I was super anxious and worried from the reviews but man for my first experience it was incredible. The people in the front were sweet, service was incredible bartenders didn’t cheat me out and were very welcoming. The place looked great and security really made the place feel incredibly safe. My friend had an amazing bday. Good work to everyone.

Nice interior, good layout, clean bathrooms, yummy drinks, didnt get too hot. Had really fun and kind vibes. We did come to a special guest dj night and he had great music all night.

Well first let me say. Being a DJ. Is not always easy but the DJ needs to feel his or her crowd in order to play the music that fits the crowd that is there. I myself never have try this club. But June 8th it will be my first time to this club and for that night should be a good night. I hope

EDM Fridays yesss, crowd was super chill and friendly there to have a great time. Staff was great and our drinks from Mari were fantastic. Been a few times and look forward to going again.

Candy has been one of the longest standing nightclubs in Portland. Theres a reason MTV filmed Real World Portland there!!! The best bottle service girls in town! The club has the most all inclusive vibes, whether your visiting out of town or just a night out with your friends, youre always going to have a great time. Staff and security always making sure the customers are number one priority!

Had the best night, I did feel a lil old due to prom night crowd. Yet the drinks were delicious and kicked in quickly. The music was awesome. The bartender, the dj, and the other staff where extremely nice.

Small and great for local shows energy is high and welcoming. Went late no food but great local djs and friendly bottle service 🤙

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This place tried scamming my friends and I twice. This place accepts cash only for the cover fee and they have an ATM at the door. The guy at the door charging people was so ademate about me handing him 40$ instead of 60$, cover fee was $25 and I was paying 50$ for two people. I had to show him how much money i took out of the my bank account on my app and showed him I withdrew $60. When I asked if I could look inside prior to paying the entrance, a girl at the door blocked us from trying to peek into the curtains. Unf**king-believable! Never have a gone to a club that dose that! When we went inside, the bartender sharged us $120 for 3 drinks! DO NOT GO HERE! they will try to scam you & over charge you! The DJ plays horrible music and the place is super emtpy on a Saturday night, this place just needs to be shut down. Periodt!!!

I went to this establishment to have a good dance Night. I just moved here and went here because the recent weekend was amazing. I brought my friends visiting from Eugene for the weekend. I literally talked this club up soo much with fun times. When we arrived, the establishment opened later than usual. When they opened they told me that it was Latin Night. I was excited because I studied samba and ball room dancing Latin music in college. I was confident. No one at the establishment could handle what the 3 white people had to bring, and started giving us racial slurs that made my wife so upset. We exited the establishment and told the door girl about our experience. She WAS UNABLE TO REDUND US OUR $90 WE PAID TO GET IN. We were in the establishment for 20 min trying to have fun, and were in the establishment for a fleeting amount of time. This was the biggest slap in the face. Thank you Latin Night, for making us feel so unwelcome, and the front door couldnt stand behind us. I am so upset. My wife and visiting friend were crying because of the racial remarks. I hated my experience. No refund. No apology. Nothing. This place is not a place for a person who values equality. Nothing was done. $90 later. Great 15 min. I will not be returning.

Perreo nights on Saturday are always such an amazing time 🤩 celebrated my 21st here & loved it so much I got tables for my friends birthdays too!! Management always assures that everything goes accordingly & I always appreciate it so much

Extremely disappointed with this club. I go here often for Perreo Saturdays and never had any problem or complaint despite the overpriced drinks. I went with a group of friends two weeks ago and I paid $60 in total for my friend and I. I stayed for 3 minutes inside sitting as I have a chronic condition as a woman that causes random pains in my stomach. I asked the lady that collects the money to please issue me a refund as I just wanted to go home and rest and she refused completely. She said she will ask her boss and the boss said the same thing and told me to understand the situation. I stated my condition despite not wanting to as it is a personal thing and she still refused and even told me to just sit it out. Seriously? How do you expect me to sit in pain at a noisy club? Anyways, I just decided to leave and I will gladly never come back to this place. As a club that advertises all inclusive on their site, do they really consider people with chronic conditions?

Extremely disappointed. For starters prices always fluctuate, I’ve been charged anywhere between $15 - $70 a person just to get in. Its ridiculous, its never been packed or anything as they may claim. I never have had to skip a line cuz there is none. Don’t get me started on the bartenders always trying to sneak in their tip before they give you back the computer to sign. This last time, it was a african american male. I know AMFs are $15 a piece. I got 2 which is $30. When he gave back the device so I could add tip and sign it was $36 and the fine print said 20% tip successfully added. I had zero consent over that. It was just ready for me to sign. I know the policy is $70 or over on a tab gets a 20% tip, mine was again $30. Highly unprofessional, should be fired. This was on Saturday September 3rd around 10:30 at the front bar, closest to the door

Sundays are not the same. They call themselves a gay Latin club but none of the employees are gay or speak Spanish. The new drag host on Sundays barely speaks Spanish and the only thing she said to me was to make sure I checked out her other Latin event at Stag on Thursdays because they were a real gay club

They gave my credit card to someone else after I started a tab. When I went to cash out they tried giving me someone elses card. They finally told me that they didnt have my card. I found out later that theyd realized it was gone 3 hours earlier in the night but didnt tell me. Then, while I was waiting for them to look for it the bartender, Jennifer, who was responsible for giving my credit card away, started serving drinks and ignoring me. I finally got her attention and asked if shed found it because, if not, I needed to call my bank immediately. She said yes, they were just printing out the receipt. I wondered why they were still looking around with flashlights so I asked another bartender, and well no, they hadnt found it. Shed lied to me.They also overcharged me and said theyd undo all the charges to my account right then. Not only did they not undo the charges, even more had been charged to my account from them the next day. Ive tried calling several times to speak with their Manager to resolve this, but they said Id have to come down there on Friday or Saturday and pay their $10 cover charge to speak to the Manager. The Manager/owner wont speak to me on the phone.They also said theyd call if my card was brought back the next day but didnt mention that theyd be closed the next 4 days. It was bad enough that they gave my card away and then didnt tell me, but then they really didnt handle it well when I finally found out. Its too bad. I liked the ambience of the place, and wanted it to succeed as an all inclusive lounge. But giving my card to someone else and not notifying me as hours went by is bad business practice.

Bummer. Every seat was reserved. Literally every seat. Paid $20 to get in and $20 for one drink. $40 for maybe 20 minutes of time. Not handicap friendly. Waste of money. Drink wasnt good. Left my drink full drink and left the bar. No refund. Do not recommend.

I wanted this to be a great night and try a new place after two years but it turned into a huge disappointment. I understand having lines to get in but what I dont understand is when you ask if they know how long it might be and they tell you 10-15 and it turns into over an hour with no explanation. Also while having people stand it line the only heat we had in 26 degree temps was the door lady who made it perfectly clear that she was sharing her heater with us. After finally getting inside it was even worse, you couldnt walk around without having someone push you out of the way. Stood at the bar for almost an hour just to try and get drinks and everyone else who pushed themselves up there got served way before we did and I chose not to even get anything because you could even go anywhere without spilling a drink on people. I was grabbed so many times by strangers and even had employees pushing us to the side just to get thru without even saying anything. I wanted to give this place a good shot but Im not sure if I want to try again after all that.

DJ/music is good. Bar is expensive and inconsistent. Different bartenders charge different prices for the same drink. Beware of being overcharged when using your card or them adding extra tip (ask for receipts).

When my little brother was visiting we went to candies and I paid double for me and my brother who was behind me. I let the girl who charged me $60 know and went to the bathroom. When I got out my brother told me wow I thought you were gonna cover me and I told him I did and went back to the girl who was collecting and told her I had given her $60 and she said no one gave me $60 tonight and I told her that’s not true cause I gave you $70 and you had to give me $10 back then she said we should’ve said something when it happened I told her I told her and then my brother did and she said well you should’ve been here with him to tell her “again” and told me I would have to wait til the end of the night to get my money back. So I just gave up and let them keep my extra $30. And then when we were leaving my friend was trying to get her coat and the same woman was being rude and agitated cause she couldn’t find her jacket or anyone else’s. If the star had to go to anyone at this club I would give it to the bartenders and security, security all had a good vibe and took care of some dudes who got out of hand and the drinks were great. If candies wants to up there game they need a new front door staff that knows how to host with efficiency and customer service and possibly new djs, music choice was meh.

My boyfriend and I went here on Saturday night. They had kareoke going on, it was a blast. The service was amazing, an employee named Sauny made sure we were taken care of- I’ve never had such great service, he went over and beyond for us. Promote this guy! We will be back to see him. Courtney at the front door was also very kind. We will be back!

They are all about taking money from the lgbtq community. Security guards harass people for money to get in even though the place isn’t packed. “It’s $20 if you want to skip the line”Bartenders add tips without telling you and then they ask for tips after they added their own tip. HORRIBLE

They charge 25dll cover. The DJ has the spinning ability of a toddler I think he has ADHD or something played a song for only 20 seconds. NO PLACE TO SIT. You have to buy a VIP table. Who ever runs this joint yikes. Security super unorganized they had like 6 and none where securing the premises. I will never step foot here and will tell everyone not to attend such overpriced and gross venue.

I got $60 from the ATM and gave it to the bouncer and I paid for 3 people including myself. He gave me back $10 when he owed me $15, and I was drunk & asked about recommendations for other bars so I was kind of distracted, but I went back and asked how much I was owed and he said that he gave me more money than what I was owed because it costed LESS per person..so I just wanted to go inside and I let it go but i’m realizing now that he was taking advantage of the fact that I was drunk and distracted so he took $5 which is little enough to not really notice so I can’t imagine the amount of times he’s done this to people who are more drunk or distracted and is pocketing the money.

Horrible customer service!!! I asked about the cover price for an event and they saw my message and ignore me. I asked again and asked if they had a number so I can call and they replied to me just with the phone number and that was it. I don’t see the difference of telling me on phone and social media. Their automatic message said that for any question just message them on Instagram and they don’t reply. Rude and bad customer service.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH. DJs suuuuuuucked. Thats why theres only 2 people on the dance floor. They dont play music their customers want, just the music they want. Its cool were going to white 🦉.

Horrible place. The female manager Mari is rude. Cover and drink prices alway change and it’s always dead inside. Don’t go to this place.

New Years Eve was not what was advertised, no balloon drop, no champagne and the djs were horrible. EDM all night, maybe 4 or 5 songs that were not but not what you would expect for new Years Eve event. The flyer didnt mention it would be the same damn music and beat the whole night, which I have learned my lesson. Research the dj before you go.

Friends and I went to Silk Showers this last Friday & had an awesome time I hope they do it again!!!

I had reservations for a table when i came a guy with glasses and black hat asked me to leave . i show him the reservations he said no thats not our+ picture. so he asked me to leave . i waited outside till a security girl came to me and asked me to come in she lead me to my table.

A guard was very racist, I went by myself on latin night and he marked two X on my hands and then kicked me out of the bar by pushing me. Never coming back again.

The greatest most open welcoming environment! Delicous burgers, nachos, tacos and burgers, many vegan options!!! Great happy hour very friendly staff and great cocktails!! 10/10 highly recommend

The cover is too expensive, and it is quite hot inside. They just have a couple of dirty fans blowing dust on everyones faces. I wont pay $30+ for that...

Terrible club. Horrible customer service. Worse 20$ of my year.

Poor service overpriced drinks, would not let us inside the club but let others in after us. spent hundreds in alcohol and had to sit outside. they also charge $2 if you want a straw on top of your $17 drink.

Vani showed me hella love and the ambiance of the spot was top tier. If you in Portland you gotta stop by and grab a bucket and get down!!!

They were charging us $30 each to get in when it was 11pm and they close at 12am. It shouldnt be that overpriced! I was very disappointed I was looking forward to it😑

I didnt know about this place until the Latin nights started, it became a super cool place to go dancing with my friends, they have good DJs with a good atmosphere, it doesnt seem fair to me that they want to take away the Latin nights, they suit it to take away the fun for many people, if you want to grow, leave the Latin nights
