Nanas Smoke Shop

Here is a honest review of Nana’s. From a customer of 10 plus years. Even though I have a friendly relationship with the workers that work, mostly the night shift. I would say their customer service is one star, at most. Upon arrival you instantly are watched, every move made like you have stolen previously from this store. Not only do they watch you like a hawk if you enter the store (which is supposed to close at midnight )any time after 11 they completely make the customer feel uncomfortable and rushed. Basically push you out of the store giving you any time to look through the inventory. Also on top of this there prices are steeper than almost every other smoke shop. They got great quality items and a lot of inventory. But other than that, there employees could learn customer service, I mean we are the ones that pay the bills.!

Nana’s the absolute best! She knows every you need, before you can even say it! The shop may look a little messy, but Nana knows exactly where everything is! I recommend everyone check it out, especially cause they’re open late which is a huge benefit. Shout out to Nana who’s been doing her thing for many years! Shes always got what you need, and she’s a damn good saleswoman, always leave with more than you intended! You won’t be disappointed!

Always have a positive experience when I stop in at this place. The lady that works there (she also works at the other location as well) forget her name, but she is just the absolute best. Service was good but no mention of the service fee for cards, not OK. Also said they had a sale going but charged full price.

I love how this place Tries to actually help you find what youre looking And if you dont know what youre looking for, they help you solve your provlem by finding the best item for you instead of just trying to upsell you and get you to buy everything. They do treat you like family there and are so nice and welcoming. No wonder why this smoke shop is well-known in this area for being who they are.

Stopped here on my way back to flagstaff...saw the good reviews and was extremely disappointed. I got followed around the store which wasnt really a problem until the older gentleman told (not asked) to leave because he was closing the store. Idk what the guys issue was, but be lost out in at least $100. I went to McDonalds nearby and in the 40 minutes I was at McDonalds, the guy never closed the store.

This place will ROB YOU BLIND OF your money by selling bad and dried out Tobacco products on purpose. The lady knew the wraps were bad when I came back in. She knew something was wrong. I bought several cigar wraps that are dried out and they don’t offer replacement but purchase again and get a discount but that might be dry as hell wraps too. I’m not wasting my money. Don’t come here. Go to liquid vape 4 u. Better service. Nann is trash.

Wont give pricing over the phone. Annoying. CBD prices are 20-30% higher than the same brands offer online. Good if you need it quick. However, check the expiration... I didnt notice that the tincture I was sold expired two years ago

Love Nanas especially love my ladies crystal and Cassie!!! Also Matt on occasion and cant forget the older dude who to be honest I was kinda scared of at first when we first started going there but that was like 5yrs ago now I know hes just quite and an observer but super nice and wicked chill. The ladies as well as Matt are super helpful with the disposable vapes and always know whats greatest and latest and almost never steer us wrong. They all overall just know the merchandise its refreshing to say the least. Store always looks great and new invatory all the time crystals always changing it up! Great selection of bongs and glass pipes that no one else has as well as torches and lighters . always uusually sale items to choose from in center of store. Everyone there has been great well keep coming back for sure!!PS.But....... They need to update and upgrade their body jewelry and jewelry all the way around man Ive been holding out getting new tunnels or gauges because Ive been waiting for them to get new stuff...come on maaaan!,!, lol seriously though !!,

My favorite smoke/head shop for years now! Consistently great customer service! Staff is knowledgeable and always very welcoming. I’d heard prices were higher, but they’re definitely lower! I’ve compared several items with other shops in the area & Nana’s $ were lower. They also have a very large selection. I’ve moved so they’re not as close to me now, but I drive a couple miles further to go there. I know I’ll never be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Great place that has a great selection at low prices! They really come through in a pinch when you need something, they helped me with a hookah part, a pipe that typically is specialized because it fits specially for hookahs. They had what I needed thankfully and the service was great, fast, and exactly what I needed.

Everytime I move and try to use a different smoke shop closer to me, I am always disappointed and end up driving the extra few miles to go to the place that I can depend on; Nanas, of course! They have remained consistent over the years. I can always count on being able to purchase what I need, even late at night, without worrying about being shorted on quality. The only people to encounter problems are those that create problems or those that simply ARE the problem with their bad attitudes, or because they got caught trying to be shady and do something dumb, like steal or pay with fake money, and Nanas wont stand for that. Everyone! This is literally the best smoke shop ever! I been to a lot but the knowledge and customer service that they all have here is amazing. They know a lot and never try to overcharge. They have very good crazy good prices for glass and papers, they also carry many papers. Needed replacement for e-cig I’d been using for years. Staff got on it and recommended a brand. Excellent recommendation. Better than the one I’d been using. Will definitely go back for future needs.

I bought loose leafs here & they had mold on them!!! I took the pack right back & explained it didn’t have the authentication barcode & it’s moldy showed all the leafs unused. I was told I can get a discount on a new pack & well it’s tobacco so what do you expect. Selling fake product & TAXING for it too. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Nanas is my go to for Kratom. They have different varieties - powder, capsules, extracts. Their house blend Red Malay capsules are amazing and affordable. I have also developed a love for the Trainwreck blend (a mix of red, green, and white) which is tremendous for pain relief with a kick of energy. A bag of 500 capsules costs around $50 and lasts three weeks for me. Watch out for developing a tolerance. Just switch between strains to prevent it.The absolute best thing about Nanas is their customer service. Whenever I walk in, someone greets me with a smile. Usually I tell them what Im looking for and they always have recommendations. Their store is clean and well organized. Its just such a pleasant environment to shop in.

I love this smoke shop, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The people who work there really make being personable a priority. Great people, even better merchandise with prices that are reasonable. There have even been times where I was short on change and they told me not to worry about it. Every disposable vape I have ever bought from here,dies within two days of use. They charge an extra five dollars in tax for every vape and a debit fee. (10 dollar cube vape came out to 16 dollars) cigarettes are over priced (lucky strikes are 11 dollars vs normal 6) DO NOT COME HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Promise you its not worth it. Gravitate smoke shop has way better deals.

Good smoke shop great selection of prices, not the cheapest but reasonable by far not the most expensive either. Great selection of lighters too, they had many I hadnt seen in other smoke shop. Prices were also well marked and easy to understand where allot of places struggle and dont have prices clearly marked they have prices clearly marked for every product I saw which is nice. No surprise pricing. I came in right as they were about to close and they werent rude about me taking a moment to look over their lighter selection. Id recommend this place just for its crazy selection of lighters, tobaccos and tubes for roll your own stuff. Open fairly late too, 11pm which is later than most. Thanks for being open when I needed some tubes.

Love this place ❤out of all the smoke shops they have the most variety of whatever theyre selling. I been going here for at least 8 years . Great replica purses wallets sunglasses and they also hook you up with deals if youre getting a few items. They are attentive an6f and respectful you can tell they appreciate their customers. . Teetering on the 5 Star mark since the employees are great and the prices are awesome. It did ask a gentleman who happened to be the owner which of his discount lighters were the most reliable and cited an issue I had with one I had just purchased. When he said, eh, 50/50, I couldnt really protest since at least he had enough integrity to be honest.

LOVE coming to Nanas! Ive been coming here since 2006 and the staff have ALWAYS been awesome! They have a large variety of glass pieces, hookahs, all different kinds of tobacco and much MUCH more. I’m surprised companies and businesses of this type have not ran out of business entirely gone bankrupt from Nanas. Hands-down best place to be when you’re looking for anything of the options that they offer what can I say I stopped in Ash and Cassie not only made me feel like family I walked out free of buyers remorse and most importantly feeling as if I I just left my Nanas house. Not only do I highly recommend it for obvious reasons of the business I highly recommend this place further family atmosphere easy-going staff and friendly company. All I can say is there is no such thing as customer service in this place.Its not a bad place overall, prices seemed fair, decent selection but really rude employees. If you believe in supporting the fine art of customer service or even common courtesy this isnt the place to find. When you bring something up to the counter to pay for and the clerk gives you an attitude that you are a total inconvenience and doesnt speak a word to you, doesnt tell you your total, doesnt say thank you, nothing. People need to remember your customers pay your wage buddy

Exactly what the name says, its a smoke shop... I personally have lived in same area of this place and they have been there as long as I can remember so they obviously are doing something right...1st off they are super easy to find, being that they are located on the corner of the strip mall facing Union Hills.. Once you walk in the place is packed from floor to ceiling with different items but very well organized..The size of the store is just right, apposed to some shops that are huge and take forever to find something . Staff has always been polite and helpful and the prices have been more then fair for the small items that I purchased. Just recapping, NANAs appears to have everything you need and that you would expect to find in a HUGE store, expect at a scaled down size. Longevity speaks for itself.. Thumbs up

I have been going here for almost a year but they just lost my business. My husband and I were in there today and the guy that was there was very rude to my husband who only has half a colan therefore he has some bad gas. He made rude comments about my husband so we left and as we were getting in our truck he comes out from behind the counter with a can of air freshener. He said my husband was rude for passing gas. The only rude person was that guy.So I thought I would give Nanas a second chance and once again the same employee was very rude. He ignored me and helped the customer that was behind me. I have never been so disrespected by someone who is in the customer service business as I have by the employee at your store.

My favorite smoke shop. The store is full of cool finds and specialty items. The staff is attentive and informative yet still friendly. The prices are reasonable and the products are good quality. And they dont make the experience awkward like some smoke shops do.

So I have bought all and AWS mini scale from them three times now and they all were defective. They read OUT2! It has never weighed anything. I called and the girl said she will exchange it for me. I drove all the way from new River and they would not exchange it. They also sold me a defective battery 2x with the wrong charger. I am never coming back here. They are greedy and rude.Just like a few other people have put in their reviews, there is no such thing as good customer service at this place. Hey Nana’s if you’d like to actually give me good customer service and take care of your defective product please contact me soon. Great people and a vast inventory of glass oil pipes and Accessories. Very fun store to browse through. I always stop here when I come to Phoenix from Prescott Valley. Where I live they have a limited selection and the prices are outrageous. Love Nanas

The people were wonderful here! They have such a huge variety of things that you can look at and learn about. From colored contacts to collapsible bongs. They have really neat wind chimes and they have decently priced cigarettes. A great place to buy vaping stuff too

Used to be my favorite place as far as smoke shops. Since they opened their second shop they have different employees and several times now not only did they stop giving good deals but on more then one occasion they have overcharged my debit card! And when I tried to explain to them what they did , they didnt even want to hear it dismissed me like I havent spent hundreds of dollars in their shop!! Like its very snakey to overcharge someones card knowing that the customer frequents their shop and has a level of trust so usually Ill just punch in my pin and pay thinking they are trusting ! Buyer beware ! Do the math prior to checking out!!!!

Been going here for years and finally realized they have been overcharging me for a long time. The same guy that always rings me up charges me $90 for a few items. I knew this wasnt right instantly and he starts saying all kinds of numbers. I insist it was wrong and they add it up in front of me and only $50. This has happened many times and i just thought whatever and didnt say anything. Im sure they do this to anyone who has a little money. I own a local marijuana collective and I used to send very many people to this smoke shop but not any longer. I have spent thousands at this shop and they wont get a penny from me anymore. If you want to be respected and not ripped off dont shop here. Pretty sure they sell drugs out of here too

I love this place. They have a wide variety of goods. Purses, hats, sunglasses, as well as normal smoke shop goods. The customer service is amazing here. After a few times in they remember who you are. Great prices 9n cigarettes.

Be very careful at the register. If the item you are buying doesnt have a price tag, which is mostly everything ask how much it is because if they can get away with ripping you off they will. The items I purchased totaled $28.00 but tried to charge me $11.00 extra. When I called him out and told him to check his math he got mad, did not apologize and ultimately charged me $28.00. But Ive heard this is a common practice here.

Update I went into the store as normal and saw the colognes sitting on the counter, one of which i recognized as one i have gotten before and loved many times. saw the price and it was great. but got home and it was FAKE. Wrong top to bottle, but worst of all the smell is not the same. there are some fake perfumes that have wrong bottle but is still the right product but this isnt even that. : (I really love this store not because they have smoke shop stuff, and literally everything but because they always welcome you in. They have knives, designer belts, bags, and really high quality cologne. Very cheap too. Have something for everyone from swishers to back woods to bongs and bubblers.

Great prices and even better deals a majority of the time. I wouldve put 5 stars however customer service is wildly inconsistent. One visit im treated like a valued customer, the next im being stared at from all angles as if im planning on steal, and as if that wasnt enough. Upon asking legitimate questions about various products, the sales person quickly becomes irritated with my inquiries. Therefore, rendering me to walk out with no purchase at all. Now maybe it was a bad day for the sales woman however its multiple visits where i can vividly recall a pushiness to either hurry up and buy or leave.

Ive been coming to Nanas for years. They have a good selection and are reasonably priced, they have just about everything you can think of but on my last visit I came in to buy puff bars. I actually have never purchased them here before. the box is looked a little suspect so I verified them online with the code only to find out that they were fakes from China. Super upset about it, especially since when I called immediately to tell them that I was bringing them back in the owner wanted to know why I was returning them if they worked. You cannot sell fake vape products. Trying to pass off something as real and regulated isnt safe. Not cool and cost you a long timec

You know I used to call the smoke shop my favorite smoke shop in the whole world I have brought so many customers here over the years never have had an issue until right now....... 2 nights ago I bought a super cheap e cigarette the kind you put your liquid in brought it home charged it up doesnt work of course I didnt get my receipt but I thought no big deal as soon as I walked in to tell them that I got this item here and it wasnt working they just straight shot me down and told me they dont sell this item and looked at me like Im crazy like I dont know where I bought it from so very disappointing I will no longer shop there and I will never ever have anybody referred there ever again I really thought a lot higher of you guys very disappointing it was a stupid $10 item you could have at least tried to help me fix it God even the lady that sold it to me looked at me like Im crazy what a way to treat your loyal customers shame on you

Needs some attention: Probably should get to recognize your customers especially when they are in every week, no one likes to be followed and constantly asked can I help you by the same person you just said “no I’m browsing“ to. Also selling broken glass in the display w/o a warning to the customer is shady!For the customers: just learned tonight that they sell broken pieces in with the other glass and only if you notice will they tell you “it was more expensive and that’s why it’s in with those pieces cause it’s discounted”. Wow.......... I even clarified with the other workers in disbelief and confusion “you sell broken glass” Yes they do and apparently people by them all the time.......

This place has a lot variety and specialty pieces. They are reasonably priced and are willing to negotiate SOMETIMES there is a debit/credit charge they dont let you know about. This place is for you if you dont care about service because most of the staff that are there are very rude and often ignore you. I only stop by here only if i have to.

Great selection on some items that other smoke shops cant even come close to. The service is mixed but generally the very cute younger woman is very helpful and friendly. Its worth the drive for me from the West valley.

Nanas smoke shop is not a very big shop however they have a plethora of stuff for people that smoke and for people that like artwork and blown glass items and they even had 2 Bart Simpson blown glass necklaces! They have hemp necklaces and hemp bracelets which are very well made. They get stock in all the time. They even have bumper stickers that are so colorful and Artful with their NANAs name on them. They have SAGE BUNDLES ALSO. I was very pleased to have gone there.

This is one of the best stores in the valley. Always giving good deals giving you bargains. Always polite and very helpful to everything. A+

I hardly want to even give them 1 star. I went into Nanas today because theres an ad on there Facebook page saying that EVERYTHING in the store was 50% off!! (EVERYTHING IN THE STORE.) But as I go in and pick several different things to purchase excited because I should be getting everything for half price. Only to find out that the owner is not honoring the 50% off and in fact close to NOTHING in the store is actually 50% off. I hear 2 other customers being told that some things are 25% off so I decided to mention that as Im checking out. I bring up his Facebook page, I even bring it up on my phone to show the owner, considering he is the one telling everyone that only specific item are 50% off. He looks at my phone and said, yes I see the picture but it means on selected items. My only reply is ER UM no sorry to break it to you, but what it says and what it means are the same thing. Your just saying that you are not honoring it, correct? Only on selected items.I will this I was there shopping about an hour, and many people came in excited for the 50% off, only to find out that nothing was on sale. In an entire hour there not one person managed to find one item that recieved the discount. So in the end I spent 50 dollars and recieved an entire 8 f****** dollars off. What a rip off. I have no more business for the establishment.

Excellent selection with everything a smoker could need. Prices are fair for the selection. But if your looking for more unique American glass there are a few other places. But excellent selection otherwise. Everyone can find something there.

I go to this place a lot, but the last time I went today they overcharged me wait until I left and then charged me more than what I bought was worth so be careful

Ive purchased so much glass here, they make deals on bongs and higher dollar items. They are motivated to sell and know there stuff, plus they have everything you can imagine smoke related and then some.

FYI I was a regular customer here until I realized I was getting RIPPED off and didn’t want to deal with unnecessary rude comments or advances towards me EVERY TIME I came in. Place sells fake products, is very defensive whenever you ask questions, and has the most unprofessional, childish owner I have ever seen! (Also: it’s “reply TO every fake info” if you don’t know how to word it, don’t do it & obviously you are because you don’t want the word getting out, so rather than fix your product you’re just gonna defend it instead.)

Love Nanas the people here are just wonderful been serving the valley for over 20 years. Really look no where else then Nanas. Best smoke shop in the valley hands down.

Prices are a little high but they have a good selection and are really nice helpful people that work there, will be back for sure.

Their pipes, grinders and all the other tools work great and its a fun atmosphere, but my boyfriend was sold 2 times as much Kratom than what he payed for, and the batch was bad. Probably why they gave him so much, but Kratom is expensive to just get a bad batch. He took almost 4 times the reccommened dosage amount and still did not feel the slightest about of effects that Kratom holds. Disappointing.

I have come here for years and used to appreciate the customer service. The girl that used to work there is gone. I went in the other night and the guy who helped me was giving me the same prices the girl used to all the time. Some new a-hole comes out and says the coals are $1 more than usual, the FML is $2 more than usual and the al fahker is $2 more than usual. In total, it was $7 more than usual (had 2 containers of FML). I was tired and didnt want to argue and wanted to go home, so I just paid and left. The fact that they would think I was ignorant and wouldnt notice really ticks me off. I will never go here again!

I bought a bong from Nanas a couple of days ago, and had it just long enough to get it home before it broke at the down stem. I took it back immediately , and they said I could have less store credit than it was worth. Look very closely at what you want to buy from Nanas people, so you don’t get ripped off like I did

Pretty good prices but they dont really help there cuatomers or id all the time. They favorite there customers and just stare at you as if your about to break or steel something. Not a cozy place.
