We just spent 2 nights at the Hummingbird Inn for our anniversary. It was recommended to us by friends and we found a coupon online. The good: it is impeccably clean. The room was really fantasticly clean, nice linens, very comfortable bed. The view is beautiful. It is very secluded and quiet. The bad: the amenities/supplies were bare minimum at best. We found this on a bed and breakfast website, but there was no breakfast as we have experienced (and expect) from a bed and breakfast (ie everyone comes to a shared space and eats a nice breakfast). For the 2 days there were 4 bottles of juice, 2 packages of instant oatmeal, 2 yogurts, and 2 mini muffins available in our room. There was a coffee maker with single serve coffee packets, but only 2 disposable coffee cups, so no coffee on day 2. No creamers. There was also hot cocoa mix, but no cup to make it in. There were towels but no wash rags. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower but only 1 bar of soap to share between the 2 sinks and the shower. There was a kitchen in the shared space but no refrigerator and the cabinets were used for storage. No where to get ice. Its a 15 minute drive to any restaurants or stores. Its hard to fully enjoy the atmosphere when you have to leave to get coffee or breakfast or ice water or a meal. The airbnb description lists several amenities like sauna, gym, etc but there are no instructions anywhere to find these things. We finally found that all of these have extra fees on the website. $15 for WIFI seems pretty steep on a room at this price. $40 for 2 people to roast marshmallows.Very clean room in a peaceful, beautiful setting with barely bare minimum supplies. If this is your expectation, you will be pleased.
This place is absolutely amazing. Hollie, Chris, and their girls hosted our wedding here and made sure every detail was 100% perfect. Hands down the most magical experience Ive had anywhere. My wedding guests were all so impressed at how well their family took care or us and welcomed us. Such gracious people. Make sure to order the breakfast. It was delicious.
Came for NYE weekend. Room was very clean and cozy. Room has its own private entrance. Breakfast is in the kitchenette. A perfect romantic getaway. close to attractions but far enough away to feel secluded. Bunny farm was a bonus. Views were great. Would love to come back in fall when trees are turning. Only thing lacking in our room was a closet, but there were hooks on the wall and a couple hangers we utilized.
Quaint little place tucked away off a country road about 15 minutes from the Branson strip. Wouldnt exactly call it a bed and breakfast, more like a bed and snack. There are a couple yogurt packs, a couple apple juices and orange juices. The jetted hot tub in the room is nice and theres a smart TV. No Wi-Fi available for guests that I could see. Its not a bad place at all, just dont expect any actual breakfast.
We got married this past weekend and shared our special day with friends and family at The Hummingbird. We could not have been happier. Such a beautiful and romantic place. The owners and family were incredibly gracious and kind. They went out of their way to make our time wonderful, fun and memorable. The room (The Expedition) was amazing! The view and the Inn is absolutely beautiful!! Everything down to the last detail was perfect. We will definitely be back!!
We had a wonderful 4 days their. Were looking forward to going back in spring..but this time Ill get a room has a TV just incase it rains, we can watch a movie....lol
I am beyond impressed with Chris and Hollie’s farm! This was the best experience we’ve had in Branson and will definitely be back every time we visit. Being able to feed the bunnies by hand and hold them was simply amazing. And meeting the Emu was an awesome experience!Chris was very accommodating and the location was easy to find, it was just secluded enough to be quiet and beautiful but still a short drive to all Branson has to offer! We learned so many cool facts about the animals, and they were all so loved and well taken car of.We can’t wait to come back to Branson and stay at the Hummingbird Inn! Such a quaint place.
Had our wedding here 10 years ago. We were young and needed something affordable. The place was beautiful. Set on top of a hill over looking forestry with hummingbirds .it was the most memorable moments and here we are 10 years and 2 kids later. Wouldnt change a thing. We live in the UK now but hope to visit again.
Was Beautiful B&B. Enjoyed the beautiful home and quite country scenery. My husband enjoyed talking to owners Daughter and playing with the familys pet chicken. We had not been away since our 17 yr old Daughters death last July and this was the right place for us quite and serene. Beautiful view from our window and the room was immaculate!!!!
Our family had an amazing week at The Hummingbird Inn! Quiet, very clean, gorgeous views of endless hills, trees and wildlife! A peaceful retreat after our busy days in Branson and at Tablerock lake. Our kids really enjoyed watching the family of deer that visited nightly as well as the fireworks we could see coming from the Silver Dollar City Amusement Park. The kids loved the surrounding wildlife as well as the farm animals near the inn. Thanks Chris, Hollie and girls for making us so welcome! We can’t wait to visit again!
The Hummingbird Inn is our favorite place to vacation. My husband and I have stayed here three times total-- Ozark Couples Retreat in July 2020, Branson Mountain Meadows Retreat in December 2020, and most recently in the Branson Expedition Suite for our honeymoon in June 2021. We love everything about this place-- the quiet location, the beautiful view, the jacuzzi, the animals that live on the property (a pig, goats, bunnies, and guinea pigs), the option to add on the sauna and order a cooked breakfast, and the free breakfast and snacks provided in the room. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are of utmost cleanliness. Overall, it is a very cozy and quaint place to stay. It is reasonably priced and worth the money. Each time we leave, we are already talking about our next visit here!
We had the BEST week at the Hummingbird Inn! We got married in the gardens at the inn and stayed for a few nights after. Holly, Chris, and their sweet daughters made everything so perfect for us! From the wedding to the room, every detail was thoughtfully planned for us. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful, elegant, + filled with care + detail. The owners were incredibly kind + went out of their way to assist us. The room was exceptionally clean + peaceful while the breakfast was plentiful + delicious. The view was also lovely with the long views of mountains + trees + I loved the soothing music that accompanied our arrival + breakfast.
My husband and I got married here 9 years ago under the previous owners, and WOW — what a difference 9 years makes!! Shear disappointment. Where do I even begin? There used to be a beautiful, white gazebo outside covered in flowers. That’s what we got married under. That’s been taken down. The place where there’s now 1 chicken and 16 rabbits used to have pumpkins and fall decorations and so much more to look at, is now a run down “barn area?” No decorations :( The large White Home/Bed and Breakfast is covered in green mold and the white paint is peeling and looks as though no one has been up keeping the outside of the House. Now— to the good stuff!! We paid upfront, like asked; for our 9 year Anniversary weekend getaway and stayed in the Expedition Suite. Checked in after 3:00 pm (actually it was about 4:15 pm) Only to our surprise, the room looked liked it was lived in. The bed was unmade, there was 3 bags of trash all over the floor, the lights were off; Upon speaking with one of the owners, we were told that “ the work calendars didn’t get synced” or something like that and they weren’t sure who even stayed in that room ? Moving on — They cleaned up the room while we went to dinner. Upon us coming back, the carpet in that suite is FULL of clearly visible stains. Unacceptable! The whole room needs to have that ripped up. The TV didn’t work AT ALL, and the owner was Trying to trouble shoot it with me via text after he told me the previous person that stayed in the room probably switched it with the other remote ? Huh? It is TRULY not a B&B. You have to pay Extra for breakfast in the AM per person and you only get one thing to chose from. A normal B&B you come down in the AM with all the other guests and the owner cooks a big breakfast for you. The positive part of this trip - the jacuzzi tub. Unfortunately, we won’t be back. They need more help and many changes/upgrades.
Stayed here with the wife last year. Cant go wrong here. It a quick ride into Branson, but has the quite relaxed feel of a get away. Every thing was clean, breakfast was very good. (Make sure to make special requests like allergies or things you dont like such as onions ect) Try the house wine, Im not a wine drinker, but wow it is good! Id stay here again for sure.
We got married here and they did EVERYTHING for us! It was a very beautiful private ceremony, our room was perfect, the bed was awesome as was the food. We will go back to celebrate an anniversary or two. Highly recommend!
As to the previous review. Some folks make mountains out of molehills. Place was exactly as expected.Clean, quiet. Water pressure on jetted tubs took a while but still hot.Nice folks! There is a small micro farm type setting. Friendly Pig, goats, ducks and chickens.
We loved our four day stay here for our 25th anniversary! The pictures do not do this place justice. Chris and Hollie are easy to communicate with if you need something. This is a very peaceful and quiet place. We will be back soon!!!
Over the garage, but still a good room. Was looking forward to a breakfast which is usual at B&Bs just had some yogurt and cereal in the room refrigerator though. Good location to Branson for a show. It was a happy 21st Anniversary anyway!
My husband and I have stayed here on several occasions. Both experiences were superb. Owners are very sweet and go out of the way to make you feel at home. The view is amazing.! Definitely recommend.
I delivered a wedding cake today to the hummingbird inn and the view was stunning. Absolutely the most beautiful place I have seen in the middle of nowhere. The lady helping me was also extremely Nice!
The location is charming. Behind the Inn is tree-filled hills upon hills. The service is wonderful. There was a last minute change of plans on my part and the staff was so accommodating. The room was large and furnished wonderfully.
I hate to write this review, but it appears this location has closed. My wife and I went down to see the hummingbirds this weekend, but when we arrived, the hummingbird feeders were not hung and there were For Sale and No Trespassing signs posted. Hopefully someone is able to buy this house and open it back up.
We had our wedding put together over one phone call with the hummingbird inn and we are very thankful for them! We will be back for sure! Thank you for our speical day...you made it perfect!
We had my daughters wedding there and it was beautiful! The staff was great along with the food and drink. My whole family was very impressed.
I have not been here but visited a friend not too far away.It looks like a wonderful place to stay but........ it appears they had colored solution in that hummingbird feeder shown in a photo. I hope I am wrong because this is not a good thing to do.Wish I could take a trip to this area again.
A absolutely gorgeous place to stay a good place to reconnect with family and friends. close to branson and closed off to be able to be at peace. You should book with them
Great place to stay! Rooms were exceptionally clean, bed, pillows, sheets very comfy. Food was good, people were nice and comfortable atmosphere.
Great Family atmosphere. Very clean rooms & comfortable beds. Close to all Branson attractions. Great views of the Ozarks. Highly recommend.
We attended a wedding here. The place is beautiful. Very clean and well kept. And the folks running it were friendly.
