Dont waste your time with these absolute jokes of human beings. All they care about is charging money and they dont care about anything else as in your experience your experience with the physical practitioners the way that they charge you an arm and a leg for absolutely nothing and the fact that I cant even cancel my membership without coming and driving into their facility which is a 30 minute drive for me to physically cancel my membership for them to stop charging me money. Dont waste your money on this find a local massage therapist that isnt an evil corporation that just wants to take advantage of every single massage therapist they have on their employee roster and take advantage of the community as well

I love the entire staff. Everyone I have encountered is always so friendly and chipper! And every massage I’ve gotten is great. I’ve got to say- the most life-changing massage I’ve had is from Lisa. Perfect pressure of deep tissue. She was able to tackle chronic issues that never get relief and she also released a lot of emotions I’ve been burying in my body.

Love Elements Massage in Portsmouth! I’ve been a membership holder since 2017. They have several locations and are always clean and professional.

Red light is amazing. It helps me with my lupus with my joint pain and minimizes, my flareups, helps me with anxiety. I’m really happy that I decided to try it and I truly recommend it to anybody who wants to better their mind and body!

Donna takes excellent care of her patients. At Elements, the front receptionists are super friendly, and the massage therapists are great listeners. They communicate thoroughly about your desired focus areas and they make sure you are comfortable every time. I love it here!

I am reminded every month how fortunate I am to have found Elements in Portsmouth and my therapist Roxanne. Ive been going to Elements for several years now, and it has become an essential part of my well-being routine. A stressful week is made much easier when an upcoming massage appointment is on the calendar!The staff is always friendly and the studio did a really nice job with the recent remodel. There are few things as reliably joyful, and Roxanne is just so incredibly caring for her clients, and so consistently excellent.

Really take the time to listen to me and hear what my concerns are, the therapist really gave me the experienced based on what was tailored to me. Booking and going over my account is made simple with elements the overall feel is very home like and makes me feel like I belong there! Would 100% recommend to anyone, really made me understand my need for my own wellness path :)

Because they have many massage therapists on staff I never have trouble booking an appointment. Ive had many wonderful massages here- Josh and Andrew have been standouts for me as I love a deep tissue massage. They also provide a lot of great add-ons which Ive enjoyed, such as hot stones, cupping, and CBD massage oil. Text reminders for appointments are also very helpful!

Elements in Portsmouth is WONDERFUL! I didn’t start as a member because I was skeptical about the value, but I am loving my membership. It forces me to take care of myself with at least monthly massage therapy. I have seen several of the therapists and I love all of them so much (Katherine, Josh, Bree, Sunny). They are vigilant about cleanliness and respectful about my personal needs. The front desk advisors are always helpful with recommendations and reminders. SUCH A GREAT VALUE for my personal well-being.

From the moment you walk in, you feel a peace and calmness to get you ready for your massage. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting areas are comfortable and clean. They have a large amount of therapists to choose from, all with different specialties. The massage rooms are very relaxing. My husband and I did a couples massage and both therapists were wonderful. We will definitely be going back in the near future!

Everyone is always so kind and caring, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. All the therapists are amazing and I love having the ability to work with different therapists based on my needs, and that the sessions are customizable to me. Donna did a great job of helping me relax when I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress lately. Front desk staff is wonderful!

First and last visit. They’ll do anything to get you to return, except for give you what you ask for. My first appointment, they called me two hours before the appointment I scheduled with the therapist I asked for and the service I asked for, to tell me there was a family emergency. Fine, understandable. I’m flexible. They gave me a later appointment with a provider who doesn’t do deep tissue work, and I left with the same muscle knots I came in with, and a lighter wallet. I told her my low back was the painful area and she concentrated on my neck. I told her three times the pressure was too light and she didn’t change it at all. Oh while I got changed she had already been up to the desk to tell them that she knew she wasn’t a good fit and had already written down names of other therapists (none available at the time or entire day of the week I am available and one who’s out for surgery) and they kept pressuring me to rebook. They don’t care about being a bad fit, they just want return business. When you go someplace to relax, you shouldn’t have to say, “Can I just pay you and leave now?” Bye, Elements.

I liked the in between waiting area to chill after my massage. The decor is nice and tidy. The receptionist were respectful to my wish to discuss money matters prior to my appointment to I could just savor my experience. The massage therapist was super accommodating and did a fantastic job! I’m looking forward to this kind of self-care on a regular basis!

It had been years since I got a massage and I was a little weary, but the whole experience at Elements made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff is personable and so in tune with your needs and comfort. You can’t go wrong with any of the therapists.

From start to finish the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Working as a hairstylist for 12 years, I’m always looking for the same professionalism I protray, and the front desk staff was excellent! My massage therapist was also amazing. Perfect experience all around. Thanks again.

I had a great experience at Elements! They offer an intro rate for new clients of $69 for a 60-minute massage, which was a great excuse for me to try them out. Sabrina was my masseuse and she did an amazing deep tissue massage. The ambiance was very nice and Sabrina checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure that the pressure was right and see if I had any areas that she should be focusing on. It was very relaxing and I left feeling refreshed. Elements is a chain and I try to stick to smaller Mom and Pop operations, but I was very impressed with them and Im sure Ill be back again.

Matt is excellent and provides amazing customer service. He makes you feel welcome and like youve been visiting for years. I had a wonderful massage by Travis who is great at communicating pressures and guiding through the massage. Would highly recommend this place for outstanding professionalism and quality service!

I started at Elements about 3 years ago to relieve shoulder/neck/back pain due to a car accident. Shout out to Amanda who does an awesome job at working out my knots and is always fun to chat with while still allowing for a relaxing environment. The staff is very friendly and I always feel welcome. I joined the Wellness Program and am SO happy I did! If you dont use your session that month, it rolls over to the next month. The member discount is well worth it. 10/10 recommend

Absolutely awful experience. They gave me a car salesman approach to try to upsell me to a subscription. The therapist gave a lame massage and short-changed the massage time about 10 minutes, came back in the room after I changed and sat down and asked how it was/for feedback. I said pretty much nothing and left. Ill NEVER step foot back in this place and would NOT recommend.

I went today for my first time after advice from multiple people on Facebook, and boy was I impressed. The reception staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable. The place is pristine and has a super calming atmosphere, as soon as you walk in. Of course the best part was the massage. Massages can be awkward... Youre naked with a stranger whos touching you. Today, my session was with a guy named Andrew, and I couldnt be happier. He very gently eased into conversation, and soon enough I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. His hands seemed to focus on the areas of the most pain and tension without me having to say anything. He also was very intuitive. I can handle a generous amount of pain, and he seemed to be able to sense when Id had enough, and would move onto the other side. His comfort and self esteem carried over to me, and I felt okay having areas touched and seen that I normally would not be okay with. After my much needed hour was through, he even gave me a guide of areas that were the worst, and a few stretches to receive my lower back pain. I will definitely be making this a monthly tradition of self love

Went for a couples message and the experience was fantastic! We had Matt and Jesse as our masseurs and they were both phenomenal, they were constantly checking to make sure the pressure was good. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. Everyone was super friendly. Id highly recommend!

Everyone from the front desk staff to my massage therapist was very nice and very communicative. I will definitely be returning they were super easy to book with and they’re open late which works perfect for me because I work until five so if I can fit something in after work I’m all about it.

Their prices continue to rise without notice. In addition to the high cost, most of their providers are elite, which is an additional up-charge. Including tip, every visit is so expensive. My experience is always hit or miss and will likely cancel my membership - prices have gotten out of hand.

This was my first experience with Andrew, as well as with Elements, and it was wonderful. I have a lot of issues surrounding my neck/shoulders/back/hips stemming from health issues and the type of work I do, so Im in constant pain and discomfort. He was able to effectively find and tackle the exact spots I had knots or soreness in without me having to direct him, and in return provided an excellent massage with the deeper pressure I was looking for. Plus hes incredibly sweet & friendly! Id highly recommend him for people looking for someone thats skilled in deep tissue & trigger point therapies to really work out your problem areas.

I had serious calf muscle pain, and in one session with James, I felt so much better. He realigned my whole body, and he even gave me exercises and stretches to help as well. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Elements in Portsmouth for years. They are incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The therapists are caring and quite talented in their skills.

Beginning to end and awesome spa/massage experience. I had Kathy my first time and boy did she have my number. 🤤 James followed next with one of the most integrated balanced massage I’ve ever had! As a therapist myself, I don’t jump easily at using worlds like amazing for just any old massage..they were both amazing and I will Be desperate until I can get back to either of them.

I personally have had struggles with tension in my shoulders for quite some time. I went in to see Jesse to get my first deep tissue massage. It was an incredible experience.Jesse worked with my individual needs and was very good about putting specific attention to the areas we spoke about. In the proceeding days, this is the most relaxed my shoulders have been in a long time. Thank you Jesse! Would highly recommend Jesse to anyone!

The front desk people need a class in customer service. But importantly, the masseuses are very mixed. I have only found one that is worth the money. But what tipped the scale this week is a call from an incompetent person who said I had not paid for the three missed appointments. She had someone elses credit card but accused me of a fake credit card on file! I have been charged many times on a credit card on file. So, where is my credit card pray tell? The assistant manager Tina did not give a darn about this matter which is pressing for me! Life is too short for condescending twits like Tina. This is not customer service. I said to her that one appointment was cancelled over 24 hours in advanced, one I was in the hospital, and one I missed. I have never objected to paying the tip fee. I said I had other appointments scheduled but the incompetent surly and toad of a collections person with wrong information said I did not have any additional appointments. Today I received a call from an incredibly surly rude and mean manager named Tina. I explained my experience to her with the woman about the credit card and appointment and the fact that I could not remember her name. Indeed I felt after personally hiring over 1k people as a CEO of five biomedical companies I have some experience. Tina said it was her job to protect the business and didnt think her people were incompetent. I said to Tina, this is a service business that is supposed to be a relaxing experience for people but it isnt because you set the tone as a caustic, self-engaged, nagging, mean to the customer assistant manager. I reiterated that I want an explanation about my credit card! I canceled all my forward going appointments and never will go back to this place. Not worth it. For every good massage with the one therapist I think is worth it there have been several flaccid useless massages. Just not worth it. Great massage therapists independent without the drama of this truly incompetent manager. She should be fired! She is killing her own business because I will make sure my neighbors and colleagues know how I feel about her and Elements in Portsmouth! Watch your credit card. Dont give it over to Elements!

Tried this place a few times and should have gone with my gut feeling from the start and not gone back. The therapists had their own style and did not accommodate what I was looking for at all. There was a car-sales mentality there b/c they try to sell you something you might not want and its pushy--something I never expected. They try to sell membership and its not much different than one of those tanning places that collect your money out of your bank account every month--even if you dont go. Im sorry I ever went there in the first place and certainly will never go back and would not recommend this place in the slightest. Also, they cut my session short by like 10 minutes and I had to speak up to have the charge pro-rated. Awful experience there.

Phil has a phenomenal flow where he can get in and release knots but make me feel completely relaxed. He uses the right amount of pressure and keeps it consistent throughout the whole session- EVEN when it’s 2 hours! He listens and makes me feel 100% comfortable- even when in a vulnerable state. The Studio as a whole has a fantastic and talented crew working there!

They have a lot of options for therapists and styles of therapy which is fantastic. My only qualm is that an hour massage isnt a full hour. You get 45 min of massage. The therapists are great and the staff has been extremely accommodating so I really cant say anything bad.

They are wonderful! My services are always wonderful and they listen to your needs and responses. I have a lot of old injuries and they always customize my massage to my needs. their COVID safety was easy and effective. I send everyone here!

The massage in itself was great but was promised a price and then had a surprise $20 fee racked on. Pleases that lie to people to get them in the door and then Nickel and dime them after they have received their treatment than a different price than was promised should not be able to be in business in this community. Really unfortunate because the therapists were very nice. Just disappointing.

Very thorough and relaxing prenatal massage. Amy listened to my needs and did an awesome job. Just what I needed at 26 weeks pregnant!

Flexibility and effectiveness! Ive worked with a few different therapists and they all pay close attention to whatever is going on with my body - stress, muscle fatigue, chronic pain issues, etc. - and address it appropriately. I look forward to it every time!

I have had numerous massages throughout my adult life. Every time I go to elements for a massage I leave disappointed and irritated. You ask, why keep going? People give me a GC. That is the only reason I returned this past January. The therapist was sub-par; at the end of the massage sell-a-membership drive is a real relaxation buster and for the prices Elements charges, even as paying members, is comparable to what massage therapists in the area charge. Why go? Next time I will turn down the GC

I made several appointments in a one month span and they called me to make sure everything was correct and I knew what to expect with my first appointment. My massage therapist Travis was very nice and accommodating to my comfort level.

Worth every penny I spend on a membership which is hard to say for other like businesses. I get detailed info about my body and always someone with a specific toolset that caters CORRECTLY to my needs. Yes, big letters on “CORRECTLY”.

One of the worst massages Ive ever had! Therapist name was amber, I asked for deep tissue and all I got was light pressure. She came and got me from the front 7 minutes after 5, and ended the session at 553, I was shorted a full 10 minutes. She also did this constant jaw popping, that was quite annoying. I will not be back

Both times I have been to Elements, the staff is friendly, warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. The therapists are always incredible and have always left me feeling amazing.

Katheryn always asks where my aches and pains are. She works tirelessly to alleviate any issues I might have.

Convenient hours, location and top notch therapists. Matt being by far one of the best deep tissue specialists I’ve ever been lucky enough to see. He’s a keeper!

Andrew is great, very professional and good at getting knots out. Reception is always friendly and scheduling is easy online or over the phone.

The whole experience is very professional from the greeters at the desk to the person that gives the massage . I like that you offer both men and women performing services to accommodate those of us that have preferences .This was my second visit and I enjoyed it very much .

Loved it! Kind of like a Chiropractor visit and a massage at the same time. He taught me how to use my muscles and I learned how to relax them so he could work his magic. I WILL go back.

CORPORATE SLEEZESleezy business practices - don’t sign up for the monthly membership, as they’ll keep charging you for two months after you cancel. The owner is in advertising and is uninterested in wellness (ask anyone who works there).
