Great place....really good food

Hookah guy never was at time to ask for the hookah change. We have to look for him several times.Waitress the same. Staff was very unorganized . The waitresses were more considerate with the tables that offers them shots or hookah. Food took an hour to arrive. The lights were turned off after we complain. Very bad experience. I do not recommend . Music was only good after dj arrived, before that they played the same songs. First time and last.

The music is too loud, it is understood that it is a great place for music and entertainment, but at an uncontrolled level, it is very unpleasant and they have super unpleasant smoke machines that I think they should handle better because the smoke is damaged. The entertainment is very expensive and the service is super bad. waiting a long time for some vevidas they did not come to our table to see if we needed something we did not like the music without control and the smoke in exaggeration

Went there last night the service and the people were amazing. It is cash only but they do have a ATM. The music was fire the food and drinks were good. The servers were attentive and fun. I’ll definitely be back!

I took my wife here it was refer to her from a friend, the place looks real nice inside, the food is very good and at good prices, their drinks werent as good as the food, but just know that after a certain time it does become a night club, i dont know the exact time can 7pm or 8pm,thats when the music starts pumpjng even thou the music selection is great it does become a night club. Also is kind of confusing that the staff doesnt have a uniform theme,wether is using the same color cloth or at least a shirt showing they work there,everyone looks like they work there or are customers,but overall its a great place to get out of the norm.

Cool spot to go to. Live busy crowd and drinks were priced well. Bartenders was very responsive to what we wanted to drink. Have not tried the food, but i will get some food next time i go. Had fun

Great food, great drinks, friendly waitress. BRING CASH, they also have an ATM. They didnt have red snapper, but the other fried fish was good. Side sauce has a hint of lemon and spice to it, complimented the rice pretty well.

They have the best octopus salad. Their food is great. They serve drinks here, which to me seemed extremely pricey. But the ambiance was wonderful.The night bar is awesome though, and the music is great.

I have been going to Bamboo ever since it opened in 2004. This is a family owned business and you can tell they take great care in making sure they provide great food, quality drinks and an awesome atmosphere. Ranging from Brazilian, Portuguese, Puerto Rican, Dominican and Colombian, you will never be bored or disappointed during your stay. Over the years, the clientele has changed, but the owner continues to deliver excellent service. He never forgets a face and always greets you when he sees you. There is a turnover rate in bartenders and serving staff, but that is normal in this industry. However, you can be sure you will always be treated as a highly valued customer when you go there. I am happy to see they are still open during the pandemic.

DJ DIO IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN HIRE GET HIM OUT OF THE BOOTH BECAUSE HES BAD AS A DJ, HE DOESNT PLAY GOOD MUSIC, THE WORST THING ABOUT THE DISCO IS THAT DJ

Not really my kind of place, was extreeeemely loud. Thats really my only complaint lol I visited with my niece while we were driving around trying to find things to do; the drinks were all $10 which added up quickly but they were worth it (they each had a nice little kick to them) I think its for a slightly younger crowd.

Great place to just kick back and enjoy the whole latin vibe. Everyone was very hospitable, the food was amazing and the hookahs were a major plus. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a good time.

Im right at the door for my own party and they would not let me in and then let other privilege people in. Not good biz so I missed my own party

It was excellent. I had a wonderful time. I also tried hooka for the first time. Its a Hispanic bar but I had such a good time and they were so welcoming. It didnt even matter.

Very poor service went on a Monday late afternoon for a dinner , had to wait by table for bar girl or table girl , which was around 6-7 of them restaurant wasn’t full once around 3 other customers, then after 10mins or so came and took , order steak medium well and got a over cook tuff steak the rice was ok beans tasted fully couldn’t even enjoy nor finish my meal , maybe eaten like a quarter of if before I couldn’t and I told girl I was done she as what happen told her and no one came to fix the issue $30 down the drain and no customer service or to make the order rightI try to support the minority bussines but this is unacceptable and I will not be coming back

Bartenders are fake, they dont actually know how to make mixed drinks just pour beers and shots. One shot of tequila will cost you 18 dollars. DJ is trash too. Dont waste your money so overpriced

Food was good and the music awesome but how a brugal anejo superior that u get in the liquor store for only $22.00 here is $120.00 ( for a 750ML rum) i dont mind pay for a johnny walker but a brugal are u freaking serious thats over prices.

Drinks and food overpriced for such a low budget bar and area. Minutes away from murder town Frankford lol if you want to pay to drink and eat pick a better location and safer spot

Nice spot in Northeast Philly. We got the VIP table next to the DJ booth. Bottle of Hennessy and a bottle of Black Label. Picadillos were on point. Music on point. We enjoyed the service and the atmosphere overall. I definitely recommend Bamboo to anyone who wants to have a chill time with good friends.

Had no tables had me waiting for 2 hours and when the table I wanted got empty one specific bartender said we couldnt have the table because her friends where coming and she had the table for her friends and she was really unprofessional and being rude at the same time what kind of service is that , not all the bartender just one specific one she needs to get fired cause she gives attitude to everyone

Owner is very Ignorant especially when u come to spend money never got the drinks I ordered left just as sober as when I walked in Now thats sad

I love how they let my 16 and 17 year old friends get drunk after 1!! they dont even card us !!! after last call we can drink untill 3 am and still be able to walk home love this place

As a neighbor, Its the worst bar in the neighborhood. Screeching tires at all hours of the night, music is TOO loud, No respect for neighbors, Always a fight, Cops need to shut this pit down.

Bamboo needs to step up their training for security staff. Today, April 13, I witnessed a fight and was appalled by the physical abuse from the security guards. Its concerning that the owners seem unresponsive to security complaints. I advise caution to anyone visiting; fights seem to be a common occurrence. These people bring the worst Dominican customs to the USA. The waitresses make up the prices based on how much they think you can pay, they dont give you a bill.The waitresses charge whatever the hell they think. Abusive behavior toward customers.

Good service, it is a place where you have a pleasant time. The only thing I didnt like was the managers treatment because she was kind of rude to my friend when she was trying to get a table for two, other than that everything was good.

The place is small and the sound is loud. A lot of reggaeton and little tropical music (salsa, bachata and merengue). The music is very average to the point of poor.
