Massage and Wellness Collective

I have finally found a serious, therapeutic massage delivered by skilled professionals. As an athlete, my performance and comfort is enhanced by regular, therapeutic massage. Im not here to just relax (although thats an option!); Im here to feel better than when I came in and that is always the case when I visit various therapists at the Massage and Wellness Collective. Its a beautiful venue in a convenient location - near downtown but plenty of parking. Im so happy to have found this place and highly recommend their services.

Absolutely amazing and worth every penny! I have, nerve issues, chronic pain and a sports injury which required surgery. Both Heather and Michelle A.’s techniques have instantly alleviated the pain and released the knots and strains in my body. Michelle A. Melts away the knots in the body using the trigger point method. I’m serious… your knots will be gone. Her work on TMJ has left me speechless. She understands the body and her pressure is deep! Heathers techniques for releasing tight muscles also releases emotional distress. My neck was pulling forward to the right and she helped in getting it back to normal while I cried from all the emotional release. You can’t go wrong with either… just be clear about what you want since they both know multiple massage styles :). Worth it!

An amazing group of practitioners and welcoming staff and atmosphere. Heather has been working miracles, helping me to recover from a cervical pinched nerve. Jessica is also wonderful.

I played ice hockey at a very high level for over 20 years. Ive received average 2-3 massages a month for the past 10 years. Heather might be the best massage Ive ever had. I have started trying other therapists as well and I must say, this is the place to go! If you are around the Seacoast area and within a 20 miles radius of Portsmouth-Massage and Wellness Collective is worth every mile and penny! Thank you all for being fantastic therapists and people!

I was given a massage certificate from my daughters for Christmas. Beth was my person and she is fantastic. I work two jobs, so this was a treat. I was so relaxed for the rest of the day. I live two hours away or I would make another appointment if only I lived closer. Thank you Beth, I appreciate you very much !!!

My husband and I were on vacation in Portsmouth and booked last minute massages at Massage and Wellness Collective. Not only were they extremely accommodating for our last minute requests, but they were extremely knowledgeable about what would best fit our different needs for the massages. April and Heather were absolutely incredible and we both left feeling so relaxed! Would highly recommend.

Love this place. I have tried multiple therapists, they are all good! However, if you want a next level massage that requires multiple days of recovery, ask for Heather, she is a 1x or 2x per year type massage.

I am very late in posting this review from a massage I received in October 2022. My wife and I were vacationing in Portsmouth, and I decided to treat us each to a massage. I was fortunate to have the chance to work with Heather. I have had many massages in many cities over the years, and Heather was truly extraordinary. As another reviewer wrote, she does have superpowers. Big thanks to Heather for her expertise and graciousness.

I had a massage from Meredith and it was the best massage I have ever had. It was the massage I always hoped for when going somewhere else. She focused on my trouble spots and also gave attention to other areas. I would recommend her without a doubt!

Were on girls week away and wanted to book massages. Im so glad we found this gem. I had a 90 minute massage with Meredith and it was pure heaven! She applied the right amount of pressure, her flow was spot on and I was so relaxed.. Meredith made me feel very welcome and frequently checked to make sure pressure was ok. I will be sure to visit again next time in town.

I have been receiving bodywork for over 30 years (reflexology, massage therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, reiki, etc) but for the past few months the treatment I had been receiving was just not addressing some persistent deep muscle discomfort. So I decided to try a new massage therapist. Two days ago I had the good fortune of receiving a deep tissue massage from Heather and she is likely the best Massage Therapist I’ve ever had. She has highly intuitive hands and, in my first appointment, worked out the kinks that have been causing me pain for months, she knew exactly which muscles needed releasing. Someone wrote in their review of Heather that she has super powers and I absolutely agree. She is my new go to person. The place is lovely. As are all the people who work there. Highly highly recommend.

I was passing through Portsmouth for the week and found this lovely place via Google. The reviews were fab so I thought Id book an appt.I had a combination lymphatic massage with Heather, and she also did some deeper work. I have no words to express how incredible Heather is. Shes an incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, talented lady and it was one of the most restorative and healing treatments ever.I will forever remember the session and hope to make another trip back to Portsmouth so I can see Heather again!Thank you so much! Got an amazing deep tissue massage from Meredith and HIGHLY recommend seeing her if your muscles need that extra attention. It has always been extremely hard to find somebody who can unwind the issues I have. The targeted pressure and extra attention to whats going on beneath the surface is phenomenal. She also explained that cupping some of the more gnarly areas beforehand would help greatly in the process. I will most definitely be integrating that into my next appointment!

My sister and I suffer from some pretty consistent neck and upper back discomfort and sometimes pain. She had gotten a craniosacral massage from Heather and called me immediately after to recommend it. I booked one and it was like no other massage I had ever gotten. It was the most satisfying experience because Heather was able to work out some long-standing tightness others could not. The next 24 hours I felt like my body was continuing to readjust and settle in. I felt a lightness and a mental calmness I hadn’t felt in a long time. Even my breathing was improved. Still 4 days later I’m reaping the benefits. Heather is not just any regular massage therapist. She has special powers.

My husband introduced me to this place because he said it was the best deep tissue massage he ever had. He said it was the best neck massage he ever got. I went in and had Heather as my therapist and she didn’t disappoint. I was nervous at first because I don’t like it as deep tissue as my husband does, but I was impressed. Heather’s touch and technique for a relaxation massage was just as amazing! So glad I went!! Can’t wait to go again!

Went in with pain level 8 in my upper back. I saw April who was truly wonderful. April knew exactly where to work, great pressure, and even gave recommendations for stretches to relieve tension. Felt cared for. Highly recommend! Thank you, for the relief.

Heather, thank you very much for your work on me last night. I am proud of my bruising as it shows how hard we both worked. This part is amazing, I was able to walk up and down stairs without the pain in my left hip when I got home!!! So in one session your were able to dissipate the pain of the bursitis Ive had in my left hip for 6 months! I look forward to working together. I urge other readers to give Heather a try if you havent received the results you have been looking for with other therapists. The space is really lovely, newly painted and furnished, easy and good parking. Make your wellness a priority for you!

I had a 60 minute sports massage with Meredith, she was wonderful. I have a tight right shoulder from rowing and she helped it a lot. Highly recommend !

Heather is great massage therapist! My girlfriend and I are getting monthly massages, which we enjoy. Normally she works on my back, neck and upper body and utilizes cupping to improve the blood flow. My back is tight due to work and little exercise, so it feels good when she loosens me up. Her knowledge is extensive and she has an even pressure throughout the massage, which helps with relaxation. The finish with the head massage feels so good and can highly recommend her.

I had some tenderness in a couple areas due to training for a very significant upcoming event, Heather was able to address the issues with perfection and minimal discomfort. Beyond that, I was surprised to find that Heather is a true and profound master of her craft. She obviously has a great depth in terms of skills, wisdom, and experience. I recommend to anyone looking to address pain with a practical and sustainable solution and also for those who seek a spiritual aspect to their healing.

Absolutely amazing massage with Grace! She had such a calming presence, and her technique and pressure were impeccable. I left there feeling so relaxed! I will one hundred percent be booking another massage with her.

Around 7 years ago I sustained a neck and upper back injury that caused me chronic pain and prevented me from returning to my chosen career. Even with medical intervention, I was not able to go a day without muscle spasms and pain. I have been to many massage therapists over the years. Most felt good but did not address the injuries. The last one even made matters worse by causing inflammation so bad that I could hardly move. That is when I found Heather. Heather not only fixed the damage from the last massage therapist, she was able to work out the old injuries. She has a gift for identifying problem areas and I honestly dont know where I would be without her.

Heather was awesome! Great massage to work out the tight spots in my neck and legs. Great studio that is very relaxing and peaceful.

Had a fantastic massage with Angel this weekend. It was arguably one of the best massages I’ve ever had and I would highly recommend going here!! It’s a nice space, very clean, beds were comfy, and staff was nice.

Have had severe migraines and headaches and was told to try massage. Went for myofascial release and craniosacral therapy work in this clinic in Portsmouth, NH and I had instant relief when walking out.

Grace is phenomenal! I mistakenly booked the wrong type of massage and she switched to firm pressure for me. I will be back!
