I was a little apprehensive going here due to other reviews I’ve read, however my experience was more than exceptional and I’m really happy with my time spent at this spa. The person who did the initial intake and booking over the phone was happy and informative. When I arrived I was astounded by the sheer beauty and cleanliness of the entire spa floor. I got a deep tissue/aroma therapy massage that left me feeling oh so relaxed. And after I enjoyed a glass of champagne in the relaxation room, unwound in the sauna, took a shower, and got ready for dinner at their vanities. The whole experience was superb top to bottom and I can’t wait to come back! P.S. - the robe provided was the most comfortable thing I’ve ever put on my body, please sell me one :)
I was gifted a birthday celebration experience and it was amazing. This spa is beautiful. Amy was my therapist and she did such a great job. I was very relaxed, she used the perfect amount of pressure and heat for me liking. The sauna was a great touch for after my massage. The steam room was a bit much for me but it was nice. The dressing room was beautiful. The views overlooking the city was the best part for me. I was able to sit and indulge in the view and just relax while sipping on a glass of champagne and enjoying the chocolates. This was such a great experience.
Overall, it was an exceptional experience. I enjoyed my time at the spa, I left feeling relaxed and pampered. I want to give a thank you to Juliette for being exceptional on her customer service and provide great care I didn’t feel rushed . I also want to give a big shout out to John for my amazing massage I will definitely be visiting in the future and can’t wait to be back.
I treated myself to the birthday celebration package, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely courteous and polite and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was relaxing, luxurious, and personalized. Amy was my massage therapist; she was delightful, extremely sweet, and skilled! The spa is so beautiful. I could go on for days about the view! So many small conveniences are offered to spa guests, like hairbrushes, blow dryers, flat irons, personal care items, lotions, soaps, etc. They really will try to provide anything it is that you need during your visit. The changing areas are clean and consistently walked through by staff to refill missing items, check in on guests, answer questions, etc. Allow yourself to enjoy all of whats offered, and arrive 30-45 minutes before your appointment! There are showers, a sauna and steam room, snacks, lounge chairs, and pool access for hotel guests. This experience was worth every penny and may have ruined all other spas for me lol. Im already planning my next visit!
I had a wonderful experience here a few weeks back on a Saturday night. The service, views and overall ambience was incredibly relaxing. It was my first spa visit in America and I was a bit nervous. My massage therapist, Katie Hauck, ensured everything was exactly the way I had mentioned. She was friendly and courteous, and was able to judge exactly what I needed to make my experience even better. I could sense she has been doing this for a long time. Katie, along with the rest of the crew, made me feel like staying there forever!
Traveling on business, stayed at the hotel and needed a haircut. It was easy to get an appointment and Angela did a fantastic job with the cut and style. The spa is very nice, as you would expect of the Four Seasons. Getting a great cut from a fantastic stylist was an excellent experience.
They really pay close attention to detail with everything here. They have fresh flowers everywhere! They have orchids everywhere and cookies at the reception desk. I love the curved walls in the hallway and the doorbell for each room. Inside the room there is also a curved walls separating the bathroom from the dressing and closet area from the bedroom area. All well planned out. The shower pressure are super strong and really nice. Customer service is top notch here. The beds are comfortable. They provide you with a tablet to order anything you would want from body pillow, feather pillow, foam pillow and orthopedic pillows. You can request housekeeping to in room dinning, etc. Wow! There is turn down service and almost always a housekeeping person outside in the hallways. The infinity pool is heated with comfortable water temp and clean. Swimming pool s bathroom and changing areas are top notch clean! Restaurant, JG Sky High is superb. Ginger margarita is the best at JG Sky High. The favor is incredible rimmed with ginger salt. The only suggestion is that they use a higher quality toilet paper for their guest rooms and public bathrooms. Considering how plush things are here, one should expect toilet papers to be of better quality. This is our first stay at a Four Seasons and probably the beginning many more!
I wanted to leave a review for anyone else who may be looking at some of the other reviews and getting nervous (like I was prior to my spa appt).I was gifted a spa certificate for my birthday this year & made an appointment for a Sunday afternoon Birthday Celebration Massage. As you would expect from a high-end hotel - the decor and facilities are amazing and luxurious from the moment you walk into the hotel to the moment you arrive upstairs to the spa. The two people at the front desk (a gentleman and a woman I believe her name was Jenny?) were warm, friendly and welcoming. As were each of the spa attendants I encountered during my visit. My massage therapist, Iyonna was truly amazing! I was nervous because I hadnt seen any reviews for her, but shes phenomenal and provided such a relaxing experience with the perfect amount of pressure (and she did ask if I wanted her to adjust it). Before and after my massage, I took in views in the relaxation lounge. Luckily for me, it wasnt that busy on a Sunday afternoon, so I was able to secure a lounger or chair. But I do see how it could get crowded in there depending on how busy it is when you go. It would be a shame to not be able to experience it, so I suggest going to the spa during off-peak times.Anyway, this review is getting really long, so Ill sum it up by saying it was a wonderful experience. Cant wait to go back!
My esthetician Jenny was phenomenal. I had the instant glow facial and it was the best facial I ever had. Everything was perfect from the temperature of the room, the quality of the products, and the additional amenities like the relaxation room and the pool. I will definitely be returning!!
Underwhelming experience. I realize massages might not be a full 60 minute experience but the staff made an error assigning individual massage rooms instead of the couples room which took an additional 10 minutes to prepare. Additionally, towels and dirty plates were left in the lounge area and staff told us there wipes we could use to clean up after others...... Given the lack of attention to guests, I would caution others considering a massage at the four seasons.
Had a wonderful time at the Spa getting a facial. I have had massages with Leslie- who is INCREDIBLE- but did my first facial with Jenny. She was sweet, and thorough, and made my skin look amazing. Everyone was lovely and I would definitely recommend to anyone and will absolutely be returning.
My three adult daughters and I decided on a spa day at the Four Seasons in Philly since it was a good meeting spot. We were showed the amenities to use before our massages. We were sitting in pool talking when we were asked to leave because it was only for guests only. We were then shown to the tranquility room to wait for our services. all the lounges chairs were reserved so we had to sit on these little round stools and whisper to each other. When our massages were over, there were again no more lounges for us all so we just got dressed and left. After getting bill for over $1300, I just felt that they could have done better. Too many other spas to try, no reason to settle for average.
Sakina (or Sakira my apologies) who took me back was excellent! Very kind and made feel comfortable (some of the reviews made me nervous to visit). She is a gem. Jenna who did my massage was great as well. Loved her service and ability to communicate effectively. Had a really good experience overall! I definitely want to come back soon. The views & service from the moment you walk up is top notch. The girl who booked my appointment could have been a little nicer over the phone but otherwise it was a great experience.
Go for the atmosphere and view, not the massage services. They did a great job on the atmosphere, attitudes of staff and the concept. It’s very clean and the views are amazing.Although the actual massages services need some work. Out of your 60 minute massage only 45 minutes of hands on massaging will be done because they will waste time talking/prepping/washing hands. If you ask for any extras (masks, feet or scalp work) this time will be taken away from your 60 minute massage time. No additional time is added for these services.Overall the massage ended up being a quick once over of the body. I don’t even think he touched my arms and my legs hardly got anything. I was shocked when my massage ended.4 seasons spa needs to rethink their service angle because their main feature, the massage, is very poor. Most people wouldn’t pay $100 for it.
I celebrated my birthday with a couples’ spa day at the Four Seasons with a massage and facial for me and my husband, so it was a 5 hour experience for us. As expected, the service and atmosphere was phenomenal. Beautiful views of the city skyline if you go on a day with clear skies. We went on a rainy day so it was pretty much a window of white when we first arrived but luckily it cleared up later on so we were able to see the city for miles and miles with a view from the 57th floor. The lounge and changing rooms were clean and well stocked with anything you might need.Service was impeccable - there were attendants at your beck and call almost everywhere. The staff for our facial and massage were extremely nice and did an amazing job and of course, there were wonderful views of the city in every treatment room. I really appreciated that they actually read the questionnaire we filled out prior to the visit so they were aware of my allergies and preferences. There were just a few things that I wished were different to make this a true 5 star experience.1) There needs to be additional seating areas. During Saturday mid-afternoon, which appeared to be a busier time, while I was getting ready to shower, there were two women the changing room who I overheard stating they felt awkward and didn’t know where to go since there were no seats in the lounge available so they just stayed in the changing room. I can see that being possible since, while I was waiting between treatments in the lounge, it did get full a few times but people come and go within 10 mins or so and as they leave for their treatments, seats do open up then.2) Lockers need to be bigger or hooks need to be placed outside sauna/steam rooms. I went in the winter so I had a coat in the locker, which pretty much took up most of the space. There was no where to put my robe when I went in the sauna so I left it on the bench in the changing area but when I returned, my robe was no longer there. I had a few items in my robe pocket so I assumed the staff would know it was still in use. Luckily none of the items were irreplaceable so I didn’t even bother trying to retrieve it. I did have to wait for a staff member to show up in the changing room to get another robe. This happened to someone else also as I was getting dressed to leave as she was asking the staff where her robe was (I witnessed a lot since I was at the spa for such a long time). She also left her robe on the changing bench when she showered (although there is a hook in the shower area for your robe) and when she returned, her robe was gone too.3) My husband found a piece of hair on his robe when he first put it on. He is not the type to say anything to staff for something like this but he told me afterwards so that was a bit unfortunate to an otherwise wonderful experience. Will definitely return for another spa day.
My massage itself was great, but the front desk staff were rude and condescending. Their credit card machine was not working — so my card did not go through right away. After lots of back and forth, and probably 15 minutes of being talked down to, they accidentally charged me twice for the (expensive) massage and were rude when I pointed it out. They didn’t even fix it right away and I had to have my credit card company reach out after the fact. It was disappointing to end my spa day this way.
Great place but the front desk got our email incorrect and did not mention that we need to come in earlier than our appointment time which they kept saying they said. So by the time we checked in and got ready we lost 20 mins of our massage time. We paid for an hour and only got 40 mins of the service. With the amount of money we paid we would expect some accommodation and the front desk wouldn’t budge .
My experience there was indifferent. My masseuse was absolutely amazing but the customer service front desk was absolutely horrible. The manager there had a disgusting attitude and I do believe it was racially motivated because it was only towards me, and I am a black woman. I do not recall her name but she was super rude, she completely ignored me when I asked her to open my locker because I had locked myself out and proceeded to assist another customer there and ignored me. Though the massage experience was amazing, this is not a place I would ever go back to. The customer service at the front desk was just zero 0/10.
So sad that I am even writing this but I am still so upset at the way the assistant manager treated us. We came for a nice relaxing spa day and everything was amazing up until the last 10 minutes. We all booked massages and our massages were spaced out pretty far apart but because they told us we were aloud to “enjoy” the amenities we thought no problem. Completely wrong my mother was told she wasn’t aloud to wait in the relaxation room… okay no biggy we understand other people need the space. My sister and I actually thought she was over reacting at first. When we were in the locker room area I felt like we were taking up to much space waiting so we got dressed and decided to wait by the pool we were told we were aloud to sit there earlier. Then suddenly this women yelled you can’t have glass in here! And you’re not aloud to sit here blah blah just reciting what she had in her hand book I assume. My aunt literally just got out of her massage still in her robe waiting for her champagne with nowhere to go. Couldn’t go relax in the relaxation room it was to busy. She felt so uncomfortable she just got dressed as soon as she could. I asked to speak to the manager and of course it was the same women who told us to leave and she just kept deflecting what she said and did onto other staff members when in fact it wasn’t their fault in the least bit. It was the way she spoke to us. It was embarrassing and made us feel stupid. We had such a great day leading up to that I can’t believe I’m even still thinking about it right now. Four seasons motto is literally about hospitality. If we were told the rules prior we would have followed them. She really tried so hard to blame anyone but herself! No one should be taking the blame but her. But she was looking into who did this and who did that… they gave us 30% off but I still feel violated it wasn’t about the price at all… it was her attitude… the way she just stared and didn’t blink. I don’t know what else to say but then to just do better management stop blaming your staff! They are angels and they made us feel so welcomed so thank you to them.
The spa itself is stunning and immaculate. The problem lies with the actual caliber of the services. Due to increased time at a desk (working remotely) I decided to treat myself to a massage. I felt like my shoulders and back could use a little extra TLC but I did not have any notable issues prior to my massage. Later in the day after the massage I felt a bit of pain in my back but I felt like it might be a situation where it’s worse before it feels better. The following morning I woke up with excruciating pain in my back from the Swedish massage I received. Today is two days later and I am still in pain so much so that it is difficult for me to sleep. Unfortunately, not everyone in this profession knows what they’re doing. My masseuse was very kind and I imagine hired because she is pretty but these qualities do not make you the best candidate to provide 5 star massages. Extremely disappointed after spending so much! Truthfully, I would not recommend it.
Racist establishment fueled by a racist manager and assistant manager. The services are expensive and subpar. If you are a person of color then they will follow you, be condescending and passive aggressive. They went out their way to make me uncomfortable. I’m an Indian woman and they made sure to single me out.
Amazing - views, service, treatments. All of it! (The relaxation lounge is pretty small as is the changing area, so don’t plan relaxing or having some quiet time to yourself before and after,)
Awesome experience. Very relaxing, the staff was very professional. Only thing is Ive had better massages at other places and paid $300 less, I would definitely return again if the tab was on someone else lol
The view is really nice. However I didn’t really appreciate that my masseuse asked me to use a percussion therapy without mentioning me that I had to pay for. I only discovered on my bill that It wasn’t included in the base price. I find this practice unethical. You should at least mention that it is in supplement. The masseuse insisted so much on certain points of my body that I m still in pain two days later.
I debated over what I wanted to do while I sat on twitter. It was either a great hotel with 5* spa or maybe do some landscaping in a sketch parking lot. I said why not BOTH! Bam, I went and did a bit of a presser at Four Seasons Landscaping because I am loyal to FSs, although I thought it was a bit weird they branched out into the landscaping business. Still I managed to collect my loyalty points and then headed over to the spa to get some wonderful R&R. Thanks Four Seasons!
The perfect place to unwind and relax after a tough and tumultuous campaign. Tight muscles and stress simply melt away after hours of hard work doing press conferences at Four Seasons Total Landscaping on 7347 State Road. I highly suggest getting the full gentlemans experience or the nail services to really get that dirt from underneath your fingernails after a long, cold day in that awful parking lot.
Off-putting attitude from the service worker answering the phones on the weekends. What a joke, when there are other spas of the same caliber in the area with friendly staff willing to help patrons. I’ve been to other Four Seasons properties—the staff here should take notes from them.
Absolutely perfect experience. Every single person I encountered was just lovely. Cant wait to go back.
The experience is almost great. Two things I would complain the the water pressure in the shower and the always-crowded relaxation lounge.
Well...what can I say but ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! One of my favorite places. Ambience, the food, the staff...all extraordinary!! I love just going to the bar and relaxing. The views are spectacular😍
The view is amazing and the spa itself! But the service of massage not worth the money!
Worth every single penny.
The website is very annoying to use
It’s amaziiiinnnngggg.
Amazing
