Reno Swings

I was never that interested in dancing until I fell in with Reno Swings. I went to my first lesson five years ago, and Ive been hooked ever since. The lessons are very beginner friendly and the social dance afterwards is fantastic. I cannot recommend it enough!

Reno Swings is a really great time! I first came to Reno Swings about a year and a half ago with literally no dancing experience. Thanks to the instructors and community here, I have a new hobby that Im extremely passionate about.Once a week, theres an hour long lesson geared towards both beginner and more intermediate dancers. Afterwards, they host a social dance that lasts for a few hours. No experience or dance partner is necessary, just show up and have a good time with some amazing people!

This group is amazing! I started swing dancing with them last year and have found such a wonderful community. I had never really danced before, but everyone was so friendly and supportive that I didnt worry about being a new dancer. The dance instructors are great about giving personal feedback to everyone in the group classes, and Ive learned so much. Theres always a beginning Jitterbug class in the main room and theres also an intermediate series class where they teach other styles of dancing like Lindy Hop and Charleston. And then everyone stays after the lessons for the social dance, and to chat.

Swing dancing with Reno Swings has been a blast for the last year. The instruction is really good for both beginners and more advanced dancers, and the social dancing afterwards is fun. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming.

Expert instructors who are really great at teaching; youll be surprised how much youll learn in a single lesson (beginners and experienced dancers alike)! Everyone is really welcoming and theres no need to come with a dance partner if you dont have one. Each week theres a lesson followed by open dancing. Such an awesome community and fun group to dance with!

While visiting some friends in Truckee I decided to swing by Reno Swings! They are super friendly and it seems like a totally comfortable venue for dancers of all abilities - from beginner to Frankie Manning. Thanks Reno Swings for having such a nice place for a visiting dancer to enjoy Lindy hopping :)
