We had very old and expired gift cards and the staff did their best to get the system to accept them,even getting the franchise owner involved. The massage itself was wonderful and worked out several knots.

I visited today for a facial with Kelsey as a birthday gift to myself. Upon arrival Jasmine greeted me and I completed a clinic intake form to address my skincare concerns and medical history. Kelsey was punctual and escorted me back to the spa suites. I had a early appointment so the spa was very peaceful and quiet. I really enjoyed the products Kelsey used and felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after. Extractions were a breeze for my pores with the new electric tool she used. I’ve always had extractions done by hand with q-tips. The neck and shoulder pressure was perfect. I did not want to leave the spa table ! I’m looking forward to my next appointment and will be booking with a masseuse as well. Jasmine was friendly and helped me with signing up for a membership. Self love is self care folks !

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I called to cancel an appointment at this location and was told not to worry the appointment is cancelled. I was then called about ten minutes after the cancelled appointment start time by a representative asking if I was still coming. I explained that I cancelled the appointment… with them directly. The representative then joked saying I would lose one session but still have a lot so it doesn’t matter. I explained to the representative that a session is money I paid for and that I cancelled, to which they acknowledged. The location refuses to refund the session. They also shared a plethora of false information about my account, telling me that there is no way to cancel a membership (without explaining that they did not update my home location during the same call to create the cancelled appointment), telling me that every 12 months a membership renews (completely contradicting what they just said), informing me that every session comes with an additional $15 charge with no explanation, and the list goes on. If you’re looking to get robbed and get the run around, this is the exact location for you.

Came down to RALEIGH for a wedding and decided to stay for the week. While here. I decided to treat my wife to a massage. We already use Massage Envy in NY, so I decided to try them here. I visited the location in 3201 Edwards Mill Rd. I booked an early appointment with Laura. My wife came out with a smile from cheek to cheek. She said Laura was so amazing, that she booked an appointment for me the next day. I have to agree Laura has been the best masseuse we have been with in a long time. We wish she was in NY. Thanks Laura!

Several of my therapists at this location have cancelled my sessions, some on the same day, and the receptionists don’t even contact me and try to offer a different therapist or offer to reschedule me. But when I have an emergency and can’t make my appointment , not only do they still take my accrued session, they charge me for the enhancement I was going to have, claiming “it was already prepared”. It’s just bio freeze that they have sitting on the shelf. If I wasn’t there, it shouldn’t have been used. Terrible policies.

I waited to write this review because of how upset I was by my entire experience. I wanted to offer helpful feedback when I felt calmer. That said, I would NOT recommend this location.Good customer service is a non-negotiable requirement for any person or establishment I spend my money at. The ‘customer service’ at this Crabtree Valley location is sorely lacking (very superficial and transient). You ruined someone’s birthday. Own that and try your best to fix your error.I went to Massage Envy at Crabtree Valley for the first time in December 2022. My first massage was great. Deep pressure as I requested. In fact I loved it so much I signed up for the membership on the spot. Fast forward to two months later. I schedule a total body stretch and massage for my birthday in Feb. While on my way to the appointment I received a call that the body stretch couldn’t be done. It was a scheduling error they just discovered and the person who does that wasn’t available. I was very annoyed but went ahead with the massage. It was the same masseuse I used before that made me want to get the membership. This time though the massage was weak and very disappointing even though I requested deep tissue. Thinking the person was just having a bad day I scheduled a facial and massage for my mom for the following week. I didn’t tell her about my disappointing experience the week prior. When I picked her up she told me that her massage was not good. Not the pressure she requested.I calmly want inside to complain about this and my experience the week prior for my birthday. The person at the front desk couldn’t care less.I was really upset because not only was my birthday experience ruined but so was my mom’s.I calmly asked for a manager, and she said she was the manager. She offered an aromatherapy supplement free of charge for the next time but it was apparent she really didn’t care . Are you kidding me?!I wanted to cancel my membership after this but she said I couldn’t and moved on with what she was doing.

I had a great experience at this Massage Envy location. I pulled something in my neck while traveling and could not turn my head to the right at all. They were able to get me in for a last minute appointment with Allie and she is a miracle worker! By the end of the massage I had much more mobility in my neck and 2 days later I am completely pain free! Thank you, Allie!

The massage therapist was great. But this building has paper thin walls. I wasn’t able to relax at all during my massage because the person in the room next to me was talking the ENTIRE 90 minutes. I was not even compensated or given a discount for the inconvenience. I will be avoiding all chain Massage Envy’s going forward.

Elizabeth A. is an amazing masseuse. My 90 minute deep tissue massage was fantastic. As a larger man, I find that many masseuses can’t provide me firm enough pressure. This is NOT a problem with Elizabeth A. Her touch is powerful and therapeutic.

Phenomenal! From beginning to end the customer service was exceptional. The front desk receptionist Ana was so informative and sweet! She offered us neck warmers with aromatherapy while we signed in. After conversing back and forth, she asked what brought us in to which we replied, “Birthday’s!” She then offered us a complementary hypertension add on massage as a birthday treat!Our massage therapists were nothing short of amazing! My therapist Alex made sure to thoroughly massage out all of my kinks...without me having to mention a thing! I highly recommend booking your next appointment with her. Overall, we were so pleased! My sister loved her experience so much that she will be joining the Massage Envy Club this week!!Thank you Massage Envy at CrabTree Valley! We loved our experience!

Worst massage I ever had, the massage therapist didnt have an ounce of care, never asked me for my preference on pressure or if the massage was okay at any point, and was coughing the entire time. I left feeling more tense and in pain. its extremely disappointing since I took the day off to get a massage on my birthday.

If youre going to have a massage experience this is definitely the place for you. They have really great therapists! My experience with Kristen has always been fantastic! I need a regular massage as part of my treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Kristen is very knowledgeable about physiology, pressure points, and different massage techniques that are most beneficial to alleviate the RA pain and stiffness. Well worth the money and very highly recommended. I could not live without them and Kristen!

I had a fantastic experience at Massage Envy. I always enjoy it when I go, but today was special! My massage with Clay was spot on! He was very personable and my muscles feel great! I then had an amazing facial with Jessica. She took a great amount of care with my microdermabrasion and high frequency treatment. She even had a recommendation for a new skin care product line to help me combat maskne. :D

Terrible customer service. Take your business anywhere else.When making a couples appointment for my girlfriend and I the receptionist reminded me of the cancellation policy. Failure to provide 24 hours notice of cancellation or failure to show will result in your credit card being charged the full amount. I was also called and reminded of this policy via phone calls twice in the past three days. They subsequently cancelled on me with 6 hours notice. No effort was made by the therapist to have someone cover her shift and the business was fine with this lack of professionalism. The rationale for the cancellation was changed between the original 10am phone call and my conversation with the manager, Ashley, 7 hours later. Furthermore, Ashley was confrontational and rude on the phone while discussing the lack of policy reciprocity. I felt like she was trying to make me angry and wanted bad reviews.There are lots of other businesses that offer the same services. Go to any of those before you consider Massage Envy Crabtree Valley.

Usually I have a great experience. But today didn’t go well. When I walked in, I saw one therapist who had previously performed a massage service for me standing at the desk talking to the front end receptionist. She said oh yea you said you were coming back and didn’t. I said yes some things came up. She said “Well when my clients leave I don’t go looking for them.” Okay. I was thinking why do you have an attitude with me? That didn’t put me in a great mood for my facial.My facial was good, but as always the products were pushed on me for purchase. I didn’t buy because the products I use at home are just fine and were recommended by a another esthetician.I will go back but not to either one of them. Like I said, the location is usually very professional.

My husband and I had both massage sessions in advance. They ended January 6th. He called yesterday to set up and appointment just to be told we lost all our remaining session. We have called earlier in the week on numerous occasions just to be told there was no one available or the one time we went and used whomever they gave us was horrible.The situation at hand is I broke my arm and had surgery in Dec. so for medical reasons I was not able to have the services completed.My husband was sick with stomach flu and had to be given fluids and a week later he had the flu that put him in the hospital for a day for fluids and testing.I have medical documentation to show.The answer he got was no to the unused sessions but they could charge his credit card the sixth of every month.Poor customer service and rude front end person.Will not be going back again even though Latasha is a great therapist.I strongly dislike when you pay for something and then can’t use it.

I will NEVER go here again!Ive had numerous massages over the past few years at different places and I have NEVER had such a cruel experience.She asked what areas I wanted worked on I said my legs and lower back. And that I want light pressure.The massage starts off with blasting a fan facing her and I. I get cold quick but because I was pretty warm from the heat outside I was okay with it. But it seemed it didnt matter what I would have wanted as she stated as she turned it on I cant work in heat so I need a fan.She begins working on my legs and it HURT so bad at first, I jumped. She asked if it was too much pressure and I said yes it was. I know my body is quite tense at times and I have SOME knots so I let her work them out.AS the massage goes on she asked again about the pressure. I told her its too much. And then another time I informed her again it was too much.She worked on the left side of my back (hurt). Got to my right (which on my sheet I wrote and told her about shoulder blade damage Im now going to physical therapy for) she worked and worked on it. And I told her it was a lot of pressure. But she assured me she was just having trouble getting a knot out.It got to the point that I was profusely sweating from nervousness/pain. Good thing she had a fan blasting on us!I stopped saying to use less pressure because after she was done on an area it felt okay. So when she asked, I said yes its fine.I get home, and I have dents under my knee caps. Turns out its from damage to cartilage! My feet are throbbing in pain. My shoulder blade feels different, I cant tell if its a good different or bad. Guess Ill let my physical therapist determine that this week! (My PT confirmed that more damage had been done!)I went here because my sister got me a gift card to use to de-stress after having my baby. I gave birth naturally and I could do that all day, everyday. But this massage…dont make me go there ever again. You couldnt pay me to. THAT massage. THAT HURT!!!

I loved my esthitician Ms. Lauren and my masseuse Kevin. I initially enjoyed being a member here but after about a year, the establishment in general got sloppy. Kevin left. Some of the front desk staff were rude and one was even smoking a cigarette out front with her boyfriend. One guy who started doing my massages began starting my appointments late. After some time Ms. Lauren was the only reason I was still coming. They usually send a survey after each visit. I gave them one negative review because of a front desk person. After that one negative review they stopped sending me surveys. Soon after that I ended my month to month membership. But if you go, get Ms. Lauren as your esthitician. Shes amazing!

This location is where I found my favorite therapist, Rachel. She is intelligent, accommodating and always pleasant. I’ve always had a good experience with her the staff here for over a year. I see some negative reviews, but just remember...therapists may come and go and management/staff may change at any location, so if you don’t have a great experience, you can always try another location. I’ve been a member for 2 yrs and booked at many Envys in the area and I’m glad I did because it led me to find my ideal therapist. Thank you Rachel, and to the staff & management.

I have been a member here for over a year and prior to that I would come a couple times a year for many years (basically since they opened) and I have to say first of all that I have really never had a bad massage here. Gregory’s massage skills are great but he is also fantastic with facials. I told them I needed a “skin nerd” and he’s who they gave me and I am really grateful! He and I have similar skin too I think so he is particularly knowledgeable about what works for me.I can’t say enough about how awesome Joe is! He is very attentive with the brief so you can guarantee if you tell him what’s bothering you that he’ll have ideas and the ability to address it.

My husband and I go monthly for a couples massage. We know all about the cancellation policy. However, today on the way we had time to kill so we stopped and did some shopping. We were in a fender bender in a private parking lot and had to wait for police to arrive. I called 20 to 25 minutes in advance to let them know of our emergency situation that had just happened. After pausing for a moment, l was once again reminded that unless they could fill our spot we would owe HALF the payment. REALLY! We did not ask for this to happen. We arent cancelling for a random reason and were on the way. Maybe you should rethink that policy and take emergency situations into account. If you care about your clients at all you would.

Ive used massage envy often, for over 2 years as a member. Not sure if ive ever canceled before. I have several months backed up from my membership. I scheduled a massage late in the evening for the following day. Unfortunately I had to cancel to make an emergency trip out of town. I called 8 hours in Dvance. Apparently they have to charge me as the individual on the phone put it. I understand it if I no showed, or even if I canceled within an hour. But the appointment hD not even been made for 24 hours, how is it possible to adhere to a 24hour cancelation policy? I would even understand if I were repeatedly late or canceling multiple times.To beat it all the individual kept calling me maam and couldnt tell me how much they were going to charge me. They werent sure.Way to treat a loyal paying customer in an emergency.I

I went for a facial and a massage while on a business trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure I was comfortable while I was waiting. The aesthetician was amazing (thank you Cameron) and I wouldve preferred a 90 minute session with her rather than my massage therapist. I couldve given a better massage than whatever therapist I had that day. I wanted to go back for a facial that week, but got sick. I wouldnt go back for a massage, though.

I made a reservation for my first facial with Massage Envy. I was excited when the company announced having estheticians. As a fellow esthetician, I was extremely satisfied with my 60-minute enzyme facial and some extractions with Juliana. She did a great job and I was very relaxed, which is usually a challenge to do. Not one thing was awkward about the service and or talking with her. I highly recommend seeing her and I will be back! Thank you!

I was going to cancel my membership but after a visit here in an effort to use up my time I have decided to stay on and make this my new home. I left a $50 tip and shared this this story with both my therapist and the front desk. My wife said her’s was just ok but her therapist was super nice to her which balanced it out.So I give 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Out of 5 and my wife only 3.9 out of 5. We both thought the staff were totally on their game. Friendly, courteous, smiling, and all looked amazing and professional.We both give the front desk 5 out of 5.Not mentioning names just because I like keeping a good thing a secret however I believe many will know soon enough. I’ll be booking again immediately per my schedule ❣️

I recently started to see Amber for facials and she has kept my skin looking beautiful throughout my entire pregnancy. You can tell she is really passionate and knows her products. My poor experience is with the membership. Membership was frozen after freeze period no contact that they would be reinstating charges. Charged an expired credit card. Called for refund and just not friendly. They did end up issuing refund. This is not the first time I have had membership issues. Use a prepaid credit card so easy to block and cancel on your end.

Paid a $49.99 introductory rate for a massage which consisted of nothing but elbows jabbing into my body. I asked the massage therapist at one point to stop what she was doing because she was hurting me and she disregarded my concerns. Reported my concerns to the manager who proceeded to criticize me for not showing up to a prior appointment and would not compensate me in any way. Terrible place!!

Im in such agony, that I have to have help getting in and out of bed as well as getting dressed. I went here to get relief. The guy barely worked on the spots that were hurting me. I told him the other spots hurt when he rubbed hard, and that it was my neck and shoulder that hurt, hoping he would work on those spots. He, instead, worked on other areas (some which I clearly marked NO for). Instead of helping me with my muscle spasm, he proceeded to focus on my lower back and butt. No man should be grabbing my butt like that except my husband. Period. He said I would need to schedule more time to have the problem areas fixed.....nice try. When I checked out, I told the lady that I wasnt any better. She knocked some money off, which was nice, but still not satisfying.I got out of there as fast as I could, and decided to called to let them know how uncomfortable I was so that they could coach this guy on how to do better. They said if I choose to come back, I can have a free upgrade. Def.not coming back. I paid some guy to basically grope me up. Now i have to spend more money getting someone to actually fix this. I am so upset.
