I had Lipo/bbl on November 1st and was informed by my surgeon that lymphatic massages would be beneficial. I reached out to Mayara, as my medical team referred me to her and she was the only massage therapist that traveled to my home. Mayara responded to my email almost immediately, and even did my massage that day. This was the day after my surgery and I could barely move. She explained that it wouldn’t be painful and that the lymphatic drainage would actually make me feel better. Mayara was on time and was very respectful to me and my home. As a RN I did my research prior to having my plastic surgery- I knew I needed to have someone knowledgeable in lymphatic drainage/massage in order to optimize my results.Mayara was everything and more. Had my surgery on July 6th and a week later at the insistence of my doctor I had my first lymphatic drainage with Mayara and am so glad I did. In the past few weeks I’ve had 3 lymphatic drainage sessions. Her studio is clean, and comfortable. I felt totally relaxed and cared for by Mayara. I’m happy to say after the third lymphatic drainage session, a considerable amount of fluid has drained out of my body. It has also helped with the bruising, she used a laser for that. This woman saved the day for me!!! When the post op massage business I booked with failed me and left me with no one , She came to my home at 6:40pm to provide me lymphatic drainage. The very next morning she checked in on me and then two days later checked in again to ensure I didn’t need drainage before our next appointment .
