Elements Massage

This place was great! On a trip with my sister to visit phoenix, she had never had a massage before. So I changed that very quickly! I booked us an appointment at the Desert Ridge location. The front staff was very kind and pleasurable to talk to! John from Australia did both of our massages. My sister loved her first experience and I had some knots in my shoulders and John worked them out. Thanks so much! And shout out to the weekend front desk girl (Leann maybe) for the great convos!

Very clean relaxing. Ashley is great with pressure if u like very hard deep tissue massage. I had so many knots in shoulders n neck. She got rid of so many knots - sad it was only an hr

I get massages frequently and appreciate them as a regular part of a happy and healthy life. But - this experience of my massage at Elements was not one of them. The staff was friendly but thats about it. My massage therapist gave me the laziest massage Ive ever had. He did the same strokes over and over, with no effort or care to technique. At one point, he was only using one hand, and I suspected he was on his phone with the other. When it came time for my reflexology on my feet, that was another let down. All he did was push hard on my feet, with no attention to technique or method. After this negative (and expensive) experience,I gave my feedback via the email survey that was sent out, as well as reaching out to the corporate email, and both were ignored. Very dissatisfied with this massage and lack of communication.04/10/24 Response to Owner:I said the massage was good to the receptionist, however I did not rave about it. I do not recall meeting you, as there was only the receptionist at the counter who checked me out. She was very nice. There was no miscommunication because I preferred to give honest feedback via email/online, as I did, with no response to date, other than this public forum. Further, I left a good tip because I believe in compensating masseuses for their valuable time and do not penalize if I dont enjoy the massage. My feedback is purely so you can improve the experience for the next customer and/or offer more training for your massage therapist.

Excellent deep tissue massages but not very great at communicating about fees.I had bought a promo massage for 90 min, the admin was not aware of any promos ran, I was charged full amount plus tip, after prepaying & having my massage.They were very helpful in rectifying the issue though & it was corrected. I was just kind of surprised they didn’t know about the promos they were running & had to call me back after calling a manager to verify that they were in fact running a promotion, then they could correct the issue.I had mentioned to only charge $30 for tip, I looked at my bill & it was $200. I was kinda confused but all turned out fine.

Had an amazing experience with Willie and my husband was eith Manny. Honestly we loved the professionalism from the first phone to our last conversation at Elements. Wish we had this in Reno, NV. We came in for a conference in PHX and this location did not disappoint for quality. I used to a be a massage therapist and now an RN so I feel that says a lot as our therapists truly listened and worked on the areas of need versus spending 5-10mins in that given area. If we get to come back here for work, I will pre-book ASAP.

I was honestly really excited for my appointment but there were multiple things that made me walk out of there unhappy. First, I had the massage therapist JW and he was rude from the start. Listened to my concerns at first and just said “well I’m not someone people see as a first time”. Now this is not my first deep tissue massage, I am an athlete and have a lot of knots and tight spots in my back. He seemed very annoyed that I was there and didn’t seem to even want to treat me. I understand that people have bad days, but truly when it comes to clients you need to be nicer. The session was good, he hit spots I needed. Once we were done, he said nothing to me, he didn’t even give me a second to ask a question before he walked out the room and left, just telling me the session was done. Also I had paid for an hour session and he finished 15 minutes early. When I got back to the front desk to pay I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip, now I was going to be honest and say I was not happy almost at all and not leave a tip, but I felt bad and didn’t want to be a jerk. All in all I’m not sure why I was treated this way but I did not appreciate it at all. I don’t recommend JW, maybe other therapists are good, but he was just plain rude.

Kiddos got me a nice massage for a little me time after recovering from an injury. I booked with Willie and man was I impressed. An hr later after meeting Willie and telling him where to focus, I woke up with drool and eyelashes stuck together! And no ladies, I was not roofied; he’s just that good!! My back feels immediately better and after a nice glass of wine, I slept like a baby!Thanks Elements! I appreciate you recognizing talent and sharing him with your customers. I’ll be back😊

I have been a member for 4 years and value the flexibility of travel and finding an Elements most anywhere in the states. The convenience of scheduling online is easy. I appreciate the guaranteed satisfaction of each visit. Only once I was disappointed with my massage, the manager happened to over hear my feelings and said there would be no charge. I was completely surprise, after all the person did spend a hour with me, but it was not at all what I had asked for online. It felt like I was just getting oil rubbed on me. It must have been an off day for her. I still left her a tip for her efforts.So only One unsatisfactory experience out of 4 years isnt bad. And if you are Kind they will take good care of you.I recommend becoming a member.

JW is an amazing massage therapist. Ive been doing monthly and he has helped me identify areas of my body that Im tense or experience pain. Hes great for deeper tissue massages and helps me truly relax.

Desiree is FANTASTIC. I was having some pain and she worked it out. I did a 90 minute massage and could have done longer! Definitely worth every penny!!!

It was my 1st ever professional massage. John was great. There are no issues with John or my massage. But I was not impressed with the dress code that one of the receptionists was wearing. It kind of made me feel like I was at a strip club rather than a massage place. Element massage, please make sure your staff are dressed appropriately to be a receptionist. That was not appealing to a 1st time customer.

All the staff and Therapsis were professional, Knowledgeable, and Courteous during our visit . They dont try to sell you on their plans unlike other places do. They educate you on the different plans they offer and understand everyone has a budget. There are all sorts of plans to meet uour budget. . There are NO contract or penalty for canceling plan which i Love that other places dont offer! I love that our therapists dont chit chat while you relaxing and your time in tranquility. lThis place won us over.

My husband and I both got our massages at the Desert Ridge location. This was our first time going to Elements. I dont know how we could ever go anywhere else!I have only had a couple massages previously but can definitely tell the difference.My husband had JW and in his words I was laughing while he was doing the deep tissue because it hurt so bad but was so great!. He felt like a new man after this and states he never wants to go to anyone else.Highly recommend!

If Im ever in Phoenix again, purchasing another massage will be completed right after purchasing my flight and hotel!

All the massage therapist are great but I highly recommend Aussie John! He’s outstanding, and I’ve given him many times as a referral.

This was my first time ever going to Elements Massage and I was given a gift card. Christeen was recommended by the woman who was working the front desk when I called to schedule an appointment. I am so happy I listened to her. I have had many massages, but honestly Christeen was one of the best Ive had. Im not a big talker when I get massages, so I was happy to hear neither was she. She asked a few simple questions at the beginning as to problem areas to attend to and then started the massage. She asked if the pressure was okay, and I appreciate so much a deeper pressure and hers was perfect for me. The past few massages I have had, only the places I mentioned as problem areas (aches and tightness areas), the masseuse spent time on EXACTLY that spot, no more, no less. Christeen balanced our time well by a deft amount of time spent on problem areas and the rest of my body. I was so greatly appreciative, because it was all much more balanced of a massage than I had been getting elsewhere. I will be back. I thought about doing the monthly membership, but I do not want to have it automatically debited out of my account. The price is much cheaper if you do so, but I will just have to save a little more for the next go. But I highly recommend Christeen and do listen to the front desk lady, because she knows her stuff.

Everyone working the front desk was super friendly. I mistakenly bought a Groupon for a different location, but they still honored the price and didn’t make a big deal about it. The location was very clean, everyone was masked. My massage therapist, Desiree I believe, was very good. The amount of pressure was perfect and she checked with me periodically to make sure everything was good. She also let me know when there were 10 minutes left so I could request that she return to any areas if needed. I felt very safe and relaxed throughout my visit!

Whats not to like? First of all, the scheduler was very helpful and accommodating. She was so sweet and willing to work with me. The office was BEAUTIFULLY decorated in soothing, peaceful colors, and the atmosphere was so comforting and relaxing. Then...the massage. Ahhhhh...it was soooo amazing! Jason has magic hands, I tell you! We chatted, but not too much. He was so knowledgeable about the body, nutrition, and health in general. Unfortunately, I left my purse at the resort, so I had no money to give him. I wanted to go the next day, but we were too busy...sigh. If you go to Elements, ask for Jason. You will NOT regret it!!!

The staff is very welcoming. The appointment needed to be rescheduled and they have a guarantee to cover your massage that is a nice company policy so take care of your hardworking masseuse. My masseuse was very nice and knowledgeable. She showed me a cool stretch for my back and hips. I would recommend this location to anyone who needs to relax or recover.

Absolutely love the massage experiences I receive here. Both therapists I routinely requested were wonderful; focused on areas requested and did a great job. Going to an expensive spa and drinking a mimosa in a calming room is nice on occasion. But I much rather get nearly two amazing massages for the price of one at these spas.

I went for an hour and a half massage with John. It was amazing to say the least. You could tell that John is very experienced in his trade. he gave me a lot of suggestions to help me along and keep my muscles less tense until Im able to get another massage. The place was very clean the staff was very kind and professional. And I felt very safe visiting them during the pandemic.

This was an amazing massage! I had a sore muscle that was creating so much tension it was giving me a headache. I just happened to luck out and they had an opening. The receptionist was sweet and amazing. Petko my massage therapist was awesome. Very thorough! highly recommend.

So happy to find a massage company that will allow monthly contract and cancel with 30 days notice. Can carry over unused massages. Close to my house. Easy to schedule. Desiree (massage therapist) was amazing! Her massage is choreographed to provide the least disruption so it is a pretty much continuous massage. She is also great at diagnosing the issues and using appropriate pressure. She doesnt talk a lot but will ask if the pressure is okay and let me know when I had 10 minutes left, asking if there were any areas I wanted her to go back to.

Its hard to find a great massage therapist who understands someone who has constant pain. Declan did an outstanding job! The night after my massage was the first time I slept through the night without waking up in pain in so long. Declan was professional and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

Maria was a fantastic therapist. She is very knowledgeable and talented in her craft. I left feeling relaxed with all the kinks worked out. I highly recommend booking a 90-minute massage with Maria.

I bought a gift certificate for my 17-year-old daughter to get a one-hour massage at this location because she is a serious athlete, and we have been looking for somewhere for her to get massages on a regular basis. The reviews here appeared outstanding, so I called to make sure that my daughters age would not be a problem. I was told it was no problem, so I bought her a certificate online as a Christmas gift. My daughter called in late December to make an appointment, and she learned that there are only 2 massage therapists who work with underage clients, and they were both booked for the forseeable future. I called again just now and spoke to Angela, who advised me that actually, there is just one massage therapist who works with minors, and she only works weekends. I said, great, my daughter could come 4 or after on a weekend. Angela said Barbara works 9-3. I said, well, then my daughter will never be able to come, and I would like a refund on the gift certificate. Angela said they had never refunded a certificate, and she suggested that someone else use it. I said, no, it was my daughters primary Christmas gift, and if she cant use it due to restrictive scheduling constraints on the part of the business, I expect a refund. Angela said she did not think they could refund a certificate bought online through the Elements website. I looked at the certificate and the online system and found the terms and conditions, which state that Elements locations can issue refunds by logging into the site. So they clearly CAN issue refunds. I feel like this was very unethical of the business. Bait and switch. I am so disappointed because I really wanted to support this locally owned business.

I had the great experience of getting a massage from Manny. He is one of the most educated knowledgeable masseuse that I’ve ever had, and took care of my pain.

Amanda was the best masseuse I have ever had. Her amazing skills were all the justification I needed to get a membership.

I made a last minute appointment for the evening in the afternoon and the receptionist was very helpful and informative. My message therapist Jake was absolutely wonderful it was the best message that I have ever had and I’ve gotten quite a lot. He listened to my concerns and was quite intuitive in helping release my tension. He applied his knowledge of stretching and really pin pointed my problem areas perfectly. I have scheduled with him again and would highly suggest him to others for a message.

If you need a stellar Deep Tissue or have former/current injuries, JW is the man to see here. Hes incredibly educated and talented and always gets the best results! Hands down the best therapist Ive seen in years.Becky gives a wonderful Swedish and can adapt to my needs if I need more or less pressure depending on my needs that day. She also is adamant on making sure that you understand how to take care of yourself between sessions to make your session results last til next time! A really relaxed atmosphere at this clinic, never feel rushed or pushed to add on things I dont want (CBD and Cupping are WORTH the add on though)

Ive had a lot of massages in my life and Thomas was outstanding! As a Gymnastics coach I knew he must have some sort of sports or physical therapy background. Seriously the best massage Ive ever had! The young lady at the desk was also really helpful and super nice.

The good: The facility was extremely clean and the lady up front very pleasant and kind. I hate that I forgot her name!The rest: I had what was supposed to be a deep-tissue massage and trigger point with John yesterday. I’ve literally had hundreds of these because of stress and back problems, so I’m not new to this.Because of COVID, this was the first massage I had in about 18 months. I told the very nice lady who answered the phone that I would need the massage therapist to wear a mask. Like most places, unfortunately, there are no COVID precautions being taken. There’s no way of knowing who’s vaccinated or not, and these people are literally breathing right into your face. I’m vaccinated and wear a mask to protect myself and others in close proximity to me.The lady assured me she would put a note for John to wear a mask. He came and got me and it took a second to realize he wasn’t wearing a mask. I asked him to please put one on. He copped an attitude and said he didn’t have one while he glared at me. I told him I requested it when I made the appointment. He went out to the front and came back with a mask and attitude.Mistakes happen, and the lady had forgotten to make a note of it. Because of how absurdly annoyed he was about having to put on a damn mask, I can’t say for sure, but I think there’s a good chance that it affected the quality of the massage🤦🏻‍♀️It was on the form I filled out, and I also told John, that I had an extremely stiff and painful neck and shoulders, and could hardly turn my head. I also had severe low back pain.I can’t say he didn’t work on these parts, although I had to ask him at the end if he worked on my low back. When he was working on my left shoulder, I told him that was the worst side, hoping he would dig into the knots. He didn’t respond verbally or physically.The massage should have been painful if he had worked hard on all the knots. It wasn’t, and I can honestly say I feel absolutely no better today than before the massage. The range of motion in my neck is actually worse.$100 down the drain for a below average, 50-minute massage.

Right when I walked through the door Leani put a call on hold to greet me, answer all my questions, and made feel comfortable after a stressful day. Very professional and kind. I’m recovering from an injury and JW quickly figured out all of my needs and customized my massage to efficiently hit every muscle and body part that I needed worked on. After my massage he gave me some very useful recommendations, similar to physical therapy that I can work on at home. I’ve gone to Massage Envy in the past about 6 or 7 times and never came close to the experience I had at Elements Massage. I will definitely be back.

Excellent in every way! I called the spa trying to find a deep tissue massage appointment time. I was in pretty bad shape after work yesterday. My sitting position at my job is very conducive to severe back and neck discomfort. I couldnt find a last minute appointment anywhere. I was lucky enough to call this spa and spoke with Ashlyn. Her manager, Danielle actually stayed late just to accommodate me. Lucky for my Danielle was also a massage therapist with extensive experience in sports injury. She was absolutely wonderful. Danielle has an amazing personality and is very professional. Im able to work comfortably today because of my appointment with Danielle yesterday. The facilities are immaculate and tranquil. Thank you so much for everything!! You guys saved me! Elements is very lucky to have staff like Danielle and Ashlyn.Dr. D

The best place ever!!! They have an Amazing Deal with the Membership that helps me save $30-$100 monthly. They recently introduced me to the Himalayan Stones, It was amazing Experience!! I recommend trying out the Himalayan Stones!!!! I have enjoyed the massages from pretty much all the therapists!!! Thank you for helping me heal!!!And lastly, the amazing customer service, this is what persuades me to come back here!!!

Best massage I’ve experienced. Jill listened to me when I told her about the issues I was having with my shoulder. She was an angel in disguise and I felt so much better after my massage with her. Highly recommend this place and Jill. Very friendly service and the place was nice and clean.

I have not had a bad massage here. Jennifer is especially great, very communicative and highly skilled. She goes with the flow, a great collaborator. My recent experience at the front desk at this location was much better than the last time I was there.

The front desk staff are fun and friendly! My therapist listened to what I told him about my body, and was professional and caring. I couldn’t believe the time was up, it felt like only 20 minutes had gone by! The massage was deep and nurturing and afterwards I felt human again.

Got a great deal on Groupon for a new client and had the best massage I have had in a long time. I get 8-10 massages a year and its not often I have left feeling as good as I did from here! The front desk staff was amazing and understanding. my masseuse Zaira was incredible! she was helpful and knowledgeable. Pick another location - They are all independent. Front end staff found every excuse for any and all issues. It’s always the customers or technical fails faults. It’s like an automated response to say - “we understand but…” then everything is never their error. You can see other reviews that also noted they received the “technical fails happen” reply, excuses and blame. Don’t become a member.

Jennifer & Robert are so good at this location. Hands work like magic, i got my pre-natal massage from them. Baby and I were in for a treat. The positive vibes really sooth my soul. I am a first time mom dealing with anxiety and massage therapy was a such a blessing. She not only assisted me to calm down & relax but the knots in my shoulders and legs massage was worth it. I highly recommend getting a massage from Jennifer, her recommendations of using body pillow and feet elevation also helped later at home when I am about to sleep. Thanks again for your service.

It was my first time here, I had Jennifer and she was really great. You could just tell she loves her job. I like deep pressure and she nailed it! Im also pregnant and she seemed to really know how to handle that situation. Im going to be back for sure!

This place is an outright scam. They talked me into a recurring membership but I could not use my credits and that subsequently expired as I could never get an appointment. Im currently working with the states attorney on a class action law suit against this company for fraud, misleading consumers, and charging consumers while not delivering a product or service.Update: In the businesss response they claim to have called me numerous times and left numerous messages. This is untrue. The manager only called me after 3 months of me calling and finally contacting the states attorney to file charges for fraud. They only contacted me out of fear of a lawsuit.Furthermore; This business is painting me as an unstable person when Ive been nothing but positive. This statement will also be included with the pending case.To the business owner: Youll hear from the states attorney in the coming weeks.

The overall experience as soon as you walk in the door is comforting and inviting the massage therapists are varied and skilled in their specific fields in youre allowed to choose them once you become a full-time member. The one massage that I did receive was well worth the money.

Not impressed with Desert Ridge location. I tried redeeming my gift card & they wouldn’t accept it bc it was plastic vs paper (they use paper ones there). They said I had to go to the Mesa location bc that’s the address that was on back of card. They told me this after I sat in there lobby close to 30 minutes. Although the girls were nice there, they didn’t offer me anything complimentary for my time or even a coupon. Instead they tried selling me a massage! I used my gift card in Mesa (40 minute drive 1 way for me) and had the best experience & they explained had the girls called another location someone could of walked them through the new process of redeeming the plastic cards vs the old paper ones. Thanks Desert Ridge location. You lost my business.

Easy to schedule, friendly staff, calm environment, good quiet spa music and dim lighting in the rooms, warmers on the table, hot towels, hot rocks, blanket on the sheet to keep warm, I’ve had 3 therapists here and all 3 have given great massages.

Oh dear, Maria was the very best!!! Her hands were made of silk. She had relaxing powers that put me to sleep. Definitely will visit again and have a longer visit. She made me feel so comfortable!

I have not been to Elements Massage in almost 3 years & never signed a contract, etc. I paid as I went. They have attempted to charge my now closed credit card AFTER 2-3 years, out of the blue. Watch out for this!

JW is a very knowledgeable therapist, knows exactly how to get read of your pain, and what muscles need attention without you even telling him.

Excellent massage, paid attention to the areas I needed worked on, and very affordable. First massage since Covid, and it was very clean, which certainly eased my mind.

Being 7 months pregnant, I wasnt sure how comfortable Id be, but Desiree was phenomenal! I was so relaxed and she hit all the right places!

Poor management. I have cancelled my monthly membership TWICE and continue to be charged. Last month I called to complain and they returned the money back to my credit card. This month, I was charged once again.
