OYO Hotel Rosenberg TX I-69

With the power outages going on, this was the only hotel i could find. And thats the only thing it was good for. In regular circumstances, this place was dirty as hell. The ac dropped water everywhere around the room. Everything was wet when we woke up. Bunch of random holes everywhere. The towels were brown? Holes in the blankets, had to fight open and close the door since the latch was broken. Truly a last resort

Worse motel experience in my 45 years of living. Whole week, my room hasnt been touched. Trash still there, bed not made, linen not changed. Today my blanket was on the floor and all bed linen was gone. Gotta get new key everyday. No towels or washcloth for 2 days. Had to get one from room next door just to shower. Its 3pm and I cant even lay down and relax after work because I have no bed linen. $280 a week for this.........I tell them and nothing gets done about it. I got 2 more days here because Ive already paid for it, and Ill never stay here again. Youll get better service at a truck stop restroom!!!I just wish there were half stars because 1 star is being too gracious!! 🤬

Oyo? More like OH NO!!!!DO NOT STAY HERE!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOURSELF.The hotel looks NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. Its a scam all the way! The outside is so disgusting, theres sooo many pot holes, so many people outside just doing whatever. The room was small and cramped, the room smelled vaguely of piss and feces. The room door was jammed, the wall the ac was attached to had cracks and you could see into the outdoors. The bathroom ceiling had mold, i got bit twice by GOD KNOWS WHAT. I found not one but two dead roaches. The bed was disgusting, the bottom of it on the corner it was brown. The lamp shade looked like it was from a garage sale or just flat from the dump. Me and my family got there around 9 pm and left at 1am.We went home, no thanks Oh no.

I visited this on 3rd August 2024.This will be my worst experience ever.Room was full of mosquitoes and different types of insects.Room and bathroom door latch was broken.Most of places behind tables were very dirty.After these many issues did not receive any alternative from OYO management.Instead of OYO, I would say OH NO.

Guy at the front counter is a complete imbecile! Called to see if rooms are available. He said yes. Then goes to ask for a reservation name. I give him my sister in laws name, cause its for her. He keeps trying to tell there rules and regulations. 4 times back to back. As each time I interrupt and say the room is not for me, Im just calling to see if yall had rooms available, yall did. So Ill reserve it. But she needs to hear this not me. Im not the guest, she is. Mind you its 3AM.. shes in another car following me in her car calling other places to see if they have vacancy, Im in a UHAUL(and I tell him all that as well) I also say, Sir well be there shortly less that 5 min we are close by but i dont really remember where your located, so i need to hang up and use my GPS. so any thing you need to tell her just tell herHe tries a 5th time .. by then I just had enough cause he doesnt listen and just want to talk. I had to hang up to move it along. GPS said 3 min away. By the time I got there he put a no vacancy sigh up. Even after sending a confirmation text saying room was reserved. We drove 21 hrs from North Carolina and she just wanted a room for the night. That guy should never run a hotel where if he gets his feelings hurt he denies people, for his incompetence on who he needs to speak to. Guy like that tarnished the company brand name. Ill always persuade anyone to go find another hotel. Like anything else. Deserves 0 stars.

Great location, soft towels and a great shower. Clean room. The only negative was the broken lock on the door. Will definitely stay here again.

Rooms are so disgusting nothing compare to the pictures posted online I rented 2 queen beds and when I go to my room I was given 1 bed so they offered me a suite since they were sold out to what I rented. I left right away I didn’t check it out. Came back round 130am and I was so tired and found out room was a total mess I called other hotel near by no one has rooms available so I had no others option

We traveling from Texas to Nc this hotel is so bad save your money & do not come here !!!!! Husband asked for a room that would be suitable for a New born & a 4 year old they gave us a room that the A/c didn’t even work and was full with mold . Husband went back to Front desk and asked for another room second room they gave us didn’t even open with key . Husband went back to get it re done room smelled like cigarette so bad so much mold everywhere burned sheets the smell was just disgusting it gave me a headache !!! Save your money

Where do I start? Roaches, hood, drug dealing, 911, yea you should probably stay somewhere else. I don’t care if you have to sleep in your car. I should have. Bring bug spray, bring a gun, don’t talk to anyone, uu and don’t leave once you’re inside.

The most disgusting hotel experience Ive ever had! 4 trips from the room back to the desk. Had to change rooms 3 times. Toilet was beyond filthy, was told room service doesnt come in until the morning with no access to cleaning supplies until then. This building needs to be demolished. One bulb working in the room. I didnt expect much for the price but was extremely disappointed. Will never stay at this chain again.

The location is great because it’s right off of the freeway. I’ve stayed here before for several months about a year back. So it’s not my first stay here. The rooms are clean for the most part. Take in context a lot of people extend there stay here quite frequently. So if your neighbor is dirty then you may see a roach or two in your room. They do clean the rooms good enough for the most part. I’ve worked in a extremely nice hotel before and I’m also a consumer so I know exactly what I’m looking for. Some rooms may have holes in the walls from previous customers but it’s clean and it’s a place to stay. Not going to hold you, some rooms have AC problems as well as the TV may not be working. Just let them know and they’ll contact maintenance but it may not happen while you’re staying there due to shortage of staff. The pricing online is always better than in person. The property isn’t the best looking as far as physical infrastructure goes but it’s definitely not dirty looking on the outside. They do clean

When I checked in 08/04/23 the young man said it was a no smoking room, fine I dont smoke. When I opened the door, the room wreaked of cigarette smoke and there was a kroger bag over the smoke detector. I got a migraine that night. I was scared I might get mugged before I got to my room. The parking lot and drive were in bad condition. The courtyard was not mowed, high grass, trash, just showing no pride of the facility. There was no water pressure. No coffee maker in the room, no breakfast area. The a/c units drainage was across the walkways and the algae and mold was unacceptable. The a/c read 60°, but nowhere near that. When I closed the door, there was a gap at the side of the door at the bottom that was wide enough for someone to see in. The bed linens didnt smell fresh at all, nor did the towels. I was extremely disappointed and in fear. Thankful I didnt hear gunshots. The stairs and railings havent been painted in years. There is no reason that employees cant do cleaning maintenance on a routine basis. I didnt take pictures, because I was afraid. I killed 2 roaches in the bathroom and saw another, couldnt find it again, until the middle of the night, it crawled on my arm. The freezer part of the fridge hasnt been defrosted in l very long time. Please be aware when making reservations, the pictures looked pleasant, but the actual place was not very good. I reported the room smelling like smoke, since I was concerned they would charge my card and was told that wouldnt happen. I feel people were living there, which is fine, but clean up after yourself. Checked out 08/06/23. Wont be going back!

Paid for 2 rooms with 3 beds and ended up getting one room with 3 beds. The other room was only 2 beds. They kept telling me that there was no price difference. Will not be using another oyo hotel ever.

Definitely worst experience in my life, got in to the room and smell was strong but I thought it looks clean then look in to the bed sheets and dirty full of hair and stains with all kind of stuff, I called immediately to the front desk and ask for clean sheets and lady said yes you will get them in the morning. Its alright. A bit ghetto, but they are in the middle of renovating. I stayed here for two weeks. I had to ask for new towels and sheets cuz they dont have great communication. No one told me house keeping came by in the morning by 9am. Just to put my dirty towels outside and they would replace. They did have roaches but they do have staff spraying for bugs. So yeah, But the housekeepers were helpful to me.

Clerk at the desk was pleasant, but the room was not great. Security lock broken, doors and walls dirty, refrigerator wobbly (but it did work), floor felt gritty, there was an inch of water standing in the bathtub when we arrived (just the stopper in, fortunately the drain was not clogged), smelled like smoke. I asked to change rooms, and the room I was given was unlocked (door ajar) with lights on and AC blasting at 60 degrees. Beds were not made, toilet not flushed. So I went back and said Id stick with the original room. The mattress was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep in spite of the ghetto surroundings.

Be careful with these people who only care about the money they get, they are not interested in the clients and they treat people very badly, they lie and do whatever they have to do to steal from the American people. I canceled a reservation because I had the wrong hotel and The OYO team promised me that in 3 days they would put my money back and it was all a lie, they even gave me a fake confirmation number just to keep the money, be very careful with these thieves.

The only nice thing to say is that they had a room available at a reasonable price. However, we didnt stay. We left after taking a shower. The window was cracked, the shower handle was broken, the room was smelly, the restroom sunk was clogged, there was no toilet paper or trash bag in the can, and the surroundings were dirty, which you really couldnt see until we turned the corner after paying. They were kind enough to reimburse us for the second day and staff was nice.

This was the worst place i have ever been… in my entire existence…. nothing worse than workers smoking crackrocks. Snitching on more successful guests to get kicked out… The owners son baby K . Was very rude, he places senecios to be a certain way i have heard.. In the end i have experienced a work for room job. But this one by far is a system build to swallow you whole. I want to quit

Sketchy!!! Definitely not what was perceived on the website. We actually rented two rooms on a Saturday night. One of the rooms had roaches on the floor and the bed was not made. There were stains on the sheets. We also didnt realize till the next day, that there are people who actually live in the units for extended amounts of time.

Worst experience ever extremely dirty and infested with roaches. AC did not work there was no secondary lock besides the door lock. Everything was stained from previous use to include blankets pillow case and towels. The hot water did not work either. Staff did not know how to check people in and had to facetime owner to walk them threw the process. Property was completely covered in trash peoples dirty clothes and work boots were all over the balconys not to mention the other guest smoking weed outside with no regard to any one or anything we left within 3 hours of arrival wound not recommended to anyone!

COCKROACHES EVERYWHEREDESERVES -5 STARS!!!Im quite sure this hotels conditions are illegal for hotel standards. The room and courtroom were just horrendous. The ceiling was peeling off, the lighting was horrible (no lamps), tv remote didnt work, floor was slippery and gross,, the neighbors were loud and obnoxious, and theres no guest phone in the room to call the front desk or anything. Outside the room was dirty, unkept, and there was no do not disturb tag to put on the door, so the staff (unintentionally) disturbed me multiple times and asked me the same question. Staff was decent, nice, good personalities and all (except for the front desk woman, she was bland and unprofessional) but thats the only positive thing about OYO. Its located next to a very loud highway, so you hear the cars no matter what.I felt I got less than what I paid for, even though its the cheapest hotel in the area. I wont be making that mistake ever again. 20 thumbs down 👎👎👎

Worst place every. Got a room for 2 night and went to the room and there was roaches all over the bath room floor and mold on the lamp shade and when I confronted the lady at the front desk she threatened to call the cops on me if I went back In there so I had to send my daughter in there to get my refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a homeless person.

If i could give this place a zero i would. When you walk into the room it looks nice at first but then when you look closer its so gross. Dead bugs, hair everywhere(Bed, face towels, toilet, floor) , holes in the blankets, stains on the blankets, floor so dirty, room smelled so bad from weed, the fire alarm was covered by tissues, hand prints everywhere, etc. The point is don’t spend your money here i should have just spent a little bit more money for a place i could actually sleep at. The only good things are the tv works, internet is good, and the service is so nice. NOT A PLACE TO BRING YOUR KIDS TO. You would think they would be cleaning everything 10x more better with COVID but nope. Highly disappointed

This place was ok for the price. Our room smelled like urine, so we asked for another room. The second room was better BUT the room adjacent to us was throwing a party so we woke up to someone playing “I’m in love with the coco” at 2 AM so our sleep was pretty disturbed. There was a very polite cat outside though.

The positives. The bed was comfortable, had a mini fridge and microwave in the room, the tv was nice as well. The negative. Room smelled like smoke, found a bag of weed in my dresser my first night, cob webs inside the dresser, I had money come up missing from inside my room, people were very loud.

One of the worst places we have ever stayed. Despite the friendliness of the staff, the room was awful. Sink cracked, toilet crooked, shower curtain looked as of it hadn’t been washed EVER, chair in the junior suite was broken and unsafe, found someones hair on the bed that wasnt ours and we paid for a king but ended up with a double. If it hadn’t been so late, I would have gone somewhere else. Highly recommend you stay elsewhere.

There was cars up on blocks, kids running around unattended, people smoking weed and drinking everywhere and blasting music with their doors open. It looked like a run down apartment complex. Did not feel safe so we never even made it up to the room. Left immediately and got a refund, but then was charged a no show fee??? I showed, the place was just horrible.

While waiting on my apartment move in date I was at rosenberg location. It was very neat and quiet. Comfortable for the low rates.

There are holes in the wall and spiderwebs everywhere. Stains all over the bed. No phone in the room. One major downside for me is that there is no coffee pot in the room. And because of the pandemic they no longer serve it in the office. But if you just need a roof over your head and want the best price, this is the hotel to go to. Staff are respectful and friendly.

Infested with cockroaches. As in, EVERYWHERE. They had a little city, a civilization in that room. Lock on the door was busted off. A hole had been punched in the bathroom door. I’ve stayed in some scuzzy joints but this place tops them all. I’m amazed they get away with it. This building needs do be burned to the ground

Infested with roaches and bed bugs. They kept the lights on when I walked in the room, I was wondering why would they do that. When I laid in bed, ready to go to sleep, I felt something crawling on me. So I turned the lights on, saw mad roaches on the wall trying to hide somewhere dark. And it was bed bugs crawling on me. I’m glad that I didn’t bring it home with me. Literally gave me PTSD, and it’s been almost 2 years.

Dirty. Found drug paraphernalia. They also charged my weekly stay as nightly stays so I lost out a few hundred dollars. They did change it to weekly but never refunded me the difference. I would avoid here like the plague

To keep it short and simple Just dont do it.. I lost count on how many roaches I killed in less than 48 hours also a spider. The level of disrespect these roaches have at this location is unmatched. Im eating a sandwich and noticed a baby roach was crawling on my shirt ready to take my meal. I was tired so took a nap a roach woke me up by crawling on my arm in the bed. I cant make this up..(#PayTheExtraMoneyElsewhere) If possible. I wish I could post the pictures to prove my stay here.

I have no good things to say about the hotel room. It’s the worst room I have ever had stay in. Even $51 that I paid for that room was too much. That being said? I feel that you need to repair all those rooms and do a major upgrade.

Bed bugs, stayed in room 225 and yes they got in my stuff that I placed on the bed and now have traveled with me.

It was terrible windows had cracks . Also I order a king bed and had to stay in a queen . It was very terrible never again the tub was stopped up and I had sandals in there and still felt like it was disgusting I didn’t even wanna use the water

The toliet would not flush , no hot water , the tv wouldn’t change channels, the phone wouldn’t work and people outside with very loud music ! I will never again stay with this chain ! This is now called oyo. Water is hot, beds are comfortable. Reason for low rating didnt feel very safe there some of the clientele there seemed a little sketchy. Hoochies knocking on door wanting to know if you want to party. And noise from rooms above your room sounds like a heard of elephants running around while youre trying to rest. Didnt get much rest but I had a hot bath

I asked staff in the front I could get a refund but they declined. All they could do was give me different rooms. I went through 3 rooms and all of them were disgusting. Never coming here again this place should be shut down.

Very cheap motel and it shows. The room was clean and I had a goodnight sleep. The problem is the “neighbors” who blast music from cars at all hours. Kids and animals running around unattended, and just a general lack of pride. But if you’re on a budget, I’ve been worse places.

Disgusting does not begin to cover it! Run down, worn out, dirty, uncared for, unkempt, health hazard, not fit for human occupancy. Not to mention unseen and unresponsive to my formal complaints. I was never contacted or asked for details but they damn sure sent the survey rate us on google bs email. Well It was the worst hotel we have ever seen, and had we known that we would nevber have attempted to stay there. FYI the rates they gave to Priceline, higher than their standard rates listed on Google. The employees at other local hotels were all apologetic that we ended up there, with bugs, and stains, and broken locks on the door, broken light bulbs and fixtures, holes in the wall, and something that made me terribly itchy just sitting on the bed. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed, but I guess we have to accept the one good OYO we stayed in in Dallas was the fluke and the rest are trash and unlivable. Still fighting for a refund since we left immediately. They dont want to return it of course.** just saw their email response to our serious complaints. Added a screenshot of it. They need to take their investment firm and its low standards back to wherever they came from - I could do a better job than they are.2nd Update** well the pictures of the damage and stains and digusting conditions did nothing to sway the computer i emailed at the email address they provided in their response. I did not get any discussion or even acknowledgement of the issues. However they did try and book me at that same hotel again Whoever is in corporate supposedly getting those emails did nothing at all. Not one word about the holes, and garbage and mystery stains we photographed. Who handles business this way

Absolutely horrible do not stay here there are roaches most of the house keepers live there and are messy the front desk condones it as well I had to fight with a women that works there because she hit me in the back of the head while I was facing another direction for no reason and the receptionist refused to play the camera and said that’s a police problem HORRIBLE SERVICE AND NOT SAFE DONT BRING YOUR CHILDREN EITHER BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THAT EITHER NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS HAD TO BEG HIM TO PLAY THE CAMERA STILL REFUSED HE WAS THE OWNERS SON

Stayed for one night just because we didnt want to drive 51/2 hrs back home stayed in rm 233 smelled alot like urine disinfected everything still the urine smell was strong we checked out at 8am on the road back home I see my son scratching him self he had a bad rash I dont know if it was bed bugs or fleas (0 stars)

This hotel is disgusting, we got to our room and there were roaches in there the lady at the front desk didnt care and refused a refund. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. I will be contacting county health about them. Nobody should ever stay here.

The service was terrible I had no hot water in the shower for a week and a day and door was like pried open at the top dresser had holes in the dresser doors dont close in the bathroom and front desk was rude no phones in the room I get ripped towels and and curtains holes in the wall no shower mats my wife fell in the shower they say not there responsibility

I want to say that it is one of the most horrible places it seemed terrifying when we entered the door there would be no when we got in it smelled of cigarettes everything was dusty and the mattress was dirty it seemed like they never cleaned it the bathroom all dirty and the windows all dirty when you Sleep, put your things away because the locks on the door dont close and they can come in and rob you. When I checked in, I stayed in the room for 5 minutes and I went to the desk to hand over the key and I preferred to lose my money and look for another place after sleep somewhere else my son dreamed that our car was stolen at the oyo motel. If I could give this place a -5 I would, I dont understand how this place continues to exist.

This is the worst place I have ever been in my life... I dont understand how the owner of this place even has a license to rent.We entered the room and there was an unpleasant smell of cigarettes, the carpet was very dirty, the sheets were stained and the place was very ugly. When I returned to the reception to ask for a refund of my money because that place did not want to sleep, they did not want to do so for me and they said that I had entered the room.... the receptionist was very unprofessional, she did not want to help us solve the problem. I had to take them to the room so they could see the conditions of the room and after a long wait between complaints they decided to make my refund... In my experience I have never stopped in that place...
