This is an awesome place to come and feel safe while dancing and drinking. All of the staff are really friendly and welcoming. One of Renos hidden gems. My favorite thing to drink are the tang bangs... they are so delicious 😋.

Depends on the night, but most of the time on sat, its the place to go, always have some good music, fun place to dance with friends

We were there pretty early so it was dead definitely recommend their signature tonic drink it’s absolutely delicious. The bartender was very nice.

I love tonic, but last night was awful. the bartender charged me for the wrong order. i ordered 2 drinks for $18 and got charged $93 for ten drinks. i will NOT pay with card at this bar again. or even returning.

Bummer there is no 0 star. Anyone brave enough to go in this place should have there tetanus shot up to date. 🤮

Check their calendar before stopping by, cool venue but not much to offer entertainment wise.

Music and atmosphere are great!.. the drinks were on point and hit the spot. When super busy, its a little tight to dance and the wooden bench down the sidewall could use cushion pad. Overall, a great time!

If i could give it less then I would. Came in and immediately the bouncer kicked us out because one of the girls in my party tried to slam the door which was her trying to close the door behind because it was cold. Some girl at the bar was apparently complaining so he kicked us out because she was a regular. Wont go back, awful experience

Great, but with a smaller sized area maybe limiting the number of people would make it more pleasurable. No room to dance even.

Drinks are awesome and so are the people. Love the bartenders and the guy at the door. Djs are normally sick too!

Beautiful high end dance club with great staff and well priced drinks. I would insist on the VIP section. You can get bottle service without being removed from the rest of the party.

Nice atmosphere open late. But I watched the bartender drag a full trash can across the bar and leave a streak of garbage water on the bar tonight. It was super gross. Also the bar tenders seemed to be a little rude. The bar wasnt very busy and they just kept looking over us... And when they finally took our order they didnt offer suggestions or help for my companion who didnt know what she wanted. Management check your cameras... Your staff needs some help. There were several open drug deals in front of the bar, dealers using flashlights to light up their wares. Lots of dirt and dust in the corners and along the crown molding (large cobwebs) and it makes the bar feel dirty.

The energy and vibe are amazing, bartenders are super nice and security helps out on the floor. The regulars really upped the vibe when it started dying as well. Will be going again, glad Im a local!

Worst place, too expensive drinks with cheap service. If your looking for real fun, this place will spoil your night. Worst washroom and floor maintenance. They dont treat you with respect. I have been to so many places, had poor experience but never wrote a review. Understand if iam taking my time to write about it. I just complained politely to management about wash room, I was chuked out. I have been sent out in many night clubs but this is pure politics of management. They should run business with some ethics

Tonic has a great vibe and a nice bar for a new experience. I would highly recommend it.4 stars only because its been dead every time Ive been.

This is the place to go for all night partying when Imperial and 210N shut down for the night and where service folk go after getting off their evening shift. It tends to be a little dead before midnight but then after becomes packed wall to wall. Its stylish with good DJ house music, and great bartenders, friendly and prompt. Never had a problem with staff. It does get a little smokey inside though and does tend to attract some skanky druggies, but they keep it clean and safe and the druggies dont bother you. Young, hipster and mixed crowd. A lot of good looking, down-to-earth women.

The after party spot! The lights at this place make it unique. If you want to go when it’s busy, show up around 2-4am

I was born here in Reno. Currently live elsewhere and I am in town visiting my Grandparents. I work security at a large historic venue where I currently live. A lifelong family friend brought me here last Saturday. I was having a pretty alright time dancing and my friend went outside for a smoke. Then I was approached by two or three dudes who started being aggressive with me. I stood my ground, then they started shoving me. I shoved back. They then pointed at me as if I was the instigator, and the security dude seemed like he knew them. I calmly left and tried to talk to the guy about what happened. He didnt care. I then realized pretty quickly they had stolen my wallet in the scuffle. Ive tried to contact the bar. Nothing. I would not go here if you are from out of town. If you do, good luck leaving with your valuables. A police report has been filed.

Interesting place, it had really tasty drinks but me and my two friends were the only ones there on a Friday night

I would give them negative stars if possible. I am a disabled woman. I have neuropathy and need to sit a lot because I cant feel my feet and the security guard Travis (I believe his name was Travis).. a blond younger guy, took my chair from me. I explained my situation and they offered no sympathy and no accommodation. They are luck I didnt take a police report and sue. I was so upset by the time I left that I couldnt make the police report as I was crying. What a crummy night.

Great atmosphere and music.

I went to Tonic for the Zombie crawl 2018 and Im never going back after paying $7 for a whiskey coke all night this bartender that hadnt serve me in all night came and charged me $9 for the same drink on top that it was clear the drink was all coke a barely whiskey and dont get me wrong if they were to have been charging me that all night is okay but just because you are partying doesnt mean you are there to giveaway money just like that specially when you are tipping too so I asked one of the other bartenders which at that point probably have served me like 5 whiskeys already for $7 about why the drink was going up she asked me who was the bartender and If I had asked for a double I told her no so the guy came back extremely confrontational and upset to take the $10 off my hand and come back and throw me a dollar in my face. The only reason why I didnt throwed him the cup with the full drink in his stupid rude face is because I have class and manners and was not up to make a scene. Any other day any other person this guy should be fired. It just tells you how disorganized and ghetto the establishment is.

I havent been in Tonic for a few years. I was with some friends celebrating a birthday and we decided to go. Im standing at the bar when a woman comes up to me and asks if I knew where she could buy coke. After I said no, she then asked about weed. The place has gone down hill since the last time Ive been there and I dont see myself going in again anytime soon.

Look, its 3 A.M. All the other bars are closed. Youre looking for a bar with casino prices, but club feel. Well, look no further, friends. This place is exactly what you want: cheap drinks, party feel, and sick blacklights. Get it on, party people, because Tonic is exactly what you want.

We had a blast! Jimmy, the bartender, was a great conversationalist & was very accommodating. Perfect way to close down the night. Definitely coming back!

This place is so broke that they need to charge a cover on crawl night. They are already making money off drinks its stupid. Also its gross and not well kept. If you ever find yourself there make sure to see a doctor afterwards because you might catch a desire just walking past it. If I could give it a negative star I would.

The best late-night scene in downtown Reno. Entire ceiling synchronized light display, live DJ, great party crowd and cheap cocktails!

The sound system and music late at night is great ! Bathrooms are a mess, even when its slow. The bartenders are nice, however the drinks are small and pricey.

Came out of town trying to enjoy my night with my friends Minding my own business and security just kicks u out for no reason.

It was fun for a while until I got kicked out for not tipping enough, customers can tip what they want and when they want 🤷‍♀️ idk why some bartenders feel so entitled

I understand everything going on with covid-19 but do u really have to charge people to get in just to pay for drinks and no dancing

Ive been coming here for 4+ years its the only late night bar near downtown. (That isnt 24 hours) they close around 6am on weekends

Aside from the simple upbeat house music, tonic is a simple good time. Great people working the door and bar.

Got in there late at night. Food selection was very limited, but considering my intoxication level, I dont believe it was necessary.

It is what it is. Tonic is a place to party and get loose. Its loud, loose and a bit rough around the edges but continues to be a local favorite place to drink and dance.
