Smart Skin Medspa & Salon

It was a Tuesday, I called for a mani pedi... Even though these services are listed on their google page I was told that they dont offer the pedicure but could do my manicure. It is not that hard to update your services. When I asked when they would, I was presented with one excuse after another. It was easy to find another salon and book the appointment. I dont think i will call smart skin medspa and salon again.

Incredibly professional establishment with great management. They offer great massages as well as different fillers and permanent makeup options. Rebecca is fantastic and so good at her job, and Dr. Mangini is great to visit for filler even if you have some anxiety. They have always been kind to me, and I’m happy I found this Medspa near me!

I booked a facial with Madelyn and was happy with her and my results. She explained everything she was doing and what to expect. She has a very soothing voice and the entire experience was thoroughly relaxing. My skin looks and feels hydrated and refreshed.

I have been putting off getting my brows done (nanoblading) for years because I thought they would be too dark or too extreme. If you are even considering this I highly recommend Rebecca. She not only made me feel at ease but customized my brows to my needs and color. She made sure I was happy before I left. I am so glad I had this done!

Kim is absolutely amazing! She cuts my hair exactly the way I like it...she is a true professional!

Wonderful experience here! It was my first time ever having a cosmetic tattoo. I had the Nano Brows done by Felisha and I cant say enough good things about her. She was fantastic! She was thorough and explained the entire process very well. She was clear in everything she did and made me feel at home with her warm personality! Not to mention her work is flawless. I have received multiple compliments already! I felt like I received far more than just having my eyebrows done. The whole experience was pleasant and I will continue to go to Smartskin for my salon and spa needs!

Any service that Felisha offers, GET IT! Everything about her is absolutely amazing! She makes you feel right at home with every step. I had an appointment to get my brows done and I was quite nervous. She killed it! They look so good! I went back and got my eyeliner done. I plan to do more also. Highly highly recommend her!!!!

This was my first visit. The receptionist was welcoming and very nice. I received a hot stone massage by Jenny and it was awesome. I suffer from chronic pain and migraines and this was very relaxing and much needed. I returned a couple weeks later for a customized facial by Angel. I was satisfied with her service as well. I recommend this business and I will return for another massage and facial.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! I made an appointment for ombre brows and I ended up getting the unicorn version instead.Felesha bragged about her training and that she was the only person in the salon skilled to do minority skin. The outcome was atrocious! I traveled several times to the spa and even paid for the touch up, the second time with each time worse than the other. After the fourth time with her trying to correct her inept work,she, texted me and stated that she was booked solid and had the nerve to ask that I pay for the next session.She talks a good game, but doesnt stand behind her work. Ethically, I would have refunded the money, but this trifling woman doesnt have a ethical bone in her body. Furthermore, I dont know why it was so difficult for her to admit that she didnt know what she was doing. As I told her, I learned a valuable lesson about the salon..., the money is more important than the pride in ones work and the satisfaction of the clients. Beware of those who boasts about their skills...Now, I have one decent brow,and the other one looks like a McDonalds arch. This place is pathetic!!!!

Smart skin is beautiful, tranquil, and relaxing. The staff at the desk are always friendly and helpful. Ive been using Jenny for my massages for almost a year now, and she is fantastic! She focuses on all the right spots and works out all the knots I didnt even know I had. Amazing experience every time, and it keeps me coming back for more.

I came in for the Nano Brows with Rebecca and highly RECOMMEND NOT to do this. My eyebrows are terrible not a single hair stroke was made, brows were literally colored in solid, harsh lines, bad shape and color.I called back the next day to review my concerns. During our consultation I asked for nano brows (hair like strokes) which we both agreed on. Today she said the technique done was PIXEL SHADING, which I did NOT ask for or was aware of.Rebecca said she had 20 years of experience, I was told to let it heal (as if magically hair like strokes would appear). I was also told to come back for a touch up in 4 weeks but I decline due to the unqualified/poor skills.I DID NOT ask for this technique. I requested a refund or partial refund for a removal and was denied.Note: My session was 40-50 minutes long for both eyebrows and according to online research, Nano brow sessions are typically 2-3 hours.Please save yourself the trouble and money ($450) on this procedure and find a reputable place.Emergency saline removal was $300 (Aburn, AL). Not including follow ups if needed.In total I lost $750.Nonetheless this is my review and my experience.

Angel was absolutely AMAZING!! Id had so many terrible brazilian experiences prior to seeing her, that I was almost shaking going in for my first appointment. She assured me that I was in good hands and made sure that I was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how seamless my session went. Angel is quick and thorough...in and out in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend her and will forever be her client!

I highly recommend my Skin Care Angel. I am battling hormonal acne and she has literally brought my skin back to LIFE! Angel is very product knowledgeable and attentive to my skin issues and concerns. Give her a try, you won’t be disappointed

Let me tell yall about my new best friend, Ms. Felicia! I made an appointment for microblading and I was super nervous. She came out to the lobby to walk me back to her service room. She made me feel super comfortable by explaining everything that she would be doing. She explained the healing process and what everything will look like. She kept me really comfortable during the process by using the numbing cream as often as necessary. She did a beautiful job mapping out my brows and really enhancing them based on MY face and bone structure. She has a wonderful, welcoming, and dynamic personality and she is very skilled, knowledgeable, and confident in what she does! I absolutely love her! I get so many compliments on my eyebrows and get asked for her information frequently and it hasnt even been a week since I got them done. 😃

Where do I even begin!!! Very professional yet down home feeling of comfort when I walked through the door. Felisha is an amazing lady with talent and an eye for perfection. For years I have struggled with literally a fine line of eyebrows, and pail lips, until today! Words can not explain how proud I am and let me say I hold my head high when out and about after adding pigmentation to brows that boosted my confidence level immediately. I also had the lip blushing completed the same day. Pain level was minimal and Felisha stayed focused on keeping me comfortable. I also had the consultation for Plasma fibroblast so that will be my future procedure. I couldnt ask for better treatment or a cleaner establishment. I will be 48 next month, but that doesnt mean I have to look my age. Give Felisha control and let her do her magic! Ladies we are all beautiful, sometimes we just need a little touch up here and there so we can conquer the task at hand! Thank you truly from my heart Felisha ❤

I just had a massage by Jenny today and she is amazing. I’ve had a lot of massages… I used to be in the industry years ago and was used as a guinea pig when it was slow for training to all kinds of professional ones all I’ve the world even… and I have a ton of problems. She listened and did one of the best, well balanced massages I’ve had! I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Jenny!

My kids gave me a gift certificate to Smart Skin for my birthday. I had never been there, and was a little uneasy about going by myself for the first time. It turned out to be the BEST birthday gift ever! I got a beautiful manicure and pedicure that lasted over 3 weeks! And I absolutely LOVED the relaxing massage!!! Wish I could have one every week. Felisha is the Best ! She’s Honest so very nice and when you leave her you feel like you’ve known her your whole live! Her Work is Incredible! Felisha was amazing! Although it was my very first time getting a Brazilian wax, she made me feel as if I had been there before. She made me feel very comfortable and she was very fast and efficient! My brows were in bad shape. I had no tails and not much on the other end either. I wouldn’t even leave the house without penciling them in. I had them microbladed by Felisha and I was so ecstatic with the result I almost cried! They look so natural! She takes the time to explain the entire process and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole thing. She is passionate about her job and it shows in her work. I cant say enough about how perfect my brows are now! She is a miracle worker! I feel like a brand new woman😂

From the first time I have stepped into smart skin. I have loved getting my hair done. facials and pedicures. The staff is very friendly!!! The main service I use is for my hair. I love going to Smart Skin Spa! The atmosphere is very relaxing. Its always quiet and cool, and the lighting is lowered. There is soft music playing, many times with sounds of the ocean in the background. I usually get a 60 minute massage. Definitely worth your time!

Kim is amazing! She is so personable and does an amazing job with listening to my needs for my hair. I have also used their massage therapy as well. Very professional and a great massage! You must check out this place and all it has to offer.

The staff at Smart Skin are all so helpful. It is always an enjoyable atmosphere. But if you need deep-tissue work I highly recommend Tabitha. She is patient and listens when you explain what areas are causing problems. She changes her technique with each visit to do what is best for you and needed the most. I love that she knows me when I walk in and knows what problems I have without pulling up card. She truly cares which is an awesome feeling. I leave feeling like I have been pampered each visit.

I go to Smart Skin on a regular basis for an invigorating facial experience. Susan makes the recommendation of what is needed to give my skin the best treatment needed. She is a master at her skill and my skin is rejuvenated and healthy again. I most sincerely recommend Smart Skin to anyone interested in a facial to look and feel their best. The cost is not too high and is well worth the price. I will continue with my facials at Smart Skin and I thank them for their professionalism and expertise. I received Combination Brows(Microblading+Microshading) at SmartSkin Salon and Spa by Felisha. She was absolutely wonderful and especially patient. During the process, the mapping was very intimidating for me. My anxiety started to rise as I became very nervous. Felisha was calming and assuring, making sure I was well informed about each step. She was very understanding and listened to what I wanted. She’s so detail oriented and her work speaks for itself! Not only was my service experience superb, Porsche, the receptionist, was welcoming and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Felisha is amazing! I had microblading done and she was so patient and kind! She took her time and made sure I felt at ease. They already look amazing and I am only on day 2. Can’t wait to see how they turn out after the touch up in 4-6 weeks.

Renee did a wonderful job on my nails and the lady with the short blonde hair (sorry Im bad with names) did a wonderful job on my massage. I loved the atmosphere and it was very professional. I was offered a drink and they even walked me to the restroom. I will definitely be here again and recommend to my friends and family. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Had an awesome massage by Nancy for my first visit to Smart Skin MedSpa & Salon. Relaxing atmosphere in the waiting area (very brief wait) to get you ready for your great massage. I love Smart Skin! I frequently use them for basic salon & spa services, and the occasional massage. When I call to make an appointment, I usually am able to get one fairly quickly. The location is great for me, and I love the atmosphere of the historic house its located in. I also love that they email special offers every once in awhile but do not crowd my email inbox. I love this place! I started going to this place back in December and I am already hooked! In just 2 months, I already had a facial and peel (with Ms. Susan) and haircuts (with Ms. Christina). I also started on PCA skincare products ( and loving it as well), and the Moroccan Oil hair care products are awesome!! Customer service is great, the staff are nice and friendly and the price for the services are reasonable ( they always have specials). All the pampering services you will need is conveniently in this one place. I know I will be back again here soon!

As a novice to massage therapy, the Smart Skin staff has made me feel completely comfortable with my entire experience. I love the calming effect that occurs as soon I walk into the waiting room . I would highly recommend this to everyone interested in this type of therapy. I have transitioned from relaxation to orthopedic massages to help with some muscular issues. This will become my apple a day treatment, to keep myself healthy. Actually, my apple a month, daily might be a little extreme. lol

Please stay clear of this business if you’re looking to have your eyebrows serviced by Rebecca. My friend literally was SCAMMED. She was charged a service she did not ask for nor was it discussed, even after talking to Rebecca who stated it was her mistake, she had the audacity to not issue a refund. Such poor ethics and service.

Felicia Seamon did a beautiful job on microblading my brows. It was a very good experience and she was very helpful and well versed in what I was looking for. I used to use Smart Skin when I was 13 years old for my spray tans for pageants and they were always so great! Never orange, never streaky, and never had the weird smell! Now that Im older Ive been using them for my hair. I went from my natural long, black hair to a short, burgundy red and LOVED it! Ive been back to them twice and theyve always delivered great service. I cant wait to book my next appointment!

I really look forward to a relaxing 90 minute massage at the end of a busy work week. Very few things are as comforting as the quiet and soothing music playing in the background while the muscle aches and tension slowly melt away. Great for stress relief as well. I would highly recommend to anyone! Give it a try once, and you will become a repeat customer as I did.

Friendly folks. Beautiful place. Melanie Law cut, colored and highlighted my hair. It was Fabulous!! Shes THE BEST Colorist anywhere around here. I know they do nails but I have never had mine done.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I have been going there for a couple months and plan on another visit very soon. I first started going there because I had a Cherry Angioma right under my eye that couldnt be covered by makeup. I wasnt expecting much to done about, but I am very happy to it WORKED! I dont even have to use makeup for a cover up! I couldnt be happier. The people who work here are so nice and friendly. Just walking in the building is so relaxing and cant wait to try some of their other services!

This place is awesome! The only thing Im sad about is that I didnt discover it sooner. Since I started getting facials from Angel, many people have commented on how bright my skin looks. Ann has done a great job with my hair color. I love going in there too because of the excellent customer service and relaxing atmosphere.

I used to get my hair cut and colored by Kati before she relocated from Auburn to Prattville. I searched for a couple of years in Auburn before finding Kati, and was so relieved to find someone who took the time to listen to why I was unhappy with my hair and help me find a solution. I have always been super pleased with my haircuts by Kati - she takes the time to make sure it is perfect before I get out of the chair, and the cut always grew out very well. Plus, I always enjoyed our conversations. Kati is a very genuine person, and I recommend to give her a shot if you are looking for a new stylist!

I absolutely loved my experience yesterday. I was quite nervous but Felisha made me feel like an old friend. We worked together on shape and color and I am uber pleased with the end result!! She is the bomb yall!!

The ambiance here is amazing. Its in a convenient location but as you drive in the gravel driveway into their wooded parking lot it already feels secluded. The building looks to be a renovated old house. The waiting room is dimly lit, with comfortable seats, magazines, snacks and infused water provided. All of the staff was very friendly. I went in for waxing, but Id love to try some of their more relaxing spa services! I didnt want to leave.

I just moved back to Prattville. I was very nervous about finding a new salon. It’s hard to find salons where the people who work there truly act like they enjoy people. I am so happy that I found Smart Skin Spa in Prattville. I went in this morning with a terrible ingrown toenail; Justice was incredibly sweet and did a wonderful job. I am now pain-free. I love to go into businesses where you feel welcomed. That is so very rare in today’s economy. Smart Skin Spa will have my nail business when I’m in Pville because the ladies that worked there are just that awesome!

This place is by far the only place i would recommend to have a massage, Jenny has the best personality for the job and I walked out feeling like a brand new person.. I am already hinting for new gift certificates for the holidays. You wont be sorry coming here for all your massage needs.

I took care of my 90 yr old mom who had dementia, for years, and never did much for myself. My cousin came to visit from Oregon, and I guess felt sorry for me so she bought me a large gift certificate to Smart Skin Medspa & Salon. Christine, the girl that cut my hair, (which had gotten really long over the years), was soo good at cutting my hair that I told her she was an engineer! When I got home, and washed it, it could almost not have to be fixed because it would just sort of fall into position by itself! I have never, ever had such a good, professional haircut and I am in my 60s! Plus the place is very cute and elegant!Be sure to try it out! Gail Crawford

I asked if I could get my eyebrows done as a walk in but was told they were booked up even though they were empty. Indulgence spa down the road was booked as well but they checked their schedule and offered to set up an appointment at a later date. Smart skin did not check their schedule or offer an appointment at a later date.

Finally! A place that knows how to cut hair properly. The waiting room was so beautiful, and relaxing. (I almost fell asleep in there, because the lights were low and the sounds were peaceful) You are reassured that these people know what they were doing by the decor... and the infused water they had in the waiting room. BEST HAIRCUT I HAD IN 7 YEARS!

Alert! Be very careful purchasing a gift card from this salon. My husband purchased a gift card for me thinking I could use it AT THE SALON for hair appointments. When I tried to pay for my next appointment with the card, I was told I could not use it to pay for my hair cuts/coloring. This was very shocking considering that hair appointments was the only reason I used the salon. 😩. Then I tried to use the card for Botox and was told I could not use the card for Botox either. Because I couldn’t use the card for hair appoints OR Botox, and because I didn’t want to lose the money left on the card, I started getting my nails done. After a couple of months, the only girl who did nails was let go. Bottom line, I have over $300 left on the card and the salon owner just informed me the card has expired and I’ve lost the $300. I tried working with the owner to no avail. Can you imagine being a business and and not accepting your own gift card for services rendered at your business?! Unbelievable! Buyer beware!

You will be pampered & leave very happy! I am a huge fan of their hot stone massages, and swedish massages. Also, they have fabulous facials & great products for purchase! Rebecca & Diane really appreciate & cherish their clients- you will feel like family @ Smart SKin Medspa & Salon! I like to give gift cards to family/friends-their menu is very extensive & offers reasonably priced services.

I love going to Smart Skin MedSpa in Prattville to escape all my stresses and chaos. From the moment I enter the door, my attitude totally changes, even on my worst day. And to top it off, after a wonderful massage, they serve the most refreshing water, diffused with fruits. How can you beat an experience like that?!?!

The mani/pedi experience was wonderful. Before I left I made a standing appointment for the next 6 months. The prices are so reasonable, how could I not plan on treating myself once a month. DO NOT PURCHASE A GIFT CERTIFICATE. My experience here was not very pleasant I didnt feel welcome at all. I was trying to use up what was left of my moms gift certificate she couldnt come because we have sick family members she has to take care of and I couldnt come because I was tied up at work, so I gave my appointment to my friend since they wouldnt let me cancel or reschedule. My friend was baby sitting her younger cousin at the time and they wouldnt allow her to fill my appointment because she had a child with her. I have fseen kids here before so I was very frustrated when they wouldnt give me anything to compensate for the $50 dollars I had left on the certificate. We will not be giving them any more of our buisness!

I really loved my mani and pedi here. The ambiance is so relaxing and I truly enjoyed my experience. Even after two weeks, my gel polish still looks amazing!
