working on me, lol. Over all a very positive experience. Highly recommend Lucy and this establishment. FYI, no happy ending or I would have given them 6 stars 🤣💯.

Dont let the exterior of the building fool you. The interior was updated and clean. The staff was polite. The masseuse was great. The massage tables are actually wider than standard which was nice as well. Lastly the price was definitely one of the cheapest Ive seen.

Found this place originally on Groupon, but they didn’t have a couples deal, only individual. I called the location and they were very friendly when scheduling. Very good experience for a couples massage. The outside neighborhood is a little rundown but the building itself inside is newly renovated. Each room is well kept and spacious. The decor is nice and coordinated and does not look tacky. They do a good job to keep the place serene and not disruptive with TV noises and people chatting away (before/during/after the massage). The prices are unbeatable. We went for a 90 minute massage and they customized each of our massages to our needs and target areas. They gave us complimentary add ons. For 90 min couples massage, it costs as much as hand and stone for 60 min couples massage without the add ons and extra fees. Honestly a hidden gem for this area and I think they would do well in a different area code if they ever relocated. Overall, very satisfied with our experience here and will likely return.

To be honest I have found you typically get what you pay for (acceptable but not great experiences). This was not the case at all with Riverstone. Cici did an absolutely amazing job and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice to speak with too.While the strip mall they are in doesnt have the best curb appeal, dont judge this book by its cover. This establishment is very clean and has the perfect zen feel. You can tell Cici has spent time learning how to give an excellent customized massage and knowing how to find the tight spots that you didnt even realize you had. Please, do yourself a favor and treat your body to a massage with Cici. You can thank me later.

My daughter & I scheduled a couples massage (Mothers Day gift).The price was great & we were very pleased with the ambiance & overall appearance of the place. We were greeted warmly, escorted to our room & given an overview of what to expect during our massage. Our massuers (dont remember either name) were friendly, gave us a wonderful facial & worked the whole 90 minutes. So why did I give a rating of TWO (2)? Once the massage was done, my shoulder almost down to my waist was sore! That was not the case before my massage! A couple hours later it just got worst- it downright ACHED! So I called my daughter to see if she was experiencing any discomfort also. She said YES, I had to take a Motrin, my whole back is so PAINFUL! Unfortunately they were extremely rough & we had to ask them several times to lighten up...they would for a moment then return with the same pressure again!I also asked my daughter if she had requested the deep tissue massage & she said NO! I would hate to experience one of those if this is how the regular one feels! And a day later as I write this review, Im still SORE!😫😞..maybe it should be a ONE(1)😏UPDATED...The Spa owner ( Lin, Yi) contacted my daughter as soon as I finished my review (and I mean IMMEDIATELY!) She expressed her regret for our not so great experience and offered a resolution to our satisfaction. I am upgrading my rating to 4⭐ for prompt communication & customer service and look forward to giving 5⭐ once we return for our massage.😊

I went for a couples massage with my friend. I called the day before to schedule a Groupon we found. Riverstone was able to match the price online AND throw in an add-on to our massage. This establishment is very clean and courteous of their clients. They do use oils and ask if you have a male/female preference. We both got a 60-min whole body massage and 30-min gua sha scalp massage. It was SO good that I fell asleep! Their service is so good that we last-min scheduled a 30-min facial massage! The staff is very kind and accommodating. It is preferred that clients pay in cash (ATM available in the establishment). They also provide punch cards for loyal customers! 10/10 would recommend and hope to schedule their services monthly!! Thank you, Riverstone!

So i called on my bday to get information on the requirements when purchasing a massage in Groupon and when i called and explained about it being my bday the owner of the establishment offered me a cheaper price than the price on booking. I was so happy that she even decided to do that for me. When i arrived i brought my dad with me and he was able to get a massage as well and i was gifted an extra add on for free. My massage felt so amazing. He knew wheee all the pains i had in my body and where they stemmed from. I mean my body felt extremely amazing that i will commit to coming back.
