Mojito Lounge

Ive been around to many nightclubs in the area and there is no spot like this one. Good ambience, good sound and lighting, excellent customer service and over all a great nightclub. Ive taken my family and weve had a blast. I highly recommend this venue.

The absolute worse club experience I’ve ever had. $25 to get in and once inside you couldn’t even move. The security kept telling you to keep moving, the bottle service pushed by you. I couldn’t even get to the bar, I literally walked out after 15 min. The photo shows them letting people in while inside was still packed

Tried going here last night around 10:00 with my girlfriend. Walked up to the door and there was absolutely no line at all. The security woman at the door checked my girls ID then said she has to search her purse which was wristlet size. She meticulously searched this small purse for minutes not sure what she was going to find in there other than some lip gloss and credit cards. Then the guy had to flash his flashlight on the purse as she’s still searching.Said security woman then says, “I have to pat you down”.I’m sorry what? We look at each other and immediately we’re like okay, “let’s go somewhere else”.NEVER have I tried to get into a bar with NO line and been asked to get patted down after you just searched a purse for five minutes. We’re two women in our thirties, I’m not sure what you could have possibly thought we had on us.It was a BIT excessive and uncalled for honestly. But that’s okay. We will gladly take our business elsewhere.Never will I try coming back to this place after that.

THIEVES!!!!! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! 2 different times and both times they took my card to swipe and overcharged me, my bank account showed almost double of what they vocally said the total was, one of the girl bartender charged me $12 for two bottled waters, one of the guys swiped my card and charged me $34 for 1 vodka and redbull. I have been calling, texting, e-mailing for 4 days and I never got not one response from them, I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here.. they’re all rude, people inside look at you like you don’t belong there, if you look at either direction everybody is ready to fight you for no reason… people get mad if you touch them but you can’t even move side to side, that’s how crowded it is on a Thursday night… my main issue is they are thieves and I stand by it.

Went to this club last night, no line $20 to get in, good music etc but the Chinese lady bartender.. Chile when it was time to pay for my drink, we skipped the tip, which could’ve been paid in CASH but this women puts my friend card on the counter while her hand was out. RUDE AS WOMAN. & I got finessed for my umbrella because the staff took it at the door didn’t watch what they took & someone stole it. WOW

I dont like writing reviews, but I need to say this. First off my friends and I get in the line and the bouncers were very aggressive towards us. They refused to let my friend bring her bag in because it was too big and it was the policy. My friend has asthma so I had to take her inhaler with me. When we get in the cover fee is $20 and we were about to leave but the owner stopped us and we only had to pay $5 which is fine. I appreciate the owner for reducing the cover price. Skip to 1 pm, my friend does not feel well (nauseous). My friend is sitting down and begins to throw up. She has a trash can in front of her and she was being quiet. The bouncer, who saw us sitting there, said if your friend doesnt stop puking you need to leave. I didnt appreciate the bouncer being rude to us and kicking us out. I told the bouncer my friend is fine, she needs to sit down until she feels better. He then proceeded to say, I dont care you need to leave its policy. I told him to please leave us alone because we are minding our business and we dont appreciate the hostility. He then saids, Im trying to not lose my patience with you, but your not listening to me and you need to leave. At this point I was very frustrated and appalled. He was very threatening and I did not feel comfortable at all, especially for my friends safety. We will not be going back after this incident.

Cover was to expensive for experience. Also music was so loud you had to scream for the bartender to hear you. Had more staff standing around and in the way than customers. No place to eat inside without paying for it. Management needs to overlook what type of service they are trying to provide.

Super nice staff, but the ten dollar cover I feel drove people away. Remove the cover and charge higher for signature drinks.Lots of bachata, no salsa.Speakers were too loud around the bar that the bartenders could not hear what you were ordering. This place could be a sweet place to dance but definitely needs work on lighting and sound. I’ll try again another day.

Ive had some bad experiences at mojitos but ive also had a lot of fun. only go if youre ready to get liquor spilled all over you, pushed around, and overcharged for everything including cover and drinks. and whoever the woman bartender is that works saturday nights that has the long hair and stank face is the worst. she ignores every single woman at the bar and will look you in your face and serve every man around you. and thats happened to me every time ive gone. until another bartender comes over, you have to wait at least 15 minutes before shell even look at you. ive been a bartender and her bar etiquette and attitude are disgusting. but the men behind the bar are quick and make good drinks. music is alright, the speakers were going in and out, u rly have to be drunk to enjoy this spot at all but if you are drunk and have money to waste then its fun.

I’ve been to Mojitos before COVID and had great music to dance to and a reasonable cover. I went a couple weekends ago and it was packed, music was unbelievably loud, and the bartender (a girl with long black hair) was so rude and literally rolled her eyes when we ordered because we typed it on our phone (like everyone else was doing because it was to loud to hear). Needless to say we got our drinks, finished them and got the hell out because you could not even move a few feet from the bar without getting shoved and getting your drink spilled . I hope something changes because it used to be such a fun place on Glenwood to dance and listen to Latin music.

The bottle girl stole my phone and denied everything when confronted. The next day the location pinned at the lounge and a officer was there and so was the bottle girl and said she wasn’t even working that night. The guy that took me out for accusing her had cut my face too

The music was good. The service at the club was mediocre and the bouncer/security are aggressive and biased. Compared to other clubs and lounges in Raleigh this place is horrible. However since they play Latin/Reggaeton they will always have a niche crowd.

I would not recommend coming here as a woman of color. Head of security does not do his job and will blame you for a negative and unsafe encounter with a male patron. If you want to drink and have fun as a woman, thats fine. I would just recommend coming with at least one male in the group because security will not help you if you feel unsafe.

I’m giving this place one star to be able to write a review if I could give it zero stars I would. My nephew who is 21 went to this club for the first time with his cousin who’s 20 he paid 20 dollars to get in and for her they made her pay 60 dollars because she wasn’t 21, also everyone was getting pushed around like crazy. People were rude unprofessional and it was overall a terrible experience I wouldn’t recommend going to the club ever.

Entry to Drinks all over priced for what the club offers The Asian lady behind the bar is rude and seems like she hates her job and people. I tried to give this place a couple chances but disappointed every time.

One of the worst clubs in the area. The DJ is probably one of the worst ones with songs out of sync and talking too much. I paid $25 dollar cover fee that the person in front made up. They had a lot of people with IDs on their phones as if they were legit. I swear please stay away from this place. The drink are extremely expensive and you will get nothing for your money. I will not be coming back. The worst club I been to.

It was $30 Bucks to go in, I come from a city where clubs are lit and at at $30 bucks i expected to be more fancy. this club was trash so packed you can’t even dance. And a lot of fights. not a place I would recommend to have a fun night.

So, I understand you’re over charging after 1am, and I’m ok with that. The owner, while heading out thru the dark hallway said $50 per person. I said fine, $50 for this special occasion during my gf’s graduation, no problem. It was 3 of us so times $50 = $150. So why TF am I being charged $210? If you’re gonna over charge late nights, at least have the decency to keep your word. At this very moment I’m disputing the charge and I WILL get my money back.

Yesterday was the first and last time I go to this please, I ask for two vokad with pineapple and the bartender didn’t want to give me a recipe when I asked him, and now I just checked my bank account and they charge me $32 for two small drink that we left at the bar because they were horrible. We will never come back to these place again.

Wasnt that good. starting with the drinks. they were not very good at all. DJ had a good selection of music, however; he would change the song every 20 seconds. As soon as you got into the song it was changed. Then to top it all off $10 coverage charge. Dont mind paying a coverage charge for a good time. But this was all but that.

Hell no never coming back music is so loud you yell at each other, 15$ at the door , drinks were too exspensive place was tiny like dancing in a shoe box. I left quickly and walked to alchemy which was free to enter and was way more fun.

This place is the ghetto. So exclusive for literally no reason, overpriced garbage. Mojitos Raleigh makes Ambis night club seem like a luxe night club. No liquor selection, music is absolutely trash and the cover fee is ridiculous. ustedes son basura.

I stopped in the Mojito lounge for a drink that turned into many. Had a great time and left my card there the night before i went out of town. I emailed them and got a response in 4 min that they would hold it for me while i was away. I was very impressed with their response time, and when i went to pick up the card nearly a week later.. i was happy to have another drink. Great spot with a nice staff.

Everyone who works here is so rude. The cover was $20 per person to get into an empty club at 1am. They try to be a pretentious “VIP experience” but don’t have the quality of service to deliver on that. It was really disappointing since I very much wanted to like this place.

Great little spot that offers bottle service, has nice bartenders and plays Spanish music, a little expensive but what hasn’t been expensive that had a nice crowd.

Coming from Downtown Los Angeles going out on a saturday night sucked! NC is nothing compared to what I’m used too! I just found this place bar/club! So far my favorite! Music is good! It gets packed but i definitely recommend it!!

Im white. I went in there on August 5th. Everyone was so mad and prejudice because we were dancing and having more fun than they were. Trust me. You dont wanna go there unless you are hispanic or a simp

Worst mojito you will ever have but the place is very live with great music usually. It used to be 10 at the door now its 25 saturday nights. More of a place to go dance and have fun then to go trying drinks. Just drink to get drunk you wont know how they taste later

Bartender geld my credit card ransom and refused to give it back.. After asking all 3 female bartenders for my card they asked me what a tab was and that noone left their card. After calling over the bartender who started my tab told me to calm down or i wouldnt get my cars back.. Female bartender tried to over charge me for 2 drinks.. Luckily my card still said 23 so she reluctantly cancelled it.horrible time great dancing but the staff sucks

Rude and unprofessional staff. They charged my date but not me, only for us to go into the club and discovery a raggedy establishment with boring vibes. How are there NO customers at all on a Friday night? I can’t. I want to give it a zero but I can’t, so I give it a one.

Only place around this area that charges $20 cover fee. Step in and walked right out. Girls upfront are Rude. There are other places in the same area that are way better

Am a customer of this place since they open, and it used to be great, not any more, this past weekend$20 cover charge, drinks are too expensive, bar tender asked me if i was leaving a tip signaling to the tip jar, place got to small and you cant event dance without getting hit, you dress nice and you come out looking like a construction worker, security doesn’t do their job but to act like very bossy, Djs are good, but not a great place to hang out no more.. too small too crowded and bad service.

I was here briefly with a group of friends. Had mojitos, long islands and tequilas. Drinks were very good, the music was awesome because it catered to everyone in there. Fun place to go to 💃🏻

I think the lady charged me too much for my drinks. Usually at any bar a rum and pineapple is $7, this bartender charged me $24 for two rum and pineapples..: wth

Over crowded, they did not care how many people came in just as long as they get their $20 cover. We had no room to move. Over priced drinks.

Its a good place, for those of us who like reggaeton, they play old reggaeton!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!I understand that they mix other types of music because all types of people go there, it is good to socialize with everyone; So it is widely recommended, the place is small but its location is good, you can easily find where to park.

A supremely UNSAFE place. Admission costs 10 dollars. Everyone pays 10 dollars and they steal your belongings inside. You havent finished drinking your drinks and the waitresses take your unfinished drinks when you are on the track. I went with my family to celebrate a special date and the surprise: they ended up stealing an iPhone cell phone. It all happened when the orchestra they brought played.

Good vibe, clean, cool music, the only problem I have is space. Every time Ive gone I cant even dance without bumping into someone, there arent many tablesThis would be the perfect club if it was the size of Ambis with more room to breathe

Last night we were with a group of friends, enjoying a good salsa band, but the night was ruined the moment we went out dancing and someone came and stole a cell phone that we had on the table, at first I asked the doormen and waitresses for the manager of the place and none of them gave me a reason, they claimed that they did not know who or who they were, they recommended that I go to complain to the DJ, I asked them again about the manager and they told me that they did not know him, I headed towards the bar where I insisted for a long time and finally a couple helped me and we saw on the cameras the moment in which my phone was stolen. I strongly ask you to publish this video to identify this criminal who apparently frequents this place quite a bit, and in this way clear up the doubts and disappointment that our first visit to Mojitos left us with.

Excellent place, just what Raleigh needed, a quiet and safe place to enjoy with friends and family, by the way very impressive as they can be one of the most difficult drinks for a disco, the Mojito is excellent, many people do not know that this is the only one night place apart from those restaurants that want to pass themselves off as nightclubs that serve Mojito, good luck and I hope to return soon 👍🏼👍🏼

A super fun place since I went the first time, I always go to mojito to celebrate special dates and share with my friends. They have always given me very good attention from the waitresses, bartenders and security, it is a place that I recommend to everyone. raleigh so you can go enjoy a very different party THANK YOU I RECOMMEND YOU!!!

They are called mojito lounge and they cant prepare an original mojito? Pure mojito mix... your throat burns with that thing, gentlemen. Cmon, get it together. The music and atmosphere are phenomenal!

I dont recommend this place. $25 for entry, theyre crazy, they charge as if the place were exclusive and its not good at all. The drinks are very bad and if you leave you cant get in. Its crazy.

I was thinking of going to this place but they talk so badly about it, they say they rob you; that even the waitresses charge you for what you have not consumed, suggestion for the owners, take care of your customers, remember that they live off the customer
