BIG STAR TAVERN

One of the best places I have ever visited and had a drink and played pool. Great food. I even remember seeing them go out of there way to drive a customer that had too much fun home. Even took his vehicle. This place will entertain and shoot the breeze just like you are in your own backyard. Please patron this place if you want to be challenged on the pool table or just need an adult beverage

After a few outings here, this place has quickly become a go to for me since moving to Alabama. Great atmosphere friendly customers and a phenomenal staff that makes you feel welcomed. Ms. Tracia graciously takes care of everyone with an attention to detail that you cant help but to appreciate. 10/10 best local bar Ive been to in quite some time.

Just went for the first time last Saturday night and LOVED IT!

Out of all the bars I have been to this bar was one of the most welcoming bars I have ever been to. The music was awesome and the bar tender (Tracia) serviced Fine Dinning level drinks along with a cheerful attitude (Dont forget to tip) if your looking for a great spot to take a load off this is the one for you. I would give this outstanding bar 6 stars if I could.

I was in town to visit my family from North Carolina so we decided to find something to do for fun.We went to this tavern and had a blast 2 nights in a row . Lol. I don’t go into taverns often due to crowds and smoke.This place was very clean and went vented.The atmosphere was very good.We were there the night the bandWho shot lizzy? What a great time we had.The owners were super nice and professional. Can’t wait to get back to the Big Star.

Very friendly locals dive bar. Service from Christy, the bartender, was great. First visit and we were made to feel right at home in a crowd where everyone seemed to be a regular. Quality sound system for karaoke & some very good singers. A bit loud and smoky for me but my better half really liked it. Well be back.

This family club is amazing, I am not a family member, but let me tell you… Mike and Ashley make me feel like I am home.This Bar is amazing, I am away from home and I truly believe that no matter what I can count on them.Amazing Bar tenders, amazing people and an unbelievable experience.If you are in Prattville you better stop by. This place sets the bar… no pun intended, for any bar in the southern states!

Mike is a great owner. He is like family to everyone there. The bar has live music and welcomes anyone into their establishment. Im not used to bars with smoking in them but this place has it. Thankfully there is a giant smoke filtration system built in that helps reduce the amount of smoke exposure. The alcohol choices are amazing and the atmosphere with pool tables, live music, DJ Karaoke makes this a top establishment in the area! Im glad we found it!

Big Star Tavern is a fun place to go to for live music and karaoke. They host pool tournaments during the week. Great drink specials. Awesome bar tenders. Cleanest bathrooms. This is my favorite place to enjoy a cold beer or drinks with friends.

This place is racist!! Im from out of town. Came here to have a good time. Took a shot before I came in, and the lady called her boss and told us we couldnt drink in the parking lot, locked the door and wouldnt let us in. Stay away!!

Was a great place until you find out how toxic the environment is. Cant go to the owners for help, theyll turn on you and make accusations. They preach family, yes theyve done a lot for some people, but when the chips are down, you get thrown to the wolves.

Fun, Low-key, laid back, relaxed atmosphere.... Great place to enjoy hanging with friend, singing karaoke, playing pool, or just simply sitting at the bar having a drink!!!Really LIVELY when you go for your birthday or celebrating an occasion😜... The staff is great and no matter who you are, you are always greeted and welcomed with that sweet Alabama southern charm!!!

This is a great local bar. I have been going there off and on for the last 5 years. There are a lot of good people who frequent this establishment. And the owners? Just great people.

I have been going to the Big Star Tavern for a couple of years now and Ive never met a more friendly group of people than I have at the Big Star Tavern. The owner Mike Moore and Ms Ashley his wife are the perfect host and hostess for a very pleasant and exciting time of fun.

The owners are great people. They will help you in anyway they can. Its a good place to go have a good time and dont have to worry about nothing. I have enjoyed this place in the past,but tonight is the last time Ill be visiting.First thing is one or our companions had there wallet taken,and on the information from a rather wasted old man my friend and I were pleasantly accused of the theaft.After the owners wife performed an imprompt to investigation which was a drunken repeat of the detective work already performed by drunk guy and bartender.she tells me she recognizes me and that Im the guy who last year cleaned off the change on the pool tables and left and that I was avtheif then and now.She was not mistaken but she is a liar,but she asked me to leave when I pointed that out.I remember exactly the night she is thinking of and just so she knows yes I did take 3 dollars in quarters off your table.I had put them there for my friends and I to play but when no one wanted to play anymore I took MY MONEY and put it back in my pocket. So with that said the wallet was found the video is supossed to be viewed Im the morning and you can keep any apology for the next chapter of Im drunk and I figured it out Mike thanks for always being a gracious host. Im sorry if I insulted your wife, but she most definitely insulted me and Please make it known to all parties involved exactly who took My friends wallet.

I have to say to not be a native of this area I have not experienced anything but open arms a shoulder to cry on Good Times and really some great people !!!! Mike Moore Miss Liz Miss Julie mr. ketchup have done nothing but been good to me and supportive to me !!! I think God to have people like this in my life !!!! That did not have to be good or kind to me but have been because thats just the people they are !!! I have to say if you have never been to big star then you are truly missing out !!!

Pool tournament on Wednesday and Thursday night. Great atmosphere, everyone is friendly and you can sing your favorite songs on stage whenever you like.

Had a good time the band was awesome. A little crowded at the bar area hard to get drinks a server would be a great addition to the business.
