Coco Nail Spa

Scheduled an appointment during a holiday weekend and visited Coco Nail Spa. Walked in and realized I didn’t need it. It was very much empty and nearly everyone was available. It’s very confusing walking in if you don’t know what you want. You don’t get offered much else and there’s no upselling which is nice part. It was odd. Very fast and expensive. No real attention to detail. You can’t tip on the card you pay with. They request you use their ATM. There’s a bank across the street. I got hurt during my service and it was disregarded. The prices are a reflecting of the location and not the service. Don’t go here.

Never going again!!! The lady that did my nails ran around the room berating me for a tip. Telling me I needed to give her a minimum of 20%. She did a horrible job with my nails (made several of my fingers bleed and now I have hang nails). She also made me choose a nail polish that was extra money.

Not very impressed. Went for a manicure and pedicure. My standard pedicure lasted not even 15 minutes. Totally rushed and not even taking the time. My manicure was just as worse. I had to ask to have under my nails to be cleaned, had to ask the technician to wipe off the clear nail polish off my critical and fingers. I guess she was sour because I said no to all the “up sells” because I didnt need them. For the price and how much time was spent I would go somewhere else.

I sat down for a pedicure at 11:50 and by 11:58 Sue was finishing up my pedicure and about to paint my nails which still had some old red polish on them. The most rushed pedicure I’ve ever experienced. No massage, no proper heel buffing, no proper ingrown nail removal even after I asked for this service multiple times. Sandy took over and finished what Sue had started, she was very nice and understanding. I really wanted to love this place but I will not be coming back.

Dont walk run to Coco!!!This is an amazing super clean & friendly nail salon.Gina is my nail technician and pays attention to every need.Very attentive!. My recent manicure & pedicure was beyond 5 stars.....If you go ask for Gina. Perfection at its finest!!!The owner Joanne is very accommodating and you know right away that you want to book your next appointment.Joanne always makes sure that I am 100% satisfied - And I am every time.Always100% happy!Extremely easy to book an appointment & the front desk is super nice.Amply parking & no fees.5 stars & beyond.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Worst place in Rye Brook for Pedicure and Manicure. Absolutely rushed, zero attention to detail, poorly done and disinterested staff. Never going back.

Requested a reflexology massage but was brought to a chair for a chair massage, even though I repeated myself multiple times.The chair was incredibly uncomfortable and may have even made my back and hips feel worse afterwards, as I felt a lot of sudden discomfort walking afterwards.Would strongly encourage they get rid of the massage chair set up in the back as its not ideal to be seated in for longer than 5 minutes.Was told reflexology massages here were great but disappointed I didnt even receive the intended massage at all.

I am surprised I was not injured after the 60-minute massage I received last month. This was absolutely not a certified masseuse, and they charged almost $100. If you are not properly staffed, do not offer that service. This is a liability and a serious injury waiting to happen. I have been going here for years, and their facials and manicures are great. However, I suggest the owners hire a certified masseuse or properly train their staff, and for customers to ask for nothing less for such a price.

I love this place. I am here every two weeks for the past couple of years and can’t say enough good things about Blanca! She does a fantastic job. The salon itself is easy to get to with ample parking and it’s a tranquil experience. 10/10 would recommend this place and make an appointment so you don’t have to wait!

Terrible! The front desk lady is super rude. I scheduled mani with my 5 yrs old and had a pedi myself. Asked to do my pedi while my kid wait so we can do mani at the same time, she rudely refused and in a very impolite way said that they cannot accommodate! Leave it alone the fact that the staff are always in rush and most of them do a below average job!

I scheduled a last minute appointment with coco nail since they’re known as a reputable company with various locations. What a disappointment, I was rushed out, and the lady who took care of me didn’t bother to worry and make sure the line of my french tip properly aligned with the other nails. Some nails were longer than the others that I had to ask to pleas even them out. She was kind enough to do so as requested but compared to other experiences, this was not the best and unfortunately I would not be recommending this place. I also wish Coco Nails kept track of the new clients because as a new client, it would’ve been nice to have someone who cares, and maybe they would’ve won another customer. Not the case here. I always feel terrible writing bad reviews but I do it to safe people some time before visiting this place.

BEWARE! I will never spend another dime in this place and not because I did not get a decent pedicure. I went with my daughter. I was very specific 2 pedicures and 1 eyebrows. That was the appointment and that was confirmed when I walked through the door. My pedicure was longer than my daughters and she was done first. Without asking they decided to do a manicure on my minor child and charge me. I complained and the girl at the counter offered a $10 gift certificate for next time pushing the blame to the technician. THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT TIME and I have spent a considerable amount there over the years. This was not the only issue. I sat and watched,, during my entire stay, that same girl working the counter interrupt EVERYONES pedicure. She dragged technicians away from clients to briefly help others stopping there pedicures physically pulling them away. She switched technicians that had already begun working on clients to other clients mid pedicure. The girl sitting next to me at the dryer tried to pay for her manicure with a credit card. She was told the minimum for a credit card was $20. In NYS the minimum that can be imposed is $10. $20 is illegal! The option the girl was left with was to get another service or use the ATM there on site and get cash. This is not a $20 or $30 pedicure place. They have the nerve to charge $59, $79 and HIGHER and treat clients with such disrespect.

Vicky did my nails and it was great! She is a very good professional, the salon is clean, the owner is super friendly, they have a great selection of services in a pleasant ambiance. Better than that just the price: $15 for regular manicure!!!Everyone should try.Chris

Beautiful salon/spa. Impeccably clean. Very lovely staff.... Theyre skilled. I have a beautiful manicure, and the pedicure is thoughtful & very well done. My 1st time here, and will definitely be a returning customer. Mimi took such wonderful care of me !

Coco used to be a nice nail salon but has recently been going very downhill and I honestly don’t think I will be coming back. Not only have all prices increased since Covid, which is unfortunate but understandable, but they are now trying to charge bogus prices and claim they have been that way for a “very long time.” I went in today to get a gel manicure that their websites lists as $35 when it was done they said it was $40. I stated that the website said it was $35 and I would only be paying $35 and eventually they very reluctantly agreed saying that the price increase happened a while ago but they are too busy to update their website even though all other prices were completely accurate based on the limited signage found in the salon. In addition I had my 10 year old sister with me and they not only charged full adult price for her manicure which has never been the case before but also charged an additional $5 for a design without checking with me first as they sat us separately, even though they have never charged for a design before. When I asked about a children’s price the age limit kept changing and it seemed like they were only interested in squeezing out as much money as possible. While all of this was happening I also heard the woman next to me having issues with her own pricing. She had a young daughter and had asked about the price previously and been told $8 and then they tried to charge her $10. I understand inflation hurts everyone but they seem more interested in charging whatever they want regardless of their own advertised prices rather than actually doing the job they are being paid for adequately and there are too many other mail places around to bother going back if I know it will be a sub-par experience and a fight to not get ripped off by coming back here in the future.

This is a great salon! Always clean, staff super friendly addresses you by name. They installed plastic partitions to address COVID safety so that their customers were protected while still maintaining the beautiful aesthetic. I have been going to Christine for years and she knows exactly what I need every time! Her suggestions are always on point and her work is impeccable! Christine is the consummate professional, sweet and incredibly funny!Everyone can have an off day and even the best business can’t please everyone all the time. Leaving a review saying a business should be shut down because you were unhappy with your nails is unnecessarily cruel!I love this place and recommend highly!

My mom and I have been going for the past 2 years. We LOVE it. It is very clean, and Ann and Christine do an amazing job. The new front desk woman June is also super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I have been going to Coco for years and have always had a great experience. Especially now, during COVID, they have handled things very well. The space is large and very clean. They have always been on time for my appointments and do a great job. I dont know why there are so many negative reviews as I am very particular but I will continue coming to Coco!

I’ve used CoCo spa in Ryebrook for 19 years now. They’ve done facials, body massage with hot stones, manicures, pedicures, facial waxing and a host of other procedures for me. I have nothing but an A+ for them. The owner Joanne is an accomplished professional. And a good communicator. She wins you over with her sociability and a smile on her face all the time. And, the smile is genuine. I’ve checked out almost every spa in Westchester County. This IS the best. Joanne’s girls too are professional and honest in giving you an opinion on the best choices specially for a facial. True, you pay for the quality of work and the ambience of the place. Yes, there are places that’ll do a manicure or pedicure for 59 USD. But where are these places located? And, what’s the quality of service? Joanne’s girls likeKristine, Blanca and others do great work. They’re never in a hurry to work with you. This is the place where I have myself pampered. Extremely clean. To me it’s like a five star hotel. I’m am international traveler and have sampled spas the world over. CoCo spa is one of the best on my list.

Lydia is a miracle worker. I can’t believe the results. Incredible results in one visit. You will not believe better than injections or surgery.

Gel pedicure was $70, way overpriced could go down the block for $50. Didnt even get calluses or dry skin removed for that price or a solid foot massage.

My mom and I have been going here for years, always have a wonderful experience. Christine and Mimi do such an amazing job with both manicure and pedicure, and the back massage is always a nice treat! Love this place!!

I did not have a pleasant experience here. I used to go all the time before they closed due to the pandemic. Scheduled an appointment with a few friends and is was just one disaster after another. I only had a few dollars cash ($3 cash on me for a $17 manicure)and thr manicurist says to me that I needed more $ for tip and that I should ask my friends if I could borrow money. Then we were completely rushed out of the place. The appointment was for 5pm and the store claims they close at 7. They kicked us out the second we were done, locked the door and left before we even got to our cars! It was over priced and far from relaxing on all accounts. Not returning.

For almost seven years, I have been going weekly to Coco Nail Spa for all different kinds of services. I cant even remember where or why I went anywhere else, because I wish I would have known about Coco years ago. This Nail Spa is a hidden gem in the back side of the Rye Ridge Shopping Center. The location is in a great area because of the other shops and stores this center provides.Coco Nail Spa is a luxury oasis where you can go to get your weekly manicure, monthly facial, beautiful eyelash extension or a relaxing massage when you are feeling stressed out and need some time to regroup and get your mind off things. The facility is always extremely clean and instruments sterile.From the exceptional front desk customer service to the amazing job by any of the aestheticians. I have been seeing Jini for years and she truly is the best! I know I can always trust her for any of my manicure/pedicure and facial needs. She always does a detailed and thorough job and gets both my nails and skin looking their best! I particularly love the Secrets Spa Manicure and Organic Cranberry Spa Pedicure.I was upset for the many small businesses that had to close due to COVID, but understood the necessary safe precautions needed to be taken. I was delighted when they were able to open their doors again because I missed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere and my nails really needed some TLC! I had no doubt in my mind that COCO NAIL SPA would not only adhere to the safety regulations and guidelines for New York State, but would make sure they would go above and beyond to make their customers feel safe while being pampered.I would highly recommend stopping by for any of their many services that they provide. You wont be disappointed!

I spent $107 on a manicure and spa pedicure. Not to mention tip for manicurist a massage girl. Massage girl was putting my shoes and socks on me ( very weird) and was rushing me out. I said I didn’t think my nails were dry. She said oh yes… all dry. 5 fingernails got ruined… manicurist tried to fix and made it only worse. I walked out and came home and my toe polish has my sock lines on 4 toes and 5 of my fingernails are ruined…. What a waste… this is the third time in a row there have been issues. Never again!

I love coco nail spa!! I drive from Yonkers to get a gel manicure and Pedicure they always do a great job. I also go there for eyelash extensions and miss Yumi always takes care of me , so clean and professional and on time !! My lashes last about three weeks and I never see any damage or breakage to my real lashes. I always leave my appointments feeling satisfied !

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE . Terrible Customer Service.I unfortunately had to give one star to write a review - DO NOT GO HERE.My nails were filed down with a buffer, the friction burnt my nail looks RUBBISH.The quality of work was just not here. Very disappointing experience.In fact, I wanted to take the polish over so I would do it on my own.Anyway, what I am really disappointed with is the attitude of responding to customers.The poor reception attitude has cleared my mind to visit here again, She wasnt frendly at all. Unfortunately, I do not remember the her name.......dont want. She did not even try to listen to me.Anyway,Lets add some others what i experience this place......Poor reception service, slow job speed like snail, poor language skill( they speak chinese ..Vietnamese... and poor manner, bad smoking smell & food too, (I thinks they smoke every minutes). I never felt this annoyed about a nail salon before.I got bunch of community friends.I will strongly recommend this wonderful nail salon.

I had a late afternoon appointment, I was told they’re running very late, and don’t think they will be able to accommodate me. They had at least four other people waiting for their appointments and the woman was rude and very stressed out.

I’ve been going to coco spa for about three years now. I love everything about it! Christine and Julie are AMAZING! They both take their time and do such a beautiful job. Would totally recommend this nail salon to anyone. Can’t rave about it enough !!

Not going here anymore! They used to be good but theyre too busy now to care. I had an appointment with myself and college daughter and were rushed through our mani pedi. They didnt even file my toe nails, barely did the bottom of my feet. I guess if youre not spending 75.00 for a special milk & honey pedicure they do a rush job. On to the manicure, I guess they dont soak your hands in the warm water bowl anymore, rushed again, poor job, and no thank you for the 10.00 tip. Just rude and unprofessional, not to mention overpriced for a very bad job.

Honestly I hate my nails from this place and will NEVER go back. I wanted round french tip with colored tips and got nothing like the photo o showed. Go to Connie’s their prices are better and the people are nicer. Not to mention the fact that they are horrible at doing nails.i hope they see this and shut down

My first and last time going here. Do not go here for a powder gel manicure. First off no one knew how to do it except for this older man. I thought this was odd especially because powder gel is so popular. My nails looked awful and cracked the next day. On top of that, they charged me $50!! I never paid that much for a powder gel manicure.

A pampered experience. From Mimi’s massages to a clean covid environment, I felt like a princess. Gel manicures beautifully done and they LAST!!! Highly recommend.Tami

This salon does not consider cleanliness, people of color, elderly or disabled people. I won’t be going back here after I see how they treat people.

I rarely put reviews but this place definitely deserves it! Best attention and customer service! Such a great and hard working staff very attentive, I’m really excited I discovered this place. It’s one of the places that make you want to come back! I will definitely be returning soon. Very excited to go back!

Would rate with zero stars if that was an option. Walked in for a gel manicure and Yina destroyed my nails. She had no patience for the gel to soak, so after a couple of minutes she began scraping the still hard finish and then filed the nails so hard with the electric file that they are now paper thin. Went back to complain and they suggested that I go back to regular manicures for six months until my nails grow stronger again.

Unfortunately I had a pretty negative experience. They were not polite and charged for things that I have never been charged for before such as different pricing for different shape of nail. Needless to say I will not be returning.

This place is terrible. Kelley is the worst. Nasty attitude, unfriendly, rushed through my pedicure , and gel mani, completely sloppy paint job looks like a 3rd grader did it. The interior is nice and clean but the customer service is just terrible.

This place is so hit or miss. I just got a gel manicure here. The manicurist didn’t even clean up my cuticles, the color is all over the place. Looks like a five year old did my nails. Not the first time this has happened here. Waste of money.

Wendy, Julie, Kim and Kay is always professional and kind. I have been going to coco spa for almost 2 1/2 years and is very happy with the service.

I know covid hit people hard. I know business are suffering but they raised their prices SO HIGH... the first time I went back recently, it was 17 dollars more!!!!!! combined for the services I used to get prior to covid.
